As night was falling, Raya and Namaari arrived at the spot indicated by the guard, although it was a place they both knew very well.

"This place brings back bad memories." said Namaari.

It turns out that place was where Raya and Namaari tried to make peace for everyone's sake, but it ended with Namaari killing a special friend of theirs.

"You're not the only one, but now isn't the time to focus on it." said Raya.

"I know." said Namaari.

When they arrived, they looked around hoping to see any sign of Jaw or anything like that, but they saw nothing.

"There's no one here. Are you sure that guy saw something?" asked Raya.

"If not, why would he go to…?" asked Namaari before noticing something incoming. "Watch out!" shouted Namaari pouncing on Raya, both of them falling to the ground.

Looking to the side, they saw an arrow stuck right where Raya was standing before.

They quickly got up and drew their weapons.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" exclaimed Raya.

Soon after, several Jaw warriors emerged from the underbrush, all carrying weapons from swords, spears to crossbows.

"Greetings, lady Namaari. It is an honor to see you again." said a spear-wielding warrior.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but the feeling isn't mutual." said Namaari.

"That was to be expected. You can leave quietly, we just want to finish her off." said the warrior pointing his spear at Raya.

"Why? What did you manage to kill me?" asked Raya.

"We know of your story, Raya, princess of Heart. She who helped restore Kumandra. Someone like you poses an obstacle to our plans to bring a better future to Fang." said the warrior.

"A better future? Fang already has a better future by being part of Kumandra with the other kingdoms." said Raya.

"What would you know about Fang when you're not even from there?" asked the warrior.

"She does not, but I do and I won't allow you to ruin this kingdom for your ideals." said Namaari.

"It seems you are still not able to see it, but don't worry. Once we're done with your… friend, we'll be sure to make you open your eyes." said the warrior as the other warriors readied their weapons.

"You weren't lying about them being crazy." said Raya.

"Unfortunately." said Namaari.

Without hesitation, the two rushed to fight the warriors who rushed to fight them.

Raya dodged a spear attack before delivering a side kick that knocked the warrior down, but then raised her sword to block an incoming sword attack before pushing the warrior back and knocking him down with one blow.

Namaari knocked down a pair of warriors with her two swords before leaping to avoid two spears that crossed each other and while in the air, Namaari kicked them in the face that knocked them down.

For a while, the two kept up a good pace knocking down any warrior with the help of their skills, but the number of warriors was too much for the two of them.

It was then that the archers loaded their crossbows and shot towards the two girls, forcing them to duck to avoid being hit by them.

Now, with the arrows being shot, things got complicated for the girls, as they had to fight the warriors while avoiding the arrows.

Raya ducked to avoid an arrow before raising her sword to block a spear attack.

The two were in neutral until Raya deflected the spear to the side, which she took advantage of to strike the warrior and knock him down.

However, that left her open for a warrior to suddenly strike her, knocking her to the ground near the edge.

"Raya!" shouted Namaari worried for her friend.

Suddenly, she moved to the side to avoid an incoming arrow, but unfortunately, the warrior she was fighting took advantage of that to kick her in the stomach, knocking her to the ground next to her friend.

"It's a pity, it seems that befriending that girl has made you weaker." said the spear warrior.

"Don't talk about my friend like that." said Raya as she stood up with Namaari.

"If you want to kill her, you will have to kill me too." said Namaari.

"Under normal circumstances, we would, but we have orders to let you live, so…" began the warrior as the warriors pointed their weapons at them, leaving them completely cornered.

Raya and Namaari saw that they were in a very complicated situation, since in front of them they had an army of armed warriors and behind them they had a cliff that ended in the water.

As things stood, they had two options.

Either fight an army of several warriors or jump into the water to escape.

Unfortunately, both options ended with one or both possibly dead.

They were about to make a decision when suddenly something came flying through the air and passed in front of the first group of warriors, cutting off all their weapons in the process, much to their surprise.

They all watched the flying object spin through the air until it headed for someone's hand which revealed itself to be some sort of fan with sharp points.

"Mind if I join the party?" asked April.

Raya and Namaari were surprised to see her in that place and at that time and before she could say anything.

"Goongala!" shouted Casey arriving on the spot with his mask and then, he threw several explosive field hockey pucks that knocked down the warriors April disarmed and after that, Casey raised his mask to show his face. "It's not a party without Casey Jones present."

Raya's eyes widened in surprise at that.

"Now I remember! They were the ones who saved me that night! Wait, if they're here, then…" thought Raya.

The spear warrior was shocked at the appearance of those two people and a couple of seconds later, he went from surprise to frustration.

"I don't know who you are, but I recommend you to leave immediately." said the warrior.

"Sorry, buddy, but that's not going to happen." said April standing next to Raya and Namaari along with Casey.

"Yeah. Turns out we don't like bad guys and you have that written all over your mugs." said Casey.

"In case you haven't noticed, we outnumber and outgun you." said the warrior.

