This is my first Jerry Springer/A Bug's Life fic! Why did I write this? Well, how the ants treated Flik and rejected his inventions, plus the one scene I really hate and refuse to even rewatch (which I won't spoil if you haven't seen A Bug's Life) makes me really furious. Mainly, it's the council and Atta who are the main gear grinders. No one ever realizes that it was them who lied to Flik first. Plus, Atta didn't even think about the bond he and her sister, Dot shared. And the queen's not innocent either. Yes, I know Mike and Angela are humans who are confronting ants, but I didn't want to make the ants their natural size because it would defeat the purpose of this story and Jerry Springer if they were. Have *you* ever wanted to confront them on Jerry Springer? Well, this fic will solve that. Plus, I felt like Manny and Gypsy would be good security along with Elliot Stabler, so why not? And yes, some audience members will get their Jerry beads during the comments chapter. This fic takes place after Ch. 1 and 2 of A Bug's Life: The Ant Queen. Go check it out! Big thanks/shoutout to He Who See's AKA VunderGuy123 for helping me write this! He wrote the beginning part to give out the vibe of someone watching TV in case you're wondering. P.S. I will create a poll on whether or not Cornelius should be in this.**
**For those of you who have not seen A Bug's Life, read FireAntKing2311's fic or watched Jerry Springer, I recommend you do before reading this fic. Episode I'd recommend would be Fools in Love.**
**A Bug's Life characters belong to Disney/Pixar**
**Jerry Springer/Elliot Stabler belong to NBCUniversal.**
**Mike and Angela belong to me.**

Somewhere, somewhen, a lone, nondescript television in a lone nondescript house watched by lone nondescript people turns on at the push of a button. After a couple minutes of irksome channel surfing as the one controlling the remote control tries in vain to remember just what channel it's on, the picture stops exactly on the show being searched for.
An oldie, but a goodie, that through some stroke of genius usually absent from the minds of the average TV exec, has remained stable on the airwaves for nearly fourteen years by this point in the year of our lord, 2005. Well before people had even conceived of the flip phone proliferation even now nominating people's lives since the late 90's.
The Jerry Springer Show.
Tonight's episode begins as they ever do with the usual catchy talk show theme song, the 'Jerry' chant, and a disclaimer on a sign hanging on an electric fence reading, 'WARNING: The Jerry Springer Show may contain adult themes or strong language. Parents are cautioned that this program may not be suitable for children.'
The sign squeaks as it tilts slightly.
Then, the voice of the announcer begins the program with a, "Ladies and gentlemen…" as thunder booms and lightning flashes as the sign pans up to the flashing neon 'Jerry Springer' sign, slowly zooming in. "No Golden Globes… No Emmys… No respect…"
The sign explodes with a fire transition, transitioning to the stage as the audience continues to chant.
"But the chicks dig us," the announcer quipped as the head of security, Steve Wilkos, walked out from the left door backstage and saluted with a smile.
"STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE!" cheered the audience.
"Now, amazingly in our 14th season," the announcer continued, "once voted the worst show in the history of television, here's our host: Jerry Springer!"
Upon finishing, the audience went wild as Jerry walked out from the right door backstage and waved to the audience with a smile and started shaking hands with various audience members, exchanging various greetings like:
"Hello."
"Hi."
"Hi, how are you?"
"Hi, nice to see ya."
"Hey, guy."
Etc.
"JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!" chanted the audience as the host continued to greet the audience members and shake their hands as the title of the episode appears; 'Humans vs. Ants.'
As the title disappeared after 7 seconds and Jerry was later standing on the second row of the audience and faced the camera, the audience died down and the theme faded.
"Hey, welcome to the show!" said the host with excitement. "Now, before we get started with the show, I wanna introduce our guest security. Matter of fact, 3 guest securities." Jerry emphasized as he held up 3 fingers. "Our first one is an SVU detective of the NYPD. Please welcome Elliot Stabler to the show!"
