Chapter 15: Historia of the Dead Part 1

At the western end of Ishgar, Zeref, who was wearing a new outfit, overlooked his massive army alongside Invel. They had stopped moving along for the time. "We shall re-commence our advance on Fairy Tail! Be on guard, as we made clear our enemies are reckless as they are powerful. Five the Spriggan of the Twelve have already fallen."

Zeref knew that all one Twelve's defeat was by someone else. "Who knew Acnologia would arrive sooner than later."

"Be cautious but unafraid that death won't reach our emperor and that we'll require Fairy Heart once and for all!" Inven continued.

The entire army roared at that last statement.

Zeref had a slight smirk on his face and his eyes were darkened with malevolence in them. "My doubts are cleared. Natsu...Mavis...I shall extinguish your light once and for all."

B

Later, Brandish was brought back to her cell. Natsu arrived there with Lucy and Happy. "Hey...uhh...Brand-New Dress?"

"It's Brandish!" Both Happy and Lucy corrected Natsu's pronunciation.

"Right, I was told by you helped me, so, thanks," Natsu laughed happily but Brandish continued to look away from them.

Lucy thought the Twelve deserved a comfortable than the cell. "You didn't have to return to the cell."

Happy agreed with the blonde. "Yeah, after all, you've done a lot for us."

Brandish continued to look away and said nothing. At least for a few seconds. "I can't believe you beat Jacob. I suppose I understand the Emperor's order more than ever when he said we shouldn't have taken our enemies lightly." Hearing those words was akin to a compliment to Natsu. "However, your luck is about to run out." The next words surprised the three of them. "August is coming."

Lucy didn't understand what Brandish meant by that and Happy was just as confused but about something else. "August, who is that?"

"It's only September,"

As Brandish thought, they had no idea what was coming toward them and what it would bring when he arrived. "In Alakitasia, August is a fearsome month, one that brings disaster and misfortune. So, everyone prays and puts on good behavior while trying to maintain what comes to them. August will always bring some kind of reckoning. It has always been that from generation to generation.

Natsu then noticed someone wasn't around. "Where is Akame?"

"Oh, she went to get healed by Porlyusica," Lucy answered.

B

In the guild infirmary, Porlyusica had just finished Akame's injuries from her fight with Jacob. Her treatment lasted longer than Natsu's and Lucy's because her fight against the other assassin was longer. Akame had bandages wrapped around both her upper thighs, her shoulders to her forearms, and a bandage on her left cheek. More wrapped around her waist. "I'd suggest that you avoid doing anything strenuous to your body for a while. Otherwise, your recovery will slow down."

Akame nodded without saying a word as her eyes were hidden. "Yes ma'am..." The former Fairy Tail member noticed her gloomy behavior. "Hey, what's with the gloomy expression?"

Just then, Fujika approached her. "Here Akame, take these potions." She had each one labeled. One had the word "Healing" and the second read "Magic Charge". Akame took them both in her hands and was a bit confused, which the former Kuja pirate noticed. "The first one shall heal up the wounds and bruises in no time while the other shall replenish your magic power."

Akame nodded and smiled slightly at the other girl. "Yes, thank you." She then took a sip of the potions feeling her magic power and the pain from her injuries fading away.

After that was done, Akame put her clothes back on since she had to remove them for Porlyusica to treat her in the first place. "I should get going." Once she was finished re-dressing herself, Akame turned and bowed to the apothecary and the former kuja pirate. "Thank you two, again." She began to walk towards the door and saw it opening.

Usagi came in as he saw Akame slowly pass him and noticed a gloomy expression on her face. Porlyusica cleared her throat. "Rabbit...don't worry about her, anyway, we need to treat your wounds too."

Akame walked through the hallway. She began to recall how strong Jacob was. He was a strong opponent even with her aura sensor and her newly required Observation Haki, she still got injured. Though she knew Natsu accidentally revealed her aura sensor, she knew that she was still outclassed by Jacob.

In the main hall, the other members were repairing the damage that Makarov had done. It was almost unbelievable to Akame that the fight had occurred not too long ago. Her thoughts came to Jacob again as she clenched her hands tightly.

"Something wrong, child?" There stood Makarov in front of her smiling at her.

