Chapter 13: Natsu to the Rescue

Lucy continued to look over at Natsu and could see signs of his condition vastly improved since he randomly appeared unconscious after his fight with Zeref. She was confident he would wake up soon. "It's okay...he'll wake soon."

Akame and Usagi eventually entered the infirmary. "How is he doing now?" Akame asked.

Happy looked at the former assassin. "He's doing fine as far."

Usagi observed Natsu's condition. "From the look of things, I saw his condition has improved."

Lucy smiled at the rabbit mink. "Yes, I noticed that too." She then gasped as she sensed some magic power from Usagi, who noticed her reaction and nodded in response.

Happy sensed Usagi's magic power too. "Did you...?"

Usagi placed his index over his lips in a "hush" gesture reminding him that Natsu is resting still.

"Anyway, where's Brook and Robin?" Lucy asked looking at the rabbit.

"Robin's in the basement checking out the books," Usagi replied. "As for Brook, he's keeping watch from outside." He then had a question of his own. "Where's Fujika?"

"Fujika went to gather some supplies from the supply room," Lucy replied.

Akame's face formed a small smile. "There's some good news now."

"Good news?" Both Lucy and Happy spoke at the same time.

Outside the guild, Brook was walking both left and right in front of the guild's entrance. "Man, a skeleton-like me guarding the base of Fairy Tail makes me feel like a bodyguard..." He then caught a glimpse of someone approaching the guild. "Who goes there?"

At the main hall, the good news was that Dimaria's signal disappeared. Warren and the others celebrated as that was another of their enemies out of the picture.

"Another Spriggan Twelve is off the radar!"

"Whoa, that's almost half that's been taken out!"

"Awesome!"

The celebration proved to be a little much for Makarov. "The youth these days doesn't surprise me." He turned to Mavis who seemed to have a concerned look on her face for some reason. "First master, what's wrong?"

Her gaze at Warren's main radar. "The east...the two Spriggan Twelve aren't moving...did they cease their advance...I have a bad feeling about this."

Suddenly something was thrown through the doors and crashed into one of the tables.

Crash

"What was that?" Max exclaimed taken by surprise.

The crash created a dirt cloud and as soon as it cleared, there was Brook on his back barely unconscious. "Ow...that...hurt..."

"Brook!" Two female members ran over to the skeleton and held him up skeleton by his arms.

"What could've done that to him?" Makarov asked quite shocked.

Footsteps were heard from the front entrance and a man entered with a smirk on his face. "Well...it's a nice guild you got here...one infused with the scent of alcohol...I heard this was an old guild but it seems you did some remodeling."

"Who are you and did you do this to our friend?" Macao demanded.

"Oh, that thing is your friend?" Jacob asked his smirk not leaving his face. "It doesn't matter, but, I have to admit I never seen a talking skeleton...enough about that creature...I'm one of the Spriggan Twelve and Jacob Lessio is my name."

Warren looked at his radar and was freaked out but mostly confused. "How did he get this close...my...radar says..."

Makarov checked the radar as well and the two dots pinpointing the two Spriggan Twelve locations remained unchanged. "It was a good idea to track us but in our ranks is a crafty wizard named August who realized our movements were being tracked so he took care of that."

Max couldn't believe what the enemy was saying. "You're seriously going to take us all on by yourself?"

Jacob chucked at that and took a few steps into the guild. "It's what I prefer, it makes more sense to me. No soldiers or anyone else getting in my way. Don't get me wrong, I like traveling with August who is the guy I mentioned earlier because he holds his own but I was feeling charitable so I came on my own. He stopped next to a table and took a seat. "Does your country honor know of "Respect for the Aged Day'?" He didn't hear a response from them. "No one...back in Alakitasia, that day is today, a time we revere the elderly. We cherish their honor and respect so that's the reason I came here to take of your little fairies and give the old man August the break he deserves." He looked over at Kinana, who flinched. "Pour me a drink and make sure it's a strong one."

Makarov just glared at him. "We're not giving you a drop of alcohol, especially after what you just did to one of our friends."