The audience applauded as Stabler emerged from the left door with a smile and wave.
"Hey, Jerry," greeted the detective as he shook the host's hand.
"Hi, nice to have you here," Jerry greeted back with a smile as he shook Stabler's hand. The detective then went over to Steve, shook his hand and sat down next to him.
"And our next 2 guest securities are a married couple who are circus bugs that came all the way from Bug City, please welcome Gypsy and Manny to the show!"
The audience cheered as Gypsy, a female gypsy moth with a colorful pattern on either side of her wings, and her husband Manny, a male praying mantis, emerged from the right door with a smile and wave. They then walked up to Jerry and each shook his hand as the audience quieted down.
"Hi, Jerry," Gypsy greeted for herself and her spouse.
"Hi, nice to see you," the host greeted back.
Gypsy and Manny then went over to Steve and Stabler, the couple shaking their hands, then sitting down next to them.
"Now, my guests today say they and their friend have been wronged one too many times," stated Jerry. "Please welcome Mike and Angela to the show!"
The audience erupted into applause as two humans, Mike and his girlfriend Angela, walked out from the left door and both sat in a chair in the middle of the stage, the audience silencing themselves.
"Nice to have you two on the show," Jerry greeted the two guests.
"Hey, Jerry," Mike greeted back.
"So, what's going on?" the host asked.
"Well, first off, Jerry, we just wanna say we're big fans of you, watch you every chance we get," Angela complimented.
That made the audience erupt into a round of applause. Both Angela and Mike nodded their heads and smiled in appreciation of the audience's response.
The audience then quiets down as Jerry walked over to the corner of the stage and stood next to the human couple.
"Well, I'm glad you watch," said the host, clearly grateful for the compliment. "So, why are you here, what's the issue?"
"Well, me and my girl here are here to confront some backstabbing, mistreating ants who drove our friend away," Mike answered.
Jerry tilted his head as he looks at both of them with a curious expression before asking,
"What did they do exactly?"
"Well, for starters, they treated my bro like garbage for the past…" Mike paused for a second, as it was clearly hard to describe how long his friend was mistreated. "Can't say how long."
"It's true!" Angela added as she nodded. "The ants have always viewed our hardworking friend, Flik, as nothing more than a worthless insect who can't do anything right. And they're always putting him down and insulting him and making him feel worthless."
"What does this friend of yours do for a living?" asked Jerry.
"Uhh, he's an inventor," Mike answered
Jerry seemed quite intrigued by this new information, looking pensively to the side with an index finger on a temple. He turned his focus back to the couple and asked his next question.
"So what did he invent exactly?"
"One perfect example is the harvester," replied Angela.
Jerry nodded at her response. "The harvester? Is it created to harvest and collect food from the field to feed the entire colony?"
Mike replies, "Basically, yeah. And to speed up time for collecting."
Jerry seemed completely blown away by this response as the audience erupted into awe and applause for a moment then quieted down.
"Well, if that can't make things cheaper, faster, and overall better for everyone there, I dunno what will," the host quipped.
That made the audience chuckle, along with Mike and Angela.
Jerry's face hardened a little and he asked his next question with a bit more seriousness. "So, why has he been treated like trash if he's been doing so much for the colony?"
"Well, his inventions tend to have a habit of backfiring catastrophically or he himself sometimes unintentionally makes things worse," answered Angela. "But the thing is, he's only trying to help and make a difference. A positive difference. He really does mean really well."
Jerry nodded. "Well, it's good that he really means really well. If not, from the sound of it, they'd surely be calling him a madman instead," he quipped.
The audience and human couple chuckled at Jerry's remark, which was a bit insensitive, but was true in a way. The ant colony would most certainly regard Flik as a complete lunatic if he harbored and displayed malicious intent with the high rate of failure being discussed.
"Yeah, you're right about that," Mike chortled.
