Ok, so I think I know what some of you are probably thinking right now.

"Goshinzilla, why is this up now? You said you'd upload it on the 15th, but here it is up about a week early. What gives?"

Well, a few things. For starters, you guys got through that review mile mark REALLY fast. So I figured you guys deserve a reward.

And secondly, (And beware of 100 year quest spoilers for this next paragraph) ...I am SO disappointed by how quick and easy the Gold Dragon God went down. Like, three chapters? Three? That's it? That's... No man, you don't DO that after hyping this guy up for so long!

Heck, Sabertooth didn't even really need to DO anything! We had 4 Dragon Slayers in this arc (Natsu, Wendy, Sting and Rouge) and only one of them actually DID something, and then the rest of the cast was just used to Power Natsu up!

I have, and still am a HUGE Fairy Tail fan, but after seeing how a Manga like Black Clover really, and I mean REALLY makes use of its main cast, it makes this TRULY egregious. If there's any one thing that TRULY gets on my nerves as a reader, it's wasting your main cast of characters.

...So, to help counteract that massive anti hype, I figured it was best to upload this in response.

It's admittedly a much shorter chapter than my usual chapters, and mostly just set up, but what it leaves set up to...Well, let's just say I'd find it VERY hard to believe that it won't generate some kind of hype.

But enough about that, let's get on with the story.

Bleach is owned by Tite Kubo and Shönen Jump. Fairy Tail is owned by Hiro Mashima and Weekly Shönen Magazine. I own NOTHING. This is all just for fun.

It had to have been at least 20 minutes since Mirajane had managed to emerge victorious against the Quinta Espada, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. Though she desperately wished for nothing more than to assist her fellow guildmates to put an end to 'The Battle of Fairy Tail ' it was simply not to be. She had managed to bring back the 'She Devil ' she was once feared as, but it had been far too long since she had properly used her magic for battle. That, along with the hard and grueling battle she had fought, had taken an immense toll on her body and stamina. Thus, she simply laid on the ground, unable to move so much as a muscle as she stared at the cloudy sky above.

"I do hope everyone's doing alright." She couldn't help but say to herself aloud. At the very least, Elfman wasn't in any immediate danger. In fact, knowing him he was probably already on the way to come grab her. She couldn't help but smile, thinking of him walking all this way just for her sake. "I couldn't have asked for a better little brother, could I?"

Grimmjow, laying down not too far from her, couldn't help but scoff at her words. "Ya really think so? I'd be embarrassed to have a brother as weak as that guy if ya ask me."

Mirajane turned her head to the side to give the arrancar a vengeful glare. "I wouldn't expect a dark mage like you to understand the value of family. Or any bonds for that matter."

Grimmjow rolled his eyes. "Look, you already kicked my ass. Ya don't have to lecture me about the importance of bonds or some shit. Besides, next time I'll be the winner, and you'll be the loser."

"You're assuming there will be a next time," Mirajane responded. "Once the magic council takes you away-"

Grimmjow let out a laugh at her words. "The council!? Please, the magic council ain't shit! I could break out of there even if I had one of my arms cut off! I-"

However, before the arrancar could continue with his tirade, a loud rumbling sound caught both of their attention. As they looked upwards towards the source, the clouds began to part and swirl, as a bright light began to build up around its center.

"What the hell is that!?" Grimmjow shouted, the blue haired arrancar sensing a strange power coming from the twisting mass.

"I- I don't know!" Mirajane replied, the Fairy Tail wizard just as taken by surprise by this turn of events as her foe.

"What do you mean you don't know!?" Grimmjow demanded. "You live here!"

"I've never seen anything like this!" Mirajane shouted back.

As a beam of light began to shine down on the pair of them, the two tried to move as best they could, but to no avail. They were simply too injured to make any meaningful progress. As it stood, they were completely helpless before whatever this strange light was about to do to them.

Fortunately for Mirajane, however, she felt a strong pair of arms lift her off from the ground as she felt herself moved away from the light. The area in which it engulfed began to warp and seemingly dissolve into the light until there was nothing left. Nothing remained, not even a pebble. It was as if the very earth was completely barren.

Most noticeably of all, however, was the absence of Grimmjow.

