"Good… oh and ONE warning… you and Maite only… onlookers can come if they want to view things in the room we talk in if we have a building to meet at… but if ANYONE gets to close to me at where we meet and by that I mean more then just you two… I'll assume its a trap and more… don't think you can intimidate me into being your bitch Surge… same with you Maite… I want to make it VERY clear that right now… I'm coming to meet you and stuff to settle things… HOW it is settled is up to you two… instead of being psychotic bitches… actually think of WHY I'm giving this warning… because right now… I may seem calm… but let me give you a word of advice… up until now… I have yet to get serious with using Dark Eco's more deadly forms and you Surge only scratched the surface of being a lightning Sage of Eco on your end…" Emerald said before he hung up on the duo while a beep beep noice was heard.
"What the fuck…" Surge said.
"I know… he is very serious. Either way, call off the spies." Maite said.
As this happened… the scene went to Emerald who hung up the phone and passed Bordux his phone.
"Just in case… call Azure and whoever she is with and make sure she listens to Surge… you want me to do this easy… thats my main demand… no negotiation…" Emerald said while he had a cold look in his eyes as he looks at Bordux and Aggro.
Aggro raised an eyebrow and was gonna retort but a look from Bordux made him shut up as he looks at Emerald.
"Certainly, we both don't want things to escalate." He said before taking out his phone.
"Is your friend recovering well?" He said as he dials the number.
"More or less… not exactly helped when his Ex attacked him for no reason." Emerald said before he got a colder look.
Bordux was not phased by the look.
"Well not sure if you are aware of the story but to shorten it… his wife… believes he cheated on her which I find it hard to believe considering pack mentality… granted I will investigate this since it sounds fishy."
"At the moment I could care less… even if it's a fishy story… she attacked Cedric who as far as I know doesn't have a cheating twisted bone in his body… guy maybe an idiot sometimes and I pull stupid stunts as well but unless he was hypnotized or something, no way he would cause issues with Azure… guys are too loyal to a fault sometimes." Emerald said as he walked away to go sit on a box while waiting for the elevator to move as Nicole showed up when she tracked Emerald finally.
Bordux saw this before he calls Azure and told her to listen to Surge when she calls as Nicole sees Emerald.
"Emerald… what are you doing?" Nicole said.
"Doing what you said Nicole… dealing with things soon with Surge and Maite since they won't stop in their antics and she has spies in your tribe." Emerald said while he looked at Nicole.

"I didn't mean now. This isn't the advice I was trying to give. I'd say you need more experience. How would Finn and Cedric react if you left. What about BMO? You know she'll be a worried wreck."
Emerald was silent as Aggro laughs while he looks at Nicole.
"Hahaha!... well soon Surge and Maite would get here so not like they wouldn't have issues later, honestly you would be better off not causing issues, once out of town you have no authority." Aggro said while he grins down at Nicole while he towers over her.
Nicole frowns.
"Excuse me dumbass, you weren't invited to the conversation so walk out.. or my foot says hello to your ass."
"Would be pointless, this is Aggro the Iron wall… if you know him Nicole, you would know that unless someone overpowers his Earth Eco, would be just a pointless attack… heard rumors he is virtually invincible." Emerald said while he warned Nicole picking a fight with Aggro would be bad.
Nicole crossed her arms.
"Maybe… I can still kick Surge's ass causing this."
"Guess you'll be joining us then?... remember that while its true that you wouldn't have issues with Surge… least wait till we get our cash before you cause trouble alright?" Bordux said with a smirk as the elevator starts to raise while the way Bordux said that sounded… odd… wait till he and Aggro got paid?
Nicole raises an eyebrow.
"What do you mean paid?"
"Oh nevermind." Bordux said while he looks amused as he walked off.
"I'll go and get something to drink… come along Emerald, Aggro, may as well make sure we are well fueled up before we head to Surge and Maite… knowing them, if they are predictable like I know… should head to a structure thats barely out of your borders Nicole… if you want to join Nicole, there should be a good restaurant here on the elevator we can head to… if we can make sure that if any trouble does happen… well can't say that we can blame hunger on weakness right?" Bordux said while he looks amused as Aggro laughs while he picks up Emerald by his head and Aggro carried Emerald off as Bordux walked to a large building so the group could eat and stuff.
Nicole didn't like this before she follows the trio.
Thankfully… Bubblegum and co saw this.
"Okay… this is definitely not good. We should definitely send that Cedric fellow that message." Bubblegum said.
"Like what?... can't just say… hey Cedric, we royals from Ooo were spying on Finn and stuff and…" Marceline starts to say as Huntress had written something down and passed it to Shade.
"I wish this note was on Cedric's chest if he is resting in a medical tent or something, if not and he is having fun with a Lynx tribe woman, have it float in front of his face and if he gets annoyed and destroys it, make sure it repairs itself until he reads it." Huntress said while she gave Shade a half lidded look when she reminds MANY she knew Cedric and Emerald from her visits to the badlands in the past.
"Um… okay." Shade said and snaps her fingers.
Comically a portal opened and it showed Cedric while he was funnily enough fucking a Lynx woman in a mating press in the medical area… looks like he was on the road to recovery given he was really going wild with going balls deep in the Lynx woman's folds while he growls and snarls… guess he was venting because he was really not being gentle yet it seems the woman was taking the thrusts like a champ.