Akame saw the eight master then quickly recollected herself and looked away. "I-I'm fine, I'm just thinking..." She quickly remembered Murasame. "Oh, I almost forgot." She looked in the direction where she tossed her Imperial Arms. "Ah, son of a-" She saw several guild members, two males and a female carrying Murasame's sheath.

One of the males was trying to pull out Murasame but was still embedded and was rubbing his hand. "Come on, can this damn thing get loose."

The other male walked in front of him and looked confident. "Stand aside, let my muscles do this." He grabbed the handle and instantly felt intense pain. He screamed and immediately let go of the handle.

The lone female of the three sighed at their attempts. "I think your brains might've stopped to remember that these kinds of weapons can only be used by certain people."

The first male attempted to try again. "We're not using it, we just want to pull it out!" He grabbed the handle again but the same result happened and yelled. "You stupid sword!" He was close to just kicking the sword out of the wall.

That was when Akame appeared in front of them and pulled her sword out with ease. All three of them were caught off guard at first by how easily she took back her sword. They quickly recovered and the second male was glad to see her. "Oh, Akame, you're here. You feeling alright after fighting against that assassin guy?"

Akame looked in his direction and nodded at him. "Yes, Porlyusica managed to heal me and I got my magic power back thanks to a potion that Fujika made for me."

"Wow, Fujika must be an excellent potion maker," The female member commented. "Though, her snake staff still kinda creeps me out." She then handed over the sheath. "Anyway, here, we found this scattered on the floor."

Akame smiled and gladly got back the last part for her Imperial Arms.

The second member couldn't help but stare at her Imperial Arms. "I'm surprised you didn't use that at first considering what it does."

The lone female sighed at his ignorance. "You realize if she did, none of us would be here right now."

The first male argued against that. "Yeah, but Lucy pulled us out of that weird space. I think it still could've worked and she could've killed that other assassin guy."

"No..." The three turned back to Akame. "Remember, the wizard with the space cancelation magic was also in there with her. If Lucy hadn't convinced Jacob to release him, then none of us would be having this conversation now."

Makarov was listening while sitting at a table drinking some coffee.

The two males realized that Akame made a strong point. If it was easy, Akame would've killed Jacob with no problem at all.

The first male groaned as he closed his eyes and rubbed the back of his head. "I guess killing someone isn't simple as I thought it be."

The female member scoffed at his words. "Well, that's what happened when someone holds all guild hostage." She smiled at Akame next. "Anyway, we're thankful for what you did for getting us out of that situation.

Makarov smirked slightly.

Unfortunately for Akame, she didn't make eye contact and seemed somber but mostly gloomy. "Why are you thanking me?" The three members were confused at what Akame said and Makarov's smirk was turned upside down. "Lucy was the one who rescued you all and Natsu delivered the final blow. Compared to that, I didn't accomplish anything..." Her hands tightened with frustration. "All I did was get...beat up..."

That was when Akame felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around to see the female guild member smiling at her. "Don't beat yourself, you did what you could even though it wasn't major like what Lucy and Natsu did. You still fought to save us and Usagi did the same."

Brook approached Akame. "She's right." The former Night Raid assassin looked at the pirate skeleton. "I also know how you feel too. I also felt like that when I first joined the Straw Hat Pirates. But, I keep doing what I can do and promised to get stronger to protect my crew as well as my captain."

Makarov smiled proudly as he slightly saw Usagi passing by the time.

"They're right," The rabbit mink spoke getting the attention of the four. "I know you must feel frustrated about your fight against Jacob, but, don't let it affect you. We worked together to fight against him. Working together as a team is what defeated Jacob. I say all of us were able to beat him together."

The three guild members smiled and looked back at Akame. "That's right, I'm sure always else feels the same way towards you."

Hearing those words made Akame feel a little better. "Thank you, guys." Before she could say anything else another male member came to her. "Hello, I got a present for you." He handed over a long-wrapped package. "Here, open it."

Akame didn't know what to think of this but she opened it and saw that a katana sword was inside. "While you and the others were in the world where the Straw Hats were from, we found this sword in a shop." He was referring to the other members that were speaking to her. "Leone also told us that you're skilled with swords despite that you never considered to be a swordsman."

The female member smiled. "That's right, so, we want to give you a gift, consider it a thank you for helping our friends through your world."

