Chapter 55: A Vacation of Disaster Part 1: Aloha Friends

The next couple of days have been the most slowest days in Equestria for Spyro and his friends as they were very excited for Friday to come and couldn't wait for it as the girls went out to get some things they needed for the beach Spyro was going to take them to. At the farm, Spyro and Applejack were working twice as hard throughout the two days, bucking as many trees as possible so they would be caught up on their tasks for the next two weeks and carrying them into the barn, Granny Smith and Big Mac watching them work so fast that they needed a breather in the middle of the day, drinking some water before getting back to work. When Friday did come, everyone was beyond excited as they all rushed to the Gummi Garage to see if the ship was ready, Twilight and Rarity arriving first to see that Spyro and Applejack were already getting the ship ready, waiting for them to arrive.

"Twilight, Rarity, good morning." Spyro said, waving them over.

"Morning Spyro!" Twilight said, her saddle bags full of books and a suitcase full of stuff she brought for her vacation. "Are we early?"

"Not at all." Spyro replied. "We're just waiting on the others to get here." Right as he said it, Rainbow Dash came rushing by, her bags full of who knows what as she was wearing some sunglasses. "And now W're just waiting on Pinkie and Fluttershy."

"Oh, I can't wait!" Rarity said, pure excitement on her face and in her eyes. "I brought all the things a lady needs for the beach. Sun hat, several fashionable pairs of sunglasses, sun block, make up..."

"Make up?" Spyro asked. "Rarity, you don't need that."

"One can't be too prepared." Rarity said, Spike coming up behind them carrying a trunk.

"Spike, what's with the trunk?" Spyro asked.

"Twilight's idea." Spike replied, looking exhausted. "Said she wanted all the books on how to have fun at the beach."

"Oh Twilight, you don't need those." Spyro said, hugging her. "You need time away from the books and time in the sun."

"But Spyro..." She said, being interrupted when he put his hoof over her mouth.

"Trust me Twilight, a couple of weeks away from the books won't kill you." Spyro said, looking at Spike. "Hey Spike, wanna come along as well? You must be exhausted from doing all of this?"

"Sorry, I can't." Spike replied. "I need to keep an eye of Fluttershy's animals while you guys are gone."

"Oh, pity." Spyro said.

A moment later, he saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders running up with their school bags on, confusing the prince and everyone else as they ran up.

"Wait for us!" Scootaloo shouted, stopping in front of them. "Can we come with you guys, please?"

"Scoots, what are you three doing here?" Spyro asked. "Shouldn't you be at school."

"That's just it, the school has been closed due to termites!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Termites?" Spyro asked. "You better not be making this up just to skip school for two weeks, because if you are-"

"No Spyro, it's true." Apple Bloom said.

She then reached into her saddle along with the other crusaders and pulled out a note, handing them to their siblings to see what was written on them.

My little students,

I have terrible news for you as the school house has to be closed as there is an infestation of termites that has gotten into the walls and has weakened the structure. The exterminators and specialists say it'll be about a week before the school house is pest free, but it'll be another week or so after the fumigation is complete to replace the boards that were damaged by the termites. Please give this note to your family so they know what's going on and be sure to do your homework and complete your lessons because when everything is taken care of, we'll be having a test on everything I have listed for you to learn. Have a wonderful day everypony and hope to see you all in a couple of weeks.

Sincerely,

Ms. Cheerilee.

Spyro read the note that Scootaloo gave him and looked at the end of the note, finding a section that listed everything they should study and the homework assignments they were given, surprised that their story was actually true.

"Hm, so ya'll are out of school for a couple of weeks?" Applejack said.

"Yeah, and we would like to go with you guys!" Scootaloo said excitedly. "Please!?"

"Well, as long as you girls do your assignments and do some studying, I suppose it'll be alright." Spyro replied, the fillies screaming in excitement.

"You're the best!" Scootaloo exclaimed, hugging her brother. "We'll get our things!"

Scootaloo and Apple Bloom ran to the farm house to pack what they need while Rarity held onto Sweetie Belle, letting her know she had packed more than enough items for the two of them to share. After waiting a few minutes, the two fillies came running out with some of their own personal items and rushed to the ship, running in and finding a place in the cockpit while everyone else waited for Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie to arrive, which they walked up the dirt road, Pinkie bouncing in excitement while Fluttershy trotted along humming happily.

