Summary: Jai Yaoyorozu and his adopted sister, Momo Yaoyorozu, had long aspired to pursue a career as heroes, inspired by the achievements of famous heroes in the field. U.A. High serves as the crucial stepping stone for people with virtuous intentions to embark on the path of becoming heroes. Now that the siblings are much older, they have the opportunity to enroll in the prestigious academy and undergo training to pursue their aspirations of becoming heroes. The path toward becoming a hero is arduous and has always been so, but they're more than willing to undertake whatever measures are needed to achieve their goals. With the aid of Jai's Quirk, 'Chimera', and Momo's Quirk, 'Creation', they have the powers needed to ascend the upper echelons of their respective field, but that depends if they can take on the obstacles that await them. Can they do it? The pair believe they can.

[ACT I, CHAPTER I: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL]

It was precisely eight o'clock in the morning. Two teenagers, one boy and one girl, stood in front of a large mansion.

First off was the boy. The young man was taller than his partner and had a fair complexion with an athletic build. Moreover, his hair, a vibrant shade of crimson, was short and unruly, with a few strands hanging over his golden-yellow eyes. The redhead was wearing a school uniform, though in an unusual manner. For context, he was dressed in a gray blazer, with a whitish-gray hoodie underneath, paired with a white dress shirt and a red tie loosely wrapped around his neck. Finally, he wore black dress pants, and instead of formal shoes, he chose to wear white sneakers.

Next was the young woman. The girl was tall, though not as tall as her partner, and had a mature and slender figure. Her hair, a sleek shade of black, was expertly fashioned into a spiked ponytail and had a prominent strand of hair cascading down the right side of her face, gracefully hanging over her onyx eyes. Similar to her partner, she was also dressed in a school uniform, albeit a female variation, and was more formal.

The names of the teenagers were Jai and Momo Yaoyorozu. Jai and Momo were siblings, brother and sister, though Jai was actually adopted and brought into the kind Yaoyorozu family when he was a baby, while Momo was born into it. Though Jai looked older, he was the younger sibling, whereas Momo was the older one, a point she constantly liked to hold over her younger, 'baby brother'. The Yaoyorozu siblings were gifted a good life of luxury, leading some people to view them as spoiled brats, naive of the hardships faced by others, but it was important to note that those opinions were false, as the siblings were anything but spoiled. Both Momo and Jai were well-mannered, though Momo displayed a far higher degree of politeness than Jai; their parents instilled in them the principles of proper upbringing, ensuring that they developed a strong sense of value.

"Our masters." A maid gracefully stepped forward, her body slightly inclined in a respectful bow. "Do you have all the necessary items for school, today?" As the caretaker of the Yaoyorozu children, it was important to ensure that they had the necessary supplies for their first day of school.

Momo held up her backpack. "Of course." How could she forget her things for school? After all, they were vital.

"Yeah..." Jai lazily waved his hand, displaying a lack of enthusiasm or energy. "At least I think I do." Jai was not fully attentive as his focus was primarily on his Nintendo 3DS. Momo found herself shaking her head in disbelief at her younger brother's apparent lack of awareness or enthusiasm, particularly given the fact that he was on the verge of attending the most prestigious school in Japan. "I should be fine...I hope."

The maid woman smiled. "Excellent!" she rejoiced. "The transportation is prepared and waiting at the front for your arrival."

"We're grateful for the help, Ms. Shigoto." Shigoto, full name Kinben Shigoto, was the caretaker of Jai and Momo, but she was also the chief maid responsible for ensuring that all of the other maids were performing their duties appropriately. "Take care." Momo bowed, walking forward with Jai.

The maids of the Yaoyorozu estate bowed respectfully. "Do take care, masters!"

The Yaoyorozu siblings arrived at the front entrance of their home, where they were greeted by the presence of a formal, well-dressed man standing beside a luxury vehicle. The man, who was a chauffeur for the Yaoyorozu family, greeted the siblings, and they responded in kind with equal friendliness. The chauffeur courteously opened the rear door and gestured for Jai and Momo to proceed, to which they willingly complied.

The chauffeur looked at Jai and Momo through the rearview mirror. "U.A. High, correct?"

"Mhm." Jai reached into his pockets and pulled out earbuds, promptly plugging them into his portable game. "Hopefully, it won't take long."

The chauffeur chuckled. "Come now, Master Jai," he said with pride. "You have nothing to fear. Your parents hired me for a reason, after all."

