Saphira was really feeling quite nervous and excited. She had just attached her new badge to her shirt. It was not a name badge, which was good, but it was just a simple, brass badge with a carving of Freddy with the word Security on it. It wasn't the best badge, because it was hard to see, but Saphira accepted it regardless. She had her new flashlight and set of keys on the desk for the moment, knowing she will need them. Especially the keys, since she did not know which key was which yet, so it would take a bit of time before she would get used to them.

"Now that you have your essentials, I am just going to go over a few, simple things that is required of you each night." Saphira nodded affirmatively as she listened to Mike with clasped hands. The man smiled kindly at the girl, as he could tell she was nervous. "When you arrive each night, you'll be expected to go through the backdoor…" Mike points to the door then gestured left in the direction of the backdoor. "I'll show you which key to use. You can come through the front entrance, but it is best you go through the back.

Saphira understood, even if she would love to just walk through the restaurant while it was busy. "Understood. I would only use the front door if there is a good reason…not sure what that would be though. The lot the building is sitting on is flat."

Mike chuckled softly. "That might be true, but right outside the backdoor is a dirt spot that gets extremely slippery and sloppy during any kind of rain or snow. In winter, you'll likely go through the front entrance most of the time, so that is not a problem." Saphira also knew she would want to stand in the warmth before the winter cold sets in on the place. "Alright, after arriving, you can just make yourself comfortable. Night guards don't usually interact with the guests, as the other staff can handle minor issues just fine. So just find something to do, like cleaning your desk and taking the time to check the cameras in case there is any guest who decides to sneak into the staff areas around closing time. That does tend to happen, especially by teenagers."

"That does not seem to surprise me. I'm still a teenager, and it does not make sense to me that anyone would want to sneak behind the scenes of any place where only staff should be allowed. No one ever knows the dangers of the staff only areas." The man chuckled lightly, agreeing with the girl's words. "There could be dangerous chemicals, forklifts moving around, pellet jacks being used and so on. So yeah, I will definitely be on the look out for them."

"Good. You have a mature head on your shoulders, I like to see that." Mike was definitely pleased with that, and Saphira was happy he was pleased. "That's pretty much the only thing to worry about until after the restaurant closes. We close at ten every night, except Halloween, but it will be after the other staff have left when you have to start doing your rounds of the building. Aside from the front and back entrance you have seen, we do have the loading dock, a small delivery door for the kitchen and the bar as well. Your job is to ensure all of those have been locked properly once the staff have left." That seemed simple, though it would mean she could explore the attraction if she wanted to. "After that, you can check the different areas of the attraction. The cameras don't cover every spot, and blind spots are not unusual."

Saphira smiled as she definitely was looking forward to being able to check the place, even if it was part of her job. She would get to see everything that was here, and see what might be new that had not been here when she used to come here, and if she could see any visual plans for new areas of the building. There was still a lot of room for the owner to expand on, so it will be exciting to see any further additions to the attraction.

"Aside from that, you can just come back to the office to watch the cameras and keep a watch on the tablet. After midnight is when the systems can get funny, and you'll have to reboot them." Saphira nodded as she listened to him finish off what was required of her to do each shift. "And if something needs a quick mop or dustpan and brush, that will be very helpful as well." Mike hummed as he thought on what else she would need to do. "I think that is about it..."

"What about the procedure if I happen to spot someone breaking in? Or if I see them on the cameras?" Saphira asked curiously, even though she suspected calling the police was the procedure. "I doubt you expect me to confront anyone, if they seem to be carrying something."

Mike was not surprised by the question at all, as he knew that Saphira would want to know. "We do have a procedure. But…it is something you will actually have to learn about on your own." Saphira frowned in confusion, not knowing why he could not tell her. "The main reason why is because you won't believe me until you actually see and experience. It is partly the reason why the previous night guards left. Like I said, it can get to you." She was still quite confused as she did not know why he would avoid the question. "That's about everything…" He stood up from his chair and gestured to the door. "Grab your keys and flashlight, we are going to go for a walk."

Saphira grabbed both items and her jacket to slip on, though she would think she would not need the flashlight, but she figured it might be just as an in case sort of thing. "By the way, do employees get any special details about new animatronics, if they are on their way? I'm curious, because that would be quite fun."

