A Much Needed Talk

Qrow, JNPRR, Rex and all of the Blades were gathered around a campfire. Qrow sitting on one log with Kasandra right next to him. Ruby was sitting on another with Penny on her right and Roze on her left. Kos-Mos was sitting on the other side of Penny. Ren and Nora were sitting on another log with their respective Blades next to them. Finally, Jaune was sitting on the last log with Joana standing behind him, while Rex was sitting a little away from him with Pyra on his left and Roc behind them.

Qrow had just finished explaining about the maidens. Although it took some convincing for him to speak about it to Rex and his Blades.

"So these maidens are powerful warriors, who can use magic without Dust?" Ruby asked for confirmation.

"Yeah," Qrow replied.

"And there are four of them, yes?" Kos-Mos inquired too.

"Always," Qrow replied as he took a sip of his flask while keeping an eye on Kasandra who was looking for an opportunity to snatch it away.

"So when one dies, the power goes to the person dear to them?" Ren then asked.

"Whoever was in their thoughts last," Qrow corrected, "Important distinction."

"And that's what you were trying to do to Pyrrha?" Jaune said with a hint of anger in his voice, "You were trying to turn her into one of them."

"With poor results, according to master Talos," Joana added in with venom in her voice, "The process was killing her."

"We didn't know that could happen," Qrow said with a sigh.

"And you forced it on her anyway," Jaune growled as he glared at Qrow.

"We didn't force it. We gave her the facts and she chose," Qrow explained, putting emphasis on 'chose'.

"He might be telling the truth, milord," Joana said, clearly not happy about the fact, "Master Talos' words implied that lady Nikos planned to refuse, but apparently changed her mind."

"...The previous Fall Maiden, Amber, was dying. We were afraid that the power would then be transferred to her attacker, who we now know was Cinder," Qrow explained.

"But Talos killed Cinder, so where did it go from her," Roze questioned.

"Hard to say, we assumed it went to Pyrrha seeing as from what we heard, Talos killed her right after she launched her final attack," Qrow said with a sigh, "Although after Pyrrha died, I have no idea where the power went to next. Part of me hoped that one of you girls might have it."

At that part, Ruby, Penny and Nora had worried looks. "But that is not the case, is it?" Otohime spoke up with a hard look.

"No, none of you have shown the signs. And to be honest, another part of me is happy that you haven't," Qrow admitted, though it was likely that he was referring to Ruby, "But the fact remains that the Fall Maiden could be anyone right now."

"Why are these Maidens a secret?" Rex then asked, "Why did they have to hide?" They Qrow talked about it made it sound like this was a great secret.

"Because people that weren't very kind went after the Maidens in order to gain their power, kid. That's why," Qrow told bluntly.

"Speaking of secrets," Jaune then said as he gave Rex and Pyra a hard look, "What was that thing you two did? Why is Pyra's Crystal green while all the others are blue?"

"Milord," Joana said softly.

Rex and Pyra shared a look as everyone else were now staring at the two. Rex and Pyra held their hands before both of them adopted a look of resolve. "Among all the Blades in Alrest, there is one Blade who's power is beyond all the others," Rex started the explanation, "The Aegis. And according to one of our friends, the mark of the Aegis is the emerald Core Crystal."

Everyone's eyes widened at this.

"You mean to tell me that Pyra is the most powerful Blade in all of Alrest?" Nora asked with her eyes widening into saucers.

"Umm...yes," Pyra said, bracing herself for the inevitable.

"That sounds awesome!" Ruby let out with an awed look.

"How powerful are you, Pyra?" Ren then asked out of curiosity. The question clearly made Pyra uncomfortable.

"And how did you turn into a blonde?" Electra asked, clearly excited.

"That's-" Pyra was interrupted by glowing briefly before being replaced by Mythra, "Oh, for pete's sake this is taking too long," Mythra complained before addressing everyone, "Let's get this out of the way, my name is Mythra. Pyra is another self that I constructed long ago."

"So you have a split personality?" Penny asked with a head tilt.

"No!" Mythra shouted at the mechanical girl, "It's...Urgh, you don't need to know the details of that. They're personal." With those words, Mythra was once again replaced by Pyra.

"No fair," Pyra complained at Mythra putting her under an armu stampede.