Akame was touched by this sudden gift. "Thank you, I appreciate it." It was a touching moment indeed as she took the katana sword but then her stomach let out a loud growling sound. Akame looked down a little embarrassed but she chuckled lightly. "Oh, I forgot that I'm hungry since the battle is over."

The four guild members laughed and the first male smiled at her. "Well, let's scrounge up something to eat then." Akame loved that idea and nodded as they all left to see what Akame could eat in the kitchen. "I'll join you guys too." Usagi offered.

Brook laughed. "Yohohohoh...youth is so nice these days..." He ran over to join the others in a feast. "Wait for me!"

Makarov was proud that his other children cheering up one that was frustrated and feeling helpless. "My...children...keep...growing." Though, his cheery was halted when he heard some nearby guild members talking about his reckless action.

"Be careful, master."

"Yeah, especially at your age."

"I'm sorry," Makarov sitting a seiza style.

Max looked over at Warren and wondered what happening with their other members. "Warren, what's the situation on the battlefield?"

Warren slightly shook his radar wondering the same thing. "I don't know, my radar seems to be busted or something."

Jet and Droy glared daggers at their guild master and assumed it was his fault too. "I hope it's not my fault."

Warren didn't think so as he found out what was wrong with his radar. "No...I mean it's not damaged...but looks like it's signal is jammed."

Max recalled what Jacob said. "Wait, Jacob said his teammate can mess with tracks. Was his name August, right?"

"You see we have this crafty wizard named August in our ranks. He realized that our movements were being tracked so he had to take of it, did he?"

Makarov realized the situation has just gotten tougher. "That means August the Wizard King is heading this way."

"That doesn't sound good," Romeo commented.

"How do we stop him, the first master?" Max asked, but, he realized the spirit girl wasn't in the main hall.

Brook searched around. "Not any sign of her."

"By the way, are you alright, Brooke?" Romeo asked.

Brook looked at the young teenage boy. "Huh? Oh, I'm okay, I admit I did my hide handed to me if I had a butt, to begin with...yohohohoh!"

Romeo laughed a bit.

"By the way, where's Robin?" Jet asked.

"She's still in the Fairy Tail's library," Brook replied. "She's just checking something out."

"Okay..." Max said little confused.

At the bottom of the basement, Mavis, as well as Cana, were walking toward where Mavis' original body was. Cana was impressed such a place existed in the first place. "I never would've thought there was a basement."

"It's one of the secrets in Fairy Tail for a while because in that lacrima is my real body, known as Fairy Heart," Mavis said looking at lacrima.

"Which is what Zeref is after," Cana said recalling the first's theory on that.

Mavis walked close to the lacrima. "Seeing Natsu and Lucy's fight against Jacob gave me an idea for us to defeat Zeref. I can't go into full detail but we must free my body from this thing."

Cana gasped at the idea. "Hold on a second, your body is in there...but..."

"My body is theatrical alive which thanks to Precht's revival spell." Mavis turned to Cana with a serious look on her face.

"How can we get you out?" Cana asked.

"Fairy Glitter." Mavis's answer surprised Cana. "I want to you use that powerful spell to eliminate this fake body." Cana remained silent as she tried to process how insane this plan her First Master came up with. Mavis pointed at a crack in the lacrima. "You see there when my projection was damaged that crack appeared, if my theory is correct, exterminating my projection body, and freeing me from the lacrima."

Cana gritted her teeth and started to have doubts about this entire plan. "Are you serious, you want me to attack you!?"

While Cana was doubting this plan, Mavis remained calm. "As I said, this is just an illusion, you won't hurt me it's the quite opposite."

Her words didn't convince the card tator mage. "I can't it's too risky, if something were to happen to the real-"

"Cana..." Mavis's serious expression didn't leave her face. "You have to trust me, don't forget our goal to defeat Zeref." Cana didn't know to respond to such a declaration and remained speechless.

Northern Fiore.

Over at the snowy north, Gajeel and his team along with Zoro, Aquapad, and Jimbei saw the incoming Alverez army headed their way and to Fairy Tail. The army wasn't even close to them and yet Lily felt like he was on the edge. "There they are, that's the enemy."

Gajeel realized the time that has passed. "We're pretty late with our rendezvous with Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus." Levy was worried that they haven't reunited with the two guilds. "I hope they're alright."

