Warning: ... FLUFF!
You have been warned.
"They were hired to kill you?" Yuuji expressed his shock as he held the tiger-print bread, its ear bitten off.
He and Ciel rode at the back seat of a moving car, with Ijichi at the wheel and Nanami seated at the passenger's seat. They left Gojo at the train station to take the captured sorcerer in for questioning, allowing the rest of them to leave before their companies would swarm the area.
"I believe so." Ciel rested one foot in front of the other, nonchalant over what she had just told as she ate her curry bread. "They knew my other title and general appearance. While I suppose it is possible that word simply got out, I was hoping it wouldn't be this soon."
Her description aside, for anyone to have known the name Bow is a serious breach no matter how small. It's liable to contaminate their discretion, and hidden dead apostles like Roa would be able to see her coming. It's not so much trouble that a little disguise and a new codename wouldn't help, but the fact of the matter was that someone got a hold of it, something that only selected members and the Burial Agency should know.
"It's possible my identity has been compromised. Our only solace was that they haven't said my actual name. Although, I'm not completely certain if they don't know it either..."
"We'll learn more once the school interrogates our attacker," Nanami adjusted his white coat Ciel thankfully returned. "I have my doubts, though, that we'll get much out of him. When he came to, he immediately started spouting nonsense and obscenities. We ended up having to gag him to keep him from disturbing the other passengers."
It was an unusual variant of professional killers, to say the least. Especially to oppose someone like an executor. With their only evidence destroyed, they couldn't tie to any potential suspects. At this point, it's speculations unless Gojo's able to get something out of that crazed man. Nanami couldn't be sure just how long those sorcerers had been following them, nor if they were the only ones.
It'll be problematic if that escaped sorcerer were to turn up again, especially if Yuuji gets involved. Worse that the assassin would report back to his benefactor and reveal that the vessel of Sukuna was still alive, leading to everyone hearing about it. Until the matter was settled and all the proper channels were investigated, there was only one resolution to this.
"I don't think he knows anything to begin with," Ciel responded, finishing her second curry bread for the closing afternoon. "He just seemed like he wanted to fight someone strong and turn me into furniture. It didn't sound like there was anything more to it than that. Either way, I take it as an official welcome to Tokyo."
A true experience of living in the big city.
It was such a casual statement, Ijichi wondered just how often was Ciel targeted in her line of work. Yuuji didn't seem so pleased to hear that, frowning at the bread in his hands.
Ciel noticed his reaction. Deciding to steer the conversation, she looked at the box beside him. "What do you have there, Yuuji-kun?"
"Oh! Right!" Yuuji finished his bread and lifted the present. "I got you something. Sensei and I made it together, but there's another surprise inside."
"Oh? A surprise for me?" Now wasn't that funny? Ciel smiled. "What a coincidence. I also got you a gift."
"Eh? Really?!" Such a reveal would have brought joy to anyone, but instead, Yuuji looked perturbed. He looked at the present in stressed contemplation. "W-What do we do? I was kind of hoping to treat you this time."
Ciel chuckled and huffed assertedly. "Well, you're just gonna have to deal with it."
She'll smother him with as many gifts as she liked to his last breath – the double-meaning behind that may be intentional or not.
"Ijichi-san? Would you mind dropping us off at the nearest café?" Ciel requested, wanting to accept Yuuji's gift at a more appropriate setting. "I like to get rid of this jet lag with something sweet after that long train ride."
"I'll have to interject," Nanami announced. "It's best not to make any more stops. You and Itadori-kun will have to stay in for tonight."
"Hm? What for?" Ciel asked, leaning her back against her seat. "We're far enough away from the train station. If you're worried about that other assassin, I can assure you that we're not being followed."
"You didn't seem to notice when those criminals were onboard."
"That's because they were already there before we got on."
"It was on a different train, which means they anticipated you being there."
"I doubt just anyone would be able to find me out of a hundred-thousand cafés in Tokyo. Ijichi-san. Please stop the car."
