Izuku adjusted himself as he looked out of the window of the train. It was the second day of the internship, and his injuries were fresh but manageable. His skin burned where Blackwhip had ripped out, but there wasn't scarring, just light bruises. His muscles were tight and strained, and he'd already had two cramps in his legs.
"Hey," Mirio said, touching his shoulder. "Don't worry. Your friend will be fine."
Izuku smiled at him. "I'm just worried. Those Nomu are dangerous, and the Hero Killer is a big threat."
"If your friend is anything like you or Creati, then you shouldn't worry," Mirio grinned. "He'll be able to take care of himself."
"It doesn't stop me from worrying," Izuku sighed. "Iida's smart, but I'm not sure how he'd react when emotions are in the way. Especially with his brother being Stain's last victim."
"We're nearing the station," Ryukyu said, standing up. "We can walk to Manual's agency from there."
Momo and Kendo stood up, talking about something Izuku couldn't hear.
'There's a battle going on,' Marvin told Izuku. 'I can feel someone's killing intent.'
Izuku stood sharply, glancing around to find what Marvin was talking about.
A winged Nomu crashed into the train, holding a bloody hero in its claws and screeching.
'Great. Big, Loud, and Ugly decided to show up,' Marvin muttered as Izuku activated One for All.
Mirio, being the closest, tackled the Nomu out of the train, and Izuku quickly followed him.
"WAIT," Ryukyu yelled, but Izuku and Mirio were already gone. "Damn, kids."
Izuku landed in the middle of a battle, with buildings burning and groups of heroes battling Nomu.
'Where's Mirio?' He asked, looking around.
'Don't know, he might have run off somewhere,' Marvin replied. 'But we need to find Iida. Check the alleyways; he might be there.'
Izuku darted off, jumping between buildings and using his speed to check for Iida.
'See anything?' He asked, eyes darting around.
'On your right, up ahead,' Marvin said, and Izuku's head snapped over. 'I can feel intense amounts of killing intent coming from there. It's two people, most likely Iida and Stain.'
Izuku leaped over, landing on a nearby rooftop, Marvin stopping him from jumping down recklessly.
Marvin took over entirely, stalking slowly across the rooftops without One for All; the lightning produced would be a beacon.
He jumped to a ledge, crouching next to the alley where he felt the killing intent coming from.
Iida was on the ground, Stain's sword embedded in his shoulder. He took out Izuku's phone, typing a quick message to Momo.
"You're nothing but a fake Hero," Stain hissed. "Letting your emotions cloud your judgment and using your power for your selfish benefit. You are everything that's wrong with this corrupt Hero society."
"Found Iida and Stain. There's another Hero injured here," Marvin typed. "We need help."
'What about the others?' Izuku asked. 'Like Todoroki. He can help.'
Marvin quickly typed a message to Todoroki, sending much the same to him before putting away the phone.
Izuku shared control with Marvin, and Blackwhip burst from their wrist, writhing and ready to be used.
Stain raised his sword. "You will be a message to all of these fake Heroes."
Blackwhip shot out, grabbing Stain's sword and yanking it out of his hand.
Izuku grabbed it, shattering it with his fist as Stain turned to him.
"Killing isn't nice, Stain," Izuku said, attaching Blackwhip to the ground and pulling himself down.
Stain jumped back, avoiding Izuku's kick with ease.
"Another fake Hero?" He hissed. "How many of you do I need to kill for you to understand?"
Izuku rushed forward, ignoring the villain's words as he threw a punch.
Stain dodged without effort, pulling out a knife and slashing at Izuku's stomach.
Izuku pivoted, turning and barely avoiding Stain's knife.
He kicked the villain's head, and Stain ducked before jumping back from another kick.
"Midoriya," Iida grunted. "Don't get involved. I said this was personal."
"Meddling where you don't need to is the essence of being a Hero!" Izuku replied, facing Stain.
He shot forward, sliding between the Hero Killer's legs and pulling him off balance with Blackwhip.