For a moment, Mirajane felt a pang of sympathy for the Espada. While he may have been an enemy, she'd have preferred if he hadn't been...well, whatever just happened to him. She could only hope that it wasn't anything too unpleasant.

"Looks like I made it just in time."

Mirajane glanced up to take a look at her savior, only to let out a slight gasp as a result. Much to her surprise, the one who has come to her rescue had turned out to be none other than the mysterious and reserved S-class Wizard of Fairy Tail, Mystogan. "Mystogan, what are you doing here?"

"I was planning to stop by the guild to pick up another job request when I noticed all of the commotion. I've already been filled in on the details by Warren," Mystogan answered. "Thankfully I was able to come to your rescue before you were taken away."

Mirajane blinked. "So that's what happened, huh? I...guess that explains it. I take it you know what that was then?"

Mystogan nodded. "I do, though it's all I wish to speak on the matter. "

Mirajane couldn't help but pout at his answer. "Oh, come on, why not? Surely you can tell little old me?" She couldn't help but tease now that the danger was averted.

"Believe me Mirajane-" Mystogan said as he looked back up towards where the strange vortex had once been. "Sometimes ignorance truly is bliss."

Seeing how Mystogan wasn't exactly keen on answering her question, Mirajane decided to change the topic at hand. "Well, in any event, with you here, we have a much better chance at putting an end to this whole charade. If you need to find Laxus, he's located at Cardida Cathedral."

"I'm afraid that my role in this battle has come to an end." Mystogan told Mirajane. "I had to expend a lot of magic to ensure that I was able to arrive just in time to save you. I'm afraid as things stand by the time I arrive back in Magnolia, the battle will have already finished."

Truthfully, he simply had to wait until his magical items had recharged, but that was a detail she didn't need to be privy to.

"Oh..." Mirajane uttered. Things were certainly not looking good. She had seen from Freed's Jutsu Shiki barrier that Erza had lost not too long ago along with Natsu. As things stood now there only hope resided in Bambietta, Candice, Liltotto, Lucy, Cana, Bisca and Rukia. Strong wizards to be certain, but against Laxus...

Mirajane promptly shook her head. No, I shouldn't be thinking like that. Laxus might be strong, but they are still members of Fairy Tail. I just have to have hope that they'll be able to pull this off.

After all, as things stood...Hope was one of the few things she had left.

"Useless fools, the lot of them."

Emberella was not pleased. Today was supposed to have been a glorious day, one in which she would wound up as the true leader of Fairy Tail. All as a part of her grand plan to eventually topple the magic council. She had initially planned to start small, gathering a bunch of smaller, less known guilds under her thrall until she moved onto bigger targets, but Fairy Tail's unexpected intervention had made it clear that they were a threat who needed to be dealt with immediately.

At first, things had gone remarkably well. Phantom Lord's attack on the guild had given her the right opportunity to earn the trust of one of the guilds most powerful mages, Laxus Dreyer. After that, slowly worming her magic around his mind had been a slow, yet effective route. She had even gotten him to bring in dark guilds and the like under their command. Sure, Candice Catnipp had almost ruined the plan completely by convincing Laxus otherwise, but she had been able to nip that problem in the bud. All she was supposed to do now was simply wait for her and Laxus's plan to bring the guild to its knees.

Except it hadn't.

Oh, initially it had seemed that everything was going according to plan, but once Liltotto had managed to defeat Evergreen, things began to fall apart fast. Bickslow, Joshua and John, and Freed had all been defeated. Even the Espada, the S class equivalent Noches and Hirata had been defeated. It was absurd! Victory was supposed to be in the palm of her hands, yet here she was teetering on the edge of defeat.

But most infuriating of all was that Jade, her adopted daughter, wasn't even here. While she was far from the most powerful ally she had, Emberella knew that her strength and illusions could have easily turned the tide and forced those damn Quincy to fight one another. Instead, they had all but decimated their forces.

Had she gotten cold feet and simply abandoned her? She knew the young woman was having some doubts about the whole ordeal, but Emberella was positive that her loyalty would have remained firm. But now…

"You ungrateful child. I'll be sure to punish you once I -" Emberella's eyes widened before she took a deep breath then as she tried to calm herself. "No, no. Calm down. Her train was probably held up. No need to punish the poor thing for something she can't control. "

Sure, Jade could have sent her a message or something, but no doubt she was trying to just push the whole thing out of her mind until she arrived. Well, it didn't matter. She could scold her once she finally arrived. In the meantime, she had work to do.

