AN: This one became shorter than I thought. But... oh, well I'll do better next time.
Lessons in Pain
It was the next day of the Vytal Tournament, and the Doubles round had started. The current combatants were Yatsuhashi and Coco of team CFVY vs Emerald and Mercury.
Up in the audience Velvet and Fox were sitting watching their team mates. "Good luck you two!" Velvet cheered.
Nox was glaring at Emerald and Mercury. Ever since he felt that pain in his eye, the dark ninja couldn't help but think that Emerald and Mercury were a threat. Especially since his eye had been throbbing lightly whenever he passed a certain part of Beacon. Yet the Blade couldn't figure out what was causing it just yet. And that's not even counting the fact that he was still suspicious of that Cinder.
On team JNPR's side, Talos was marveling at how poorly composed the pair Team CFVY sent was. Yatsuhashi is a heavy hitter, but put him up against a sufficiently agile opponent and he's in trouble. As for Coco, in order for her to use that weapon properly, she would have to stand still to aim it properly. Though, whether Emerald and Mercury could take advantage of all of these is another matter for now.
And then the fight started with Emerald and Mercury slowly backing into the tall grass of the savannah side of the field. Unlike in the team rounds, the Pairs have four different fields. In this case, savannah, forest, geyser and city ruins.
After a few seconds, Coco turned her handbag into a minigun and opened fire. The grass started falling on left and right, but no sign of Emerald or Mercury.
"Look out!" Blake cried out to the pair, noticing Mercury coming down from the air.
The boy seemed to be after Coco, but Yatsuhashi pushed her away before blocking the powerful dropkick with his giant sword. Mercury jumped off of the weapon, which Coco took as her que to open fire, but the gray-haired teen merely ran slightly ahead of the gunfire in a circle.
"He's good," Sun commented with a grin.
"Yeah, but where's the girl," Scarlet asked, not seeing Emerald anywhere.
On team RWBY's side, Nox had a frown in his eye, before the dark Blade tapped Roze's shoulder earning the reaper's attention. "Look into the forest or the city field, Emerald is most likely in one of them." Nox showed on his Scroll.
Roze decided to follow the advice and started looking towards the forest first. Soon enough, he spotted a movement that should be impossible to perceive for anyone. Anyone that doesn't have Keen Eye that is. "Emerald's in the forest," Roze said, earning the rest of team RWBY's attention.
"How would you know?" Weiss asked with a frown.
"I saw movement, it was barely noticeable, but still there." the reaper Blade replied.
"How did you know to look there?" Ruby then asked.
"Because Nox told me to." At that response, all attention was on the dark Blade.
"What made you think Emerald was in there?" Yang asked, giving the dark Blade a skeptical look.
"The forest or the city field provide most cover for Emerald to launch a surprise attack on either Yatsuhashi, or Coco. Most likely Coco, seeing as she is lighter, and therefore easier to separate to gain an advantage." Nox showed on his Scroll.
"Nox…why do you believe Emerald would be planning that?" Blake asked in suspicion.
Nox gave his Driver a look, before rolling out his answer, "Because that is what I would do."
"Nox, you're not a warrior," Dragunov pointed out, "You have a different mindset."
"They are not warriors either, so what is your point?" Nox showed on his scroll before putting his attention back into the fight.
As team RWBY and their Blades looked at Nox in shock, Mercury was practically dancing around Coco and Yatsuhashi. Just as Talos thought, the two powerhouses were being outmaneuvered, but that's not what the mighty metal Blade had in mind, the boy was infuriating him by having the demeanor of someone who already won. Especially when Mercury was able to force Coco's gun at Yatsuhashi's stomach. The fashionista returned her gun into its handbag form before swiping at Mercury with it. Unfortunately, the boy got away, before unloading two shots from his greaves, which were deflected by the two. But then Mercury seemed to be breakdancing as he made several more of the shots that were now circling around him. The gray-haired teen unleashed the shots upon the fashionista and the giant. As Coco backed away from the explosion, a chain that appeared out of the forest wrapped itself around her torso and dragged her away.
"Just as I thought." Nox showed on his scroll while everyone other than Roze gave the dark one a look for being right.
