Kin had been thinking about the Haou taking over Jaden's body incident a week ago and how things have gotten pretty awkward with Jaden since then she really wants to make up with Jaden but she's become quite nervous to approach him
Jaden has been hanging out with Jesse and Syrus for the week and all he's been talking about is the awkward atmosphere between him and Kin which was really getting on Jesse's nerves
"Alright I've had it..." Jesse said standing up from the seat he was sitting in and smacking his hands on the table startling both Jaden and Syrus "what's wrong Jesse" Jaden said confused
Syrus had a pretty clear idea of what Jesse was going to say "I'm sick and tired of hearing you going on and on about your supposed crush on the princess and it's making me go crazy Jaden" Jesse said feeling annoyed
"Do I talk about her that much" Jaden said nervously "you talk about her all the time like your lovestruck" Syrus said making Jesse scoff "more like a lovesick fool who doesn't even have the guts to confess his feelings to her like a man" Jesse said crossing his arms
Syrus saw Kin walk in to see what the commotion was and then he caught onto Jesse's plan and Jaden stood up "what do you mean I'm not a man huh" Jaden said feeling a little annoyed at that remark
"You know what I mean, your too chicken to confess your feelings to Kin because you don't know how she feels and your afraid of getting rejected" Jesse said making Kin freeze up at hearing this 'Jaden likes me' Kin thought to herself blushing immensely
"Well..." Jaden was at a loss he was totally afraid of being rejected by Kin he would be heartbroken if she rejected him which was why he hasn't confessed to her for fear that she didn't feel the same way
"Well how else am I supposed to approach her...I can't just go up to her and say, I've loved you since the first moment I saw you will you be my girlfriend...I just can't" Jaden said as Jesse and Syrus smirked seeing Kin right behind Jaden blushing
"I can't tell her that it would be...um...why are you guys looking at me like that" Jaden said feeling a bit nervous at the smirks from Jesse and Syrus "you sure about that pal" Jesse said pointing behind Jaden
Jaden had a feeling then turned around to see Kin behind him making him jump startled "Kin you were here, when did you...I didn't hear you come into the room" Jaden said speaking quickly and nervously
"Is it true" Kin said making Jaden stop talking "huh!?" Jaden hummed in confusion Kin blushed and looked away flustered "is it true you were afraid I was going to reject you" Kin said sadly
Jaden froze on the spot seeing Kin sound sad "w.w.wait please don't cry" Jaden panicked trying to get her to calm down "I'm not crying it just makes me sad that you don't have the confidence to go up to me and say you love me to my face" Kin said
Jaden blushed and covered his face rubbing it a few times then decided to man up "well...it is true" Jaden said blushing making Kin look at him "I love you Kin...I really do" Jaden said flustered Kin smiled "is that so then you don't mind if I do this" Kin said
Kin reached out towards him "do wha...mph" Kin pressed her lips against his stopping Jaden's words abruptly as Jaden slowly got used to the kiss and kissed back with a smile on his face
This of course made Jesse and Syrus clap at the couple who were now officially together "finally that took longer that it should have" Syrus said in relief "you said it I was getting worried they'd never get together" Jesse said
This made Jaden and Kin break from the kiss and looked at the duo "hold on...you guys planned this the whole time" Jaden said shocked "duh" Jesse and Syrus said in unison
"You guys are obviously attracted to each other" Syrus said with a nod "but you both were too oblivious to see your obvious attraction so we thought we'd help get you guys to open your feelings towards each other" Jesse said crossing his arms with a nod
"You guys...argued with me on purpose" Jaden said eye twitching "you have to admit it was pretty clever of them to do this...certainly caught me off guard" Kin said blushing immensely as she leaned against Jaden's shoulder
"You guys are sneaky" Jaden said pointing a finger at Jesse and Syrus "well can you blame us for wanting to get you both together" Syrus said "it really was getting annoying that you wouldn't talk to her so I knew it was the perfect plan" Jesse said
Jaden sighed but chuckled "well I guess you were right...I suppose I did man up right when it counted" Jaden said as he pulled Kin into a hug while both Jesse and Syrus nod with a happy expression on their faces
