After Ron left Marcus looked between Harry and Hermione, he then looked at Emma smiling while he held Luna and Alice, both girls were off in their world.

"So are you two looking forward to the coming year? " he asks looking back to Harry and Hermione.

"I'm looking for a quiet year but with my luck, I'll most likely be pulled into some weird or dangerous situation like every year so far," Harry said while looking at the floor.

Hermione threw her arms around Harry pulling him into a hug which caused him to flinch, Marcus saw this but said nothing.

"We could do with a quiet year after the last three I'm not sure what I would do if we were pulled into another adventure, " Hermione said as she let go of Harry

Emma smiled at the teens, "You three have had more adventures than most of the other students put together. "

Sighing Hermione nodded while looking at the younger girls sitting on Marcus's lap, Luna had a dreamy look while Alice was just smiling with a rosy blush.

"Have you known each other for long, I mean I've only seen you all either in the Great Hall or the library," Hermione asked

"Marcus and l grew up in an orphanage run by squibs after we were found to be magical to hide our accidental magic, so fat we are the only ones to go to Hogwarts, the other children have gone to other schools outside the country. " Emma said while looking at Alice.

"When we were elven we got letters and decided to go to Hogwarts just to see how much it differed from normal schools, the other children let us know that most other schools are like nonmagical schools, and Hogwarts seems to be stuck in the past using quills ink pots and parchment and then there are legacy children like Harry here signed up at birth to attend, then there are the selected muggle-born or raised, I recommend correspondence muggle schooling," Marcus said while reaching up to play with Luna's hair loosely braiding it.

Hermione was nodding and smiled when he said to take correspondence courses, Harry looked confused the sad.

"We met Alice here while we were in Japan on vacation finding her to be an orphan we took her with us when we could to beaches or amusement parks after six summers the matron of the orphanage came to us after finding out were married to ask us to adopt her before they would have to bind her magic because she was in a squib only orphanage because we grew close to her we didn't have to think it over much before signing the paperwork and here we are but we had to agree that after we finish Hogwarts we would return to Japan for Alice to get schooling done in her home country, " Emma said reaching over to ruffle Alice's hair.

Alice beamed a smile and then tried to push Emma's hand away, which turned into a bit of a game.

"Luna here we found wandering the school one night after studying for O.W.Ls before Yule Hols her first year and we just took her under our wings after finding out she had been locked out of our common room, the people who did it try again every so often but we stop it," Marcus said as he got several braids and made loops that stuck out on Luna's head.

Luna nodded causing the loops to bob around, Harry and Hermione tried not to laugh but it was hard with the dreamy look and her hairdo It was so cute looking.

"And this is our last year so we are going to put the fear of god into those that pick on Luna if they don't learn to leave her alone we will sic the twins on them giving them full rein, after we won a prank war they do not prank those we point out and will prank those we tell them, also we provide the twins with plans that will be fun for all when they first got to Hogwarts they were chaos now they are working within rules even the teachers approve of, "Emma said after letting Alice win the little battle over her hair.

Hermione was shocked to hear about Luna being picked on while Harry decided he would look out for the young blonde after this year when they heard that the twins were worse than they were now they groaned thinking that it would be chaos next year.

Smiling at the dual groaning Marcus shook his head while making a few smaller loops with Luna's hair making it look like bubbles piling upon bubbles, "Also we helped the twins with money so now they won't be asking for volunteers to test their products they can afford to have a master to check if something will work and most likely they will ask professor Flitwick, "

"Alright little moon come here let the blood flow in his legs for a while, " Emma said while holding out her arms.

Luna pouted for a second before standing while holding Alice like a doll and went to sit in Emma's lap. "But he is so comfy."

Emma smiled with a twinkle, "Oh I know he is sweetie but he does need his legs awake. "

Once Luna was sitting Emma began undoing the loops in her hair then conjuring a brush and began brushing out any knots that may have formed.

Hermione watched the brush with envy as she ran her fingers through her unmanageable hair, she was drawn from her thoughts as a brush was laid on her lap by Alice, " Start at the ends and work your way to the scalp."

