MEMORANDUM
TO THE LOYAL, CHOSEN GUARD:
DO NOT GLANCE AT SECOND PAGE UNTIL FIRST PAGE HAS BEEN READ
Two
The gift you have received is psychic protection from the visions of Alice Cullen.
The Cullen Coven now fall on the wrong side of the new extension of The Law. Their crimes have been largely unpunishable until now. There will be no trial and there will be no chance to gather witnesses. They must no longer avoid the consequences of their harmful actions.
Despite this, you are not to travel to their current residence. Too much time spent under the protection that we have discovered is dangerous. Limit your proximity to the hybrid; only a few hours at a time, maximum. We are being watched. You are being watched. I have seen the splintered reach of Alice Cullen's mind; the only ability to hide from it now resides in your possession and under Volturi control. Alice Cullen is quick, she is clever, and our time begins to tick now.
You are not to aim for the Cullens directly. An indirect attack is imperative. You are able to make decisions now, but you must also be careful; you can not make too many. Their demise will not be at your hands or crafted from your mind. You are to travel up through Central America along the Pacific coast into Mexico. You are to head for the Southern Conflict. You are to seek out anyone who recognizes and reacts negatively to the name Jasper Whitlock.
You are to avoid the Eastern shores; avoid Nuevo Leon, Texas, Tamaulipas, and Coahuila if possible. I have seen in the minds of many the way the warlords do not forgive. Seek out an enemy of Jasper Whitlock, promise them a pardon, request a favor, and allow their methods to carry them in the direction you are to point them. Visit with them regularly, but do not linger long. You must recruit a volunteer quickly.
The punishment and eventual fall of Carlisle Cullen's coven is vital and is the ultimate goal, but the death of Jasper Whitlock is necessary above all as the next step in this mission.
When you have located an adequate accomplice, you may open the third letter.
A/N: Tick, tock.
