Alright time for a New Update! Sorry That it took so long this time around, I had alot of stuff happening and then I got distracted by video games like Tears of the Kingdom, Mass effect, and such…. Respite

Ruby's Personal Quarters, A.P. 238/2/22, 5:30 AM

Ruby lays on her bed looking up towards the ceiling, her body having woken up not to long ago and refusing to go back to sleep no matter how many times she wished she could. It has been at least a day since the initiation mission, since the Falspawn returned. Since then all ARKS ops have been moved to active combat status, with patrols ongoing even now on multiple planets. However due to increased Falspawn activity on other planets Ruby and the other Gen 3 ops are currently restricted to the forest area's of Naverius.

Unable to fall asleep with her mind on Matoi and this Mysterious Xion, she rolls out of bed and walks over to her wardrobe. Once there she grabs her casual outfit and quickly changes into it, once she's done she put on her signature red cloak and walks out the door of her quarters, heading to the teleporters to Franca's Cafe for breakfast.

Franca's Cafe, A.P. 238/2/22, 6:30 AM

As the lights of the ship starts to brighten, simulating the morning sun rising, ARKS Ops pour into the cafe, many ordering just a simple cup of coffee to wake them up before they go out on patrols, while just as many order food, taking a seat in the seating area's both upstairs and down. Ruby however is enjoying her breakfast, when she see's both Alex and Morgan, dressed in their casual clothing, walking up to her table with trays of food in their hands.

"Hey Ruby, are these seats taken?".Morgan asks as she motions to the open chairs across from Ruby. "You know you two can always eat with me." Ruby says with a smile as the twins smile and take a seat, Alex has a nice breakfast platter consisting of toast, two over hard eggs, hashbrowns and bacon while Morgan has a breakfast sandwich along with a hashbrown patty.

"So Ruby, how has the past two days been treating you?" Alex asks as he prepares to cut into his eggs, to which Ruby shrugs. "So so… been worried about that girl we brought back." Ruby says as she takes a bite of her food, to which Morgan nods. "Understandable, especially since she appeared out of nowhere." Alex says, "Do you think she's from another dimension like you Ruby?" Morgan asks, to which Ruby shakes her head. "No… I don't think so, her clothes had ARKS symbols on them." Ruby says to the twins.

"So, that brings up the question… Who is she? Where did she come from? And how did she get here?" Morgan asks, to which Ruby remains silent, she knows who the girl is, but she remembers that Xion asked that her name to not be said to anyone.

After a few seconds Ruby looks up towards Morgan, "We'll figure that out later, for the moment Morgan, might I ask you a question?" Ruby asks to which Morgan looks at Ruby confused. "Sure, what is it?" Morgan asks. "Back on Naverius, after you got wounded from the Fang Banshee-" Ruby starts before being interrupted by Morgan, "Oh yeah… you called that power Aura?" Morgan asks as Ruby nods, to which Morgan then sighs, "Unfortunately for you I have no idea how I got it… only that it started after I was injured after the attack on the Ansur ten years ago." Morgan says as she takes a bite of her breakfast sandwich.

"...I… I know how she got it." Alex says, as he looks down, causing both Ruby and Morgan to look at him. "What do you mean? You were surprised when I first healed a cut when I was helping you with dinner." Morgan says confused. "Because I wasn't sure if what the operative did was a one time thing or not." Alex says as he looks at his sister "I didn't know how they saved you, but I thought the healing power from your wound was a one time thing.." He finishes as he looks down.

"My wound? But you told everyone that I was easily healed easily from the cut I got." Morgan says in complete confusion, as Alex continues to look down, as if ashamed of something, causing fear to spread across Morgan's face. "Alex… how bad was the wound I got?" Morgan asks, to which Alex looks at her sadness in his eyes, "You would've died…" Alex barely gets out, causing Morgan to slump back in her chair.