Jacob lowered his head as he folded his hands together. "Well, that's real shame ain't it, I was going to honor you, old man. I thought you should cherish your last drink."

"Are you saying this would be my last drink?" Makarov questioned.

"Yes, on top of that, I'm also an assassin...although I find it that I'm about to brag, my targets never met me twice."

Everyone thought of Akame and the others when they heard the word "assassin". Still, there was a difference between them and Jacob.

Max found this hard to believe. "I never heard of an assassin that works in the open."

Jacob pointed his fingers at his eyes. "Because I'm not like the ones you heard about...typically assassins you heard that hid in the shadows and waited for a moment to strike. That ain't my style, care to guess why? The bodies and witnesses disappear with no one left to tell the tale." He brought his hands close together.

Warren didn't quite understand what Jacob said, but he didn't like it. "You make your enemies and witnesses vanish?"

Jacob clapped his hands together and a bright light came out from him. Makarov and everyone in the guild felt a wind blowing against them. "What the hell is going on!?" Outside the guild, a dark area appeared from underneath. In the next second, everyone in the guild vanished without a trace.

Almost everyone, Mavis was the only one left behind. She couldn't believe what just happened to everyone. "This...can't...be..." Mavis looked around the guild and called out to anyone who could hear her. "Makarov! Macao! Cana! Brook!"

Jacob narrowed his eyes strangely. "There's one more still here."

Mavis gasped and glanced back at Jacob with a hint of fear in her eye. "That's impossible, one member of Fairy Tail can see me...then again...Luffy and his friends were able to"

"There you are!" Jack made a firing gesture that somehow struck Mavis.

The first guild master cried out in pain which, again, was an impossible thought. "How can he hurt me...I'm only a spirit."

Jacob switched his gesture differently with his fingers and Mavis continued to scream out in pain until she dropped to the floor. "Hey, are refusing to talk to me?!" He continued to hurt her but then he realized who he was hurting. "I think I know who you are. You're the one that the emperor talks about...Fairy Heart... I guess that your body is around here somewhere...talk!" He gripped his hand tightly which caused Mavis to scream even more and louder. "You know that your friends are still alive...I made them vanish to a place that's near death but really...however, if they stay there too long they'll be dead for sure. So, tell me and I'll give them back."

Mavis stopped screaming while panting heavily. "They're still alive...so, if I tell give him information, he'll release them...but...I can't fully trust this man."

Jacob was getting impatient. "Tell me-" He felt someone kick him on the back of his head. It was Lucy in her Taurus star dress. "HYAAAAH!" Her sneak attack caused the wizard assassin to crash into some of the tables. "Are you alright, did he hurt you?"

Jacob groaned as he stood up and was baffled that one of the guild members was still around. "Impossible...I cast my magic around the entire guild. How did you-" He gasped as he sensed something dangerous coming up from behind him. Jacob turned around and in instinct, he caught to be what it looked like to be katana that barely inches away from his forehead with his hands clapped together.

Jacob quickly realized that no one was in front of him and looked down to see Akame, whose hands were covered in shadow-like gauntlets. "Shadow-Make: Gauntlet Palm!" She palmed both of her shadow-like gauntlets right into Jacob's chest sending him crashing to the wall as he screamed.

Akame rejoined Lucy and Happy with Mavis and turned around to face Jacob who was still standing. She saw Murasame lying on the ground and used her shadow to quickly reach it. The shadow grabbed the handle and retraced Akame with a sword in tow. "His reflexes are remarkable. If Murasame traveled another inch this fight would be over already...still..." Her shadow tossed Murasame up and Akame grabbed her sword by the handle. "I can still finish him off."

Jacob grunted in pain as he had his hands on his chest giving Akame a threatening glare. "You...little..." He quickly charged towards her, but he quickly sensed another danger. He saw a glimpse of two blades covered in electricity in front of him. "Sword Magic: Lightning X-cution!" A lightning-like X appeared but Jacob blocked it with his arms but seemingly felt the strong electricity. He skidded across the main hall and was surprised at who or what did that to him.