"Ijichi-san. Please keep driving."
"Ijichi-san…"
"Don't."
The man in the driver's seat was having a hard time deciding who to listen, afraid that if denied either he'll get a scolding or, worse, a glare. Yuuji did not envy Ijichi's position.
"Um. Well... Perhaps it is best to take Nanami-san's advice, Ciel-san." Ijichi sided with the grade one sorcerer, glancing up at the rear view mirror to spot the executor. "Until we're able to figure out what's going on. Just for tonight, at least."
Ciel lets out a small sigh and crossed her arms. "I really don't think there's anything to worry, but then again, I wouldn't want to drag Yuuji-kun into trouble (Yuuji: Awww, babe) if there's even a slim chance of that other man showing up. I'll comply this time. But I will have to leave for patrol."
"We'll discuss that later," Nanami said. "There may not be anyone following us, but we should still be cautious. We'll stop at another place in the meantime. You can leave for patrol then, provided we join you."
"Now you're just being paranoid. I should commend you for your diligence, though," Ciel said in a light tone, finishing her bread and dusting off the crumbs from her hands.
Despite having just been targeted, Ciel was in a surprisingly good mood. Being an experienced hunter and immortal probably had something to do with that (also the curry bread maybe). Still, it troubled Yuuji that someone was after Ciel now. First him, now her...
"This sounds like something we should take seriously, shouldn't we?" Yuuji asked. He was a little worried that Ciel was taking this too lightly, especially when it came to her life.
Hearing him and seeing his expression, Ciel offered a comforting smile. "I'm really not worried. It was going to come out one way or another, and I've already made preparations in case it happened. Besides, I managed to teach that obnoxious man a lesson. I'm sure I left him with enough teeth to answer any questions, though."
That was an understatement, as Yuuji recalled the amount of bruises that were on that rogue shaman's face. Hits that leave marks like usually guarantee a concussion - several of them, at least.
"Finally! You actually won a fight on your own!"
God dammit.
"Not that it's much to brag about. Only other idiot I know that gets caught up in his own trap is this bra-!"
Before Yuuji would rightfully swat the mouth of the curse, a red fabric gently fell around his head, and the mouth of Sukuna instantly disappeared.
"Huh?" Yuuji grabbed the red shroud that found itself around his shoulders. It's delicate material like silk, with a brilliant color that matched his hoodie.
"Good heavens. That thing really loves to hear himself talk, doesn't he?" Ciel said, tying the scarf-like material in front of Yuuji's chest. "Thankfully, we no longer have to endure it anymore. Consider that hound muzzled."
Yuuji's eyes widened. "Whoa. What did you do?"
"I called in a favor, and that favor was answered. I hope you like your gift, Yuuji-kun." Ciel warmly presented. "It's an artifact of the Church that a previous executor once owned."
Nanami looked over his shoulder, curious at the sight of the revealed gift as Ciel explained its properties.
"It actually used to belonged to a saint long ago. It does quite a bit, but most importantly, it acts as a sort of "purifier" that keeps the body "normal". In other words, as long as you wear that, not even that curse can just pop up whenever he wants to anymore."
"Hohhh!" Yuuji was amazed, looking at the shroud that settled around his neck. Just as Ciel promised, Sukuna did not pipe up another word. Silenced the second this fabric touched the boy's face. Damn, where was this a while ago? "Awesome! Thanks Ciel!"
Yuuji gently grasped Ciel's face and planted a kiss on her exposed forehead. An involuntary "eep!" out of Ciel by the open-displayed affection as the adults up front kept their eyes glued to the streets. Ijichi even being considerate enough to put a hand by his face so not to disrupt the moment this time.
A shroud that keeps even Sukuna at bay... Nanami wondered if that sort of item would have been useful during the detention center incident? An item like that could be very useful.