"Morning ladies." Spyro said.

"Good morning Spyro." Fluttershy said. "Oh, I couldn't get to sleep last night. I was so excited!"

"Like how you were excited to go to the Pride Lands?" Spyro asked.

"Even more excited!" Fluttershy said. "And I have the opportunity to meet some ocean creatures. I can't wait!"

"Well, let's get going then." Spyro said, walking to the ship. "I have all our rooms ready, so find a place to put your belongings and meet me in the cockpit."

Everyone rushed towards the ship, leaving behind a cloud of dirt and dust as they ran into the ship, up the boarding ramp so they could find their own room before he walked into the ship himself and towards the cockpit. He passed by the sleeping quarters and saw everyone had chosen a room, with Scootaloo choosing the room closest to his while the other fillies decided to bunk with their sisters so there would be enough rooms for everyone, which was fine by him as he didn't have that many for everyone to have their own. As walked to the cockpit, he went over to his seat and waited for his friends to arrive, putting in the coordinates for the world he had in mind just as the fillies came running in, giggling and laughing as they took their seats followed by everyone else.

"Oh, I can't wait!" Twilight said. "I always wanted to have fun at the beach, but never got the chance because of my studies!"

"Oh please, no pony studies that much in their entire life." Rainbow Dash said, leaning back in her chair.

"I'm afraid it's true Rainbow Dash." Spyro replied. "Twilight spent most of her life reading books and studying magic."

"Wait, seriously?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Dang Twilight, you need this vacation more than we do egghead."

"I know, I know." Twilight said. "Especially after what had happened on Tuesday. Guess I need some time to relax and laze around. Kinda like what you do Rainbow Dash."

"Are we all ready?" Spyro asked, everyone nodding their heads. "Then away we go."

The engines roared to life again, the ship flying out of the garage and into the sky where it started calculating the best route through Warp Space to get to their destination, which didn't take very long as the ship them jumped into a passage of colors and lights, everyone waiting patiently to come out of the warp. After about a half an hour, they exited warp space and arrived above the world, the world itself looked to be a single island on the top with a volcano and palm trees with sandy beaches while below it looked like a large red ship.

"Ladies and fillies, welcome to the Hawaiian Paradise." Spyro said, everyone staring in awe at it.

"It's beautiful." Twilight said.

"It's dazzling." Rarity said.

"Look at that beach!" Rainbow Dash said excitedly. "It's ginormous!"

"Wee, this is going to be the greatest vacation EVER!" Pinkie shouted, bouncing up and down. "When are we landing!? When are we landing!?"

"Right now." Spyro said, guiding the ship to their destination. "And I know just the island we're going to land on. It's where my friend Stitch is at."

"Who's Stitch?" Fluttershy asked.

"You'll see." Spyro replied, heading through the clouds.

On the worlds surface, a little girl in a green dress with white feathers was walking with her dog, who was actually an alien from outer space and was heading back home after hula practice where two of her friends came out to see her, locally named Lilo and Stitch. He was a large alien with four eyes and purple skin wearing a Hawaiian shirt and shorts, named Jumba, while another was a tall lanky alien with yellowing green skin and a single eye wearing a makeshift outfit he made for himself, named Pleakely.

"Little girl and 626, welcome back." Jumba said. "How was practice?"

"It was ok." Lilo replied. "Practice was canceled because the teacher said something bad happened at his house."

"Ah, that's very bad." Jumba said. "Still, glad you got home. Got lots of work to do."

A moment later, Stitches ears perked up and he looked to the sky, growling as he looked to the air, making everyone else look up to see the massive purple ship, Stitch going on the defensive.

"Who's that?" Pleakley asked.

"No clue, not familiar with ship." Jumba replied. "Look like giant lizard head."

"Or like a dragon's head." Lilo said.

"Dragon?" Stitch asked, thinking the word was familiar. "Dragon? Dragon!"

Stitch then curled himself into a ball and rolled in the direction of where the ship was going, leaving everyone else behind.

"Stitch, where are you going?" Lilo asked.

"Must be going to destroy giant lizard ship." Jumba said.

"Or they might destroy the little monster!" Pleakley said, hiding behind Jumba. "They might be invading the Earth!"

"We have to go after them." Lilo said. "Stitch could get hurt."