"It's my turn to fight now..." Usagi stood before with his two swords with a serious look on his face.

Jacob blinked a few times. "Uhh...a talking...rabbit?"

"What happened to everyone else?" Happy asked looking around the main hall.

Akame had the same question as she glanced at the first master. "Where's everyone else in the guild, first master?"

Mavis was beyond glad to see four of her guildmates were safe. "Lucy, Usagi, Akame, Happy..." She turned to Jacob. "He made them all disappear and he's going to kill them."

Upon hearing that last part, Akame realized she almost made a grave mistake. "So he is responsible and if Murasame made contact with him..." As long as Jacob has everyone as his prisoners, she wouldn't risk using Murasame, or else she would've doom everyone else in the guild." She quickly sheathed her sword.

Lucy changed into her Leo star dress. "Time for Leo style!"

Jacob was becoming a little annoyed by all of this. "How are you four still around?" Both Lucy and Happy smirked at him together.

Five minutes earlier

Lucy, Akame, Usagi, and Happy heard noises coming from the guild hall and it was more unusual than normal. Especially in the guild. "What's that, sounds like something crazy is going on."

Happy was about to say something until he saw Akame and Usagi looking uneasy. "Usagi...Akame...what's wrong?"

"I sense a strong presence!" Usagi stated.

Akame gripped the Murasame's handle tightly agreeing with the rabbit mink. "Yes, this one is more than just strong...this one is extremely powerful-"

Akame didn't get to finish her sentence as all four were blasted by the strange light. When the light faded, all that remained was their clothes. However... "It seems I made it in a nick of time miss Lucy..."

Lucy, Akame, Usagi, Happy, and even Natsu were inside one of Lucy's spirits which surprised Lucy herself. "Horologium, what are you doing here?"

"You see, I detected a major distortion in the space just now...but, hold on why am I naked, you might ask embarrassingly. Like it or not, it's the only defense spell, but, it's too cramped in here...oh my, don't whisper strange things, remember, you're a proper young lady.

Everyone exited Horologium and much to Akame's relief because she never went through something like that before and she doesn't plan on ever again.

Usagi was completely baffled by what just happened as he was silent for a while.

Lucy had a blanket wrapped around her while she was sitting down on the floor. "Well, once again, I owe you one."

Horologium was happy to hear that but unfortunately, his save was only a one-time deal. "I will no longer be able to use this defensive spell for a while so I suggest exercise caution."

We'll remember that next time." Akame added.

Lucy looked over at the other girl and was surprised that she was already back in her clothes. "How did you put your clothes on so fast?!" She instantly compared Akame to a reverse Gray.

"Lucy, look there," Lucy looked over to where Happy was pointing and that was towards a naked Natsu. Happy had an amused look on his face. "Fire Dragon's-"

Lucy instantly looked away while covering her eyes in embarrassment. "Why'd you make me look!?" All of them heard a scream coming from the main guild hall. "Was that the first master's voice?"

"Let's go!" Happy declared.

B

Lucy smiled at Jacob. "The stars were watching over us."

This was something Jacod didn't anticipate but as long as four Fairy Tail members were still around, he could make this work. "If you vanished with the rest, you would've avoided what's going to happen." He glanced at Mavis. "Listen up ghost, I'm changing the terms of the deal. I think it'd be more fun to tear these fools apart." He reached into his suit. "In any case, if you surrender otherwise there will be nothing left!" Jacod pulled out a dagger and tossed it in Lucy's direction.

"Lucy watch!" Mavis yelled worriedly.

The dagger was quickly deflected by Akame with her shadow sword which Lucy saw making her sigh in relief. "Thanks for the save, Akame."

Jacob narrowed his eyes at Akame and recognized something familiar about her. "This girl..."

Both his and Akame's eyes met and Akame could sense how dangerous Jacob was. "Lucy...I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to refrain from this fight."