Aside from not hearing Sukuna's taunts, it could also ensure that the cursed king would not to take advantage of the boy's moment of weakness and switch with him involuntarily. A defense mechanism like that would be incredibly valuable. He wondered just how many strings Ciel had to pull to acquire it?
"My turn!" Yuuji said after letting go of Ciel, looking away her abashed face she clasped out of embarrassment and joy. "Guess this is a good time to give you this too. Hope you like it."
Ciel did her best to cool her face as she accepted the gift. She opened the box, and met the instant scent of sweetness. "-!"
Inside the box were little desserts. A slice of matcha cake in the corner, a few Danish pastries, and several cookies that lined up in a circle. At the center of the cookies, however, was an even smaller present, tied closed by a pretty little blue string.
"Yuuji-kun..." Ciel was at awe by the sight of the baked goods - instantly recognizing them to be made from scratch.
"I know how much you like green tea," Yuuji explained. "And since your trip to India left a strong impression, I thought you might like those cookies too. They're Nankhatai cookies. They're kind of like shortbreads with pistachios on top. It took a lot to save some of them. Sensei would not stop eating them."
Ciel could see why. With how adorable and delicious they looked, she was tempted to snatch a handful and eat it all up in one go. She minded her manners, however, and though wanted to dig in right away, she instead focused her attention onto the smallest present. "And this...?"
"That's my surprise to you." Yuuji said with a grin. "I saw it while we were on our way to meet you guys, and it reminded me of you."
Ciel couldn't fight off the giddiness in her, chuckling a little before she responded jokingly. "Oh my. You're not planning to propose to me, are you?"
*SCREEEEEEEEEECH!*
The sounds of stopped tires that skidded across the road. The riders were saved by their seatbelts and slumped back into their chairs. Ijichi looked very pale after nearly avoiding crashing into the back of a second car in front of his.
"...You're not, are you?" Nanami turned fully to address this. (Ijichi: "I'm sorry. I'm always ruining the moment.")
Yuuji was dumbfounded, his eyes narrowed incredulously. "We've only been dating for a month."
"That's not an answer."
Ciel blinked at the abrupt stop before clearing her throat, returning the boxed sweets she managed to save from falling to the floor and putting it on her lap. "Really now. I was only kidding..."
You'd think these men were her in-laws or something. She decided to save the present for later, clearly meant for a private audience.
"Where are we going anyway?" Yuuji asked, looking out the window and seeing an unfamiliar street.
"Until the situation cools down, we'll need to stay out of sight, and it might take us too long to reach the warehouse." Moreover, Nanami needed to ensure he could keep an eye on both sorcerer and executor in the same room. He positioned himself back into his chair as the traffic light ahead changed colors. "There's a place nearby that will suffice."
After saying their goodbyes to Ijichi who needed to leave to fill out a report, Nanami unlocked the front door and entered.
"Please take off your shoes by the entrance," Nanami requested as he brought in the bags of breads. The living room of the condominium had a classy, modern aesthetic, with white painted walls and oak-wood flooring. A large window that oversaw the street below, with a sole chair and coffee table beside it.
"How chique..." Yuuji said, removing his shoes before quickening his pace into the living room. "So this is what your place looks like. You've got really fancy tastes, Nanami-san."
"Try to steer clear of the windows," Nanami said. He went to the kitchen and set down the bags on top of the island counter. "And I'm not living in luxury. This is just what leading a life as a grade one sorcerer brings you."
"Do you even hear yourself?!" The man had a 65-inch TV for goodness sake. It was basically on par with what he and Ciel saw at that five-star hotel.
Ciel meandered around some abstract paintings hanging on the wall. A lot of them about measurements and rulers interestingly enough. "I assume that the higher grade you are, the more earnings you receive."
Which was reasonable. To keep around strong shamans capable enough to fight against dangerous curses, they would have to be compensated fairly for living such dangerous lives.
