Sakura sighed as she followed behind Yui who was happily talking away as she picked out different items of clothing off the racks. They were currently in a clothing shop just outside the market, the brunette had decided that they should start their shopping spree by searching for some clothes for the pinkette.

"Oh! This dress would look so adorable on you Sakura-chan!"

"Hm?" The four year old looked up at the piece of clothing Yui was holding up.

"Why don't you go and try it on in the dressing room?" Sakura took the dress and as Yui instructed she went inside the dressing room and got changed into the dress.

It was very pretty and Sakura admired the layered skirt. The dress was a pale blue and peeking out at the bottom was some white netting. At the back of the dress there was a big bow that made the clothing look like it had been made for a doll. The emerald eyed girl didn't wear dresses often, not because she didn't like them but because they weren't very practical. If the skirt on the dress was too long it would get dirty and if it was too short the skirt would expose her underwear when she ran. If she put shorts on underneath she would feel uncomfortable and it was really quite a complicated issue.

Most of the time she would wear trousers and on occasion skirts- before you start nagging about how skirts and dresses would share the same problems Sakura found it easier to find skirts that were the right length rather than dresses. The only times she resorted to wearing dresses was on special occasions such as parties or fancy dinners.

As she gazed at herself in the mirror of the dressing room she was pleased when she noticed that the skirt ended just below her knees. She was probably only ever going to wear the dress every now and again since she would have to be especially careful when she had it on. The silk material of the dress would stain easily and it would be a shame to ruin the beautiful piece of clothing.

'We look amazing, cha!'

'Hmm..'

She did one last twirl in the dress before grabbing her clothes and exiting the dressing room. Yui cooed as soon as she saw Sakura and the brunette pulled Sakura over to where a young woman was sitting behind the cash register.

The lady looked up at them, her expression annoyed.

"What?" She spat. Sakura's brows furrowed, this lady seemed to be in a bad mood..

'Outer don't assume that because someone is being mean they are in a bad mood, there is a chance they're just not a nice person, cha!'

'I know that but I'm not the one with all the information on people so I can't know whether or not a complete stranger is in a bad mood or if they're just mean.'

'..Are you trying to tell me something?'

Sakura internally rolled her eyes at her Inner's obliviousness.

"Konnichiwa! Can we buy these clothes please?" Yui placed the clothes in her arms on the counter. "We would also like the dress Sakura-chan here is wearing. Oh, Sakura-chan I think you should probably go and get changed into your clothes so we can put that dress in a bag ok?" The small pinkette nodded her head before disappearing back into the dressing room.

Five minutes later she reappeared by Yui's side, dressed in her clothes with the blue dress in hand. She placed the silk dress on the counter and the lady behind the cash register sighed deeply.

Once they had paid for the clothes and plopped them in a bag they left the shop.

"You could where that dress on your birthday!" The brunette said with a smile.

"Hmm, maybe.."

They spent another hour shopping and purchased some more clothes and a few bottles of shampoo- Sakura had been running low.

As they were walking through the market Sakura caught the eye of a certain someone whom she had almost forgot existed. She blinked when realisation seemed to hit the person and Inner groaned when the certain someone started to walk over to them. The pinkette looked away from the and started to walk faster, Yui, who was holding her hand sped up alongside her.

"Err, Sakura-chan? Are you alright dear?" The four year old didn't reply, she just continued to march forward with her head bowed.

'We've got to keep going Outer, he's gaining on us! Cha!'

Sakura looked around before pulling Yui into a crowd of people. She wasn't sure why she was making such a big deal out of this but Inner's shouts were causing her to panic slightly. She stopped in her tracks, took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

'Inner, please. You're making me worried, why are we even running away from him?'

'Because he's a creep, cha!' Inner screamed. 'He's an old pervert!'

'...Eh?'

'Cha! Y'know when we first met Shisui?'

'Mhm.'

'I was running away from the Genma guy because he was chasing me! Cha! I mean, what kind of old man chases a young girl?' Sakura sighed.

'Inner.. not to be mean or anything but I think you're overthinking things..' She ignored her Inner's squawks and continued talking- or well thinking. 'You said he's some kind of respectable shinobi right? I'm sure he was just trying to make sure we're safe or something.'

'Hmph!'

"Sakura-chan? Are you alright?" The small pinkette nearly jumped as she was brought out of her thoughts. "How about we go home and I can make you some lemonade.. maybe you're overheating.. it is quite warm today." Yui reached forward and felt the four year old's forehead.

The brunette's brows furrowed as she pulled away. "You don't feel warm to the touch.." She said.

"I-I'm fine Yui-obasan."

"If you say so Sakura-chan.. let's go home now so you can rest, I'm sure you've found today quite tiring."

They set off on their way back and only Inner, from the depths of Sakura's mind noticed the dark pair of eyes watching their backs.

Sakura yawned as she turned to the next page of the book she was reading. She had managed to convince Yui to let her pick up a few books from the library on the way back from the market. Currently she was laying in her bed reading 'Wings of the Shuriken', it wasn't the most educational book but there weren't many books that she hadn't read and she was doing her best to read every single book that entered the library. Yes, it was a big goal but the young pinkette was determined. She had also dreamt of the day she had access to all the sections in the library and that was one of the things that fueled her in her training.

She continued reading the book until she was called down to eat dinner by Yui. The brunette and her husband went home after they finished eating and Sakura made sure everything had been cleared away before returning back to her room to continue reading.

She had nearly finished the book when Inner piped up.

'Outer.. the creepy old man may or may not be outside our house..' The pinkette blinked.

'Nani?'

'The old-'

'I understand that! I just- what do I do?'

'I don't know, you're usually the one with the plan, cha!' The four year old bit her bottom lip as she tried to make sense of the situation. 'Tch, respectable shinobi my butt..'

'Hmm.. so Shinobi-san is a potential stalker.. and it seems as if he is outside my house..' Her brows furrowed. 'You said he's a Tokubetsu Jonin or something right?'

'Hai, cha! I'm pretty sure he specialices in assassination which really helps us in our current predicament.' Inner said sarcastically.

'..' Sakura's poor brain was really struggling with coming up with a plan.

'Outer, Quickly! Cha! He's on our balcony!'

Without any further thinking the rosette reached under her pillow and grabbed a kunai. It probably wouldn't do much against a fully trained ninja with experience on the battlefield but she had been training hard and she hoped she could at least defend herself if it came to it.

The sound of knocking came from her glass door and Sakura's head snapped towards it. Her eyes widened when she saw the shinobi knocking on the glass.

'What the heck, cha!'

'Does he mean us any harm?'

'Does he mean any harm? Outer! He is literally-'

'Inner, does he mean us any harm.'

'.. No..'

'Then stop making such a fuss.' Sakura sent the brown haired ninja a confused look to which he responded with an awkward smile. She sighed before getting out of her bed and moving over to the glass door that led out to a small balcony.

'What are you doing?' Inner screeched.

'I'm letting him inside.'

'Don't do that! Are you crazy? Cha!' The rosette ignored her other half's shouts and slid open the door.
