Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I am back with another chapter! As usual, I will be telling you guys a few things.
First off, The answer to the fourteenth 'Who's That Pokemon' is Marshadow, the 'Gloomdweller Pokemon'. The words shadow and red eyes are the obvious hints.
Second, after reading through the old comments. I learned that no one knows what Kombu looks like in her human form. I plan to fix that by making an encyclopedia of all altered characters and OCs.
It may take a while, but I'll do what I can.
And lastly, after some thought, I've decided that Mew will partake in Saitama's attack on Boros' Ship. But it won't fight or encounter Boros himself as I've settled for something special.
That is all for now and enjoy the chapter!
Earlier...
Iaian and Kombu continue to converse with one another, and their conversation is only disrupted by the sound of explosions and the rumbling of the building
Kombu glances around while Iaian immediately stands from his seat, "Is there an ongoing attack out there,"
"I do not know, but I've got a bad feeling about this," Iaian said,
Seaweed then returns to her body, snaps her eyes open, and straightens herself. But neither of them could say a word, the building stood trembled from a more powerful explosion, and all of the lights were shut off around them.
Iaian, not wanting to waste a minute, dashes out of the room and does what he can. For Kombu, she instinctively wrapped her arms around Seaweed and wrapped themselves with her hair strengthened with enough aura to shield them from any falling debris.
But such a thing wasn't necessary as the building held, and the lights went back through the emergency generators.
Kombu then lowers her hair and turns to Seaweed as the latter looks up to her, "Are you okay?"
"Umu~ I'm fine," Seaweed responded, and Kombu released her,
The two then proceeded to stand from their seat and worry about their current situation. Seaweed, on the other hand, went and checked her bag. Finally learning of another problem, "It's gone!"
Kombu turned and saw an empty bag, "Sensei's gone!"
With Mew's disappearance, they've become increasingly worried. Thus, they have no other choice but to act than stand around and do nothing.
Rooftop
Hovering over the roof of Association Headquarters, Mew gazes upon the ship and feels various lifeforms residing within it.
Moments later, it soon heard the ceiling of the building burst open, and out came Saitama who gazed upon the humongous ship floating over what was once City-A.
"That's big," Saitama remarked, then he noticed Mew as the two now stared at each other, "Are they related to you?"
"Mew..." Mew responded while shaking its head,
"In that case, I'd better go in there," Saitama said,
But before he could jump, Mew hovers over to him and lands on his shoulder, "You want to come too?"
"Mew!" Mew replied,
"Alright," Saitama bends down, and jumps into the air,
As he was slowly following, he and Mew noticed something in the distance and the former avoided this bullet-like projectile.
"So that's what blew the city to pieces," Saitama muttered,
"Mew!" Mew exclaimed, and Saitama turned to see various projectiles fired upon him,
Once again, Saitama keeps avoiding these bullets without Mew's aid and stops at least one of them, "Go back... To your planet!"
Kicking the projectile back at the ship causes a large hole in the ship and provides an opening for Saitama and Mew to go right through.
Now aboard the alien ship, the two were soon met with what appeared to be the aliens residing within and Mew Dons appeared to be a muscular Pokemon with four muscular arms and bumped two fists against two open hands.
What comes next is their supposed assault against the alien invaders...
Meanwhile...
On the same roof of the Association Building, there are a total of five people on the roof: Genos, Superalloy Darkshine, Tatsumaki, Child Emperor, and King.
After Child Emperor assessed the ship and its weapons, he clarified that it was unreachable by air as any aircraft would be shot down in seconds. Superalloy Darkshine asks for King's take on the situation, to which the latter replies that he can't do anything and advises that calling Metal Knight is the most plausible choice.
This soon spirals into an argument as Tatsumaki berates King's idea. After going through a tantrum about King giving the aliens a pass despite destroying the entire city.
King gave no response, instead something else was pounding within his heart, and Tatsumaki resorted to settling the matter herself. Genos volunteers to help, but she angrily declines him as she will deal with this problem herself.
As soon as that topic was done, Tatsumaki was about to leave. But she soon felt psychic energy coming from within the Association Building, 'Fubuki? No, this energy is vastly different than hers,'
Tatsumaki turns towards the hole where they came out of, and what emerges is Seaweed, who uses her psychic powers to lift herself and Kombu out of the building and onto the roof.
Once they'd landed, they were now baffled by the destruction of City-A before gazing upon the ship above.