"Of course! Everyone gets to know about the new animatronics. It does not happen very often, as I'm sure you know we haven't had new animatronics for years." Saphira smiled, as she was hoping that Mike would tell her if there were new animatronics for the Bedroom of Nightmares. Mike could see that in Saphira's face, and he chuckled lightly. "You want to know if new animatronics are going into the new section, don't you?" She nodded. "Well…there isn't anything confirmed yet, so I can't say yes or not right now." Saphira immediately felt unhappy about that, but she understood and would let it go for now. "Once I find out, I will be sure to tell you. But let's focus on the tour. First thing first, I'll show you which key to use for the backdoor." Saphira lifted the key ring as they step outside the office, and she looked towards the door. She noticed straight away that this door was heavily reinforced, as if it was designed to withstand something far stronger than a human punching it or slamming into it. That was an odd design choice, but Saphira did not commented. Mike gently reached over to grab and lift one of the keys. "This key here will be your way in."

Saphira took a hold of the key and Mike let it go so she could memorize the key. It was the largest of the keys on the key ring, so that made it easier for her to remember. She looked at the curiously again for a moment and she turned to face Mike. "Thanks, so where should we go first? I know right heads back into the main attraction, but what about the left direction? I know there is a door at the end of the hallway, but I suspect it heads to the loading dock."

"It is in the right direction." Mike stepped into the hallway to make his way left. "However, that door leads into a shorter hallway where a lot of the supply closest area. It is where we store most of our Christmas, Halloween and Fourth of July decorations, so people do not usually go back there often." Saphira followed the man as he walked up to the door and opened it, and Saphira flinched at how loud the squeal from the door was, as the sound echoed a little. But she didn't let it bother her. It was another dull hallway, but it slightly darker. "Not the best place to be honestly. It's often dusty here, so I hope you don't have any allergies to dust."

She shook her head with a smile. "Nope. I might sneeze a little if the dust tickles my nose, but that is about it. I have no dust allergies, and I know this place is dusty generally anyway." She glanced to the doors on the left side of the hallway as Mike opened the door at the end of the short hallway. It took had a loud squeal, but it didn't startle her this time. "You must have a bunch of moth balls around though. I can definitely smell that."

"Yeah, we do." Mike saw Saphira scrunching up her nose, as she hated the smell of moth balls, and he was a little amused. The next hallway they stepped into was longer, and had a curve to the right, so Saphira guessed that this was the way to the loading dock. Especially as the hallway was wider, and she saw some pallets around, and one pallet jack. "I'm sure you can tell, but we kind of use this as a storage area for large things. Usually pallets though, since we tend to move things quickly in this place. Always watch your step in here. You never know what the other staff might leave behind."

Saphira looked around at the hallway as she wondered what was delivered to the attraction regularly. She knew food would be the most likely thing that would be delivered all the time, but she wondered what else. But it was good to know that she would have to be careful down this hallway. There were not any doors along this hallway, but there were some shelves on the walls as they walk through the hallway. With it no windows, it did feel dark. And it was colder here, so there didn't seem to be any kind of insulation, which was somewhat understandable being the back area.

"At least it seems relatively tidy here."

"It might seem that way, but don't be fooled. It can get very cluttered in here, no matter how many times I remind them to keep it clear." Mike looked around with a slight frown, as he was unimpressed with the many pellets around on the floor that were not stacked and were on an angle, making them obvious tripping hazard. "I find myself tripping on these more often than I care to admit. Looks like I will be having another chat tomorrow."

Saphira could imagine how frustrating it would be to constantly remind employees to do their job, and they still don't get it right. She wondered if the restaurant went through workers for the back area regularly or not, but that wasn't something that she would be worried about. She knew that those employees would have a harder job than what she would be doing, so they probably just want to end the day and go home most of the time anyway. She would be mindful when walking through here, a and she could see her flashlight being useful as well. Especially as they rounded the hallway, and she saw extinguishers on the ground with a couple crowbars and a hammer.

"I can see why you talk to them." Saphira looked at Mike as she could see he was fuming a little about the loose tools. "I suppose it will be partly my responsibility to put things back where they were."

"Yes. But those extinguishers are on the ground because one of the idiots destroyed the extinguisher cases a few days ago, so we are waiting for them to be replaced." Mike huffed as he stepped closer. "And they forgot to put the 'Do Not Use' tags on them…" He shook his head and continued to walk, and Saphira saw a large opening at the end with a roller door that was currently up, leading into a large space that was clearly the loading dock, with a forklift parked in the driveway. "As for the tools, they do have a place, but I think you should just leave them for the moment, Saphira. I will deal with it tomorrow."

Saphira fully understood as they walk into the back dock. She smiled as she saw that the back dock was quite large, it had two roller doors, with the forklift in front of one of them. The forklift was also on a slightly lower level, with a ramp leading to the hallway and there seemed to be more room for storage, as she saw shelves with dry goods and cleaning items sitting on them. She guessed this is also where the animatronics would be brought in. Saphira did wonder if the animatronics were already turned on when they arrive here. That would be an interesting fact to learn about.