"Wait, what exactly happened that day?" Ruby ask's she looks at Alex, who sighs in return. "A lot of things… I don't remember much, but I can tell you what I know." Alex says as he clears his throat, ready to explain what happened ten years ago. "Now, you know that before the attack me and Morgan lived in the downtown residential district, near the epicenter of the attack. Before the attack itself I was in the kitchen still learning to cook more complicated meals, suddenly the alarms goes off. Morgan rushed from her room to join me in hiding, then the next thing I knew was the building starts shaking and then collapses in on us…" Alex starts to tell what exactly happened..

Ten years ago…

A.P. 228/8/7 12:35 PM

A young Alex coughs roughly as he starts to open his eyes, as lays in the rubble that was once his home, looking up at the artificial sky of the outer dome. Alex then moves to sit up, pain radiating as his arms and legs are cut up a bit from the collapse of the building.

"Morgan…?" Alex calls out, before coughing up some dust as the sounds of gunfire and battle are happening nearby, showing that the attack hasn't ended yet. Alex looks around as the dust starts to settled, and see's Morgan not to far from him, unmoving and covered in a bit of rubble. Immediately Alex rushes over, ignoring the pain radiating throughout his body as he tries to move the rubble off of his sister.

After a few minutes of struggling, Alex gets the heavy rumble off of his sister and gasps as he take a look at her. While Morgan is slowly breathing, she's unconscious, and her forehead having a massive gash which is bleeding profusley, he can even see her skull, which has cracked. "Morgan.. Morgan please get up." Alex says softly as he shakes his sister, making sure not to raise his voice just in case of any Falspawn are still around, but she doesn't stir.

Alex begins to panic as he looks around, looking for the medical kit that they have, hoping it survived the collaspe, but is worried if he leaves Morgan's side something would happen. So for the next few seconds Alex stays by his sisters side, silent as to not draw any attention from any nearby falspawn, until the sounds of a nearby battle catches his attention, looking back and forth between the noises of battle and Morgan, Alex makes a decision and slowly gets up and walks toward the noises, occasionally looking back at Morgan.

As Alex rounds the destroyed entry way of the building, he sees a lone Operative facing a number of Falspawn. Alex watches as the Operative fearlessly fights off the Falspawn, effortlessly cutting down the dark beasts, and soon enough the Falspawn are slayed, dissipating into the air as the photons are purified while the ARKS Operative puts away their weapon into their inventory.

Seeing this Operative easily take out the Falspawn fills the young boy with hope. As such he gathers his energy and yells out, "H-Help! My sister needs help!" Alex yells out, as loud as he could, and luckily the Operative and faces him, rushing over to Alex's side. "Where is she?" The Operative asks, "T-this way!" Alex says grabs their hand and starts to lead them to his sister.

Alex and the Operative find Morgan still in the same spot, having lost a lot more blood since Alex left her side, The Operative then kneels down besides Morgan making sure she's still breathing. "I'm…I'm scared, I don't know where the medical kit is, I-I don't-" Alex Starts, starting to shake uncontrollably, causing the Operative to turn their attention to Alex, grabbing his shoulders.

"Hey, Hey, look at me," The Operative says as they look Alex in the eyes, causing Alex to calm down a bit. "She's going to be ok, I promise you." The Operative says before returning their attention back to Morgan, resting a hand on her shoulder.

The Operative takes a deep breath as suddenly they begin to glow, a glow that transfers to Morgan, who starts to glow a shade of Purple. "For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee…"(*1) The Operative says as both them and Morgan glowly brightly.

Alex watches as both his sister and the Operative glow, and to his shock and relief, he watches as Morgan's wound close up and skull repair itself, as Morgan's expression softens as if she's blissfully sleeping.

Tired the Operative sits back after seeing the wound heal, "She'll be just fine, now come on, lets get both of you somewhere safe," The Operative says as they scoop Morgan up and motions for Alex to follow them as they start to leave the destroyed building.