As this happened, Qrow was thinking. If this kid is the Driver of the most powerful Blade in Alrest, then it would make sense for him to be able to fight off Raven. "Kid, I know I might be asking a lot, but...was what you did against Tyrian the best you can do?"

"No," Pyra replied instead, "That's the best Rex and I can do. Mythra is...far more powerful."

"How much more powerful?" Roze asked in curiosity.

The red haired Aegis looked uncertain before feeling Rex's hand around hers again. The salvager was giving a supportive look to his Blade. "500 years ago on Alrest, there was a great war called the Aegis War. During that time...the clash between the Aegises destroyed three nations," Pyra explained, waiting for the reactions.

This made everyone stare in shock. But then Qrow caught onto a little tidbit on that explanation, "You said Aegises. Are there more?"

This time, it was Rex who answered, "There is another, called Malos. To give you an idea about him...the creatures of Grimm and their hate for all life reminds us of him."

"So you're telling us that there's an evil Aegis running amok?" Roze asked in worry, before sighing, "And I thought Dragunov was poweful."

This made Pyra perk up, "You know Dragunov?"

This surprised everyone. But it was Ruby who decided to answer," Yeah, he's my sister's Blade."

"So this is where he ended up to," Pyra muttered out.

"Pyra, who's Dragunov?" Rex asked out of curiosity as he doesn't remember ever hearing about someone like that.

"Dragunov was one of the most powerful Blades of Torna Kingdom, said to be Jin's rival in power," Pyra explained, earning more surprised looks out of others at Dragunov being something that amazing. But Rex was more surprised that Dragunov is possibly as powerful as Jin.

"So Dragunov was your friend," Ruby asked, before a question popped in from that, "Wait a second, you said the Aegis war happened 500 years ago, so how can you remember that?"

"Yeah, wouldn't your memories be wiped out when your previous Driver died? Unless Rex is 500 years old," Jaune questioned too.

"Rex isn't that old, I can assure you of that," Azurda piped up from Rex's helmet, "But to answer your question, the Aegis does not have the same restrictions as other Blades. For instance when Rex awakened Pyra, she already had a physical form."

"What about Malos?" Ruby then asked, "If he's a Blade then wouldn't that mean he has a Driver?"

"He does," Pyra replied, "But somehow he managed to break free from the bond between a Blade and Driver and has been acting on his own ever since."

"A Blade that doesn't need a Driver," Joana muttered in disbelief.

"I would still want to stay with Qrow," Kasandra piped up as she hugged Qrow's arm, much to the older man's chagrin.

"So...Malos' Driver is dead?" Joana asked with worry about a possibly unbeatable enemy.

"No, his Driver is alive to this day," Rex said with a sigh, "His name is Amalthus, the Praetor of Indol."

"Indol?" Kos-Mos queried.

"A nation with strong influence in Alrest," Azurda responded for everyone, "And Indolines are known to have long life-spans."

"So the guy's like, super old," Nora asked, picturing a wrinkly old man with a kilometer long beard.

"Not as old as me though," Azurda said like that was something to be proud of.

"Well...this is troublesome," Qrow muttered," A super powerful Blade that can wipe out entire nations on the loose."

"Well, Malos may not be able to use his full power," Pyra then said.

"Why is that?" Kasandra asked with a head tilt.

"Mythra believes that he may be broken somehow after their battle during the Aegis war," Pyra gave the short answer, "So now we believe that he's trying to reach Elysium to recover."

"That's the place where you said that the Architect lives in," Ren pointed out, "Your creator."

"Yeah, it's also what I believe is Alrest's best chance to find new living space," Rex said with a smile.

"That's pretty optimistic kid," Qrow said with a small smile, before frowning, "I wish our gods were here to do something about our problems."

"What do you mean, uncle Qrow?" Ruby asked out of curiosity.

Qrow seemed to be contemplating on something, before deciding to explain, "Remnant has been around for a long time. People have made up many gods to worship. But if you believe Ozpin, two of them are actually real. They were brothers, one was the God of Light who spent his days creating forces of life. While his younger brother, the God of Darkness created forces of destruction. The Elder brother created water, plantlife and animals during the day, but the Younger brother was disgusted by what his brother created so he created drought and famine. Anything to rid Remnant of life. Then one night the younger brother created something that shared his innate desire to destroy anything and everything."

