Chapter Nineteen

"Well," Master Finn told the group, "the doctors said it wasn't serious."

"They're going to release me at the end of the day," RJ added, "but I'm told to take it easy because the fall was pretty brutal."

"That it was," Casey replied, "they said it was a minor concussion."

"Still it was a scare," Lily stated, "of everything we went through with Dai Shi, the Bandora Protocol, and now the Dark Elite, this was the worst."

"Please, let's not mention the Bandora Protocol," Dominic groaned.

"Tommy and I were affected by that too!" Kimberly exclaimed.

"Where are the Ronins and Guardians?" Fran asked.

"They're keeping watch in town in case the Dark Elite decides to attack again," Theo answered.

"That's a good idea," Jarrod replied.

"We should join them, Jarrod," Camille suggested. Jarrod nodded before the two proceeded to leave the room.

"That reminds me," Casey spoke up as he faced Tommy and Kimberly, "You two are Jillian's parents?"

"Yes," Kimberly nodded, "that would be us."

"It's quite a story if you ask me," Tommy added.

"It started some time after I left for Florida," Kimberly explained, "a situation happened and the next thing I knew, I was pregnant with Jillian. There was only two people I ever slept with: Tommy and a guy that attacked me, which upended my chances at Pan Globals, which was why I made that letter to Tommy because I was scared to tell what happened that night."

"And when I found out the truth behind the letter," Tommy added, "I was surprised, but I understood why she did what she did."

Jillian looked around as she could tell her mother was uncomfortable talking about the situation, and the others were in surprise by this.

"So, what happened?" Twyla asked.

"Tommy knew about Jillian when she was seven," Kimberly explained, "but we didn't know who the father was at the time, so I asked for a paternity test."

"And lo and behold," Tommy added, "I was revealed to be Jillian's father."

"That's good that you found out the truth," Master Finn replied.

"I agree," Kimberly smiled, "things happen for a reason, and I'm still doing gymnastics, but not the Pan Globals like I wanted."

"We're sorry for what happened to you," RJ frowned, showing sympathy for the original pink ranger.

"Thanks." Kimberly looked at the Wolf Ranger as she could see it in his face that he went through something similar, but was not aware of what it was.

"You'll see more of our friends shortly," Tommy told the rangers, "they'll be of help to us in this fight against the Dark Elite."

"RJ is going to be released this evening?" Rekino asked.

"Yes," Jarrod answered, "but he has to take it easy."

"I agree," Camille added, "especially since he doesn't have his wolf spirit."

"I a hundred percent agree!" James exclaimed, "RJ has to take it easy until he gets his wolf spirit back!"

"We're going to get more help," Jarrod informed the group, "I can tell Tommy and Kimberly have more of their rangers friends. We're going to need their help."

"You got that right!"

The group looked to see a scorpion looking monster facing the group, "Now, which one of you is Jillian?"

"Who wants to know?" James asked.

"Mistress Kartras wants a word with the traitor!" the scorpion monster answered.

"That's not going to happen scorpion head!" Ryo replied.

-Through-Dangerous-Times-

Casey looked outside the window, seeing the danger outside, "Looks like one of the Dark Elite's monsters is here."

"Go get them, rangers," RJ told the group before the active rangers hurried out of the room, including Jillian.

Moments later, the group met up with the Ronins, Guardians, Jarrod and Camille. Seconds later, two rinshi grabbed Jillian and held her next to the scorpion monster.

"That is more like it!" the monster exclaimed, pleased with the outcome.

"Jillian!" Kimberly exclaimed in shock.

"Let her go!" Tommy demanded.

"Not a chance," the scorpion monster replied, "Mistress Kartras wants a word with the pink ranger."

"Let's power up!" Casey told the group.

"It's morphin time!" Tommy and Kimberly powered up.

"Dragon Zord!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Jungle Beast Spirits Unleashed!" Casey, Lily, Theo and Dominic powered up.

"Spirit of the Mighty Lion!"

"Spirit of the Chameleon!"

"With the strength of a tiger, Jungle Fury Red Ranger!"

"With the stealth of a jaguar, Jungle Fury Blue Ranger!"

"With the speed of a cheetah, Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger!"

"With the power of a rhino, Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger!"

"With the power of a mighty lion!"

"With the cunning of a chameleon!"

"Mighty Morphin Green Ranger!"

"Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger!"

"Ryo of the Wildfire!"

"Lady Wildfire!"

"Rowen of the Strata!"

"Lady Strata!"

"Sage of the Halo!"

"Lady Halo!"

"Cye of the Torrent!"

"Lady Torrent!"

"Kento of the Hardrock!"

"James Ferino, Armor of the Eliminator!"

"Is that role call really necessary?" the scorpion monster asked.

"Oh, shut up and fight us!" Dominic exclaimed.

The group fought against the scorpion monster and the army of rinshi.

"So," Geneva stated, "we have our word cut out for us with these rangers and soldiers!"

"Flare Up Now!"

"Tornado Fire Flare!"

"Energy Claws Deploy!"

"Call to the beast inside – free the Tiger!"

With help from Casey's tiger spirit, the surekill attacks from Ryo, Rekino and James wiped out the rinshi in their path.

"Arrow Shock Wave!"

"Eight Way Storm!"

"Thunderbolt Cut!"

"Sunspot Fury!"

"Call to the beast inside – bring out the Cheetah!"

With help from Lily's cheetah spirit, the surekill attacks from Rowen, Mia, Sage, and Hana wiped out all of the rinshi that were in their path.

"Super Wave Smasher!"

"Deep Fathom Sphere!"

"Iron Rock Crusher!"

"Iron Stone Kinesis!"

"Call to the beast inside – unleash the Jaguar!"

With help from Theo's jaguar spirit, the surekill attacks from Cye, Amaya, Kento and Josephine wiped out the rinshi that were in their path.

Dominic helped Kimberly and Tommy with their group of rinshi. Kimberly used her power bo to wipe out her opponents. Tommy managed to defeat his group of rinshi. He and Kimberly blocked the scorpion monster from going any further.

"That's far enough!" Tommy exclaimed, "You release our daughter this instant!"

The rangers, Ronins and Guardians managed to surround the scorpion monster. Jillian stepped on the monster's toe before kicking it and then joining her parents to safety.

"Good work, Jillian." Kimberly hugged her daughter in relief.

"Thank goodness you're safe," Tommy added, joining his wife and daughter in the hug.

"No fair!" the scorpion monster whined, "I was so close!"

"Head back in the hospital with RJ and the others," Casey told Jillian before she hurried back to the hospital to head to where RJ's room.

Dark energy appeared from the sky and then the scorpion monster grew giant sized.

"Aw man," Kento whined, "we can't fight him being that big!"

"But we can," Casey replied as he, Lily, Dominic and Theo stepped forward.

"Animal Spirits Unite! Jungle Pride Megazord!"

"Rhino Warrior Mode!"

Tommy and Kimberly looked up as Casey, Lily, Theo and Dominic were all in their megazords.

"Too bad we don't have the others to show them our megazord," Kimberly stated.

The two megazords managed to defeat the giant scorpion monster and then Casey, Lily, Theo and Dominic met up with the Ronins, Guardians, Tommy and Kimberly.

"That was a job well done, Jungle Fury Rangers," Tommy told the Jungle Fury Rangers.

"If RJ had his wolf spirit," Casey replied, "you'd see all of us in action."

"He'll be back in action soon enough," James assured the tiger master.

"And the others will be here soon enough," Tommy added.