Back in the arena, Yatsu had some trouble with Mercury, but the large teen was soon finally able to grab the nimble teen by his lapel and throw him straight into the geyser field flat on his back. With that, the giant boy jumped high into the air and brought his sword down. Only for Mercury to block the attack with soles of his boots with a resounding "CLANG!". Not to mention a shockwave that came out of the two forces colliding.
As Yatsuhashi clashed with Mercury, Coco had gotten up to see that her shades had fallen off and broken. "…I take it back, I don't like her," Coco growled, referring to few seconds before the match started. Then she barely bent backwards to avoid a bullet before backflipping away from Emerald who was shooting at Coco from the trees. After one more flip, Coco switched her weapon to minigun and opened fire again. This forced Emerald to move in the trees, barely staying ahead of Coco's shots. Then she swung herself behind one tree, but didn't come out from behind it. This made Coco growl at losing her target.
"Coco," Yatsuhashi called to his partner. The giant boy was walking calmly from behind the girl.
"Watch out, she's in the trees," Coco called out as she still looked around for any sign of Emerald.
Then the buzzer went off. "Ohh, and with that final blow Yatsuhashi was taken out of the match," Port announced as the screen showed disoriented Yatsu taking a hit from Mercury in the geysir area.
"What!?" Coco exclaimed at the impossibility, and turned around again, but Yatsuhashi was gone. The girl was now totally freaked out as she scanned the area nervously. Not noticing Emerald who was preparing to strike from behind.
In the audience, Nox was clutching his eyepatch covered eye.
"Something wrong with your eye, Nox?" Roze asked, noticing the dark Blade's actions.
"Yes. It is throbbing again." Nox showed on his scroll, but then the throbbing stopped. Just as Coco was flung out of the woods, her aura running out. The girl landed next to Yatsuhashi at the center, the boy being in a similar state.
"And with that offset, Emerald and Mercury of Haven are victorious," Oobleck announced. A lot of the audience was jeering at Coco and Yatsu for being beaten so easily.
"Coco," Velvet sounded out sadly, as Fox placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Talos hated this match, even if it was randomized it felt like these two were set up to win. The only reason he didn't voice this was because he couldn't think of a reason why anyone would do that. Other than making Beacon look bad, but that was a petty thought.
Later on, we move to a patio where Winter and Weiss were enjoying coffee together. Alongside their Blades. Both Newt and Dahlia did say they didn't want to intrude, but they were countered with, "You two are practically part of the family now." So the two joined the sisters. Although Dahlia had to make herself a chair out of ice due to there only being two. While Newt used her giant hands as a chair again. The two Drivers and two Blades had enjoyed some nice talk about their experiences as Drivers and Blades of their respective partners.
But then the conversation turned to a more sour topic.
"You're leaving already?" Weiss asked in dismay.
"Yes, I was merely here to supervise transportation of additional units to Vale," Winter explained, clearly not happy about this either, "The previous one was ambushed, and I believe you and your team had a run in with its cargo."
"Lucky for you, those paladins were still prototypes, otherwise you might have had a harder time," Newt added in with a grin, "By the way, those things still can't beat me." the military Blade felt the need to add.
Winter rolled her eyes at her Blade," At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if creating a unit strong enough to overpower you is even possible."
"I wonder which is stronger though," Dahlia mused, "Newt or Dragunov."
"Who's Dragunov?" Newt asked, getting interested.
"My team mate, Yang's Blade," Weiss replied, while giving her own Blade a look, "He is very strong."
"Ooh, I wanna get a crack at him," Newt then said with an eager grin.
"Newt, we don't have time for that," Winter shot her Blade down.
"Come on, pretty please!" Newt begged.
Winter sighed, as much as she had come to tolerate Newt's more…brash tendencies, she just couldn't understand her lust for battle. But for the moment, the Specialist chose to ignore the overly eager fire Blade and turn towards Weiss. "Weiss, I'm so…glad to see how well you have done here at Beacon," Winter then said, placing her gloved hand over her sister's, "You should be proud."
Nothing could describe the joy Weiss felt from being praised by Winter of all people. She didn't even know what to say, but then Winter spoke up again, "I'll be honest, it was quite amusing to see father the day you left for Beacon." The suppressed laugh in Winter's tone supported the older Schnee's words.
"I can't wait to show him what I've learned," Weiss said proudly.
"Oh? And what do you think you have learned," Winter asked with an amused smile.
"What do you mean, I'm getting better with my glyphs every day. I can even use time dilation," Weiss said, worry seeping into her tone. Which earned a curious look from Dahlia.