Jerry chuckled along with their reaction, as he continued to ask his next question. "So what did the colony do to send him away in the first place?"
Mike answered, "Well, it's a long story."
"Do tell," said Jerry.
"It starts off like this," Mike began. "After the whole offering stone incident, during my bestie's trial, he came up with an idea to find warriors. The princess and the council allowed him, but it was really just so he'd be out of the way and wouldn't screw anything up."
Angela nodded in agreement. "Exactly. The ants never cared about his well-being or how his feelings were affected by the way they treated him. They were just using him to get rid of a problem."
"What was the offering stone incident, what happened?" questioned Jerry.
"Well, my bro accidentally destroyed the annual offering that the ants were collecting to appease the grasshoppers with his harvester," answered Mike. "But it was an accident. Like me and Angela here have said, we know he doesn't mean to do stuff like that. All he wants to do is help and make a difference."
The host nodded, then asked, "So why couldn't the ants forgive him?"
"That's just it," Angela sighed. "The ants wouldn't forgive him for his simple mistake. They wouldn't give him any chance to redeem himself. They just wrote him off completely without any sympathy or understanding…"
"Ohhh…" went the audience.
"How did you meet him? And the colony?" inquired Jerry.
Mike then replied, "Well, I wasn't born a part of the colony. I was adopted by them when I was a kid. And I first met Flik around that time when I was exploring the ant hill. We immediately became close friends and have been through a lot together since then."
"Hard to believe humans could be friends with ants," joked Jerry.
"At least," Mike chuckled, along with Angela and the audience.
"But there's this cute kid named Dot. She's the princess's sister," continued Mike, "and she's the only one who understands my bro, just like me and my girl."
"Yes. Dot and Flik are so innocent and pure. They were like siblings almost," Angela agreed. "They both see the best in each other, and they have such a strong bond, too."
"He's also like a brother to me," replied Mike.
"So are there any ants in particular that push him away?" asked the host.
"Well, there's the so-called Colony Council we mentioned earlier who constantly rejected his inventions that could've benefited everybody, and it's just really starting to boil my blood," the male human answered.
"Yeah, the colony council has just been completely unfair to Flik every step of the way, never giving him a fair chance," Angela added. "You'd think that being such a small, vulnerable colony, they'd want to welcome in innovative minds and listen to good ideas for a more prosperous future. Instead, they just treated him like a nuisance and constantly put him down."
Jerry raised his eyebrows in fascination when he heard that Mike was so furious at the way the Colony Council treated Flik and how they continued to reject his inventions. The audience made a sound of disapproval as Jerry tried to understand why the ants were so ignorant to a member of their colony who was trying to do good.
"Who is this Colony Council?"
"Well, there's 4 members," replied Mike. "There's the colony's doctor, Dr. Flora. Then there's the schoolteacher and resident thespian, Mr. Soil."
"What school does he teach?" inquired Jerry.
"South Tunnel Elementary," replied Angela.
"Ohh…" said Jerry with fascination. "Well, coming from you two, I wouldn't ever take my kids there," the host joked.
The audience, along with the human couple, chuckled at Jerry's remark.
"Yeah, you'd hate him in a New York minute," chuckled Mike.
The chuckles eventually quieted down.
"Alright, continue," said Jerry.
"Then there's the short, easily tempered ant, Thorny, and the old wrinkly prune with the walking stick, Cornelius, who are really quick to put Flik down and mistreat him," continued Mike. "Not to mention there's also the princess."
Angela rolled her eyes as she recalled the princess being one of the ants that mistreated Flik, and she couldn't help but shake her head in disapproval at the way she had treated him.
"Yeah, the princess, Atta, she's been quite cruel to Flik as well," she said with such disdain. "She's always made him feel inferior and worthless as a member of the colony, which is just totally unfair."
Angela's expression changed to one of annoyance as she thought about the way the princess had treated Flik, and she was glad that she, Mike, and Dot were able to be there for him in a way that the other ants weren't.