Lilo then ran after Stitch, not waiting for Jumba of Pleakley to object to her suggestion, running into the forest to make sure Stitch didn't get hurt. At the landing site, Stitch was watching as the ship was setting down, climbing the tree and watching as the boarding ramp lowered down, Spyro walking out and taking in a breath of fresh air and taking in the scenery.

"Ah, sunshine and fresh air." Spyro said. "Exactly what the doctor ordered. Coming girls?"

He didn't get an answer as he immediately got tackled by an over excited pink earth pony, who then started to bounce on his stomach screaming in pure joy right as the others came out of the ship.

"Geez Pinkie, wait for us." Rainbow Dash said, walking down the ramp with everyone else. "No need to trample him."

"I couldn't help it!" Pinkie said, bouncing off Spyro as he clutched his stomach. "I couldn't wait for all the fun we're going to have!"

"Well, glad to see you're excited." Spyro said, getting up.

"Who isn't excited!?" Scootaloo said. "We're so excited for the fun we're going to have."

"And for a chance to get our Cutie Marks!" Sweetie Belle added.

"Yeah, we could get them for biggest cannonball!" Apple Bloom said. "Or, best surfers ever!"

"Wow there cowgirl, back it up a notch." Spyro said. "You're not old enough to even attempt to go surfing." The fillies groaned at what he said, Applejack shaking her head at her sister as she smiled. "Besides, I want you guys to meet a friend of mine first."

"You mean Stitch?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, oh, I love meeting new friends!" Pinkie shouted.

"Where can we find him anyway?" Twilight asked.

A moment later, Stitch jumped from the tree and landed on Twilights muzzle, causing her to whiney in surprise as she looked at Stitch, freaking out when she saw him.

"ALOHA!" Stitch shouted.

"AAAAAAH! GET IT OFF!" Twilight screamed, running and bucking around as she tried to get Stitch off, Rainbow Dash laughing.

"Stitch, there you are you little rascal." Spyro said, making him look to Spyro.

"Spyro!" Stitch shouted.

Stitch leapt off Twilight as she got a branch and tried t hit him, smacking herself in the face and causing her to see stars, falling to the ground as her eyes rolled in different directions.

"How's it going to little ball of destruction?" Spyro asked, picking him up and holding him. "Girls, this is Experiment 626, but he prefers the name Stitch."

"Hi." Stitch said, waving his hand.

"Oh, how cute!" Fluttershy said, instantly cooing the little alien. "Who's an adorable wittle ball of fluffiness?"

"Couldn't he have greeted us without scaring me half to death?" Twilight asked, getting up.

"Now where's the fun in that?" Rainbow Dash asked, still laughing. "I mean, did you see your face when he scared you!? Priceless."

"Aw, he's adorable." Sweetie Belle said, walking up to him. "He looks like a little dog."

"Who strange creatures?" Stitch asked.

"Oh, where are my manners." Spyro said, setting him down. "Stitch, these are all my friends from another world, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and my adopted sister Scootaloo."

As he introduced them, Stitch took an instant liking to Sweetie Belle, well her mane that is, as he tried to eat it, but spat out some saliva, instantly regretting it.

"No cotton candy." Stitch said.

"Ew, how revolting." Rarity said.

"Aw, he just thought my mane was cotton candy." Sweetie Belle said, hugging him. "He's still the cutest thing I've ever met."

"Well, seems Stitch has already made a new friend." Spyro said, kneeling down to them. "And I have a feeling he's going to make lots more in the end."

"But was it ok to tell him we're from another world?" Twilight asked, carefully walking up to him. "Isn't that meddling in the world order?"

"Oh relax, he's one of my summons." Spyro replied, pulling out a pendant with a ukulele. "He knows all about the other worlds, so it's fine."

A minute later, Lilo came out from behind the bushes to make sure Stitch was ok and saw Spyro and all the ponies, looking at them in amazement.

"Wow, cool." Lilo said, walking up to Rarity. "A pony."

"Finally, somepony get's it right." Rainbow Dash said, landing on the ground.

"And they can talk?" She asked, eyes filled with happiness. "Even better."

"Nice going Rainbow." Applejack said. "Ya'll went and did it again."

"Oh don't worry about her." Spyro replied, surprising them. "That's Lilo. She's Stitches best friend and knows about the other worlds as well, so we don't have to worry."

"Well that's a relief." Applejack said.