With a hum of satisfaction, the chauffeur shifted his luxury vehicle into drive, causing the engine to purr to life. The chauffeur took a quick look in the rearview mirror to make sure the young passengers were settled and comfortable, and then, they maneuvered the vehicle out of its parking spot and onto the open road ahead. The Yaoyorozu siblings faced a long journey ahead, but they were unfazed by it. Jai, in particular, was content as he had his 3DS to entertain himself during the ride. Momo, on the other hand, sat quietly by the window, her attention fixed on the world outside; her mind a whirlwind of thoughts, but she kept them to herself, not wanting to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the room. Jai and Momo, despite engaging in different activities, found contentment in their own unique ways, as they became immersed in their respective worlds.

After a long ride, Jai and Momo's chauffeur finally reached their destination, the prestigious U.A. High School.

"Here we are," smiled the chauffeur. "Have a wonderful day and be on your best behavior. Remember, you represent the Yaoyorozu family."

The Yaoyorozu family's children said goodbye to their dependable chauffeur as he left, leaving them to rely on themselves.

The Yaoyorozu kids were awestruck as they faced their new school. "So this is the great U.A. High. Not bad. Not bad at all." Jai was the first of the two to express his thoughts. "It's bigger than what I thought it'd be." Momo agreed. The Yaoyorozus had heard countless legends of Pro Heroes who had attended UA High when they were kids, but they did not believe them, Jai more so than Momo due to the exaggerated nature of their tales.

"Let's head inside; we don't want to be late and lectured by a teacher." Jai nodded, not fond of the idea of being scolded, and so early, no less.

As the Yaoyorozu children entered the doors of U.A. High, they were welcomed by a ridiculously long hallway extending in front of them. The brother and sister duo were understandably impressed by the interior appearance. Upon viewing the aesthetic of the hallway, the siblings found themselves contemplating the visual appeal of the remaining areas. How much money was spent on construction? It must have been a big amount.

"Come on, Jai." Momo grabbed Jai's hand, surprising him, and dragged him along with her, much to his displeasure. "We will not be late."

Jai rolled his eyes. "Okay, but can you stop dragging me?"

As the Yaoyorozus set out on their journey, they met many teachers, each interesting in their own way; their chill nature was a breath of fresh air, particularly because they didn't hate kids. Jai couldn't understand why people who hated kids would pick a job revolving around them. It was odd.

After minutes spent walking and mingling, which felt like hours in Jai's eyes, the Yaoyorozu siblings arrived at their room, which had the label '1-A' on the door. As Jai and Momo stepped into the classroom, they saw a vast expanse of empty space. The room was a blank canvas, devoid of any signs of life. Not a single soul was present to share in the experience, leaving the two of them to explore the vastness of the room on their own. Momo breathed a sigh of relief as she arrived on time, her heart. Meanwhile, Jai let out a deep sigh, his mind racing with thoughts of how others would perceive him if he was the first one there; he usually didn't pay much attention to what people thought of him, but this time was different.

For some reason, Jai felt the need to point out the obvious. "Hey, we're the only ones here. Why don't we leave, and when we come back-"

"Nope." Momo stuck a hand in Jai's face, much to his annoyance. "Not happening. There's no point in doing so. We're better off waiting here."

Jai huffed, crossing his arms. "Alright, fine, we'll do it your way, sister of mine." The younger brother would argue with his older sister, with emphasis on the word 'would', but he doubted that he would win. The redhead had learned from a young age, after living with his older sister since they were infants, that it was strongly discouraged to engage in arguments with her. "We could use the time to explore other places, but whatever."

"Someone has to be the reasonable one, and that someone is me." Momo had a smug smirk on her face. "Let's pick a seat."

Jai and Momo picked two desks centered at the back of the classroom. Momo reached into her backpack and pulled out the novel she had been reading lately. Jai, on the other hand, went back to playing his 3DS, completely shutting out the mundane reality around him, but his trance was short-lived as his gut growled loudly, disrupting the peace with a cacophony of unpleasant sounds. The red-haired boy's stomach was making a ruckus, a noisy symphony of gurgles that he couldn't ignore; he sprang from his desk and bolted out of the classroom, leaving Momo confused.

"What's up with him?" Momo asked before shaking his head. "He better not embarrass himself. I won't be reliving the middle school incident."

Jai dashed through the corridors like a wild madman, his eyes scanning frantically for a sanctuary, a restroom to relieve his pressing needs. With each stride, the boy's feet pounded hard against the pavement, his heart beating in intensity and anger until he collided with a female student, sending her tumbling to the ground; he was fortunate enough to avoid injuring her because he wasn't sprinting through the corridors too fast.