"To think something that big would destroy a city," Kombu said, then gazed down at the destroyed city once more, "It truly is terrifying when disaster strikes when you least expected,"
"Who are you?" Child Emperor inquired,
"I'm Kombu, and she is Seaweed," Kombu introduced while gesturing to Seaweed, "We tagged along with Bang-san after he invited us here and were in the waiting area when all this happened. I hope you don't mind,"
"Are you heroes?" Superalloy Darkshine inquired,
"No, but we are willing to help with whatever we can," Kombu said, 'Since we're both involved with this mess,'
"You want to help yet you aren't heroes? What makes you think you'll be of any use?" Tatsumaki questioned,
"We can start by looking for survivors beneath all this," Kombu said, turned to Seaweed, and signaled her with a nod,
She would walk a few steps, raise her hands forward, take a breath, and unleash her psychic ability to scan every inch of the city. Everyone just stood and watched as Seaweed focused on her power, eventually, she lowered her arms, then turned to Kombu, "There's so many people down there, I can't count them all,"
"You've managed to find some survivors?" Superalloy Darkshine bafflingly asked, and Seaweed nodded in response,
"That's some power," Child Emperor remarked,
Tatsumaki stares at her, then she scoffs, "I could have done no problem,"
"Then why didn't you?" Seaweed asked,
"Then no one here will be able to deal with the ship over there," Tatsumaki explained,
"You still could have done it, though," Seaweed said,
"You wanna start something!?" Tatsumaki yelled,
"H-Hey, Tatsumaki-chan, you don't want to hurt her now, do you?" Superalloy Darkshine said while Kombu sighed at Tatsumaki's behavior, 'Today's going to be a long day...'
Alien Control Room
One of the top officers of the crew, Geryuganshoop, was monitoring the damages and casualties caused by Saitama and Mew. It cared little about the lower and middle ranks, but it did care about another officer of his rank, who was found dead on the screen.
"Impossible! Even Groribas, our best warrior, defeated?" Geryuganshoop exclaimed, "What manner of creatures are they? And how did they get aboard? Damn it! Melzargard was supposed to be guarding the ship! Now he and I are the only elite fighters left!"
As Geryuganshoop kept complaining, the doors behind it were open and the one who entered was the captain of this ship, Lord Boros.
"Geryuganshoop, what is the problem?" Boros inquired,
"Boros-sama! I'm sorry!" Geryunganshoop apologized, "I've allowed two of the natives to infiltrate the ship. In a mere four minutes since coming aboard, they have damaged 23% of the ship. Though it's just two, they've managed to defeat every warrior sent to intercept them,"
"Do not panic," Boros advised, "As long as the power sphere is safe, the ship will not fall. The damage so far is limited to the crew's living quarters. But minnows won't be enough,"
With that in mind, Boros establishes a new plan of attack on Geryunganshoop, "Geryunganshoop... You, Groribas, and Melzargard, my top lieutenants, will go eliminate these intruders. You may also release the alien captive we have and turn it against them,"
Just as Boros was about to leave, Geryunganshoop informed him of his comrade's demise, "G-Groribas has fallen, sir..."
"What?" Boros nonchalantly asked,
"Let me get Melzargard back here! He and I together will wipe out the intruders without fail!" Geryunganshoop nervously declared, and Boros glanced at the monitor before leaving the room. Geryunganshoop then sighed with relief, and turned back to the screen, 'Though I'm against releasing that 'thing' from its cells. These intruders have proven to be quite troublesome for Melzargard and me to handle alone. Boros-sama is right, we should have that thing handle them as well,'
Prison Hold
Though the aliens rarely keep any prisoners, one cell was reserved for a prisoner they've encountered. It was unlike anything they'd encountered, and Boros admitted that this creature was unlike anything he had seen or fought for several decades.
The reason for its captivity is not because Boros defeated it, it's because the creature gave itself up for the sole purpose of finding something beyond the stars.
It has remained neutral inside this cell and its guard with various minnows as a precautionary measure for an attempted escape. However, Boros and his generals clarified to these guards if they escaped, they'd be killed without hesitation.
'Hey!' Geryunganshoop called out, and the guards became tense upon hearing its voice, 'Boros-sama has ordered the prisoner's release. Turn off the field and let it handle the intruders!'
The guards were concerned about releasing this prisoner, but they could not defy the orders of Boros' Lieutenants as they opened the door and shut off the power field.