"The creatures of Grimm," Ruby guessed.

"You guessed it," Qrow said, "The Brothers fought against each other day and night. However, the Elder brother knew that their feud couldn't keep going like this, so he proposed that they made one more creation. Something that they can both be proud of, Younger brother agreed. This new creation had the power to both create and destroy, it could gather knowledge to learn about the world and most importantly had the ability to choose. Whether to follow the path of light, or the path of darkness. And that's how mankind came to be." With that Qrow finished what was essentially the creation of humanity on Remnant.

"An interesting tale," Joana commented, "But I assume there is more to it than that."

"You would be right," Qrow admitted, "You see, the four gifts, Creation, Destruction, Knowledge and Choise. They're not just metaphysical concepts, they exist in physical form. They were the final gift from the gods before they abandoned Remnant. Each of them powerful on their own, but together they could be used to change the world. That's why the enemy wants them."

"Salem," Ruby muttered the name Qrow mentioned.

"Who is this Salem?" Roze asked in worry.

"Not much is known about her, but that's not what matters," Qrow said, "What matters is that she wants the relics and we need to keep them away from her. Or things will not end well."

"But," Rex piped up, "If these relics are as powerful as you say, then why haven't they been used to get rid of Salem?"

That made everyone perk up. A very good question, all things considered.

"Because according to Ozpin, the relics can't be used against Salem just like that," Qrow replied with a sigh.

Pyra was once again replaced by Mythra who had a frown on her face, "That sounds suspicious, if you ask me."

"Look, if the relics could be used to solve the problem that's Salem, I'm sure someone would've used them to get rid of her already," Qrow then said, sounding frustrated, "Or that's what Ozpin said."

Then Rex gasped as he remembered something, "Hey, can Salem control Grimm?"

"Yes, to an extent, why do you ask," Qrow replied with a raised eyebrow.

"Because when a breach opened, Grimm arms burst out of it and tried to grab Pyra and Mythra," Rex replied, earning shocked looks. He never told that little detail.

"Are you sure a Grimm wasn't trying to come to Alrest?" Qrow asked with a frown.

"The breach was trying to suck us in," Roc replied as he then had a thoughtful look, "Now that I think about it, Poppi said she saw a person beyond the breach."

"So you're saying that...these breaches are caused by Salem?" Qrow sounded out with a slightly fearful tone.

"Assuming this wasn't some kind of weird coincidence then yes," Roc replied.

"Now that you mention it, a breach opened when I was taking part in the conference between Mor Ardain and Uraya," Mythra added in.

"So...Salem has been causing breaches these past 500 years?" Rex asked in disbelief.

"But these breaches only started appearing on Remnant last year," Qrow pointed out in disbelief.

"Either one of us is lying or the breaches have happened across both time and space as a certain beast suggested," Otohime said with a thoughtful look, "Perhaps Salem had no control over them until these last two that tried to kidnap Pyra and Mythra."

"But then, why would she do that?" Azurda chimed in,"She shouldn't know about the power of the Aegis."

"Urrggh!" Jaune cried out in frustration,"What the heck is going on!?"This earned concerned looks out of everyone.

"Milord," Joana sounded out, before adressing everyone, "I believe it is best if we slept on this."

"...Agreed," Ren admitted, this was all so much to take in. Not just the maidens but having the most powerful weapon in Alrest here on Remnant. Not to mention that the breaches might be caused by someone evil. And of course these relics.

"But where are these relics?" Electra then asked, "Do you know where they are?"

Qrow let out a sigh before answering, "Right, I didn't get to that yet. The relics are under each of the four academies. Places that not only train the future protectors of the world, but also ensures that they're always guarded."

"And that's why Beacon was attacked in the first place," Roze concluded.

"Bingo," Qrow replied, before taking another sip from his flask while keeping an eye on Kasandra, "Any more questions?"

"...Not for tonight," Roze said as he wrapped his arm around Ruby, "I think we all need some time to digest this. All of this." That last one was directed to Rex and Pyra.

With that, Qrow moved away from the campfire and took a spot under one of the many nearby trees. Kasandra going with him and snuggled next to him. The others also started digging out their sleeping bags from their packs and go to sleep. They had a lot to think about, but hopefully they can digest this all better in the morning.