"So is this all that happened?" asked Jerry.
"Well, it gets worse…" said Mike with sentimentality.
The audience and Jerry made a sound of intriguement and sadness.
"That's never good…" said the host.
"So, during the subsequent celebration, they found out that my friend found circus bugs instead of warriors... Thanks to that flea… His name is P.T. Flea, he runs the circus, and we happen to be friends with the ones you have as security." Mike then friendly pointed at Gypsy and Manny as the audience chuckled and applauded for a moment. Gypsy and Manny waved at Mike and Angela with a smile.
"Well, we found the right people for guest security," quipped Jerry.
The audience chuckled for a moment then quieted down.
"So what happened after they found out?"
"As punishment for deceiving the colony, the princess foolishly banished our friend," Mike replied.
"Ohhh…" said the host as Angela's expression changed to one of anger as she recalled the fact that the princess had unjustly banished Flik from the colony. She didn't think it was fair that he had received such harsh treatment for a simple mistake. The audience was clearly shocked by this revelation, as they made sounds of disapproval, sympathy, disappointment, and disbelief.
"That's just it," the female human said. "The ants have no regard for Flik. It's like they see him as a disposable insect. They could have just spoken with Flik calmly and asked him about the mistake instead of coming down hard on him and unfairly punishing him like they did. It's so inhumane."
Angela felt disgusted by the way the ant colony treated their fellow members. It truly was inhumane and unfair the way they handled the situation. She couldn't believe that they wouldn't even take the time to hear Flik out and give him a chance to explain himself. The audience agreed with her as they made sounds of pity for Flik.
"And I was completely broken," continued Mike. "And I saw Dot trying to run after him, but her mother, the queen, stopped her. And her sister, the princess never cared about how they felt, or how even we felt. And they knew how much we cared for him."
"Yes... that one part was the worst," Angela agreed as she nodded. "The queen stopped Dot from going after Flik. You could tell how much she cared about him, too. But her mother just tore her away from her best friend, as if she didn't even matter. It was so unfair and cruel."
Angela scoffed at the fact that the queen had refused to allow Dot to follow after Flik. She saw how much her and Mike cared for their friend, and to keep them from getting closure with him was completely unfair. The audience once again agreed with their sentiment as they began to grow angrier at the ant colony's behavior.
"So what happened after that?" Jerry asked.
Mike then replied, "After the last leaf fell, the grasshoppers took over. They should've given my bro a chance to prove the fake bird we worked so hard to build would work. Instead, they let this happen."
Angela nodded while she became more frustrated. "Exactly. They didn't even give him a chance to explain or prove himself. The colony really had it coming when the grasshoppers took over. It was all their fault."
It made sense to Jerry that the ant colony's poor treatment of Flik and the princess banishing him for lying had ultimately caused their downfall at the hands of the grasshoppers and caused their leader Hopper to almost squish the queen. He couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief, as the situation that the colony found themselves in was certainly a result of their own doing. The audience seemed shocked by the whole situation, but they were still willing to listen to see what happened next.
"And... last, but not least... or happily…" Mike sighed. "After the grasshoppers' defeat… and Hopper's death... The princess told Flik the truth about why she sent my bro off to find warriors in the first place... And... that infuriated him... and…" Mike paused for a second and sighed before finishing his sentence. "He abandoned the colony…"
The audience made sounds of shock, as they were appalled by how the ants' constant mistreatment of Flik drove him to abandon the colony.
"Exactly," Angela added. "The princess finally told him the truth about why they sent him away. It wasn't to find warriors like they had told him. It was actually just to get rid of him because they didn't like him and saw him as a nuisance."
Angela had mixed emotions about the princess finally spilling the truth to Flik, as she was glad that he was at least able to receive closure but was also angry that they would have such malicious intentions towards him. The audience was just as shocked and appalled by the revelation, and they were clearly furious at the fact that the ant colony had mistreated their fellow member so cruelly.
