Chapter LVI.
Last Time
"Everyone who was in Dressrosa or a part of the crews went up by at least 50 million!" Bartolomeo said after explaining Law's is 500 million as well. "Ours went up by 50 million as well. But… Take a look at that. For 'Black-Foot' Sanji-Senpai, (Senior,) the price has gone up strangely high and the text is odd."
"'Only alive'?" Frankie asked as Usopp walked up to the posters.
"Since it's Sanji, I bet someone holds a grudge against him over a woman and wants to do the honors themselves." He said getting the others to chuckle at that.
Marine Headquarters.
Kizaru was cutting his nails at his desk as a man was reporting to him.
"The A.O. Pirates, formerly of the Whitebeard Pirates, have just been wiped out."
"Is it that guy again?" Kizaru asked lazily.
"Hai, (Yes,) it's the Shichibukai (Warlord) Edward Weevil."
"How many captains who used to work under Whitebeard… Have been brought down?"
"16 captains, sir." The man replied to the Admiral.
Kizaru looked down at the reports on the Whitebeard Pirates.
"Like the other cases, it seems like they were blown up along with the town after some kind of argument. The casualties are about 600. He always causes a lot of collateral damage. Even though he's the Shichibukai (Warlord) we can't just overlook it."
"What should we do?" Kizaru asked looking up.
"He says he's Whitebeard Edward Newgate's biological son and that makes him special but many people aren't buying it..."
"Hmm. Well, it doesn't matter to us if it's true or not. Whoever his father is, he has one sure value. As a pirate, he's overwhelmingly strong. Pretty much like Whitebeard when he was young. That's the only thing they have in common."
Now.
One Week Later.
Robin looked out at the thick fog remembering Naruto going to an island to test out the fruit he won in Dressrosa. (1.)
Soon, others came up and spotted a huge shadow moving. The Vivre card seems to point toward that mountain so they advance toward it. To everyone's surprise, it is no mountain but a sky-scraping massive elephant that is more commonly known as Zou, who houses the Minks.
And that they've banned humans from entering for the last 1,000 years. The Straw Hats and the Barto Club stare in awe at the giant elephant that Zou is located on as they draw closer to it. Suddenly, Luffy sees the Thousand Sunny docked at one of the elephant's back legs, and the Barto Club is excited to see it. Franky sees that the ship has no major damage, so their crewmates must have escaped from the Big Mom Pirates.
Luffy calls out to Sanji, Gina, Nami, Chopper, Brook, and Momonosuke, but gets no answer, and he leaps over onto the empty Sunny. Suddenly, the elephant begins moving and drags Sunny along with it, forcing the Going Luffy-senpai to keep up with it as Bartolomeo makes a barrier staircase to connect the two ships. As the elephant prepares to keep moving, the Straw Hats, Law, and the samurai cross over to Sunny, and Luffy prepares to get up the elephant quickly and reunite with the rest of his crew.
The Barto Club expresses their happiness at being with the Straw Hats, despite the Straw Hats ignoring them as Kanjuro works on a large drawing. Kanjuro has the drawing come to life, and it emerges as a big, long, and pink dragon. The Straw Hats are shocked at how pathetic it looks, although Robin thinks it is cute.
Usopp thinks it will fly them up to the top, but Kanjuro reveals that it will climb up the elephant's leg instead. The Straw Hats, Law, and the samurai then climb aboard the dragon as the Barto Club tearfully departs, and they prepare to make the daunting journey up and reunite with their crewmates.
The Straw Hats, Law, and the samurai Kin'emon and Kanjuro ride Kanjuro's dragon up the hind leg of a large elephant to reach the island of Zou on its back. However, the dragon quickly grows tired and struggles to keep a hold of the elephant's leg, and it slides back down to the Thousand Sunny. The Straw Hats encourage it, with Usopp dubbing it "Ryunosuke", and it continues climbing despite its progress being lost.
As Ryunosuke continues climbing, Luffy wonders how Sanji and their other crewmates got up to Zou, and then asks Kin'emon and Kanjuro why they want to go to Zou in the first place. The samurai reveal that Zou was their original destination after leaving Wano Country, and they wanted to reunite with Momonosuke as well as see if their comrade Raizo the ninja, who was separated from them at sea, had made it here.
The male pirates are all awestruck to hear about a ninja and wonder what kind of abilities he has. Kanjuro jokes around with Kin'emon in response, and the riders suddenly see a small monkey named Bariete falling towards them. The Straw Hats and Law dodge the falling monkey, but Kin'emon and Kanjuro are distracted from playing around and are hit, causing them to fall off Ryunosuke.
The pirates call out to the samurai, who reveal that they are all right and tell them to go on ahead. The monkey then shouts at the samurai for trying to enter Zou without permission, and the Straw Hats try telling Ryunosuke to go back and get the samurai. However, after seeing how much Ryunosuke is suffering, they decide to continue to the top.
As the sun goes down, Luffy goes to sleep as Ryunosuke nears the top. Sleeping causes Luffy to lose his grip on Ryunosuke, and Usopp tries to catch him, but only grabs his backpack as Luffy falls below. As he falls, Luffy wakes up and grabs hold of Ryunosuke's horns, but this causes Ryunosuke's front legs to lose their grip, causing it to bend over backward.
The Straw Hats encourage it to grab hold of the leg again, and after a great effort, Ryunosuke manages to do so and continues climbing. As the pirates near the top, Ryunosuke gives a last push upward, and they reach Zou successfully. However, Ryunosuke turns back into a drawing, and the pirates mourn for it except for Zoro and Law, who consider it only a cheap drawing and want to focus on the island they are on.
The pirates walk toward a gateway to a place called the Mokomo Dukedom, and Luffy pulls himself to the top of it, allowing him to survey the entire dukedom. Usopp joins Luffy as the others walk through the gateway, whose gates are destroyed. Luffy leaps off the gate and goes exploring by himself, while the other pirates survey the seemingly abandoned dukedom, noting that the ground is hard to walk on and that there is heavy damage all around them, including faint traces of gunpowder and gas.
As they walked, Robin dropped Naruto's Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) kunai having him appear in jeans and a black shirt with Kurama in what he wore back in Dressrosa. "Everything OK?" Naruto asked her.
"Yes," She nodded at him as they looked around.
"What the hell kind of ground is this?" Kurama asked looking at the grey ground he was standing on.
"We're on a massive elephant."
"What?/What?" The two asked looking at the archaeologist.
"You're right. This trail looks strange too."
The two looked at Zoro and Law and saw there was still dirt and grass clumps around them destroyed. "It's too wide to call it an animal trail in a forest."
"Hey, this is some pretty serious destruction!" Franky spoke walking up. "And it's still fresh. Are Sanji and the others gonna be okay?!"