Although Ruby looked on at Jaune in worry as he got into his sleeping bag. The red reaper turned towards her Blade who was ready to take a comfortable position on the log and sleep. "...Roze, could you...sleep next to me?" Ruby's face turned slightly pink at asking that as quietly as she could.

"Why?" Roze asked, mildly surprised by the question.

"Can you or not?" Ruby asked again, not wanting to explain herself.

"...Alright," Roze replied before moving next to his Driver and draped one arm over her sleep bag covered form. As this happened, Roc told everyone that he would keep watch, just on the off chance that any Grimm tried to creep on them or if Tyrian came back.

Qrow saw what Roze did and frowned. Still it seemed like Ruby asked him and he didn't get into her sleeping bag so he would leave it at that. For now.

In the Schnee Manor Gardens at an evening two days after Weiss lost her status. Willow Schnee, the matriarch of the Schnee Family was depressed. She had heard about what happened to Weiss. It was sad, but she felt like she no longer had a right to say anything about anything anymore. She reached for a wine bottle that she had strangely taken only a few glasses from.

Then the woman heard foot steps coming from behind her. "Leave me alone, you- Oh, it's you again," Willow almost shouted before realizing that the one approaching her wasn't that living weapon that her husband had obtained.

"You seem upset," Dahlia said kindly as she approached an untaken seat opposite of the garden table Willow occupied, "May I?"

"You haven't taken no for an answer so far," the Schnee matriarch said with a humorless smile.

Dahlia took on a more serious expression before speaking up, "If you really want me to leave, I will."

Willow looked into the blue eyes of this busty Blade that she heard her husband call a beast. "Does Weiss need you right now?" Willow asked as if to confirm something.

"No, she said she needed to work on something on her own for now," Dahlia replied with a smile, not revealing what it was Weiss was working on.

"Then, be my guest," Willow said with a ghost of a smile on her face. With that, Dahlia took a seat. "...How is she taking it?" Willow asked with a sigh.

"What?" Dahlia asked with a head tilt.

The woman sighed, "Weiss...how is she taking the loss of her title?"

"As well as she can," Dahlia replied cryptically.

"Can you just give me a proper answer?" Willow almost demanded with a hint of anger in her voice.

"You could always ask her yourself," Dahlia shot back with a small frown.

"I can't!" Willow snapped as she slammed her hand on the table, "I can't." that part was added with an almost inaudible tone. "I can't even bring myself to look at her anymore without seeing that bastard's smirk," Willow said with moisture in her eyes as she now felt like she needed the bottle. Only for Dahlia to snatch it away.

"No, this will not make anything better," Dahlia said as she placed the bottle beyond the woman's reach.

"What do you know?" Willow growled, regretting letting this thing sit down and act as if it knew anything. "What do you know about making anything better?"

"I know that this will only let that bastard you have the displeasure of calling your husband smirk some more in satisfaction," Dahlia replied in an icy tone.

"Don't talk about him!" Willow shouted, "Just...don't talk about him."

"Alright then," Dahlia said in a sympathetic tone, "Is there anything else you want to talk about?"

"Like what?" Willow asked as she twirled her empty glass as she eyed the bottle that Dahlia was keeping away from her.

"Anything really," Dahlia replied with a pleasant smile, "It could be something meaningful like...any embarrassing stories about Weiss that I don't know about." the ice Blade giggled shamelessly, before adding in, "Or something meaningless like the weather."

Willow snorted at the latter part despite herself. "...How about the time Weiss sunk into the snow in the manor grounds," Willow asked, causing Dahlia to perk up.

"Oh? Do tell." the ice Blade had a conspirational smile.

And so Willow told Dahlia a story about a six year old Weiss running after a snow rabbit that somehow got on the manor grounds, only to sink head deep into the snow.

Fortunately however, Willow was there to see it so she immediately moved to pick her little girl up from the snow bank which was waist high for her. Little Weiss' hair eyebrows and clothes were caked with snow, which made Willow laugh at her daughter's funny looking state. The said daughter pouting at being laughed at.

