Judy, Nick, and Finnick had finally made it out of Thrushia, and reached the neighborhood of Bunnyburrow by foot since the train incident.

Spring was now in the air; the sun was shining over the mountains, and crocuses were peeking their heads thru patches of snow.

The group had spent a few days walking down miles of paths.

"Are we gonna walk to Zootopia?" asked Judy.

"We'll take a boat in the Meadowlands," Nick told her.

"Ohh," nodded Judy. "Then, we're walking to the Meadowlands."

"No, Carrots. We're taking a bus."

"A bus," Judy sarcastically said.

"Mm-hmm."

"That's nice."

"We had better!" complained Fru Fru. "Because we've been walking for days, and my feet are starting to kill me!"

Showing sympathy for her companion, Judy knelt down and held her paw for Fru Fru to climb on.

"Aw, thank you," Fru Fru smiled at the rabbit's offer, and gladly hopped on.

Judy brought the little shrew up to her shoulder, and continued on with the foxes.

One day, they reached a bridge over a small creek, where Finnick seemed to be in a feverish excited mood over something. He was even wearing a crown made out of flowers on his head. "Gazelle, my dear! Finny's on his way!" He called out.

"Gazelle?" Fru Fru looked up.

"Who's Gazelle?" asked Judy.

"Who is Gazelle?" Finnick repeated, still lost in his daydream. "She's a tender tall morsel."

"Fin!" Nick quietly warned his partner-in-crime.

But Finnick ignored him as he continued in a smitten manner. "The cup of hot chocolate after a long walk in the snow."

"Finnick!" Nick tried to stop him. "X-nay on the Azelle-gay!"

This only made Finnick grab Nick, and force him to dance with him in an uncomfortable manner. "She's a decadent pastry filled with whipped cream and laughter." He gently pushed Nick forward to make him dip.

Judy looked at Nick, whose face was upside down to hers. "Is this a prey or predator animal, or a cream puff?"

Finnick pulled Nick back up, and shoved him aside. "She is the Emperor's ravishing gazelle lieutenant! Not to mention the most famous popstar of all Zootopia!" The little fennec fox danced around while humming to himself, and began gathering some more flowers.

Judy looked confused. "But... I thought we were going to see the Emperor, himself. Why are we going to see his lieutenant?"

"Hmmm..." Fru Fru thought. Then, she noticed Nick from the corner of her eye eavesdropping on the two, and tried to walk away. "A-ha!" She pointed out to him. "Culprit!"

This won Judy's attention. "Nick?" She said to him suspiciously, and crossed her arms.

Nick stopped in defeat. "Well..." he had no choice but to tell her the truth. "...Nobody gets near the Dowager Emperor without convincing Gazelle first."

Judy's eyes widened. She and Fru Fru exchanged a glance at each other.

"Oh, no," the rabbit immediately shook her head, and walked away from the fox. "Not me. No! No! Nobody ever told me I had to PROVE I was the Grand Duchess!"

"Look, I-" Nick began.

But Judy cut him off. "Show up? Yes. Look nice? Fine. But lie?"

"Okay, first," Nick said with a slight grin, "it's called a hustle, sweetheart." Then, he shrugged, "And second, you don't know it's a lie. What if it's true?"

Even his words didn't stop Judy from frowning at him. She turned to walk away, but the fox grabbed her paw to stop her. "Okay, so there's one more stop on the road to finding out who you are," he assured her. "I just thought this was something you had to see through to the end, no matter what."

"But, look at me, Nick. I am not exactly "Grand Duchess" material here!" Judy hissed, while stomping her right foot. "Ugh!" She stormed off towards the bridge where Finnick was.

She let Fru Fru slide off her shoulder, and onto the bridge railing.

Finnick handed Judy a red rose, and the two looked over the bridge railing into the flowing water below. "Tell me, child, what do you see?"

Judy looked down at her reflection in the creek. All she could see of herself was her face smudged, and dressed in ragged clothing. "I see a skinny little nobody," the bunny answered sadly. "With no past, and no future." She tossed the rose into the water.