"What a mess! I couldn't see it from up there but what's going on here?!" Usopp exclaimed as they looked around.
"Let's proceed with caution!" Zoro said pulling Wado up.
"What?! We don't know the residents here and we have other enemies?! Whoa-whoa, hey!:
Zoro and Law walked off with the others following. And missed another large elephant print on the skin
"It's hard to walk," Kurama said hands in his pockets.
"Yeah, it's elephant's skin."
"Dammit! Bring it on if you want! But actually, don't!" Usopp exclaimed looking around and holding his slingshot.
"There are flowers in such strange spots." Robin mused looking at the plantation.
"Trees probably get uprooted from time to time if they can't get roots down far," Naruto said missing a shadow move in the forest.
"How interesting! It's kind of soft so it's hard to run!" Luffy laughed as they got to a town of destroyed buildings. "It's a town! No one's here! What's wrong with this country?! They're all run down! Hey! Sanji! Nami! Chopper! Brook! Momo! Gina! Where are you?! Oh, and the gas guy. Well, forget about him. Hey! Somebody, respond!"
"What happened here?" Franky asked as they saw the destruction. I smell the faint odor of gunpowder... and gas, do you?"
"What's this all about? Can't we just lie back in a peaceful country sometimes?! I'm scared! Scared!" Usopp exclaimed from the back. Nd stopped as Zoro, Naruto, and Law reached for their weapons "What?! What is it?! Do you see something?!"
A tense moment went by as the wind blew before Zoro spoke. "I got this."
Suddenly a blur dashed forward and flipped over Zoro's swipe by jumping in midair. "What the hell?" Naruto asked seeing the woman.
She is a white-furred, blonde-haired anthropomorphic rabbit with brown eyes, rabbit ears, a rabbit-like nose, and a large round fluffy tail, but with a body otherwise similar to that of a human woman. She seems to be shorter than Nami. She's wearing a short orange dress with laced-up open sides with a green cape, the single rabbit paw-like gauntlet, and brown, high-heeled boots.
Carrot A Rabbit Mink Of The Musketeers.
'Did she just… Jump in midair?!' Zoro thought before blocking a swipe from her glove. 'What the...?!'
"Wait! Stop, Carrot!"
Suddenly, a large gator came out of the forest with another woman riding it. She's an anthropomorphic dog with tan fur and orange hair. She has a curvaceous and well-endowed figure with dog ears, a dog-like snout, and a large bushy tail. She's wearing Nami's long blue jeans, black high-heeled boots, and a green-white striped bikini top with a blue cape and another blue cloth tied around her jeans.

"Forget about them-teia! More importantly, we have an invader in the Whale Forest!"
"Talking animals?!"
"They're the Mink Tribe!" Law said as Naruto looked over before remembering talking to Bepo several years ago about him being a Mink and not someone who ate a fruit.
"Oh?! I-Isn't that outfit… Nami's?!" Usopp yelled as they looked at Wanda.
"What the hell is that weapon?" Zoro asked as sparks came off of Carrot's gloves. "I felt a shock for a moment!"
"We have an invader in the Whale Forest?!" Carrot asked looking up.
"Yes, we're in trouble! The Guardians will be mad!"
"An animal?! A human?!" Franky asked looking at the female dog.
"H-Hey, you! Where did you get that outfit?! What did you do to Nami?!" Usopp asked before Robin spoke.
"Are they a cannibal tribe?"
"Don't say such a scary thing!" Usopp bit back at her.
Suddenly, Carrot jumped high into the air having everyone look up. Naruto blinked as he caught a glimpse of her pink panties.
"Wow, that's high." He said as she looked around.
"How is it?! Do you see something, Carrot?!" Wanda yelled up as Carrot looked at the Whale Tree.
"I do! Maybe it's a little too late! On the other side of Kurau City, there's a disturbance in the Whale Forest!"
"I thought so! Let's go, Warney! Get on, Carrot!"
"OK!"
Carrot fell as Wanda looked at the group. "We don't have time to transport you-teia guys! Do as I say! Go through the Rightrump Forest to your right and turn left at a deep dark swamp! And you'll reach the Rightflank Forest! You'll find the corpse of your-teia friends there!"
"C-Corpse?!"
"Wait at the Rightflank Forest! We'll be there later!"
"Y-You've got to be kidding! Please tell me you're kidding!" Usopp said as he fell to his knees as Wanda left with Carrot who fell on Warney.
"Do you think they-teia are gonna be okay?
"Those were the Straw Hats."
"What?"
"They-teia are gonna be shocked," Wanda said as she looked ahead. "It's a shame but there's nothing we can do. What's done is done. The one who just invaded the Whale Forest is probably a pirate, Straw Hat Luffy. He's their- teia captain but I'm sure the Guardians will show no mercy!"
"They were killed!" Usopp wailed as Naruto and Kurama sighed.
"I doubt it," Kurama spoke. "Your pervert of a cook was here, either they use corpse for a different meaning or they're trying to scare us away.
"This must be a trick to make us upset and submissive!"
"How can I calm down?! I mean, didn't you hear what she said?!" Usopp spoke up at Naruto. "She said "corpse," OK?! They must've killed Nami and the others and ripped off their clothes!"
"If that was the case then she or Gina would have thrown my kunai and called me." Naruto sighed pinching his nose. "I didn't feel anything even when training with that fruit the past week.
"But now I remember. I forgot that I had a Vivre Card. It belongs to our navigator, Bepo." Law said pulling his card out.
"Oh yeah, you had a talking polar bear in your crew! Is he a Mink too?!"
"Yeah." Law nodded at Usopp's question. "This is where he came from. But he didn't remember much about this island. Because he left the island when he was little. I've known him for a decade. We can trust him. If you wanna get reliable information, let's head straight."
"Oh, I looked around from up there before! If we go straight, there'll be a town! We don't know who is there! Are we gonna be OK?!"
"It's better than going along with the unknown animal. Let's follow him." Zoro sighed walking past the sniper.
Up Ahead With Luffy.
By the Whale Tree, Luffy's fighting a Bull man.
He is a large, orange-skinned bull mink with two large horns, a small nose, and long, messy, light orange, bison-like hair flowing down his back. He's wearing dark clothing with a light-colored cape draped above his shoulders.
Roddy.
Luffy attacked with a headbutt as Roddy followed with electricity coming off him.
"Why isn't Electro having any effect?! What's wrong with you- gara?! How can you be unhurt after getting that attack?!"
Luffy glanced to see another male mink. He is a large, gray-skinned gorilla mink with large canine teeth, small eyes, a mustache, and a black afro. He is very thick and has a suit with a dark-colored cravat.
