"..." A simple girl with red hair known as Mars stared down at the Sinnoh Hisuian festival outside of the new Team Galactic base with an unhappy look on her face. Pure disgust is what it seemed like.
"What's that matter? Feeling down?" The purple haired girl, we shall call her Jupiter said as she looked at Mars who just ignored her with a simple eyeroll. Saturn then spoke to the two
"Hmm, We are almost there to that island." Saturn, the blue haired boy spoke to the two girls, knowing that they were on a very important mission they were on.
"You know, It marks the start of a long career we did with team galactic." Mars said as she had flashbacks to them being on team galactic.
"Indeed Mars. It has been several years since Team Galactic was at the top of the food chain." Jupiter sighed as she hung her head down and thought to herself about what they need to do.
"Will you two get ready? Darkrai wants to help us get this mission done so we can move on with this." Saturn commanded, needing them to get into tip-top shape to get ready.
"Yeah, Yeah. Saturn. Jeez. I can't believe it." Jupiter said as they were heading inside their own base from the mission earlier that was tough and rough.
"Yeah. Our Pokémon do need some recovering after what happened with Darkrai." Saturn reminded cause they had done it as he held a dusk ball in his hand, containing a Pokémon inside. Being that Mythical Pokémon.
"Well let's pick up the pace and bring Master Cyrus back then." Jupiter said as they needed to hurry this up. Mars sighed a bit.
"Hmm. Was this mission worth it?" Mars sighed as she crossed her arms and began having a flashback to the mission they gave themselves after escaping the prison.
Hours Ago...
As a Helicopter with the Team Galactic logo was flying around sinnoh in the dark early morning, before the festival began. The three commanders: Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were inside with four grunts inside. One was piloting the helicopter whereas the others waited, Saturn looked at a Sinnoh Map and pointed at New Moon Island to begin his plan.
"New Moon Island. That's where Darkrai is." Saturn said with his finger pointing at the location of the mythical nightmare Pokemon: Darkrai.
"Yes. One of the few Pokémon that can get master cyrus back." Jupiter said as she remembered what we down before Cyrus left into the portal.
"Were approaching New Moon island in five minutes, sir!" The Pilot of the Galactic helicopter called out as they were heading to new moon island.
"Good. Were close to getting to our goal." Saturn said as he smirked, looking back at the map and then opening a book to see the picture of Darkrai and it's ability.
"The plan after so long, will finally be in use." Mars said as she was happy about their new plan on getting Cyrus free.
"Escaping that prison was better." Jupiter sneered as she knew how they escaped and they fled using a Team Galactic helicopter then using their base to lay low from the police and never being caught again. Mars looked at Saturn.
"You know. Those brats. Do you remember them?" Mars said, wanting to remember who stopped them.
"The ones who stopped us and master Cyrus?" Saturn said as he turned his head, remembering them.
"Yeah, it was unforgettable that happened. Everything was so.. PERFECT! And then-" Mars said as she started to go crazy before Saturn grabbed her and seated her back down and looked her dead in the eyes.
"Hush now, Were coming to touch down soon. be ready." Saturn said as he put her back down in her seat.
"..." As the Team Galactic helicopter approached to New Moon island, they all got off except the pilot and began to stretch a bit before walking through the trees of New Moon Island, finding Darkrai.
"So through these forests we'll find the nightmare Pokémon. Darkrai is it?" Mars said as they walked through the forest in search of the mythical pokemon, they went through trees and bushes.
"Yes. Most of the Pokémon are gone due to Darkrai's ability when they fall asleep. Plus of his signature move that's strong: Dark Void." Jupiter said as they continued on carefully. Not making loud rackets and noises.
"So we have to be careful. No matter what." Saturn said, warning the others about what can happen if Darkrai manages to hit it's signature move and it's damage it can do.
"Look. There it is. The Mythical Nightmare Pokémon: Darkrai." Mars said as they saw the Pokemon looking up at a full moon in the sky in the darkness as he watched.
"Hello. Darkrai." Saturn said as Darkrai became aware.
"..." Darkrai stopped looking at the full moon and stared at the three commanders looking ready to battle them, it got into a battle stance in ready as the commanders smirked, knowing this was perfect.
"So, You have felt our presence, huh? Alright then let's do this." Saturn said, knowing that this was interesting. Darkrai eyeing them down was unusal but it was perfect.