"Well, lucky for us, we didn't come alone, did we, guys?" asked April.

Suddenly, from the cliff jumped four humanoid figures that landed in front of Raya and Namaari.

It was then that everyone, except April and Casey, were shocked at what they saw as it was four humanoid turtles with masks and weapons.

Of all the people, Raya was the most shocked, as she hadn't expected her rescuers to be… that.

"What… What the hell are you?" asked the warrior.

"What a surprise. That's the first time they've asked instead of guessing what we are." said Raph.

"You don't know who we are, but we know who you are and what you're planning." said Leo.

"Yeah, man and we don't like it at all." said Mikey.

"So we can settle this by hook or by crook." said Donnie.

The spear warrior clenched his fist in frustration, for not only had two meddling young men appeared, but those strange creatures were also getting in the way of their mission.

"Kill them all!" shouted the warrior before the others rushed into battle.

"Well, looks like it's going to be the hard way." said Leo before he and the others readied their weapons and launched into battle.

"Goongala!" shouted Casey skating past the warriors to dodge their attacks as he swung at them with his field hockey stick and bat.

That's when an archer shot an arrow, but he dodged it before launching an exploding field hockey puck that knocked him down.

A warrior tried to attack him from behind, but Casey noticed him in time and spun around before touching him with his taser, electrocuting him in the process before he fell to the ground.

April used her tensen to block an incoming arrow before launching it and using her powers, she sent the fan flying like a frisbee towards the archers, disarming them in the process.

She then began to melee the warriors using the skills learned in her training.

She then saw several warriors running towards her, but April levitated them with her powers before sending them flying backwards.

Donatello swung his staff to deflect arrows before hitting an incoming warrior.

A warrior tried to attack him from behind, but Donnie swung his staff quickly to hit him without looking back.

He then used the staff to block a sword strike and the two remained in a stalemate until Donnie pulled the blade from the end of the staff, surprising the warrior, something he took advantage of to punch him in the face, knocking him down in the process.

"Booyakasha!" shouted Mikey lunging towards the warriors and hitting them with his nunchucks.

Suddenly, he ducked in a limbo-like manner to dodge an incoming arrow and when he stood up, he saw several archers aiming at him.

However, Mikey just smiled and threw a chain that wrapped around the waist of an archer, then, with a jerk, Mikey threw the archer into a collision with the others, knocking them all down.

Raph charged toward the warriors and was knocking them down with his own fists and sais.

Then a muscular warrior appeared and tried to smash him with his own fists, but Raph grabbed the fists with his hands and they remained in a neutral state until Raph, with a groan of exertion, pushed him back and before he could react, kicked him down.

He then dodged to the side to dodge a sword attack and when the warrior tried to attack him again, Raph grabbed the sword with his sais before pulling it away from the warrior's hands and knocking him down with one blow.

Leo nimbly moved between the warriors' attacks before using his katanas to knock them down.

He then crossed the katanas to parry an incoming sword and by swinging them like scissors, he cut the sword before kicking the warrior, knocking him down in the process.

He then charged towards the archers who shot their arrows, but he dodged them as he slashed and when he reached them, he took down as many as he could.

Raya and Namaari had stood on the sidelines the whole time, watching in awe as four humanoid turtles and two humans fought a group of warriors with ease using unknown abilities.

"So, are those the ones who saved you the night before?" asked Namaari.

"Yes." said Raya.

"Did you know they were talking humanoid turtles?" asked Namaari.

"No. I'm as surprised as you are." said Raya.

"Should we give them a hand?" asked Namaari.

"Sounds good to me." said Raya before the two girls drew their weapons and jumped into the fight.

Namaari used her swords to take down several warriors before moving to the side to dodge an incoming arrow.

One warrior tried to attack him, but Namaari blocked his weapon with one of her swords before striking him with the other, knocking him down in the process.

Another warrior charged towards her to attack her, but Namaari dodged his attack before giving him a kick that knocked him down.

Raya raised her sword high to block a spear attack from one warrior before stepping aside, causing the warrior to stumble, which she took advantage of to kick him in the back and knock him to the ground.

It was then that she swung her sword quickly to block an incoming arrow before charging towards the archer who tried to charge his crossbow, but Raya reached out and knocked him down.

Two warriors lunged at her with their swords raised, but Raya used her sword to block both attacks and with a thrust, she pushed them back a bit before she gave one a kick and the other a punch, knocking them both down.

April slid her leg through the legs of a warrior, causing him to fall to the ground and then used her tensen to disarm a pair of incoming warriors.

Suddenly, an archer shot an arrow at her, but Namaari jumped in the middle and blocked it with her blades.

"You have some strange friends." said Namaari.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." said April before using her powers to shoot down the archer.

"We'll talk later." said Namaari taking down another warrior.

Leo had just knocked down another warrior as a warrior approached from behind with his sword held high, but before anyone was going to do anything, Raya appeared and knocked the warrior down.

"So that's who you really are?" asked Raya.