"Shit!" Jai felt like an asshole for what he did. Goddammit! It was his first day and he was screwing up! "I'm so, so sorry; are you okay?!"

The female student made eye contact with Jai and nodded in response. "Yeah, ribbit." Jai was relieved. "Accidents happen."

Jai grabbed his fellow student's waist and casually lifted her before setting her back on her feet. "Again, I'm sorry." Jai trod carefully on his first day at school, wary of unwittingly sparking animosity amongst his fellow students and starting something he might not be able to finish. The prospect of someone scheming against him was the last thing he desired. "I was looking for the bathroom and ignored everything that was beyond me."

"As I said, it's fine, ribbit." The female student didn't seem to be too angry even though she was knocked down not too long ago. No use crying over spilled milk as the adage goes. "I'm not hurt, and I'm definitely not dead, so you have nothing to worry about; just be more careful next time." Jai took the girl's words into consideration, though he really didn't have to as it was common sense, and the 'no running in the halls' rule that schools enforced existed for a reason. "It's for the best that you ran into me instead of a teacher. I don't think they would let you off so lightly."

"Yeah, you have a point." Jai agreed as his stomach rumbled again. "Motherfu...look, I would love to chat, but I have to use the bathroom."

The girl pointed to the boys' restroom, which was adjacent to her and Jai. "It's over there."

"Huh." Jai was surprised and slightly embarrassed that he had not seen that earlier. "Well, shit." Jai's stomach rumbled loudly "Speaking of shit."

WHOOSH!

Jai stormed into the bathroom and darted into the closest stall.

"He's a weird one..." The girl murmured to nobody except herself. "But at least he's nice."

"That's the last time I eat a big breakfast...oh, who the hell am I kidding? I'll most likely do it again." Jai had a big appetite and enjoyed food, to the point of it being somewhat excessive, though it may have had something to do with his quirk. "Not my fault Shigo is a damn beast in the kitchen."

Jai didn't take long to reach his classroom, but upon arrival, he found that two students, presumably his classmates, were blocking the entrance. Among the classmates that were mentioned, there was a timid, freckled-faced boy with fluffy green hair who had an anxious expression on his face and a peppy girl with auburn hair who exuded an abundance of energy. The pair were engaged in a conversation, with the girl doing most of the talking, while the boy was just trembling in fear. Jai didn't know who the unknown pair were, but he was more concerned with getting back to class.

"Um, excuse me?" Jai said, gaining the pair's attention. "I don't want to be that guy, but you're in the way. I need to get through."

The green-haired boy tensed up. "O-Oh! I'm terribly sorry!"

"My bad," the brown-haired girl apologized, moving to the side. "I didn't see you there, which is strange since you're so tall."

Jai chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his head. The redhead wasn't sure about how to feel when someone called him tall; he neither felt annoyed nor took the compliment with pride. To be honest, he was indifferent about his height...most of the time, anyway. "It's alright, guys." Jai stepped into his classroom but paused to face his new classmates. "Quick question: given that we're classmates and all that, who are you two, exactly?"

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka," the brown-haired girl said, treating Jai with a warm smile on her face. Jai could not help but acknowledge that the young woman was cute, even though he would never say it, and her bubbly, happy-go-lucky attitude was the cherry on top. "A pleasure to meet you."

"Izuku Midoriya," replied the green-haired boy with a more timid smile on his freckled face. Jai analyzed the green-haired boy. At first glance, the young man may not have appeared impressive, but Jai could sense that there was more to him than meets the eye. "A pleasure to meet you, too."

Jai smiled. "The name's Jai Yaoyorozu," he greeted, shaking Uraraka and Midoriya's hands. "Hope we can become good friends in the future."

"If you're finished with the introductions, I'd like to start class."

Jai, Midoriya, and Uraraka turned their heads slowly to see the presence of a man dressed in ragged attire, wrapped in a yellow sleeping bag.

"What is that?" It seemed that all the students had a strange collective consciousness, as they all unknowingly asked the same question.

"If you're only here to buddy-buddy with the other students, you can pack your belongings and leave right now." The children of 1-A could only stare at the homeless man, wondering whether he was their homeroom teacher or someone else. It seemed impossible for anyone else to have gained entry into the building, leading them to conclude that it must indeed be their instructor. "Welcome to UA's hero course, future Pro Heroes."