"As you can see, this is the loading dock. Plenty of space for the forklift, and we have enough storage here…and it is cleaner here too, as you can tell." Saphira nodded and Mike turned to walk towards a side door. "This is the door you will need to check, along with making sure all the roller doors are down properly. You can see the door controls on the wall." She nodded as she understood while walking closer to the door. "Alright, that very bright, silver key will be the one for this door, Saphira. You will find you will probably have to lock it each night…" Mike tested the door, and it was open slightly. He pulled it shut and locked it with his own key. "As per usual…luckily, people don't usually come through this door when they sneak in."

"I hope they are good workers in other areas," Saphira said with a light chuckle. "Sounds like that they just forget the smaller things."

"Yeah, they are good workers. And they still drive me insane." Mike chuckled softly and walked away from the door. "Alright, there are three entrances into the back dock here. Over right across here…" He pointed towards the door on the opposite side. "That just leads into the dishwashing room, and you will always need to check the floor. There might be a leak from one of the machines or faucets, even though the room is not big. From there, it leads into the kitchen, starting from the salad and desert side before moving to the other side where we have most of the pizza ovens, along with grills and such. That is where the food for most areas is prepped cooked. You might be lucky to find leftovers, as there tends to be a lot regularly, which is good for you."

Saphira was actually happy about that. It would mean she would not need to bring her own food, but she would still bring a sandwich in case there wasn't something she liked. "That certainly sounds like a good idea. I don't like wasting food."

Mike was happy about that as that walk down the ramp slowly. "Nor do I. And the third way in is at the very back of the room…" He points right, and it took a moment for Saphira to see a door at the end of the room. "That leads into another small staffroom, that is connected to the main dining area, and the first aid room."

"First aid room?" Saphira raised an eyebrow in surprise. "There's a room for first aid now?" The man nodded affirmatively. "Good. There used to just be like a kiosk when I used to come here. I am not sure why, because there were many times kids would puke all over the nurse. I always felt bad for them when that happened."

"Yeah…I remember that too." The man shuddered in disgust. "That is why I knew I had to build a room just for first aid. And we now have one, with two nurses, a private room with a bed and all the necessities that we need. If an ambulance is needed, it is quicker for them to come to the loading dock, since the room is very close."

"That was a very smart move. At least it will prevent the spread of germs, because I stayed clear from that first aid kiosk all the time. I knew it wasn't that clean, nor was it that clean around it." Saphira glanced towards the door at the back of the loading dock, before looking across. "So…since we are in a crossroads, which way shall we go now? Since you said that there was a small delivery door in the kitchen, I assume that is where we are heading."

Mike nods as he walked towards the door. "It is important for you to know and remember where every door is, Saphira. While the backdoor and front door are obvious, the others are not so obvious, so you need to remember them. This place is a lot bigger than you think. And it holds many secrets as well." She raised an eyebrow a little at that, though she doubted that meant a lot. "Anyway, how are you liking the tour so far?"

She snorted in amusement and shrugged. "We only just started, so I don't have much of an opinion. But I can tell you have improved things since I left. And I hope things keep getting better." The man's smile faltered a little, but she did not notice. "I honestly just can't wait to see everything at the moment, Mike. I really am grateful to be back. So, continue forward."

The man was amused by her response, even if his smile had faltered before. This was the first night guard he was giving a tour to who was actually enthused about the job. But he knew the reason why, so he did not question it. He opened the door into the dish washing room, and Saphira was met with a very humid, stuffy room. The scent of dishwashing liquid filled her nostrils, and she saw there were several employees working in the room, and she saw four wet floor signs in the room. She did see it was a large room, with plenty of space for people to work in with dishwashers, a large dish dryer and several sinks that were used to rinse and scrub dishes, fry pans, and such. It was very in here, and both Mike and Saphira were moving carefully to ensure that they did not get in the way of the employees.

Mike gave them all a nod of acknowledge before moving towards the door into the kitchen, which instead of a door, there was a plastic curtain in the way, there likely has seen better days. It was covered in a lot of mist and grime, though it was hard to tell. Especially as Mike parted the curtain and Saphira walked into a warm kitchen that was still running. She smiled, looking to her left to see the salad and desert team working on the different food. She knew that for a lot of the buffet areas, that the salads that were being prepped here were premade options for people to take. She knew that there was still the individual trays with lettuce, onions and such, but the premade salads looked good. And so did the desert.