Black-Back.
"That didn't work because I'm made of rubber," Luffy replied as he
"Rubber?"
Luffy attacked Roddy again having them headbutt each other again. "Yeah, that's Straw Hat! That's it! Stop right there! I know him!"
Black-Back turned to see Bepo with bandages and Law's crew running up. "Even if you know him, he's an invader!"
"That's enough, Guardians!"
"A fluttering object!"
Wanda and Carrot came up throwing a red cape and bananas having the two attack/grab them.
"Yeah! I got a banana! Yum! Yum, yum, yum!"
"So this is how you handle them," Penguin said as they looked over at Wanda who walked up to Luffy.
"A dog?"
"You-teia are Straw Hat Luffy, aren't you? I'm Wanda. She's Carrot."
"And a rabbit."
"We won't do anything to you so stop resisting," Wanda said resting a sword on her shoulder.
"There are a bunch of strange creatures in this country. It's like having a ton of Choppers. Do you know me?" Luffy asked as Wanda nodded.
"Of course."
"What's with them?! I didn't even do anything but they attacked me!" Luffy exclaimed pointing at the others.
"That's because you-teia invaded the forest where you mustn't enter," Wanda explained walking to Luffy and licked his nose.
"Oh! Wh-What are you doing?!"
"The Guardians eject invaders from this forest. That's their job."
"So I wasn't allowed to enter?" Luffy asked blinking.
"No, you weren't. Guardians! We'll take him out of here! Please forgive him!" She yelled as she turned to look up at a shadow in the tree.
"For Wanda's sake... Let's retreat, Roddy!" A male voice came up before speaking again. "BB!"
"Pedro!"
"Everyone, retreat!"
"What?!" Luffy exclaimed seeing countless shadows run past. "Was I surrounded? I didn't sense them at all."
"Just be thankful this wasn't a moonlit night."
"Straw Hat! It's been a while!" Bepo yelled running up as Luffy looked confused. Hey, Straw Hat, don't you remember us? We took care of you after the Paramount War! I'm shocked!"
"Oh! You're the talking bear from Tra-guy's crew!"
"Tra-guy?! No, we work under Trafalgar Law! The Heart Pirates!"
"That's what I said." Luffy nodded with a smile.
"No, you didn't!"
"Well, we've been reading newspapers! There was a whole bunch of surprising news! We're allied, aren't we?"
"Is our captain here too?"
"Yeah, Tra-guy's here!" Luffy nodded at the group.
"You got it wrong again! Who is that?!"
"Tra-guy is Law."
"Oh yeah? I didn't know that. So our captain, he's here!"
"Yeah! Captain, I can't wait to see you!"
Kurau City, Center Of The Elephant's Back.
"I guess there's no doubt that it was attacked."
Robin said as they walked into the destroyed city. "This city could have as many as several hundred thousand residents but not a single person is here."
"It's dangerous! This country's dangerous! Let's get out! As soon as we find Sanji and the others! It's dangerous! This place is really dangerous!" Usopp yelled as Naruto's clones checked the houses and saw food being cooked.
"There are signs that people were just here until recently."
"It must've just happened." Robin mused as they walked. "This destruction happened not so long ago, either."
"We shouldn't be out in the open like this!" Usopp cried holding his hair in his hands.
Kurama then noticed posts with shackles on them before growling as his eyes glowed. "Looks like torture."
"We can't even tell whether the enemies are humans or not." Franky mused as Naruto looked around.
"I'm guessing the Minks got attacked, again possibly before the other got here as no one called me."
"Hey, come see this."
Naruto walked to Law and saw a large elephant footprint. "That looks like an elephant."
"This country was suddenly ruined only one or two weeks ago."
They turned to see Robin walking over.
"Th-Then Sanji and everyone else… Were involved in it?!" Usopp asked as Naruto looked around.
"Maybe not… They would have had a longer time coming up than you did."
Luffy.
"That's why no one's there."
Luffy asked Wanda who had her back to him. "This centuries-old country's name is Mokomo Dukedom. When I trace my memories back to just a half-month ago, I can see everyone's happy face. This country was ruined by… Jack!"
"Jack…" Luffy trailed off before the elephant started shaking. "What's going on?!"
"There'll be a Rain-Ruption!"
"Climb a tree!"
"A Rain-Ruption?!" Luffy asked before Warney stopped by him
"Get on Warney! I'll take you to the Rightflank! Your friends are there!"
"Great! So Sanji and the others are there!" Luffy grinned before seeing Wanda's face. "What's wrong?! They're all there, aren't they?!"
As Zou begins shaking due to the upcoming Eruption Rain, the Heart Pirates climb on trees while Luffy joins Wanda and Carrot atop Warney's back. At Kurau City, the concerned Straw Hats wonder why Zou is shaking. Warney starts to run as the elephant carrying Zou on its back, Zunesha, lifts its trunk and spews out a large volume of water onto Zou.
The Straw Hats run away, but realize that it is too late to avoid it. Meanwhile, Warney, Wanda, and Carrot are submerged in the raging flood, and eventually emerge from it; they then realize that Luffy has fallen off. They see Luffy flailing in the torrent, and Carrot leaps through tree branches to rescue him.
Carrot barely misses Luffy's hand as he sinks underwater and is approached by a shark. Right as Luffy is by the shark's mouth, however, Carrot grabs him and brings him back onto Warney.
Meanwhile, Kin'emon, Kanjuro, and Bariete climb back up to Zou on a cat Kanjuro drew, which they call Nekozaemon. Suddenly, the water from the Eruption Rain comes flowing down, which Bariete explains the source of. Kanjuro reveals that the water will cause Nekozaemon to melt as they are hit by the cascade.
Meanwhile, Warney swims through the flood, and Wanda explains to Luffy that Zunesha washed itself twice a day by spraying water on its back. The minks took advantage of this by building aqueduct systems to get drinking water, as well as catching fish to eat.
Bepo then arrives by swinging through the trees and tells Luffy to tell Law where he and the Heart Pirates are since he cannot leave the forest. Carrot tells Luffy that although Bepo is a native of this island, he is still a pirate, and so remains under the care of Master Nekomamushi.
The Others.
"Naruto!"
Robin yelled as Naruto fell into the water. Suddenly, he swam up shocking the others. "What?"
"D-Didn't you say you ate that fruit already?"
"Yeah." Naruto nodded as he got back up on top of the roof with the others.
"Then how can you swim?"
"I guess mine and Kurama's chakra block out the effect… I mean the Kairōseki (Sea-Prism Stones) still affect me a little as I had to tape up the handles on my staff as I coated it with them."
"Hey, there's Luffy! At the edge of the town! He's with the Nami-dog girl and the jump rabbit from before! He's getting fooled and being taken to their lair-!"
