Chapter 71: World of Marvels Part 3: Hulk Unleashed

In the lab, Tony and Bruce were busy decoding some secrets that the director was hiding from them, trying to make sure no one would discover what he was trying to hide from them while they were running the search in the background as Twilight was working with them after making the needed copies for the personnel about their enemy. Rarity was with Fluttershy doing their hair when the director walked into the lab, ignoring the ;noise and walking straight to the two scientists.

"What are you doing Mr. Stark?" Director Fury asked.

"Uh, kinda been wondering the same thing about you." Tony replied.

"You're supposed to be looking for the Tesseract." Fury pointed out.

"We are." Bruce said. "The models locked and we're sweeping for the signature now. Once we get a hit, we'll be able to find it within half a mile."

"And you'll get your cube back." Tony said. "No muss, no fuss." The computer then informed them that the program had cracked the code and immediately information popped up, seeing data on something called 'Phase 2.' "What is Phase 2?"

At that moment, Spyro and Steve walked in carrying the Hydra weapon, placing it on the table for everyone to see.

"Phase two is SHIELD uses the cube to make weapons." Steve said. "Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow for me."

"And with these weapons, a small army could take over a country within days." Spyro added.

"Spyro, Rodger's, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract." The director responded. "This does not mean that we-"

"I'm sorry Nick." Tony said, turning the screen to show they were planning on making weapons. "You were saying."

At that moment, Thor and Natasha came in with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie, hearing everything from the hall.

"Director, if the levels from the Tesseract are what these reading say they are, it would kill a lot of ponies, er... people." Twilight said.

"Wait, hold on there partner." Applejack said, walking up. "Ya'll saying that this Tesser-whatcha-ma-call-it is powerful enough to seriously harm everypony?"

"Worse, it can level an entire city." Spyro replied. "And that's only a fraction of its power."

"That doesn't sound very nice!" Pinkie said. "I mean, why would you want to destroy someponies home in the first place? That doesn't sound very Okie Dokie Lokie at all. That just makes you into a very, very, big meanie, meanie pants!"

"Why would you want something like that in the first place?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Because of him." Fury replied, pointing to Thor.

"Me?" Thor asked.

"Director sir, um, if I may, why point at Thor?" Fluttershy asked.

"Last year Earth had a visitor from another world." Fury replied. "And he had a grudge match that leveled an entire town. Not only did we learn we aren't alone, but we are also hopelessly, and hilariously, outgunned. And the arrival of these Heartless confirms we need stronger weapons."

The screen then. Brought up an image of the Keyblade, which the director looked at and then approached.

"We also found that the Keyblade is the only thing that completely destroy's the Heartless." Tony said. "The material used to make it is an unknown metallic alloy that you can't find on Earth and has an energy reading that seems to have a dangerous effect on these things.

"One more reason why we need these weapons." Fury said.

"You can't just go around making weapons of mass destruction." Spyro said. "Especially from something that you don't understand."

"I agree with the dragon." Thor said, confusing all but those who know of Spyro's Dragonic origin. "Besides, my people only want peace with earth."

"But there are other threats out there." The director replied. "The world is filling up with people who cannot be matched. those who can;t be controlled."

"Like how you control the cube?" Steve asked.

"Really Steve, no need to be uncouth right now." Rarity said. "Even though I don't agree with the director, no need to start an argument."

"Your work with the Tesseract is what brought Loki here in the first place." Thor said. "It is a signal that the Earth is ready for a higher form of war."

"A higher form?" Steve asked.

"You force our hand." The director replied. "We had to come up with-"

"A nuclear deterrent?" Tony asked. "Because that always calms everything right down."

"Need I remind you how you made your fortune Stark?" Fury asked.

That's when the entire room erupted into a massive argument about how the Tesseract should be used, about how dangerous one another was and even drawing the Mane Six into the argument about the kinds of threats they may have brought with them, sparking a fierce verbal war between everyone, failing to notice that the gem in the spear was glowing as they fought. After a minute of the heated conversation, Spyro then felt a sudden disturbance in the Force, the conversation tuning out as everything seemed to grow darker, looking around to understand what was going on when his eyes settled on the scepter, which the gem continued to glow brighter as he starred at it, suddenly feeling drawn to it as he walked over, about to pick it up when he snapped out of it, shaking his head as he felt a headache come on.