The kitchen was very large too. Saphira found herself quite overwhelmed, given that they were still busy. But it did seem like they were working on shutting things down. Saphira knew that with it not being long until the restaurant closes to guests that they will be preparing to close things down. Some of the fryers and grills were already turned off, and they were only cooking things that were quick. Even some of the pizza ovens were off now, and they were only cooking and serving cheese and margherita pizzas, which were completely fine. But it was very loud.

Mike led her carefully between the counters to the far left side of the building to a yellow door. He leaned to Saphira to speak to her. "I am sure you can tell this is the door you need to check. It's unlocked right now, cause they still need to make trips to the dumpster at the back. But that bronze key is going to be the key for this door. Don't worry, it won't be so loud in here." Saphira nodded as she understood and turned to see there were four other exits. The three on the right wall connected to three dining rooms. Fredbear's, the main dining room, and the last seemed to lead to the Toy Plaza, which primarily served things like chicken nuggets, Freddy face pancakes and so on. She guessed the Phantom Mess Hall and the Chapel bar had it's own smaller kitchens, which made sense, since it was on the other side of the building. "Okay, I'll take you to the next place, and somewhere a lot quieter. I never understand how they can hear each other over all this noise."

Saphira did not either, but she did not respond, knowing that they could really only talk once they got out of the kitchen. She followed Mike so she would not get in anyone's way and so they could get out quicker. Though as they got closer to the next door, they stopped as several of the cooks walked through the door. They waited until they could get through, and Saphira did not even have to guess what this next spot was. But she was surprised to see a hallway, with a large dry good, walk in, several cool rooms to separate different food and a freezer for ice cream. It was quite organized, and she was impressed. And it was a lot quieter.

"At least the food smelt good," Saphira said with a chuckle, even though it did make her stomach grumble a little, and she was somewhat wishing that she didn't have to smell the food. "So where does this lead?"

"Currently, connected to the hallway by the Chapel. I am hoping to expand this part though, because we have been making over budget for a while, we I am of the belief that we should add another part right after the Bedroom of Nightmares. At the moment, that is still just in the plans, and nothing is solid yet." Mike opened the door, and Saphira felt the warmth envelop around her body. It was nice to feel, and she stepped onto the familiar black and white tiles. Though the walls were pink in this hallway, and she looked towards the Chapel. "We can go to the bar now."

Saphira looked at the large, double doors that would open up into the Chapel. The doors were a deep, dark, rose red with a cartoon sign of Chica and Toy Chica holding a large, pink heart together with the words Chica's Chapel written in golden, cursive writing. There was even pink glitter around the edge of the heart, and Saphira could tell it was inviting. And along the frame of the door were heart-shaped, pink LED lights that were flashing as well.

She was not really sure what to expect when walking through those doors, but she was glad she wouldn't see anything she didn't want to see. "I assume there are guests in there right now." Mike nodded as he walked towards the door. Saphira sighed deeply as she followed. "You haven't really explained the full area of this place to me, Mike."

Mike chuckled softly. "Well, I was vague. As I said, it is an adult only section, where rooms can be rented out by couples for the day. As I said, each room is designed after different animatronics, and it will probably be expanded when we get the new animatronics for the Bedroom of Nightmares." Saphira was definitely curious to see what the room designed after Springtrap would look like. It certainly would be unique. Mike pushed on the double doors, and Saphira was met with the smell of rose and lavender, and a very fluffy and soft ruby pink carpet. "This area is actually our most expensive area, believe it or not. Each of these rooms were expensive to make, and there is room for any other animatronics the boss decides to make too."

That certainly was a surprise, as Saphira looked around curiously. The walls were painted with a dark shade of purple, and there were crystal chandeliers above in the hallway, with six doors that led into different rooms. She guessed there were multiple hallways here, as she could see on the doors themselves the shapes of the different animatronics carved into them, and their names above with LED light letters for each door. Fredbear, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Golden Bonnie were the first six themed rooms she could see. She did not know if they were occupied currently, and she did not want to know.

As they walk towards the end of the hall, they were in a crossroads again, which led forward, left and right, with the other rooms either side and the bar ahead. Saphira could hear jazz music playing from the bar, and Saphira looked ahead at the stone, crystal bead curtain covering the door between the bar and bedrooms before she and Mike walked through the door, and Saphira looked around curiously at the bar. There were thirty tables here that were able to sit different size parties, and there were a couple people still eating.