Jerry then asked, "And that made you two upset?"
"More than that, Jerry," replied Mike as he and Angela nodded their heads as they shared their response to Jerry's question. It was more than just being upset, as they were devastated at how cruel and unjust the ant colony had been towards Flik. He never deserved the treatment that he had received and it was disheartening to see him be pushed out in such a way.
"It made us both incredibly upset, especially him. It shattered his heart completely…" added Angela.
"And ours. And Dot's."
Angela nodded in agreement. "Dot was just devastated. She really cared about Flik. I could tell that when she tried to run after him, she wanted to be with him and go with him."
"I can only imagine how she took the news that he abandoned the colony. And towards her older sister," said Jerry sympathetically.
"Yeah, she was really angry at her…" Mike sighed. "Told her it was her fault and she hated her…"
Angela felt bad for Dot that she had such strong feelings of anger towards her older sister after the news of Flik abandoning the colony. She could imagine just how devastating it must have been for the young ant to learn that Flik was gone and that her sister had played a big part in that. The audience began to grow more sympathetic towards Dot and her feelings of anger as they continued listening.
"That just proves that the princess and the whole colony just didn't understand the bond that Dot and Flik shared. They always thought it was just a "little child's thing", not a huge bond that meant the world to her." she said.
"Now, she and the ants did feel bad after he left, and the queen did say she was disappointed in her after she heard the truth, but that's not enough. The queen also may have been the only kind one to Flik, but she's not very innocent in all this," Mike said.
Angela sighed as she listened to her boyfriend's thoughts about the situation. It was certainly unfortunate that the ant colony had failed to realize how deep the bond was between Dot and Flik. It made a lot of sense why they would have been so angry and devastated to learn that he had abandoned them, especially since he had been so much to them. Jerry nodded his head as he acknowledged the queen's wrongdoing, but he remained silent as the audience continued listening to their story.
"Yes, the queen may have been all kind and caring to Flik and finally said that she was disappointed in her daughter, but she should've done more than just speak a few words to her. I understand that parenting is a hard task, but she should've given her daughter a much bigger lecture on accepting others and being more caring to avoid this whole disaster happening in the first place. And she should've listened to Flik's side of the story instead of letting her daughter just banish him." Angela said. "Plus, the princess is no different when it comes to screwing things up, mainly because of her nervousness of being the next queen, which is a complete wonder how she's next in line and how she can become queen when she treats Flik like a nuisance and constantly rejects his inventions. Besides, she's the one who lied to him first by sending him on that quest just to get rid of him, and then banished him for lying to the colony without giving him a chance to explain himself, not caring what would happen to him out there or how he felt, wishing he just died, and hurting her little sister, and us. Yes, Flik may have lied about the circus bugs, but they were desperate. Not malicious lies."
"And you're basically here to confront them?" Jerry asked.
"That's right," Mike answered
"Alright."
The human couple both nodded their heads as they realized that it was time to confront the whole ordeal and to share their sentiments with the ant colony. The entire time they had spent talking about their experience with them had built up a load of mixed emotions and they were finally ready to express themselves to the ants. As the audience applauded them and their bravery, Jerry simply smiled and nodded in acknowledgment.
The applause then died down as Jerry looked at his card. "Alright, well, I'll let you two talk to them. First, let's bring out Dr. Flora. Here's Dr. Flora."
As Mike and Angela stood up and Jerry walked to the corner of the stage, Steve, Stabler, Gypsy, and Manny walked onto the middle of the stage and set the chairs aside. The human couple watched as Dr. Flora emerged from the right door with a look of guilt and remorse and appeared on the stage, and she was immediately met with boos from the audience. It was obvious that she was not a well liked individual, as many people felt that she was cruel and insensitive towards Flik. She had a lot of making up to do and the audience was definitely going to hold her accountable for her actions. The booing died down as Angela slipped off her shoes as she glared at Dr. Flora with anger and hatred.