Present day

"Afterwards the Operative got me and Morgan to a evacuation teleporter that was guarded by mom and dad, and it was still working. And before you ask Ruby, no, I don't remember what the person who saved us looked like, Can't recall a face, eye color, or even their gender… its just a big blur." Alex says, as Morgan slumps back at hearing the story about how she was saved and still alive.

"I see…" Ruby says as a thousands of thoughts rush through her mind, wondering who was that unlocked Morgan's Aura.

Suddenly Ruby's radio goes off, alerting her that Filia trying to reach her, "Ah good you're up," Filia says, "Is something the matter Filia?" Ruby asks the nurse officer, "The girl you brought in has woken in up, but she is unusually taciturn, could you come by the hospital as soon as possible?" Filia asks the silver-eyed operative before disconnecting.

"Sorry, I got to go," Ruby says to Alex and Morgan as she stands up, who both nod at her. "We understand… J-just let us know how that girl is doing." Alex says to Ruby as he takes a bite of his toast, wanting to stop focusing on the attack ten years ago. "You got it, and sorry for reminding you of that," Ruby says as she starts heads to the teleporters, quickly transferring the Meseta(*2) for her breakfast before she leaves, as the twins continue to speak to each other.

Hospital, A.P. 238/2/22, 7:15 AM

Ruby appears from the teleporters into the reception are of Hospital, once she is instantly greeted by the medical staff behind the counter, "Good morning ma'am, I assume you know the way?" one of the medical staff asks her, to which she nods. Ruby walks down the clean halls of the building before arriving at the door that leads into Matoi's medical room, she knocks on the door, "It's open!" Filia says from the other side.

Ruby enters the room, seeing Filia standing next to a now awake Matoi, who at the moment is sitting up and looking downwards towards her cupped hands, "Good, you're here," Filia says turning away from her terminal to look at Ruby. Matoi looks up as well, and visible brightens when she see's Ruby, "Ruby!" Matoi says with a smile on her face, "Did you tell her your name?" Filia asks Ruby, "No, I didn't," Ruby answers, shaking her head.

"I heard it in my head…" Matoi says, causing the operative and the nurse to look at her, "I'm Matoi…" upon hearing Matoi's name Filia immediately checks her terminal, looking for Matoi's record. "Her name doesn't appear in the ARKS database, but her bio-signature is a complete match for ARKS, is she from another planet?" Filia asks herself, tilting her head as she does so.

"Matoi, do know how you ended up on Naverius?" Filia asks, however Matoi remain quiet, in fact she moves out of the medical bed and moves to hide behind Ruby, barely peeking out from behind Ruby's back. "Oh, Did I spook you, that wasn't my intention, I'm sorry," Filia apologizes to Matoi, who peeks out from behind Ruby. "It seems she's attached to you, as if you imprinted on her or something, are you certain you never met before?" Filia asks Ruby, "No, I haven't.." Ruby tells Filia while looking at Matoi.

"Then that makes this all the more puzzling, and we can't leave her though…" Filia says, dismissing her terminal, "Listen, you got ARKS work to do so I can't ask you to stay around indefinitely, but could you drop by from time to time?" Filia asks the Silver eyed operative, "Like I said before she'll be in my care, and if anything comes up you'll be the first to know," Filia tells Ruby. "Alright, I'll visit here and there, thanks for looking after her Filia." Ruby say to Filia who nods, "Um… Ruby?" Matoi says causing Ruby to look at her, "I got this… awful feeling, be extra careful ok?" Matoi asks Ruby, "I will," Ruby assures Matoi, before leaving the room.

Gate Area, A.P. 238/2/22, 8:55 AM

Ruby, now equipped in her combat outfit, waits in the gate area, watching the many operatives head to the gateway ships for patrol. "Hey Ruby!" Ruby turns to see Afin, Alex, Morgan, Zach, and Emily walking towards her, all dressed in their combat armor, "Hey everyone!" Ruby says, "How's the girl doing?" Zach asks, "She's awake, and said that her name was Matoi, but she doesn't remember much beyond that," Ruby informs the group.