Taking the brush and running it through her hair she didn't feel the usual pulling but did feel a tingling across her scalp, "It has the charm to untangle hair and help keep it manageable for twelve hours"

Hermione was too focused on the brush going easily through her hair to pay attention to what Alice was telling her about the brush, Harry was smiling as he watched his friend who had a dreamy look that could rival Lunas.

They were drawn from their thoughts as the door of the compartment door was thrown open by a blond-haired teen whose nose was so far in the air it was amazing he could see where he was walking, the two boys at his back had looked like they didn't have a single thought between the two.

"So scar head slumming with mud bloods and... " Draco Malfoy began speaking but was interrupted by Marcus coughing into a fist.

"Malfoy don't make me send a letter to your mother again, last time I was forced to do that the howler while funny caused classes to be canceled so the entire student body could get over their laughing," Marcus said to a red-faced blonde who immediately stormed out of the compartment.

In his memories of the world he had watched Malfoy picking fights with younger students when he couldn't find Harry to assault, with Snape hiding around corners to pull the boy out of trouble if need be, Marcus had grown tired of seeing this so wrote to Narcissa explaining what he had seen and how it was a possible embarrassment to the Malfoy family, several days later the howler caused breakfast to be a silent affair as both Draco and Snape being told that they were being idiots and an embarrassing example to the new children to the magical world.

Harry and Hermione, were chuckling as they remembered their second year when Malfoy was quiet for nearly six months.

After closing the door Marcus smiled to the two before turning to look at Luna whose hair was now wavy and flowing over her shoulders, he nodded while giving Emma a pout, "You messed up my artwork."

Everyone laughed at his words before going on to talk about several topics for a few hours until the train was nearly half an hour from Hogsmead, Marcus, and Harry stepped out of the compartment so the girls could change into their school clothes after they were told that they could reenter where they could pull on their outer robes and ties all the time the girls fussed about boys not having to change into skirts.

Just five minutes before the train stopped Ron ran into the compartment throwing on his robes and tie while waving Hermione off as she tried to straighten out his robes and tie.

Once the train was stopped they waited for the crowds to die down before leaving the compartment, Marcus and Emma escorted Alice to Hagrid before joining Luna in a carriage, the ride was quiet.

Once the students entered the Great Hall and sat at the house tables chatting with their friends, until the firsties were brought in by Professor McGonagall, Marcus watched the line of children and smiled as he saw Alice looking around trying to take in the sights with a gleaming eye.

Once the sorting hat finished its song, Marcus watched as the young children were sorted when he heard Astoria Greengrass being sorted into Ravenclaw he looked up and eyed the girl and frowned when he saw that she was smaller than Alice, he then looked to the Slytherin table and saw that Daphne Greengrass had a look of relief before it was hidden by her normal emotionless facade.

Getting Emma's attention he nodded to the younger Greengrass, "We may want to look out for her as well I've seen a few odd looks from the house, and look at her size compared to her sister she is too small."

Emma nodded as she waved to get the attention of the first year and sat her down while introducing herself and Marcus while the excitable girl waved at her sister and her friend Tracey Davis.

As the sorting moved on Emma would answer some questions from Astoria, when Alice was called to be sorted, Marcus and Emma sat straight which was noticed by a few of the other Ravenclaws.

"Ehhh" the hat said aloud then went silent, after a few minutes the hat laughed then shouted "Ravenclaw" to which Marcus and Emma clapped loudly while Luna was bouncing in her seat with a space between herself and Marcus, Alice had a large smile on her face as she walked past the first years and took the seat between Marcus and Luna, as she sat luna pulled her into a hug.

After the sorting ended and the students were sitting the headmaster stood and gave his welcoming speech, once he sat food filled the tables with some healthy food appearing near Marcus and his group Astoria looked over the food and nodded it all looked good she filled a plate as a goblet of water, not pumpkin juice was sat in front of her, frowning but not saying anything she drank from the goblet as Emma leaned to whisper in her ear, "pumpkin juice is fine for breakfast and lunch but not dinner the sugar will keep you up all night. "

After dessert, the headmaster stood for a few announcements and Marcus and Emma ignored the outbursts from the student body, Marcus watched as everyone finally settled down so the headmaster got to the point of the tri-wizard tournament.