"In a manner of speaking. I won't divulge my yearly income, if you're thinking of asking," Nanami made sure to have that point across. He returned to the entrance where he hung up his coat on a rack and unfastened his watch. "I will say that I prefer my spending to be in moderation. Most of what you see here are just a hobby of mine."
He wouldn't call himself a collector; per se. He just felt he needed something to dress up the walls aside from bookshelves.
"Let me know if there's anything you wish to drink. Feel free to watch TV in the meantime."
Ciel nodded, and after putting in her request, she looked over to where Yuuji was.
The teen sorcerer had slumped onto the sofa, impressed by how comfy it was. His eyes remained invested to his surroundings, like he was in an art museum, before looking to Ciel and patted the seat next to him. Ciel accepted the invite, walking over with the present still in her grasp and sat down.
"Who'd of thought? We get to see the inside of Nanami-san's home," Yuuji commented, looking over at the hanging light fixtures that hovered above the coffee table, where a newspaper rested. "I always thought he lived in an office building. But that'd probably be considered working "overtime" for him."
"Mm. It would have fit, yes, but I had a feeling he wouldn't be that predictable. There's a lot more personality to this place than say my own apartment," Ciel said lightheartedly before whispering. "I'm a little curious to snoop around. But we shouldn't be rude."
"Hey, he doesn't have to know. I actually want to see what his room looks like now," Yuuji said, sharing a chuckle with Ciel as they both covered their mouths to hide their discussed ploy. He then thought back to Ciel's previous statement. "Your place is pretty cool too, you know? I like it."
"Ah. Thank you, but compared to something like this, it makes my apartment look boring. Before you moved in, my place was a clean slate. I never thought too hard about what I would do with it except to put a bed, a table, and a curtain in there. You could say it was a choice made so that - if ever I had to - I would move to a new apartment right away, and leave nothing behind, while not needing to take much with me."
She added sheepishly, "But, it could also be that my tastes are a little too plain. I just don't have that creativity to make it more personable. I wouldn't know where to start if I really thought about decorating my room."
"I think it says a lot about you. Sure, it felt a little empty, but I was really impressed by it when you first invited me into your home," Yuuji countered, giving his points with literal points of his fingers. "Simplistic, tidy. Very organized too."
Really? Then she must have done a bad job, for the purpose of leaving not much decor, was to say nothing about her as an undercover agent or Ciel as a person. Leave it to Yuuji, however, to see more to it than that. It's impressive just how much he noticed things.
"I just knew that you worked really hard to make things look the way they do, but if you're holding back because it's not a place you'd be living in for long, then maybe there's a way to change it?"
Curious by Yuuji's suggestion, Ciel listened as he went on. "I've already moved a bunch of my stuff in, and there's still a lot I haven't gotten a hold of cause people think I'm dead. If you want to look into it, why not find something that you like and then put it up in your room? Like over your bed or kitchen? It'll make it feel more homey that way, and not just me taking up space. Hehe."
He puckered his lips slightly and looked down for a moment. "I mean... I would want you to stay. Especially if we're going to be living in the same school together. I wouldn't want you to feel like you'd have to leave, even if you are here to do a job. The others made me feel welcomed, and I'm sure they'll do the same for you."
He smiled at her. "I may not have been there for long, but just those two weeks was enough for it to feel like a new home to me. Having people look out for you really helps too."
Ciel contemplated over Yuuji's words, looking down at the present she held at her lap. "...That does sound nice. I might just consider it."
She happily beamed at Yuuji. "You should know, though. You're not taking up any space. Having you around, it's made my life so much more pleasant."
A sparkle of happiness in Yuuji's eyes as he heard that, and Ciel finally addressed the present she had. "That's right. I still haven't tried your sweets yet, or opened your second present. Let's see..."
After a proper handle of the small present, she lifted its cover, quite excited to see what Yuuji got for her.
Inside, the additional gift was a simple jewelry. A golden necklace with a pink flower. A pretty piece that faintly reflected the light of the condo. Ciel lifted the necklace out of its box.