A moment later, Stitch ran off to the jungle and everyone followed him, going through some bushes and foliage until they reached a section of beach where no other humans were at, everyone looking at the ocean waters and the sandy beach head, the girls all looking at the beach in pure joy as they all rushed off to get their things, leaving Spyro alone with Stitch and Lilo.

"So what's been happening here lately?" Spyro asked. "Been keeping out of trouble?"

"Sort of." Lilo replied. "Stitch and I have been finding and saving experiments from Gantu before he can do anything with them."

"Gantu?" Spyro asked. "Who's he?"

"A big bully who's trying to get Experiments and do who knows what to them." Lilo replied. "We managed to get a few of them to places where they belong and do some good. But there are a lot more out there and Gantu is trying to get them."

"Well don't worry about him." Spyro said. "While my friends and I are here on vacation, we will help you however we can."

"Beach Party!" Pinkie shouted, firing her party cannon, which had an umbrella and a picnic blanket in it, landing perfectly on the ground.

A moment later, everyone else came running out of the forest and putting their things on the beach, setting up a net for volleyball, placing down blankets and umbrella's, even getting their things to go swimming, which Fluttershy immediately got her snorkel and fins and dove in to meet the marine life. Spyro couldn't help but smile at everyone, watching them having fun as Applejack and Rainbow Dash played volley ball with Pinkie and Rarity, Twilight sitting on her towel and reading a book she got, obviously still brought her trunk, and the crusaders playing with a beach ball, enjoying themselves as they laughed and giggled. He was planning on starting their training as soon as they got there, but decided to go against it and just let them have some fun, enjoy some fun in the sun and not have to worry about fighting anything or anyone.

Deeper into the island, Gantu is in his ship cleaning his blaster when an alarm went off, looking at his computer and seeing that an unknown ship had landed on the island.

"Hmm, peculiar." He said. "An unidentified vessel landed on the island."

"Maybe Hamsterviel sent someone to do your job for you." Came a male voice, showing it was Experiment 625, a yellowing tan experiment who seemed good at making sandwiches. "I mean, you have failed to get the last two or three dozen."

"Yes, but this unknown vessel intrigues me." Gantu said, pulling it up on his screen. "I've never seen its design before."

"Looks like some kind of earth creature to me." 625 said, eating a sandwich. "Besides, shouldn't you be out looking for Experiments?"

"There hasn't been any notification of any experiments in weeks." Gantu pointed out. "What good is there to go out and get an experiment if there haven't been any sightings of one?"

"Doesn't mean you shouldn't go out looking." 625 replied. "Chances are there might be one right now and your machine is just too slow."

Gantu growled at 625 for his suggestion, but still went over and grabbed a container and his blaster, walking out of the ship to go look for one, if there was one out there. As he looked around, he kept his eyes peeled for the strange ship while he patrolled the outer portion of the island and then to town, looking around for any sign, but found nothing, giving up and heading back to his ship when he noticed something in the sky, a rainbow twisting and turning in the sky, which he knew was not something natural on the planet he was on, so he walked in the direction of the rainbow and kept walking until he heard laughter and partying. Thinking it was a bunch of party goers, he ignored the sound and kept walking, but as soon as he pulled away one of the leaves to see the rainbow, but what he saw shocked him was he saw Spyro and all of his friends on the beach, seeing the ponies and the fillies playing in the beach.

"I don't believe it." He said to himself. "What are these things?" His communicator suddenly rang, picking it up and putting it to his ear. "Gantu speaking."

"Gantu, what are you doing!?" Hamsterviel asked. "Why haven't you gotten any Experiments?"

"Dr. Hamsterviel, my apologies." Gantu said. "There haven't been any experiments in weeks. But I have found something interesting." He flipped the communicator around and showed the doctor what he was seeing, catching his attention. "These equine like creatures seem to have some form of consciousness and exhibit intelligence like some of the earthlings here."

"Fascinating." Hamsterveil said. "These creatures are most unusual." They then saw Twilight and Rarity using their magic to play volleyball with the rest of their friends while Rainbow Dash was flying around hitting the ball if it goes too high. "Some of them fly and have a form of quantum telekinetic abilities? Gantu, forget the experiments for now. Bring me those equines."

"Which ones?" Gantu asked.