"Fuck… really need this!" Cedric growls.
"Oh… fuck!... yes!... fuck me harder!... oh fuck!... take your frustrations out on me… flood me more!" The Lynx woman groans while the other Lynx woman nearby looks amused.
"Hehe… you know that she is a masochist when she enjoys dicks this deep." The Lynx woman said though she blinks when a note of some kind flew from a portal and smacked Cedric in the face as the portal closed.
"What the fuck was that?!" Cedric said as he grabs the paper from his face.
He would've crumbled it but after looking at it, his eyes widened.

Huntress's note read…
Back with the Royals when they could see the letter in detail…

"Okay… talk about blunt in that last part." Denise said.
"Hey best to be blunt now and deal with things later… for now we should make sure Finn gets a similar note so…" Huntress said as she wrote down another letter.
"I wish this letter got to Finn in a manner similar to Cedric… no need for a viewing portal… doubt he would need many words from me to get to helping Emerald… though would have to wait for the elevator to return since thats the only way out of the ruins from the floor he is on." Huntress said when she passed Shade the letter.
A random royal spoke.
"Will say that the wolf guy was packing well." She said as Shade granted the wish.
Many look to see who spoke when this voice sounds a bit new to many.
This Royal was humanoid even though she has a nice tan look with cute freckles on her face as her hair was a little white but not too much, with pigtails as well.. Even her bush matches the color.

Granted she's new, Bubblegum spoke up.
"Lisa?… I didn't know you came."

Everyone looked as Cedric was in a hurry.

When the massive elevator got to the top… many people were walking off… in no time… Cedric managed to see a bit away was Emerald walking with Nicole, Aggro, Bordux… and they were meeting up with Azure, Lanolin, Tangle, and Whisper…
"Huh?... So you're Azure?... or is it you, you, or you?... either way you really let Cedric have it." Emerald said while he had a cold look in his eyes as he looks at the four.
Azure frowns.
"He deserved for what he said." She said before the group heard the voice.
"Emerald!"
The group looks over and many were surprised to see Cedric.
"Cedric!?... what are you doing here?... thought you were at the healer… actually forget that… how did you even know I was here?" Emerald said when he never sent any message or anything to Cedric since as far as Emerald knew, he was still recovering.
"Huntress Wizard sent me a note. She and some other Royals spied on Finn to see if he was okay. Either way she told me what you were gonna do and I'm gonna stop this." Cedric said with a serious look.
Aggro on his end grins as he looks amused.
"Oh?... think you can take me little man?" Aggro said as he cracks his knuckles as Emerald narrows his eyes at Aggro before he looks at Cedric.
"Cedric… move… you really don't want to cause trouble… first off it would be 6 to 1 given Aggro and Bordux and your bitch of a wife and her friends would gun for you the moment you attack… and while I'm sure Nicole and I would help you… do you want to cause trouble in town with innocent people in the crossfire?" Emerald said while he looks seriously at Cedric.
Cedric didn't like this but Emerald was right.
"No… but it's wrong that you're gonna turn yourself in to some crazed bitches that need to fix on their personality."
"And if we didn't, would get attacked either in the ruins or out of town… face it Cedric… same with you Nicole… if I don't deal with Surge and Maite sooner or later… they WILL cause issues either soon by making some kind of checkpoint around the border of this area or later if they trail us after… at least if I do this… I don't have to hold back anymore…" Emerald said while he had a narrow eyed look as he surprisingly starts to emit Dark Eco.
"IF you AND Nicole truly want to get in my way either now or later at that meeting point… then do it like actual Eco warriors in a challenge otherwise… get out of our way." Emerald said while he looks deadly serious with the cold look forming in his eyes.
Cedric can tell Emerald is serious.
"Fine… I won't get in the way… but if you think I'm gonna leave after what we went through… think again."
Emerald on his end relaxed a bit though Azure scoffed.
"Really?... li-" Azure tried to say as Emerald moved faster then many expected with a RED colored mist emitting from him and he spoke with an actual demonic tone.
"One more word from you… and I'll snap your neck… you think I care you and Bordux are linked?... he told me what would happen to him if you die… just makes you my main target to take him down… but my main issue with you is that you fucking DON'T know Cedric like I do… you may have been married to him and maybe he DID cheat on you and may have not realized it if someone fucked with his mind… but I could care less… the Cedric I know… is loyal to the fault of being a dumbass like he is now… risking his VERY life against potentially you… Aggro… Bordux… and your fucking helpers… now either shut up… or just stay asleep!" Emerald growls as he smashed Azure into the ground with such force that the ground cracked under her while Emerald had blood red colored eyes while he had a look so cold that he almost looks demonic as Azure coughed up blood from the impact alone.
Normally in any story that revolves around the one of the B+ pairing like Azure and Cedric but here…
Cedric didn't react much… maybe a finger twitching as Tangle, Whisper and Lanolin went to Azure's aid.
Emerald though gave them a VERY cold look freezing them in their tracks.