"A lotus..." The symbol of enlightenment in Buddhist culture. It was a genuine surprise to see it, all right.
Looking at the jewelry, Ciel was reminded that she had lost her golden cross necklace in her fight against Sukuna, and never got around to finding a replacement. In all honesty, she hadn't planned to. Aside from not being much of a jewelry person anyway, she felt such added apparel got in her way. Even if it was a standard for all members of the Church to wear, it was also optional for anyone to carry it.
Ciel simply didn't see it necessary to get a new one, and it's not like it would matter where she could get it if she truly needed to wear it. Any store would have sufficed, even if those crosses weren't legitimate or blessed.
Wearing this, on the other hand... While it certainly would get her more odd looks at her agency, this was a very special exception. With Yuuji wearing her blue-crossed gloves, she felt it was only right to do something similar. A nice trade-off.
"I won it at a pachinko shop." Yuuji blurted out before realizing the lack of romanticism out of that, and he quickly followed up. "It caught my eye when we were passing through. Sensei and I worked hard to make these sweets, but I wanted to give you something that's from me personally."
Well, that's a very 'Yuuji' way of gift-giving. Ciel wasn't entirely sure how she should react to that, but hearing his reasoning, she appreciated his intent. "Aha. I hope you don't develop a gambling addiction from that."
Giving a laugh, Ciel smiled and clasped the necklace in between her hands. "This is a wonderful gift. I love it."
Yuuji raised both arms up as if he scored a goal. Yes! I picked a good one! Elated to see such a look from Ciel. The girl chuckled again and began to unclip the necklace.
Bringing his back arms down, Yuuji reached out, "Here, I'll help you put it on."
She thanked him, handing him the jewelry and turned slightly. Yuuji placed the lotus in front of her chest and fastened the chain at the back of her neck, his blue-fingered gloves pushing the gold clip through the tiny loop. The graze of his hands made Ciel blush, and her warmth was instantly noticed as Yuuji grasped her shoulders and nuzzled his cheek against hers. "Ah-! Ehehe~!"
"Hehe." Damn. Now I get to cuddle her in public! With his new red scarf tucked underneath his hoodie. Yuuji rested his chin on top of Ciel's shoulder and closed his eyes.
"...I'm sorry I wasn't there when those guys attacked."
The joy in her chest went as Ciel heard this, and her smile slowly fell.
"If that other guy does show up again, we'll fight him off," Yuuji assured, his face turning serious. "Don't worry about me either. I've got your back, no matter what."
Ciel's eyes softened. She reached up and grasped his hand over her shoulder. "...Yes. I know I can always rely on you."
She just couldn't help but want to keep looking out for him.
"At least now I know what it was like when you were targeted..." Ciel said in a quiet voice, tightening her grip around Yuuji's fingers. "This should mean that you won't get all the attention. I'm a little assured by that, honestly."
It meant that Yuuji won't be the only one to have a target on his back, and if possible, she might even bring all the focus onto herself, if not half of it.
"Not me. I so don't want that to happen," Yuuji pulled Ciel in, hugging her back. "I rather take all the heat instead of you."
"Tough. I'm in the spotlight now. And I don't plan on moving away from it." She would definitely make sure of that.
"You listen here..." Yuuji grumbled, snuggling against her face once more. Ciel bared with it with her cheeks puffed, steadfast in her decision.
"...There might be someone who plans to kill you during the Goodwill Event, however," Ciel said, her eyes sharpened. "It wouldn't surprise me. You'll need to be ready if that happens."
"You really think so?" Yuuji looked at her. Eyes wide at the idea. Seeing such an innocent face, Ciel felt her heart pinched, and she reached up to rub his cheeks. Yuuji's eyes closed in surprise at the sudden, odd massage. He wasn't complaining about it, though.
Ciel sighed. "I do... It pains me to say it, but we can't disregard that possibility."