"All of them!" Hamsterviel shouted. "Start with the smaller ones, they'll be the easiest to capture and might make getting the rest easier too."

"Yes sir, I'm on it." Gantu said, hanging up the communicator.

At the Nobody stronghold, Demyx was walking along the hall and was restringing his Sitar and waiting for the mission he was to be on, but when he got to the briefing room, he saw that Xaldin in the room, wondering what they were doing there.

"You have your assignment." Xemnas said. "Carry them out." Xaldin bowed to Xemnas and both disappeared into a corridor of darkness, leaving him with Demyx as he walked in. "Demyx, I have not called for you. What are you doing here?"

"I came for my assignment sir." Demyx replied. "You said you'd have one for me."

"About that, I gave it to Xaldin." Xemnas replied, shocking Demyx. "He's more suited for what we need."

"What!?" Demyx asked, clearly annoyed. "What do you mean you gave it to Xaldin!? I wanted that assignment!"

"Your performance as of late has been lacking." Xemnas replied. "So I gave Xaldin the task. You however, have already shown how competent you are in handling a simple assignment. When I need you, I will send for you. Now leave."

Demyx was angered and wanted to outright attack his leader, but knew he would be defeated and turned into a dusk, so he turned and left the room, fuming over how unfair it was to not that the assignment he wanted. While walking away, Larxene, a blonde headed woman, was listening in on the conversation and watched as Demyx walked out and was furious with Xemnas, walking just behind him to talk.

"Tough break there Demyx." Larxene said. "Xaldin getting an easy assignment doesn't seem fair."

"And getting benched, again." Demyx replied. "What am I even doing here if they won't give me the missions I requested?"

"Maybe they don't trust you with anything because you're useless?" Larxene said, laughing at him.

"Very funny Larxene." Demyx said. "At least I'm not on his list of people to keep an eye on after what you and Marluxia did after betraying the Organization."

"Whatever." Larxene replied. "I got some stuff I need to do. Enjoy the bench line!"

She then ran off down another hall to get away from Demyx, leaving him bitter and angry, having enough of being benched all the time.

"If I can't go on any missions, fine!" He said to himself. "I'll just go and have some fun." He then went back to his quarters and looked at his maps, trying to find the perfect world to go to. "Now all I need is one that's out of the way, has plenty of sun, and I won't be interrupted." He then scrolled through the many worlds they hadn't explored yet or invaded, looking for one he could go to without being noticed and found it. "Ah, you're perfect."

He then opened a corridor of darkness, walking through with a grin on his face as he could travel there and not be noticed, the hologram revealing it was the Hawaiian Paradise world, the hologram shutting off before anyone could even see where he was going. At the beach, Spyro had changed out of his everyday clothes into his swim trunks, playing in the water with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie and splashing each other, Fluttershy popping her head out of the water, getting some air before diving back below the surface to see if she could swim with her aquatic life again, enjoying herself just like everyone else. On the beach, Twilight was finishing reading a book she had and put it down to get a new one, but Applejack put her hoof onto the book, stopping her from reading anymore and surprising her.

"Twilight, ya need to get yer head out of them books and enjoy some sun." Applejack said. "Ya'll heard what Spyro said."

"But what am I supposed to do at a beach?" Twilight asked. "I didn't bring the ones on beach fun and-"

"Twilight, like Spyro said, ya don't need to read a book to have fun." Applejack said, grabbing her foreleg. "Now come on and enjoy yourself!"

Applejack then pulled Twilight out from underneath the tree and to Rarity, where the three of them then started to play catch with the beach ball they brought, the lavender unicorn mare actually having fun as she let herself go and enjoy the moment, letting go of her stress and her need to study and just have fun. After a few hours of being on the beach, the group took a break from the beach and went back to the ship to get something to eat when they saw Lilo with Jumba and Pleakley, looking the ship over and marveling at it.

"I see you found my baby." Spyro said, getting their attention. "I call her the Dragon's Crest. The most powerful ship I've ever made."

"You make strange lizard ship?" Jumba asked. "Good craftsman ship. Plenty of weapons too. I am Jumba. And this is my colleague Pleakley."

"Hi, how you doing?" Pleakley asked, staying behind Jumba.

"Little girl say you friends of Experiment 626." Jumba said. "A friend of 626 is friend of mine."