"I'm sorry Darkrai. But you are needed for this mission." Mars said as they all sent out their Pokemon to battle.
"..." Darkrai stared as it looked like it was ready.
"Heh, Think you can hide and run while giving people nightmares? Well all you are gonna do is be with us until then." Jupiter teased as she knew that it can't flee since the pokemon were gonna get to it.
"The ghost plate awaits you and your Pokémon will be welcomed to team galactic for a good use." Mars said, knowing that Team Galactic had already captured one of the plates that Arceus uses as Darkrai glared angrily at them.
"..." Darkrai did not hesitate as if fired off a Dark Pulse, everyone dodged it with ease as now the real battle begins against the legendary Pokemon.
"Well now, hasty to fight us are we? Well no matter. We'll use force." Jupiter said, knowing how that they can retaliate with this of their own.
"Use Supersonic!" The three grunts called as their golbats got ready. Commanded the Supersonic
"Golbat!" The three Golbat listened to their commands as they fired off multiple ones.
"..." Darkrai managed to Double Team avoiding supersonic with very much ease as it then used Night shade and knocked out all the Golbats as they had swirls in their eyes as Darkrai eyed down the three commanders. Looking mad as the three commanders were left.
"Well, looks like it's up to us three." Saturn said, it was the commanders versus the mythical powerful pokemon.
"Skun." Skuntank said as it got ready.
"Nyanh!" Purugly joined in too.
"Croak!" Toxicroak snarled as it was ready to battle.
"Let's make this simple. It's six versus one. Join us in this and make this more simple for us. Shall we?" Saturn said as he, Mars and Jupiter all had held a dusk ball in a hand with a smirk.
"..." Darkrai stared at them angrily, it knew it was gonna be captured and he would have to fight back and make them retreat or else he would get caught by them and use him for evil purposes. Darkrai fired off a big dark void at them.
"Dodge it!" Mars, Saturn and Jupiter called as they and their pokemon dodged dark void then Darkrai got high in the sky.
"Looks like Darkrai chose the hard way. Alright. In case this one breaks, we got our own dusk balls to make sure it doesn't break free." Saturn analyzed, knowing how they got three chances and they needed some sort of plan.
"Right. So we'll need to weaken it as soon as possible." Mars said, knowing what their plan is. Weaken it then capture it. They had this in the bag.
"Now this case will be fun for us." Jupiter said with a smirked.
"Go!" The commanders said as their pokemon charged at darkrai together.
"Alright, Poison Jab! Go!" Saturn commanded as Toxicroak jumped with a purple glow in it's spike on his hand.
"..." Darkrai countered the missed Poison Jab with Double team, constantly avoiding the Poison Jab moves, it then responded back with night shade.
"Now, Slash it Skuntank!" Jupiter commanded, hoping to catch it off-guard.
"Skun... Tank!" Skuntank said as it managed to hit a weak slash before Darkrai eyed it then did a quick turnaround.
"..." Darkrai responded as Skuntank was coming closer as it dodged then fired off Dark Pulse, which hit Skuntank, knocking it back..
"Now, Use Shadow Ball!" Mars commanded last as Purugly fired off shadow ball, darkrai saw it.
"..." Darkrai blocked Shadow ball with Dark pulse as it created an explosion as the smoke was covering around, Darkrai got high in the air. Darkrai looked left and right to find Purugly. However Purugly was behind the mythical Pokémon.
"I see it now." Jupiter said as Purugly got above the nightmare Pokemon and eyed at him.
"Alright, Iron Tail!" Mars commanded as Purugly was faster than it.
"Nyah, YAH!" Purugly said it's tail of softness became steel. Darkrai saw Purugly was behind it.
"..." The Iron tail appeared before Darkrai as he knew it, before he reacted with a move, Purugly hit him with Iron tail. Sending it down towards the ground with a slam, Purugly landed down, Saturn smirked as saw this opportunity.
"Now, Let's introduce ourselves a new friend we caught to make this easier. Saturn, if you will?" Mars said as she eyed Saturn who got another Pokeball out. A Hypno came out!
"Hypno, Now. Thunder wave!" Saturn commanded, hoping to slow it down and paralyze it as Hypno's pendant swayed side to side.
