Ash walks closer to them, he looks around the room and sees it looks a lot more fixed than how it looks outside, just then, the yellow and blue jester jumps out of the piano and teleported up to Ash "Hey hey hey, didn't know you were bringing a new guy" the jester says "also, what's this gem thingy?" the jester floated in the air while holding the Chaos Emerald in his hand, the Chaos Emerald flys back into Ash's hands "Psycho, can you at least give the new guy some space" said the pink rabbit as she pushed the jester known as Psycho away from Ash "sorry about Psycho, my name is Mach" the pink rabbit known as Mach shakes Ash's hand then asks "what's your name?" "m-my name is… Ash" Ash studders out "I-It nice to meet all of y-you" "Oh, what do ya get some kinda stuttering problem?" Psycho asks "Well you'll fit right in" "Will you shut your mouth, Psycho," Sharps said "he's probably nervous at the fact a bunch of gangsters just brought him here" "N-no, I'm fine," Ash said "Th-this is just the first time I've ever spoken to someone" "oh, so you're an introvert?" Psycho said "Don't worry kid, you won't be by the time you're around me for long enough" Just then, a brown monkey stepped out of the room near them "Psycho what are you doing now?" the monkey asked, tired. The monkey had different colored eyes, one blue and the other green "I was hoping to wake up at a normal time, but I guess I'm gonna be early" "Oh quit whining Max" Mach said "he's just excited to meet the new guy" the brown monkey known as max looked over to Ash "huh, alright then?'' Max said as he went back into his room. "Well, that's about all of the gang," Feels said "Now, let get down to the meat of this" Feels took out a letter "As you all know, we've been invited to this tournament and considering they aren't allowing guns into the arena, Sharps cant enter" Feels points at Ash "but this guy is a special case, he has a Chaos Emerald on him, show them what you got," Feels said before bumping Ash with his arm. Ash looks down at the Chaos Emerald and tries to activate it, he pulls his arms back and thrusts them out, and… nothing "Right, so the new guy doesn't know how to use a Chaos Emerald" Mach said "But we ain't got any other choice but to bring him along" Ash stood there, feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement. Here he was, a stranger in a strange place, surrounded by a group of eccentric characters who seemed to have accepted him into their midst simply for their gain. Despite his initial uncertainty, Ash felt a sense of camaraderie between Feels, Sharps, Mach, Psycho, and Max. They were a ragtag group, but a common goal united them: to win the tournament of chaos and claim the ultimate prize, the Chaos Emeralds. Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails have finally arrived at Empire City "Alright" Sonic said while looking around "Now to find out where the baseball arena is" "If I had to take a guess" Tails said "It's in the center of the city" after a while, they reach the arena. At the door, they see a robot at the entrance welcoming people into the building. Sonic and Tails approached the robot and handed it a phone-like device with the invitation. The robot took the device and looked it over "Welcome to the tournament of chaos," the robot said in a monotone voice. "Please proceed to the registration area to complete your entry." Sonic is pumped up for the tournament "Alright," Sonic said, energetically "let's go!" they enter and see Fang, Bean, and Bark who seem to be waiting for the door in front of them to open up "Well," sonic said while approaching them "If it isn't team hooligan" "I ain't surprised to see you either sonic" Fang said with his hands on his hips "gonna assume you aren't here to watch us?" "I feel like that would have been obvious," Sonic said "Though if you three are the only ones that Tails and I are fighting, I suggest you just forfeit" "Nuh-uh, look at the board," Bean said while pointing at a board on the wall near them, the board showed that there were nine sports left "I may not be able to read, but I can still count," Bean said, Sonic and Tails glanced at the board, noting the number of spots still available for participants in the tournament. "Well, looks like we're not the only ones in the running," Tails remarked, his eyes scanning the board. "But that just means more excitement for us!" Sonic grinned, his competitive spirit igniting. "Exactly! Let's show them what we're made