"Nothing but her name? Thats actually kinda sad," Alex says, crossing his arms, as he's feel a lot better after speaking about the events ten years ago. "Yeah… I'll be visiting her here and there to check on her though," Ruby tells everyone. "Well next time you visit, tell her that we say hi," Afin says with the rest of the group agreeing with him.

"Anyway, all of us are about to head down to patrol Naverius, wanna come with?" Zach asks Ruby, "Not just yet, I got to meet the class representatives, and then I promised to meet up with Theo," Ruby says, "don't wait for me though, I'll meet you planetside when I'm done however." Ruby finishes. "Alright then, say Hi to Theo for us." Alex says as the group starts to walk away, "Oh and Ruby, be… cautious around the Ranger/Gunner representative, she's… unique," Emily turns around and informs Ruby, who nods at Emily's advice.

As Ruby watches her friends head to the gateway ships she turns to walk up the steps to meet the first Class representative, Oza, representing the melee fighters of ARKS, the Hunters and Fighter. Oza, the dark green, borderlining on black, haired late gen 2 ARKS operative is at the top of the small set of stairs finishing talking to a handful of ARKS operatives. Once the group of operatives breaks away, leaving Oza alone, Allowing Ruby to approach him. "Hey Ruby," Oza says as the silver eyed approaches him, "Hey Oza, been busy as of late?" Ruby asks the operative, who nods. "Yeah as the latest Class Representative for the hunters and the fighters my work is nearly endless," Oza says, "Anyway I assume you're meeting all the class representatives before you move out on your next patrol?" Oza asks Ruby. "Yeah, Although I already know how Hunters and Fighters work, just thought I drop by and say hello." Ruby says with a smile. "Well thanks, if you're looking for the Techter/Force Representative, she's on the opposite side of the teleporter," Oza says, referring to the teleporter behind him.

"Thanks Oza!" Ruby says as she walks away. Oza waves goodbye before turning his Attention to two ARKS ops interested in the hunter class come up to him. Ruby walks around the teleporter tube and see a newman female pink haired Force/Techter, who notices Ruby approaching her. "Oh Hello, I'm Marlu, the Force/Techter representative," Marlu introduces herself with a bow. "Nice to meet you Marlu, I'm Ruby, Hunter class at the moment," Ruby says with a smile. "I assume you're here to learn about the Force and Techter classes?" Marlu asks, to which Ruby nods.

"Right, then let me tell you the basics, as you know the Techter and Force operatives can manipulate the Photons in the air to cast elemental attacks such as Foie and Barta, and to strengthen our allies with techniques like Shifta and Deband. And this is all achieved by using our Rods and Talis for Force, and Wands and Talis for Techters." Marlu says, summoning her Rod, followed by her Talis, and finally her Wand, all basic weapons for said classes.

"I hope that you become a Force or a Techter in the future," Marlu says with a smile, to which Ruby nods. "I'll think about it, thank you Marlu," Ruby says with a smile, before walking off to find the Ranger Representative.

Walking away from Marlu, Ruby starts to look around for the final Representative, only to find nobody.. That is until she feels a scary stare on the back of her head, "Well well well, you are the one with the this 'Force field' that can protect you from damage, are you not?" A voice behind her asks. Quickly Ruby turns around, and sees a female CAST, with piercing red eyes, a unnerving smile, metallic blue hair and parts, red lights, with some white mixed in with her body parts, not only that but looking at Ruby with sadistic curiosity(*3).

"Um yes.. I'm Ruby," Ruby stammers out, feeling unnerved by the look she is getting from the Cast. "Hehehe, I'm Risa, the Ranger/Gunner representative, its nice to meet you," The Cast, now known as Risa, introduces herself with an nerve shaking chuckle, which sends shivers down Ruby's back. "I wonder how much gunfire that force field of yours can take before to breaks." Risa says, chuckling to herself, "Well, I'll see you around," Risa quickly says before walking away. Ruby tries to reach for her to stop, "Ah wait…" but it's too late as Risa heads to the gateway ships to head on patrol, "...Maybe I'll ask Emily or Afin about Rangers and gunners when they have free time…" Ruby says, mentally making a note to stay away from Risa if possible.