"Hyppnooo..." Hypno said as it fired off electric circles and began to paralyze the pokemon.
"..." Darkrai was hit by Hypno's Thunder Wave. Darkrai was slow and shaken but he responded with a fast Dark pulse coming to the trio's Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" All three commanded said together as their pokemon jumped.
"Skun!" Skuntank cried as it jumped, missing the dark pulse.
"Nyah!" Purugly said as it jumped. Missing also.
"Hypnoooo!" Hypno cried as it was hit super effectively.
"Hypno, Return!" Saturn said as he recalled Hypno back to it's pokeball, taking it out.
"Slash! Now!" Jupiter said as Skuntank charged in with a slash.
"Skunntankkk!" Skuntank said as Darkrai tried to dodge but got paralyzed instead and was hit, as it's hand was on the ground. Sparks came out as it was paralyzed.
"..." Darkrai was shaken from the paralyzed and the attack by Jupiter's skuntank, Slash hit it hard as it narrowed it's eyes from the paralysis. Hoping to fight back, the commanders saw a opportunity arise.
"Jupiter! You're up!" Saturn said as Jupiter realized now was the opportunity to strike!
"Alright, Darkrai is ours now!" Jupiter said as she pulled out her dusk ball.
"Hurry! Before it runs away!" Mars said as Jupiter got a good grip on the dusk ball.
"Here we go!" Jupiter said as she threw her Dusk Ball at the Darkrai whom was paralyzed.
"..." Darkrai was hit by the dusk ball as it seemed to go inside as the Dusk Ball landed on the ground, It wobbled once, it wobbled twice before breaking out of Jupiter's attempt at the Dusk Ball, Angrier than before. Seemingly shaking off the paralysis.
"What!? No way!" Jupiter cried out as her attempt had failed.
"Hmph, Looks like we need to weaken it more. Alright Toxicroak. X-Scissor!" Saturn said, knowing they should do more than a few attacks. As Saturn called for an attack.
"Toxi...Croak!" Toxicroak yelled as it was coming for an X-Scissor.
"..." Darkrai got paralyzed a bit but managed to dodge the X-Scissor, Toxicroak got high in the air to chase after it, but Darkrai knocked it down with a powerful dark pulse as Saturn sneered, he was impressed a little bit.
"Ngh, That's a strong move." Saturn said as Mars took the turn now.
"Purugly. Fury Swipes!" Mars commanded as Purugly charged in.
"Nyahhhh!" Purugly cried as it's paws had sharp claws coming out as it charged at Darkrai quickly.
"..." Darkrai managed to avoid the Fury Swipes before knocking Purugly down with a Dark pulse, not knowing Jupiter was behind him with a perfect opportunity.
"Skuntank! Flamethrower!" Jupiter commanded as Skuntank got in position where Darkrai was.
"Skuntankk!" Skuntank said as it spewed fire from it's mouth, it was coming at Darkrai.
"..." Darkrai wanted to avoid it but got fully paralyzed and was hit by the burning flames before his blue eye got angry and started an attack in his and stretched it forward, pointing it at skuntank, hitting it.
"Skunk!" Skuntank cried as Darkrai managed to fire a dark pulse through flamethrower and hit skuntank, flinching it and shocking Jupiter.
"No way!" Jupiter cried out as Mars took her turn.
"Purugly! Body Slam!" Mars commanded, hoping to deal a lot more damage than actually before.
"Nyaahhaah!" Purugly cried out as it jumped high in the air as Darkrai looked up at it as it stared and tried to get an opportunity.
"..." Darkrai attempted to move out of the way but it was fully paralyzed, which cause Purugly to full body slam it, causing it to have small crater to which Darkrai was shaken and unable to move.
"Now Darkrai, My turn! Get in the Ball!" Mars said as she threw her Dusk Ball at Darkrai.
"..." Mars' Dusk ball hit Darkrai without fail too as it was sucked inside before landing as The Dusk Ball rolled down, The commanders watched as the Dusk Ball wobbled once, then wobbled twice, it stopped wobbling before Darkrai broke out of it again!
"Agh! Come on!" Mars annoyingly said as Darkrai had wasted their chance.
"Toxicroak, Rock Smash now!" Saturn commanded, this was a good chance they need a big weak point.
"Toxicroak!" Toxicroak said as it charged at Darkrai.