Lucy became confused as to why Akame would ask her that. "Wait, why? Why do you want to fight him yourself?"

Akame already had that answer. "Because he and I are the same, you can tell by the look in his eyes and his posture."

Jacob smirked as his suspicions about Akame were true. "That's quite a surprise. I didn't expect a legal guild to have an assassin. It explains the little stunt you pulled on me earlier. You're quite the young one too." He looked in Usagi's direction. "As for you, I'm quite intrigued. In all my years I never saw talking animals before. Not only that, I sense strong magic from you."

Usagi had to admit he was impressed, despite him being the enemy. "He's observant, I'll give him that."

Jacob looked back at Akame. "Anyway, girl, I can play around with you for a bit. Let's see what you can do." Akame never felt so tense in front of an enemy. Not only was Jacob an assassin league above those she had fought in the past, but, his magic power was also undeniably powerful. That alone told Akame that her opponent was indeed a member of the Spriggan Twelve. She wouldn't be as worried if Jacob didn't take the other members captive and knew that using Murasame would only doom them to their end. For the moment, she wouldn't let her guard down.

Akame saw Jacob smile creepily and chuckled a little. "I like the look of your eyes, girl." The former assassin didn't expect her enemy to say that. "And I'm not just talking about the color of your eyes. You've been in some pretty grueling battles before, have you not?" Akame remained silent and refused to answer his question. That was perfectly fine for Jacob. "They also tell me that you've lost some comrades along the way. How many was it, two?" He saw no reaction from Akame. "Five?" He saw a slight reaction coming from his opponent meaning he was getting warm and only needed one more guess. "Eight then?" He saw Akame's eyes widen slightly and heard a soft gasp. That was the reaction Jacob was looking for. "So, you lost eight comrades then. That must've been rough on you, was it not?"

As soon as Jacob mentioned Akame losing eight friends, Lucy became confused by his statement. "Akame lost eight of her friends, the only friends she lost were Sheele and Bulat from Night Raid, so, who are the other six?"

Usagi had similar thoughts. "Akame was a member of Night Raid, no doubt she lost two members from that group. Though, she lost six other friends, perhaps, Jacob's guess is referring to her Empire days."

Akame regained her composure and needed an answer from the other assassin. "Exactly, who are you, I know you're one of the Spriggan Twelve, but, that's all." She had to know which people Makarov mentioned before. As far as she already knew, her new master mentioned the names of the Spriggan Twelve that were mentioned by Makarov. She also could see he was not August because he didn't look like a Wizard King. He wasn't Invel either because he was still at Zeref's side and had a gut feeling he wasn't God Serena either. That left with only two names but there was always a chance her opponent was of the three members that Makarov didn't meet before.

Jacob smirked at Akame's question and would appeal it. "I see no harm in telling you girlie." He placed his right hand in front of his torso and his left behind his lower back. "Jacob Lessio, member of the Spriggan Twelve and holder of the title Assassin." His name confirmed Akame's theory. He was indeed a member of the Twelve and one of the three that Makarov hasn't met. Now there were only two members unknown to her. Jacob finished his bow and straightened out. "Now that I told you my name, it's only common courtesy that you tell me yours, girl."

Akame didn't see a reason why should she since they were about to fight but would oblige anyway. "It's Akame."

The Twelve chuckled amusingly at her name. "Akame, it is? Well, you're not the first assassin I've faced against, but, I will say you're the youngest I've encountered." He cracked his knuckles while giving a creepy smirk. "Now then, let's see how well you stack up."

Akame started by punching the ground with a shadowy fist. "Shadow Rose Thorns!" Large roses with sharp thorns emerged in a single row and sprouted toward Jacob.

"Not bad..." Jacob instantly ran through the roses' roots like it was nothing. "But, it'll take more than little flowers to hurt me!" He pulled back his right arm and struck forward. His fist ran through her chest or so he thought. His enemy waver and vanish. This time, Jacob was perplexed at what the other assassin just do. "An afterimage technique?"