After the students settled down and were sent to their dorms with the fifth-year prefects leading the first years to their house common room, as Marcus Emma, and Luna started to leave the great hall, Professor Flitwick waved them over to follow him as he led them to a door across from the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room, "You will need to set a password. "

Marcus nods and steps to the door tapping on his wand against the door he says, "Wit and knowledge. "

Flitwick smiled as he heard the password, he watched as the students looked around the room finding four doors Luna opened one of the doors and was shocked but pleased as Luna ran out of the room and scooped him into a hug while squealing.

Emma and Marcus returned from the inspection of the suite to find Luna still hugging the professor, when she let him down he saw the looks from them and laughed,

"I'm not blind, and if it weren't for the headmaster stopping us from interfering with the in-house problems with his forgiveness stupidity I would have those girls in detention every Hogsmeade weekend, I've seen the way you two have kept the worst of the bullying down but with you moving to these rooms they may try after curfew to pull their stunts. "

Nodding along as the professor spoke Marcus smiled as he watched Luna bounce around the room, "Well that works too I was thinking about just telling her to come here if she gets locked out again. "

Emma catches Luna and pulls her into a hug barely keeping the younger girl in her arms, Flitwick says his goodbye and leaves the suit.

"I'll go get Alice while you take care of our hyper little moon, " Marcus said as he walked out and to the common room entrance.

After answering the riddle the door asks he walks into the common room to find a crowd of all years around a teary-eyed Alice while Astoria is standing between the girl and the crowd.

"What the hell is this, " Marcus bellows out causing the students to jump when all eyes are on him, Alice runs to him pulling a shocked Astoria along with the strength a child her size shouldn't have.

"Big brother they kept asking stuff and wouldn't let me leave to find you or Big sisters, Astoria tried to help but nobody would listen when she said it was none of their business what my relationship is with you two, " Alice said in a rush while hugging his legs forcing Astoria to collide with him.

Catching the young Greengrass with one hand to keep her from falling, looking up to the crowd he glared at them in a low voice that sent chills over the room,

" You all overstep boundaries most of you know you have no right to step over if I find out that any of you pull this stunt again I will give free rein to the twins. "

At the mention of the twins and free rein every one-third year and up shivered while two fifth-year girls broke into tears and ran from the room after remembering the time the twins were allowed to prank them for a month for what they did to Luna.

"Come on Alice, Miss Greengrass let's give them some time to get over their shock," leading the girls to the suite door, waving his wand while murmuring a spell the two girls glowed for a second while two red flashes popped and faded.

"Revealing and removal of monitoring charms, the only thing that spell won't remove are charms cast by family and or healers, I will teach you two later, " he told them as they looked themselves over and nodded when he said he would teach them, after giving the password he led them to the couch.

Emma and Luna were sitting on the loveseat Luna still looked like she was ready to begin bouncing around the room again.

After they sat Marcus told Emma what happened in the common room causing Emma to frown while Luna stopped bouncing where she sat and lost her dreamy look until he got to the part where he threatened the house with the twins, they both fell to the floor laughing.

Giving the two times to get their laughing under control, he then told the younger girls that they would take them around the school so they would know where classes are held and warned them that McGonagall and Snape would be strict even on the first day.

"Now it's late so you can bunk with Alice, be warned she gets clingy in her sleep, " Emma told Astoria while Alice was tomato red.

"I'm not that bad I just like the warmth," Alice said while giving a cute pout causing everyone to laugh.

"It's getting late so you two go on and get to bed Alice has spare bedclothes you can use tonight," Emma said while standing and pulling Alice into a hug and kissing the top of her head while Marcus hugged Luna before swapping.

After getting hugged, Luna bounced over and hugged Alice, and a shocked Astoria before going into her room to get ready for bed.

When the two youngest went to change for bed Marcus and Emma sat back down, "I think we may need to have a word with Daphne, Astoria is too small I remember when Daphne was a firstie she was a fair bit bigger and filled out than Astoria was so I think she is either sick or under a curse.,"

Nodding Emma stood pulled him to his feet and led him to their room where they got ready for the night,

The next morning Marcus woke up to find himself being a pillow for Emma and a blonde-haired strangler who had his arm in such a tight grip he couldn't feel it, while Emma was having trouble sitting up with two eleven-year-olds wrapped around herself.

Astoria was awake with a red face and teary-eyed, Emma, smiled at the panicked girl, "Sleepwalked in her pulling you along huh? " she asked the girl who was nodding.