Joel blinked twice in confusion. "A hobo...?"

"It took you eight seconds to pipe down," said the hobo-like teacher. "That won't work since time is valuable; reasonable pupils would see this."

Zane examined the emo teacher. "He seems lovely..." Lovely was putting it nicely. "He must be a Pro Hero or something if he's able to come here with no problems. Honestly, he looks like one of those homeless people you see loitering in front of a convenience store or beneath an old bridge."

"I'm Shoto Aizawa," greeted the black-clad teacher. "And I'll be your homeroom teacher."

"HOMEROOM TEACHER?!" Class 1-A exclaimed in shock and awe.

Jai seemed surprised by the revelation. "They'll let anyone become a teacher these days..."

Class 1-A were on the P.E. grounds, wearing their gym uniforms. The students were dressed in blue jackets with white lines that formed the letters 'U' and 'A,' as well as blue pants with white vertical lines that ran upward and joined with the 'A'. Zane was wearing his gym uniform, too, but he had his jacket wrapped around his waist, displaying a white and black T-shirt. Jai wondered what he and his classmates were going to do; they were absent from the auditorium during orientation, so they might have been about to do something serious. Whatever it was, the boy was ready.

"Today we'll be doing a Quirk Apprehension Test." Quirk Apprehension Test? Neither Zane nor his classmates have ever heard of that before.

Uraraka was the first person to voice her personal opinions. "But what about orientation?" she asked. "If we do testing, we'll miss it."

Aizawa sighed internally. Why did the rookies always have to make things difficult for him? "Look, kid, if you want to make it to the big leagues, you can't spend your time on pointless get-togethers and ceremonies." Aizawa turned to face his students. "Here at UA High, we're not tethered to traditions. And what does that mean, exactly? It means I get to run my class the way I see fit. You all have been taking standardized tests most of your lives, but you never got the chance to use your Quirks in physical exams before." Aizawa held up a phone. "The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel; it's not rational. One of these days, the Ministry of Education will learn."

Jai, confused, leaned in close to Momo, who was standing next to him. "You getting any of this, sis?" he whispered. "I know I'm not."

"Yeah, but not all of it," Momo replied.

Aizawa turned to face a thuggish, blonde-haired student. "Katsuki Bakugou, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam," said the hobo-like teacher, receiving a nod from his student. "Tell me, what was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in junior high?"

Surprisingly, Bakugou had to give it some thought. "I think it was sixty-seven meters or higher, I don't remember."

"Here..." Aizawa tossed a small ball at Bakugou, who caught it with ease. "I want you to do it again with you Quirk. See how far you can throw it." Bakugou wasn't sure what the point of throwing a ball was, but he wasn't going to complain. "You can do it however you like, just stay in the circle."

"Whatever you say..." Bakugou walked into a white circle, stretching his arms. "I'll add a blast to the pitch, and blow these extras away."

The palm of Bakugou's hand glowed bright orange as miniature explosions danced around it. A young boy with blonde hair confidently stepped forward, channeling his strength into a powerful throw. With the help of his explosive Quirk, he launched the ball high into the air. Naturally, all of the people, except for Aizawa and a scarred boy with white and red hair, were absolutely astounded by the pitch, particularly the explosive impact.

"Know your maximum first..." Aizawa said lazily, watching as Bakugou's ball dropped to the ground. When it came to heroism, the instructor wasn't one for theatrics; in his eyes, All-Might was a pain in the ass when it came to that. "That's the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero."

"750 meters?" If Jai claimed he wasn't impressed by Bakugou's throw, then he'd be a liar. "I'm not sure if I can do that, even with Chimera."

"Wow, this looks like fun!" exclaimed a pink girl with alien-like features. "I wanna try!"

"We can use our Quirks as much as we want!" said a black-haired girl with weirdly shaped arms. "As expected from the hero course!"

"You're awfully giddy about this." Aizawa's tone became dark. "I wouldn't get happy if I were you. You have three years to become heroes. Will you have an attitude like that the entire time? Go out into the world and assume being a hero's some kind of game. I hope not. Like I said, I run my classes however I see fit. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."

"WHAT?!" Unsurprisingly, everyone was taken aback, except for Momo for some unknown reason. Expulsion? On the first freaking day?!

Jai blinked twice, no, thrice, in surprise and confusion. "Expelled for failing?" Jai turned to Momo, wanting to know her personal thoughts on the issue. "He can do that? I thought the principal had that power." Honestly, the idea of a teacher being able to expel a student sounded absurd to Jai.