Hearing her words made Fru Fru feel sympathetic. "Oh no, Judy. That's not who I see, at all," she stated, trying to make her feel better. "Well, I don't think so."

Finnick gestured for Judy to look down at him. "I see an engaging and fiery young rabbit woman..." he told her, "who on a number of occasions has shown a regal command equal to any royal in the world. And I have known my share of royalty," he smiled.

He beckoned his finger at Judy, wanting her to kneel down.

She did as she was silently told, and knelt down to the small fennec fox.

"You see, my dear," whispered Finnick. "I was a member of the Imperial Court."

Judy smiled a little. "Hmm," she sighed.

The two gazed down at their reflections in the water, once again.

At that moment, Nick's face showed up in the reflected creek next to Judy's. "So, are you ready to become the Grand Duchess Judistasia?" He asked the rabbit.

Judy just frowned at Nick again, still annoyed with him for not being honest with her, and turned away from him.

"Hmph!" Fru Fru snorted, and followed Judy down the railing.

Even Finnick gave Nick a look.

Nick just shrugged. "What?!"

Finnick ignored him, and turned to Judy. "There is nothing left for you back there, my dear," he said. "Everything is in Zootopia."

Judy fiddled with her necklace as she thought to herself. Exchanging another glance with Fru Fru, she finally decided to make her choice. "Gentlemen," she turned back to the foxes with a smile. "Start your teaching."

"I remember it well," said Finnick. He began to explain all about the long forgotten past of Judistasia.

"Learn to Do It"

(Finnick)
"You were born in a palace by the sea,"

(Judy)
"A palace by the sea?
Could it be?"

"Yes, that's right!" smiled Finnick. He gestured up to the sky, showing her one of the clouds that was shaped like horse.

(Finnick)
"You rode horseback when you were only three!"

Judy's eyes widened. "Horseback riding? Me?"

The fennec fox nodded, again.

(Finnick)
"And the horse..."

(Nick)
"He was white,"

(Finnick)
"You made faces and terrorized the cook!"

(Nick)
"Threw him in the brook!"

(Judy)
"Was I wild?"

(Nick)
"Wrote the book!"

(Finnick)
"But you'd behave when your father gave that look,"

(Nick)
"Imagine how it was!"

(Finnick)
"Your long-forgotten past!"

(Nick and Finnick)
"We've lots and lots to teach you,
And the time is going fast!"

Judy put on a confidante face. "All right! I'm ready!"

The three went over to a giant, fallen log that made the form of a bridge over a chasm in front of a waterfall.

Rule #1: A princess must walk with good posture and balance.

Nick picked up a twig, and placed it on top of Judy's head.

As everyone walked carefully among the log, Judy balanced the twig upon her head.

(Finnick)
"Now, shoulders back,
And stand up tall,"

(Nick)
"And do not walk,
But try to float!"

(Judy)
"I feel a little foolish,
Am I floating?"

(Finnick)
"Like a little boat,"

(Nick)
"You give a bow,"

Judy gave a small curtsy.

(Judy)
"What happens now?"

(Finnick)
"Your paw receives a kiss,"

Nick demonstrated by gently kissing Judy's paw.

Finnick took the twig, and placed it on his own head to show Judy.

(Nick and Finnick)
"Most of all remember this:"

(Finnick)
"If I can learn to do it,
You can learn to do it!"

Nick took the twig from Finnick, and placed it back on Judy's head.

(Nick)
"Something in you knows it-"

(Nick and Finnick)
"There's nothing to it!"

Judy closed her eyes, spread out her arms, and walked down the log exactly how the foxes told her to.

(Finnick)
"Follow in my footsteps,
Shoe by shoe,"

(Nick and Finnick)
"You can learn to do it too!"

Some time later, the group was traveling in a wagon down the Bunnyburrow countryside.