With all three representative met, met being put lightly for Risa, Ruby decides to head to the teleporters that will take her to where her friend she met during training. A male, blonde haired, Newman named Theodor.

Shopping Plaza, A.P. 238/2/22, 9:10 AM

Ruby walks out of the teleporter tube, appearing in the shopping plaza, the place to buy new weapons, outfits, even furniture for each operatives personal quarters. Its also the place to buy Mono, Dia, and Trimates for missions, and to upgrade any weaponry ARKS ops receive. Ruby walks past the fountain in the middle and heads down the ramp leading to the main stage, looking past that one could see one of the few city areas of the ship. Complete with an artificial beach, ocean, and the artificial sky, which is one of the domes of the ship.

Ruby looks to the right, and sees Theodor talking to his close friend, a female Newman named Ulku. "Hey Theo, Ulku!" Ruby calls out, catching the two Newmans attention, "Hey Ruby!" Ulku says waving to her as she walks up. "Oh, h-hi Ruby," Theodor says with a small shy smile as Ruby walks up, Ruby remembers that Theodor wasn't as enthusiastic about joining ARKS, but he begrudgingly joined due to Ulku, as she unable to manipulate photons during the test at basic training.(*4)

"How's everything doing Ruby?" Ulku aks with a smile, "It's going well, about to head to Naverius for patrol." Ruby says to Ulku, who nods. "T-thats good to hear," Theodor stammers out, smiling a bit. "I just decided to drop by to see how you were doing Theo, especially since none of us expected that the Falspawn would return." Ruby says, to which Theodor meekily nods, "Y-yeah, I'm fine…" Theodor stammers out.

"Sometime I wish I could do what both of you could do." Ulku says, while looking at the ground. "D-don't be so hard on yourself Ulku, you're just as strong as us." Theodor says, trying to cheer his friend up. "Not strong enough to join ARKS.." Ulku says, still disappointed that she failed the exam. "Still you got further than most others, Ulku, you should be proud of that." Ruby tells Ulku, who smiles at her, and nods, "You're right Ruby, I managed to get through a good portion of basic training before the photonic test."

Theodor nods, smiling at Ulku's mood Improve, "Well, its was nice to see how both of you are doing, but I need to get on patrol." Ruby says to the two friends, who both nod at her. "Gotcha, stay safe out there Ruby," Ulku says, to which Theodor nods, Ruby nods back as she walks away, heading to the teleporters to take her back to the Gateway ships.

Naverius Forest, A.P. 238/2/25, 1:46 PM

Three more days have passed, Ruby is currently patrolling the forest area of Naverius, keeping an eye out for any Falspawn or F-factor corrupted wildlife. As she walks she thinks about the rumors that ARKS latest Infromation broker/gatherers Pati and Tia has spread circling around the ARKS operatives about a draconian enemy that a few operatives have seen while out in the field, which disappears as suddenly as it appears.

Ruby continues to think of this rumor when suddenly her radio goes off as her HUD flashes.

"Attention all ARKS Ops in sector G-9, Dangerous F-Factor levels are present in the sector, please eliminate all Falspawn that appear," Hilda, an ARKS mission Operator(*5) says on all radio channels, as Ruby's HUD updates as words flash across it, accompanied by a voice, "EMERGENCY CODE: ATTACK."(*6) the voice says.

Ruby's HUD updates as hostiles appear on her radar, seeing the Dagan's warp in near her before charging at her. Quickly she pulls out Crescent Rose, the bluish-green photonic blade folding out and coming to life with a glow. In excellent form, Ruby slashes at three Dagan's who lunged at her with a wide arc forcing them back, destroying one in the process.