Izuku jumped up, kicking Stain in the side before hopping back from the knife.
Blackwhip grabbed Stain's legs, pulling them from under him as Izuku launched forward again.
Izuku twisted to avoid the knife, bringing his fist down on Stain's face as he passed.
He kicked the air, stopping and launching back to hit Stain in the back.
Stain rolled forward, kipping up with a smile, holding up his bloody knife.
Izuku's eyes widened as Stain licked the knife, and his body froze, and he fell to his knees.
"You have skill," Stain said. "You will be allowed to live."
Stain walked past Izuku's frozen body, approaching Iida with a snarl.
"You, however," He said. "Will die."
Stain jumped back as a flashbang went off in his face; he dropped his knife, looking away as more flashbangs went off.
Momo ran forward, staff in hand, swinging at Stain with deadly speed.
Stain jumped back, blinking away the spots in his vision as she attacked.
Momo threw a capture grenade at him, covering the Hero Killer in a tight net.
Stain cut through in seconds, but Momo was already on him, swinging fast enough to crack his skull.
He leaped into the air, out of range of Momo's strikes, and threw several knives at her.
Momo dodged, but one knife cut her cheek and shoulder open a little.
She threw more flashbangs, jumping back, knowing that close range was Stain's specialty.
Stain knocked them away, rushing forward only to get blinded by a cloud of smoke.
Flashbangs went off rapidly, forcing him to cover his eyes before several canisters rolled near his feet.
He jumped to dodge, but it was too late.
Stain hissed as electricity coursed through him, jumping back shakily.
Momo rushed him, swinging her staff with ruthless abandon.
Stain parried, bringing his knife down on her arm only for it to shatter.
Momo swung with her staff, forcing Stain to jump back, throwing knives at her that bounced off.
Momo breathed heavily, letting the crystals covering her skin retreat. She'd gotten the idea from the Sports Festival and could now protect a limb.
"You're all FAKE," He yelled. "And I'm going to show the world what happens to fakes."
Izuku leaped at him, finally free of Stain's Quirk, hitting Stain in the jaw.
Stain jumped back, parrying a few strikes before Izuku jumped back, landing beside Momo.
"Where's Ryukyu and Kendo?" He asked, glancing at her.
"Fighting Nomu," Momo replied. "I came to help alone."
"Thank you," Izuku replied before launching Blackwhip at Stain.
Stain leaped over it, bouncing off the walls and reaching Izuku in seconds.
Izuku punched the air, sending Stain back with powerful winds.
He rushed forward, dodging Stain's knife and punching him in the stomach.
Izuku twisted, barely avoiding Stain's knife before jumping back.
Momo reached Stain, her staff whistling through the air.
Stain blocked several strikes before hitting her in the stomach.
Momo stumbled back, unable to dodge as Stain licked the blood off her cheek.
She collapsed, her body refusing to move even as she struggled.
Stain rushed Izuku, weaving through Blackwhip.
Izuku slapped his knife away, punching Stain in the chest.
He grabbed Stain's shirt and pulled, kneeing Stain in the stomach.
Izuku pushed with One for All, sending Stain flying back.
He felt a burning in his side and brushed his fingers there, eyes widening as they came back bloody.
Stain paralyzed him again, and Izuku collapsed, watching helplessly as Stain approached Momo.
"Such indecency," He scowled. "You fakes all just want attention. You don't care about helping people; you just want to be seen."
"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER," Izuku roared from where he was paralyzed.
"Fake Heroes need to be culled," Stain hissed. "Only true heroes must remain."
"You know NOTHING," Izuku replied, trying to fight the paralysis.
'Marvin, please tell me you have something,' Izuku pleaded.
'His Quirk affects your body, and since your body changes when I'm in control, and even more when we share, maybe we can override it?' He suggested.
'We can try.'
The two worked perfectly in sync for the first time since the Festival. Neither wanted to overtake the other but wanted to cooperate in their goal: Escape and help Momo.