"Well, you know the old saying." Emberella said as she began to leave Kardia Cathedral. "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

"I swear to God, when I find Laxus I'm going to kick him so hard in the dick he won't ever be able to have kids!"

"Cana, I know you're mad. Trust me, I get it. But you need to calm down."

"Laki's right. Going into a fight blinded by rage is one of the worst things you can do. Please, calm yourself."

The unlikely trio of Cana, Laki and Rukia were currently making their way towards Kardia Cathedral. While Rukia and Laki had expended some of their power from battles prior, the both of them had managed to recover most of that lost strength, whereas Cana was entering the fray completely fresh.

The plan was simple. Gang up against Laxus and hit him as hard and fast as they could. Despite her bravado, Cana was well aware that only Makarov, Gildarts, Erza, Mystogan, and the newly motivated Mirajane could have a prolonged battle with the lightning mage. Still, if they could hit him with everything they had off the gate…

"I really don't think this is the best idea," Laki told Cana, with a slight hint of worry in her voice. "I mean I know we outnumber him three to one, but Laxus is one of the strongest people in the guild. I really don't know what we're going to pull off here."

Cana scoffed at Laki's words. "Look I know how strong that prick is more than anyone else here. Franky I'm expecting to get our asses handed to us. But if we can hurt him even a little bit, then that should give the other's a better chance at taking him down!"

Admittedly, this plan had made much more sense to her when Erza was still in the running, but with her having been taken out of the game prematurely. For now, she would just have to hope that Bambietta and the others could pick up the slack in Erza's place.

Rukia nodded. "I think Cana has the right idea. Even if we can't defeat Laxus, any damage we can inflict on him will be helpful in allowing the others a chance to take him down. I'll prepare a full incantation of bakudo sixty-one before we hit him with everything we have."

"Well, that's not a half bad strategy. How unfortunate that you'll never get the chance to execute it."

The three women turned their heads as they heard the feminine voice, along with the distinct sound of heels clacking against the road as Emberella strutted towards them, a small smirk adorning her face. "After all, I plan on defeating the rest of you all by myself."

Cana glared at the approaching mage as she reached for her cards. "Well, if it isn't the woman behind that Chicken Fang fiasco me and the other's had to fix a while back. I'll tell you right now, attacking Fairy Tail is a big mistake if you want some payback."

Emberella chuckled. "Payback? Well, I suppose I won't deny that has something to do with this, but more than anything else your guild fulfills the requirements of what I need more than any other. Your intervention in Chicken Fangs simply pushed my attempt on your guild a few years early. Nothing more."

(Song of choice: Sakkaku, Bleach Hellverse)

"Oh really? I'd like to see you try!" Laki declared before she knelt down and placed both of her hands on the ground. "Wood Make: The Damn of Shy Love!"

Multiple blocks of wood, each in the shape of some sort of sharp weapon burst out from under Emberella's feet. However, the dark mages smirk never left her as her body clad itself in a veil of fire, melting the wood as it came into contact with her flames. "Oh my. Here I thought that Gray was the only one who possessed Maker magic in the guild. I suppose I'll have a use for you when this is all over."

Emberella's eyes began to glow yellow as small flames sparked around her eyes. "Frenzied Flame: Searing Eyes."

Her eyes shot out a burst of flame that seemed to dance around the battlefield, scorching the road where it traveled. Laki created a wooden barrier as the flames approached, but the moment the flames made contact, the barrier was completely incinerated. Laki gasped as the flames were about to strike her, but before they could, she felt a pair of hands around her waist before she saw herself leap from the ground. She looked around to find out just who had picked her up in the nick of time, only to find that the one carrying her was none other than Rukia.

"Thanks for the save, Rukia!" Laki thanked her as her comrade let her down.

Rukia smiled. "Think nothing of it. It's the least I could do for a fellow member of the guild," She then turned around before she placed her hands together. "Bakudo # 4: Hainawa!"

A crackling yellow rope of energy shot out and around Emberella. However, the flames that surrounded Emberella quickly melted the magical ropes, the mage smirking at the shinigami. "Is that all? I was expecting more."