Rule #2: A princess must show proper manners. Nick, Finnick, and Fru-Fru helped Judy practice perfect royal etiquette. Although they were going very fast, Judy was able to follow their lead and got better and better.

(Finnick)
"Now, elbows in and sit up straight!"

(Nick)
"And never slurp the stroganoff!"

(Judy)
"I never cared for stroganoff!"

(Finnick)
"She said that just like a Hopps!"

(Nick)
"The Samovar!"

(Finnick)
"The caviar!"

(Judy)
"Dessert and then goodnight?"

(Nick and Finnick)
"Not until you get this right!"

Next, the group were now riding on the backs of horses.

Judy and Fru-Fru were riding a chestnut, Finnick was riding a black horse, and Nick was riding a yellow horse.

(Nick and Finnick)
"If I can learn to do it, (If he can learn to do it)
You can learn to do it! (You can learn to do it!)"

(Finnick)
"Pull yourself together!"

(Nick and Finnick)
"And you'll pull through it!"
They were able to get their horses to prance perfectly, during which Judy blew a kiss.

(Finnick)
"Tell yourself it's easy,"

(Nick and Finnick)
"And it's true!
You can learn to do it, too!"

But as they all jumped over a small cobblestone wall, Nick accidentally fell off of his horse and landed in a puddle of mud.

Fru Fru noticed the fox in the mud, and laughed.

Later on, the group was now riding in the back of a motor vehicle, driven by a jaguar chauffeur.

Finnick took out a huge chart. "Next, we memorize the names of the royalty!" He announced. He showed the chart to Judy, revealing it to be the family tree of the Hopps family.

(Finnick)
"Now here we have Hopotkin!"

(Nick)
"Shot Floptompkin!"

(Finnick)
"In the Botkin!"

(Judy)
"Oh!"

(Finnick)
"And dear old uncle Rudy loved his vodka!"

(Nick)
"Got it, Judy?"

(Judy)
"No!"

(Finnick)
"The Baron Bunnykin!"

(Judy)
"He was...?"

(Nick)
"Short!"

(Finnick)
"Count March Haretoly!"

(Judy)
"Had a...?"

(Nick)
"Wart!"

(Finnick)
"Count Pixel!"

(Nick)
"Wore a featured hat!"

(Finnick)
"I hear he's gotten very fat!"

(Judy)
"And I recall his yellow cat!"

Nick and Finnick stared at Judy blankly, and exchanged a baffled glance at each other.

"I don't believe we told her that," Finnick said to Nick.

A while later, the group were riding bicycles on the countryside. Fru Fru just rode in the basket on Judy's bicycle.

The more Judy studied on becoming the Grand Duchess Judistasia, the more confident and proud the bunny was now becoming. She even began warming up to Nick and Finnick more than ever, realizing that not all foxes were as bad as she thought they were.

(Judy)
"If you can learn to do it,
I can learn to do it!"

(Finnick)
"Don't know how you knew it!"

(Judy)
"I simply knew it,
Suddenly I feel like someone new!"

In no time at all, the group was riding on the top of a bus, arriving at a harbor in the Meadowlands, as Nick promised.

(Nick and Finnick)
"Judy, you're a dream come true!"

Once the bus stopped, they hopped off, and prepared to board a waiting ship that was bound for their main destination. Zootopia!

(Nick and Finnick)
"If I can learn to do it,"

(Judy)
"If I can learn to do it,"

(Nick and Finnick)
"You can learn to do it!"

(Judy)
"You can learn to do it!"

The foxes each took Judy by the hand as they walked towards the ship, before heading up the large wooden ramp.

Judy gave a curtsy, before walking up towards Nick and Finnick exactly they way they taught her.

(Finnick)
"Pull yourself together!"

(All)
"And you'll pull through it!"

(Finnick)
"Tell yourself it's easy,"

(All)
"And it's true!"

(Nick and Finnick)
"You can learn to do it!"

(Judy)
"Nothing to it!"

(All)
"You can learn to do it too!"
