Chapter Seventeen
"So, what's with this Dark Elite we're facing?" Kento asked.
"They are bad news," Dominic answered as the group was walking to the hospital, "as you witnessed, they take energy from people and they took our animal spirits."
"Luckily four fifths of you got them back," Flit stated.
"They still have RJ's wolf spirit," Twyla glanced around, "and we have to figure out how we'll return it to him from Kartras."
"Fat chance of that happening!"
The group turned to see Keith, Geneva and Nathan before them with a group of Rinshi.
"You again?!" Rekino exclaimed, annoyed, "the bozos who hurt RJ!"
"Look here," Dominic stated, "we have a sick friend to visit at the hospital, and we seriously don't have time for this."
"Really now?" Geneva retorted.
"We suggest that you make the time!" Keith replied, posing for battle.
"Let's do this," Dominic told the heroes.
"Fran," Twyla glanced at her and Flit, "you and Flit need to come with me. We'll hurry to the hospital to let James and the others know what's going on."
"Don't worry!" Amaya assured her friend, "We got this!"
"Armor of Wildfire! Dao Jin!"
"Armor of Torrent! Dao Shin!"
"Armor of Hardrock! Dao Gi!"
"Jungle Beast Spirit Unleashed!"
Dominic was in his ranger form while Cye, Kento, Amaya, and Josephine all armored up while Twyla managed to evade the Dark Elite with Fran and Flit.
"Where did they go?" Geneva asked, referring to the three who left.
"No matter," Keith assured his team mate, "we'll deal with them after we deal with these punks!"
"Super Wave Smasher!"
"Deep Fathom Sphere!"
Dominic looked on in delight seeing the group of rinshi taken out by the two water based attacks, "Looks like they're washed up!"
"Iron Rock Crusher!"
"Iron Stone Kinesis!"
The attacks wiped out the rinshi in sight.
"Tornado Fire Flare!" Rekino's attack wiped out the rinshi in her path.
"Jungle blade!" Dominic got out his blade, "Yeah! This is the stuff I missed!"
He took out his opponents with the blade and Rekino took out her opponents with her ninja skills, and then the five were left face to face with Keith, Geneva and Nathan.
"Was that the best you got?" Dominic asked.
"Not quite!" Keith answered as he, Geneva and Nathan prepared to fight the group.
"Josephine and I will take on the Phython!" Kento told the others as he eyed Geneva.
"Rekino, Amaya and I will deal with the dragon!" Cye glanced over at Keith.
"So," Dominic looked over at Nathan, "that leaves me with the Griffin!"

RJ looked up as he followed Master Finn's glance as Casey entered the room.
"You doing okay, man?" Casey asked.
"I've been better," RJ answered, "just not sure what I'm gonna do now that I'm down a wolf spirit."
"Don't worry," Casey assured his best friend, "just as I got my tiger spirit back both times, you'll get your wolf spirit back in no time."
"We'll find a way," Finn added.
"Guys! We have a situation!" Flit yelled as he, Twyla and James entered the room.
"What?" Casey asked.
"First off," Flit looked at his closest friend, "I'm glad you are doing better, RJ."
"Thanks, Flit,"
"Dominic, Rekino, Kento, Cye, Amaya, and Josephine are fighting the Dark Elite," Twyla told the group.
"Ryo, Mia, Rowen, Hana, and Sage are already on their way to the fight," James added.
"We should get going," Casey prepared to leave the room.
RJ sat up before his father proceeded to lay him back down, "Not so fast. You don't have your animal spirit."
"And most likely you won't be able to morph," Casey added before assuring him, "Don't worry. We'll take care of this."
"You're right," RJ replied, laying back on the bed, "I won't be able to morph until I get my animal spirit back."
"Good luck to everyone!" Flit exclaimed.
"Thanks, motor mouth," James stated him before he and the others left RJ in the room with Flit and his father.

"Armor of Strata! Dao Inochi!"
"Armor of Halo! Dao Chi!"
"Armor of the Eliminator! Dao Chin!"
"Jungle Beast Spirit Unleashed!"
Ryo, Rowen, Mia, Sage, Hana, James, Casey, Lily and Theo all powered up before meeting up with Rekino, Cye, Amaya, Kento, Josephine and Dominic at the battle where they nearly got hammered.
"What took you so long?" Rekino asked.
"Better late than never," Ryo quipped before launching his surekill attack, "Flare Up Now!"
"My turn!" James exclaimed before launching his attack, "Power Sword Strike!"
"Arrow Shock Wave!"
"Eight Way Storm!"
"Thunder Bolt Cut!"
"Sunspot Fury!"
The attacks defeated the Rinshi but not the three soldiers, albeit, they had a few injuries from the blow of the attacks.
"Spirit of the Tiger!"
"Spirit of the Cheetah!"
"Spirit of the Jaguar!"
"Spirit of the Rhino!"
The attacks defeated Nathan but Geneva and Keith both still had fight in them.
"Nathan proved to be useless," Geneva scoffed.
"But we can still defeat them," Keith looked up.
"Let's do this."
"Spirit of the Venomous Python!"
"Spirit of the Mighty Dragon!"
The attacks knocked down the four rangers.
"Where are Jarrod and Camille?" Dominic asked, "And Jillian for that matter?"
"Jillian is blaming herself for what happened to RJ," Casey answered, "Jarrod said that he and Camille wanted to stay at the hospital to have an assuring talk with Jillian."
"You may have defeated some rangers," Ryo glanced at the two remaining warriors, "but can you take on some Ronin Warriors?"
"And Lady Ronin Guardians for that matter?" Rekino added.
At first, the Ronins and Guardians managed to hold strong against Keith and Geneva but then the two ended up getting the upper hand against the Ronins and Guardians and they used their animal spirits to knock them down to the ground as well.
"Is that the best you got?" Keith sneered.
"Looks like you are done," Geneva added.
"We're not done yet!" Ryo replied as he started to stand up.
"He's right about that!"
A streak of pink energy hit both Keith and Geneva and knocked them down to the ground.
"What?!" Geneva exclaimed in shock.
"What's this?!" Keith added.
"Jillian?" Casey looked confused at first.
The group looked to see a pink ranger, but it wasn't Jillian, but another pink ranger.
"Is she who I think she is?!" James exclaimed in surprise.
"And she's not alone either!"
A ranger in green walked over next to the pink ranger.
"What is going on here?!" Kento exclaimed, dumbfounded.
"That's what I wanna know," Rekino muttered.
"It's the original pink ranger," James told the others, "and the original green ranger!"