"Then how's about this!?" Cana shouted as she tossed several cards at Emberella, which shot out several Burt's of water at her. "The Prayers Fountain!"

Emberella leapt over the attack before she landed elegantly on her feet. "Ah yes. Cana Alberona. Your card magic's versatility is why you've been recommended for the S class Exam so many times. At least from what Laxus told me. You'll also make a fine addition to my plans."

"As if!" Cana retorted as she tossed several more cards at Emberella. However, the mage simply waved her left hand at the incoming cards, and a wave of fire blasted out, incinerating them and forcing Cana to duck underneath the attack.

"Wood Make: The Distance Between the Two is Forever!"

Emberella turned around as a barrage of wooden fists and feet hurtled towards her. However, she simply raised up her right palm and stopped one of the wooden fists before she calmly uttered her next spell.

"Frenzied Flame: Blast of Madness."

A blast of yellow fire, akin to that of a laser, fired out and destroyed the remaining wooden limbs as Laki rolled out of the way, just narrowly avoiding the strike. Emberella crossed her arms then before she shook her head.

"Come now. So far, I've only had to move once. I thought you Fairy Tail mages were supposed to be-"

"Bakudo # 9, part one, Geki!"

Emberella's entire body was covered in a mysterious red aura. She turned her head towards Rukia before she smirked. "Do you really think something like this will be enough to hold-"

However, it seemed Rukia was far from finished as she began to chant. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat! Bakudo # 9, part 2, Horin!"

Pointing her middle and index finger at Emberella, Rukia shot out an orange tendril with a spiraling yellow pattern at Emberella, with the energy construct binding her limbs together tightly.

"Cana, now!" Rukia called out to her friend before Cana ran towards them for, as she drew out three cards before s green magic circle emerged.

"Thunderbolt's Fate!"

Two lightning bolts blasted Emberella as the Kido spell held her in place. She grunted through the pain as she glanced at the Brunette. "Not bad, but this won't -"

"Wood Make: Violent Approach!"

A large wooden spiked ball shift towards Emberella at high speed and slammed into her body, sending her through a nearby building and leaving a massive hole where it had struck her.

Cana looked over at Laki before she smiled. "Well, that's a new one. Since when did you make that one?"

"After Phantom Lord, I didn't want to be taken out so easily like I was when Jose stepped up." Laki answered her. "Still, it's only thanks to you two I was able to get a good hit in."

Rukia shook her head. "Don't worry about it. We're a team, so it's only natural that we rely on one another to take an enemy out. Still, we need to be careful. I doubt that attack was enough to take her down. We should -"

However, before Rukia could finish, a ball of flame slammed into Laki, forcing her to scream in agony before she fell to the ground.

"Laki!" Cana and Rukia called out as they tried to rush to their comrades' aid. Cana quickly took out several cards that conjured water to smother the flames, but the damage was already done. Laki's stomach was covered in severe burns, the bespectacled woman panting and groaning with pain. Rukia quickly went to work to heal what damage age could before Emberella's voice called out to them.

"Well, that one wasn't a half bad attempt. I actually felt that one a little."

The two of them turned towards the build they had sent Emberella through as she walked through the building. Her dress was a little bit scoffed, and her lower lip was bleeding slightly, but aside from that, she was completely unharmed. She dusted off her dress then as she stepped out of the building. "But if that's the best you can do, then I don't have anything to worry about."

Cana let out a scream of anger as she pulled out more cards from her pouch. "I'm going to make you pay for what you did to Laki!" She shouted before she jumped into the air.

"Winds Edge!"

A massive wave of wind hurtled towards Emberella, but the fire mage leapt over the attack before a flaming bow formed into her hands. She pulled the flaming string back as an arrow of flame formed in the bow before she took her shot.

"Frenzied Flame: Blistering Arrow."

Before Cana knew what had happened, a flaming arrow pierced her stomach, forcing her to cough up some blood before she fell to the ground. The brunette tried to get up despite the searing pain on her stomach, but Emberella slammed her heel down on Cana's head, cracking the ground underneath.

"Oh please. There's no point in trying to fight me with a wound like that. Why don't you just grovel on the ground, and I might show you mercy?" Emberella asked as she ground her heel more into the back of Cana's head.

