Chapter 4: Xana's First Steps
Xana was playing with the slugs and pets inside the hideout, crawling around and following them everywhere. Just then, she tried standing up, but needed something to support herself. Bella and the slugs helped support her. And with their help, Xana started learning to walk.
Meanwhile, while the Shane Gang was doing their own business. Will was sitting on the couch, reading the news alerts on Slugterra. He looked up and saw Xana trying to walk towards him, making him gasp in surprise. "ELIZA! ELI! HARLEY! EVERYONE! YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!" He called. "What is it, Will?" Eliza asked as she came running in. "What's wrong, Dad? What's going on?" Eli asked as he and the others came running. "It's Xana! She's walking!" Will exclaimed happily. The Shane Gang gasped as they saw Xana walking. "I don't believe it." Trixie whispered happily as she recorded Xana with her camera.
Xana finally reached her daddy before she started to topple over. But Will caught her and lifted her up with joy as the others gathered around. "We're so proud of you, Xana." Eliza said with a proud smile. "You've taken your first steps." Harley said. "And I got it all on video." Trixie said, holding up her camera. "Next thing you'd know, she'll probably start talking soon." Pronto said. "Let's hope so. This little Shane's got a bright future ahead of her. I know it." Eli said.