Zoro held one of his swords. "It's about time, I'm ready for some action." Chelsea sweatdropped at the pirate swordsman. "Does he have to be so bold?" She also knew Levy's concern was considered yet she had a bad feeling.

Aquapad was cracking his knuckles. "I'm ready to fight.

Jimbei cracked his knuckles too. "Hmph...bring them on."

"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY GET READY TO FIGHT!" Gajeel stated.

Just as the army got closer, they could hear their footsteps and saw they were carrying something in multiple. When they came close enough, they were shocked to see what they were carrying. The soldiers howled and cheered while they were holding up the defeated members of Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus, tied up to wooden crosses. There were different reactions among the group.

"Yukino..." Levy whimpered.

"That's Sting and Rogue!" Lily pointed out.

Gajeel was the most stunned by what happened to their friends and what kind of display he was seeing. "That is so messed up...they're showing them off."

Jimbei's eyes widened with shock. "Sting...Rogue...oh no..."

Aquapad gritted his teeth. "Oh no...our...friends...have...been..."

Zoro was disgusted at the scene he was seeing. "Crap...this is disgraceful."

Chelsea's bad and doubtful feelings intensify even more. "This is insane...these are the same people that helped against the Empire. Hell, Sting and Rogue were the ones that dealt the final blow against the Emperor's Supreme Imperial Arms. Not to mention, Sting locked fists with the Admiral Kizaru!"

Back at Hargeon, the battle to reclaim the town was still underway. There were still fighting against the enemy while others were taking the small time they had to recover from their previous fights. With two of the Twelve defeated, only one remained. Three of the Fishmen, Thorn, Jula, and Angela were already swimming cautiously towards the enemy's reinforcement ships.

Erza, Kagura, and Jellal made their way toward the ship where the last Twelve was currently. As they landed on a ship's deck someone put their fingers out creating a darkness covering the entire area. "What's happening?"

"It's so dark!"

"I can't see a thing," Jellal said as he started to remember the magic power. "I know this magic."

Suddenly he along with Kagura, and Erza were struck and then the darkness faded away. The three looked to see a familiar wizard. "Remember my Dark Moment spell, nostalgic, isn't it?"

Former Tower of the Heaven affiliate: Simon

All three recognized him and for a good reason. Simon, a childhood of Erza and Jellal, was previously killed back at the Tower of Heaven all those years ago. Both were there when it happened along with Natsu. So, seeing him standing in front of them left Erza not believing her eyes. "Simon...?"

Jellal shared the same feeling as Erza since he was the one that killed his old friend. "You're...still...alive?"

The three stood up facing their deceased wizard. "Erza, you're grown quite a bit. You seem different than ever, Jellal..." He looked at the other girl, whom he recognized as well. "And you...could...you be..."

Kagura was practically drawn to tears at seeing her late brother alive. It was almost like she was dreaming but she wasn't. "Big brother..." Kagura attempted to hug her brother. "It's me..."

"Stay back!" Jella stuck his right arm in front of Kagura to stop her as he caught something off about his old friend. "This thing isn't Simon."

Kagura scowled at the man who killed her brother. "Bastard...how dare you!?"

They all heard a laugh coming from above and looked up to see a person sitting on a spar of the ship. "Your Historia has been of everything. Love, pain, friendship, heartbreak, and death, all of you share a beautiful story."

Spriggan Twelve member: Neinhart

"This is your doing?" Erza asked.

"I'm impressed that you grasped the situation that quickly. This is the man that is from your Historia. A wizard that you have held in your hearts. I can see inside them, your hearts are filled with memories and emotions. I gather all those and give them physical form."

Simon's body began to vanish. "Kagura...it's...you...I'm...happy...to-" Kagura tried to get hold of him but she was too late. "Big...brother..." For what it felt like a second time, Kagura had lost her brother yet again.

While she was in despair of losing her brother, Jellal wasn't easily tricked. "Control yourself, it wasn't him just an illusion!"

However, Kagura wasn't going to listen to him. "Move aside!"

Neinhart closed his eyes and smiled while raising his left arm. A glow surrounded his hand. "Illusion is a bit wrong. You saw for yourselves, I create love forms that can use magic among other things living beings with thoughts and feels." He unleashed a powerful magic attack and aimed it toward Kagura. Before it could hit her, Jellal grabbed her and shielded her from her attack with his body. The attack was so powerful enough to blow a hole through the ship and straight into the water.