Cana screamed as she felt the pain onto her head, but she grabbed onto Emberella's ankle before she glared at her. "Go…to hell! It'll take a lot more than this to make me give up!"

Emberella frowned as she narrowed her eyes at the brunette. "You wish to be stubborn? Fine. Don't say I didn't give you a way out."

"Dance, Sode no Shiryayuki!"

Emberella turned around just in time as she blocked a pure white blade with her right hand as it slowly covered with ice as Rukia's eyes bore into Emberella's "Oh? Finally decided to use your zanpaktou's true power?" Emberella asked her.

"Get off of her!" Rukia demanded before she pointed her right hand at Emberella's head as her index finger glowed. "Hado # 4: Byakurai!"

Emberella had only just barely managed to duck under the Kido spell before she slammed a flaming fist onto Rukia's chest, sending her back several feet. The dark mages smirked as she stepped off of Cana before she slowly made her way towards Rukia.

"Well, maybe you'll actually make for a decent warm up. Come on then-" Emberella said before she stretched her hands out, each of them burning with the yellow flame. "Show me what a shinigami can do."

Rukia appeared right in front of Emberella as she swung her sword downward, forcing the dark mages to block with her left hand before she tried to swipe at Rukia's face. Her strike was true as her flaming fingers seared the right side of Rukia's cheek, forcing her to cry out in pain.

Rukia was far from unfamiliar with fighting through such pain and swung her zanpaktou at Emberella's shoulder. Ice formed around her right shoulder and neck as the blade made contact, but Emberella simply smirked before the Ice melted almost instantly.

"Oh my, that was rather chilly. Were you trying to give me a case of the cold or something?"

"What!?" Rukia exclaimed. She hadn't been expecting her zanpaktou's power to be overpowered so casually. She leapt back then as she took up a stance as Emberella slowly walked towards her.

"If Ice is your sword's ability, then you may as well surrender," Emberella told her. "My flames are capable of incinerating Titanium in an instant when I get serious. What do you possibly expect your poultry ice to do in comparison?"

Then, before Rukia could give some sort of answer, Emberella had appeared right in front of her with a burst of flame and slammed her knee into her stomach. Rukia cried out in pain before Emberella gave her a powerful backhand, sending her through a lamppost and rolling across the ground as her left cheek was left with a searing handprint.

"Stings, doesn't it?" Emberella asked as she approached. "My Frenzied Flame magic is special in that its flames allow the damaged nerves to send pain throughout the victim's body. It comes in quite handy when I want to leave them utterly helpless."

Her smirk transformed then into a nasty grin as her lips curled upwards even more. "Now then...let's see just how much pain a shinigami can withstand!"

Emberella dashed forward towards Rukia just as she brought up her zanpaktou to block the incoming flaming jab, only for Emberella to slam her knee on Rukia's chin, sending her up into the sky before she formed her flaming bow and took aim.

"Frenzied Flame, Blistering Arrow."

The arrow shot forward towards Rukia, the petite shinigami blocking the strike with her sword, only for two more to follow it up, with one of them piercing her right shoulder, and the other her left waste.

Rukia cried out as she crashed to the ground. The pain was unbelievable, but ever the fighter, Rukia still tried to get to her feet. However, just as she raised up her head to look at Emberella, the dark mages was already gone. Sensing for her reiatsu, Rukia gasped as she looked up above her as Emberella floated in the air as she cocked back her left hand which held a large fireball in its clutches.

"Frenzied Flame: Sweltering Pitch."

The fireball was tossed Rukia's way, but the shinigami had not been idle as she had swung right underneath Emberella before she calmly uttered her attack.

"Some no mai, Tsukishiro!"

A large piller of ice erupted up from the ground, freezing both Emberella's flaming orb, and Emberella herself as they were completely encased in ice. For a moment, Rukia let out a sigh of relief, praying that the battle was over…. only for the top of the piller to burst with flame.

Oh no! Rukia dreaded as all her ice quickly began to melt before her very eyes as Emberella landed. The dark mages looked quite cross, her smirk having been replaced with a frown and narrowed eyes.

"I'll have you know, that was quite uncomfortable," Emberella spat before she used the flames at the soles of her feet to appear right in front of Rukia before she clenched her hand around Rukia's throat, choking her. "Allow me to return the favor."