Out of nowhere, Akame emerged from the ground behind her enemy. "Shadow-Make: Fist Gatling!" She unleashed a barrage of punches at a fast speed.

Lucy remembered that move. "That's the same move that Luffy uses."

Usagi was impressed. "Not bad."

Jacob managed to block every punch that was thrown at him. "Quite the punches but they barely tickled." He moved forward and struck a blow to Akame's stomach. Akame coughed out in pain before her enemy stood. "Time for my new technique." She thought as Jacob prepared to throw another strong punch. "Shave!"

In the blink of an eye, Akame vanished. "What the hell?" Jacob was awestruck that his enemy vanished again. "Not bad, but you're not worming your way out of this by vanishing."

Lucy was amazed. "That's the Shave technique that Gray learned!"

Jacob felt someone approaching from the left side and countered by delivering a swift and heavy kick to her side. Akame crashed through one of the tables and landed on the floor. The Twelve was no longer amused by the shoddy performance he saw thus far in the fight. "What a disappointment you are little girl." He made a sliding gesture on each hand and before rushing forward Akame who was on her knees.

Jacob was right above Akame with his right fist raised above with an intent to kill in his eyes. "Shadow Surprise!" A shadow spike instantly appeared from Akame's side and struck Jacob in the center. He grunted as he didn't expect his enemy to make this kind of counterattack. Luckily for him, he was able to catch the tip of the spike before it reached his center. But that didn't stop them from pushing Jacob away from Akame. Akame quickly put her hands together. "Shadow-Make: Dark Whip!" She swung a shadowy-like whip and whip it against Jacob and hit him about a dozen times which seemingly hurt him.

"Shadow-Make: Pistol Shadow Bullets!" She wielded pistol that shot out shadow-like bullets which rapidly shot Jacob, who blocked the bullets but was seemingly pushing him back. She put her hands together again."Shadow-Make: Darkness Claw!" The shadows wrapped around her right hand and moved it forward and a giant shadow claw extended. It traveled towards Jacob and he was slammed right into the floor with a thunderous crash.

Akame jumped away from the enemy and sighed heavily. She knew the enemy wouldn't go down easily. "Not bad, kid." She gasped in surprise when Akame saw Jacob stand up easily and was just dusting off his sleeves.

It was as Akame predicted, but it was still unbelievable to her to this extent. "All of that and he was just brushing damage off. How resilient is he?"

Once Jacob was done dusting, he looked over in Akame's direction. "I believe it's time to get serious by taking off these kid gloves." He smirked once again at Akame before vanishing. Except for this time, he was nowhere to be found. Before Akame knew it, she felt a strong and heavy blow strike the left side of her face. It sent her flying off before Akame felt another heavy blow to her back. It sent her forward and more powerful attacks were landing all over her body. The best she could do was put her arms in front and defend against the relentless attacks.

Lucy was wracked with confusion as to what was happening in front of her. "What's going on, how is that guy attacking Akame like that?"

Usagi was wondering the same thing. "That guy is invisible and what's worse we can't sense his magic nor can Akame."

Akame felt more attacks and as they kept coming, she sensed something different about them. "These attacks, they're not like before." She thought back to when Jacob's first struck her and compared it to the attacks now. "Back then, his attack was powerful but they're coming heavier. Not to mention that there's something metallic added to them. An idea occurred to her. "If that's true then, when did he-" An attack struck her from under her chin and sent her flying into the air. However, that didn't last long as Akame felt a powerful kick straight to her stomach and crashed back into the floor. Akame coughed up blood as a result and groaned in pain.

"Painful, isn't it?" Jacob appeared right above Akame with his foot digging into Akame's body. "How I put you out of your misery, should I not?" He took hold of Akame's Murasame and inspected it closely. "I noticed before we brawled, you sheathed your sword. I gotta admit that your sword got me curious. Mostly, why didn't you use it?" He pointed the sword down toward Akame's neck. "Well, it doesn't matter either way, death by your weapon, ironic, ain't it." He grabbed the handle and unsheathed Murasame. "Time for you to" Before Jacob could go for the kill he noticed a few red sparks coming from the handle. Then the handle began sparking wildly and he felt great pain coursing through his hand. "What the bloody hell was that!?" He tossed Murasame in the air and the pain stopped.