Luna was waking up but tried to burrow into his side while Alice was sitting up with blurry eyes looking around.

"Alright, girls it's almost time for breakfast go get changed, ". Marcus said while trying to sit up with a Luna limpet stuck to his numb arm.

It took a good ten minutes to get Luna to let go of his arm and into her room to change after everyone was ready they trooped down to the Great Hall showing the two girls looking at everything pointed out to remember their way back to the dorms.

Once they made it to the table and began putting together breakfast on the plates in front of them, as they ate Marcus and Emma spoke more about the school while the rest of the firsties sat close by listening to the tips about getting around.

Marcus was keeping an eye on the Slytherin table and when Daphne Greengrass and Tracey Davis were about to sit down he got their attention and waved them over.

Once they were at the table he stood and spoke, "Miss Greengrass Miss Davis please join us for the meal."

After looking at each other the two sat across from them while Astoria ran around the table and squished herself between them, while Daphne gave a small smile Tracey pulled the girl into a hug.

As they are the schedules were being passed out by the professors, Snape sneered but said nothing as he gave his two students theirs.

"We plan to give these two a tour of the school after breakfast you are welcome to join us if you wish," Emma said while pointing to Astoria and Alice.

"We would love to join you," Tracey said while Daphne was listening to her sister talking about her new friend and the sleepover she had last night.

After they finished eating the group got up from the table and toured the school showing more places and things that would help them remember their way to classes, just before lunch Emma pulled Daphene and Tracey aside.

Alice was bouncing around the hall while jabbering about how wonderful the school was while Emma spoke in a whisper with Daphne, "We don't want to pry but we noticed that Astoria is smaller than you were in your first year and wanted to know if she will need looking after Alice has taken a liking to your sister."

Daphne stiffened a bit while Tracey lay a hand on her shoulder, looking around to confirm they were alone Daphne spoke quietly, "No she is not sick or anything like that, mother was unable to carry another child, spell damage took that away from us, but my parents wanted another so father found a muggle-born and paid them to help, she was a smaller woman but agreed she also requested the memories to be sealed only to remember if something happens to our parents before I reach maturity."

Emma nods and smiles at the two, "Okay we just wanted to make sure, we will not speak about this anymore then."

Daphne and Tracey both sighed hearing that the family's secret would not go out, they were not ashamed of it but it could cause some trouble for the family.

Marcus was telling the girls some stories about the charms class while also keeping an ear to what was going on with Emma and the others.

After that, the group made its way back to the Great Hall only to run into Malfoy and his group, before Malfoy could do or say anything Marcus spoke up, " Two weeks free rein on the twins or another howler from your mother, "

Malfoy and his group just turned and left without saying a word while Tracey laughed, Daphne let a small smile escape.

Time seemed to fly by and before they knew it Halloween had crept up on them, Alice had amazed the teachers other than Snape who could only complement his snakes so Marcus and Emma tutored her and Astoria on potions.

It was now time for the Halloween feast and drawing for the champions, the entrance of the other schools had been just as it was in the movies, although they did have to keep an eye on Alice she had already tried to sneak off to try and play with the abraxen a time or two, once Hagrid has already had to bring her back to the castle, while she did enjoy riding his shoulder, he seemed shocked after finding her sitting on the head of the giant horse.

The torches in the great hall dimmed throwing the odd shadow from the goblet of fires blue flames as Dumbledore stepped up to it, " Now that the Goblet is ready to choose, please remember that once chosen there is no turning back."

Turning to the goblet everyone waited for it to choose the names, the fire turned red for an instant throwing out a long tongue of flames into the air, as it reached a peak a piece of parchment drifted down to where the headmaster stood.

"The Champion for Beauxbatons is Flur Delacour, " clapping while loud was also mostly coming from the male students, and a few of the other Beauxbatons girls were crying, as Fleur made her way to the anti-chamber behind the Headtable.

Again the flames let up throwing out another slip of parchment, " The champion for Durmstrang is Victor Krum," this time the hall was filled with cheering as well as clapping, and Krum followed Fleur through the door.