"What is it, Usopp?!" Zoro asked as Usopp stopped.
"Luffy's been eaten a little!"
"What?! So they're really…"
"A cannibal tribe!" Robin mused after Franky at that.
Up ahead as Luffy and the others swam in the city, he looked back as Carrot bit him on the ear. "I told you to stop biting me! The whole town is soaked in water."
"The water will drain away soon," Wanda spoke as they passed the taller posts.
"You told me the name of the guy who attacked this country before."
"His name is Jack." She said wiping away tears. I saw his obituary in the newspaper a few days ago. It said, that after he overran this country, he attacked four Navy ships that were transporting Doflamingo and sank two of them but they struck back."
"What?! Was he there at Dressrosa?!" Luffy blinked at that.
"He attacked the ships with the Navy admiral and the former fleet admiral on board. He must have a screw loose. It said his death wasn't confirmed. I think he's still alive. We'll never forgive Jack!" Wanda finished as they got to the forest and heard birds chirping.
"Oh, the water's gone. The ground is soft because it's the elephant's back, right?"
"That's right." Carrot nodded as Warney snorted and started running.
"We have to hurry! Let's take a shortcut! Don't get shaken off!"
"Wow! It's awesome! This alligator sure can move!" Luffy laughed as Carrot leaned forward.
"He's Warney!"
"Zou is exciting! Once I meet up with everyone, I wanna explore it more! It's foggy. Have we reached the rib?"
"It's right flank!"
"Will Zoro and the others be there too?"
"I think so. I gave them directions to our hidden fortress."
"Shanburuzu! (Shambles.)"
Law, Kurama, Naruto, Zoro, and Robin appeared as Franky and Usopp fell behind them. "Oh, it's you guys!"
"Hey, Luffy! Where were you bitten?! Do you still have your limbs?"
"It's you-teia guys." Wanda smiled as Usopp got behind Naruto and held his arm out as he spoke in a deeper voice. "Hey, you Nami-dog girl right there! He's our captain! You wanna eat him, don't you?! I won't let you do that, you predatory tramp! If you don't give us back him and our friends who came here first-!"
"Naruto's more likely to screw them." Kurama deadpanned as Naruto sighed.
"I hate you."
"What, you would too." Kurama smirked at him. "Don't act like you weren't thinking of bending both of-"
"OK!"
"See!"
Naruto flipped Kurama off at that. "I can't believe it. I think you have the wrong idea. But that's okay. We're here now." Wanda sighed at that.
"What?"
"Look over there in the fog carefully… There are guards and a gate to the fortress.
They turned to see a stone gate behind them with two male minks with bandages and blue capes.
"Wanda! Who are they-gara?"
"Are they the ones who invaded the Whale Forest?!"
"They didn't mean any harm! The Welcoming Bell didn't ring by mistake and one of them got lost in the Whale Forest! Open the gate and let everybody know! That the Straw Hats are here!" Wanda said dropping down.
"What?! Is that who they-gara are?!"
Inside, Nami wearing a sleeveless fancy purple dress covered in fancy pearls, slept beside Gina on a large sheep Mink. She still has her high-heeled sandals, and her hair is loose.
Gina's wearing a black dress and her heels.
"Luffy and the others are here! They're finally here! Luffy and the others arrived! They made it safely!"
Chopper with a crown on top of his hat yelled running up. He's wearing no shirt and has a long open coat with fur and fancy jewelry attached.
"They did?! Really, Chopper?!"
"They're at the fortress gate!"
At the gates, the crew walked in to see the Minks with large pineapples on the trees as houses with several ships covered in moss.
"Welcome, Straw Hats!"
"Garchu!"
"Welcome!"
"The atmosphere's quite upbeat!" Luffy grinned at the cheers. "Garchu! What's "Garchu"?"
"I thought the people of your race hate humans." Zoro mused as Wanda looked back at him.
"Race, huh? That's probably what those who don't know other Minks think and get scared of."
"Other Minks?"
"To us, you-teia guys are just Monkey Minks who have less hair. You're the same Mink Tribe, just a different type."
"Oh, so we humans are Monkey Minks." Zoro smiled at her.
"That's right. We judge someone by their character, not by their race." She smiled as she walked up to Naruto. "We take pride in the hair covering our bodies but you-teia guys have those beautiful…" She trailed off licking Naruto's cheek. "'lesser mink coats' and quite a lot of us admire it."
"'Lesser mink'?" Naruto blinked at that.
"That's what we call Minks with fewer hairs."
Suddenly, Naruto was tackled by Gina and Nami forcing him on his back. "I'm so happy to see you again!"
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Chopper!" Usopp said as Luffy grinned at them.
"So Sanji, Brook, and Momo are all fine too!"
"I'm sorry! Sanji-kun is…" Nami trailed off crying into Naruto's shoulder.
Over with Kin'emon, Kanjuro, and Bariete, they sit on a deformed Nekozaemon after being deluged by Zou's Eruption Rain; they then notice in shock that they have fallen back to the Thousand Sunny. They are intent on continuing, but realize that Nekozaemon is severely deformed and dripping ink, which frightens them.
They push Nekozaemon upward, but the severely weakened cat quickly slides back down after taking a few steps, nearly falling into the ocean. Realizing Nekozaemon is unable to continue, and seeing that the sun has nearly set, the samurai decide to return to the Sunny and resume their climb the next morning.
Meanwhile, the Straw Hats feast with the minks inside the Right Belly Fortress. The minks show affection to all the pirates by rubbing themselves against them, and Zoro is the only one annoyed by this. Carrot reveals to Naruto who she was sitting beside that the minks only eat hairless animals. She also reveals that they're grateful to the crew for saving them.
Right then, Brook runs into the fortress, wearing very tattered clothes. Brook greets his crewmates and apologizes to Luffy about Sanji. Usopp asks about Momonosuke, and Brook's expression changes as he reveals that Momonosuke does not seem to like the minks and is hiding in his room.
He tells them to avoid mentioning the words "samurai" and "Wano Country", because doing so could offend and anger many of the people here. However, as Brook reveals the reason behind it, a group of canine minks enters the fortress and drool as they stare in obsession at Brook, calling him "Baron Corpse".
The Straw Hats then realize that Wanda was referring to Brook when she told them about finding the corpse of their crewmate, and Wanda reveals that it was their nickname for him since canine minks like them loved chewing on bones. As the canine minks bite and gnaw on Brook, Chopper asks Luffy where Law is, and Luffy reveals that he went to reunite with his crewmates in the Whale Forest.