At this moment, Akame took advantage of this and used the Shave technique once more. "Shadow-Make; Twin Shadow Swords!" Akame rushed at Jacob and swung her left shadow sword at the Twelve. He crossed his arms and block the attack and was pushed back. "We may do the same work..." She had her right sword vanish and managed to grab Murasame by the handle as it dropped in front of her. "But the difference between us is that you don't carry the burden of the lives you've taken!"

Seeing this exchange reminded Lucy of why Jacob couldn't use Akame's weapon. "That's right, only ones that are a good match with Imperial Arms can use them, those that can't get hurt or die."

Jacob lowered his arms and glared at the other assassin as he tossed the sheath away. He thought Akame's words were nothing more than a joke. "An assassin becoming soft...I thought you would know not to mix personal feelings with the assassin's life." He put his fists up in front of him and readied himself for the next round.

"Brass Knuckles..." Akame's words got his attention. "That's what you've been hitting me with this entire time before." She threw Murasame away from her and it stuck deep inside the guild's wall. "Expect they're not visible and the same be said what you did before. I know your trick now and it won't work a second time."

"That explains it then..." Everyone including Jacob looked at Usagi. "Not only that you have a magic power that makes you camouflage. Not only that, you can see ghosts like Mavis. Normally, outsiders like yourself can't see her but you were able to but I presume that you can see her due to your magic power.

Lucy understood now what Jacob's magic was so far. "I see, that must also explain how I couldn't sense his magic power when he was invisible."

Jack chuckled a little. "So, the bunny rabbit is smart, very good, but, just because you figured out my magic doesn't mean that your friend will be able to find me." He vanished once again.

This time, Akame closed her eyes recalling what Dark King Rayleigh mentioned to her about Haki.

F

At one of Sabaody's Groves

Rayleigh was sitting on a rock while Akame was standing across from the old man. "So, you want to learn about Haki, right?"

Akame nodded. "Are you certain you probably gain it?" The former pirate questioned. "It's not easy to get, most people train but only come out empty-handed, even if some people manage to get Haki, they only can use one or two Haki powers."

Akame lowered her head. "I know, but, my friends and I are about to be another war once we return to Earthland. There's no doubt that the battles that await us will be even tougher than the ones we were in." She lift her head and then looked directly into Rayleigh's eyes with a determined look. "As long as I can help protect those that are important to me, then so be it!"

Rayleigh sighed heavily as the sun shined on his glasses and then a faint smile appeared on his face. "Very well, but, I must warn you I won't go easy on you."

"Understood," Akame replied with a nod.

B

"I may have the Aura sensor...but...that only senses a person's aura. However, Haki can sense the presence, strength, and emotion of others like Jacob." She concentrated hard on searching for the enemy's presence as she summoned out two Shadow Swords. "I must my Aura sensor first..."

"What is Akame doing, why is she just standing with her eyes closed?" Lucy asked.

Usagi on the other hand figured out what Akame was doing. "Akame...you...can do it..."

Everything was quiet and then...she sensed him. "As I thought." Akame flipped her right sword and raised it. As she did, there was a metallic clang and sparks. Akame tightened her grip and growled as she pushed her sword forward. She followed that up with her previous move and delivered multiple slashes as she passed her target by. As she did five black stars appeared out of thin air. "Five-Star Shadow Slash!" More slashes appeared around the space where the stars appeared, and a scream could be heard. Akame turned around. "Shave!" She quickly vanished and reappeared in the air. "Double Crescent Shadow!" She swung her swords overheard and slashed at her invisible target. Another cry could be heard as Akame sensed the cries as they were being pushed away from her. Her swords vanished and pulled back her arms as shadow magic covered her fists. "Shadow-Make: Fist Gatling!" She threw a barrage of shadowy-like fists toward her opponent.