"Don't think I'll humor mercy for traitors like you… I recognize you three… bounty hunters… fallen so low you work for Surge now?... well don't worry… just giving payback for Cedric… you want revenge… least wait till were at the place where Surge and Maite have picked before you attack me… I'll make sure you disgraces suffer." Emerald said as he moved from Azure as he looks at Bordux with a look full of venom.
"Heal your traitor of a bitch and lets get going… seems as long as Azure is your weak point… all I have to worry about is your Iron wall… and like iron not too fast if he didn't even react…" Emerald coldly said as he moved to walk away.
"I'll be at the entrance of town… meet me there once your finished but know this… harm Cedric or anyone here… and I'll risk fighting the fucking Iron wall… don't assume just because I gave myself up doesn't mean I won't cause issues if those I care for are in trouble." Emerald said as he walked away as he calms down to look normal… but the unnerving cold look in his eyes shows he was just holding back for when Surge and Maite arrive.
Nicole was really concerned on Emerald as did Cedric.
"May as well follow." Cedric said as he immediately left but before he did he gave Bordux a glass bottle with green liquid.
"This will heal her quickly." He said before walking more.
"Huh… didn't think you would care for that." Bordux said as he moved to give Azure the drink carefully so she could recover.
Cedric did stop.
"I'm not a monster… but this was nice payback." He said and continues walking.
"Hold on… just two questions… first… say you're right and you have no knowledge of this cheating… but… what if you mentally don't know but physically did the deed?... many magics can do many kinds of things from cloning to even mind control or brainwashing on a special kind of phrase or keyword… what if Azure was right and you did cheat but you didn't remember doing it because of then… and if thats the case… my follow up… what will you do then?... I'll admit that I'm partial to Azure and Lambchop here… but I can move out of the way for a bit to see if you can get your wife's forgiveness and hers with yours… after all if a third party is involved… well like it or not thanks to the deal Azure and I made… well… just a heads up… she and I will be heading back to your hometown to investigate… and given my success rate… I'll find out what really happend so if you have any kind of knowledge of the events… I don't mind picking that brain of yours for your side of the story later… for now though… just remember that after this issue with Surge is over… may visit your home town so depending on things… you may want to head there and let your parents know not to attack us… Aggro doesn't take kindly to attacks at face value." Bordux said to Cedric while he finished giving Azure the potion.
Cedric didn't say anything as he went after Emerald.
Though as he did… he did think of what Bordux said… was Azure and Cedric right?... physically Azure saw Cedric cheat?... and mentally… Cedric saw different?... even if he did think that was impossible… with what Azure said about the scar and his father attacking Azure… even if he found it stupid… unless he went and made sure Aggro didn't kill his family… they would most likely be hurt or worse… looks like… like it or not… he would have to go to his old home after finishing things with Emerald and his issues with Surge and Maite…
'Damn… never thought this was gonna happen. Even if my innocence was proven… I doubt there's still hope.' Cedric thought as the females helped Azure up.
As Azure groans when she held her head…
"Ugh… fuck… what hit me?" Azure said as Bordux sighs.
"You angering Emerald and him slamming you down to the ground faster then many of us could react… honestly your lucky he didn't kill you because he used a form of Eco I never saw before… honestly he wasn't lying when he said something about a new level of Eco control compared to other Eco users… oh and Cedric giving me a potion to heal you from that… surprisingly effective as well since you're up and about after well…" Bordux said while he looks at Azure with crossed arms as he looks down at the Azure shaped indent in the ground.
Azure though frowns.
"Cedric gave a potion?"
"It's true… we all saw." Lanolin said.
"Yeah… a green potion… looked to be glowing so maybe a Green Eco potion?" Tangle said when she rubs her head with her tail.
"Too small… most likely an elixir of all things given the taste." Bordux said when he licks a few drops from the bottle.
"Indeed… an elixir… seems this worked to do more then just internal wounds… looks like your scar on your body is gone as well if it worked as intended." Bordux said when he saw Azure's shirt pulled up a bit to show nothing but a bald patch where Azure's scar was showing that as long as she lets things grow out, her fur would grow and hide where her scar used to be.
Azure was surprised before remembering something.
"Green… Elixir?… Shit… that was his experimental healing potion."
"Experimental?... looks and tastes fine to me and given it doesn't take many drops before side effects are seen… you and I should feel something… guess if there were kinks… he worked them out." Bordux said when he looks at Azure curiously.
"Yes… it was something he worked on when helped teach a class in Wizard City." Azure said.
"Wait what?... you and Cedric were Wizards?" Lanolin said when she looks surprised by that, same with others, like Nicole as well when she was listening in.
"Nature Wizards." Azure said.
"Ah… makes sense… well unless there are issues with that potion later that you may as well tell us later about… should follow Emerald so we don't keep him waiting." Bordux said while he pockets the potion bottle and starts walking to the ruin entrance of the area.
Knowing Azure is okay, they group starts to head for the entrance.
After they met up with the duo… Emerald and Cedric were in their own buggy while Bordux had gotten his own with a large custom work to help fit Aggro inside of it.
"I'll drive ahead with Aggro so follow me… may as well have Azure and Lanolin ride with us while you take Nicole, Tangle, and Whisper…" Bordux said since the lack of seats meant people would have to ride with others.
