Once around the table, Lestrange was getting mean looks from Nymphadora and Kinglsey who'd had no luck at all tracking whatever illegal activities Lestrange had gotten up to that morning. But they were informed of the outcome, as was Albus.

"I cannot allow you to remain here Stephen," Albus said to the assembled Order as he would not let a murderer remain so close to them. "You are too dangerous and I will not risk it."

"Allow?" Lestrange scoffed at the notion that the headmaster was allowing him to do anything. "Listen up old man, you don't allow me anything. I am here for Rose, to keep her safe, if you think I will simply abandon her on your word, you'd better be willing to back that up."

Albus saw that Lestrange had drawn a wand, a motion that had other members of the order doing the same. "Stop it," Rose stood up to break the tension before the meal devolved into a fight. "Stephen is staying because I want him to stay, and everyone who was here earlier knows he has safehouses of his own, so if he goes, I go with him."

Opening his mouth to inform Rose that she would not be leaving, the redhead looked at him with a fire in her eyes that he hadn't ever noticed before. "Don't you dare try and excuse this. Or should we have a discussion about why Rita Skeeter of all people would ask if that broom closet made me feel right at home?"

The implication was understood by the others from what Rose had told them in the morning regarding the cupboard under the stairs. "Albus, what does she mean by that?" Minerva questioned her boss because it sounded to her like Rose was accusing Albus of giving that information to the reporter to get a rise out of the girl, which would mean he was aware of her upbringing.

Seeing that Rose was not going to allow him to have control of the situation and would be bringing up less than flattering conversations, he sat down. "I believe I have misspoken in regards to Mr. Lestrange's presence in the home."

"Yeah, I'd say you did," Rose nodded her head before retaking her seat.

Stephen got a look in his eyes while licking his lips towards Rose. "Merlin that was sexy, I should throw you on the table and violate you right now," he huskily growled out.

"Nephew we are eating here," Andromeda protested that this was being discussed so publicly. "You will keep all bedroom activities to the bedroom and that includes talk like that."

"Sorry Aunt Andy," Lestrange apologized while still looking lustfully at Rose who was blushing heavily from the very forward stated desire.

Rose smiled and twirled her fork around. "I think we can find a bedroom later."

"Rose?!" Sirius loudly complained. It was becoming far too frequent for his liking that the teenagers were discussing sex in front of him.

"Oh it's just some harmless fun Siri," Andromeda rolled her eyes. "Weren't you bragging that you'd shagged a girl back in second year."

"Well it's different," Sirius countered as he didn't think that him losing his virginity before his thirteenth birthday to a fourth year girl was quite the same as Rose and Stephen going off together.

Andromeda set down her fork and wiped her mouth. "How so, because you were such a reckless child that I'm sure if we got Poppy to come in she'd tell us how many of those girls had to come see her about potions."

"She shouldn't be with him at all," Sirius stood up.

"How dare you try and tell me who I can and cannot date," Rose shouted because Sirius was really starting to get on her nerves. "As if I should listen to you on what's right and wrong when you all tortured him."

"I should have killed him because he's a lying piece of shit spawn of the Dark Lord," Sirius roared as he slammed his fists down on the table, he was huffing and could see everyone at the table except for Rose and Stephen looking shocked.

"Yeah I saw it, on the tapestry," Sirius drew his wand and leveled it at the Dark Lord's son.

"Sirius stop," Rose said because she figured out what her godfather was talking about.

"No Rose, he's been tricking you this whole time and now that Albus is here we can put him down," Sirius nodded his head while taking deep breaths because of how furious he was, he detested waiting when he should have attacked the moment they returned with the pizzas but he didn't want to risk the fight getting out of hand without the rest of the order to back him up.

Wiping his lips with his napkin, Lestrange leveled a glare at the man. "You better know what you're doing cousin."

"Oh you shut your mouth Son of Tom Riddle," Sirius barked back, causing the table to gasp.

Rising up from his seat, Lestrange's frown turned into a smile, it was an eerie smile that had the other members of the order standing right up until Lestrange flicked his wrist and they felt an immense pressure come down on them, Sirius unready for it, slammed his head into the table knocking him down with a groan.. "You're right, my father is neither Lestrange brother, it is the Dark Lord. But you made a mistake, Sirius Orion Black the Third."

Kneeling down to see his eyes widened with fright because he couldn't move, feeling like Hagrid was sitting on him. "Rose already knows this and she accepted me and that's all that matters."

Rising up Stephen could see that the headmaster was overcoming the gravity curse as expected from the powerful wizard as he'd only caught the man due to the surprise, but raising a free hand, he snapped his fingers to end the trap he'd placed under the floorboards weeks ago. He waited for those affected to bring themselves up and he watched them to see who would do something stupid. "I'll take care of this," Rose said as she pushed Lestrange behind herself.

"Alright, it's true, Stephen Lestrange's father is Voldemort, but you know something that doesn't mean we punish him for what his father has done," Rose said to those who were looking at her incredulously for defending Lestrange to them. Looking over at Sirius who had a pretty nasty bump on his head. "Or else I should judge you by the things your family has done Sirius? Did a member of your family centuries ago not unleash the Black Plague in an attempt to wipe out the muggles? Why should I not think that you're just as bad as your mother and father who according to you were so bad that they would have me tortured to death in the basement for being a halfblood."

"That's not the same thing," Sirius shouted back as he was trying to get his bearings.

"Then how about just what you've done, sending Severus Snape to be mauled to death by Moony? How do you justify that, you would have made your friend into a murderer if my father had not come to stop that horrid prank, then Remus would have been put to death by the ministry for it," Rose stepped forward to the older man. "You never think about your actions and you didn't do so now because all you did was out Stephen for something he had no choice in."