"..." Darkrai braced itself as it was it by Rock Smash, sending it back a bit but then a blue aura surrounded it, dropping it's defense. Darkrai looked left and right in confusion on what happened.
"Dropped it's defense, now it can be much easier to knock down." Saturn said, as he knew Rock Smash would have it's other side-effects, being a defense drop.
"Alright! Shadow Ball!" Mars commanded, hoping Shadow ball would also drop it's special defense.
"Nyah!" Purugly cried as it fired off Shadow Ball as Darkrai got ready and eyed it.
"..." Darkrai dodged the shadow ball with a Double team as Purugly was surprised the shadow ball phased through the duplicate fakes, Darkrai returned back as one.
"Now, Dark Pulse go!" Saturn commanded hoping it would get darkrai more damaged up than before.
"Toxicroak!" Toxicroak said as it fired off Dark Pulse at Darkrai.
"..." Darkrai saw the Dark Pulse coming and used it hands as it was hit but it shook it off, but had more damage done to itself than before. Darkrai then kneeled in agony and pain from the damage.
"It seems it's up to you too now." Jupiter said looking at Saturn, knowing this could be their last chance to capture the pokemon.
"Right. Let's go for it, right Jupes?" Mars said as she saw a new opportunity to strike.
"On it, Mars." Jupiter said as this was now a tag team attack, one big attack here can mean it all.
"Iron Tail!" Mars commanded as she pointed at Darkrai.
"Nyaaah!" Purugly said as it fiercly charged in with iron tail at Darkrai.
"X-Scissor!" Jupiter commanded for her last move. Both Pokemon charged in.
"Skuntank!" Skuntank said as it charged in with a super effective bug type move.
"..." Darkrai was getting ready when it was hit with paralysis as it did. Purugly whacked Darkrai with Iron tail, leaving it open as Skuntank hit it with a point blank X-Scissor in the body as Darkrai barely had it's eye open from the double team attack as it was sent flying into a rock, smashing into it as it was shaken as it stayed on the rock where it slammed into. Barely hanging on with what little energy it had left..
"Now, Darkrai. This is your last chance. If you break out. We won't hesitate to use brute force. Now Go!" Saturn said as he got his Dusk Ball out. Then he threw it at darkrai who was badly injured. This was Team Galactic's last chance to catch the nightmare mythical Pokémon.
"..." Saturn's Dusk Ball hit Darkrai as he was down, very weak as the Dusk Ball bounced off Darkrai as he was sucked into the Dusk Ball. The Dusk Ball wobbled once, then wobbled twice, then three times, the commanders waited and were ready for force but instead. A simple click. Darkrai was caught.
"AH...!" Saturn gasping in delight. They did it. They caught the Pokemon at last.
"OH MY GOSH!" Mars shouted as they managed to catch it.
"Yes!" Jupiter said as they did it, they caught him.
"We caught Darkrai! Finally!" Mars said in delight as she and Jupiter high-fived each other.
"That was annoying but finally decided to join us." Jupiter said as Saturned walked over to the Dusk ball and picked it up.
"Now. Phase one is complete. Onto Phase two." Saturn said as he stared at dusk ball with a smirky smile.
"Yep. And we know what to do." Mars said as they walked over to the grunts.
"Congratulations. You caught darkrai." The grunts said as they were happy the mission was complete.
"Yes. Let's get back to base. And treat it back to it's restored power." Jupiter demanded as she wanted to get the preperations ready.
"Right away, Sir!" The grunts said as they all headed back.
"..." The commanders all took their helicopter and flew all the way back from New Moon Island to Mount Coronet's base but while they were heading there. They had a conversation inside the helicopter.
"Master Cyrus, hold on. We are coming to rescue you." Mars said, putting her hands together.
"Can you believe it? We got Darkrai! And the most perfect time of them all!" Jupiter said being happy with what they got.
"But that's only one step out of our many." Mars said as she looked at Jupiter.
"Yes. Let's get back to the base." Saturn said, The helicopter continued on it's journey until it headed to the Mt Coronet base.
Team Galactic, Mt Coronet Base
"Were here." Saturn said as the helicopter landed on the helipad and they stepped out with plenty of grunts coming to greet them.