"Very well… doesn't matter who rides with us but you two better not cause issues." Emerald said when he looks at Tangle and Whisper seriously as he got in the shotgun side of the seat as Cedric got in the driver side.
Whisper frowns at the threat but Tangle held her hand since she knows her wife better.
They then got in the buggy and well… after Nicole got in the back of the Buggy with Tangle and Whisper… the buggies drove off with Cedric following Bordux over the dune as Emerald was silent as he relaxed in his seat.
Cedric knew talking with Emerald won't help so he stayed quiet.
'Really hope Emerald knows what he's doing.' He thought.
Hours later… the buggies drove up to a large ruined building… it looked to look like a pre-mushroom war like structure of sorts… after the group got out… they saw a large number of Surge's men out front in various tents and stuff while some look to see Aggro and Bordux coming first with Azure, and Lanolin… followed by Emerald with Cedric, Nicole, Tangle, and Whisper.
One of the the thugs grin as he came over and grins at Bordux.
"Hehe… hey there… looks like you got the bosses new fucktoy huh?" The thug said as he pats Emerald on the head while he chuckles dumbly when he REALLY didn't think Emerald looks special…
Cedric shook his head.
"Dumbo… shouldn't have said that."
"Huh what d-!" the thug said as he and many were shocked… even Cedric to some level when Emerald just pierced his hand through the gut of the goon and with a pulse of Dark Eco… blew the guy up from the inside out as he had a cold look on his face as he looks at many other thugs.
"Want to be dumbasses like him?... where is Surge and Maite?... I'm not in the mood for this shit." Emerald said while he dared anyone to give him any other kind of answer.
One of the thugs pales greatly before one of them shakenly raised his hand.
"O-Over there."
Turns out, the duo were inside the large building as Emerald was quiet as he just walked towards the building while not caring if he had blood on him right now while he walked by many thugs who backed away from him with nervous looks about them as Aggro and Bordux followed… hey they had to get paid first before anything else happens so may as well see where this goes.
The rest of the group follows while the thugs did do anything as they witnessed one of their allies killed.
Inside the building… Emerald walked with some directions to a large room that was empty… well besides there being a large makeshift throne with Surge on it and a smaller one with Maite as many women were in the room chained to the walls for some reason… they were at the walls mainly while Surge grins and Maite licks her lips when she saw Emerald entering the room with Aggro and Bordux mainly while Cedric, Azure, Lanolin, Tangle, Whisper, and Nicole followed inside.
"Well this is a nice meeting, despite the extra guests but good job boys." Surge said.
"Thank you… Aggro and I had an unexpected turnabout but… we brought Emerald here like you asked… anyway your reward if you would be so kind so we can finish our business." Bordux said when he smiles as Aggro approached Surge and Maite to see if they had the cash.
Surge looks at Maite.
"Pay them sis."
Maite looks amused before she passed Aggro a large bag of gold.
"Here… should have everything in full unless someone pinched a few gold coins off the top." Maite said when she smirks at Aggro.
Aggro grins.
"Thanks for doing business." He said.
"Indeed… and now were not under a contract anymore so…" Bordux said as Emerald leans forward.
"Good." Was all Emerald said as he rushed to throw a fist at Maite's head with shocking speed full of Dark eco.
Maite's eyes widened as Surge tried to intervene.
This results in her slamming Emerald's fist down with a foot while Emerald gave her a cold look as he looks Surge in the eyes.
"Good thing you paid off your indestructible help… now I can kill you and Maite and get you two off my ass so I can actually live in peace for once in the badlands." Emerald said as he took a Dark eco form while he emits insane killing intent while Nicole and even Cedric were surprised by what Emerald had planned… wait for Surge and Maite to pay off Bordux and Aggro so they wouldn't be liable to help in this kind of fight… more ways to fight a battle then this it seems.
"You did this to kill us?!" Surge said as Bordux was surprised Emerald used him and Aggro.
Emerald though scoffed as he forced Surge back.
"What?... think I would even humor being your bitch after ALL the shit you put me through… please… your the reasons why I can't have any kind of relationship at all since you… Maite… and many other women have fucked with my head for far too long… Nicole was right in one thing even if unintended… if I don't get rid of you two now… when will I ever get better or ever have a chance to have a normal relationship… I leave the badlands… you would probably hire these two or others to come after me so may as well take things out at the source." Emerald said as he cracks his knuckles… and this time… he had an unnerving grin.
"And believe me… I'll enjoy this since you two stalkers really annoy me." Emerald grins in an ominous and evil way.
Nicole really regrets her words.
"This is not what I meant." She said.
Maite tries to plead to Emerald.
"Stop… if this is what you want… Surge and I will stop. Don't kill us and I'll royal promise you."
Emerald though got an enraged look as he used a kick to send a wave of Dark Eco right at Maite and it was a red colored one and as Surge moved to get her out of the way… the wall was obliterated to show that was not a low level attack.