"I've been friends with him since day 1! Why?!" chided Mike.
"How could you do this to us?!" the angry Angela said to the guilty ant doctor as she started fighting her, throwing punches, slaps, and hits.
The audience started cheering loudly as security tried to separate them. Despite Steve, Stabler, Manny, and Gypsy's best efforts, it was very difficult to pull the two women apart as they both fought with equal vigor. The cheering got louder as Angela continued physically fighting the doctor, and the audience seemed to be quite entertained by the confrontation. They couldn't help but applaud and cheer them on, as Angela's emotions were raw and clear for everyone to see. The security guards worked vigorously to separate her from the doctor, and she was having a hard time containing her rage.
"JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!" chanted the audience as security managed to separate them.
As Gypsy walked Angela to where her boyfriend was standing, the audience quieted down as the human couple glared at Dr. Flora. Security backed off for now, but remained in the middle of the stage, making sure things didn't escalate into physical violence again.
"You have any idea what you put our friend through?!" said Angela in a quite furious tone.
"I'm sorry!" Dr. Flora apologized.
"Oh, now you're sorry?!" said Mike with such hatred and anger. "Do you have any idea how long and hard Flik worked his butt off to perfect an invention that could benefit the colony?!"
"And yet you still rejected his inventions, even though they would've helped so many people!" yelled Angela. "You were so hard on him all the time and you constantly put him down and insulted him over and over again! Why couldn't you just give him the slightest bit of respect, huh?!"
"I... I never imagined how much of an effect my disrespect towards him was having. I always saw him as inferior and a nuisance, but I never imagined how much it was truly hurting his feelings. I'm so sorry for my actions, I truly am," Dr. Flora said with sadness and sympathy.
Mike wasn't having any of her apologies. "It's too late for sorries, so save it!"
It seemed like he was truly not willing to forgive her for the way she had treated Flik, even after her apology. The audience was torn between feeling empathy for Dr. Flora's apology and sympathizing with Mike's anger.
Dr. Flora's eyes started welling up. "I thought I was doing the right thing, I really did! I was just wanting the best for the colony, and I believed Flik would just hinder everything, so I was just making what I thought were right decisions! I never meant to be so rude and inconsiderate towards him!"
"You already were!" said Angela as she engaged in another fight with the ant doctor.
The audience erupted into cheers for a quick moment as the security guards separated the two women quickly, which surprised the audience. They had been anticipating another long, drawn-out fight between them and were surprised that security was able to intervene so rapidly. With both the female human and the doctor now separated, the audience remained silent as they waited to see what would happen next.
After a few seconds of silence, the bell rang 3 times. Angela took immediate offense to the bell and started fighting Dr. Flora again. The audience seemed thrilled to see them continue their physical confrontation, and they grew more excited with each subsequent bell ring. Steve, Stabler, Gypsy, and Manny each attempted to separate the two of them again, but it was proving to be quite difficult since the female human was so angry and set on hurting the doctor.
The audience chanted "Jerry" as Angela grabbed hold of Dr. Flora's antenna and pulled her down to the ground. The security guards struggled even more to get Dr. Flora out of Angela's grasp and pull the two women back up.
"Stand up, stand up!" commanded Stabler.
As the audience cheered, the security guards managed to get the two women back on their feet, but Angela continued to pull on Dr. Flora's antenna.
"Let go, let go, let go!" Gypsy commanded.
The security guards finally managed to pull the two of them apart. Angela was visibly exhausted from the fight, but she was still clearly full of rage as she glared at the doctor with furious eyes. The female human and the doctor both panted heavily as they caught their breath after the fight. The audience quieted down as Steve walked Angela to where her boyfriend was standing.
"Talk. Just talk," Steve said.
"I lost my best friend because of you!" Mike shouted at Dr. Flora. "He abandoned the colony! He abandoned Dot! He abandoned me!"
