Ash lays down in his bed, looking at the chaos emerald, which is giving off a green glow. He places the emerald on the dresser and closes his eyes. For a moment, it was quiet, nothing but the darkness surrounded him, and the shadows of his eyelids made him feel much calmer. Suddenly, an explosion rings out and Ash's eyes shoot open just in time to see a building collapsing, debris falling onto him, Ash rolls out of the way just in time and gets up and looks around, the world around him is destroyed, fire rains from the sky, water floods out of buildings, screams and cries ring out, Ash looks around and looks into the bright orange skies. There, blocking the sunlight, are six beings, all of which have their own respective Chaos Emeralds in hand which match their fur or quill color. The dark blue being held the blue Chaos Emerald, the red one held the red Chaos Emerald, and so on. The only color missing was the green Chaos Emerald and its respective being. Ash looked up at them and was awe-struck before the purple being shot a glance over at him, it was difficult for Ash to see their faces, but Ash could see that the purple one only had one giant glowing purple eye. The purple being pointed at Ash "There, the traitor!" it shouted. The rest of them look down at Ash, who turns around and runs away, he can hear the sound of a fireball shooting toward him. Ash closes his eyes in fear and then shoots up from his bed. He looks around at his bird-themed room, it is nothing more than a dream. Ash looks down at his hands "What was that?" Ash thinks "What did I just see, was it real? It felt too real to be a dream, I could feel the heat from the flames" Ash thinks for a moment, then looks at the curtains, Ash approaches the curtains and pushes them out of the way, letting the light from the window shine in. "Well," Ash says "at least it's morning now" Ash exits his room and goes to the lobby, but he doesn't see anyone there "Huh, I must be up early" Ash thinks. He sits at one of the tables and thinks about his dream, his thoughts are interrupted when Feels walks up to him "Hey Ash" Feels says "You're up early, something up?" Ash shrugs "Mind if I sit next to you?" Ash scoots away from Feels, letting him sit next to him. "So, I've been thinking about you for a while now," Feels says. Ash looks at him confused "Well not in that way, I find it odd how the Chaos Emerald seems to stay close to you, like when Psycho took it away from you and it just flew back into your hands, speaking of which, where is it?" Ash sees it float toward him, giving off an eerie green glow. It floats before him and lands on the table "I'm gonna assume you're not the one making it float?" Feels asks. Ash nods "Are you gonna say anything? You're being as quiet as the polar bear guy" Feels turns away from Ash and sees Bark sitting down across from them, Feels falls back in fright "I'm used to getting snuck up on my Psycho," Feels says, using his ears to hoist himself back up "but I at least know he could appear at any moment" "well we do live together" Psycho says, appearing next to him. Feels gets spooked by Psycho's sudden appearance "I just woke up, can you not?!" Feels says, loudly. After some time, everyone else walks into the lobby, finding their table for their gang and friends to sit at. Bark sees Fang and Bean sitting at a table near him and goes and sits down with them. Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails are talking about the arena "Don't you find it strange the rest of the stadium is blocked off?" Tails says while looking around at the steel doors that block off the rest of the stadium "I didn't think about it," Sonic said "It's probably just to make it easier to get from our room to the tournament" Sonic kicks his feet up onto the table and leans back, he then falls over due to the benches having no backrest "hey Sonic" Amy says, walking up to him and Tails "you alright?" Sonic then gets back up as quickly as possible to not make himself look dumb "Oh, hey Amy" Sonic says, trying to play it cool "When did you get here?" "yesterday?" Amy says, confused "You saw me enter this place" "right, right right" Sonic says. Amy takes a seat next to him, Sonic moves a little bit away from her "So, what have you two been talking about?" Amy asks "We were talking about the steel doors that close off the rest of this place" Tails said, pointing his thumb behind him at one of the doors "It's probably nothing important," Amy said, "What about your fight with Dr. Robotnik, anything new?" "eh, same old same old" Sonic said, leaning on the table "he made a new Metal Sonic named 'X Robot' It's a pretty dumb name if you ask me" Sonic then saw someone in the corner of his eye "hang on," he says, looking over at Ash "isn't that the dude with the green Chaos Emerald?" Tails and Amy look over at Ash "The description you gave me fits him" Tails says "Maybe we should go over and take the Emerald from him while we have the chance" "Nah, I think it would be best to wait and see what happens" Sonic says "and besides, he isn't hurting anyone" Meanwhile, Honey thinks about where she should sit "Maybe I should sit next to Ash, he's a good listener, but then ill have to associate with jester dude," Honey thinks "and I REALLY do not want to sit next to Psycho" near her, Mighty and Ray are talking before Ray looks over at Honey "hang on," Ray said "I recognize her" Ray gestures over at Honey "really, who?" Mighty says "I don't remember," Ray says "Well, I'm gonna go talk to her" Mighty says "What, why?" Ray asks. Mighty ignores him and confidently gets up and walks over to her. "Hey," Mighty says "you've been standing there for a few minutes, you alright?" Honey turns around and looks at the red armadillo "Yeah, I'm alright" Honey says "I'm just looking for a place to sit" "Well, you can come sit with us" Ray says. Mighty turns around and looks at Ray "Wait wha-" Mighty said before being cut off by Honey "Well alright, I suppose I'll sit with you two" she said, she sat down across from the duo. "So, uh… What do you do for a living?" Mighty asks "Well, I own a pretty big clothing company" Honey said. Ray stared at her, trying to figure out who Honey was "Really?" Mighty asked, "What's it called?" "Honeys Clothing" she says. After she said that, Ray finally figured out who Honey was "Wait, you're THE Honey the Cat?" Ray asks "Yeah, have you heard about me?" she asks "Yeah," Ray says "but I haven't bought any of your products" "Well you should," Honey says "I worked pretty hard on them" Suddenly, the TV turns on "if I could have your attention," The Glitch said, from the TV "it is time for the first fight to begin, could Nack the Weasel and Max the Monkey please head to the arena "well, time to see what you're made of" Fang said "your name is Nack?" Max says "that's a weird name" Fang shoves Max out of the way and walks down the hall "As for everyone else," The Glitch says "please make your way through the steel door that is currently opening" A steel door opens up, revealing three robots "Follow the robots to your seats, and don't mind the robots that will be following you, they are there to make sure you do not get hurt" everyone starts following the robots as five robots follow behind them "I don't think we would need protection," Honey said "they should know I don't need any help considering I was apart of the Fighting Vipers Tournament" after a while, everyone arrives at seats in the VIP row. Vector looks around the rest of the stadium and the audience below him before going and taking a seat. The JumboTron turns on "Welcome to the Tournament of Chaos" The Glitch announces, sounding a lot clearer "I'm the host of this tournament, The Glitch. For the first fight, we will start things off easy with two little-known fighters, please give a round of applause to Nack the Weasel and Max the Monkey!" the crowd erupts into cheers and claps. Fang runs out into the arena while Max walks out with his hands in his, their doors then close behind them "before the fight starts" The Glitch continues "there is only one round, so once you're down. You are out!" Fang gets into fighting a stance while Max keeps his hands in his pocket. Two drones fly down behind each of them "These drones will allow the people at home to get a much better look at the fight, now then are you ready?!" The Glitch yells "FIGHT!"