Little did the two noticed, that Thorn, Jula, and Angela were swimming nearby.

"What was that?" Thorn asked.

Jula looked closely and saw two humans sinking deep in the water. "It's Kagura, but, who's the other guy?"

Angela looked closely and came up with an answer. "That must be Jellal, I heard he's from a guild called Crime Sorciere and he's Erza's childhood friend."

Realizing there was a change of plans, Jula spoke. "You two, starting taking out a few ships, I'll help them."

Thorn was a little surprised. "Jula, are you sure?"

The Squid Fishwoman nodded. "Yes, once, I'm done getting those two safety, I'll join you guys."

Angela could see she wasn't budging from her choice, so, she decided to accept it. "Alright, be quick."

Erza ran over to the hole and feared for her friend's safety. "Kagura! Jellal!" Neinhart continued to smile and snapped his fingers. As he did, another flash of light occurred. Erza turned around and summoned out her sword to block another attack from a person she hasn't seen in a long time. She was shocked to see who it was. "You're here too?"

The woman chuckled as she smiled sweetly at her. "Did you think our paths wouldn't cross again?"

Former Death's Head Guild member and Trinity Raven leader; Ikaruga

It was unbelievable Ikaruga was standing before her. "Trinity's Raven is gone, I saw you die!"

Ikaruga simply giggled at her remark. "You merely released my soul."

Neinhart had a satisfied smile with Historia he created. "Ikaruga. A beautiful yet dangerous flower."

Meanwhile, below the boat, a large chain sank to the bottom along with Kagura and Jellal. She struggled to get free. "I can't die here with you, Erza needs my help." She managed to free herself and swim up while looking at her brother's killer. "He's a murder...he killed my brother."

Just then she heard something swim behind her. "Huh..." She saw Jula swimming down towards her. "Jula..." A bubble coral was tossed to her. "Kagura, use to blow a bubble around your head."

Kagura caught the coral. "Alright." She blew a bubble from the coral. "Thanks, but..." She abruptly stopped as she saw Jula swimming down towards Jella. "Hey, what are you doing?"

Jula thought the other woman's question was unnecessary. "What do you think, I'm helping Jellal."

Kagura was stunned. "What, why do that?" Jula took out another bubble coral from her pocket. "Jellal, you're going to be okay." She blew out a bubble around Jella's head. "Let's get to the surface!"

Kagura's stunned expression didn't leave her face as she followed the Squid Fishwoman to the surface.

Back on the ship, Erza tried her best to parry and deflect all of Ikarguna's attacks but one managed to slip through and cut her left shoulder. To the former Trinity Raven swordswoman, Erza wasn't the opponent she fought before. "You're not the warrior I remember from years ago, perhaps the edges of time have dulled your edge."

Another light occurred appeared behind Erza and another person came into being. "It must be her wounds, the Erza I fought was fierce and powerful."

Former Grimoire Heart Guild member and Seven Kin of Purgatory: Azuma

Neinhart chuckled with amusement.

Erza turned around in time for Azuma to prepare for his attack. "Let me see, have you lost your strength?" Izuma asked. "Or are you just hiding it!?" He extended his left arm and two large roots sprouted from the deck and underneath Erza. She managed to evade them by jumping into the air and away from them.

However, Ikaruga quickly approached her and drew her sword instantly then sheathed it while Erza had to deflect multiple slashes with her sword. More roots appeared and all of them were headed straight for Erza. She quickly evaded them as soon as she fend off Ikaruga's attacks. Multiple small orbs appeared before Azuma. "Bleve!" All of them exploded onto Erza and sent her sliding across the deck. She didn't have time to recover as Ikaruga jumped into the air and dodged to the side to avoid her next slashing attack that destroyed the part of the deck. After avoiding the attack, a root managed to wrap Erza's angle and Azuma waved his arm across to fling her across the ship. He then put his arm out again and countless branches were sent over to Erza. "Remember my Ramus Sica!"

Ikaruga jumped above Erza and spun her body around while descending toward her. "Mugetsu-Style: Yasha-Senku!" She unsheathed her sword and both attacks struck Erza simultaneously. She screamed out in pain and crashed back onto the deck.