of, Tails!" Fang, Bean, and Bark exchanged a glance, a competitive spark in their eyes. "You're on, Sonic," Fang declared, a smirk on his lips. "We'll see who comes out on top in this tournament." He said, With a nod of agreement, Sonic and Tails joined Fang, Bean, and Bark, their determination shining bright as they awaited the start of the tournament. Little did they know, the battles that awaited them would push them to their limits and test their skills like never before. But with their unwavering friendship and indomitable spirit, Sonic and Tails were ready to take on any challenge and emerge victorious once again. Meanwhile, at the abandoned building, Feels, his gang, and Ash are getting ready "Well ive got everything I need" Feels said, fixing his bowtie "Let's get going" Feels, Sharps, Mach, Psycho, And Max get into their car "this is gonna be a long drive," Feels said to everyone "So think up some conversation topics" "H-hey Feels" Ash studders out "is it alright if i j-just go there myself?" "dude, it's a mile-long drive," Feels said "It'll take us an hour just to get to Empire City" "Th-then can I at see the d-directions?" Ash asks "J-just to make sure you know w-where you're going" "Oh, well I don't see why not" Feels said while showing Ash the map on his phone "So basically, we're gonna make a right once we reach-" Feels was then cut off by Ash "okthankscya" Ash said before running off at supersonic speeds "WOW!" Sharps yells, surprised "At that speed, he'll be there in no time!" "then we have no time to lose," Feels said while jumping into the car "Let's go!" Feels, Sharps, Psycho, Mach, and Max get in their car and drive off. As Feels and his gang sped off toward Empire City in their car, Ash dashed through the streets at supersonic speeds, his determination driving him forward. With each stride, he felt the wind rushing past him, the thrill of the race spurring him on. As he ran, Ash couldn't help but feel something deep inside of him, he didn't know what it was but whatever it was, he loved it. After a while, he was in a clearing surrounded by nothing but trees. He sped up going faster and faster, he went so fast that trees started coming out of the ground "Wow, that's how fast I'm going?" Ash thought "All of this power… it doesn't feel right" Ash slowed down, knowing that he didn't know the true extent of his power. As Ash slowed down, he took a moment to catch his breath and collect his thoughts. The rush of power he had felt coursing through him was exhilarating but left him unsettled. He knew that he possessed incredible speed and strength, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to it, something deeper that he didn't fully understand. Taking a deep breath, Ash focused on regaining his composure. He knew that he needed to be careful with his abilities and that he couldn't let them control him. With determination, he resolved to learn more about his powers and how to harness them responsibly. Meanwhile, Honey was driving by and saw the torn-down trees "What happened here?" Honey thought "And what's that up ahead?" Honey drove up to Ash "Hey" Honey said, "you alright?" Ash looked up at her, not saying a word "Do you need somewhere to be?" Honey asked "I can take you there, though it's gonna cost ya" "Th-the tournament of c-chaos." Ash studders "I'm heading to the tournament of c-chaos" "Really? Same here!" Honey said "Never mind the cost, hoop in, I'll take you there" Ash hesitantly got into Honey's car and drove off to the tournament. As Ashura hesitantly climbed into Honey's car, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards the kind stranger who had offered him a ride. Despite his initial reservations, he felt relieved to have found someone willing to help him on his journey to the tournament of chaos. As they drove towards their destination, Ash couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about the enigmatic woman beside him. He hadn't heard of Honey before, hell this was their first time meeting, but despite that, he was glad she helped him. "Thank you," Ash finally said, breaking the silence between them. "I appreciate you giving me a ride." Honey flashed him a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "No problem at all," she replied. "Just consider it a favor between fellow competitors." As they continued on their journey, Ash couldn't help but feel that feeling again, he didn't know if it was because of the kind stranger, or if it was because of