"What about your summoning," Winter then asked, earning mildly surprised look.
"You know I'm not good with that," Weiss argued back, while looking away in shame.
"The Schnee semblance is hereditary," Newt then started, "Every Schnee has known summoning, why would you be an exception?" The fire Blade and her Driver had had a long discussion about their abilities.
"I've tried!" Weiss shouted at Winter's Blade, "It's just…the only thing I'm not good at."
"Weiss, just because you can't do it yet, doesn't mean you can't ever," Dahlia spoke up, she didn't fully understand what this summoning was, other than what she had seen from Winter.
"Dahlia, you don't even know what we're talking about," Weiss pointed out.
This exchange earned a small sigh from Winter.
Elsewhere in Beacon.
"You'll never beat me, old man!" Ruby shouted.
"You're nothing but talk, kid," Qrow countered.
"You can do it, Ruby!" Yang and Roze cheered in unison.
"Go, Qrow!" As did Kasandra her Driver.
But then on the screen, the horror happened, "Soaring Ninja Wins! Total Annihilation!" That was the end of the fighting game match which ended in Ruby's defeat.
"And by the way, Ruby," Qrow then spoke up to his dismayed niece, "Don't ever call me old."
"My turn!" Yang said eagerly as she bumped her sister off the spot on the floor which was reserved for the players in the RWBY dorm.
"This is stupid," Dragunov groaned, not understanding what was so fun about a mere simulation of a fight. Even as the game started again, with Roze glaring at both the screen and the Scrolls the two used as controllers.
"Now, where was I," Qrow asked as he was now up against Yang.
"You were telling us about how you got Kasandra!" Ruby reminded, appearing between her uncle and sister.
"Right," Qrow said with a slight frown, "There I was walking through the woods. I was tired and just wanted to get to the nearest town. But then, all of a sudden, a hole opened in the sky and a white serpent that looked like some kind of sea creature came out of it. The battle I had with it was intense, but I was still able to beat it. However, that's when it happened. It spasmed once before spitting something glowing out of its mouth. Right into my face. Then I made the mistake of grabbing it and that's when I realized. It spat one of those Core Crystals at me."
"And since that day, I've been working day and night towards our happiness," Kasandra butted in with a cheerful smile. Even as the match ended with Yang's defeat.
"Please don't say it like that," Qrow groaned at his Blade.
"And why not, or are you sleeping with her," Dragunov asked with an evil look.
"Urgh! Gross!" Ruby was grossed out at the possibility of…adult activities.
"…What is Dragunov talking about," Roze asked in confusion, even as Qrow was gaping at both the fire Blade and the wind Blade.
"Yes," Kasandra said still smiling even as Yang threw a pillow at her uncle who barely caught it.
"You are the WORST!" Yang shouted out, utterly disappointed in Qrow.
"NO! Next to me! She's only slept next to me, not with me!" Qrow quickly protested to Kasandra who tilted her head in confusion.
"What's the difference?" The innocent tone in Kasandra's question did not help anyone as Dragunov started roaring with laughter. Yang and Ruby looking unsure of what to think and Roze was utterly confused.
"You…," Qrow growled at the fire Blade that was still laughing at his accidental win over Qrow. "I demand satisfaction," the red eyed man said with a threatening tone.
"And how do you plan to get that," Dragunov asked, thinking that the poor bastard was bluffing.
"By kicking your butt in this game," Qrow said as he snatched Yang's controller and offered it to the Blade.
"Not interested," Dragunov said smugly.
"It's okay if you know you will lose," Yang said, wanting to see how Dragunov fared.
"What did you just say?" Dragunov growled, "Fine then." And then he snatched the controller and started playing.
The fight lasted for all five seconds, with Dragunov not only being uninformed of even the basics, but also his fingers were a little too big. "Soaring Ninja Wins. Flawless Victory. Total Annihilation."
"What do you say to that, big guy," Qrow asked smugly, earning the raging dragon's attention as his cracks glowed with heat.
"Bah, I say," Dragunov growled before taking a deep breath through his nose, "BAH!" and then he breathed a large puff of smoke on Qrow's face.
As Qrow started coughing from the sudden smoking, Yang and Ruby couldn't help laughing at their uncle's misfortune.