"You think… a damned Royal promise… after ALL you and your bitch of a sister did to me will EVER come close to what a Royal promise will EVER do!?... fuck that… NO Royal promise has ANY effect here… were not in Ooo… after all you and Surge did… you think after you two fucking with my head and with many more… you think I'll settle for anything less than your death!?... no… I'll make you suffer you fucking Hypocritical bitches!" Emerald growls as he roars when he bursts with red energy as his body was enveloped by Eco so dark… it warped as his fur turned a dark red… his eyes turned pure black while the greens of his eyes look demonic as he growls this.
"This… is what it means to go to another level… in this state… the ONLY thing allowing me to tell friend from foe is VERY thin so… NO one… get in my way because right now…" Emerald growls as he looks oddly calm yet the look in his eyes look fully unhinged.
"I may not stop my attacks and go through ANYONE to make these two bitches suffer!" Emerald growls while he looks at Surge and Maite in the eyes.
This was terrifying and Surge had to do something.
"Maite… you need to run fast while I hold him off."
Emerald though moved with shocking speed and kicked Surge through a wall before even SHE could react much… best she could do was just block and Maite was gripped on the throat by Emerald.
"I'll deal with you later Maite… enjoy explaining to the others in WHY they would even humor listening to a hypocrite like you while I make Surge regret pissing me off… this form… what you see… is something that YOU two helped make… not entirely… but damn well made my life hell by being fucking stalkers and more with your bandits keeping me from having any kind of peace… so enjoy… you made a fucking monster of Dark Eco." Emerald said before he threw Maite HARD to the middle of the room and she crashed on the ground hard a couple times as Emerald coldly turned to see Surge picking herself up and sparking as she had an angered look on her face.
"You… made a terrible mistake… you made yourself the monster." Surge said.
Emerald just rolls his eyes and gave Surge the middle finger.
"Just shut up and come at me… I want to show you how outclassed you are when you can't take it to the next level like I have." Emerald just said as he walked towards Surge with killing intent emitting from him in waves as his claws lengthen to deadly points.
Surge had to think fast so she quickly kicked a table to Emerald before she tries to go for her sister.
Emerald though just ignore the table and as Surge moved by… Emerald gripped her ankle.
"Bad move." Emerald said before he slammed Surge HARD onto the ground making it rumble for a moment before he threw Surge HARD through another wall and Emerald followed as more crashes were heard… as this happend Maite recovered to see Surge fighting Emerald… while his form was abnormal… when Surge focused on trying to not get caught by Emerald when she focused on him he barely could get her a few times… keyword barely… Emerald was slowly adapting to Surge's speed over time though…
"No." Maite said as she summons a hammer and tries to help Surge.
"We have to do something." Nicole said.
"We can't… Emerald is too lost in anger. If we do this… we die." Cedric said.
"And you think he would really kill someone just to get to Surge and Maite?" Azure said when she had a raised eyebrow as Cedric looks Azure in the eyes.
"In that state… Emerald nearly killed me once… I saw it before and I can assure you that when that happened… it was an unintended thing… mainly I was trying to keep out of the crossfire… and Emerald wasn't going all out in that form at the time once… this time… unintended or not… one wrong move… and you're dead… I'm not sure what is going on with Emerald and this new Dark Eco state but I can tell you it makes the first level look like a joke… the amount of power and speed Emerald gains is insane but the cost is his morality and sanity… while I'm surprised he used this much power… what I'm not surprised is Emerald attacking Surge and Maite… I mean did you think bringing Emerald here by force would be good Azure?... or did you think he would be happy?... I'll admit… we had issues… we had this FUBAR thing and even if I humored that hypnotize idea or something and I did cheat on you… at the very LEAST I wasn't in my right mind at the time if that was the case… whats YOUR excuse here if you did get Emerald here without me and stuff?... Aggro and Bordux are not liable to help you since they were paid and now since you have that contract with Bordux, he won't let you do anything to risk your life… guess who is the last hope of sorts for Surge and Maite and from what I can tell… they look petrified right now." Cedric said when he saw Tangle, Lanolin… and even to some extent Whisper looking VERY nervous from all they saw with Emerald… it was like they brought Pandora's box into this place.
Bordux looks at Azure.
"He is right."
Azure on her end grits her fangs.
"Seriously?... even if he did get revenge would that even calm him?" Azure said while Cedric looks her in the eyes.
"You have no idea do you?... even after hearing ALL you have with Surge and Maite in how they lead bandits?... not sure how you got such a high ranking here but let me ask… do you know WHY Surge and Maite were obsessed with Emerald?... its because he was strong and to them… adorable… now… they are getting what's coming to them… for years they caused many issues for Emerald in the past… so you tell me… if one event… large as well caused us to split up… what kind of anger and rage do you think Emerald has built up over time from their actions alone?... and thats not even counting the globs fucking with him with the Cosmic owl and that prophetic dream and many other issues that cropped up… no wonder he has that Dark Eco second level… if its based on rage… he must have been building up anger for so long it finally bursts… given you were so revenge obsessed with me… think YOU of all people have any right to say anything to Emerald given things?... I'll admit I could be wrong… hell I'll admit I MAY have cheated but I don't remember that at ALL… if I did I am sorry!... I'm sorry for what my family did to you and I'm sorry you had to go through all you did… but Surge and Maite… they consciously fucked with Emerald till he got to THIS!... it doesn't matter how you spin it Azure… but right now… you may as well be looking an a rage fualed beast version of yourself so look well Azure because right now… you may as well be looking at a mirror of sorts of what could be if you stick with Surge and Maite." Cedric said while Emerald was blasted back by lightning into the middle of the room by a panting Surge and Maite, who was panting as well, had entered the room but Emerald barely looked damaged at all… but looked rather monstrous right now… in this case Emerald was like Azure and letting his rage and revenge take over his mind entirely like Azure did with Cedric and to an entirely different level.