Moments later, this creature manifests a body and the guards are weary of it standing before them. For Geryunganshoop, it decided to communicate with the prisoner via telepathy, 'The ship is in danger of falling. I've located the intruders responsible, and Boros wants you to dispose of them. So get to you if you want to find what you are looking for!'
With this, the prisoner dashes out of their cell without inflicting any casualties and navigates its way through the halls with incredible speed...
Back to Saitama and Mew
As they kept wandering around the ship, Mew reverted to its original form and remained on Saitama's shoulder.
Soon it senses a psionic signature comparable to its own and Saitama stops to turn to it, "What's wrong?"
Mew remains silent and focuses on the presence it's sensing. With such strong psychic power, it's nothing like Tatsumaki's or Seaweed's. Instead, it was familiar and it was coming in fast.
Before long, the source came to them and Mew was the first to engage it by conjuring a psychic barrier of its own and colliding it against the one that came after them.
Their clash lasted for a solid minute, then they bounced back and gazed upon each other. This alien in particular was red, had a light blue face, and a single blue stripe on either side of its head.
As for its body, it has four tentacles for arms, tapered legs, a black abdomen with vertical lines, and a red chest with a crystal orb at the center.
Saitama seemed prepared to face this enemy, but he assumed that Mew had some beef with it as it was some sort of psychic as well, "Do you want to have this one?"
"Mew!" Mew replied without a glance,
"Then, I'll leave it to you," Saitama said, broke a wall, and went to a different hallway,
Now that it's just the two of them, Mew and this Alien conjured their respective psychic powers and unleashed psychic beams which clashed in the middle and caused an abrupt explosion that shook the corridors around them.
Ground Level
With some persuasion, Kombu and Seaweed were rescuing survivors, conjuring a barrier around said survivor and the former slipping her hair down through every crevice and pulling them out afterward.
This was the 10th survivor they've saved, but before they went to the next site. Seaweed senses traces of two psychic signatures above the ship. The first belonged to Mew while the second belonged to something else.
Kombu notices her trance as she approaches her and shakes her by the shoulder, "Hey, what's wrong?"
"Sensei's up there," Seaweed said, "And it's fighting someone,"
Kombu would gaze towards the ship, then she shrugged these thoughts aside and focused on the task, "Then it can handle itself just fine. Now let's go and find more survivors,"
Seaweed agrees and goes along with saving other survivors beneath the debris of City-A.
Alien Ship
The two forces were throwing down an assortment of psychic attacks, but now Mew was letting this alien pursue it through the halls while unleashing Dark-type attacks as they counteract psychic powers.
But this alien had to prove itself quite resilient as it narrowly avoided Mew's attacks and switched into another form that greatly enhanced its speed. Mew, in turn, avoids its path and changes to a different hallway.
The alien continues to pursue Mew, and the hallway they took reaches a dead-end. But Mew phases through the wall like a ghost while the alien pierces through the walls like they're paper.
Once outside, Mew started fighting back by assuming a transformation it used to fight against Tatsumaki and unleash its breath attack. The alien was quick to avoid this attack, switched to a different transformation, and retaliated by hurling a psychic orb toward Mew.
It lands a direct hit and creates smoke in the air, but Mew endures and charges it head-on. This time, it was the alien's turn to evade and give pursuit while Mew unleashed several beams at it.
Ground Level
After a group of Class S Heroes have defeated Melzargard, their attention now lies on the ship above their heads. Though Tatsumaki is currently hurling several debris, it has yet to fall or move from its stationary state.
Eventually, she sets her attention elsewhere when she senses another psychic signature belonging to a different creature. This prompted her to stop hurling debris at the ship and scan the surroundings for the source.
Once she set her sights on that direction, she soon noticed that this source was being chased by a creature she had fought before...
'So that thing is here too. Not that it's needed here,' Tatsumaki said, 'But from the looks of it, it's chasing after another alien. Probably for the best that I catch it first than you,'
Tatsumaki then uses the largest debris she can find in the surrounding area and hurls it toward the sides of the alien. But what she didn't expect was for that alien to switch into another transformation for speed, then back to its previous to retaliate against her with a psychic orb.
She saw this coming and used debris embedded with her psychic energy to shield the attack. But what she didn't expect was for the force of the orb to be stronger upon impact. Even as she brought up her psychic barrier, she could feel the speed and impact of every rock hurled toward her.
Before she could retaliate against it, Mew had already caught up to the alien, coiled around its body, and hurled it into the ground.