"He abandoned us!" added Angela.
"I honestly had no idea that my behavior would end up causing all of this. I never meant to drive Flik away. I just believed he would keep making dumb decisions and just be a nuisance. I'm so sorry, I truly am!" said Dr. Flora.
"How can you keep saying you didn't mean to cause this!?" Angela asked in a furious tone.
"And what did you even expect?!" her boyfriend added.
Dr. Flora tried to explain herself. "Honestly, I just expected that my constant criticism would get him to change his methods and stop making mistakes. I never meant for him to actually abandon the colony."
That excuse only triggered Angela's anger more. "He already did!"
Despite Dr. Flora's apology, Angela was unwilling to forgive her and became enraged once again. She started fighting her again, much to the delight of the audience. They cheered loudly as the fight resumed, eager to see this confrontation continue. The security guards once again tried to pull the two women apart, but the female human was too determined and kept lashing out at the ant doctor in a furious rage. She even started kicking.
"Stop kicking, stop kicking!" Stabler commanded as the audience chanted "Jerry" and Manny forced Angela's leg down, as Angela continued fighting Dr. Flora.
The audience's shouts and cheering grew louder as they began to mix in with the whistling, making a loud blend of noise. They were clearly thrilled at the fight and were eagerly cheering on Angela's continued physical attacks. The security guards continued to attempt to pull the two of them apart, but were struggling to contain Angela's ferocity.
Eventually, the two women were finally pulled away from each other, as the security guards had to resort to using more strength to control her. The audience then died down as the two women panted and Manny walked Angela to the side of the stage where Mike was standing.
"Talk to Jerry," Manny said softly.
"Alright," the host spoke up as he turned to Dr. Flora. "Hi, nice to see you."
"Hey, Jerry," she greeted back.
"So, you're the colony's doctor and council member, correct?"
"Yes, that's right," Dr. Flora answered.
"How do you provide care for ants as a doctor?" Jerry inquired.
"I use small pink flowers to squeeze out beads of dew for ants that need it."
"You never heard of penicillin?" quipped Jerry.
The audience chuckled at Jerry's joke.
"I'll bet she didn't, she lives in the colony!" Angela remarked in a contemptuous tone.
The laughter died down as Jerry addressed Dr. Flora wisely, but seriously as he gestured to Mike and Angela.
"So you understand why they're angry?"
"I do," replied Dr. Flora as tears fell from her face as she looked at the human couple. "It was a big mistake to drive Flik away and I'm sorry. I never meant for this to happen–"
Before she finished, Angela started fighting her again as she shouted, "Sorry don't cut it!"
The audience erupted into cheers as security tried to pull them away from each other. They somehow managed to separate the two women quickly, prompting the audience to quiet themselves as Angela shouted, "Sorry don't cut it! I let you ants take me and my man in when we had nowhere else to go! We tell you everything about our lives as kids, how we had no parents in our lives, and lived in a world full of hateful people, and you wanna sit there and cast Flik out and treat him like a nuisance just because his inventions tend to cause accidents all the time and drive him away?!"
"I never meant for it to happen!" Dr. Flora said as desperately as it was apologetically and tearfully.
"It already happened!" the angry female human said as she started fighting her again.
The audience erupted into mixed cheering and whistling as security tried to separate them again. While Gypsy stood between the two women, trying to push them away from each other, Manny, Stabler and Steve each backed her up by trying to pull them away as the bell rang 3 times.
"We'll be back!" Jerry announced as he walked off the stage and the show theme played as the audience continued to cheer. The two women were still giving security a hard time as the audience chanted "Jerry".
After a moment, the screen then transitioned to a teaser of the next segment, which was Mike engaging in a physical fight with Mr. Soil, tackling him to the ground as Steve and Stabler had to use more force on the men. After another moment, the screen faded to black, then started playing commercials.
