"So Ren ho do like Jaunes sword?" Nora asks Ren as they walk.

Neither of them had anything better to do, so they decided to just relax and take a look at the world around them, neither of them knew when Qrow would say, that it was time for them to leave for Beacon if he ever did.

Still, there was no guarantee that they would pass again, or that they couldn't get expelled again, so they needed to learn where everything in this part of the city was.

"He's strong."

"They're heavy." Ren says to Nora, that he never talked much, not because he didn't want to, but because he always tried to say everything with as few words as possible.

Ren could see Nora's bright smile dimmed slightly as she looked at the sword and sheath that he now held at his waist.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. Pyrrha's weapons aren't my thing either and it feels like a part of me is missing." She says to him before a cake shop catches her eye.

"Hey race you to the other side," Nora says to Ren before she vanishes, Ren can't help but smile when he sees the bakery, but at the same time, he can't help but feel confused.

Nora was always fast, but she was never this fast, before he even had a chance to run, she had already covered half the distance and would have crashed into the store had she not stopped running.

She still tripped and fell, but at least she managed to stop herself from destroying the store.

He tried to run after her, but the weight of Jaunes sheath and sword kept him from moving properly, as all of the weight was on one side of his body, and because both things were heavier than what they looked.

Nora had managed to stand up and dust herself off by the time he reached her and judging by the worried expression on her face, she knew that something was wrong with the two of them.

"I think that we should avoid getting into any fights." he says to her, and Nora nods in agreement as she looks at him.

They couldn't help but feel worried, Nora had always been the stronger of the two, and while she always kept up with Ren, she wasn't as fast as he was.

"Yeah." Nora says to him before she grabs his hand and leads him into the store.

The moment that they opened the door, the smell of freshly baked bread and sweets surrounded them.

This was rare for the two of them, it wasn't so rare anymore, as Nora had thrown herself into a sea of pancakes and sweets when they finally were able to afford them.

It was no different now, but for a couple of orphans, something like this always had a special place in their hearts.

It was small but it always felt exciting to be able to buy something like this and not have to steal it.

Ren watched as Nora began to point at everything that caught her eye, she was taking advantage of the fact that she didn't have to pay for anything.

From the corner of his eye, he noticed a black bird staring at them from outside of the window, it was on a streetlight, but Ren swore that the bird was watching them.

He had noticed the same bird before, but he decided to ignore it, just as he had done the other times when he had seen it.

It was most likely Qrow keeping an eye on them, after all, he had a couple of teenagers living in the same place, not to mention they were the opposite sex, so he needed to make sure that they didn't do anything that they weren't supposed to.
