Chapter 10: To Caverna Mall
The Shane Gang brought Xana to Caverna Mall on her stroller. Xana giggled happily as she was brought into the mall for the first time. "I know, Xana. It's your first time in Caverna Mall and I promise that it'll be the best time you'll ever have." Eli assured.
"Hey, Shane Gang, how wonderful to see you." Millard greeted as he, Shorty, Goggles and the other security slingers walked up to the gang. "Millard, Shorty, Goggles, it's good to see you again." Harley said. "Aw! And this must be the new baby sister everyone's been hearing about." Shorty said. "She's so adorable." Goggles said, waving his fingers in front of Xana as she giggled. "That's right. This is our little sister, Xantara, named after our dearly departed grandmother. Xana for short." Eli introduced.
Suddenly, there was a crash in the mall. Everyone turned around and saw everyone running away from a very angry rogue slinger. "Hey, what's the story here?" Millard demanded. "SHUT UP! Everything in the mall belongs to me and me alone!" The rogue exclaimed angrily. "Oh, now we have to disagree with you on that one." Eli said. "You're going down, brute." Harley said. "No one tells me what to do! NO ONE!" The rogue exclaimed as he brought out a blaster. "Shane Gang, care to aid us with this lowlife?" Millard asked. "Anytime." Eli said. "Uh, could you guards keep my daughter safe please?" Eliza asked. "But of course, Mrs. Shane." One of the guards said. The guards circled around Xana as the gang started slinging their slugs at the angry rogue. Xana watched her brothers, parents and friends fight in awe. Slugs flying through the air as they were being slung.
After a while of slinging slugs, Eli and Harley managed to bring the rogue down with Burpy and Hestia. "Get off me! Get off me! It's all mine! I had it coming!" The rogue exclaimed angrily as the guards led him away. "Thanks for your help, Shane Gang. Once again, we of Caverna Mall Security owe you in our debt." Millard said as he thanked the gang for their help. "Just doing our duty." Harley said. "In fact, as a reward for your help today, starting today, Caverna Mall will be opening a discount for the Shane Gang." Millard said. The gang was surprised to hear that. "Can you do that?" Trixie asked. "Of course, we can. We owe you guys a lot since you first helped us with Mr. Saturday. So, consider yourselves lucky, because you Shane Gang now have your own discount." Millard explained.
Later, the gang bought a lot of stuff with their discount. They got plenty of new clothes, food and toys for Xana, who was pretty happy. "Have a good day, Shane Gang. Feel free to stop by anytime to use your discount." Millard called as he, Shorty and Goggles waved goodbye as the gang left. The gang waved back before riding their mechas back to the hideout.