Ruby quickly looks around and at her radar, which see counts at least 7 Dagans around her, minus the one she just destroyed. Two more Dagan charge at Ruby, causing her to jump back a bit to dodge the Dagan's stabs, as she lands she ducks immediately, dodging another swipe from the Dagan behind her.

With both form and timing Ruby easily dodges most of the Dagans swipes, only getting hit a few times which her Aura heals easily. Ducking under the claws of another Dagan, Ruby thrusts Cresent Rose forward, striking the Falspawn Core under the beast causing it to disappear. Ruby quickly deflects another strike before bisecting another, causing it to fade away as well.

Its not long until all Falspawn near her fade away, the F-factor completely purified. As the sounds of battle fade around her Hilda's voice comes over the radio once again. "F-Factor levels have been reduced to acceptable levels, All ARKS Ops in escort G-9, you may continue your mission." Hilda says open all channels as across Ruby's HUD shows Completed next to the Emergency Code along with the voice saying, "COMPLETED!".

Ruby lets out a small breath as she puts away Crescent Rose, folding it up before it dissipates into the air, being sent into Ruby's Inventory, before she starts walking her patrol route yet again.

Over the next few minutes Ruby continues her patrol, looking around for any hostile wildlife until a voice behind her catches her attention. "I have a question for you. Would you mind answering it?" A female voice asks from behind her. "Huh?" Ruby says aloud as she turns to face the person, only to see no one there, confused Ruby looks around, but not even her HUD doesn't even identify anybody around her.

Suddenly noise catches Ruby's attention from behind her, and as she turns to look, she sees a young woman with blue hair that turns to violet at the ends, brown eyes, wearing a yellow bodysuit with bulky armored pants around her legs, and has two daggers gautlets on her arms, their blades having a star like pattern on them.

The mysterious woman raises one of her Daggers towards Ruby's back, prompting Ruby to face forward, and raising her arms in a surrendering motion. "You're aware of reports of rampaging dragons are on the rise, I trust?" The woman asks, as Ruby nods, "Only as much as what Pati and Tia have been telling everyone." Ruby says to the woman. "Do you know anything about their whereabouts, or if there are any particularly strong specimens?" the mysterious woman asks, to which Ruby shakes her head, "I do not, I just became an ARKS op just a few days ago." Ruby says.

After a moment of silence Ruby feels the blade of the dagger move away from her, allowing her to turn and face the mysterious woman "I see… Pardon my breach in etiquette. Carry on with your exploration and disregard what I just said." The woman says as she then turns around and walks away, showing a mechanical like tail before becoming invisible again, leaving Ruby alone with her thoughts.

"I wonder who that was?..." Ruby asks herself in a low tone, before shaking her head and starting to walk again, returning to her patrol, hoping to find something to help her get back home to Remnant.

Ruby's Personal Quarters, A.P. 238/2/29, 9:30 PM

Ruby enters her personal quarters, having just finished her patrol and meeting with Matoi again in the hospital. While Matoi is fine physically, any memories she had personally about herself are drawing blank, which brings only more confusion to Ruby.

"Hello Xion," Ruby says while she feels Xion appear in her room as she finishes changing into her pajama's, "What can I do for you?" She asks as she sits on her bed, looking at the mysterious being in front of her.

"I've come to check on you, and to thank you personally for keeping in touch with Matoi." Xion says, to which Ruby shrugs. "It no problem, it's weird.. But I already feel some sort of… I just feel something around her." Ruby says as she cups her hands and looks at them, to which Xion nods.

"... So why are you truly here Xion?" Ruby asks as she looks up towards Xion. "...I've come to ask for your assistance," Xion says as her silver eyes look directly into Ruby's. "With what?" Ruby ask's, tilting her head a bit.

"I cannot say…" Xion says as she closes her eyes for a moment, to which Ruby's eyebrows raise slightly. "Why not?" Ruby asks, "I cannot risk crucial information falling into the wrong hands. I know this does not help you in making you trust me, and I apologize to ask that you must." Xion says.