"Apparently." Momo was noticeably calm about the revelation. "I don't think Jai or any of our classmates know Mr. Aizawa's lying, but I certainly do."

"Crap, crap, crap..." Toshinori Yagi, or All-Might, as he was generally known, was sitting in the principal's office, albeit in an emancipated state, thanks to an injury he sustained a few years ago. "Midoriya has Aizawa for his teacher. There's no doubt in my mind that the kid will face trouble."

Toshinori was teaching Midoriya and was a big reason why they were able to attend U.A. Toshinori was the bearer of One For All, a powerful Quirk that has been passed down for generations and grants the user amazing power. Toshinori chose to bestow his Quirk upon Midoriya due to the latter's admirable character and heroic actions, despite the lack of a Quirk; he's guiding the boy in honing his power and gaining mastery over it.

"Aizawa is a hardass in every sense of the word." Toshinori knew Aizawa and had a good relationship with him...mostly, but the man was stern; everything he did was for a reason. The hero world was dangerous, no doubt about it, and he didn't want the next generation to fall by a villain.

Toshinori could only hope Aizawa wouldn't give Midoriya a hard time, but knowing the teacher, he definitely would.

While the majority of the people in Class 1-A were experiencing heightened levels of distress, Midoriya found himself particularly overwhelmed, despite his efforts to conceal his anxiety. "Punished with expulsion?!" The hero-worshipper was shaking in his boots. "Not good. Not good at all." Midoriya raised his hands. Sure, the green-haired boy had One For All, but he couldn't use it appropriately, so he had a problem on his hands.

Uraraka was the first person to voice her complaints. "Expulsion on the first day?!" she exclaimed, puffing her cheeks. "That's not fair at all!"

"Fair?" Aizawa shook his head. "You're young, so I don't expect you to get it. One thing you should know about the world, Uraraka, is that it's unfair." There was truth to Aizawa's words. As much as the scruffy man hated to admit it, the world was unfair. "Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted. Japan is littered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. You're here to become heroes, not fool around. For the next three years, U.A. will do all it can to give you one hardship after another."

"Geez." Jai scratched the back of his head. "Teach's hardcore. We're in for a wild ride, but I like the challenge." Jai was a thrill-seeker who was always eager to take on adventures and challenges, especially if it meant throwing hands. It was one of the things that separated him from Momo.

Aizawa smiled creepily. "I hope you've prepared yourselves, kiddos," he said, scaring a few students. "I'll be putting you through the wringer."

TEST 1: 50-METER DASH

The 50-meter dash was easy to accomplish. Two students would compete in a short race while their speed is being measured simultaneously. The first pair of students was a black-haired kid with glasses and engines on his calves; the bespectacled boy's name was Tenya Iida. Facing off against Iida was the green-haired girl Jai accidentally knocked over earlier; the frog-like girl's name was Tsuyu Asui, though she insisted on people, mainly her friends, referring to her as Tsu. Jai was surprised to see Tsuyu in the same class as him, but he wasn't going to say it vocally...not yet, at least.

A gunshot sounded out from a U.A. robot, and Iida and Tsuyu took off. Iida had the speed advantage because of his Quirk, Engine, which gave him extraordinary speed and allowed him to outperform Tsuyu. Tsuyu was a fast girl, but she wasn't able to catch up to Iida, who passed the finish line.

Tenya Iida: 3.04 seconds

Tsuya Asui: 5.58 seconds

Following was Uraraka's turn, where she would be competing against a blonde-haired boy named Mashirao Ojiro, who possessed a unique Quirk—an incredibly strong tail. Ojiro was getting ready, while Uraraka was touching her shoulders and feet, using her gravity Quirk to make them lighter.

The U.A. robot emitted a gunshot sound, which Uraraka and Ojiro perceived as their signal to run. Although Uraraka made herself lighter for the sake of running faster, Ojiro was still able to beat her. The gravity manipulator was a little disappointed by her defeat, but at least she did good.

Mashirao Ojiro: 5.49 seconds

Ochaco Uraraka: 7.15 seconds

Following Uraraka and Ojiro was another blonde-haired boy competing against the pink girl with alien-like characteristics. The blonde boy was Yuga Aoyama, and the girl was Mina Ashido. Aoyama's Quirk involved shooting lasers from his belly button, while Mina could produce deadly acid.