"You speak of control, yet you cause chaos." Thor said, getting Spyro's attention.

"Well, it's his MO, isn't it?" Banner asked. "I mean, what are we, a team? Spyro and his friends are a team, yes, but us? No, no, no, we're a chemical mixture that ends up making and causing chaos. We're basically a time bomb."

"You need to step away." Fury said.

"Why shouldn't the guy let off a little stream?" Stark said.

"You know darn well why!" Steve exclaimed. "Back off."

"Oh I'm starting to want you to make me." Stark said.

"Yeah, big man in a suit of armor." Steve said. "Take that all away and what are you?"

"Genius playboy philanthropist." Tony replied.

Everyone familiar with Stark looked to Natasha, who shrugged her shoulders, indicating it made sense.

"I've seen guys with none of that worth ten of you." Steve said. "I've seen the footage and the only thing you fight for is yourself. You aren't the guy who will pull the sacrifice play. To lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you."

"I'd rather cut the wire." Tony replied.

Steve then chuckled a bit, looking to Banner who also smiled.

"Always a way out." Steve said, returning his focus to Tony. "You may not be a threat, but you better stop pretending to be a hero."

"You mean like you?" Tony asked. "You're a laboratory experiment Rodger's. Everything special about you came out of a bottle."

"ENOUGH!" Spyro shouted, getting their attention. "We're all angry here and all of us are ticked off about one thing or the other, this doesn't help us find the Tesseract any faster."

"He's right." Fury said. "None of this is helping us."

"You people are so petty, and tiny." Thor said.

"Yeah, this is a team." Banners said.

"Agent Romanoff, would you kindly escort Dr. Banner to..." The director said.

"To where?" Bruce asked. "I mean, you rented your room."

"The cell was just incase..." The director tried to say.

"You needed to kill me." Banner finished. "But you can't. I know, I've tried." Spyro could sense the tension in the room was reaching a boiling point, sensing Dr. Banner's temper was reaching a boiling point, so he moved towards the girls, which they saw how worried he looked and immediately moved to him, getting behind him as he reached for his Lightsaber. "I got low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out. So, i moved on and I focused on helping other people. I was good, but then you dragged me into this freak show and put everyone here at risk." banner then reached behind him and picked up the scepter, everyone in the room immediately backing away as Spyro took his saber off his belt. "You wanna know my secret Agent Romanoff? You wanna know how I stay calm?"

Everyone was starring at the angered scientist, tension in the room so thick you could cut it with a knife as he was holding the weapon Loki was using, so the two agents reached for their guns as a precaution, keeping their eyes on him.

"Dr. Banner." Steve said, getting his attention. "Put the scepter down."

The doctor looked down to his left, finding he was holding the weapon in his hand and looked to the scared looks on everyone's face.

"Dr. Banner." Spyro said, putting his saber back on his belt, approaching him slowly. "Here, let me take the scepter, before someone get's hurt."

The doctor looked between Spyro and the scepter, thinking about something before he reluctantly handed it to him, Spyro taking the scepter from him and walked over to put it back, but as he was about to put it down, he felt as though someone was pulling him away, his eyes glassing over as he felt the disturbance again, this time he had another vision. In it, he saw through his vision six colored gems circling him, hearing whispers from each of the gems as if calling out to him, but unable to understand what they were saying. He was then pulled away through what appeared to be different scenarios and through different places, seeing a crimson liquid hidden in a stone container, a temple with what appeared to be someone guarding it, the scepter Spyro was holding, an amulet worn by someone using magic, the Tesseract in the middle of New York City, and a metal sphere that opened up to reveal a purple light that washed over him. When he could see again, he saw himself, standing in the middle of the six stones, looking at him with a dark smile.