"And then I called her 'my little snow angel', before carrying her back inside so that she could have a hot bath and have Klein make hot cocoa with marshmallows for her," Willow finished the story with a small laugh, which was shared by Dahlia.

"I wish I could've actually seen it," Dahlia said, trying to imagine her Driver that childish.

"I guess," Willow said, before giggling at something, "Speaking of which, Winter convinced Weiss afterwards that if she wasn't careful, a Grimm named Schnee-eater would come and eat her the next time she sunk into the snow?"

"Winter did?" Dahlia asked with raised eyebrows, "I find that hard to believe."

"Many people don't know or have forgotten that my oldest daughter wasn't always the militant that she is today," Willow said with a wistful look, "Actually, there was a time that I was worried that Winter might end up being like...well, similar to what her living weapon is like I suppose." It seemed like the Schnee matriarch was struggling at the latter part, unable to come up with an example immediately.

"Really?" Dahlia asked with a dumbfounded look, before laughing at the mental image of Winter acting like Newt.

"I know, crazy, right," Willow said, laughing herself at her past worries. But then her demeanor soured, "...Dahlia, am I worthless?"

This was a surprise to the ice Blade, both for Willow calling Dahlia by her name and for such a personal question. "I don't think you are. Why?" Dahlia still replied.

"It's just...when I married Jacques so long ago, it felt like a dream come true," Willow said with a sad smile, "He made my father's company more profitable than it was even during his time. I didn't question it, I just thought I had a wonderful husband and a wonderful life ahead of me. Even after father passed away. Now...I feel like I was just a tool that he discarded the moment I stopped being useful." At the last part, Willow looked to be on the verge of tears.

"You're not worthless," Dahlia instantly said with a frown, "And saying that Jacques thinks you are is a poor example. Everyone is just a tool in his eyes."

"I wish I had known that back then," Willow said with a sigh, "Maybe then I would mean something to anyone."

"But you do," Dahlia immediately said, earning a surprised look from the woman, "Weiss considered you her idol. She told me about how she wanted to be as refined and beautiful as you."

"Weiss told you that?" Willow asked in disbelief,"But...I'm just..."

"Don't," Dahlia interrupted sternly," If you're about to say what I think you're about to say then I don't want to hear it. As far as I'm concerned, your husband has only granted you two good things in his life. Two wonderful girls who are not ruled by their father's will."

At this point, Willow let out tears, "In other words, everything I'm not." As the Schnee matriarch began crying earnestly, Dahlia got off her chair before moving towards her Driver's mother. Then she carefully wrapped her arms around her. When Willow didn't resist, Dahlia gave the woman a comforting embrace. "I'm a horrible mother," Willow sobbed into Dahlia's shoulder.

"Weiss and Winter have had each other for the longest time to my understanding," the ice Blade said in a soothing tone, "But I'm sure they would be happy to have you in their lives once again. All you have to do is approach them."

"What if it's too late for me?" Willow asked in a small voice.

"It's never too late," Dahlia said as she released the hug before giving a supportive smile to the woman. "And for the record, I can see where Weiss and Winter get their beauty from, something that your husband clearly doesn't know how to appreciate."

The woman let out a small smile of appreciation at the Blade. "...I heard from the servants that you attacked him," Willow then said with a small frown, "Why?"

Dahlia frowned at the words before laying down the cold hard truth, "He slapped Weiss after she pointed out that he married into the Schnee family."

"What did you do?" Willow asked with a hard look.

"I caught his fist and slowly froze it," Dahlia replied with an equally hard look, "Would have frozen it completely if Weiss hadn't begged me to stop."

Willow smiled a little at that, "I'm glad she did, because you are probably the best thing that she ever had coming to her life. It would've been horrible if Jacques had used that as an excuse to get rid of you." Then she let out a small giggle before leaning into Dahlia's ear, "Just between us though, I personally would have approved if you had done worse."

"I actually have a small list of things I want to do to him," Dahlia said with a conspirational look, "Care to hear it?"

"I would love to," Willow said with a smile. She and Dahlia kept conversing for few more hours before they both retired to bed. And for the first time in a long time, the Schnee matriarch felt happy.

In Menagerie that evening, Blake was staring at the door where her father was no doubt attending to his duties as the Chief of Menagerie. Nox was standing next to her dutifully. The feline eared Driver had an apprehensive look on her face.