BANG! A gunshot sounded off, and it was time to start running. Aoyama turned around and jumped off the ground, and with his Quirk, he pushed himself moving forward with his Navel Laser. Mina, on the other hand, was moving around through the use of her acid, almost as if she were ice skating. Aoyama initially had the upper hand in terms of speed, but his laser gradually lost its power and eventually became inactive. As a result, the blonde dropped to the ground, giving Mina the chance to pass him. Aoyama was embarrassed, but he was able to recover and finish the test.

Yuga Aoyama: 5.51 seconds

Mina Ashido: 5.51 seconds

After Aoyama and Mina were Midoriya and Bakugou. Bakugou growled, looking at a nervous Midoriya from the corner of his eye. It was clear to anyone that Bakugou was furious—furious at Midoriya for being in U.A. High alongside him—and even more furious that they were in the same class. The green-haired nerd was going to fail, and Bakougou was going to make sure of that. Midoriya was apprehensive, and he had every reason to be; he had to make sure he wouldn't get expelled on his first day, and he was going up against his bully. Luck was not on his side, unfortunately.

A gunshot sounded off, and with impressive speed, Bakugou sprang into action, launching himself into the air with the force of his explosions, leaving Midoriya trailing behind. Bakugou was far faster than Midoriya and crossed the finish line in no time at all, whereas Midoriya took his time.

Katsuki Bakugou: 4.13 seconds

Izuku Midoriya: 7.02 seconds

Midoriya was breathing heavily. "Kacchan beat me, and it wasn't even a challenge," he said internally. "I'm sure everyone will use their Quirks to produce some extraordinary results. I have power, but if I use it, I'll break my bones, and I don't want that, especially when my goal is on the line."

After Midoriya and Bakugou were Jai and the boy with red and white hair. Shoto Todoroki was the name of the boy; he had the unique ability to control both fire and ice, although he solely relied on his ice power. Jai found Todoroki to be a bit odd, but he didn't want to make assumptions.

"Let's get this show on the road..." Jai gritted his teeth as his body transformed. Small golden horns emerged from the sides of his head, his teeth became sharper, he grew slightly taller and gained some muscle mass, and his claws turned razor-sharp. Everyone, except for Momo, who knew her younger brother could change his body, and Aizawa, who was vexed by the theatrics, was taken aback by Jai's transformation. "Perfection..."

The U.A. robot emitted a gunshot sound, prompting Jai and Todoroki to take off. Almost immediately, Todoroki used his ice Quirk to freeze the ground beneath him, consequently freezing Jai's feet in the process, and dashed forward before using his ice to skate across the ground. Jai growled as his legs were encased in ice, but not for long, as he used his inhuman strength that came with his Quirk to break free and dash forward.

Todoroki was nearing the finish line when, to his disbelief, Jai passed him. Jai had to thank Chimera for his victory. Chimera was a mutant-type Quirk Jai had. According to the doctors, the redhead's Quirk gave him the physical characteristics of animals and also heightened his power, allowing him to reach monstrous levels of strength. Unfortunately, he was still inexperienced with his Quirk and couldn't use it to its full potential. The only thing Jai could do was boost his stats, like strength, speed, durability, etc, but was told he could gain a monster form if he trained hard.

Shoto Todoroki: 5.00

Jai Yaoyoruzu: 4.90

"Damn, I almost lost," Jai said walking up to Momo. "That ice guy' pretty cool, no pun intended, of course."

Momo couldn't help but shake her head in mild amusement. "Jai, you are aware that the purpose of the 50-meter dash is to determine our speed rather than to race, right?" Jai stared at Momo before shrugging his shoulders. Even if he was running to have his speed assessed, he was having fun, despite the fact that he wasn't meant to. "In any case, we did well. I got 7.00, but I think I could've done better. We've definitely gotten faster."

"Damn straight, sister." Jai lifted his leg, showing his calf muscles. "I think we'll ace these tests."

Momo smirked, patting her younger brother's shoulders. "You're confidence never ceases to amaze me, baby brother."

TEST 2: GRIP STRENGTH

The next strength test for Class 1-A was a grip test, in which they gripped an electronic dynamometer measure to determine their strength. Everyone was able to get their grip strength measured, some were good, while others were alright at best, though Jai was facing a problem.

"Well...this is, uh, embarrassing." Jai was currently holding a destroyed dynamometer as he gripped it too tightly, thus breaking it as a result. The red-head had his Chimera to blame, which was one of the reasons why he needed better control of it. "I should ask Mo' if she can make me a one."