A third scream was heard as a little visible saliva was coughed out. Jacob appeared before her on his right knee while holding into his left side. His clothes were messed up and a few bruises on his face. He looked at Akame growling furiously at her. "How did she sense me? My magic prevents my enemies from sensing my presence completely! How did she sense me so easily?"

Lucy may not have understood it at first, but she remembered the ability that Night Raid and the others in their world can use. "Of course! Even if I couldn't sense his magic, Akame could sense his aura. It didn't matter if we couldn't see him or sense his magic!"

She was almost correct in that regard. To Akame, she was using her Aura sensor though she had a backup plan. "His magic is like Incursio's trump card. He can turn invisible, but, he can erase his presence too, and his magic power. However, even so, there's one thing he didn't count on." Akame could sense a powerful aura coming from the other assassin. "He doesn't know how I can sense his aura and if even he learned to himself, I can sense his presence, strength, or his emotions using Observation Haki." She was proud that she was able to accomplish that so quickly. "You've lost. Now, return our friends or I'll force you to."

Even in his position, Jacob couldn't help but laugh. "Oh really?" He groaned as the Twelve stood up. Jacob removed his hand from his side and started to clap slowly at the other assassin while smiling. " I have to admit, I should give you more credit than I should've." He stopped clapping and set his arms down. "You're the first assassin to last this long against me not to mention the first one to sense where I am even if I'm invisible. However, I should try the trick that you used too." He vanished in the blink of an eye.

Akame drew her left sword as she couldn't believe what her opponent just did. "He used the Shave Technique." In the next second, Akame felt a powerful blow to her back and propelled her across the guildhall. "...NO MATTER WHAT ASSASSIN YOU ARE, YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A RANK AMATEUR COMPARED TO ME!" He used the Shave technique again and reappeared in front of Akame attempting to throw another punch at her.

Usagi drew one of his swords. "Sword Magic: Lightning Flash!" He quickly dashed with lightning speed and blocked Jacob's attack. The electricity coursing from the sword started to surge all over Jacob's body and electrocuted him.

A scream of pain was heard from the assassin and as the electricity stopped Jacob knelt on his right knee once again.

Lucy was perplexed by what she saw. "Usagi dashed so quickly that I barely saw it."

Akame was impressed as Usagi glanced at her. "Akame, fall back, I'll handle this now."

Jacob growled furiously again. "Rabbit...you're making me mad now." He coughed a bit seemingly hurt. "I must give you credit for saving your friend's life using that lightning speed...however...I wonder if you could do...that...again once I take your friend's head!"

He quickly took out another dagger and tossed it at Lucy. "Lucy!" Akame and Happy shouted at the same time.

Usagi attempted to use his magic again, though, the dagger was alreadly getting closer to the blonde girl.

Before the dagger could reach Lucy, someone else came in between and blocked it with their arm. Everyone was surprised by this sudden appearance. What was interesting was that the dagger itself began to melt and smoke was coming out. "Think again pal! As long as I'm around you won't be taking nobody's head!" The completely melted and the smoke partially covered him. The familiarity of his voice brought untold joy to Lucy, Happy, Usagi, and Akame. "For that, I'll have to turn you burn into ashes!" Natsu glared at Jacob furiously.

Jacob wasn't intimidated, but Natsu's arrival gave hope to Mavis and everyone else. "Natsu!"

"That's good."

"Welcome back."

"Hope you had a good nap?"

Natsu raised his right arm and flames surrounded it. "Yeah, I'm all fired up now!"

A/N: Those that have seen Akame's aura sensor, I'm sure you all know how it works. Haki is from One Piece, Akame's first Haki is Observation Haki, which she is going to use soon, and those that have watched One Piece, I'm sure you all know how Observation Haki works. Akame is also trained to kill with firearms(as in guns)I read on that on her profile. Just letting those know that haven't see Akame Ga Kill(including the manga series).

Anyway, don't judge this chapter, but review, but bad ones won't be tolerated. Have a good day.

End of chapter.
