Update! 4-3-24

Good evening, hope you are all having a good week. I am typing this because I feel the need to address some issues with my fanfiction. Recently my fanfiction was reviewed, and needless to say the reviewer has addressed several flaws in my fanfiction. I will not name the reviewer, but the main issues they have mentioned are as follows:

The format (screenplay) is not appropriate for a fanfiction, causing the story as a whole to become less engaging.

Grammatical issues, among which include inappropriate abbreviations, unclear character action indication, bad use of figurative language, terms like "W-rizz" and "eepy" being inappropriate for the fanfiction, etc.

The last main issue was the story progression being poor.

I wanted to address this review because this indicates that the execution I have made for this story was overall poor for the standards of this website (and possibly fiction as a whole).

Now I will go ahead and say I am not giving this update in an attempt to defend my story, since at the end of the day it is the audience of the story that will pick up flaws if they are there.

I do not know if this review reflects the sentiment of everyone who stumbles across my story, but if it is, I definitely apologize for the experience.

This is the first time I have ever written and published a fanfiction, and I was basically going in to share my idea with people. Now I am beginning to think that simply sharing my idea would not be a good idea if my execution is flawed, as this would likely cause a snowball of negative feedback which would eventually lead to a loss of confidence in the story altogether.

More than likely what I will likely do is delete the current versions of this fanfiction from , and possibly rewrite it in a format closer to standard fanfictions. This would essentially mean rewriting Sonic Revolution from the ground up.

Sorry for not responding sooner when the review came out, and thank you for coming along this journey.