"Well, glad to meet you Jumba." Spyro said, walking up. "I'm Spyro. And these are-"

"Yes, little girl already told me names." Jumba said. "And description of each pony that went with name. Gotta say, did not expect to see equine shaped life forms from another world."

"Well we didn't know about the existence of other worlds until Spyro came into our lives." Twilight said, walking up. "After that, everything changed."

"Well, glad to see Little girl make new friends." Jumba said. "So what is purpose of coming to island?"

"Vacation!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "We're here for two weeks of rest and relaxation!"

"Ah, R , of course." Jumba said. "Well, enjoy your visit to our quiet, peaceful little island. And enjoy your vacation."

Jumba and Pleakley then went back to Lilo's house, walking down the dirt path they took to see where the ship was at, returning home while everyone else went in to get a bite to eat, some of them eating some apples he got from Sweet Apple Acres while others made their own meals with some of the supplies he brought, though he did have to help Twilight with the cooking as she didn't seem to know a lot about cooking after she somehow burnt her sandwich. After eating, Spyro then had the fillies go and do their homework before they could go back to the beach, which they groaned and complained, but Spyro was stern and told them they agreed to do their homework while on vacation, so they went to their rooms and then to the library, SPyro staying close in case they needed help. While they did their homework, the girls went back out to the beach to continue to have fun, sunbathe, and even to try their hoof at swimming, while close by, a corridor of darkness opened on the beach, just far enough away to not be heard or seen when Demyx walked out of it, stretching his arms and taking in a deep breath as he enjoyed the fresh air.

"Ah, the beach." Demyx said. "The salty air, the sun on your face, nothing like it."

"So what are we going to do next?" Pinkie asked, getting Demyx's attention.

He then walked the beach and followed the voices until he saw the ponies, groaning when he saw them

"How about we go swimming?" Fluttershy suggested.

"Fluttershy, you spent the first few hours in the water." Rarity pointed out. "How about we get a tan?"

"Rarity, we don't tan that easily." Twilight pointed out. "Maybe we can-"

"We aren't reading any book Twilight." Rainbow Dash said, making her whimper. "I got it! Let's see who can make the best sand castle!"

"That's for fillies Rainbow Dash." Applejack pointed out.

"Aw, is the little farm mare afraid to loose?" Rainbow Dash asked, making fun of Applejack.

"OH, wanna play like that do we?" She asked. "Yer on!"

Demyx was surprised that the princes friends were on the world he chose for his resting place, realizing that if they were there, then the prince was close by, so he turned around and was going to sneak off, but Pinkie Pie appeared right in front of him, scaring him so badly he yelled out and fell in the sand, getting their friends to look in their direction.

"Hi there, I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name?" Pinkie asked.

"Pinkie!" Twilight shouted.

The five mares rushed over just as Demyx got up, dusting the sand off his coat.

"Geez, don't scare me like that." Demyx said. "You almost gave me a heart attack."

"Wait, you aren't freaked out by a bunch of talking ponies?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Nah, I've seen freakier." Demyx replied. "And to answer her question, the name's Demyx."

"Demyx?" Rarity asked, looking at him curiously. "Where have I heard that name before? It sounds so familiar."

"Maybe you met him somewhere in one of the worlds we visited." Fluttershy suggested.

"But if I might ask, what are you six doing here instead of in your own world?" Demyx asked. "Shouldn't you be back in Equestria?"

"How do you know about Equestria?" Applejack asked, now suspicious of the human.

Demyx knew he had just screwed himself, eveyrone now staring at him for an answer, but he chuckled nervously as he backed up, tripping over his own feet as he was trying to get away.

"Ow, that hurt." Demyx said, sitting up. "What a drag."

"Drag?" Rarity asked, her eyes wide in surprise as she recognized him. "Oh, now I know who you are. You're with Organization XIII."

"Organization XIII!?" Twilight shouted.

She, Rainbow Dash and Applejack called their Keyblades to take care of the organization member, Fluttershy hiding behind Rarity as Demyx raised his hands to surrender.

"Wow, chill out little ponies!" Demyx said. "I come in peace! I'm not here for a fight!"

"Yeah right!" Rainbow Dash said. "That's what you Organization creeps do. You come in peace and then you attack us!"

"Dude, I'm telling you, I'm not here for a fight." Demyx said. "You, white unicorn, help me out here, please?"

"The name's Rarity if you don't mind." She replied. "And why should we trust you? You're with Marluxia after all."

