I see you decided to continue. Good to see. Now, before we begin, a little bit of continuity. This story will happen after the last officially named Crisis event, Crisis on Infinite Earths. So everything that happened there still happened here. What's changed however is where this stands for The Flash. I'm essentially having this replace Season 9. So you don't need to know that season, just up through the end of Season 8 will suffice. I'm sure there's a lot of Flash fans who are glad to hear that, considering that ninth season was not very highly regarded. And that's mostly because I kind of wanted to try and do one of Season 9's villains different, maybe better, than the CW did. Who exactly? You'll see. For now, we have to begin the story. And with that, let's see how this new Crisis rings out.
Dragon of Mystery Presents:
The First Story of Six telling a Crisis of Two Worlds
Starring Spyro, Cynder, and the many heroes of the Arrowverse
Elemental Crisis Book I: Through Fire and Flames
(Enjoy the show)
(Our scene opens up on a black expanse, which is swiftly filled with light, appearing to be the night sky)
?: In the beginning, there was nothing. A single black infinitude. Then the infinitude found release, breaking the darkness and filling it with not just life, but light, creating the Multiverse. Each world multiplied by infinite possibility spread out before space and time. This much you've heard before. But what few know is that beneath the worlds we know there exists... something else.
(And now we shift to, somehow, the other side of the stars, behind the expanse of space, and down. Infinitely down)
?: A realm of things not meant to exist. A world where life was bested at every turn by the forces of Darkness in their many forms. A Dark Multiverse, so to speak. But amongst these worlds that weren't meant to be, there is one constant inhabitant. The Anti-Monitor. Imprisoned down here after the Paragons of Life, the very force he opposed, sentenced him to shrink forever. Once he shrank to here, I chained him to the Rock of Finality
(And sure enough, chained to a rock that shouldn't exist is the Anti-Monitor, looking much worse for wear than he was at the time of his defeat in the last Crisis. But now he looks through the void and sees the worlds that should never be, a violet light streaking towards him)
?: And I thought I was the only one who knew he was here.
(Now the violet light takes on a familiar form, a dragon, a purple dragon, one thought long dead. Malefor, the Dark Master has arrived)
?: A force from a world on the edges of the Multiverse has found my prisoner.
Anti-Monitor: (Seeing Malefor) Who are you?
Malefor: One who seeks vengeance. Something only you can provide, Mobius.
Anti-Monitor: You are a fool to think you can contain my power.
Malefor: (Chuckles in a sinister manner) No my friend, it is you who are the fool.
(The Anti-Monitor can barely get a word out before Malefor stabs him in the chest with his tail, somehow managing to absorb him into himself, restoring Malefor to his flesh and blood form, only now endowed with more power than he's ever had in his life.)
?: And the two have become one, marking a bigger threat than anything I've ever encountered.
(With his new power, Malefor lets out a mighty roar)
Malefor: Soon those who opposed me will pay. As now, the entire Multiverse will bend to my will!
(With that, Malefor uses his newfound power to absorb the contents of this Dark Multiverse, empowering himself even further before vanishing in a fit of evil laughter, presumably heading back to seek his revenge in his original world)
?: For now he's returned to his world, in order to exact his vengeance on those who sealed him away. They'll think they can stop him again, but they can't. Thankfully, I know who can...
(And on this remark from our unknown speaker, our tale ends for today)
And that looks like a good place to stop for now. Yes, not a lot has happened, I just needed to set up our main villain: a cosmically empowered version of Malefor with all the abilities of the Anti-Monitor. Not a good thing. And yes, I did kind of borrow the Dark Multiverse from the comics for this scene. There will be some things to explain it later on. In particular one character I'm super excited to reveal, but won't yet. We need some time for this to happen. So, what is going to happen here? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