the anticipation of the tournament. Meanwhile, Amy had just gotten to the stadium and gave the robot an invitation, the robot scanned the invitation "Welcome to the tournament of chaos," the robot said in a monotone voice. "Please proceed to the registration area to complete your entry." Amy thanks the robot and walks into the waiting room "Amy?" Sonic says, surprised "What are you doing here?" "I got invited to this place," Amy said "Guess it's pretty coincidental that we are both entering" "Well, well, well," Sonic said, teasingly nudging her shoulder "Looks like we've got ourselves some unexpected competition," Amy rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh, please, Sonic. As if you can even compete with me," she retorted, a confident smirk on her lips. Sonic chuckled. "We'll see about that, Amy. We'll see about that." As they made their way to the registration area together, Amy couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement coursing through her veins. Meanwhile, Team Chaotix has been wandering Empire City for an hour and a half "Charmy" Vector said, "Are you sure we aren't lost?" Charmy takes out a map, Vector, Espio, And Charmy look down at it "Nope" Charmy says "we just have to keep moving forward, we just have to go in between these two buildings" They look up from the map and see an open road, they look back down at the map "huh, that's strange" Charmy said, scratching his head "there should be a few buildings here" "let me see that" Espio said before taking the map from Charmy. Espio looks at it for a few seconds before sighing "What?" Charmy asks "What's wrong?" "Charmy…" Espio said "The map is upside down" "Oh?" Charmy said while scratching the back of his head nervously "Hehe, sorry" Espio flipped the map right side up "So, all we have to do is go in the opposite direction we were going in and we should be good" Espio said while putting the map away "Let's go" Before they ran off, they run into Mighty and Ray, who is also lost, they see Team Chaotix run by and think they might know where they are going "hey Espio" Ray shouted, "do you guys know the way to the tournament?" "Yeah, follow us," Vector says. Team Chaotix, Mighty, and Ray run towards the tournament, hoping not to be late. Meanwhile in a different part of the city, Honey and Ash have just arrived at the tournament, Honey gives the robot her invitation "Welcome to the tournament of chaos," the robot said in a monotone voice. "Please proceed to the registration area to complete your entry." Honey turns to Ash "Alright, let's go" Honey says. Ash looks Honey dead in the eyes then turns around to look behind himself "I'm sorry, I can't come with you" Ash says, looking back at Honey "M-my teammates h-have my i-invite" Honey looks at Ash skeptically "Are you sure you're part of the tournament?" she says "sure I'm sure" Ash says "why do you ask?" "Well I find it hard to believe that I found someone like you out in the middle of nowhere WITHOUT your 'team' and you don't even have an invitation," Honey says "I'm starting to think you're just a lucky fanboy." Meanwhile, feels and the gang are driving through the city "ey Sharps, how much longer until we're there?" Psycho asks "For the last time Psycho, we just got here and we're driving towards the tournament as we speak," Sharps says, clearly annoyed "Can you at least slow down Sharps?" Mach asks "You're going pretty fast" "Well so are these cars!" Sharps loudly says "I'm genuinely surprised how fast traffic in this city is" Psycho pulls out his phone and looks something up "Ey Sharps," Psycho says "Apparently this arena we're going to can have over 56,782 people in its bleachers?" Sharps turns to Psycho "Psycho I don't want to hear about your pointless facts" Sharps says, even more annoyed "I'm trying to focus on driving, I don't need to hear about any of your nonsense" "Uh Sharps?" Feels says "And another thing, you can teleport, so why do you need my help to bring all of your stuff into the car?!" Sharps loudly says "Sharps?!" Feels says a little louder "And another thing, put your seatbelt on!" Sharps yells "SHARPS HIT THE BREAKS!" Feels screams. Sharps immediately turns his head and slams on the brakes, causing Psycho to fly out the windshield. Back with Ash and honey "W-well… uh… you see" Ash studders out when suddenly, Psycho flies by them and lands a foot away from them, he then gets up "TA-DA!" Psycho says, striking a pose while Sharps can be heard yelling "My car!"