"You know," Kali's voice surprised Blake from her thoughts, "You could always go in and say hi." The woman had a tray with a teapot, two cups and a sugar bowl.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Blake muttered, before dropping the act,"I...don't wanna bother him."

"Nonsense," Kali said with a small laugh, "A father is never too busy for his daughter."

"Some of my friends would disagree with that," Blake replied, before her mother almost shoved the tray into her hands and turned to walk away. "Where are you going?" Blake asked, sounding frightened.

"You were never very talkative," Kali responded, truning back to her daughter and pecking her on the cheek, "But that boy loves to run his mouth. I want to hear more about the adventures of team RWBY." With those words, Kali left her daughter to tremble so much in fear that the teaset on the tray clattered.

"My lady, it is only your father in there." Nox showed on his scroll, earning a glare from his Driver. "I shall remain outside, but should you need me, just call me."

For some reason, those words made Blake feel a lot better than she thought they would.

"Kali is that you?" Ghira's voice sounded out from his office. With a deep breath, Blake entered. As Nox promised, he would stay outside.

"Hey, dad," Blake said awkwardly as she caught sight of her father on his work desk going over papers.

"Blake, this is a pleasant surprise," Ghira said in surprise. Blake moved to take the tray to the small table with couches for guests. "Oh, let me get that," Ghira said, but Blake had already placed the tray on the table.

"It's alright," Blake said, eyeing the door she had no doubt Nox would be standing behind. Though whether he would eavesdrop or just stand guard was debatable...probably the latter. "I hope I'm not bothering," Blake then said in an attempt to begin a conversation.

"Nonsense, I've been cooped up here all day," Ghira said as he poured himself and Blake a cup of the tea. "You still take sugar, right?" Ghira asked even as he placed a cube into Blake's tea.

"Oh, actually-" "Oh, sorry. I just assumed," Blake was interrupted by her embarrassed father. "Take this one, it's still-" "No, it's alright," Blake said as she took the sugared tea before taking a quick sip, wincing at the heat.

"You might want to let it cool first," Ghira said placatingly.

"Yeah." With those simple words, Blake placed the cup on the table to cool off for the moment.

"So...is it warm in Vale," Ghira then asked, earning a curious look from his daughter, "It's just that...your outfit doesn't seem to cover very much."

Blake looked down on her outfit, "It covers plenty." She sounded a little more defensive than was probably necessary.

"I mean...a little more armor would be better don't you think?" Ghira tried to reason.

"No! I don't need armor, I can take care of myself," Blake argued back, before letting out a sigh, "And even if I couldn't...I still have Nox hounding me." Even Blake herself wasn't sure if that was a complaint.

"Well...he seems like he has your safety in mind," Ghira admitted, liking the dark Blade much more than that Sun boy. "I just worry, I'm sorry," Ghira then added.

"...Why?" Blake sounded out, barely audible. But her father still caught it, causing him to look concerned. "Why would you say that?" Blake said again sounding like she was on the verge of tears.

"Sweetheart," Ghira sounded out as he placed his cup on the table before moving closer to his distressed daughter. "What's wrong? What did I say?" Ghira asked tenderly.

"How can you guys still...love me after what I did," Blake asked, letting out a few tears.

"Blake," Ghira sounded out as he sat down next to Blake before wrapping his arm around her, "Your mother and I will always love you."

"I shouted at you!" Blake argued back, "I called you cowards! I should've left with you and mom!" And with that, Blake was unable to hold back her tears.

"It's okay," Ghira said as he wrapped his other arm around Blake for a comforting embrace.

"You were right! You were right all along! I'm so sorry!" At the last part, Blake turned away from her father.

"It's fine," Ghira said, still in a tender tone, lightly pulling Blake to face him as he wiped a tear away with a finger. "Your mother and I never held anything against you. We were just afraid that you would fall down the wrong path. And I am so proud to see you haven't" Ghira added in.

"But I did," Blake sobbed, "I was-" "And you pulled yourself out," Ghira interrupted with a smile, "You came back. There aren't many who possess that kind of strength, and even fewer can face their demons again. You confronted White Fang time and time again. Vale, Mountain Glenn, Beacon, I could never be more proud of you."