"Can I try next?" Roze asked having developed an interest in this game.
"Sure," Dragunov responded as he handed over the control and moved out of the way. Going to a corner to pout. Although he would rather jump into the ocean than admit that.
"You okay, Qrow?" Kasandra asked in worry as she took out a rag from somewhere and was using it to clean her Driver's face from soot.
"I'm fine, just remembering a sore loser," the scythe wielder said as he glared at the fire Blade, who responded by flipping him the bird.
With that, Qrow decided to kick one more butt for the day.
But then, Ruby decided to ask a question," So, uncle Qrow, did you get in trouble with Ozpin?"
"Nah, me and Oz go way back," Qrow responded easily, but his easygoing nature was melting as Roze was putting up more resistance than he thought. "We're…cool," Qrow then said with delay as he had to put more focus on kicking Roze's butt.
And then, despite the valiant effort, "Crimson Avenger wins! Total Annihilation!" The time seemed to stop as Roze managed to do the impossible. He beat Qrow Branwen in a video game.
"Phew," Roze sighed in relief, finally allowing himself to relax, "For a moment I thought I couldn't do it." Despite the fact that Qrow had barely gotten a quarter of the reaper Blade's health down.
"Roze, you did it!" Ruby cried out, before tackling her Blade with a hug. "You actually beat Uncle Qrow! How did you do it!? Can you teach me!? Did you use some kind of superpower!?" Ruby motormouthed with a starstruck look in her eyes.
"…I just…watched the controls, memorized Soaring Ninja's and Crimson Avenger's move sets and used them to formulate a strategy," Roze said, not fully understanding why beating Qrow was so significant.
"Okay, that's enough of that," Qrow said, as he got up and picked Ruby off of the male that seemed a little too old for her.
Except Ruby was latched on so tightly that Qrow was practically trying to lift both of them.
"…Ruby, could you please let go already," Roze said, feeling embarrassed at the situation.
"Oh! Sorry!" Ruby then said and instantly got off.
"You have an interesting family Qrow," Kasandra commented on Qrow's nieces.
"Speaking of family," Roze piped up as he got himself off the floor, "I remember Ruby's father saying that you would be on a mission for a looooong time."
Then Ruby remembered too, "Oh, that's right!"
Qrow chuckled at the questions, "Well a professional huntsman like myself is expected to get results as soon as possible."
"Yeah…we're pretty good ourselves now," Ruby said though her smile fell just a little bit.
Which earned a quirked eyebrow from Qrow, "Pretty good? I expected you to say you were pros."
"Not with the people who got killed," Ruby said still feeling a little guilty about it.
"Hey, you still saved countless other lives," Qrow said in a comforting tone.
"And we also helped in taking down Roman Torchwick," Yang added in, "He's currently locked up in Vale and crime's been down ever since."
Now Qrow frowned," Sure you may act like huntsmen, but you're not thinking like one. The crime hasn't dropped, it's stopped completely."
"Completely?" Roze questioned, he wasn't too keen on following the news, "How can that be?"
"And why do you ask that," Qrow asked the reaper Blade, wondering what his take on this is.
"When a major boss is taken out, that usually creates a power vacuum, which creates chaos. There should be signs of internal struggle within the organization…unless they have a clear succession," Roze explained with a thoughtful look.
This made Qrow smile that at least the girls had someone who had some understanding of how these things tend to go. "That's right, but there's no violence, no White Fang activity, nothing. When you take down the head of a King Taijitu, the second head calls the shots. That's what Ironwood can't get through his skull." That last one was said with just a hint of frustration.
"You know the general?" Yang asked in surprise.
"Hey, I know everyone to some extent," Qrow said as he picked something out of his pocket, "After all, you're talking to a member of the coolest team to ever graduate Beacon." And then he showed a picture of his team during their time at Beacon. "That's when I met your parents," Qrow then said, causing Roze and Dragunov to take a look too. The two were curious about the parents of their Drivers. Especially Dragunov who hadn't met Yang's and Ruby's father yet.
"Is this Ruby's mother?" Roze asked as he pointed to a white cloaked teen girl who had a striking resemblance to Ruby.
"You guessed correctly," Qrow said, as he then noticed the widened eyes of Yang and Dragunov. Their eyes were focused on the black-haired teen with black clothing and red armor. But most importantly, looked like Yang if she had black hair and red eyes. "Anyway, I'm too old to be hanging around a bunch of kids," Qrow then said quickly, taking the picture away from Yang's and Dragunov's eye sight, "You're gonna cramp my style."