Maite got serious.
"Sis… I don't know if we'll make it but… it was great ruling with you."
Surge grits her teeth.
"Oh shut it Maite!... like we're dying here!... even if this is abnormal all forms have a weakness and he must be running on fumes now!" Surge said when she was rather defiant as Emerald looks amused.
"True… keeping this form up does take energy… but… one thing you should know…" Emerald growls as his eyes glow a darker red.
"If it means losing all access to Eco entirely to make sure you two don't survive or suffer at least… I could care less if I permanently damage myself to that point to keep this form active." Emerald growls as he cracks his neck while he looks ready to strike again.
Surge scoffs.
"You think killing us will give you peace… you're wrong."
Emerald though was quiet as he heard that…
"Wrong?... you think… letting you live or leave you as a bandit boss who can torment me will be better?..." Emerald growls as Nicole had enough when she saw something VERY ominous… purple mist.
"Surge… Maite… for the love of Eco shut up because you're making things worse…" Nicole said as she moved to surprisingly get between Emerald and block him from getting to Surge and Maite.
No one knows what Nicole was doing but seeing this…
"Let's go." Maite said as she grabs Surge's hand to escape.
Emerald though was about to stop them when Nicole shockingly took her light Eco form and actually kicked Emerald back… he rubs his lips and looks at Nicole.
"You do realize what you're doing right?... humor me and answer you traitor… you let them go… who knows who else they may torment." Emerald said when he emits a killing intent to Nicole now since she was getting in his way.
Nicole got serious.
"Doesn't matter. You're letting your anger control you. If you kill them… think it'll be over like that?"
Emerald though cracks his neck.
"Maybe… maybe not… very least I'll be able to sleep easy… before they run off… they should hear this… but… think this form came from simple anger… no… these two helped make this form because they tormented me for YEARS… all because they were fixated on me… say I let them go Nicole… whats to stop them from coming after me again?... and even if not… they would just torment someone else… no… I'm ending this… no matter what… and if you get in my way…" Emerald growls as he points his hand at Nicole.
"Then die." was all Emerald said as he blasts a large orb of Dark Eco at Nicole showing he was willing to kill her to get to Maite and Surge if needed.
Nicole sighs.
"I'll pray for your soul as you die alone."
Nicole then used her time powers to slow down time… however something was off… this had Nicole move to use her powers to get everyone out of the room FAST… when Emerald's attack actually broke over Nicole's control over time and another part of the building was destroyed as Emerald looks at a shocked Nicole.
"Don't be so surprised… Dark Eco is the opposite of Light Eco… if you control time… I control space… I invaded your slowed time with that attack… you think your mastery over Eco would be an end game Eco or something?... please… my form may have its limits but your Light Eco form is not one for combat… it's mainly defense and restorative… not offense." Emerald said while he gave Nicole a cold look.
"Damn… was not expecting this. But you must stop Emerald. Those two are in fear. They know what you can do." Nicole said to see reason.
Emerald though looks more angered.
"Fear?... FEAR?... you look at them and tell me that they are feeling fear… from my perspective… Maite looks like she is fucking dripping and Surge looks worked up… or is that a hidden weapon in her pants?... because to me… parts of their minds are more fucked up then mine for that to happen…." Emerald said when he gestured for Nicole to look behind her.
Though Nicole didn't have to as she knew Maite and Surge better.
"Take it from a words of woman… obviously they, like me want a strong mate, hence why they wanted you… but now you're just another cold blood murder."
Emerald though got livid at this.
"Oh don't YOU of all Lynx's call me cold blooded OR a killer… I have never harmed an innocent… you… remind me Nicole… if any of the rumors are true… your no saint from before you joined your tribe officially as a light Eco practitioner… not like you are now… or was that Dark Eco that you can control from some kind of place where you get that kind of control from raw talent alone because I call bullshit… as for cold blooded murder… want to look me in the eyes and tell me that Maite and Surge don't have karma from all they did?... say I let them live… what fucking right do you have to stop me because again… BANDIT bosses of the badlands… they rape… pillage… and kill to their hearts content… to me… there nothing more then monsters… I IMITATE them… not become them… after all I show mercy to many… when has Surge showed mercy to victims she rapes… or when has Maite stopped Surge from doing this or just leaving the badlands… they are the STRONGEST of their own practices in battle from Lightning eco to earth Eco in their own rights… yet they kill and harm others… if it was ANYONE else… I would easily back off… but these two… no… you want to stop me Nicole… you'll have to-!" Emerald said as his anger rose but to many's shock… Emerald suddenly starts coughing and… coughs up a lot of blood…
"Emerald… this isn't good. Power down man." Cedric said.
Emerald though growls at Cedric.