While there were at least a dozen people at the bar itself, which was a black, polished, wooden counter top with the base of the counter with a silver, glitter mural with Chica, Toy Chica and Golden Bonnie silhouettes carved into the counter itself. There were a few lounges nearby, and a fake fireplace that was on. And, on top of that, there was a small water feature at the far end of the room. Saphira was surprised, as she had not expected that. But it was actually nice, as the running water really gave a different feel as well. There was also a statue of Chica and Toy Chica sitting on the stone, eight-layer fountain, with expressions that were seductive and lustful while holding a rose each.

"This certainly was not what I expected." Saphira looked around curiously, and she was glad no one suspected that she wasn't underage, since she was wearing the uniform. Mike walked towards the entry to a door that leads into the smaller kitchen. Saphira followed, and she saw that the cooks were cleaning their stations. It definitely was much smaller, probably just a tad bigger than the dishwashing room, and a lot less people. And the kitchen was newer too, and she saw that it had its own storage separate from the main kitchen. "What is the menu like here?"

The head chef, who was checking the stock, looked towards the girl with a smile and spoke to her. "It is fantastic!" Saphira looked at the middle-aged man in surprise and smiled at him. "Everything here is my art piece. We focus on seasonal menus here. Pasta is handmade every morning, and we carve our own fish direct from the market. Right now…" The man looked at his notes and looked back at Saphira with a smile. "We currently have some fresh tuna, mackerel and salmon, and we will be looking at some crab and mussel soon…and it is still venison season right now, so we will be continuing that. But we keep the menu small, so we don't overwhelm our customers."

Saphira really liked the sound of that. "Sounds quite nice. I imagine that a lot of people come here just for your food."

The man shrugged. "I would like to hope that the parents who come here after letting their kids run wild in the attraction do. But…considering some of the dishes are quite expensive too, that would have to be a special occasion thing."

"That makes sense. At least it is one extra reason to come here." Saphira looked over at the door Mike was standing by. "And I guess that is the door I have to check." The man nodded affirmatively.

"Don't worry, young lady…" She looked back at the chef as he spoke to her again. "I make sure to lock the door when I leave. We have to store the alchohol and proper cans of soda here, and I know that the head bartender also makes sure that the door is locked. Along with the alcohol cabinets too."

"I trust you. Plus, you also would have expensive meat and seafood, so I certainly would trust you. But it is part of my job. And I look forward to working with you all." The chef just shrugged and got back to checking his stock, and Saphira turned to Mike as he walked back over to her. "So…where to next?"

"Haunted Classroom." Saphira nearly froze as she had forgotten that they would have to go by it on the way to the Toy Plaza and main dining room. "I have to show you the Mess Hall's kitchen as well. They do have a side door, but they tend to get a lot of their necessary ingredients from the main food storage anyway. Only Toy Chica's bakery has its own small storage for flour, sugar and other ingredients, since they handmake the pastries and breads here, and that stuff is easy to store anyway." Saphira could not help but feel anxious suddenly, knowing they were about to go to the Haunted Classroom, and she knew Springtrap would be there. "I bet you can't wait to see the expansion."

Saphira nodded as they leave the kitchen to head back down the hallway to leave the area. "You are right. I am excited to see the new attractions you have added onto the place too. I know that it was not a massive place last night, but now I kind of imagine the attractions in an area where it's designed for play rather than school."

"Well, you aren't wrong. The corner they are in is often called Recess as a joke, even though there is no actual name for it. But it is kind of is designed as a play area for a school." She chuckled a little, even though Saphira was not that excited to see that. There was only one thing she wanted to see there, and that was Springtrap. And the phantom animatronics too. "But it is connected the Mess Hall, so they are kind of almost one in the same."

"That does sound pretty cool. I can't wait to see!" Saphira watched Mike push the doors open into the hallway again, and Saphira followed him. "And, Springtrap, would he be in the principal's office?"

"Yep. He's there all the time. He is the headmaster after all," Mike responded enthusiastically. "I bet you are itching to meet him again." Saphira nodded and the man chuckled at him. "Well, you will not have to wait for too long. Because this tour is only half done."

The man walked down the hallway with a skip in his step. Saphira couldn't really match the man's step, and that was fine. Saphira looked ahead at the end of the hallway that connected to a crossroad again, but with the withered, wooden doors on the left leading into the Haunted Classroom, and the right direction would lead to the Toy Plaza, and the Bedroom of Nightmares eventually. Knowing she would be seeing Springtrap again for the first time in ten years really made her really anxious and nervous to see him again. She didn't know why, but as a child, she believed all the animatronics to be alive. And because of that feeling, it was almost coming back to see an old friend. Even though Saphira did not expect him to remember her at all.