"Yeah, but he's a deceiver and a rogue." Demyx said. "I'm not that kind of guy. I'm more of the 'Go with the flow' kind of guy. Besides, if I hadn't given your friend that book, the yellow Pegasus would be a Heartless long ago."

"Wait, book?" Twilight asked, dismissing her blade.

"Of course, how could I have forgotten about that." Rarity replied. "Demyx gave us the tome we needed to save Fluttershy from her corruption."

"See, I was trying to help." Demyx said. "I'm not the bad guy."

The ponies looked at each other after saying he helped to save Fluttershy, Twilight motioning with her head to talk with her friends in private, so they grouped up and whispered to each other, Demyx sitting in the sand and moving to get closer, but Rainbow Dash looked up from the group, making the Nobody back away and let them converse. After a few minutes, Rarity and Fluttershy approached Demyx while the rest stayed back, keeping an eye on the situation to make sure he didn't try anything.

"Well, I do appreciate your help in saving my dear friend Fluttershy." Rarity said. "But we need to let Spyro know you're here before he decides to send you to the hospital."

"I'll go and tell him" Fluttershy said. "Besides, he-"

"Tell me what?" Spyro asked, walking up to the beach with the fillies. But when he saw Demyx, his blood froze, fearing for his friend's safety and called his Keyblade, but Fluttershy flew in front of him. "Fluttershy, what are you doing? Move, I need to take care of him."

"Spyro, he's the one who gave you the book to save me." Fluttershy said.

"I remember, but he's with the Organization!" Spyro exclaimed, pushing past Fluttershy. "And I'm not taking any chances with him."

"But he helped save Fluttershy." Twilight said, walking in between them. "Can't we cut him a break?"

He looked between the lavender unicorn and the Nobody, who was smiling and waving his hand at him nervously at him. Taking a deep breath, Spyro dismissed his Keyblade and walked up, extending his hand to Demyx and helping him up off the sand.

"Well, I do owe you for helping to save Fluttershy." Spyro said, not liking the idea of thanking a Nobody. "So what are you doing here anyway? Usually the Organization has something up their sleeve."

"You don't need to worry about me." Demyx said. "I've been benched, again. That means I'm not on any missions, so I decided to take some time for myself."

"So, you're on vacation?" Spyro asked, confused by the Nobodies words.

"You can say that." Demyx replied. "I'm just here to chill out and not have to worry about anything."

Spyro looked to his friends, who all shrugged their shoulders, not knowing what to make of it, but Spyro sighed and looked at him, smiling at the Nobody.

"Well, as long as you don't cause trouble in this world and for me and my friends, we can get along just fine." Spyro said.

"Awesome!" Demyx said. "Last one in's a rotten egg!"

Demyx then ran towards the ocean, diving in just As Rainbow Dash and Applejack ran after him, diving into the water after him. Shrugging their shoulders, everyone else ran to the water, diving in and swam around the water, but the fillies remained on the shallow portion of the beach as they weren't very good swimmers, so the siblings helped the little ponies, teaching them how to swim in deeper waters, but making sure they stayed close to the shore to avoid any risks. Deeper in the island, near the edge of the volcano, another dark corridor opened up and Xaldin walked out, looking around the place and then up the path near the volcano to see everything, finding the village and the beaches, looking around. He then set his sights on a house further away from the town, finding its design to be unique, so he started on his way towards that house. On his way, he found what appeared to be a downed ship, finding such a vessel in a place to be odd and hoped down, walking over to see what it was until Gantu came back, hoping to get more containers, but saw Xaldin and immediately drew his blaster.

"Stay right where you are earth life form!" Gantu shouted. "What are you doing near my ship!?"

"Actually, I was looking for something." Xaldin replied. "I was looking for a special chest that is here on this world."

"A chest?" Gantu asked. "What chest?"

"That's not for you to worry about." Xaldin replied. "I can tell you're not of this world. You are of a different species as to what should be on this world. Who are you?"

"I am Gantu." He replied, putting his weapon away. "I was a captain of the confederacy, but lost my rank after I failed to capture Experiment 626."

"Is that so?" Xaldin asked, a dark smile creeping on his face. "Then maybe we can help each other. I can help you to capture this experiment, and you could-"

"Forget it." Gantu said. "My current employer, Dr. Hamsterviel, wants me to capture some talking equines and-"

"Equines?" Xaldin asked. "You mean ponies?"