Nami then asks what they are going to do about Sanji, but Luffy and Zoro are not particularly concerned about him since he left a note and did not seem to be kidnapped. However, Nami and Chopper are still worried about him because his departure did not seem right. Franky then interrupts, telling Nami and Chopper that he and the others have no idea what has happened since the Sunny crew left Dressrosa 11 days ago.
The others concur, and Nami agrees to tell them what happened, starting with them being chased by the Big Mom Pirates who wanted Caesar. They attacked when getting permission from Luffy before being able to escape as Nami created a large rainstorm.
"We arrived here the next day. Seems like Zou was nearby at that time."
"That was 10 days ago." Chopper picked up as Robin looked over.
"As far as I could see, the oldest sign of destruction in the city at the center of Zou was… From a little more than two weeks ago."
"That's right." Wanda nodded at that. "Most of the country had been destroyed. But on that day, Nami and the others arrived here. That can only be described as a miracle! If not for their courage and Chopper's medical expertise, every single person in the Mokomo Dukedom would've been helplessly killed..."
"I know it's just happened and it still hurts so if you don't wanna talk about it, that's fine," Franky said as he saw Wanda's look.
"No, I'll tell you everything. You-teia people have the right to know everything."
"Hey!"
They turned to see a sloth Mink upside down at the door as Wanda ran up. "Everybody! D-Duke- sama has..."
"What happened?!" Wanda asked stopping at the door.
"Duke-sama has woken up!"
"That's great!"
"Duke-sama... He's all right now..."
"Wanda!" Nami hugged Wanda at that. "I'm happy for you, Wanda!"
"Okay! Let's go examine his condition now!" Chopper yelled picking up his bag. "Miyagi! Tristan!
"Oh, wait for me!"
Miyagi is a male goat mink with a thickset body covered in light-colored hair. He has two pointed horns on the top of his head and a long beard and has a white doctor's jacket on, black pants, and black boots.
"Okay, okay! Let me go at it and learn from you!"
"Dr. Miyagi! You're hopping too much!"
Tristan is a light blue-haired squirrel mink with tan fur, a dark patch on her forehead down to her nose, and a large bushy brown tail with two dark stripes down the center. Her uniform is a light-pink mini-dress and a light-pink cap with a cross on it.
"Wanda! Duke said he'd like to see the saviors!"
"OK, I'll be right up! You-teia guys, will you come with me?!" Wanda asked the crew who all nodded.
"Yeah but who's Dogstorm?"
"He's the duke of the Mokomo Dukedom. Which means he's the ruler of the country! He'd been in a coma ever since the city was wiped out. So has the other one."
"The other one?!" Franky asked her.
"Yes! This country has two rulers! "King of the Day" - Duke Dogstorm! "King of the Night" - Master Cat Viper! The country of Zou has been protected by those two rulers!"
Wanda takes the Straw Hats to see Duke Inuarashi through a passage in the Rightflank Fortress. Going through this passage is the shortest way to get to Duke-sama 's sanatorium."
Robin looked up at the fruit lighting on the ceiling. "That's curious. Do those fruits emit light?"
"That's right. They light up the darkness of the night."
"Oh, that's interesting!" Usopp mused as Naruto looked out at the windows they passed.
"There are other things in the fortress that…" Wanda turned and trailed off seeing Luffy was gone.
"What's wrong?" Gina asked as they stopped.
"One of you is missing."
"What?!"
"Where did Luffy go?!"
"There." Kurama pointed out the window revealing Luffy was outside eating grapes.
"Oh?"
"What are you doing, Luffy?!"
"Look at these grapes! They're growing everywhere! I can drink as much as I like!" Luffy put a straw in one and started drinking. "Come join me! It's very sweet!"
"Are you gonna drink more?! I'm already full!" Usopp yelled as Luffy hung upside down then jumped back in.
"I like this place!"
"I'm so happy to hear that. Although, we don't usually use this place. The capital of the Mokomo Dukedom was… Kurau City which you-teia people saw. Vibrant and bustling. That's what it was like in Kurau City. Kurau City was peaceful and relaxed. People were leading normal lives. They were talking with their friends, loving their families, and enjoying the blessings of nature. But it happened half a month ago."
"What in the world happened?!" Usopp asked as Robbin looked over.
"By the time we got here, the city was destroyed. As if a storm had just swept through."
"It was 17 days ago to be exact. Yes, for the first time in a month and a half, since Bepo and the others arrived, the visitor's bell rang all over the Mokomo Dukedom. But that was… The seldom-heard Raiding Bell!" Wanda explained remembering the attack. "Cutting up the forest along the way, the enemy invaded our peaceful city. Feeling such unusual movement, Zunesha roared!"
"Who were they?! What did they want?!" Naruto asked from the back of the group.
"If our vicious enemies want something that we don't have, how can we give it to them?" Wanda asked and continued explaining,
"Raizo?"
"Is that what your enemies wanted and you people didn't have?" Zoro asked as she nodded.
"M-Mammoth?! Hey, Usopp! She said it was a mammoth!" Luffy exclaimed to Usopp.
"What?! Is that what you find most interesting?! She mentioned the Four Emperors!"
"So it was Kaido's subordinates who attacked this country," Robin stated as Wanda nodded and continued explaining the attack.
"They didn't listen to us at all and the fight began. The peaceful Kurau City was… Instantly turned into a battlefield!"
"So that's why everybody moved to the Rightflank Fortress here," Kurama said pointing outside.
"That's right. Those who could walk helped those who couldn't and carried them here."
"Hey. So in the end, you don't know why that Jack guy was looking for the samurai, do you?"
"No. We also don't know how they-teia got to this island or what made them think that the samurai was here."
"I bet the mammoth was so big!"
"Don't get excited! Now isn't the time for that!" Usopp shushed Luffy as they got to a suspension bridge and Luffy started bouncing them.
"Oh, that was fun!"
"No, it wasn't!"
"Let's keep going. We'll get to Duke-sama 's sanatorium soon." Wanda said as they continued walking.
"So you protected Raizo?" Naruto asked getting those that came early to look back at him in shock. "I can tell when people are lying, and you just lied when saying you know nothing of Raizo."
"That's true," Wanda replied shocking them. "But only a few know where he's hiding."
Smack!
"OW!"
Naruto rubbed the back of his head as Nami smacked him. "What the hell was that for?!"
"For bringing him up!"
"She's his friend!"
"Are we almost there at his house?" Usopp asked over the arguing couple.
"Yes, I see Duke-sama's sanatorium already. Thank you for coming with me. I'll tell you the rest of the story later."
They got to the house just as a mink was sent flying. "We're sorry, Shishilian-sama!
"Please forgive us!"
"Shishilian-sama is raging out of control!"
"What's going on?" Franky asked as they ran up to a mink
"Shishilian- dono! What's the matter?!"