"What style?" Roze asked, sounding completely serious, earning giggles from Ruby. Yang and Dragunov on the other hand were too focused on Yang's mother in the picture.
"Was that, Yang's mother back in the train," the fire Blade wondered in his head. The clothing looked same, and the hair matched, but she was wearing a mask so he wasn't sure.
"Oh, ha ha," Qrow said sarcastically to Roze's words, before moving towards the door. Stopping in front of it. "Look, just remember that you still have a long way to go," the dusty old crow then said, "And don't think for a second that graduating means you're done. Every day out there is worth a week in here. But you will keep learning, you will keep getting better. If you never stop moving forward." With those words, Qrow left and Kasandra followed.
"Hey Yang, was that-" "Is a Blade named Dragunov here!" Dragunov's question was interrupted by Newt who surveyed the room for the inhabitants.
"That's me, and who are you, pipsqueak?" Dragunov said, feeling a little annoyed at being interrupted.
Newt's eye twitched at the remark, "The name's Newt, and I heard you might be stronger than me."
"Might? You must've heard wrong, because I'm pretty sure that I AM stronger than you could possibly be," Dragunov shot back with a condescending grin.
"Oh, these arms aren't for show, I'll have you know," Newt shot back with a savage grin, as she cracked the knuckles on her floating arms.
"Hasn't anyone told you? Bigger doesn't mean better," the fire Blade spoke up as he cracked his own knuckles. This statement earned blanched looks from the Xiao Long-Rose sisters and Roze.
"You just called her a pipsqueak earlier." Was the universal thought the three shared.
"You and me. Outside. Now," Newt said commandingly.
"Gladly," Dragunov obliged and with that, the two fire Blades moved out.
"Oh, I am not missing this," Yang said eagerly as she moved to see how Dragunov hopefully beats up Newt. The blonde hasn't forgotten about her humiliation against the military Blade.
"…You wanna see this?" Ruby asked from Roze.
"If you don't have better ideas," the reaper Blade shrugged.
With that, the rosy Driver and Blade moved in to see the damage that a match between these two would cause.
As this disaster was about to happen, we see why Newt was allowed to find and challenge Dragunov. Winter was trying to teach Weiss how to summon. Trying, because it looked like the glyph wasn't doing what Weiss wanted it to.
"Think back to your fallen enemies," Winter instructed, "The ones that pushed you past your limits and made you who you are today. And watch as they rise to your side."
Weiss tried, really, she did, but no matter how much she thought on it, it just wouldn't come out," I can't!"
That outburst was rewarded by a smack upside the head, "Stop doubting yourself!"
"I'm trying!" Weiss shouted in frustration.
"If this is your idea of trying then you have no hope of winning the tournament let alone succeed as a huntress," Winter scolded, before adding in condescendingly, "Why don't you just move back home. I'm sure father will give you a cozy job as a receptionist." This did not sit well with Dahlia, who wanted to stay and watch.
"I don't need his charity," Weiss said resolutely, before Dahlia could even think to say something. Despite the ice Blade promising that she wouldn't interfere with this.
"But you do need his money," Winter said with a knowing smile.
"How did you know about that!?" Weiss asked in alarm.
"Lucky guess," Winter said, before deciding to add, "Let's just say that I was in a similar situation when I joined the military. So, what have you done this time?" That last question had to be added.
"Weiss hasn't answered any of his calls," Dahlia finally decided to speak up, seeing as this didn't have anything to do with the training as far as she was concerned.
"Dahlia," Winter said in a warning tone.
"What? This has nothing to do with training," Dahlia countered, but Weiss was already trying again. Which seemed to ease Winter's frown.
"Emotions can grant you strength, but you must never let them overpower you," Winter explained to Weiss who looked frustrated beyond belief. "It seems you have two choices now. You can either call father and beg for his money back and explain once again why you wanted to study at Beacon over Atlas. Or you can keep exploring Remnant, discovering more about the world and honestly, even about yourself." It was clear which option Winter preferred her sister to take. "It's time for me to go," Winter then said, before hugging Weiss.
"It was really good to see you again Winter," Weiss said, as she hugged her sister back. With that, the two separated as they left the podium to go their separate ways. Although Dahlia of course followed Weiss.
