The next three days Kurt and Blaine spend as much time together as they can. Kiss before school, bringing each other to their classes, holding hands under the table in classes they share. During their lunch break Blaine watches Kurt closely. Yes they fought but even before, when Burt was comatose, Blaine noticed that Kurt lost some of his appetite.

Not that it's dangerous but it's not like Kurt to eat only half of what he normally would. He doesn't need to lose weight and he doesn't want to because his clothes wouldn't fit anymore and he's satisfied with his body. Blaine thinks that it must be subconcious because he's just somewhere wlse with his mind. That's why he's happy when he sees that Kurt starts to eat a little more again. Not quite as much but it got better.

Once school's out Kurt, Blaine and Finn go home, arriving shortly before Carol has to go. Finn looks after Burt, seeing if he needs anything or help with something. Kurt and Blaine prepare lunch in the meantime and set the table. While doing so they sing along to Kurts playlist and continue while they do the dishes after lunch. In the afternoon they all do their homework together with Burt trying to help where he can. Still Blaine is the one helping the brothers if they have a question.

After dinner Kurt and Blaine go up to Kurts room. The other times they either watched tv or played games with Burt and Finn but today they want to have some time for themselves. So in Kurts room they change into something comfortable because Blaine is allowed to stay over tonight and they cuddle together under the covers before turning Kurts laptop on to watch a movie.

Kurt doesn't make it halfway through the movie before he falls asleep. But it's okay. The last days were exhausting and he truly earned the sleep. Blaine just watches the movie and lets Kurt sleep by his side. When the movie is over Blaine turns off the laptop and the lights before cuddling closer to his boyfriend and falling asleep.

In the middle of the night Kurt wakes up. He doesn't know why he did exactly. But he feels a little cold and thirsty, maybe that's what woke him. Quietly the boy stands up and goes to the kitchen to get something to drink. Two glasses of water later he goes back to his room. First he cuddles under the warm blanket and then closer to Blaine, getting as much bodywarmth from him as possible.

The next morning he still feels very tired but he needs to get up and go to school. Why did he had to wake up in the middle of the night? It led to an uneasy sleep from what Kurt didn't got much energy.

Still he gets ready and goes to school so he was at glee for at least two days. At lunch he doesn't feel much like eating, just wanting to be back in bed. He just eats a plain bagel and drinks a tea, which of course doesn't go unnoticed by Blaine but the latter decides not to say anything yet.

After school they have a lot to do still. Laundry, dishes, lunch and dinner, putting the clothes in the dryer and away and get Burt to his check up. Everything is fine and his recovery going well. That night Kurt falls in his bed, talking on the phone with Blaine but not even 20 minutes in his comfortable, warm bed and he's fast asleep. Luckily it's the weekend now and even tho Blaine, Pam and Angela have plans Kurt still plans to relax.

When Blaine notices that Kurt felt asleep on the phone he smiles. "Goodnight darling. Sleep well. I love you and talk to you tomorrow. See you on Monday" he whispers before he hangs up. Since it's not that late yet Blaine gets ready for bed and lays down before he turns off the light and spends almost two more hours watching TikTok videos.

The Hudson-Hummel house is no place to relax lately. Carol has to take a double shift at the hospital because someone called in sick last minute so the boys have to cook, go shopping, wash the car and do some work in the garden. The brothers split the chores between them and the two days. Monday in school they get their grades so the chores help Kurt a little to take his mind off the thought but on the other side he's exhausted.

Sunday evening Kurt calls his boyfriend and they plan the next morning together. Where to meet and after they get their grades where they meet to talk and tell each other what they got. After that they go to Kurts and want to do something and Kurt has the idea that after they did the dishes from lunch they could play some games with Burt and if Finn wants to also with him.

Like the days before it doesn't take Kurt long to falls asleep. How can it be that he's still so exhausted? Everything got easier and he had time to relax. But Kurt sleeps uneasy. Probably just the nerves because of the grades. He knows that he didn't do well but when he gets his grades he'll find out how bad it was and that will make it real. He wakes up at night again, cold, thirsty and with cold sweat on his forehead. This has to end soon. Tomorrow when they got their grades it hopefully will be over.

In school Kurt hardly can keep his eyes open but he powers through. He also somehow managed to keep mostly C's in school but also quite a lot of D's and an F in biology. Now he's exhausted and in a bad mood. There's only one person who can make it better. To bad that he still got french and get his grade there before he sees Blaine again and they go home together with Finn.

He got a D in his french paper and an E in his presentation. He never got worse than a B in french. It's a really really bad day. It started bad and keeps getting worse. But it's all forgotten for a moment when Kurt goes out of his class room where his boyfriend waits for him, picking him put so they can meet Finn outside. Blaine already opens his arms to give Kurt a hug, seeing the look on his boyfriends face. Kurt goes to him and holds him tight. When he's in Blaines arms everything feels a little better.

"Hey darling" Blaine greets and the other boy mumbles "Hey honey" back. "How are you?" the curly haired boy asks but Kurt just answers "Meh. Let's not talk about it. Can we go?". "Of course" Blaine says, breaking the hug but instead taking Kurts hand. On the way outside to Finn Kurt still starts talking about what he didn't wanted to while they hugged. Of course Blaine got A's but he gladly listens to Kurt ranting about his grades, especially in french, and giving him reasuring smiles. The next exams will be better again.