Shishilian is a lion mink with a curly red[5] mane that falls to his chest, a long and curly tail, and a swirly black handlebar mustache. He wears a purple cape and a large black hat with a feathery pink plume over an olive-colored dress shirt bound with a bandolier, black pants held up by a thick red belt, brown boots with puffy furred pink rims, and purple gloves.

"Oh, Wanda! They-gara kept saying sweet things so… I just pushed them off the cliff! Generosity! Love! Romance! Babies! Sugar! Honey! Don't ever talk about sweet stuff in my presence! Or I'll bite out your windpipe! Now, climb up here without help!"
"He's so strict but very cool!"
"Alright, stand up. He's doing this to us because he loves us."
"I know. This is his way of trying to train cowards like us." The minks said amongst themselves
"He's so generous!"
"What did you just say?! How could you talk about such sappy stuff like love or generosity… So soon after I told you not to!?" He threw part of the fruit at them.
"But still, he's cool… We're sorry! We'll never say anything sweet again!"
"Alright then!"
"Shishilian-dono," Wanda spoke up getting his attention.
"What?!"
"They-teia are the Straw Hats."
He blinked before jumping high and then landing in a bow. "Thank you for saving my country! I'll be indebted to you forever!"
"Shishilian-dono puts all his power into everything," Wanda explained to them
"What an annoying lion."
"Who is your-gara captain?!"
"I am," Luffy answered as Shishilian hugged him very hard.
"Oh! So you- gara are Nami and the others' captain! Great! I couldn't wait to see you! Garchu! I thank you, really, from the bottom of my heart!"
"Ow, ow, ow, ow! It's hot!"
"The duke is expecting you! You can go in! Hurry up!"
They walked in to see Chopper and the doctor and nurse before seeing a very tall, grizzle-looking dog mink.
He's wearing a small pair of blue sunglasses and has shoulder-length black ears, a white beard, and a large and bushy tail with a king-like robe, and his head and torso are covered in bandages.
Duke Dogstorm. The King Of The Day, The Mokomo Dukedom.
"Luffy and everybody!"
"Duke-sama! I'm glad that you're okay!" Wanda hugged him as Naruto noticed he was missing a left leg.
"Oh.." Naruto walked up and placed his right hand on Duke. They blinked before he got up as the bandages fell off. "I'll create clones for the others. I can't regrow limbs."
"So you-gara people are the Straw Hats?" He asked flexing his hand.
"Yeah."
"You saved us in every way. Thank you very much."
"I heard my crew saved your people but I haven't gotten to hear the whole story yet," Luffy said as Duke looked down and grabbed a crutch.
"Well, you-gara and the rest saved us too, Straw Hat Luffy-Kun."
"Anyway, I bet you're strong! I mean, strong!"
"What?! That's rude! Duke- sama is the mightiest warrior in the country!" Wanda turned to address Luffy.
"Hey, stop. That's not what you call a loser."
"You're not a loser! The enemies were surely troublesome but we had the upper hand!" Wanda said before they saw him drool seeing Brook.
"He's drooling!"
"I know how you feel! He-teia saved us too!" Wanda said drooling as well. "What a delicious-looking savior. You're not fully recovered yet so… not now."
"Not now or ever!" Brook yelled as Franky looked over.
"Oh, come on! A little won't hurt!"
"'A little' could kill me! You don't know how much I got sucked on and chewed on the past few days!"
"Well, let's not talk about the loss. You-gara, that straw hat looks quite good on you. I was once… Oh, I can't remember who it was!" Duke said sitting down. "That cat..."
"Master Cat Viper," Wanda said before Duke looked back at Luffy.
"I was once traveling across the seas with that one. Shanks who is one of the Four Emperors now was wearing that kind of hat then."
"What?! Old man, do you know Shanks?! How?! I got this hat from him and-" Luffy stopped as Duke fell asleep. "He fell asleep!"
"It's already six o'clock." Wanda smiled as Usopp looked over.
"It's only six! He's not a kid!"
"Hey, wake up! Tell me how you know Shanks! Hey! Hey!" Luffy jumped on Duke at that.
"Stop it, Luffy! He's still injured!"
"As I mentioned earlier, the Mokomo Dukedom is governed by two rulers all the time. Duke Dogstorm is the official ruler but… Master Cat Viper who guards the old sacred Whale Forest possesses the same right." Wanda explained as clones of Naruto ran around outside.
"What does it have to do with him falling asleep?!"
"They don't like each other. When they come face to face, they might try to kill one another."
"kill one another?! Why?!" Kurama asked raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know why. I heard they used to be best friends. But they're both well-respected kings so even if they fight, it'll be an equal match. They had too many fights and they don't even wanna face each other now. So one of them, from six in the morning to six in the evening with the sun and another from six in the evening to six in the morning with the moon. That's how they split their living hours." Wanda explained as Franky crossed his arms as the other minks fell asleep.
"They hate each other that much?"
"I didn't realize the doctors were sleeping too!"
"All of the people in this fortress should be sleeping now," Wanda said before Shishilian's head dropped.
"I'm getting tired. Grr… The day-and-night shifts are affecting us too. The people of the city are active during the day. And the people of the forest… are nocturnal… At full power…" He then fell asleep at that as the others blinked.
"We've always lived with the custom of having two rulers. Even during the recent battle. The fight between Jack's group and us in Kurau City was intensifying." Wanda continued seemingly unaffected explaining Duke fighting Jack.
"Duke Dogstorm, he's awesome!"
"He's strong like I thought!" Luffy spoke after Usopp before Naruto sighed
"But the enemy gave even the mightiest warrior in this country and the Three Musketeers a hard time..."
"Jack the Drought! Sounds super bad." Franky said as Wanda looked at Duke before Brook spoke.
"He didn't listen to what others had to say at all. What a pain."
"He's got a billion-berry bounty. That's twice Luffy's, you know!" Usopp yelled as Naruto walked up.
"And still less than mine."
"And how did the battle go?" Zoro asked having her continue how Duke did hold his own.
She explained that Jack overpowered the Duke and threw him into a building, although Inuarashi escaped before Jack could slam into him. Three Gifters, known as the Gifters Grip Trio, slaughtered some Musketeers before confronting the Three Inuarashi Musketeers. Shishilian stated that the Three Musketeers would win a 3-on-3 battle, although he quickly dispatched the Gifters Grip Trio by himself immediately afterward.
As the battle continued, Zunesha lifted its trunk as an Eruption Rain began; the sudden deluge of water swept away the Beasts Pirates, although Jack stood strong and could not be moved. The minks rode crocodile-boar steeds as they overwhelmed the disoriented pirates, although several of them recovered, attempting to fight back and hijack the steeds.