Slowly, ever so slowly, their body began to shake. It was soft at first, but it quickly became rapid spasming, shaking as if they were lifting a great weight.
Screams escaped their gritted teeth as every muscle trembled from the exertion, saliva falling from the edges of their lips as they struggled.
Stain paused, turning to Izuku. His eyes widened as Izuku began to move, his body trembling so violently that Stain could see it even at night.
Izuku slowly got to one knee, staring at Stain with insane eyes, eyes that had fire in them.
"GET-" Izuku screamed, slowly raising his hands. "AWAY FROM HER!"
Blackwhip exploded, roaring in the alleyway like a tornado. It flowed through the space, latching onto the walls with tendrils as thick as Izuku's arms.
It ripped through the air, slamming into the Hero Killer with the force of a freight train, sending Stain crashing through several walls.
Izuku screamed louder than he'd ever had, Marvin's dark aura flaring around him thick enough to knock people out.
His scream grew as his body continued to shake. His ears were ringing, his throat felt like someone had cut him open, and his body felt more exhausted than it'd felt from fighting the Nomu yesterday, but he pushed.
He pushed more, drawing on reserves he didn't know he had as he stood his legs that shook violently.
Blackwhip roared again, flashing and grabbing Iida, Momo, and Native and picking them up.
Izuku jumped, the ground exploding around him from the force.
He landed on a rooftop, dropping Iida and Native harsher than he meant to while setting Momo down gently.
"Momo," He whispered, holding her close. "You're ok."
"I'm glad you saved us," Momo replied. "But that was scary."
Stain leaped up before Izuku could respond, his eyes crazed as blood dripped down his face.
"Yes, you're a true hero," He hissed, but Izuku only saw red.
"YOU," Izuku roared, his voice a booming mix of his and Marvin's.
He slammed into Stain faster than the Hero Killer could react, launching both off the rooftop.
Izuku wrapped Stain in Blackwhip, binding his hands before slamming Stain against a building.
Izuku latched onto a rooftop and twisted, slamming his feet into Stain's spine with as much power as possible.
He turned again, launching himself and Stain high into the air before he began to spin.
Izuku gathered momentum before slamming Stain against the concrete, embedding the Hero Killer several centimeters.
Izuku landed viciously, slamming his fist into Stain's face before roaring.
He pummeled Stain, his rage overriding him. His fists came back bloody, but that only drove Izuku more. He didn't want blood; he wanted death.
Izuku's fists were blurs, striking Stain repeatedly across the body and head, and Stain's body slowly began to bounce against the concrete from the force.
"DIE," He roared, drawing his fists back to smash open Stain's head.
He froze against his will, his body encased in ice.
"Midoriya, what are you doing?" Todoroki asked, staring at him with wide eyes.
"GO AWAY," Izuku boomed, shattering the ice and trying to punch Stain. He had to finish this.
Todoroki froze him again. "Midoriya, this isn't you."
Izuku broke free but couldn't do anything else as a flashbang went off in his face, followed by another ice stream.
He jumped back, the shock making Marvin fly back from control. Blackwhip rushed back into his body, and Izuku collapsed as exhaustion caught up.
"Midoriya," Todoroki ran over to him, reaching him right before Momo did.
"Izuku," Momo shook him a little. "Izuku, are you ok?"
Izuku groaned as his eyes fluttered open.
"Wha- what happened?" He asked, his mind feeling foggy.
"You don't remember, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked, and Izuku shook his head softly.
"You tried to kill the Hero Killer," Momo told him. "Todoroki stopped you the first time, and me and him stopped you the second time."
'You'd think I'd fucking remember that,' Marvin muttered, trying to ignore the pain.
'You don't remember either?' Izuku asked.
'Nope. I saw you grabbing Momo, Iida, and that other dude, hugging Momo, and I don't remember anything else,' Marvin replied, his mind feeling worse than his first day in Izuku's body.
"Izuku," Momo said softly. "Do you not remember?"
"I- I remember being happy you were safe," Izuku replied slowly. "And- and there was Stain. And now- now I'm here, with you guys."