Uraraka and Midoriya was wide-eyed with surprise. "Woah, you broke the grip!" Uraraka said in complete awe. "That's amazing!"

"You must have a strength augmentation Quirk." Midoriya was equally awed, poking the destroyed dynamometer. "It has to be the answer."

Jai chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "My Quirk, Chimaera, grants me many things, one of which is superhuman strength," he explained. "I applied too much power to my grip, and before I knew it, this thing was broken. Hopefully, U.A. can help me get control of my Quirk."

"The best I got was 56.0 kilograms," Midoriya said holding up his own dynamometer. "It's not much, it's something. I think I could've done better."

Jai patted Midoriya's shoulders. "Don't beat yourself up, chief," he said. "You did well enough not to fail, and gripping doesn't necessarily determine how strong you are." Jai's words held truth to them. "You've got a solid build. I can tell you've been lifting for a while." That was true. Prior to enrolling at U.A., Midoriya underwent an intensive training regimen under the guidance of All Might for a duration of ten months. During that time, he dedicated himself to various physical tasks, including picking up trash at Dagobah Beach. Midorya had changed, though he was still geeky.

"T-Thanks..." Midoriya wasn't used to people complimenting him, aside from his mother and All Might.

TEST 3: STANDING LONG JUMP

Following the previous test was the standing long jump test, where the students were required to jump as far as possible. The test seemed effortless for certain students, such as Bakugou and Aoyama, who effortlessly traversed the sand with their Quirks that allowed them to move in the air, but for students like Midoriya, the task proved to be more challenging, particularly for Midoriya himself. Until the green-haired boy improved his Quirk control, he was just like any other person. For Jai, jumping was simple; when it was his turn to run, he sprinted before squatting, then jumping high, moving across the sand and even passing the line before landing. Jai turned to the spectators and gave them two peace signs.

TEST 4: REPEATED SIDE STEPS

Following the standing long jump test, students were required to perform side steps as quickly as possible. Overall, it was rather simple.

TEST 5: Ball Throw

The ball throw came next. Some students demonstrated a remarkable ability to launch the ball to great heights, while others didn't possess the same level of proficiency. Surprisingly, one person managed to get infinity, and that person was Uraraka, though her gravity Quirk played a huge part in it. Just like everyone else, Jai did the ball test and achieved a nice score of 500, although he believed he could have performed even better.

Midoriya was the last student to go up, and he was nervous. "Alright, it's now or never..." Midoriya gulped loudly. "I can do this. I have to do this. If I fail, then...then I can kiss my dreams of being a hero goodbye." Midoriya's lifelong aspiration was to become a hero, and he was determined not to let anything stand in his way. Failure was not an option for him, as he was committed to securing a bright future. "I need to give it everything I got."

Midoriya's unwavering determination was evident as he confidently moved forward, his right arm emitting a vibrant orange glow while his veins pulsed with a fiery red. The current inheritor of One For All was about to throw the ball at full power...until he threw it normally. Hold on, what?

"What?" Midoriya watched in disbelief as his ball dropped a few feet away from him. "I could've sworn I was using One For All's power."

"I erased your Quirk..." Midoriya slowly turned to find Aizawa approaching him, his eyes glowing red, and his hair and scarf standing upright. Evidently, Aizawa wasn't happy with what he saw. "That entrance exam was definitely not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted."

"You...you erased my Quirk?" Midoriya was initially confused until it finally clicked. "Wait, I know you! You're the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head."

Aizawa's Quirk was Erasure, meaning he had the power to erase people's Quirks, though it was only temporary.

"Eraser Head? Can't say I know the guy."

"I've heard of him; he's an underground hero."

Unbeknownst to everyone, Toshinori was observing from afar in his muscular form. Toshinori knew Aizawa was going to make it difficult for Midoriya, but he had to see it for himself. Hopefully, the black-clad teacher wouldn't be too hard on the nervous boy, but that was wishful thinking.

"From what I can tell, you can't control your Quirk, can you?" Aizawa asked sternly. "Tell me: do you intend to break your arm again and be saved?"

Midoriya shook his head. "N-No!" he answered. "N-Not at all, s-sir. I-"

Before Midoriya could finish what he was going to say, Aizawa grabbed him by the scarf and yanked him close. "Whatever your intention is, I'm saying that's what those around you will be forced to do. In the past, there was an oppressively passionate hero who saved over a thousand people by himself and created a legend." Aizawa was talking about All Might, not that he'd say it outright. "Even if you have the same reckless valor, you'll just be decked and turn into a useless after saving one person. Izuku Midoriya. With the kind of power you have, you can't become a Pro Hero."