This soon drew the attention of the other Class - S Heroes, and rushed into the scene.
"Is that another alien, if so, I'll be smashing it to bits," Metal Bat declared with hands tightly wrapped around his bat,
"Wait, Metal Bat. It'd be unwise to rush in between that and that dragon," Bang advised as it saw Mew in its dragon form, roaring toward the alien,
"I've never seen that dragon before, but if I have to guess. I'd say it's here to fight off the aliens," Atomic Samurai presumed, then he saw the alien hovering in the same manner as psychics would, "Silver Fang's right, we shouldn't get involved,"
Everyone present now shares the same sentiment as Bang, and what follows is they witness a battle between monsters. Even in the distance, they can tell that the powers between these two are beyond what they've faced in the past and present.
Every strike, every beam, and every clash was unlike anything they've seen yet. In comparison, it somehow made them small to these two combatants and the destruction they'd leave in their surroundings is closely similar to the bombardment of this city.
"T-This is unreal..." Iaian muttered with shock in his eyes, "Had anyone tried to intervene, they wouldn't even be able to get close to either of them, let alone defeat one of them,"
Normally, the Class S Heroes present would deny Iaian's claim. But being present made them think otherwise and staying in one place is considered their best course of action.
Even Tatsumaki, who remains in the air, just watches the combatants fight off until either one of them is defeated in the end.
By the end of this bout, the first to fall was the alien as it grew relentless in its attack and the alien's defenses were faltering even with a transformation suited for this scenario.
What powered this transformation was Mew absorbing the meteor fragments it collected in the past and further amplifying its powers beyond its current limits. With one final breath attack, Mew sends the alien toward the ground and has no chance of sustaining any further damage.
Speaking of damage, Mew somehow felt exhausted from tanking a few hits of its own and reverted to its original form. Mew then slowly floats its way down and soon lands in someone's arms.
"I've got you, Sensei," Seaweed said, and Mew just nuzzled itself against her,
With their battle over, Kombu and the others gathered around her and gazed upon Mew as it rested in Seaweed's arms.
"So this is the alien everyone's been wanting to find. Admittedly, it looks quite cute," Puri Puri Prisoner remarked,
"Could please put on some clothes?" Kombu sternly demanded, "In case you haven't noticed, you're butt naked,"
"So what now?" Metal Bat inquired, "Do we try and take out that ship?"
"You could do that, but first things first," Seaweed gazes ahead of them, and everyone soon saw the alien slowly standing up,
Naturally, the Heroes were prepared to face it in combat. But Seaweed marched ahead of them and stared at the alien.
"Hey! Get away from that thing!" Iaian cried out, then he turned to Kombu, "Aren't you going to do something?"
Kombu remained quiet as she watched Seaweed with the alien. She could do something, but she trusted her to know what's she doing,
A while later, Seaweed turns to the heroes, "It's alright, everyone! It doesn't want to fight us!"
"Are you sure, Seaweed-san?" Bang inquired,
"Umu~! I'm sure!" Seaweed assured, "Mew-Sensei also said that it would harm anyone!"
With this, the heroes stand down and Kombu smiles upon Seaweed's success. But their troubles were far from over when the ship above their heads started to fall.
"It's coming down," Iaian noted,
"Hey, we better get out of here!" Metal Bat said,
The alien soon spoke psionically to Seaweed, and she relays its message to them, "It wants to help us,"
"Help? How could that thing help," Metal Bat questioned,
With what remains of its power, the alien creates copies of itself and proceeds to grab each of them with their tentacles. Then it proceeded to carry them all to safety before the ship crushed them all.
Once they've escaped, the alien ship crashes and the threat has come to an end...
That is it for this for this chapter, though I'm bound to have made several grammar mistakes. At least, I've managed to finish this.
But don't think the story is over just yet. For there's still the aftermath of the Alien Conqueror Arc and the final OVA of the first season.
In short, the first season of the story ends with 18 chapters.
That aside, you all may wonder to yourselves. How in the world did Deoxys travel from the Pokemon Universe to here and fight Boros before his arrival on Earth?
If you guys want to find out, you're gonna have to wait for the second season of the story.
And finally, for the fifteenth 'Who's that Pokemon'. I won't give any hints, but I will tell you that it ain't Deoxys. Rather it's the one Mew used before it boarding into Boros' ship.
That is all I have to say, and I'll see you all in the next chapter!
