IOn Christmas morning 2020. Lily was awoken at 5 A.M. by five male voices chorusing 'MERRY CHRISTMAS LILY!' while the same five people doused her in red and green confetti.

Getting out of bed and looking around her room, Lily saw that her floor was covered in red and green confetti, her walls were covered in red and green bows, and there were numerous red and green balloons floating from the ceiling. Looking at her person, Lily saw that her normally hot pink pajamas were red and her normally hot pink slippers were green.

"Merry Christmas, Devon, Hugo, James, Albus, and dad!" replied Lily merrily, "What a super cool way to wake up on Christmas!"

"I really went all in on the red and green theme this year!" grinned Harry, "You can stay in your jammies and slippers. We aren't leaving the house today. But please follow us down to the living room."

"Yes!" said Lily eagerly, "I can tell already that this is going to be a really fun Christmas. Thanks, dad! This just so cool, so awesome, so well, merry!"

"Harry woke us up all the same way, with the confetti dump and the Merry Christmas but with each woke person participating in the next person's awakening, " explained Devon, "He woke me first, then Hugo, then James, then Albus, and you last."

"Cool!" beamed Lily.

Lily saw that Devon, Hugo, James, Albus, and Harry were all also wearing red pajamas with green slippers and she followed them down to the living room.

The nanosecond she entered the living room, Lily's eyes were drawn to the lit Christmas tree. Instead of the multicolored lights that has adorned the tree the night before, it now featured a two colored light scheme of alternating red and green that mixed nicely with the red and green Christmas balls on the tree. Under the tree were their presents which were all wrapped with some kind of red and green covering.

"Man, what a fun theme, " beamed Lily, "It just feels so well, Christmassy in the house!"

Looking around, Lily now saw the living room was covered in the same confetti, bows, and balloons as her room.

"Yeah, " confirmed Harry as he saw where Lily was looking, "I set up red and green confetti, bows, and balloons in every room in the house."

"Awesome!" cooed Lily.

"Harry, " said Devon clearly, "How about everybody open their present from me first. I got everyone, including myself, the same thing. I got everyone in our circle, including all the parents and guardians, one. I put the bag with Ginny's in her room and she can open it when she gets home from her cruise."

"Ginny can have a late mini Christmas when she gets home, " smiled Harry, "So we're looking for bags?"

"Yes, " confirmed Devon, "Red bags with green bows. They also have red to and from tags with green writing."

So, Devon, Hugo, James, Albus, Harry, and Lily each retrieved the bag with his or her name on the to part of the to from tag.

"OPEN UP!" piped up Devon eagerly.

So, Devon, Hugo, James, Albus, Harry, and Lily all tore open the bags and found mirrors inside of them. They basically looked like ordinary mirrors with white trim around the edges.

"These are magical mirrors, " explained Devon, "But not two way mirrors. These mirrors actually build on the concept of the two way mirror. These are many way mirrors. Any person who has a many way can talk via it to any other person who has a many way mirror and infinitely many people can join the conversation at the same time as long as they all have a magical mirror. If two people are already talking vis the mirrors, either can invite a third person by saying his or her name into his or her mirror and both of the first two people will appear in the third person's mirror. All of the first five would appear in the sixth person's mirror. and so forth."

"Wow!" said Lily brightly, "What a nice way to be able to talk to each other over long distances."

"Yeah, " agreed James, "This a perfect gift to get for everyone, "I think we'll appreciate these many way mirrors more as time marches on and we start to use them."

"Especially since our circle has gotten bigger, " said Hugo cheerfully.

"And closer, " added Albus, "It's incredible what our circle has become and is becoming."

"That was really thoughtful of you to include the adults as well, " Harry told Devon gratefully,

"By including the adults, the parents and guardians can speak with their children and wards while they are away at Hogwarts. For example, you and Ginny could talk to James, Albus and Lily via the many way mirrors. Yes, my first thoughts were about friends talking to friends via the many way mirrors, which will be a quite common use, but you see now how complete this idea is."

""We do, " chroused Hugo, James, Albus, Harry, and Lily.

"Thank you, a lot, Devon, " said Harry sincerely, "As a parent, the idea that I can communicate with James, Albus, and Lily via these many way mirrors gives me strong feelings of both happiness and peace."

"This is probably going to end being the best present we receive this year, " said Lily gratefully, "Anything that enhances my ability to interact with family and friends is a huge plus. You all know how important family and friends are to me

"Totally agree, big sis, " added James happily, "It's too bad we didn't possess these mirrors during your quartertone."

"Actually, " revealed Devon, "Lily's quarantine was my motivation for selecting these mirrors as my gifts to my circle. I thought back to that time and I realized that these mirrors are a way to make sure no one in circle ever has to deal with that extreme loneliness ever again."

Lily gave Devon a grateful smile and asked, "Who's next?"