Though the minks had the upper hand during the flood, the pirates easily recovered once the water drained and the battle continued until it reached 6 PM. Then Cat Viper's group came to attack with Law's crew helping.
As both sides attacked, suddenly they were hit by gas, ending the fight with Chopper explaining it was one of Caesar's gas experiments. Robin deduces that these weapons made their way from Caesar to Doflamingo, who trafficked it to Kaido, Jack's captain, and Luffy gets angry at Caesar. 12 days ago, the gas spread into Kurau City, immediately causing Wanda, Inuarashi, and all the other Musketeers to fall to the ground.
Except for the ones who retreated to the back of the Rightflank Fortress, most of the minks were subdued and slaughtered, as the Beasts Pirates took pleasure in repeating their question about the samurai that the minks had repeatedly claimed to not know before killing them. In the present, Wanda grows emotional as she recounts the atrocity, as Naruto wrapped an arm around her shoulder before she continued.
She continued revealing that the Guardians were also subdued and attacked. However, the pirates were still getting no answer, so they crucified and tortured the strongest mink warriors, including Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. They continued interrogating the minks about the samurai, and the determined Inuarashi and Nekomamushi continued denying any knowledge of one, causing a wrathful Jack to attack both of them.
The torture lasted for a full day before Jack departed from Zou, leaving behind some of his men. In the present, Inuarashi reveals that the Straw Hats had caused this, and the pirates are surprised that he is awake. Inuarashi says that he read Jack's obituary and realized that he had tried to rescue Doflamingo, whom the Straw Hats on Dressrosa had brought down.
Thus, the Straw Hats had spared them from further attack, and Wanda is even more grateful toward them. Chopper then reveals that he, Sanji, Nami, Brook, Momonosuke, and Caesar arrived on Zou the day after Jack left. They were all bewildered that Zou was located on an elephant, and Caesar tried convincing them not to enter, but they forced him to carry them up there like a hot air balloon.
They went through the destroyed gate, and surveyed the heavily damaged Mokomo Dukedom, with the possibility of invaders putting them on edge. Sanji left Nami, Brook, and Momonosuke at the gate as he took Chopper and Caesar on ahead, and Chopper had to hit Caesar to get him moving. As Sanji, Chopper, and Caesar surveyed the land ahead, Brook, Nami, and Momonosuke pondered about what happened to the country.
Suddenly, they heard Tristan cry out for help as she emerged from the forest being chased by Sheepshead and Gin-rummy on a crocodile-boar steed. Nami deduced that she was a victim and Sheepshead was a villain, so she pulled Tristan toward safety. Sheepshead turned around as he gleefully stated his desire to torture and interrogate Tristan.
Nami left the pirates to Brook, and Sheepshead was appalled at Brook's skeletal appearance. Brook then used Soul Solid to freeze the ground around them, causing Sheepshead and Gin-rummy's steed to slip and fall. However, Tristan was frightened by Brook and Momonosuke's strange appearances and ran away, causing the Straw Hats to chase after her, and an enraged Sheepshead got up with the intent of pursuing the pirates.
Meanwhile, Sanji, Chopper, and Caesar discovered the gas-covered Kurau City and were shocked by all the subdued minks lying in the streets. As they prepared to leave to avoid succumbing to the gas, Pedro called out to them. The heavily injured mink deduced that the pirates were not on Jack's side and begged them to save Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, saying the world was waiting for them.
Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are seen unconscious at their crucifixes, with Inuarashi missing his left leg and Nekomamushi missing his left forearm.
Chopper continues telling his crew about the Curly Hat Pirates' arrival on Zou 10 days ago, saying that he, Sanji, and Caesar Clown departed from Kurau City to get away from the gas. They convened inside the nearby forest, and Caesar started giggling with glee that his gas weapon, Koro, was a success.
Chopper and Sanji were shocked and angry that Caesar created the gas used to incapacitate the minks, although Caesar denied any responsibility for the minks' plight, causing Chopper to beat him up. Caesar also mentioned that the minks likely had less than 48 hours left to live after exposure, angering Chopper and Sanji even more.
Suddenly, Zunesha lifted its trunk and sprayed water onto Zou, causing a flood that swept away Chopper and Caesar. Sanji used Sky Walk to travel over the flood, picking Chopper up and kicking Caesar onto a nearby tree branch, which he and Chopper landed on as well. Caesar was angry at Sanji, but they suddenly heard Nami crying out, and Sanji ordered Caesar to neutralize Koro while he rescued Nami and the others, convincing the scientist to do so by threatening to crush his heart.
Sanji flew over to Nami, Brook, and Momonosuke, who were being attacked by Sheepshead. Sanji defeated Sheepshead with a Diable Jambe kick, causing Gin-rummy and the other Beasts Pirates to retreat from the island and report that the samurai was not present.
Meanwhile, Chopper and Caesar returned to Kurau City, and Caesar spread a gas called Roko that removed Koro from the air, causing some of the minks to stir. Chopper called out to his crewmates, who ran from the forest to Kurau City, not knowing that Tristan was watching them. Nami, Brook, and Momonosuke were shocked to see the destruction, and they entered the city carefully, not knowing what the minks were like.
Suddenly, Wanda came rushing at them, thinking they were allied with Jack. She clashed with Nami, and Nami managed to overpower her, but the weakened Wanda was intent on avenging her people, so she pulled out a lit explosive. However, Tristan came running to them, telling Wanda that the Curly Hat Pirates had saved her, and Pedro then arrived, affirming Tristan's statement and putting out the fuse of the explosive.
Wanda grew emotional to hear that they had helpers, and Pedro showed her that the gas had been cleared away. Chopper and Caesar then arrived with medical supplies, with the former being determined to heal all the minks in the short time they had left.
The Straw Hats and the conscious minks mobilized to create an antidote, with Tristan retrieving the mink doctors and citizens hiding in the Rightflank Fortress. Chopper and Caesar started developing the antidote as the mink citizens came to Kurau City, expressing shock at seeing the incapacitated warriors.
Eventually, the antidote was finished and administered to all of the poisoned minks, and the unconscious Inuarashi and Nekomamushi were removed from their crucifixes. As night fell, Sanji brought hot soup for the minks to eat, and Brook played Binks' Sake to the crowd of cured minks.
Chopper finished his story before speaking. "Guys, will you stay here and talk?"
"Are you gonna go somewhere, Chopper?" Robin asked as he nodded.
"It's night now so I'll go examine Cat Viper, the King of the Night, and the Guardians of the Whale Forest!"
"Oh, I'll take you there with my Warney," Wanda said after liking Nami and Naruto's cheeks.
"Come to think of it, Wanda, isn't it time for you to sleep too?" Franky asked as she smiled.