Rukia struggled to breath as she felt her windpipe tightening more and more. She tried to pry herself free by kicking at Emberella's stomach, and clawing at Emberella's wrist, but no matter what she tried it was to no avail.

Emberella's smirk only grew. "Don't worry, I don't plan on killing any of you. After all, you'll be far more useful to me as pawns than as a corpse."

"What…are you…talking about?" Rukia choked out. "We'd…never work for…the likes of you."

Emberella's grip only tightened, forcing Rukia into silence. "Oh, your consent was never a factor for my plans. Soon your entire guild will -"

"Let her go! Icicle!"

Just as Emberella turned her head around towards the voice, her body was slammed by four large projectiles made of ice. The fire mage was pushed back a few feet, letting go of Rukia in the process before she glared at a panting Cana. "Oh? You can still fight? Consider me impressed."

Cana panted as she took a weak step forward. "I…told you, didn't I? It's going to take…a lot more than this to take me out of a fight."

Emberella chuckled at the brunette's bravado. "How tenacious of you. You've certainly got guts; I'll give you that. But do you really think you can defeat me? Let's face the facts, if the three of you couldn't defeat me together, then what do you think you can do all by yourself?"

"That's…where you're wrong." Cana spoke as Rukia along with Laki slowly rose up to their feet. "As long as we're in this guild, we're never alone!"

Laki pressed her hands to the ground despite her wounds before a massive magic circle emerged below Emberella. "Wood Make: The Dam of Shy Love!"

Emberella leapt over the wooden weapons as they sprang out of the ground, smirking. "I've already seen that spell. Did you really think I'd -"

"Hado # 73: Soren Sokatsui!"

Two blasts of blue fire shot towards Emberella. Her eyes widening from the power of the attack, Emberella proceeded to counter with an attack of her own as her eyes glowed a dark yellow.

"Frenzied Flame: Searing Eyes!"

Blue and yellow flames clashed in midair, the two flames seeming to be equal in strength. However, Emberella raised back her right arm as she prepared to add another spell to the mix. "Not a bad attack, but I-"

"Summoned Lightning!"

Drawing out three cards, Cana had summoned a dozen small, yet very potent, green bolts of lightning around Emberella. The blast struck her, shocking the dark mage as she let out a loud scream. However, with her concentration now broken, Rukia's Soren Sokatsui was able to overwhelm her attack, and slammed right into Emberella, generating a large explosion in the sky above.

The three Fairy Tail mages panted as they fell to their knees, each of them feeling the extent of their injuries before they glanced at one another.

"Please, please tell me that did the trick," Cana asked Rukia as she looked over to the shinigami.

"Yeah, I'm not gonna lie…I'm completely spent after all that," Laki add, the wood mage finding it next to impossible to move.

Rukia for her part narrowed her eyes as she tried to sense for Emberella's reiatsu. However, just as she was about to properly answer, something crashed to the ground between the three of them. It was Emberella, with the right side of her forehead bleeding and her dress slightly torn.

Rukia gasped before she tried to reach for her zanpaktou, but Emberella kicked Rukia to the ground before she dug her heel into Rukia's stomach, forcing her to scream out as she could feel her ribs beginning to crack.

(Song of choice: Lucifers Dance, Part B Bleach Hellverse)

"Those last two attacks actually hurt, I'll have you know," Emberella spat. Cana tried to take out some more cards, but Emberella slammed her heel on Rukia's chest even more, electing a more pained scream. "Don't even try it, Cana. Not unless you want the death of this one on your conscience."

Cana gaped at Emberella's words before she gnashed her teeth. "I thought you said that you weren't going to kill us?"

Emberella shrugged. "I'd rather not, but if killing Rukia will serve as an example for what I'll do to those who are too stubborn to stand down, then so be it. Now, what will it be?"

Cana's body began to shake with anger, her own fists clenching before she finally looked away. She was almost completely out of magic, having placed a large portion of her magical power into her last spell. Even if she wanted to keep on fighting, and she most certainly did, she knew that she was on her last legs. To risk Rukia's life in such a condition was foolhardy, and she knew it. "I…"

"Cana, no, you can't give up!" Rukia shouted at her. "Forget about me and hit her with everything you've got!"

"Are you crazy!?" Cana shouted at Rukia. "I could never just risk your life like that!"