The third slip of parchment was drifting into Dumbledore's hand as the door closed behind Krum, " The Champion for Hogwarts is Marcus Phenix, " the Ravenclaws burst into cheering as Marcus stood to follow the others but his legs were held in a tight hug from Alice, her having seen the movies knew what he had to face so was partly upset at him being chosen.

As Emma was trying to pull Alice from his legs a few people were chuckling as Dumbledore was giving his closing speech.

" Now that the champions have been chosen we expect you all to support them..., " he stopped speaking as the goblet once again flared up throwing out another parchment, reaching out slowly he took the parchment from the air and read the name before looking up and around the hall, "Harry Potter, " he called out which caused at first dead silence then loud shouting and yelling about a cheating lion.

Finally getting free from Alice's grip Marcus instead of walking to the head table walks to Harry who is standing shocked, Hermione was holding his arm while Ron was scowling and looked ready to burst.

Once he got to Harry he put his hand on the boy's shoulder getting his attention, as he lay his hand he cast a wandless sonorous, " You didn't do it did you?"

The question pulled the boy out of his shock causing him to shake his head, "I didn't want anything to do with this foolish tournament."

Nodding Marcus smiled "Then swear it."

Catching onto what Marcus meant Harry drew his wand and held it across his heart."I Harry James Potter swear on my life and magic that I did not put my name into the goblet nor did I ask anyone to put my name in the goblet, I only wanted to watch this tournament and cheer on the champions, my magic judge me and pass it's judgment for all here to see So Mote It Be."

The flash that filled the room stopped all the yelling as everyone waited for it to pass some hoping to find Potter on the ground while others were not sure what they were waiting for, as the light died down Marcus pulled his hand back and smiled as Harry stood there his wand held over his head, " Expecto patronum," the glowing stag that let from his wand centered around the room before fading out.

After it faded out Marcus pulled Harry along leaving the sonorous up as they walked, " Let's see how these goofballs try and screw you over this year. "

That statement sent gasps through the room as they stepped into the anti-room Marcus left a modified listening charm under a sonorous charm just outside the door.

Fleur and Krum were sitting in chairs as Marcus Harry and the headmasters and headmistress, with the ministry followed them while shouting about cheating Dumbledore ran up to Harry and grabbing his shoulders, "Did you put your name in the goblet?"

Harry shrugged off the headmaster's hands scowling at the man, " Headmaster did you not hear me swear on my life and magic that I didn't do it or are you just trying to make these real champions angry with me? "

This question caused Dumbledore to backpedal while Snape was in the background saying that Potter was just an attention seeker just like his father.

" Emma make the claim and kick," Marcus said causing everyone to look at him like he had lost his mind when suddenly Snape grabbed his chest over his heart and then fell to the floor crying out in pain and flashing a few times, then he screamed and grabbed his head screaming as if he were in terrible pain.

Dumbledore was now at the man's side trying to figure out what was wrong when Marcus spoke again, " My wife just claimed headship of the Prince House and kicked Severus Snape out of the family stripping him of all the family magic and knowledge which he used to gain his potions mastery, he is now just above a squib in power and no knowledge of how to brew anything more than a general potion, I have watched this man destroy our nations medical and Aurora force with his mediocre teaching, and his statement against House Potter is in founded considering I know from talking to people that were here at Hogwarts with him that he caused more trouble for the staff than Potter and his friends."

Dumbledore stood with a look of anger crossing his face as he looked at Marcus, he made to walk toward him when suddenly Snape gave another cry of pain grasping his left arm that was smoking before anyone could move the man's arm was cut off at the elbow as Alister Moody stomped into the room his wand drawn.

"Alister what are you doing," Dumbledore yelled out as he stooped over Snape finding the man just passed out.

"Stopping a man who deserves to suffer from dying," Moody said as the arm burnt to ashes.

Everyone else stood silently watching until Harry started laughing causing all but Marcus to look at him with a variety of expressions.

"Finally someone did something to the dungeon bat, but you all watch as I get blamed for it cause while I do nothing anything that happens to him or his pet snakes I get the blame," Harry said while falling into a seat.

"Harry this is no laughing matter," Dumbledore said as he stood and turned to look at Harry.

" Then you should have kept him on a tighter leash and put a stop to his actions a long time ago," Harry said causing several heads to nod.