"I work as a Kings-bird."
"A Kings-bird?"
"Yes, an aide to the kings and the only office that is allowed to go back and forth between them regardless of whether it's day or night."
"Wow, that's an important job!"
"I have to tell him that Duke Dogstorm is OK. He'd probably say it's unnecessary." Wanda smiled as they stood.
"Is it really okay for us to come?" Nami asked as the others voiced their wanting to meet Cat Viper as well.
"Yes, you're welcome." Wanda smiled at her. "I'm sure Master Cat Viper will be happy to see our saviors."
"Well, if you're sure it's all right..."
"Okay! Let's go see Master Cat Viper!" Luffy exclaimed smiling as well.
As Wanda, Carrot and the Straw Hat Pirates go off to see Nekomamushi, Wanda remarks on the full moon in the sky, saying she is glad it is covered by clouds. Luffy then says that Sanji and Caesar Clown were still present in Zou in her story, asking her what happened to them later. Wanda hesitates, and Brook decides to explain it himself.
He tells the Straw Hats that most of the minks were not told about this, and this may be hard for them to hear. He then reveals that Sanji is likely not coming back, which angers Luffy, who pointed to the note Sanji left, which states that he would be back. However, Nami and Brook reply that the situation is far more complicated than what the note suggests and that it may have been better to tell the story before showing the note.
Brook then tells the story, explaining how when they were being pursued by the Big Mom Pirates, the enemy pirates overheard Luffy's call to the Sunny crew revealing that their destination was Zou. Although Zou was a Phantom Island that could not be found with a Log Pose, one of their Big Mom Pirates was from the island, and so two days ago their ship docked at Zou.
Inside the Rightflank Fortress, Sanji prepared meals for the minks, who loved them, and afterward, he went out to interact with the female minks. As Chopper, Miyagi, and Tristan treated patients, Sanji nuzzled with female minks in their traditional greeting known as "minkship", but wanted nothing to do with male minks, leaving them disappointed.
Meanwhile, Wanda outfitted Nami with a dress, revealing that exchanging clothes was a big part of mink culture and that the dress was a natural treasure, causing Nami to get excited at the prospect of selling it for big money. Sanji then saw Nami in the dress, causing him to race at her in excitement, but she punched him out of the fortress.
Meanwhile, Chopper asked Brook where Momonosuke was, and Brook revealed that he was still in his room, though it was for the best that the minks not see him in his human form. Caesar Clown said that they should abandon him and leave the island as soon as possible, but Chopper got angry at the suggestion, telling him to continue working on treatments for the minks.
A mink came to collect treatments from Caesar, but the scientist mortified at his name being associated with humanitarian treatment, disguised himself. The mink told Brook that his fans were outside, which were dogs looking to chew on the skeleton, and Brook was not inclined to go out and meet them.
At the Fortress gate, the two guards braced themselves as two strangers came up to them, but realized that one of them was Pekoms. Pekoms bawled with happiness as he saw his fellow minks alive, and embraced the two guards. He asked if the Straw Hats had done the damage to the Mokomo Dukedom, but ultimately concluded that they did before the guards could correct him, causing him to go into a fit of rage.
Pekoms then entered the Rightflank Fortress, where he reunited with his family and more of his kinfolk. The minks revealed to him that Jack and the Beasts Pirates had destroyed the country while the Straw Hats had saved them, causing Pekoms to curse Jack. The Straw Hats saw Pekoms and Bege from a balcony, and Caesar grew afraid and asked for the Straw Hats' continued protection, but Sanji replied that since Luffy defeated Doflamingo, Caesar was no longer of any worth to them as a trump card.
Out of curiosity, Sanji asked why the Big Mom Pirates wanted Caesar, and the scientist replied that he had taken money to fund a commission Big Mom gave him, but he spent it on other things; Sanji replied that he deserved what was coming. Caesar offered to assist Sanji in eliminating the Big Mom Pirates, and the Curly Hats realized that they may be in trouble as well since Luffy had declared war with Big Mom on Fish-Man Island.
However, Sanji refused Caesar's advances and told Brook to come with him and the rest to stay as he made eye contact with Bege.
"So the members of the Big Mom Pirates were here in Zou too!" Usopp said as they rode through the foggy forest
"Before that, it was Kaido's Beast Pirates. They're both Yonkos (Emperors.)"
"Did Sanji get into a fight with that Peko-something?!" Luffy asked riding on the nose. "I'm sure he won, didn't he?!"
"Don't set him up for a fight with a Yonko (Emperor!)"
"No problem! I already picked a fight with her!"
"Sanji-san is truly kind," Brook spoke up tuning his guitar.
"He took the two out of the Rightflank Fortress to a distant forest."
Brook continues his story, revealing that Sanji and Brook went out with Pekoms and Bege. Sanji was willing to face the two pirates head-on but stated that if a fight was in order they would have to do it outside of Zou. However, a tearful Pekoms embraced Sanji, shocking the Straw Hats and Bege. Pekoms thanked Sanji for saving his people and revealed to him that in addition to capturing Caesar, their crew had another mission that would likely tear the Straw Hats apart.
However, out of gratitude, he was willing to purposely fail that mission as long as they got Caesar. Bege reprimanded Pekoms, but the mink silenced the newer member of the crew, saying he would take any punishment Big Mom gave him. This caused Bege to grow angry and call Pekoms a coward as he raised his hand toward the kneeling mink's back.
And finishing that suddenly, a rapid stream of bullets emerged from Bege's hand, striking Pekoms in the back. Bege then used a surprise ambush to surround Sanji and Brook and capture Nami, Chopper, and Caesar. He took them inside his body, which is a fortress due to the power of the Shiro Shiro no Mi. (Castle-Castle Fruit)
There, he extended an invitation to Sanji, the third son of the Vinsmoke Family, revealing that he was set to marry Pudding of the Charlotte Family, which was ruled by Big Mom. A shocked Sanji refused, but Bege threatened him and his crewmates, and Bege's crewmate Vito whispered something in Sanji's ear, which shocked him.
"Hey, what did he mean by his 'castle'?"
Luffy asked them.
"Weren't you listening?!" Gina explained from her spot.
Bege is a castle human who ate the Shiro Shiro no Mi. (Castle-Castle Fruit.) OK?" Zoro spoke from his pot on the tail
"So you guys got into his body?"
"Yes."
"Really?! How?!"
"By slicing through his stomach, maybe?" Robin mused as the others turned to her
"Stop it, Robin!"
"Super disgusting..."
"That's not it!"
"An entrance appeared around his chest," Brook spoke. "We were in chains so we had no choice but to obey."
Meanwhile, Naruto stared up at the sky as he listened.