"He didn't get to choose who his father was, but he got to make a choice in his actions," Rose turned to the adults. "And some of them are violent and psychotic choices, but… but he's chosen to fight against Voldemort. He's chosen me and I don't care that his dad's insane. So if you want to get rid of him, you'll have to go through me first."

Clearing his throat Albus looked at the young couple. "You are right, we should not hold one's birth against them, but his connection to the Dark Lord should not be overlooked. You should have told us this before."

"And you should have gone to the ministry and confessed to using unforgivables on a student, but you didn't," Rose spat back quickly because if the headmaster wanted to pick this fight, she'd take him down too. "If you believed half of the stuff you spew then you should have marched in there and thrown yourself at the mercy of the court for what you did and what I saved Stephen from."

This being the first time that those who had not seen the room after the second task have heard it, Molly, Arthur, Nymphadora, Kinglsey and Hestia looked at the headmaster for him to deny using unforgivables on a student, no matter who. "Albus," the redheaded mother's lip quivered. "Is it true?"

Being confronted with this Albus opened his mouth but Minerva was quicker to answer. "Yes, we had been worried about what Stephen was potentially doing to Rose and we… we ambushed him and tortured him for information all night before the second task," bowing her head in shame.

"You… you can't be serious," Nymphadora stood up from the table, but her mother placed her hand on her arm.

"Rose brought Stephen to me clinging to life from everything they did to him, it took hours and hours to put him back together," Andromeda confirmed for her daughter.

Looking at the headmaster for a second before she ran out of the room and one could hear the floo flare to life. Kingsley slowly rose from his chair looking beyond furious. "I believe that our time in the Order is over," the wizard declared as he was willing to fight Voldemort but not become like his death eaters to win, there would be no point in it.

Albus watched other members leave the room and realized that this fracture would be insurmountable. "Do you understand what you have done?" he asked the witch about how her declarations have made the fight that much harder.

"I do, I'm standing by my principles and forcing you to either do the same or abandon them," Rose stated firmly.

"I'm going to need to get ahead of this," Stephen said as he headed towards the door. "I'm sorry but I'll probably be gone all night Rose"

"Just where do you think you are going?" Sirius said to the boy who was the root of all his problems since he'd gotten out of Azkaban.

"I need to speak to Madam Bones so she doesn't do something crazy that gets her killed," Lestrange sighed as he exited the kitchen. "Fucking hell you dumb bastard, just couldn't keep your mouth shut and talk to her, have to run in headfirst about every perceived problem. Department of Magical Law Enforcement."

Rose took a deep breath as she heard the sound of the floo again. "Sir, I have been trying to believe that despite all this you are a person who wants good to win but you are making it so damn hard. So if you don't want me to run away to France with Stephen, then I want you to answer my next question honestly."

The headmaster slowly nodded his head and wondered just what Rose would require him to tell her. "It took me a while to figure this out but all those years ago it wasn't my family Voldemort was coming after, it was me. So why did he try to kill me?"

Looking around the room he could see that he had everyone's attention and there was no way to get around this as others in the order knew what they were guarding and he couldn't trust that they wouldn't call him out if he lied, so he only had one option. "There was a prophecy made about the Dark Lord, and he learned of it and came for you."

Blinking at the old man, Rose felt a headache coming on. "That's it. A prophecy. All of this started because of a prophecy?" she started to chuckle. "Oh my god, that's… I cannot believe this."

"It is a true prophecy," Albus said because he believed that Rose's reaction was because she didn't not understand the validity of it.

"It doesn't matter," Rose cackled as she braced herself on the table. "Let me guess the prophecy foretold a child would be born that could defeat him so he went out to kill babies and blew up when he got to me?"

"That is a summation of what the prophecy entails," Albus confirmed because it seemed that Rose had come to the right conclusion.

"So one of us has to kill the other," Rose had to wipe her face of tears of laughter. "Oh that's fucking rich, I need to tell Stephen, he'll be so mad because he's been trying to figure out just why you were so focused on me and it was just a stupid prophecy."

"I don't believe you fully understand the implications," Albus warned the girl. "If he knew that you were the only one capable of killing him, then he'd never fear anyone else and you'd never be safe."

"I don't think you understand just how fucking stupid this all is," Rose slammed her hand down on the table. "Whether I knew it or not, he was going to come for me, hell he only came for me because of the prophecy at all and he already isn't afraid of anyone else. But just how did he learn of it in the first place?"

Seeing Albus' eyes flicker momentarily to the side, Rose snapped her head at Professor Snape who had been quiet this entire time simply because everything he knew was being turned on its head. "You got to be fucking kidding me, he told Stephen's dad this?" tossing up her hands.

"Oh that's just perfect. So tell me it then," Rose sat back down and waved her hand for the headmaster to expose to her what the whole ordeal that started this was.

Albus not really seeing a point in keeping the information from Rose any longer repeated the prophecy. And when he was done Rose just covered her face with her hand.

"That's ridiculous, we have to kill each other. That's not a surprise and hell even if he didn't know the prophecy he was going to go after my parents anyway since they apparently defied him multiple times," Rose groaned. "And the power he knows not, that could be anything, I bet he doesn't know jack shit about muggle video games, so I could probably bludgeon him to death with my dead cousin's Playstation."

"I have a working theory on that," Albus pointed out, so Rose didn't get it into her head that she could solve this with brute force.

"Yeah, so does Stephen, his plan is to destroy the horcruxes, you know the actual things keeping Voldemort alive and then murder the shit out of him so he's gone forever," Rose quickly shot back. Standing up from the table, Rose just looked to Hermione and the Weasley's. "I'm gonna go to bed, I'm sorry you all had to be here for this."