Hearing her worries openly, Yuuji immediately wanted to reassure her. While sure, it definitely sounded a little unnerving, he hated to see her this worked up because of him. Before he could answer, however, Ciel lightly patted his cheeks.
"That's why I decided to investigate our opponents," she said in a chipper voice, "and have us study both their strengths and weaknesses to exploit."
"Eh-?"
Yuuji blinked at the sunshine expression of Ciel, sensing the sinister air behind it. She lets go of Yuuji's face and slipped her hand into her long skirt.
"I managed to get a file on each and every one of the students from Kyoto." She magically pulled out a thick envelope that had the documents inside. "It's best if we looked through them now, get a sense as to who we're dealing with before the event."
"You have a file on all of the Kyoto class?" Nanami reappeared with drinks at hand, standing still behind the couch after hearing Ciel's reveal.
Ciel nodded. "Of course. I did say I wasn't just going to let Yuuji-kun go into this without some preparations. I'm a little surprised - but also not - that Gojo-sensei didn't think to do this (how naturally careless of him)."
"That may be because, even for Gojo-san, this can be seen as excessive," Nanami said. He watched as Yuuji took it upon himself to open the envelope and pulled out a few sets of folders (Yuuji: it's like a private detective put this together...).
"I'm a meticulous person, and I doubt it would have been smart to begin with putting Yuuji-kun, a newcomer of jujutsu sorcery, in a position of facing off against trained sorcerers with years of experience under their belts, no matter their grades."
"No argument there," Nanami conceded, putting down the drinks onto the table in front of them. He and Gojo would have likely gotten around to explaining all the members of Kyoto. They just never considered there would actually be an attempt on Yuuji's life at the school. Thus warranted this level of precaution. It really was fortunate to have Ciel on their side, otherwise, she'd truly be a force to be reckoned with.
"I've been doing alright lately," Yuuji spoke up as he looked at a photo of what appeared to be a robot made out of wood, an honestly incredible discovery. "I know I still got a long way to go, but as long as Ciel's helping me and training me, I feel pretty good about my odds."
Ciel was taken aback by his voice of confidence. She shyly pulled back the blue strands of her hair, briefly noting them to be getting a little long. One of the few exceptions from her ever-unchanging state. She'll have to get a trim later. "O-Oh. I mean, I do try my best to teach you. I'm still something of a rookie myself, but..."
"That's fine. You're a really good teacher, and there's a lot I'm able to pick up because of that," Yuuji said before giving a salute. "I look forward to keep learning from you. Teach me more, Ciel-Sensei!"
"Ehehehehehe~!" Ciel chuckled like a dork that got told she was pretty, grasping her face as her self-esteem was boosted by tenfold. (Yuuji: So cute~)
"If you insist... Very well. I'll teach you all the moves that I know! You might feel sore later, but I'm sure you can handle it." She proclaimed with a proud face, "Rest assured, Yuuji-kun. In no time at all, I'll be whipping you into shape. No shaman will ever stand a chance against you, so long as I can help it. Mhm!"
The couple fist-bumped with an excited "Yosh!", ready to move mountains with that promise.
There was something about that statement Nanami wanted to correct, but he decided against it as soon as he saw the photo of one particular sorcerer. Someone that could pose a problem for even a sorcerer like himself, and perhaps Ciel as well. We'll have to find a way to come up with a counter against him...
He picked up the photo of the Grade One Jujustu Student; Aoi Todo, taken at what seemed to be a fans gathering for a celebrity of some kind.
We could have probably used this sort of information gathering a long time ago... It would have saved a lot of sorcerers's time and lives.
Haruta slowed his jog through the night with several huffs, finally stopping at a nearby convenience store in front of an alleyway. "Whew! I think that's far enough..."
He was a little upset he didn't get to kill anyone on board. Ah well, there's probably someone he could find around here. Hopefully a woman or a kid.
"I better keep a low profile. That train's probably swarmed by now..." He wandered into the alleyway, wiping off the sweat from his forehead. "No way was I ever gonna survive against that guy. I better bring more back up next time."