Sweat was trembling down Midoriya's face, the freckled-face boy wanting to deny his teacher's words. Was he really unfit?

Aizawa sighed as he deactivated his Quirk, his eyes returning to their regular color and his hair falling down, as well as his scarf. "I've returned your Quirk," he said. "You have two turns for the ball throw. Hurry up and throw. Your last two throws will determine if my words have meaning or not."

"Y-Yes, sir..." Dejected and embarrassed, Midoriya grabbed his ball and slowly walked back into the circle. "What should I do? What should I choose? Should I let everything I can do hang on this one throw? Even All Might said that it wouldn't happen overnight." Midoriya gritted his teeth in anger. Dammit! Why was everything so flipping hard?! "This isn't any good! If that's my only choice, then I have to go all out. Give it my very best!"

Midoriya inhaled, then exhaled, prepared to throw his balls again.

"It's just as Mr. Aizawa said..." Midoriya began to take a few steps forward. "At this rate, there's no way I'll become a hero." Midoriya's finger emitted a vibrant orange glow, adorned with glowing red lines. The pupil was using One For All once again, channeling the power specifically into his fingers instead of his right arm. "I have to work a lot harder than other people! That's why, with all my power, I'll do what I can right here and now!"

Midoriya let out a resounding roar as he chucked his ball into the air with all his might. With the power of One For All, Midoriya's power surged, amplifying the force of his throw. The ground shook beneath the teen's feet, a strong gust of wind swept past, and his ball flew through the air.

Everyone, especially Toshinori and Eraser Head, was understandably shocked.

"Holy shit!" Jai exclaimed from afar.

Midoriya's finger was broken, but he could still manage. "T-Teacher..." Slowly, Midoriya turned to Aizawa. "I-I can still move!"

"Hmm..." Aizawa checked his phone. Midoriya's ball reached 705.3 meters. "Maybe you do have potential, after all."

Out of everyone, Toshinori was the most impressed. "I came because I was worried, but it looks like I had nothing to worry about," he said happily. "You still couldn't control your powers, but you also couldn't become incapacitated. You propelled the ball at the last point of contact by sending the power of One for All to just your fingertip, thus minimizing the injury while maximizing the power. Smart thinking, Midoriya. You're too cool!"

Back with Class 1-A, there were whispers in the air, but Jai was the most vocal. "That was awesome!" he said, like a kid watching an action movie.

All of the students were shocked, but Bakugou was the most shocked...but he was also angry, very angry. Deku with powers?! Bullshit! He was a Quirkless nobody! There was no way he had gotten powers unless someone was helping him. Yes! That had to be it! Deku was a total weakling.

"Sis, did you see that?!" Jai was shaking Momo back and forth, much to her annoyance. "I wonder what else he can do!"

LE BONK!

"Knock it off, Jai..." Momo bonked Jai on the head. It didn't hurt, but it was still uncomfortable. Momo let out a sigh at her younger brother's exuberance; he was always the wild and energetic one of the two. "Yes, I saw what happened. I'd much appreciate it if you calmed yourself down."

Though Momo didn't show it, she was impressed by Midoriya's power on display. "I wonder what's his Quirk," Jai mused. "Power augmentation?"

There was so much on Jai's mind, but one thing was certain: he was in for one hell of a time, and he was going to enjoy every single moment.

[TO BE CONTINUED]

And here we are with the first chapter! It's not much, but there'll be a lot more in the future, so look out for that if you can. We already know about the characters, so I'll talk about my character, Jai. As you know, Jai and Momo are siblings, brother and sister, and we also know that Jai's adopted. Jai's parents are still alive, but you'll learn why they aren't with him at a later point in the story. If I had to describe Jai, I'd say he's a friendly yet very chaotic soul with an unrelenting thirst for action and adventure, always ready to throw down with someone, especially if they're strong, or be part of the craziness in the world. Jai and Momo are inseparable, which only makes sense given that they were raised together. Jai's really protective of Momo, but not overly so, knowing she's more than capable of protecting herself. Overall, he's a wild child with a good sense of justice and cares deeply for his loved ones. As for Jai's Quirk, he has the same Quirk as Chojuro Kon from the second movie, Heroes Rising, though he can't use it as well as the latter can, but he'll get better over time. So what do you think? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Do you have any questions for me about anything or anyone? Please tell me in the comments, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. See ya!