"You know where they are." He said. "You already have one in your grasp, ripe for the taking. Nothing can stop you. Take it. Use its power and stop Loki, find the Tesseract and claim the stone hidden in it to find the rest. Use their power and destroy the Heartless and the Organization, bring peace to the universe and to worlds beyond." He walked over to Spyro, the stones circling him as they drew closer, flying around him until they were circling his neck, sinking into his collar as limitless power surged through him. "True power is what all crave, what you crave. The power to protect those you love. The stones obey the strong, destroy the weak. Prove you're strong and take the stone."

He could feel the power coming from the stones, as if they were already a part of him when he started to hear voices again, looking to his left and saw that his friends were looking at him, sensing their worry as he came back to reality, seeing them starring at him while he stood there with the scepter still in his hand, looking into the blade to see his own eyes had turned yellow. Closing his eyes, he put the scepter back onto the platforms that held it, backing away as he took a few deep breaths, calming himself as his eyes returned to normal.

"Spyro, you ok?" Fluttershy said, flying to him. "You were starring at the scepter for a minute. We were getting worried."

"I-I think so." Spyro said, backing away from the weapon. "But... I am not touching that thing... ever again."

"Glad to hear." Fury said, putting the strap back over his weapon. "For a moment I thought we needed to take you down."

A moment later, the computer system started to beep, letting them know that the Tesseract has been found.

"Looks like you kids don't get to see my little party trick after all." Banner said, heading to the computer.

"Has it found the Tesseract?" Steve asked.

"It has." Banner replied.

"The Tesseract belongs in Asgard." Thor said. "No human can handle its power."

"I agree with Thor." Spyro said. "The Tesseract is too dangerous for humans to play with."

"And leave us defenseless?" Fury asked.

"Better than starting World War Three, don't you agree?" Spyro asked.

They then heard the captain and Tony argue, Spyro rolling his eyes and was about to break it up when the entire carrier shook as an explosion sounded, flames shooting out of the vents of the lab and sent Banner and Natasha flying out of the window along with Rarity and Fluttershy while everyone else hit the floor from the explosion.

"We're under attack!" Spyro exclaimed, looking to his friends, but not finding Rarity of Fluttershy. "Where's Rare and Flutters?"

"Spyro, down here!" Fluttershy said, flying up to the shattered window. "Natasha and Banner are down there."

"Where's Rarity?" Spyro asked.

"She's also down there, but she's hurt." Fluttershy said.

Without thinking, Spyro leapt down and landed safely on the ground, looking around and saw that Natasha and Banner were ok, but the Black Widow was caught underneath some pipes, but when he saw Rarity, his blood froze as he saw her on the ground, motionless and unresponsive, so he rushed over to her, finding that she was overall uninjured, despite the fall. When she came to, she groaned a bit and tried to move, but screamed in pain.

"Little diamond, what's wrong?" Spyro asked.

"My leg." Rarity replied, looking back. "It hurts."

Spyro looked back and saw that it looked ok, but shuffled over, gently touched her hind leg in a few spots until he found where it hurt, causing her to hiss in pain.

"It's a clean break." Spyro said, gently moving it to straighten it as his chaos energy flowed from him to her. "You're lucky it was a clean break, otherwise it would have been much worse." He then heard Natasha and Banner moving. "Widow, Banner, you two ok?"

"I'm alright, but I'm trapped." Natasha replied. They then heard Bruce groan and moan, probably hurt, but then they noticed the erratic movement and the sudden change in skin pigmentation. "Doctor? Bruce?" The doctor looked like he was in pain, but Spyro feared for what was coming. "You got to fight it Bruce, this is just what Loki wants."

"What's happening?" Fluttershy asked.

"The big guy is coming." Spyro said, looking down to try and speed the healing up. "We don't want to be here when he comes out."

"Who?" Rarity asked.

"The Hulk." Spyro replied. He then looked up and saw some maintenance personnel coming to them and panicked. "Stay back! We got a problem. It's big and it's green."

The personnel understood what he meant and immediately ran the other direction to safety, but he looked back and saw that Banner was loosing control, looking back down, but the healing wasn't finished yet, looking back to see that Bruce was nearly beaten.