He wondered if Juzo was alright? Well, it's more likely he probably died. Oh well. He'll just go ahead and break the news to the others. He wondered if Mahito would be up for coming along...
"Huh?"
Haruta stopped. There was something in the air. Something he instantly caught a scent of, and recognized.
He felt a chill down his back, as if he had the eyes of a lion on him, and he turned around.
"Ah... Uh..."
Blocking the entrance where he just came through, a lone figure of what looked to be a homeless teenager stood there. With a raggedy, dark blue kimono around his seemingly frail body. His pale, sharp fingers and mouth were drenched in dark, inhuman blood.
"Who... are you?" That probably wasn't the best question Haruta should have asked, for he had heard more than enough about it from the news. News he almost wanted to compete for the headlines. News that he now had a chance to contest.
The teen peered through his messy lob of silver hair, and he grinned through the blood, as if to say hello.
"By the way, I've heard from Yaga-sensei. The two of you won't be sharing a dorm room together," Nanami announced (Yuuji: "What?!").
Author's Note:
Aaaaand surprise! Here's another one! Figured I give you an extra to make up for my long absence. Wasn't gonna have it out this quick but oh boy when the writing starts pouring, it just would not stop.
I debated about adding that second to last section and figured... ehhhh I'm sure it'll go somewhere. I'll figure it out. Makes things a little more interesting!
Now, with that said, I got good news. My package arrived safely! A lot smaller than I expected but cool! She is currently sitting on my shelf. Now to save up for Yuuji. Awesome!
Second news. Regarding Red Rainbow, I've retcon an important detail in the first chapter. I found out in Melty Blood Type Lumina that Ciel was actually in Tokyo for an EXTENSIVE amount of time. A few months or so. Before she would ever learn about Shiki Tohno. Which means there is a perfect time frame of inserting the first half of the JJK plot before Tsukihime!
I wish I would have learned this sooner, it would make these fillers a lot more sense because Ciel just GOT there in Japan and we all know how meticulous she is with her preparations.
Oh well! Better late than never! Now there's a lot more potential content to explore, like how did Ciel come to find Shiki as Roa. The beginning of the serial killings. A lot more investigative/suspense feel to it that I could add, and with Yuuji, Gojo, and every other JJK cast member thrown into it, a lot of dynamics to explore. I hope to do my best!
Third news. With the action of the last chapter for Jujutsu Executor up and done now, you're probably wondering when the end of this Two-Month Training arc might be reached? I have a lot of ideas I want to write out (most of them just more fluff), but BELIEVE me, there is a pivotal moment coming up in this arc. TWO pivotal moments that I want to get to (maybe three).
I think to speed things along, I might just have it be done in the next few chapters, and after that...? Who knows...
It'd honestly be perfect if I could get this arc done in a total of 15 chapters. The Satsuki/Mahito arc lasted up to 15 chapters, maybe this arc will be the same...
Look forward to it! Thanks for reading. See ya next time!
Answering Reviews: (I'm sorry for not answering reviews. I keep forgetting to check back. It's better to PM me for any questions you may have, and also I won't have to update in case there are reviews I forget to answer).
Thunderdragon: Right now it's a slow burn in the works. Since I'm very new to the world of Tsukihime/nasuverse (with my hyper fixation of Fate to guide me), I plan to introduce the Tsukihime plot later down the line in the beginning month of October, the same month that the Shibuya Incident occur.
Regarding Yuji's potential in this story... well, let's just say that he has A LOT of it.
Guest: Thank you for in-depth explanations! I definitely could use them all. I'll be saving them in my notes and going back to review them whenever I need to. Again! Thank you so much!
TheDragonMC: I agree! I just realized we're already at chapter 34. My hiatus has left me with the realization that it's been long enough, so... I believe it's time for the Two-Month Training Arc to reach its conclusion soon. Stay tune for the next few chapters!