Momo and Todoroki shared a look. If Izuku was telling the truth, and it seemed like it was, that meant something was very, very wrong.
"Ugh, god. My body hurts so much," Izuku groaned softly, leaning into Momo and resting his head on her shoulder.
His bones creaked and groaned, and his body trembled, muscles spasming occasionally as he tried to control his shaky, raspy breaths. His spine, in particular, felt sore, like he'd just deadlifted several tons, and the muscles in his back visibly twitched through his shredded costume.
A Nomu swooped down, grabbing Todoroki and beginning to fly off.
Before either student could do anything, Stain jumped up, somehow still conscious after his beatdown.
He leaped, stabbing the Nomu in the brain while grabbing Todoroki from its claws.
Stain landed roughly, holding Todoroki up before letting go.
"You saved me," Todoroki said, stepping back. "Why?"
"Consider it payment," Stain replied as the Pro Heroes arrived.
"SHOTO," Endeavor yelled. "Get back!"
"CREATI," Ryukyu yelled at the same time. "Get Midoriya out of there!"
Stain snarled. "Fake heroes," He hissed. "Only looking for glory. Only looking to be seen, for fame."
The bandages on his face fell off, and everyone froze as a thick aura filled the air. It felt impenetrable, settling onto the Heroes like a massive weight.
"If you're real Heroes," Stain spat. "FIGHT ME! ALL MIGHT WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DEFEAT A VILLAIN."
The Pros froze, unable to move. Endeavor stepped back subconsciously, his legs shaking a little.
Izuku got up slowly, his teeth bared in a snarl, and his eyes crazed.
"Stay," He groaned. "DOWN!"
Marvin's aura flared, overpowering and ripping through Stain's like a cannonball through tissue paper. It was like a silent scream, making no sound, yet everyone's ears rang as it poured over the area.
Stain fell to his knees as Marvin concentrated the aura on him, unable to fight back due to his injuries.
Stain collapsed, finally unconscious, as Marvin's aura overpowered him.
Marvin stepped back from control, sitting down heavily, and the world went dark as Izuku took back control.
Izuku groaned, trying and failing to sit up. He wasn't in Hosu anymore; at least, he thought he wasn't. He couldn't open his eyes, but Izuku could smell the signature sterilized smell of a hospital room. It was daytime, or that was what he thought the large amount of light pouring through his closed eyelids was.
He couldn't move his body; he didn't have the strength to move. He felt exhausted and like sleeping for a minimum of several days.
"Izuku?" A soft voice sifted through the haze his mind was in.
The change was instant. Izuku sat up, his eyes flying open and snapping to where he'd heard the voice. The pain and exhaustion were ignored; they weren't important right now.
"Momo," He smiled, reaching for her hand.
She didn't have her hero costume on, but a pair of jeans and an overlarge t-shirt. Her hair was down, and Izuku's breath caught a little as he stared at how beautiful she looked, even with simple clothing.
"You should rest," Momo said, squeezing his hand.
Izuku shook his head. "I'm fine, Momo. Really. I'm ok."
Momo narrowed her eyes. "Izuku Midoriya, I know you well enough to tell how bad you are at lying. Lay down."
She put her hand on his chest and pushed him down, with Izuku only weakly trying to resist. Her hand felt engulfed in flames, and Izuku found it hard to breathe.
"Momo," He smiled softly, not really understanding what he was saying. "I really love you, you know that?"
Momo froze, her breath catching in her throat. Her hand was still on his chest, and she could feel his heart beating rapidly, just like hers.
She laughed a little, punching his shoulder. "I wanted to tell you first."
"You love me?" Izuku asked, his eyes wide.
"Of course I do," Momo replied. "I love you, Izuku."
They smiled awkwardly at each other for a few seconds, neither knowing what to do, before they both leaned in.
Momo adjusted herself, her hands beside his head as she leaned down.
Her hair covered them like a curtain, and Izuku couldn't help but play with it as she leaned in.