"Not until I end those bitches… even if this form does kill me… very least I'll have the last laugh since it means they can't get their so called prize… I live… they die… I die… they lose their precious fucking prize… tell me… what do I really have to lose?... BMO may as well be a one time thing since she and I barely did anything… we may have palled around Cedric but that was a short time before we ran into Finn… I may know some people like Nicole but thats a seriously barely…" Emerald growls before he looks at many with anger.
"So don't fucking pretend to care when all it seems is that I'm enemy number one… tell me… if I'm really wrong then does that mean people like Surge and Maite are right?... that Nicole's holier than thou attitude is correct?... is my anger… all the rage I've held back for SO long thanks to these bitches pointless because if so… then whatt he actual fuck have I survived in the badlands for so long for!?" Emerald growls before he roars this.
"TELL ME!... WHAT HAVE I FUCKING DONE TO DESERVE THIS FUCKING KIND OF LIFE WHERE IT SEEMS NO MATTER WHAT I DO SOMEONE HAS TO SAY I'M THE WRONG ONE!" Emerald roars while he looks livid as blood drips down his lips.
Things were getting worse, if nothing is done, no one is safe.
Comically enough… a portal opened and well… BMO… Finn… Brass, Frost, Korra, and Rose fell through making many blink in shock from this sudden arrival.
"What the!?" Tangle said when many were getting off the ground with groans or dazed looks on their faces.
"Oh man… glad Shade can grant wishes from a distances but… where are we and WHAT THE GLOB!?" Finn tried to say before he saw Emerald in this new form and looks shocked as Emerald speaks.
"Finn?... you… have the absolute worst timing imaginable right now." Emerald said with narrowed eyes as he looks at Finn with a deadly look in his eyes right now.
BMO gasps.
"Emerald… what have you become?"
"Simple BMO… take a look who is with that Traitor Nicole… Surge and Maite… those two are the reason I'm in this form… a form beyond what a Dark Eco state can do… even if the side effects may kill me if I don't power down… well… not like it matters even if I do explain… all you should know… is that those two… are who I am trying to kill… the two who sent bounties after me daily… who are obsessed with me to stalker levels… Surge and Maite… the bosses of the bandits of the Badlands…" Emerald said while he looks coldly at the newcomers.
"Now… get out of my way… because right now… I'll rip ANYONE apart." Emerald said as he breathed in and when he breathed out… a dark red mist emits from him for a moment… hard to tell if that was blood evaporating now or eco he was channeling.
Nicole was not licking this.
"Brass, get everyone out and I mean everyone. My fight is with Emerald."
Emerald though was not having this as he moved with insane speed and though his legs bled now from how forced his muscles were to power up… he backhands Nicole out of his way faster then any could react as Emerald's arm bled immensely while Nicole, though fast enough to block, was stunned when she hit the wall.
Emerald then looks at Surge and Maite and looks them in the eyes.
"I want you to know ONE thing… I didn't turn myself into a monster… YOU TWO did… if not for you…my anger and rage built up to the point that now… injuries like this… I don't feel a thing anymore… probably a sign I pushed my body well beyond the point of saving so… let me ask… do you two really feel guilt because if you say yes… I don't believe that at all." Emerald said as he coldly looks Surge and Maite in the eyes after he looks at his arm and didn't feel pain which was worrisome since feeling pain meant it was still healable… now… probably a dead arm.
Maite and Surge knew if they lie it make things worst.
"Fuck it… do what you want." Surge said as she use her body to shield Maite.
Emerald seeing this had a cold look.
"Fine." Was all Emerald said… though… shockingly all he did was… stab himself in the chest!?... no wound was seen but he pulls out some kind of large black orb.
"I'll give you two choices you two… either die… or you feel what I have been feeling ALL these years… fragments of the anger… rage… frustration I've felt that you caused… unless you understand… you may as well be dead to me… your call… but know this… if you die… you die… if you still feel nothing after you two take these in… I'll make sure you heartless bitches suffer even if I'm crippled for life… there is a pretty good chances I can't use my left arm now thanks to Nicole here making me push my arm through another time stop… so don't make me regret giving you a chance to learn your lesson in a way that won't fuck with your lives… and I mean BOTH of you…" Emerald said while he looks Maite and Surge in the eyes.
Maite and Surge couldn't believe this after looking at one another they look at Emerald.
"We'll… take the orbs." Maite said.
Emerald nods before he had them split… when he forced them into Maite and Surge's chest… nothing happened for a moment but then their eyes turned pure white as they fell back and passed out… before anyone could speak…
"Depending on if their minds survive or not… they will wake later… probably with the biggest migraines of their lives but they will live… how they will act though… not even I will know… hope you're happy Nicole… because these two may have a change of heart for the better… but if not… you'll be responsible and for one pretty good reason." Emerald said as he powers down but this just shocked many when the red on his body covered insane amounts of blood leaking from various parts of his body.
"Because something tells me I may not wake for a good… long…" Emerald said before he fell back and passed out on the ground as blood leaked from his body.
"Emerald!" BMO said as she rushes to his body.
"You have any more elixir's Cedric?" Bordux said when he looks at Cedric calmly since he was thinking of ways to stop Emerald from bleeding.
Cedric was quiet.