Having enough of this and not caring Marcus spoke up, "Can we get on with this we all know that Harry swore on his life and magic, and the headmaster is still going to try and put an unneeded spotlight on him so let's just get on with things so he can see about his pet squib."

Everyone agreed with him while McGonagall didn't look overly amused she did agree with Marcus.

Barty Crouch Sr. Steps forward with a pleased look as he looks at the one death eater who got away from judgment and got some kind of justice.

" The first task will be held on 24 November you are only allowed your wands, Mister Potter I am sorry to say that even after your oath there is no way for you to not compete, no professor may aid you in your task, that is all I can tell you until the first task, " Barty said as he took a step back while Ludo Bagman was behind him nodding along.

As everyone began to leave the other Headmasters jumped all over Dumbledore for his actions after witnessing the oath, although they were unhappy about Hogwarts having two champions they understood the boy was not at fault.

As they walked out of the room Marcus canceled his charm while the professors and students all looked at him.

"I've watched Harry be put in trouble by the headmaster's not helping him so I made it to where everyone would hear him being unfairly pushed this time, " he said while gesturing to the still-filled hall.

Looking around the Great Hall the only face that neither Harry nor Marcus saw was that of Ron the rest of Gryffindor was still there when they saw Harry cheer for them, Ravenclaws joined the cheering as two missiles bowled Marcus to the floor.

Harry jumped to the side as he fell, laughing a little at the pile of limbs he looked around the hall and found Hermione trying to get to him she had a scared look on her face.

Emma had just pushed her way to Marcus as he fought to get to his feet while Alice and Luna were hugging him.

After another minute or two, the girls let him up, Alice was asking questions so fast that they couldn't understand her.

"Well, that happened, this year is no different from the last three huh?" Emma asked as she pulled Marcus to his feet.

Harry could only nod, "I'm getting tired of this, I just wanted a quiet year, and now this happens,"

Hermione finally got to Harry's side, she was nodding along with Harry as a few of the people who had gathered to see if they could find out anything.

"OK, we can talk more during the week, look into Beast's that's normally the first task, or at least it was before it was canceled a hundred or so years ago," Marcus said as he pulled Alice into a side hug while Emma got Luna.

"What was that you did after they went through the door and why did you glow like that?" Hermione asks Emma.

Emma shrugs a shoulder, "I claimed headship of a house and kicked someone out of the family, the glow was magic acknowledging my claim."

"Snape," Harry said with a smile spreading over his face.

"Professor Snape, "Hermione corrected him automatically it seems.

"It's getting late so let's all get to our dorms for the night, this little one looks to be just barely staying on her feet," Marcus said putting his hand on Alice's head.

Everyone looked at Alice who was drooping against his legs, her head was bobbing a bit as she tried to stay awake.

After saying good night Marcus picked up Alice and headed for the stairs that led up to the Ravenclaw tower.

When they got to the door to the suite they found a note tapped to it, 'Party in the common room' it said causing Marcus to sigh, enter the room, and laying Alice on the couch he looked at Emma who shrugged.

"I'll go talk to them for a bit but I don't want to be there too long we have classes in the morning, " he said before leaning down and kissing Alice on the forehead.

Once he was at the Raven door and answering the riddle he was almost knocked over by the noise coming from inside.

Entering he found fourth year and up all cheering and dancing around to music blaring from the wizarding wireless which to him was odd because most if not all wizarding music would match up better with the 18th century.

It took a few minutes for someone to notice him and it spread until the music was turned down, and then the students started to crowd around him all asking questions or congratulating him for being the champion of Hogwarts and a few could be heard saying that Potter needed to the knocked down for entering.

Raising his arms to get quiet and getting it quickly he looks around, "Thank you for the support but also remember that Harry swore on his magic and life that he did not enter so if I find any of you hindering his training to survive this thing he wanted nothing to do with I'll team up with the twins,"

That statement stopped a few plans to cause Harry to fall even farther behind the older champions.

"I plan on helping him where I can, the boy is a fourth year so it is unfair to him that he was told even with the oath proving him innocent he still has to compete, you all do not have to support him but please do not cause him trouble, also it's late and we have classes in the morning so I suggest everyone getting to bed soon," he told the room before turning to leave himself turning he left the room for his own.

As he was nearing his door he was tackled from behind.