Izuku's hand snaked around her waist, pulling her in, and she adjusted so one leg was between his.
Their faces were just inches from each other, and Izuku cupped her face with one hand, the other still playing with her hair.
"I love you," She whispered, brushing his cheek gently.
"I love you too," He whispered back.
The door to his room opened, and several things happened at once.
Marvin took control, sitting up and pulling Momo with him.
Momo, due to the shock, created a knife from her palm, her skin becoming hardened with crystals.
One for All activated simultaneously as Izuku recovered and began sharing control with Marvin.
Blackwhip ripped from his back, its tendrils looming menacingly over his shoulders.
Izuku slid one leg off the bed, halfway standing with his hand on Momo's back.
So, when Chief of Police Kenji Tsuragamae entered the hospital room with Sir Nighteye and Ryukyu, he was met with Izuku and Momo, Quirks active, Izuku looking ready to kill him with Momo just seconds behind.
Momo's head was spinning a little. She'd been so close this time, and she was very tempted to continue making the knife so the adults would leave her alone with Izuku.
Blackwhip retreated into Izuku's back as he realized who had entered. Marvin stepped back from control as Izuku adjusted so his arms were around Momo's waist.
Ryukyu raised an eyebrow. "Are we interrupting something?"
"If you are," Marvin replied. "You won't leave until you tell us what you want, right?"
Momo shifted so she sat better on Izuku's lap, laying her head on Izuku's shoulder and retracting her creations.
"Midoriya," Nighteye said. "This is Kenji Tsuragamae, the Hosu Police Force Chief."
"You are the UA students that brought down the Hero Killer, correct?" Kenji asked rhetorically.
Momo and Izuku nodded anyway, but Marvin snarled inside Izuku's head, knowing what he was about to say.
"When Quirks became commonplace," Kenji said. " To ensure that Quirks were not classified as weapons and that people could trust us, rules were established to ensure the safety of individuals. To use your Quirks in such a way as to cause physical harm without proper supervision or approval from your guardians is a clear violation of the rules. Yaoyorozu, Midoriya, Sir Nighteye, and Ryukyu must receive strict punishment."
"Hold on," Momo cut in. "If Iida hadn't broken those rules, then Native would have died. If Izuku hadn't broken them, they would have been killed."
"So it's ok to bend the rules if it helps someone?" Kenji asked calmly.
"YES," Momo replied, standing sharply.
Kenji sighed. "What are UA and Ryukyu teaching you?"
Momo's eyes widened. "You stupid mutt," She hissed, creating a sword and stalking over to Kenji.
"Creati, wait," Ryukyu stepped in front of Momo, making a 'stop' gesture with her hands.
The teens did a double take as All Might walked in, dressed in his hero costume, a broad smile on his face.
"However," Kenji scratched his nose. "That punishment only applies to those without licenses to use their Quirks. Professional Heroes do not face punishment for such actions."
All Might stepped forward and handed a card to Momo before turning and tossing another card to Izuku, which he caught.
Izuku stared at the card. It was a Temporary Hero License, viable until a day before the Provisional Hero License Exam in September. It didn't have his picture, but his name, official Quirk name, Hero name, and date of birth. On the bottom left corner, the words 'Offered by: Might Tower' were above the words 'Approved by: Nighteye Agency.'
"Our original plan was to have Ryukyu take credit, but the wounds on Stain were much different than those she inflicts when she fights," Kenji stated. "The Hero Killer shows massive amounts of broken bones, a punctured lung, torn muscles, a concussion, and possibly brain damage. This was the next best option."
"Why wasn't this the original option?" Momo asked, retracting her sword and looking up at the Chief.
"These licenses are rather difficult to obtain," Ryukyu explained. "Sir Nighteye, All Might, and I had to pull many favors to get one, let alone two, especially at such short notice."
"Indeed," Nighteye confirmed. "It's only because it was us asking that we managed to get them when we did. This is the only time we can do this, as we exhausted many of our favors to get this done."