"Bruce, listen to me, I swear on my life that you will get out of this, you'll walk away and never have to look back!" Natasha said.

"YOUR LIFE!?" Bruce shouted, spooking them.

"Too late!" Spyro exclaimed.

Bruce then started to roar out in pain, moving away from them as his clothing started to rip off, his skin turning green, looking back at everyone as there was fear in his eyes as he changed. When he was done changing, he officially became the Hulk, getting up and stumbling around before roaring out, anger and wrath in his roar as Natasha freed herself. The Hulk then looked over to them, looking very angry, which was what Spyro was afraid of, so he ended the healing, though it wasn't finished and picked Rarity up, who yelled out in pain as he ran away, followed closely by Fluttershy and Natasha as the Hulk ran after them, the four of them going up the stairs, which Natasha had to jump to get away as the Hulk ripped the stairs off, the group running and/or flying away, going between some pipes and managing to hide, but Rarity was whimpering in pain, so Spyro resumed the healing, focusing his energy into the point of injury while they were hidden. They then moved through the room quietly while making sure Rarity's leg didn't move, but Hulk found them, Natasha shot the pipe that had steam and blinded him, allowing the group to run away.

"Spyro, you can... ow... easily beat this... ow... brute!" Rarity said.

"Your girls safety is my top priority right now." Spyro replied. "Once you're someplace safe, I'll handle the Hulk. Natasha, we need some reinforcements."

"That's going to be a problem." She replied.

They rushed through a glass corridor and Spyro managed to get through without a problem, still carrying Rarity as he finished her healing, followed closely by Fluttershy, but Natasha was smacked by Hulk, flying into the wall and was about to punch her, but Thor came to the rescue, tackling Hulk through a wall and into the next room, sparing Widow.

"Thor saved us." Spyro said, gently putting Rarity down. "If he can buy me some time, I should be able to finish healing my friend, then I can help him."

"Don't worry about me darling." Rarity said. "Help Thor."

"Not yet." Spyro replied. He kept his hand on her leg, the green aura covering her hind leg as he continued to heal her until the aura disappeared, the white fashion mare moving her leg and finding it wasn't broken anymore. "Stay out of the way and stay out of sight. I'll help Thor with Hulk."

He turned to get into the fight, but saw the fight, but saw that Fluttershy wasn't anywhere to be seen, fearing the worst, so he went to the opening that Thor made when he tackled the Hulk, finding that the workers were fleeing while Thor and Hulk got into a fight, but he then noticed the lemon yellow Pegasus was flying to them and felt his heart crawl into his throat. He leapt through the hole and rushed forward right as Hulk and Thor got into the fight, Thor punching the Hulk, but was then knocked through some crates, the massive green giant rushing after him while the Pegasus tried to stop the fight, only for Spyro to grab and hug her, making her yelp as a blush appeared on her face.

"Fluttershy, what are you doing!?" Spyro asked, letting her go. "It's too dangerous. The Hulk is nothing but rage and anger."

"But he's scared." Fluttershy said, facing him. "I saw the same look. He doesn't want to fight."

"What do you mean?" Spyro asked.

"The Hulk is like a scared little critter." Fluttershy replied. "He doesn't want to fight unless he needs to. He just wants to be left alone, defending himself if he's attacked."

"Like a cornered animal." Spyro said.

He then sensed something and looked to his right, finding that Thor had called his hammer and it flew to him, grabbing it and then hitting the Hulk in the chin, sending him into a jet, which the Hulk ripped the wing off and threw it at the god of thunder, who slid under it, dodging with ease and threw his hammer, which the Hulk tried to catch, but when he did, the hammer pulled him back, landing on the ground hard. Hulk tried to pick the hammer up to use against the Hulk, but it was too heavy for him, the hammer not finding him worthy enough to use it's power, so that gave Thor the chance to knock Hulk down and grab his hammer, using it to try and restrain him, but the Hulk just leapt into the ceiling and into the next room, pulling Thor off the ground and slammed him on the ground a few times, throwing him to the other side of the room before walking over to finish him.

"WAIIIIIIIIIIT!" Fluttershy shouted, getting in between Hulk and Thor.

