Devon, Hugo, James, Albus, Fred, Todd, Miles, Gary, Gordon, Aaron, Rachel, Roxanne, Rose, Pamela, Penny, Courtney, Stephanie, Samantha, Ainsley, and Lily next moved on to discussing what Miles, Gary, and Todd were up to in the muggle world.

"On October 24th, Todd, Gary and I are planning on visiting a haunted house in our neighborhood that's going to be open all October.

"That sounds fun," smiled Samantha.

"We're really looking forward to it," added Todd.

"Better yet is the fact that it's an opportunity we earned," said Gary proudly.

"How?" inquired Lily curiously.

"Our school held a three on three basketball tournament," explained Todd, "Students formed their own teams of three and signed up. There was a prize for winning this tournament and that prize was three tickets to attend that haunted house from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. on October 24th."

"That's so cool!" piped up Gordon glowingly, "But what was the competition like."

"The games were very hard fought, and they all came down to the wire," said Todd honestly.

"It was Miles were won for us in the end," said Gary gratefully.

"We made it to the championship game, and we were competing against a team of girls named Jennifer, Jessica, and Julia," said Todd matter of factly.

"The J club," smirked Penny.

"The J club was our opponent's actual team name," revealed Gary.

"Jennifer hit two free throws with two and two tenths' seconds left to give the J Club a 99-97 lead, " explained Miles, "Gary inbounded the ball to me. The three girls all tripled teamed me but I heaved a shot from three quarters court over all their heads that went into the basket nothing but net for a 100-99 for the Buzzer Boys, as we had named our team.

"Fitting name," beamed Ainsley.

"I'd have loved to have seen the looks on Jennifer's, Jessica's, and Julia's faces when the ball went through the hoop," said Devon dreamily, "That would have been priceless."

"They definitely had these super stunned looks on their faces," remembered Todd, "But to be honest, the J Club didn't come out of things too badly."

"There was a second place prize then?" Stephanie asked Todd to confirm.

"Yes," answered Todd, "Jennifer, Jessica, and Julia each received Super Soaker 50 water guns as a runner up prize. "

"Jennifer, Jessica, and Julia all used their Super Soaker 50 water guns to prank us a few days after the championship game by squirting us from behind," giggled Gary.

"We were stuck wearing soaking wet clothes the rest of the day, " laughed Miles, "But it was all in good fun and we were able to laugh right along with them. Jennifer, Jessica, and Julia even told us the next day how much they appreciated us being good sports about being the targets of their pranks."

"It must have been heartbreaking for them to lose out on that trip to the haunted house at the last nanosecond," observed Hugo.

"They can still go if they want to," said Miles reasonably, "They'll just have to pay for themselves if they do."

"There is no attendance limit at the haunted house," continued Todd, "Heck, maybe we'll run into them while we are there."

"That's quite possible," guessed Lily, "If they already had plans to go, they'd probably still go even if they had to pay. Though, I have a gut feeling they won't have to. I have a gut feeling they will win a raffle to get free tickets that way."