Rukia shook her head. "I'm not like you or Laki, I'm an artificial soul. I'm not supposed to even exist. If my life needs to be lost in order for Fairy Tail's safety then I'll gladly die for it! As far as I'm concerned, the guilds safety is far more important than my own-"

"You're wrong!" Cana cried out as shook her head, tears flowing from her eyes. "I can't do that! I can't! I don't care if you're an artificial shinigami or whatever it is! You're still part of the guild! Even if we stopped Laxus, we'd still consider it a loss if we lost you! So don't tell me that your life doesn't have any meaning, because it does!"

Emberella rolled her eyes at the situation playing out before her eyes. "What a touching little speech. It's almost enough to make me shed a tear. It appears this guild truly does care for its individual members as much as I heard." Emberella said before she took her heel off of Rukia's chest…only to then pick her up with her right hand, while her left clad itself in fire. "But now I have to wonder…how would your guilds morale handle the death of one of its members? I presume you'd all fall to pieces before Laxus and I took the rest of you out."

"No, don't!" Cana screamed as she tried to run towards Emberella, only for her to point her left hand at Cana and fired off a fireball at her feet which spread into a flaming circle, leaving her completely trapped.

"You stay right there," Emberella said with a smirk as her eyes bore into Rukia's tired ones. "And watch as my flame smothers the life out of this shinigami."

Then, before Cana could plead for Rukia's life, Emberella's fire engulfed the shinigami in her hand. Rukia let out a scream of complete and utter anguish as she struggled in Emberella's hand, clawing and kicking at her as best she could, until her struggles began to slow, and then finally…lay limp in Emberella's grasp.

"RUKIA!" Cana cried out as tears flowed from her eyes while Laki could only watch on helplessly as she began to weep as well. How on earth had it come to this? This was supposed to be a day where they celebrated the harvest festival, one of the best days of the year! So how had everything gone so wrong so fast? Rukia was dead, and the guild would never be the same as a result.

Emberella smirked as she looked at the charred corpse in her hand. "It looks like I was right. It seems as if Fairy Tail's morale can't stand if it loses one of its members," She then glanced down towards Laki as she grinned. "Now then, I suppose I'll let Laxus know about this new change in strategy. If the guild doesn't surrender after Rukia's death…then I'll simply kill you next."

It was a shame to lose such a capable fighter, admittedly, but if that's what it took to get them to give in…then so be it.

However, as she glanced over to the burnt corpse in her hand, Emberella's eyes widened as she noticed the body was no longer in her hands. Almost instantly her mind ran a mile a minute, trying to figure out what had just transpired. What!? Impossible! I felt her in my grasp just a few seconds ago! There's no way someone could have taken her without my knowing!

"What's wrong? Looking for something that's not there?"

Emberella slowly turned toward the familiar voice as Rukia was placed down on the ground by her sudden rescuer. She was fairly injured, minor burns now covering her body in various places, but alive. Emberella's eyes widened at the sight, before she turned her gaze upward, only for her surprise to reach even greater heightsas she saw just who had come in for the unexpected save.

Emberella scowled at the interloper, her fists clenched. "Explain yourself this instant. Just what do you think you're doing...Jade." She spoke with barely restrained vitriol.

Jade Ladro slowly turned around to face her, her hands reaching behind her back before she took out the guns from their holsters, before their eyes met.

"Something I should have done a long time ago…Emberella."

Meanwhile, below the basement of the Fairy Tail guild hall, the emperor of Bosco and leader of the New Wandenreich, Yhwach, made his way down a long spiral staircase. He smirked as he sensed Bambietta made her way towards her ultimate destination, Laxus's Dreyer. It seems that Royd Lloyd was able to trick them after all. Excellent. Now I should be able to continue without being interrupted by any…unwanted guests.

As he finally made his way to the bottom of the staircase, the Quincy monarch found a large, ruined, yet still somehow majestic room made with stone and marbel, the Fairy Tail emblem carved throughout its interior along with various decaying banners. Towards the very end of the room there lay a double wooden door, sealed off with a Glyph that floated in front of it. It was a seal of immense power, even greater than Freed's Jutsu Shiki. Impossible to bypass.

Well, impossible for most.