"Yeah, it's a long story." said Leo knocking down a warrior.

"I'll be glad to hear it when this is over." said Raya before taking down another warrior.

It was then that they were surrounded by several warriors.

"Duck!" exclaimed Raya.

Without hesitation, Leo ducked as Raya turned her sword into a whip with which she struck down all the warriors surrounding them.

That was witnessed by the others.

"A sword that's also a whip? Guys, I know what I want for my birthday!" said Mikey.

"Me too!" said Casey.

With her whip, Raya was taking down several soldiers while Leo was at her side using his katanas to fight.

All the while, the spear warrior was starting to get more and more pissed off.

It was assumed that, with their numbers and weaponry, they could take down the two of them easily, but those guys and those… turtles suddenly appeared.

Using their strange abilities to take down his army.

Letting out a huge scream of rage, he lunged towards Raya directly, but Leo jumped in the middle and managed to block the spear with his katanas before Raya tried to hit him with her whip, but he jumped back to avoid it.

"You damned creatures. How dare you stand in the way of our task?" asked the warrior.

"Your task is to kill people?" asked Leo.

"We are doing what is best for Fang. We don't deserve to be on par with the other kingdoms, we deserve to be above them." said the warrior.

"That will only bring chaos and distrust among everyone. They might even go so far as to attack Fang in retaliation." said Raya.

"In that case, we will be happy to wipe out those who oppose us." said the warrior grimly to the surprise of the girl and the turtle.

"It doesn't look like he's going to see reason." said Leo.

"No, it doesn't look like it." said Raya.

The warrior lunged towards them.

Raya tried to hit him with her whip, but the warrior dodged all the attacks as he kept running.

When he reached them, he raised his spear with the intention of attacking him, but Leo blocked the spear with one katana before using the other to push him back.

Before he could attack again, Raya wrapped her whip around his spear and, with a jerk, pulled it away from his hands.

Before he could react, Raya and Leo threw a punch that knocked him to the ground, but he got up soon after, only to see the two of them pointing their weapons at him.

"Game over." said Leo.

"Surrender." said Raya.

"A true Fang warrior knows no surrender, but he does know this. Retreat!" shouted the warrior as he threw a smoke bomb to the ground.

Hearing that, the warriors still standing did the same, filling the whole place with smoke.

By the time the smoke cleared, all the warriors, including those who had been knocked down had disappeared, leaving the group and the two girls.

"Sewer apples. They've escaped again." said Raph.

"Ha. That just shows what cowards they are." said Casey.

"Exactly. Nobody messes with us." said Mikey.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" asked Leo.

"What?" asked Donnie.

"For example, those two." said April pointing to Raya and Namaari.

"Oh, right." said Raph.

"You have a lot of explaining to do." said Namaari.

"Yes, we sensed that." said Donnie.

"Still, thank you all for saving us." said Raya.

"You're welcome," said Leo.

"So, what are you really?" asked Namaari.

"We are…" began Leo about to tell his story, but suddenly…

"Everybody freeze!"

They all turned their gaze in the same direction to see a group of Fang warriors and standing in front of them was Virana, chief of Fang and mother of Namaari.

She looked around for the enemy, but as soon as she saw the turtles she was taken aback before slamming her scepter to the ground, which served as a message for the warriors to get ready to fight.

"Mikey, time to go." said Leo as Mikey pulled out a smoke bomb.

Raya noticed this and there was no way she was going to let them disappear again, let alone be considered a danger.

"Wait! Stop!" shouted Raya putting herself between the group and the Fang warriors. "They aren't the enemy!"

"What?" asked Virana.

"She's right, mother." began Namaari standing next to her friend. "These… strangers saved Raya and me when we were in trouble."

"I don't know what would have become of us if it weren't for them." said Raya.

Virana squinted at the group to visually analyze them.

She could see that they were younger than her daughter and her friend.

From their weapons, they looked like skilled warriors, and from their looks, they seemed like good people.

"Put down your weapons." began Virana causing the warriors to lower their weapons, much to the relief of the group. "If my daughter trusts you, so will I."

"We thank you, madam." said Leo.

"One question, mother, what are you doing here?" asked Namaari.

"When night fell, I was wondering where you were, so I sent a couple of guards to look for you. That's when we discovered that the guard who informed you of a sighting of Jaw was a spy." said Virana.

"What?" asked Raya in surprise.

"It already seemed odd to me." commented April.

"Where is that traitor?" asked Namaari with a frown.

"Unfortunately, he disappeared before we could capture him. Suspecting you were in trouble, I rallied the troops to come to your aid, but I see others have already arrived to do so and for that they have my thanks." said Virana looking at the group.

"You're welcome." said Mikey.

"Now, I have some questions to ask you, so let's go somewhere more private." said Virana before they all set off.

As they walked, Raya couldn't help but feel a little excited, as she was eager to know where those who had saved her twice came from and what exactly they were.

At the same time, a thought popped into her mind.

"Surely Sisu would have loved it here." thought Raya.