The two had walked quite a distance before the ice Blade spoke up, "Weiss, what were you trying to summon?"
"Huh?" Weiss asked in surprise, before frowning, "What does it matter?"
"I'm curious. I mean, these summons seem interesting," Dahlia replied as she wrapped an arm around her Driver's shoulder. "I mean, in…nature, if you can call it that, Grimm are grotesque, but the Beowolf that Winter summoned actually looked beautiful," the ice Blade added, remembering the beowolf Winter summoned as a demonstration. With the way it nuzzled against its summoner it actually looked cute.
"I guess," Weiss said with a sigh, still wondering if she'll ever learn.
"You know what I think," Dahlia then said, earning a curious look from Weiss, "With the way Winter formed it, it kind of reminded of how I make my icecrafts, I think of what I want to form and then the ice forms into the shape I desire. So, how did you think about your summon appearing?"
"…I…I just willed it to appear," Weiss explained as she started considering Dahlia's words.
"Maybe you need to picture how it appears," Dahlia suggested.
Weiss thought about it for a moment, "That…actually might help. Oh, Dahlia, thank you so much!" the normally frosty heiress blurted out before hugging the busty Blade's side tightly.
This earned a melodious chuckle. "Don't thank me yet. I could still be wrong," Dahlia warned as she stroked Weiss' head.
Then Weiss Scroll ringed again. The white-haired girl released her Blade to check who it was. Sure enough, it was her father. The Driver looked at the screen for a moment, before cutting the call. "You know, I'm tempted to block his number now," Weiss said jokingly.
"I wouldn't mind," Dahlia said back, before a thought crossed her, "But what will you do about money problems?"
"…I'll manage somehow," Weiss said with a smile. Then, as they turned towards the front doors of Beacon Academy, they saw an odd sight.
Newt and Dragunov were flat on their stomachs on the ground, with Dragunov's hand encased in Newt's own giant hand. The two were arm-wrestling, and looked evenly matched.
"Give it up pipsqueak and I'll admit that you're at least a challenge," Dragunov growled as the cracks in his body were glowing with heat.
"Sounds like someone is desperate," Newt retorted with a savage grin, her normal arm mimicking the movements of her floating one. Meaning that Winter's Blade was actually putting in significant effort, if the slight strain on her face was any indication.
"Go! Dragunov, you can't lose that big busted pipsqueak!" Yang cheered her Blade, earning blanched looks out of the frosty pair.
"She does know that she isn't exactly small herself, right?" Dahlia commented on Yang's choice of words.
"Yeah, she should really look in the- never mind," Weiss said as she then remembered who would win the contest of "largest pair" around here. And she was standing next to the heiress. But instead, Weiss remembered something, "Hey, Newt! Winter said she was leaving now. Shouldn't you follow her?"
At this Newt seemed to split her focus with something else, before having a look of realization, "Oh no! Winter's moving! Probably looking for me, dammit!" With those words, Newt did the unthinkable, she used her arm to physically lift Dragunov off the ground before flipping the surprised Blade and slamming him to the ground. With that, the military Blade let go before getting up and running towards her Driver's location. "We'll finish this next time!" Newt shouted as she ran backwards for a moment, "For now, I must return to my Driver, catch you later!"
"GET BACK HERE! I REFUSE TO ACCEPT A DRAW!" Dragunov roared with fiery wrath coursing through the cracks in his body. But he couldn't give chase immediately because Newt slammed him deep enough to get him stuck. And then he broke free from the earthen bindings, before running to the general direction Newt ran to, but by then the military Blade had disappeared from line of sight.
"…Well, that was a thing," Yang said in disappointment. She was so looking forward to her Blade beating that shrimp.
"Shouldn't we stop him?" Ruby, who was also watching the heated match, asked in worry for whoever got into Dragunov's path.
"And risk pissing him off further?" Roze shot back to his Driver. It's better to let Dragunov cool off…whenever that may be.
AN: That match between Dragunov and Newt was something I thought on a whim. To those who don't know, both Newt and Dragunov have a field skill called Super strength, which is self explanatory.
Speaking of, should I make a list of all known field skills the Blades of RWBY have? By "known" I mean the ones they have demonstrated. Of course, Dahlia and Electra will be excluded, because they are canon Blades.