"Fluttershy, what are you doing?" Thor asked. "Get clear, now!"

"It's ok, I know you're not going to hurt me." Fluttershy said, walking to the Hulk. the Hulk grunted a few times and roared at the Pegasus, Spyro nearby to help if the need came, but she just smiled at the jolly green giant, rubbing her head on his leg, which the Hulk seemed to calm down, looking at the Pegasus in confusion before she flew up to him. "I know you're scared. you're in a place where there are a lot of things that want to hurt you. But everyone here is your friend. I'm your friend, Spyro's your friend, even Thor is your friend." The Hulk looked to Thor and Spyro, watching as the prince helped the god of thunder up, but put his hand on his shoulder, shaking his head. "We don't want to hurt you. The people here are just scared of you because you're strong and can do a lot of damage, but I know you don't want to hurt anyone. You don't want to fight. You just want to be left alone, not have people screaming when they see you."

The Hulk looked to the little pony and raised his hand to her, the lemon yellow pony landing in his hand as she just leaned over and nestled her head to his chest, which the Hulk seemed to enjoy as he smiled, sitting down and cradling the Pegasus, rocking her back and forth like she was a baby.

"Heh, po... ny." Hulk said, surprising them. "Pony, friend."

"I don't believe it." Thor said. "She soothed the rampaging beast."

"It's like what Fluttershy said." Spyro replied, smiling at the two. "The Hulk was just scared, didn't know who to trust. Guess all he needed was a little kindness, and a friend." he watched as Hulk and Fluttershy became friends, but then saw behind the massive green behemoth a jet heading their way, knowing who sent it. "Fury, did you send a jet after the Hulk?"

"I did." He replied. "I need to get the Hulk off this carrier."

"Call it off!" Spyro replied. "Fluttershy has soothed the Hulk! I repeat, Fluttershy has calmed down the Hulk!"

"Hills is trying, but she can't get the message out!" Fury replied. "Get her out of there, now!"

There wasn't time and they both knew the jet's attack would hurt his friend, so he had to do one thing and didn't like it.

"Hulk, behind you!" Spyro shouted.

The Hulk looked back and saw the jet, knowing the danger, he got up and held onto Fluttershy, covering her with his other arm as the jet unleashed a hail of bullets into the room, shielding Fluttershy and the two royals, walking towards them as Spyro slammed his fist into the floor and made a barrier to block the bullets. When the green wrecking machine got to them, he lifted his arm and lowered himself down, letting Spyro pick Fluttershy up and put her behind the barrier as she looked to him.

"Hulk..." Fluttershy said.

"Stay... safe." Hulk said. "Hulk see you soon, new friend."

Hulk then got back up and turned to the jet, roaring out in rage as he ran straight for the window, probably scarring the pilot in the aircraft as he jumped through the window, landing on the jet and started to take it apart as it spiraled out of control. The three of them rushed to the window and watched as hulk tore the jet apart as the pilot ejected, the fighter exploding and sending the Hulk to who knew where, Fluttershy shedding a tear for her protector.

"Don't worry little butterfly." Spyro said, patting her head. "Hulk is indestructible. He'll be ok." That's when his ear piece went off, reaching up and activating it. "Fury, Hulk is out of the carrier. Now what the heck did you bring a jet for!?"

"We wanted to get the Hulk out of the carrier before he destroyed the place." Fury said. "Had I known that your friend could calm him down sooner, I'd have held it back."

"So what's going on?" Spyro asked.

"The carrier is under attack!" Fury replied, firing his weapon. "We've been boarded by converted agents and SHIELD's most wanted."

"And that's not the worst part." Natasha said. "We got reports of Heartless on board as well in the storage bays. Hundreds of them."

"Fury, can you get ear pieces to my friends?" Spyro asked.

"Already done." Fury replied.

"Spyro, good to hear your voice." Twilight said.

"Twiley, good to hear you too." Spyro replied.

"Twiley?" Everyone with an earpiece asked.

"Don't start." Spyro replied. "Twilight, where are you now?"

"On the bridge." She replied. "We're helping the director keep the Heartless out, but they're all over the carrier."