"For the next few months," Kenji continued. "You will be considered Heroes. This will stop you from receiving backlash for using your Quirks in public, but you will be subject to every rule Pro Heroes are subject to. Breaking just one of these regulations will have your License removed, and you will be placed on Quirk probation until you can pass the Provisional License Exam. Understood?"
Momo and Izuku nodded. "Yes sir," They said together.
Kenji bowed. "As someone who also protects the peace, I thank you, Duality and Creati, for helping us make this world a better place."
He left, and Nighteye turned to Izuku while Ryukyu turned to Momo. Both teens shrank back as their mentors glared at them.
"Midoriya," Nighteye said, walking over. "You may have beaten the Hero Killer but did so by directly going against orders. I told you to stick by Mirio, yet you ran off by yourself and were nearly killed as a result."
He sighed before fixing Izuku with a sharp glare. "You may have been given that Temporary License, but you are still a student and, therefore, under my supervision. I will not stop you from helping people, but disobey me again, and there will be consequences."
Nighteye turned sharply and left, ignoring All Might's attempts for conversation.
"Attacking the Chief of Police?" Ryukyu hissed to Momo. "What were you thinking?"
Momo flushed a little, looking down and refusing to meet Ryukyu's eyes.
"While I will admit, your desire to fight for what's right is inspiring," Ryukyu continued, and Momo smiled a little.
"But what you nearly did was stupid," She finished, and Momo flushed more.
Ryukyu sighed before hugging Momo tightly. "But at the end of the day, I'm proud of you, Creati. You jumped in to save someone without thinking of yourself, and that's truly what a Hero is."
She squeezed Momo's shoulder as the girl brushed her teary eyes. "You're going to be a great hero one day."
Ryukyu turned to leave, with All Might beginning to follow her.
"All Might," Izuku called, and the Hero turned. "Can you stay for a few minutes? I need to say some things."
"Certainly, Young Midoriya," All Might smiled, closing the Izuku hospital room door. "But- uhh, is it what I think it is?" He asked, glancing at Momo.
Izuku nodded shakily. "It- it is. But I want her to know. I can't keep this a secret anymore. Not from her."
All Might looked hesitant but nodded after a moment.
Momo sat down next to Izuku, who was fiddling with his bedsheets.
'I can't do this; it's too stressful,' Izuku said, feeling like he was about to pass out.
Marvin slapped him on the back of the head. 'Pull yourself together, man. You just told this girl you loved and nearly kissed her; you can tell her about your Quirk.'
Izuku took a deep breath, subconsciously gripping Momo's hand as he tried to steady his racing heart.
"Momo, about the thing I've been meaning to tell you," He began as Momo squeezed his hand back.
"Wait, but why is All Might here?" Momo asked.
"You'll see," Izuku replied before turning to the Hero. "All Might, could you... demonstrate?"
All Might nodded, and in a second, the Pro Hero had turned to his skinny form, coughing up some blood as he sat.
Momo did a double take, looking between Izuku and All Might. "Wait- but- you're- that's not-"
"It is," Izuku squeezed her hand and smiled. "That's All Might's true form."
"Ok- ok, hold on," Momo rubbed her temples with her free hand. "Wait, why are you telling me this?"
Izuku sighed. "You know how Todoroki said I was All Might's successor?"
Momo blinked. "So you are? Why didn't you tell me? I thought you said you were a student. When did this happen?"
"Momo, I couldn't tell you because it's supposed to be a secret," Izuku replied. "But my Quirk is actually All Might's. He passed it to me the day of the Entrance Exam."
"He-" Momo glanced between the skinny All Might and Izuku. "Huh?"
"Young Midoriya was Quirkless when I met him," All Might stated. "The day of the Sludge villain attack. When he ran to save Young Bakugo, even knowing he didn't have a Quirk to help, he still did. That's when I chose him to be my successor."
"So you passed your Quirk to him?" Momo asked, and All Might nodded. "How is that even possible?"