"For now, I ask that you continue as you are, and when you can, look for the best potential opportunity to diverge from your chosen path. I cannot say more than that as of this moment, other than I pray that you will be the one to absolve me of my regrets." Xion says as she turns to walk away, starting to fade away.

"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Ruby tries to ask, but it's too late as Xion fully disappears, leaving Ruby alone in her personal quarters. "Just what did she mean by that? Absolve her of her regrets?" Ruby asks as she starts to lay back in bed, wondering why Xion said that, but she also thinks of home, of her friends and sister that she hasn't seen for two years.

She starts wondering what Yang, Weiss, Blake, Her dad, Uncle Qrow, Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora, and even Zwei are doing right now. Do they think she's dead? Are they hoping that she's still alive? All Ruby wants to do right now is just send them a message, to let them know she's ok…. Ruby drifts off to sleep looking out towards space, wishing, longing to go home.

Shopping Plaza, A.P. 238/3/8, 11:27 AM

Ruby walks out of the teleporter, having come straight from the teleporter in the ARKS personal quarters area. for the past few days she's been saving up enough Meseta to purchase a few new weapons and even some new furniture for her Personal Quarters.

As she walks towards the center of the plaza, seeing the fountain as lively as ever. She looks towards the vendors across from her as she walks, seeing operatives both old and new pick up either new custom outfits made for them, armored to protect them, skill disks to learn new abilities, and even Mono, Dia, and Trimates for missions they're about to go on.

As Ruby rounds the corner she see's a line of Gen 3 ARKS Ops in front of Aragas as they purchase new weaponry from him, she even see's Alex, Emily, and Zach waiting in line, who all smile as they see her.

"Hey, Ruby here to pick up a few new weapons as well?" Emily asks as Ruby joins them in waiting. "Yea, here to pick up a sword actually, before getting some furniture, what about you all?" Ruby asks as the line moves up a bit. "I'm here for a Partisan and a Gunblade, and if possible a Vita Sword, heard they got in a new shipment of Vita(*7) starting weapons a few minutes ago." Alex says as the line moves up again.

"Really?" Ruby's eyes light up, "If we get some those should hold us over until we can requisition some Ray(*8) series weapons." Alex, Zach, and Emily nod as Ruby finishes talking. "Morgan already requisitioned her Ray Daggers, Double saber, and Knuckles, she saved up some money from before we signed up and some client orders(*9) she did. She's basically broke now but those Ray weapons are some of the best." Alex says, making Ruby understand why Morgan isnt here now waiting in line for a chance at the Vita weapons.

"Smart, looks like she already has a advantage over us… ooh I wish she'll show me them when she gets them." Ruby says, already looking forward to what the fresh Ray weapons looks like. Ruby then turns to look at the line and see's that the group is next.

After the Operative in front of them is done, Alex asking for a Vita Sword, Partisan, and Gunblade. Aragas nods as he hands the weapons to Alex one by one as Alex transfers the Meseta for the weapons. Zach asks for a Vita Partisan and Wired Lances for himself as he transfers the Meseta, fine with his Alba sword at this moment. While Emily asks for a Vita Gunblade, transferring the Meseta as she receives it before walking to the side.

"Greetings, how may I help you?" Aragas asks as Ruby steps up to the weapon counter, her HUD connecting to the shops inventory and a holographic menu shows up before her, showing the weapons and their prices. "Yes, I would like to buy a Vita Sword please?" Ruby asks as Aragas, who nods, "Of course, I shall transfer it to your inventory momentarily, can you please transfer the Meseta?" Ruby nods as she transfers over the 5,760 Meseta needed for the sword, and a few seconds later she see's the Vita sword appear in her inventory.