"Everyone. Mission Complete: Darkrai is ours." Mars said as Saturn held the dusk ball with everyone clapping.
"Now, Let's get the machine! Right away!" Jupiter demanded as they were ready to get going.
"Yes Ma'am!" The grunts said as they headed inside to get the machine ready, the commanders followed suit.
Present Time.
"That was one intense battle we had to do." Jupiter said as they walked inside the base with their plan.
"You know you said it with meaning." Saturn said as the preparations were beginning.
"Hmph. It wasn't easy to get this one to behave very well due to its stubbornness. But now. We can bring Master Cyrus back!" Mars said being happy that this can be happy as Jupiter looked through the telescope to find the Hisuian festival going on, she snarled at them.
"Look at those Sinnohian idiots. Having fun with their stupid festival of there's." Jupiter said as she was mad at the sinnoh festival, Mars went over and checked on the telescope.
"Having fun with themselves over an ancient thing while we are stuck with something like this?!" Mars said as she began to move until they passed a certain someone as Jupiter began to gasp. She thought it was an illusion or dream for a moment.
"Huh?" Jupiter said as she thought she saw someone familiar to her.
"And to think the nerve of them would have fun? Oh don't worry Sinnoh we will-" Mars said as she moved around, then she passed Alex as Jupiter became alarmed for a moment.
"Wait, Go back." Jupiter said as she took in charge and began searching in surprise, knocking mars out of turn.
"Huh. Jupes, What're you doing?" Mars said as Jupiter looked and looked and found him. She found Alex and gasped.
"No way. It's that little annoying one years later!" Jupiter said, making a shocking remark. Saturn raised his eyebrow in confusion.
"Annoying one? What are you talking about?" Saturn questioned as Jupiter turned to face him.
"That kid. Alex. What is he and his Gallade doing back here?! Some nerve they got showing up HERE!" Jupiter said as Saturn gasped, wondering if the same person.
"That brat who wouldn't join us? If I am right?" Saturn recalled as he remembered how they escaped their base.
"Yeah, That one." Mars said as Jupiter snarled, knowing this was bad.
"Tch, Little punks. Thinking they can show up now?" Jupiter snarled knowing this was bad, Mars smirked.
"Let's make their lives miserable." Mars said as she wanted to get their revenge on them for what happened.
"Indeed. Darkrai!" Saturn said as he approached the small sphere and opened the dusk ball.
"..." Saturn opened the pokeball and out came darkrai where he was trapped inside a small sphere with dots on floor, nearby was the ghost plate and what seemed to be a energy cannon that managed to be connected through the multiple parts due to trial and error
"Darkrai, Let the plan begin." Saturn said as Jupiter got the commands.
"Now, Machinery begin!" Jupiter said as the grunts began to fiddle with controls of screens to the plate.
"Ghost plate is now in tact. Now we shall begin!" Mars said as she knew the plate was ready and in tact.
"Darkrai, Dark Void!" Saturn said as he tried to command Darkrai to his orders.
"..." Darkrai began to use Dark Pulse instead of Dark Void, the machine absorbed the attack then it responded with the attack with a beam that got darkrai, Darkrai felt the pain of it's energy being sucked out with the Ghost plate at it's finest work.
"Not obeying our command? Then we will make you. I said. DARK VOID!" Saturn said as he wanted to make sure Darkrai listened before he shouted out loud for the correct move as Darkrai looked at him.
"..." Darkrai tried to ignore saturn once again as it use night shade but as it did, the machine shot sparks of electicity as an attack that hit darkrai as it was weakened, saturn frowned as he looked at Darkrai.
"Resist all you want. We can do what we say. Now. Dark Void!" Saturn said giving his demands as he commanded, darkrai opened it's eye.
"!" Darkrai listened and then fired off dark void in the machine as it absorbed the dark void attack as the plate began to react so suddenly as it glowed of darkness.
"Yes. It's beginning. Finally. We will open the portal." Mars said as she was ready to put the cannon in use.
"And that portal will bring out the beast that captured Cyrus." Saturn said as he stared up into the sky.
"Giratina." Jupiter said, knowing the legendary pokemon. Saturn looked at Darkrai.
"Darkrai. MORE!" Saturn demanded as Darkrai began to cry out as it finally used Dark Void to attack as the plate began to ventaliate and charge up, the cannon began to start..