"One for All, which is the name of my Quirk and, now, Young Midoriya's, is a mixture of two Quirks," All Might said. "A Quirk to stockpile power, and a Quirk to transfer Quirks. Those two mixed to form One for All and have been passed on since the dawn of Quirks. Young Midoriya is the ninth holder of this power."
"And you're the eighth?" Momo asked, receiving another nod. "Is that the reason Izuku grew so much?"
All Might shrugged. "I only have my experience to go off of. But when I received One for All, I was skinny, just as I am now. I received a growth spurt at 18, which strengthened me, though I didn't receive a height increase. The muscular form everyone sees is what I truly look like; One for All simply helps me tap into it."
Momo's brows furrowed. "Tap... into it?"
All Might showed his wound. "I got it several years ago, fighting against a villain known as All for One, the older brother of One for All's first user. It weakened me, limiting my use of One for All to only a few hours a day. That limit grows smaller daily, and I knew I had to find a successor soon."
"That's why you picked Izuku?" Momo asked, leaning on said boy's chest.
"Yes," Izuku replied. "I had to train for ten months to use One for All, or else the power would make my limbs explode off my body."
"So, if the Quirk stockpiles power, does that mean you're stronger than All Might?" Momo asked, looking up at him.
Izuku and All Might did double takes; neither considered that a possibility.
"That may be why those tentacles exist," Izuku muttered. "It may be One for All adapting to release excess amounts of energy in a new way since I'm still unable to control all of it. But that would beg the question, is it controllable? If it is, then that would make One for All even more versatile than before, but if it isn't, then what is it based on?"
Momo put a finger on his lips, smiling as he blushed brightly. She loved how easy it was to make him blush; she enjoyed it more than she'd care to admit.
"We can figure that out later," She told him before turning back to All Might.
"So, Izuku has your Quirk, which I'm assuming means you don't have it anymore," She said, and All Might nodded.
"My power is fading quickly. I can use One for All for about three hours a day," All Might replied, coughing up some blood. "I'm training Young Midoriya to take up the mantle before I retire, which will be in about a year at this rate."
He stood, taking a deep breath and swelling into his muscular form. "I trust you can keep this a secret, Young Yaoyorozu?"
Momo nodded. "Of course, sir. I won't mention it to anybody."
All Might smiled. "Thank you. If you can excuse me, I have to deal with some things. Goodbye, Young Midoriya and Young Yaoyorozu."
He left after the teens waved, walking out of the hospital room and closing the door behind him.
"Wow. So, you're All Might's successor," Momo said once All Might was gone.
Izuku nodded. "Yeah. I've learned a lot from him."
Momo leaned against him, processing the information. It only took her a few seconds for her brows to furrow, her mind coming upon a question.
"Izuku?"
"Yes?"
"If you received your Quirk the day of the Entrance Exam," Momo said. "How is it you're able to control it so easily? I doubt the strength of All Might is simple to master."
Izuku rubbed the back of his head. "Well, that's something else I've meant to tell you."
He sighed, getting a pep talk from Marvin. "You know how you, Todoroki, and the others have said I'm like two different people? And how I leaned into that for my Hero name?"
Momo nodded slowly. "Yes? Izuku, don't tell me-"
"Momo, I have another person living in my head," Izuku sighed.
.
.
Author's Note: And that's the chapter! Izuku and Marvin finally manage to share control, but it has consequences, as you can see. Momo knows about One for All, and how will Izuku tell Momo about Marvin?
I gave them both Hero Licenses because of the plans I have for them. Stuff like the Overhaul raid, the summer camp, and vigilante Izuku will be moving drastically differently than in canon. The Licenses were something I thought of when writing the last chapter because I saw it in another fanfiction with a premise similar to this.
Momo will essentially replace Bakugo's role in knowing for One for All. She'll be helping Izuku learn about it and train, especially since she's getting stronger too.
And I know it seems that Momo and the others feel relatively weak in their fights against villains, but I promise it won't stay that way. They only seem weak because Izuku shares a body with a trained soldier and is learning One for All much faster than canon.