"Can I assist you in anything else Operative?" Aragas asks, to which Ruby shakes her head. "No thank you, but thanks for the sword." Ruby says as she walks to the side. "Of course. Next please." Aragas says as the next Operative steps up to purchase a weapon, as Ruby joins Alex, Zach, and Emily.

"Well, should we head down to Naverius and test our new weapons?" Ruby asks the group, who smile and nod. "I say so, it'll be nice to test out-" Emily says before Ruby's radio goes off, and as Ruby guesses that she's not alone in receiving this, as almost everyone else places their fingers next to their radios.

"Attention, this is a General Alert from ARKS HQ. The F-Factor around Lower Amduskia has stablized to acceptable levels. The Overseer has cleared all Gen 3 ARKS Operatives for patrol operations there. Repeat, All Gen 3 ARKS are cleared to Patrol Lower Amduskia. That is all." An ARKS Mission Operator says across all channels before disconnecting.

"Well, I guess we're testing our new weapons on Amduskia instead." Zach says with a smile. "Looks like it." Ruby says with a smile, looking forward to exploring a new world. Suddenly from the teleporter to the Gate Area next to them Morgan runs out, almost out of breath. "I guess you heard huh Morgan?" Alex asks and Morgan, who's panting, nods. "Yea… although… I just got back… from Naverius… was doing… client order… whew!" Morgan says as she catches her breath.

"Well, the work of a ARKS Op is never done, come on sis, lets go." Alex says as he pats his sisters back, who nods, smiling. "Well, what are we waiting for? Lets go!" Ruby says as she hurries into teleporter to the Gate Area, hoping to get on the next Gateway Ship to Amduskia, as Alex, Morgan, Zach, and Emily follows close behind her.

First Morgan and Alex explain how Morgan has Aura, next Ruby meets Matoi as she wakes up, she then meets Oza, Marlu, and Risa, We also meet Ruby's Oracle Friend Theodor and his friend Ulku, she then encounters a strange operative asking questions about a draconian enemy, then Xion Confuses the crud out of her, and finally she and all gen 3 ARKS Operative are cleared for the lava and Draconian filled caves of Lower Amduskia (Which we'll explore in the next chapter), I say that's a lot done for this chapter. Can I just say that trying to write Risa was hard as heck, even for a short while? And I hope I got everyone in character… its been a while since I've played the base games story.

And sorry that it took so long to get this out, First I got distracted by ToTK, then SWTOR account troubles, then started playing through Mass Effect Legendary edition, and on top of all of that… Writers block and anxiety. Hopefully next time I will find a good opening song ending song for a more anime like feel (Send me ideas for any songs you think may work). (*1):I'm not sure if there are official alternate versions of the Aura unlock chant, so I just used the one Pyrrha used to unlock Jaune's Aura. Also an Aura user is in Oracle ten years ago! Just who is this Mysterious Person? (And yes the details of the person aren't there, thats how it is in lore.)

(*3): Say hello to Risa…. The sadistic Yandere. No romantic interest planned at all, she just likes to shoot things… she's an Intresting CAST so expect more of her (Really hope I got her personality right)

(*4):Ulku in the original game story didn't get to join ARKS, she didn't even get to basic training, but I decided to alter it just a bit, to explain why a civilian would be Allowed in a ARKS only area, as for how she got into training without photonic potential, chalk it up to a False Positive on her initial photonic potential exam before training.

(*5): An ARKS Operator is a person who stays on the ARKS ships and trackes each mission with each operative thats on the planet.

(*6): Emergency codes are random Trials in the base game while you're exploring planets, there are Multiple Emergency codes that I will probably go over a few in this story.

(*7): Vita weapons are the "best" weapons when starting with Alba weapons being just beneath them. You find new weapons in the field defeating enemies, destroying item boxes in the field, defeating bosses, or appraising locked ones in the shopping plaza.

(*8): I didn't play pso2 when it just started out in JP, but i believe the Ray weapon series was around that time, and one of the stronger weapons out there at that time… of course I could be wrong, I'm an NA player so… yea..