Seeing Erza struggle like this was amusing to Neinhart. "The Historia that these fools have is the kind of struggles they went through. How splendid, this is my magic: Historia of Corpses! With it, I bring battles into old ones!" A third Historia appeared between Ikaruga and Azuma and she was another powerful foe that Erza fought in the past.

Former Tartaros Guild member and Nine Demon Gates, Goddess of the Slave Planet: Kyouka

"These souls never meet before having the chance to fight as friends!" Neinhart then put his arms out. "NOW SPREAD FORTH! HISTORIA OF CORPSES!"

Gray and Lyon felt a strong chilling wind blowing their way. They looked at the direction the wind was coming from and saw multiple giant pillars of ice sprouting out of the ground one after another heading their way. When the final one sprouted, they saw a woman walking toward them. A woman they both knew very well. The woman who taught them Ice-Maker-Magic and sacrificed her life to defeat the powerful demon known as Deliora. "I think it's time I shape you, boys, up."

Gray and Lyon's former master: Ur

Meredy was surprised to see a familiar former ally she saw die eight years ago back on Tenrou Island. "Zancrow!"

Zancrow laughed as he smiled wickedly at Meredy

Former Grimoire Heart Guild member and Seven Kin of Purgatory: Zancrow

"Juvia's entire body shook in fear as to what was happening right now. "How is this happening, the dear are..."

"Have the dead been revived...not quite..." Juvia gasped as she recognized the voice behind her and knew who it belonged to. "This is not the same necromancer...how fantasizing...one's memories of powerful foes they faced are returning for another battle..."

Former Tartaros Guild member and Nine Demon Gates, the Black Archbishop: Keyes

Wendy, Carla, and Cheila are confronted by a large demon that was long gone and defeated by Wendy herself. "Didja' miss me, ya' little runt?"

Former Tartaros Guild member and Nine Demon Gates: The Dojigiri: Ezel

Wendy stood up and glared at the former demon she defeated. "Oh no..."

Laxus, who was lying next to a wall resting is confronted by the former second guild master of Fairy Tail. "Now this...quite the sick and twisted joke.

The second guild master just stared back at the lightning dragon slayer. "So, Yuri's bloodline is still thriving."

Former Grimoire Heart Guild master and one of the four founders of Fairy Tail: Hades AKA Precht Gaebolg

Pango and Tigress confronted the old wizard. "Hey, leave him alone!"

"If you want to get through him, you'll have to go through us!"

Hades/Precht was taken off guard by a bit of what he was seeing. "Talking animals...quite intriguing...but, I have no time dealing with animals like you two." He smirked slightly. "I think you should say hi to someone that you both might be familiar with."

"Tigress...Pango..." A voice was heard from the two minks and they turned around to see a Polar Bear Mink, who had his arms crossed and smiling. He wore sunglasses and had a cutlass hanging on his back.

Zepo

Polar Bear Mink

Former member of the Nox Pirates

Older brother of Pepo

"You two have grown a bit since the last time I saw you," He said his smile not leaving his face.

Pango and Tigress were silent about seeing the deceased polar bear mink that died at the hands of Big Mom until Pango spoke; "Zepo..."

Laxus heard this. "So, that guy is an old friend. Talk about another twist."

Erza screamed in pain as she was tossed across the deck from Kyouka and the other two Historia and they weren't close to being done with their old enemy. "Surely you still have the power to stand, Erza?"

Azuma disliked the display that has gone so far. "Get up, I wish to get a taste of your strength once again."

Neinhart laughed in agreement. "Yes, what a beautiful moment of creation! Your hearts will the fertile soil which my Historia had sprung!"

Away from the ship, Jula gently placed on the pier. "Jellal, are you okay?" No response as she pressed her head against his chest. "He swallowed some water still."

Kagura eventually arrived on the pier. "Jula!" She was currently out of breath and stared at her brother's killer. "How is he?"

Jula didn't turn around to face the other swordswoman. "He's barely breathing, I can assume that he swallowed some water."

Kagura began to walk towards the two. "Alright, we can't waste this opportunity, let me use this chance to avenge my-" She stopped abruptly as she saw Jula glancing at her with a disappointed look on her face.