"Thankfully… I do." He said as he goes to his unconscious ally and pulls a few bottles out.
He tries to apply some.
For some reason though… Emerald's wounds… wouldn't heal!?
"Shit!… it's not working." Cedric said.
"Do something!" BMO said.
"Dammit BMO I'm a wizard… not a fucking doctor!" Cedric said.
As they worried more… Finn on his end thought a mile a minute and he had a realization on his face.
"Hey Shade!... I know you're watching this with the others after all you said through that portal!... if you're as strong as you claim with your powers… I wish Emerald was healed!... if not from limits… then I wish his body was in a state that could be healed!" Finn said when he looks at the sky so to speak.
When the royals heard this…
"Can you do it Shade?" Denise said.
Shade rolls her eyes.
"Simple… can't do it fully since that damage he did was intense… but putting him in a healable state…" Shade said as she snaps her fingers and Emerald's body starts to glow while Cedric's elixir starts to take effect to some level as Shade smirks.
"... That is a simple matter for me." Shade said while she looks amused.
Everyone on Finn's side was surprised when they saw the glow on Emerald's body.
When it fades… Emerald was still knocked out… but he didn't look as unhealthy as he did before and while some of Emerald's wounds… mainly his left arm still looked bad… he was now longer bleeding… guess a side effect of the Dark eco level he used was wounds that were so hard to heal that even in a healable state thanks to Shade… would take a long time to recover from even with help… but still he was slumbering with his head on BMO's lap..
Nicole sighs as she powers down.
"We're gonna have to get him to the healers soon." She said before looking at Azure.
"Let's hope your bosses learn something."
"One thing first Nicole… I pray for your soul as you die alone?" Cedric said when he remembered hearing Nicole say that one earlier as he picked Emerald up carefully.
"It's just a saying. Sometimes doesn't makes sense. Been meaning to change that." Nicole said.
"Right… anyway I'll get him to a buggy but just in case… Finn… I'll let you drive the buggy back to the Lynx tribe so follow me… may as well have BMO tag along… got room for one more in the buggy so any takers?... will have to take return trips anyway so may as well hire Bordux for a small taxi service if he is willing to carry these two in his buggy or something so we can keep an eye on them…" Cedric said as he looks at the group though he did glance at Surge and Maite's knocked out states showing that they would be brought a long to make sure they keep out of trouble and stuff.
Bordux nods his head.
"Can talk of pricing later. Let's get to work, Aggro."
"Right." Aggro said as he pockets the gold from Maite and picked up Maite and Surge as he carried them from the room… though Cedric did look at Nicole seriously.
"You know Nicole… I get you were trying to keep Emerald from making insane mistakes… but… try and not force your values on him OK?... as you can see… Emerald pretty much forced himself to do what he did because those two… and also because you said his way of life was more or less wrong… I'll admit… you're not wrong… being calm… collected… in control… that's good but… sometimes… no one wants to be told their wrong when most of their life from what I heard from Emerald was running and trying to survive from these two… to Emerald… you may have as well spat in his face more or less… I mean… seriously… giving mercy is fine so Emerald doesn't go too far but… if people you cared for were threatened and harmed… would YOU show mercy?... every saint has a limit in patience… and you're not exempt from that… we're only mortal after all." Cedric said as he carried Emerald from the room.
Nicole was silent but did let it sink in.
'He's right about that. Maybe I should have him be a teacher here since he gives better philosophy.' She thought.
This then had the groups leave while BMO got in the buggy while she had Emerald rest against her shoulder while she looks worried as Finn got in the driver seat and Cedric got shotgun while Nicole surprisingly moved to go to Bordux and Aggro.
"I'll make sure these two won't cause trouble… may as well let someone else go in the buggy with them." Nicole said when she looks at Bordux.
"Very well." Bordux said.
As this happened…
"I'll wait here and free people who looked to be chained to walls with Korra helping out… same with Frost and Rose here… unless one of you four ladies want to join Finn's buggy, looks like its just them heading back." Brass said while he looks at he group seriously.
"I'll join." Lanolin said.
"Alright… looks like I'll be working with you three to free prisoners then." Brass said when he looks at Azure, Tangle, and Whisper.
As this happened… the buggies drove away after Lanolin got in Finn's buggy and as the buggy drove along he sands while Finn followed Bordux… he had a thought after seeing how far Emerald's rage took him… probably a lesson for him to REALLY get the Dark Eco under control and not use that kind of form… first level was manageable… that level Emerald used… would probably be the death of him… ironically this was one hell of a lesson for Finn it seems.
'Man… maybe I shouldn't rely on my Dark form or else I would be in a terrible state like Emerald. I better make sure I get good control on my emotions.' Finn thought.
Though if he would stick to that and try and not use his Dark Eco form for battle would be hard to tell now… the scene fades to black as the buggies drive along the sands… looks like soon… once Emerald heals and if Surge and Maite wake… looks like soon a new arc would start with Cedric's family next… and the mystery of what happened with him and Azure… before that happens though… serious TLC needed and more if Finn wants to learn things so he doesn't rely on Dark Eco… maybe next chapter as well… he finally learns how to use other skills that were foreshadowed earlier in this arc…