"Then we need to divide and conquer." Spyro replied. "Twilight, you and AJ stay on the bridge, keep the heartless and their allies from getting control. Pinkie, Rainbow, go throughout the carrier and dispatch the Heartless, thin their numbers."

"Easy peasy." Rainbow Dash replied.

"Natasha, we're heading back to you." Spyro said. "Tell Rarity to wait for me where she is now, we're going take care of the Heartless in the storage area."

"They aren't heading to the storage area." Coulson said. "They're heading to the cell blocks."

"Loki." Spyro said. "Thor, get to Loki's cell and keep them from getting to him, we'll take care of the Heartless."

Thor nodded his head and picked his hammer up, rushing out of the room and towards the cell block while Spyro and Fluttershy returned to Rarity's side, running out of the room and towards the cells, striking down Heartless as they went until they reached the cells, but then they felt the place go into free fall, the director saying that Barton had taken down engine one and was on his way to the detention level. Hoping Thor managed to reach the detention level, Spyro and his friends got to work keeping the Heartless back for as long as they could, striking down Shadows and Soldiers, the occasional Strafer and a few Neo-Shadows as they arrived. As they were mopping up the last of them, Spyro felt a disturbance, as if someone he considered a friend was dying, fearing for the worst as he called in everyone, finding the girls were ok, but didn't know who was dying, but was dragged out of his thoughts when more Heartless charged in, Spyro and the two ponies with him reengaged them to make sure they didn't get to the detention cell, taking care of the new wave of Heartless until it ended, the three of them finally getting a breather as they prepared for the next wave.

"Spyro, the Heartless have stopped." Twilight said. "They're retreating."

"Awe yeah, we won the day!" Rainbow Dash said. "And who do we have to thank for that? Me, that's who."

"Glad to hear you're ok little Lollipop." Spyro said, everyone on the frequency laughing at her. "Natasha, you good?"

"I'm fine." She replied. "I have Barton in custody."

"Nice work Black Widow." Spyro said.

"Yeah, I'm fine too, in case you were wondering." Tony said. "Suits damaged, but I'm ok, thanks for asking."

"Well we can't win them all." Spyro said, more people laughing. "Coulson, is Loki still in his cell?" There wasn't an answer, making him worry. "Coulson, do you read me? Coulson!?"

Not liking the silence, he immediately went to the detention cell Loki was being held in, walking through the door, but freezing, seeing the director over a dying Coulson.

"Girls, stay back." Spyro said, making the ponies freeze. He then went over to the director, who looked up to him as he knelt down. "Coulson, you still there?"

"Just barely." He replied.

"Stay awake." Fury said. "Eyes on me."

"I'm clocking out sir." Coulson said.

"Not an option." Spyro said.

He then placed his hand on Coulson, trying to use his chaos energy to heal his injury, but as soon as the green aura appeared in his chest, it disappeared, fearing what was going on, he tried again, but it failed.

"It's ok Spyro." Coulson said, grabbing his hand. "Twilight told me about your powers, but, this was never going to work. If they didn't have something to... to..."

Coulson then went silent, Spyro sensing that he was gone as he saw a tear go down his check from the corner of his eye, the young prince's gaze lowering to the ground as he remained silent for his fallen friend as did the director, the medical crew coming in as the two got up, letting them do their jobs while the director put his finger to the earpiece.

"This is director Fury." Fury said. "Agent Coulson is down."

"A medical team is on its way to your location." An agent replied.

"They're here." Spyro said. "They called it. Coulson's gone, KIA."

The entire carrier was silent when Spyro said it, everyone was in disbelief that a friend was gone, even Pinkie as her mane deflated when they all arrived on the bridge, everyone but Natasha gathered at the conference table as the director was standing there, holding what appeared to be cards.