Despite this well-crafted spell meant to keep intruders at bay, it meant little to Yhwach as he placed his hand over the Glyph and absorbed the ethernano making up its structure, taking the magic within himself in an instant before he slowly began to open the door. Slowly did the archaic doors open, revealing a small naked blonde woman sealed within a massive lacrima.

Yhwach smirked as he slowly strode inside of the room, making his way over to the massive crystal. Everything he had done in Magnolia up until now had been for this one exact, precise, moment. Fighting E.N.D, witnessing the power of the other special war powers? While all of it was ultimately informative and of great importance, his true plan was finally about to set itself into motion.

"Lumen Histoire…No, Fairy Heart. A source of infinite magic. Even someone like myself can't help but respect such a power," His hand reached out towards the crystal as he stared at the woman's closed eyes. "However, even such vast magic is nothing more than a foundation stone for my pla-"

However, just before he could touch the lacrima, a barrier of light erected itself around the crystal, Yhwach's hand bouncing off it as it lightly burned his skin as he yanked his hand back, his eyes narrowing at the newly created barrier. "This is…"

"Enough. I can no longer sit back and allow you to do as you please, Son of Reio."

Yhwach slowly turned around then as none other than the one for bringing Bambietta into this world, Sylphia Nelia Labile, strode forward, her gaze stern and filled with determination before she pointed her long scepter towards him. "I will not allow Fairy Heart to fall into your vile hands." Her power began to billow out then, as the ground beneath her began to shake and shudder. "Turn back now…or I will stop you myself."

To most, she would have been seen as nothing more than a mere woman, but Yhwach knew better than that. No, the woman right before him was one that even the feared and reviled Zeref paled in comparison to. A woman whose strength was even greater than that of the combined forces of the Schutzstaffel. It was only due to lack of more information on her combat ability from the knowledge he had stolen from the God of Knowledge, Orez, and the lack of appearances she had during any of his foresight in his nightly visions of the future that she had not been included amongst the special war powers.

And that may well soon be proven to have been a mistake on his part, for he did possess at least some knowledge of the woman before him.

Yhwach smirked as he turned to face the newest arrival, his own power increasing in response to her own. "Ah, I was wondering when you would show up, Goddess of Comradery. Or perhaps I should call you by your original title. Sylphia Nelia Labile: The First Wizard."

So, there you have it. Three massive cliffhangers for things yet to come. On the one hand, we have the conclusion to the Jade and Emberella subplot, something that has been brewing ever since chapter 44. Trust me now when I say that I worked very hard on it for it to come out as action and drama filled as possible.

And on the other hand, clone Grimmjow has gone over to Edolas, so…he's going to be gone for a bit. Also yes, Mystogan and Mirajane are now out of the running, just to be perfectly clear.

But…I think I know what you're all REALLY invested in. The build up to the climactic showdown of the century.

Yhwach, the Father of all quincy, Vs Sylphia, the first Wizard.

I bet none of you could have ever imagined that Sylphia, the one who is technically responsible for Bambietta being her in the first place, was such an important historical figure for Earthland. I've actually had this idea for a LONG time now, (Well before 100 year quest was even a thing actually) so I've been wanting to reveal this twist for a LONG time.

(Also, BTW even if Fairy Tail100 year quest does ever decide to reveal who the first mage is, I'm just going to ignore it for the purposes of this story.)

Now, what exactly do I mean by Sylphia being the first Wizard? Well, I'll give the most apt and simple comparison that I can. You know the Sage of Six Paths from Naruto...yeah, think that but for Fairy Tail. Needless to say, she is extraordinarily powerful, enough so that I believe that the fight between her and Yhwach will be a spectacle that will leave you speechless...in May.

Yeah, the battle between the two of them will take place in chapter 96, so cool your horse's, it's not going to happen in the next two chapters. Trust me when I say, in terms of escalation, that it's for the best. I just didn't wish to leave this reveal in chapter 95 because then I knew there was a good chance that all of the reviews would just focus on that aspect of the chapter. Thus, I decided it was for the best to simply move it here.

However, I still have plenty of hype coming soon for you guys, and let me tell you, some of the best fights in this story have yet to come.

For now, please let me know what you all think about this twist in the reviews, along with the upcoming battle with Jade and Emberella. I'm just dying to hear more and to get your reactions on this.