"Is that what you should be thinking about?" Her disappointed look didn't leave her face. "First off, I'm grateful that you helped save my home, everyone on the island is, and no doubt that they still are. I thought you were an honorable woman but, now that I see what you're trying to do this man..." She began to tremble. "Well, I don't want to say it...however, may I remind you that we're in a war that'll determine the fate of your home not mention your friends and the civilians too. Do you want them to lose their home and lives?"

Kagura was silent as her hand shook as it got near her sword's handle and took hold of it. Her hand continued to tremble but something inside was keeping her from doing anything she would regret later. "Let me revive him..."

Jula smiled at the other woman and walked away. "Thank you." She jumped into the water and swam back to the location where the other ships were at.

Kagura sighed for a moment and then she got on her knees to perform CPR on Jella in hopes of resuscitating him and prayed he would wake up. "Live!"

Back in the battle battlefield.

"Geez, these guys won't let up," Nami groaned as she was done electrocuting some soldiers.

Usopp agreed with the navigator's comment. "No joke, they're more persistent than the navy,"

"No prob...we'll just do what we can," Franky said with a huge grin.

"Tahahahaha!" A loud laugh was heard coming from inside a dirt smoke. "Quite the battle we have going on here!"

Franky froze at the voice he was hearing.

"Looks like we got an enemy coming the dirt smoke!" Nami pointed.

Usopp prepared to fire where the voice was coming from. "Roger, ready to aim and fire!"

A large Fishman came out of the dirt smoke. "I have to admit the people here must fight with a lot of gusto!"

"He's a Fishman!" Chopper exclaimed.

"Why is there another Fishman here?" Nami asked.

Franky got off his Rhino-like motorcyle. "No way!" His crewmates turned to see Franky in disbelief and tears started to form at the corner of his eyes. He never thought of meeting his mentor again and the man that created the Sea Train thus making the impossible possible. "Tom...it...can't...it...can't be..."

"Tom!" Nami quickly recognized that name.

Tom looked closely at the huge man. "Huh...Franky...is that you..." He began to laugh louder than ever. "You changed, you must've bulked up or something!" He began to calm down and smiled brightly. "Nice to see you again, Franky!"

Tom

Long-horned cowfish Fishman

Former Shipwright at Tom's Workers/Teacher of Franky and Iceberg/Older brother of Den\Creator of the Sea Train: The Puffing Tom

Franky's jaw practically fell as the tears began to fall down his cheeks. "Uhhh...uhh...Tom...Tom...TOM!"

Away from everyone else, Leone was busy killing as many of the enemy soldiers as she could find. Right now, she was in a different part of the harbor, but her lion ears could hear all kinds of noises from far away. She looked in the direction where she heard what was happening. "What the hell is going out there? I thought we were winning this thing." Things became worse than better for her. While she was looking away, a strong sense took over her entire body, and jumped away from her current position. As she did, something struck the ground the blonde previously stood, and dust kicked up everywhere.

Leone landed on the ground and turned around with her claws ready and smiled at her victims. "Alright, whoever is there prepare to get ready for some pain!" There was no response and that puzzled the blonde and that wasn't the only that was puzzling to her. "That's weird, I can't sense their aura. There's no way they know how to hide it otherwise they couldn't have gotten the jump on me. The only reason I avoided their attack in the first place was that my beast instincts sensed something dangerous was coming from behind me."

The dust cloud remained and so did the silence until Leone heard a voice coming from within. "Leone, good to see you again."

The instant Leone heard the voice, her heart immediately dropped. She thought she was just imagining things as her voice became shaky and so did her body. "There's no way...no..."

"Hey, Leone, long-time no see! How were you doing, sugar!"

As if the first voice wasn't enough to send Leone through a sense of disbelief, the second voice made her doubt entirely what was happening. A flood of emotions was running rampant throughout her body. The dust began to clear and she saw two people standing within it. One was a young girl with long purple hair who wore a sleeveless lilac cheongsam. She also wore glasses and wielded a pair of giant scissors. The other male wearing green armor with a black leather jacket over it and sported a familiar pompadour hairstyle. At that moment, the entire world seemed to have frozen over for Leone as she never expected to see it again. Two people worked under Night Raid and died. Right now, they're standing before her in Earthland and were smiling at her.