"...I didn't do it alone," Blake muttered as flashes of her friends entered her mind. Even Nox who stood by her even after ordering him to stay away.

"No, you didn't," Ghira said simply, "Which is why I need to ask you. Why did you leave Vale? Why did you leave your friends?"

Blake sniffed, "I-" "Hey, that's too far!" A voice interrupted from the other side of the door which soon fell down. Turning to the culprit, Blake and Ghira saw Sun and Nox wrestling on the floor with the dark Blade having the monkey faunus in a headlock with his pupil in X-shape. Standing over them was Wu who was just about to whack Nox with his staff, but was instead frozen in place at the sight of the Belladonnas who's moment they interrupted. Sun and Nox also stopped struggling as their gazes fell upon the father and daughter.

Nox's pupil returned to star shape before he let go of Sun's hair and neck before moving into a kneeling position and took out his scroll, "I am so sorry, my lady. I tried to stop him." What he left out was that he was just about ready to snap Sun's neck if the monkey faunus hadn't somehow managed to get them to knock the door down.

"Sun!" Blake cried out with a glare as she managed to read the text.

"Whoah! Uhh...this isn't the bathroom...ehheehee," Sun trailed off as he laughed nervously.

"...I really don't like you," Ghira dead panned while glaring at the monkey. No one paid attention to Wu who was tip-toeing away from the crime scene.

"Urgghhh!" Blake groaned as she moved in before grabbing Sun by the back of his collar and pulling him outside, "Nox! You're coming too!" The dark Blade stood up and obeyed without hesitation.

This left Ghira to groan in lament of that insufferable boy ruining the tender moment.

Slap!*

"No concept of privacy." Blake said after the first slap.

Slap!*

"No respect for personal space." Blake added in as she slapped Sun's other cheek, "Also, what made you think that Nox standing guard didn't mean 'don't disturb'!" that last one was added with a gesture to Nox who looked satisfied at Sun's punishment. The only thing ruining it was the fact that his Driver was not in a good mood.

"I'm sorry okay," Sun complained as he rubbed his cheeks, "I'm sorry, but I promise it's important."

"What, Sun?" Blake all but demanded, "What could be so important?"

"I was talking to your mom and she said something weird about the White Fang," Sun said, while his Blade rolled his eyes.

"I told him now isn't the time, but does he listen? Nohohooo," Wu thought as he now decided to make good on his promise to not bail his Driver out anymore. Trying to save his life from Nox not counting.

"I'm stopping you right there," Blake said, holding up a finger, clearly not wanting to hear it.

"Your mom said that the White Fang members don't wear masks in Menagerie, but I saw at the market yesterday," Sun continued, not caring for Blake's protests.

"Sun!" Blake shouted, even as Nox raised an eyebrow. While Blake doesn't want to fight White Fang, if they were up to something then he wanted to know. Especially if it could be dangerous to his Driver.

"Look I even got a picture," Sun said as he fished out his Scroll to search for the said picture.

Nox was about to reach for the device when Blake smacked it away and off the porch they were standing on. "I don't care!" Blake practically screamed.

"Hey! I'm trying to help!" Sun finally shouted back.

"I don't WANT YOUR HELP!" Blake practically screamed, causing the two to have a glaring contest.

Then the sound of movement in the brush caught their attention. Especially Nox's and Wu's.

"You hear that," Wu whispered as he looked to the direction the sound came from, already preparing his staff.

Nox's pupil shifted to a cross as he scanned the general direction of where the sound came from.

And then they all saw it, on one of the palm trees was a Fang dressed in all black. Realizing that they were spotted the Fang jumped away.

"A freaking ninja-OW!" Sun was interrupted by a punch from highly offended Nox.

"A spy." Blake corrected as she lifted herself on the railing before jumping after the said spy. Nox following suit.

"You want to be useful to her?" Wu asked as he himself stood on the railing, "Now's your chance."

"What's happening!?" Kali, who came to check what all the shouting was about asked with a worried look.

"The White Fang is evil, I totally called it. And I'm gonna get your daughter back," Sun said quickly before jumping after Blake alongside Wu.

AN: Yup, I'm on fire. Although I'm not sure if I did any of the emotional scenes properly, but I for the life of me don't know how to make them better. Still, I like to think that I got something right.
