"Frankie – you okay?" Chief Rizonou looked her over. She thought they were going to the conference room, but turned into the office after the Police Chief called them in. She saw her Commander sitting on the couch with his brows up staring at her. Judging by the amount of winkles on his forehead, he was only slightly pissed. She hoped he wasn't out of cigarettes, or it could get nasty quick. Frankie sighed when she noticed there was no food in the office, not even a box of doughnuts, she was famished.

"I'm okay. How's Marty?" She looked at her Commander and she knew what he was going to say – where's your tags?; always the damn tags before anything else.

"Where's your tags?" Frankie slid her hand down the front of her wet shirt and pulled out the two dog tags hanging from the partly rusted beaded chain. Lonnie stood by the door watching her, imagining it was his hand sliding down the front of…

"Are you military? Wait, Jamison?- Lieutenant" Detective Tibbs snapped Lonnie out of his thoughts and he hoped to God he was not looking at her when he was thinking about where he wanted his hands to be.

"Yes Detective" Virgil smiled at him with that look – he saw. 'Damn'.

"Did you file the…"

"Hey girl!" Reba bounced in the Chief's office. "We gotta get you home sugar, you are a sight!" Even Virgil couldn't help but laugh at her bubbliness, she just made people feel good anywhere she was. She looked at Virgil and batted her eyes.

"I do apologize for cutting you off honey" She winked, and he laughed harder.

Frankie hugged Reba with her chin as her hands were still cuffed, and asked again about Marty, this time Chief Rizonou could tell she was getting angry, and answered her question.

"She's doing good now - a reaction; she didn't know she had an allergy to this type of mold. Doc said it's exclusive in warm areas where the temperatures don't go below -10. She just never came in contact with it anywhere else. She'll be okay." Aaron looked at Frankie again. "Can we get the cuffs off". It wasn't a question.

"Lieutenant" Chief Gillespie pointed at Frankie and Lonnie removed them quickly, trying not to focus on how soft her skin was when he brushed against it.

"If that will be all Sir-" Lonnie couldn't wait to get out of this place. He needed to sit and think, and get himself together. The Chief nodded and he left in a hurry. 'Bout time'. Frankie watched him leave without turning around. She wished he did.

"Uh Chief, some other people here from…" Parker pointed and waved his index finger at Chief Rizonou, Frankie and Reba "Them I guess…"

Bill sighed and shook his head "Thank you Parker"

"Can we go Chief? I gotta get this girl to the motel, she's gonna catch her death in these clothes" Reba popped a bubble and smiled, Bill couldn't help but smile back.

"Yes, yes by all means, please get this girl back and dry"

"Bubba!" Bill called out to the hall as Bubba walked by. "Bubba, please get these two girls back to the Heart of Sparta." He looked at Reba, then at the Chief with a pleading look on his face. Virgil was at his desk almost bursting at the seams trying not to laugh.

"Sir maybe Lieutenant Jamison can take them…"

"Why?"

"Yes, why sugar?" Reba stood all of her 5'2" frame in front of Bubba with her arms crossed blowing bubbles. "Your gonna hurt my feelings – y'all not wanting to take me back to the motel…"

"Oh no, no it's not that" Bubba cleared his throat. "It's just I got this paper work…" She ran her perfectly manicured fingers up his muscular forearm and he stared at her with his mouth open.

"You'd rather us walk back ourselves then?" Bubba began to panic a little, he had never been good with words.

"No. No but…"

"Just look at her!" Reba pointed to Frankie's wet clothes "She's cold, and shivering, and all a mess, you would have her walk to the motel? What kind of southern man are you Captain?"

"No! I…I…never said that…" Bubba put his head down and sighed in defeat as Reba stood in front of him blowing bubbles with her hands on her hips. "Yes ma'am, I'll take you there." She winked at him and walked out of the office with Frankie and a smile, cracking her gum as she went.

Bubba tipped his hat up and ran his hand down his face, blowing out a huge breath of relief that he was not the target of the tiny fireball woman any longer. He looked up to see Chief Rizonou, Gillespie and Detective Tibbs bursting out laughing at what they just saw; she ran over him like a bulldozer, and it was hilarious. Bubba shook his head and left to take Reba and Frankie back to the Heart of Sparta Motel.

"Don't be fooled" Aaron snickered "That woman's a forced to be reckoned with – believe me, they all are."

"Oh I do" Virgil nodded laughing "I absolutely believe you." The three men were still chuckling long after Bubba had gone.