"These were in Phil Coulson's pocket." The director said, throwing the cards to the table. "Guess he never really did get you to sign them Captain." Steve picked up one of the cards and looked at it, which appeared to be a picture of himself when he was in show business. "We're dead in the air up here. No communications, no way of tracking the Tesseract or Banner, or Thor. I lost my one good eye." Everyone was silent as they looked to the cards, the young prince walking over and hugging Pinkie, who pressed her eyes into his chest as she let the tears flow. "Maybe we had that coming. I will not lie, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract, but I never did put all my chips on that because I was planning something riskier. There was an idea, and Stark knows this. It's known as the Avengers Initiative, which was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more when we needed them to, work together. Fight the battles we couldn't. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea, in heroes."

"Then let's make sure it isn't in vain." Spyro replied. He got up from his seat and walked to the middle of the bridge where the director would stand, closing his eyes as he meditated, which everything that wasn't bolted down started to fly into the air, freaking everyone out as they looked at all the flying supplies, wondering what was going on until they all fell to the ground, looking to the young prince. "Stark, Bruce said Loki needed to heat the cube up to 120 million Kelvin to get a reaction out of it, right?"

"That's correct." He replied.

"And he needed a power source strong enough to power his device, right?" Spyro asked.

"That's also correct." Tony replied. "What are you getting at?"

"Where's the one place where he can get a source of power strong enough to power up his machine?" He asked, the pieces fitting together as they realized where he was heading to. "Director, set a course for Stark Tower."

As he said that, everyone left the bridge and went to get what they needed, for Spyro, it was just to make sure his friends were ok and ready for the fight ahead. After a little while, they all got what they needed, Barton suiting up and getting his bow and arrows, Widow making sure her weapons were fully powered up while Tony got his suit powered back up, doing whatever kind of repairs he could while Spyro made a quick call to a friend who he could use his help with, knowing he could be able to arrive without being noticed before they walked down the hall and to the Dragon's Crest, where an agent saw them.

"Hey, you guys shouldn't be here." The agent said.

"Going to keep me out of my own ship, are we?" Spyro asked, his eyes turning into Sith eyes as he talked.

"Buddy, he's in a very sour mood right now." Rainbow Dash said. "I'd get out of his way if I were you."

The agent looked between the three Avengers, the prince and then to his friends, seeing that they weren't going to let anything get in their way, so he allowed them to pass, letting everyone get onto Spyro's ship and up to the Cockpit, were their seats were waiting for them. On the bridge, the director was looking at the cards from his fallen friend right as Agent Hills walked up to him.

"Sir, those cards, they were in Agent Coulson's locker." Agent Hills pointed out.

"They needed the push." The director replied. They then looked out and saw the Dragon's crest had taken off from the hanger and was on its way to the city. "And they found it. Get communications back online. I want to know everything that happens."

At Stark Tower, Dr. Selvig was busy finishing up the final preparations for the device, making sure everything was up to snuff when Loki arrived, walking behind the good doctor as he marveled at the device, basking in his victory.

"It seems you're very pleased with yourself." Maleficent said, walking out from behind the god of mischief. "Your device is fully active, and I have the information I need to begin my search."

"I must say, your servants were most helpful." Loki said, turning to her. "They kept the Keyblade busy, though he was fast to destroy many of them across the carrier."

"He didn't do it alone." She replied. "His little friends, the ponies, also have Keyblades. He's been training them and I'm surprised they actually survived their first encounter with this many Heartless."

"He must have taught them well." Loki said. "But it matters little. Once the Chitauri come through that portal, this world will be mine. And the Keyblade will be unable to stop me." They then looked out and saw what appeared to be a suit made of metal flying towards them, having trouble to stay in the air. "Looks like we got company."

"It's that fool Stark." Maleficent said.

"He doesn't matter." Loki said. "We have all the power we need."

"Don't underestimate your opponent lord of mischief." Maleficent said. "Spyro and his friends are more powerful than you could imagine when they're together."

"Then I'll split them apart." He replied. "This world, and all who live in it, will belong to me. Just make sure your army is here to help the Chitauri when the portal opens."

Loki cackled to himself, teleporting away as he left Maleficent alone with the good doctor, scowling at the renegade god as she too turned away, a corridor to darkness opening up as she walked through, leaving the world to it's demise while she began her search for what she wants, beginning her search in the darkest reaches of the universes space.