"Is that what they're called?" Gantu asked. "I remember seeing nine of them, all in different colors with a human that has purple hair."

"The prince." Xaldin said. "Alright, tell you what. I'll help you to capture those ponies so you can send them to this, 'Dr. Hamsterviel,' and you help me to find the chest I'm looking for."

Gantu scratched his chin for a moment, thinking it over and smiled, thinking he got the better end of the deal.

"Alright, we'll start right away." Gantu said. "We'll-"

"No, I need to see them for myself first." Xaldin said, walking past the massive whale-like alien. "Then, we can come up with a plan."

Xaldin walked along the path for a while, looking for the prince and his friends at the local beaches, but all he found were tourists and party goers having fun there, so he then asked around to see if anyone had seen a guy with purple hair walk by, but again no one said a thing. He then visited some of the other beaches besides the main one, hoping to get lucky as the day was ending, still finding nothing until he came to the last portion of beach he could find, finding them there enjoying what appeared to be a picnic. Now that he had confirmation of his enemy, he could leave, but a moment later, he saw the last person he'd expect to see with their enemy, Demyx, who was enjoying a meal with them and laughing as they enjoyed themselves. He was about to leave and report his behavior, but then thought of something, smiling as he opened a dark corridor and walked through it back to base.

With Spyro and his friends, they were all enjoying a beachside picnic with everyone there, including Demyx, as they exchanged stories and laughs, talking about some of the things they did, the fun they had, even Demyx talking a little bit about himself before becoming a Nobody, at least what he could remember before being turned into a Nobody. As the sun was setting, everyone went back to the ship, Demyx walking with them as they talked about the fun they had today.

"Today was the best day ever!" Scootaloo said. "We got to practice swimming, got to play volleyball, build sand castles..."

"And don't forget the water fight we had." Demyx added. "Of course, I managed to win."

"That's because you took your sitar out knuckle head." Spyro said, putting him in a head lock while giving him a nuggie.

"Hey, come on, cut it out." Demyx said playfully as he tried to get out.

Everyone then started to laugh at the two of them and their childish behavior, only letting go as they kept walking to the ship to sleep as night came.

"Demyx, where will you be sleeping?" Fluttershy asked.

"Eh, don't worry about me." Demyx replied. "I'll find something."

"No way darling, you're sleeping in the ship with us." Rarity said, surprising them. "After all, you are our friend now."

"Wait, for real?" Demyx asked, surprised by the gesture.

"Well, I guess it's ok for you to bunk with me." Spyro said, still unsure about the Nobody. "Just try not to drown me, ok?"

Demyx was happy, though he doesn't feel emotions, he still remembered what it is like and could tell he was happy, but then looked into the forest and saw someone, feeling the color in his face drain as he saw him. Spyro picked up on his anxiety, worrying that something was wrong and was preparing to call his Keyblade just in case.

"Is something wrong?" Spyro asked.

"I-I think I saw something." Demyx said. "I'll be right back."

Demyx then leapt off of the ramp and ran towards Xaldin, leaving Spyro behind and wondering what he saw that made him become so fearful. When Demyx approached Xaldin, he could tell he was probably going to be in big trouble, but when he approached his fellow organization member, he saw that he was smiling, knowing that was not a good sign.

"Demyx, what are you doing here?" Xaldin asked. "And why are you fraternizing with the enemy?"

"Well, you see, um..." Demyx said, trying to come up with an excuse.

"Forget it, I should report your actions to Xemnas and have you turned into a dusk." Xaldin threatened, making Demyx shiver. "But I think I can forget this, if you do one thing for me." He reached into his coat and pulled out a small silver bar, handing it to Demyx as he looked at it followed by a piece of paper. "Give that to Spyro and the following coordinates. He won't be able to resist going."

"But, but why?" Demyx asked. "Why have me give it to him? What's the plan?"

"The less you know, the better." Xaldin replied. "Make sure he goes to that world by any means necessary. Do that, and I'll forget your little, transgression."

Xaldin walked into the forest, leaving Demyx alone in the middle of the forest, looking at the bar and finding a strange insignia on it, then looked at the coordinates, wondering why Xaldin would give him these, turning around and heading back to the ship, getting a bad feeling about what was about to happen.
