Sasuke had finished his food and was begging his mother to let him and 'Sakura-chan' play with his super-awesome new-shinobi-action-figures. Mikoto refused despite the pleading looks he gave her.

"No Sasuke-kun. Sakura-chan is still eating, don't be rude and wait patiently for her to finish before getting down from the table." The young boy pouted and his head lowered as he stared at his lap.

Sakura, meanwhile, chewed happily on her food, savouring the flavour. Mikoto was truly a magnificent cook and Sakura knew that Inner would regret not being awake to taste her food.

"Are we having any dessert?" Shisui asked, eagerly rubbing his hands together as his mind filled with fantasies of different sweets and puddings.

"I believe you will receive a similar response as Sasuke to your question." Itachi eyed the drool leaking out of his cousin's mouth, disgusted.

Sakura ate up the last of her food and leaned back in her seat, sighing as she put a hand on her full belly. She couldn't find it in herself to care that she was in the presence of the prestigious head family of the Uchiha clan. She was so full, yet she still found herself longing to eat more of the dark haired woman's cooking.

'If I lived in this house, I wouldn't be able to stop eating..' Usually, she wasn't the foodie, Inner always took that title out of the two of them but she just couldn't help it! The Uchiha matriarch had to be some sort of food deity, if not then she should apply to be a professional chef.

"Have you finished Sakura-chan?" Said girl's emerald eyes opened at the sound of the female's voice.

The young pinkette sat up and nodded her head. Mikoto smiled and stood up before she went around the table collecting the dirty dishes.

"You can take Sakura-chan to your room now Sasuke-kun." She said.

Before Sakura could stand up from her seat, Sasuke had grabbed her wrist and was dragging her out of the room. They travelled through the hallway before making their way upstairs and entering the duckbutt haired boy's room.

He let go of the pinkette's wrist and rushed over to his bed. Sakura examined the young Uchiha's bedroom, his bed was made neatly from what she could see and the small bookshelf on the opposite end of the room that she was standing in was filled with colourful books, all tidily packed away. The wooden bookshelf was attached to wooden cabinets that had round doorknobs on them which revealed that they could be opened. On top of one of the cabinets was a television and a row of three windows spanned the length of the wooden piece of furniture. The windows had blue curtains tied back to showcase the wonderful view of the dark sky outside.

Sakura hadn't even realised how late it had become. When she arrived at the Uchiha clan compound the sun had still been in the sky, the ball of light had been getting ready to disappear below the horizon though so maybe she really should have seen that coming.

'This means I'll be walking home in the dark then.' She sighed. Sakura knew that it wouldn't be pitch black out there since the streetlights were sure to light up her path home but the shadows would be darker than ever. 'I should probably think of an excuse so that Mikoto-san doesn't make Itachi-san or Shisui-san escort me home..'

Her thoughts were interrupted when Sasuke let out a triumphant yell. She blinked and walked over to him. The dark haired boy turned to face her and shoved a toy in her face causing her to flinch backwards slightly.

"I knew it was here! Look Sakura-chan! Isn't it cool!"

"I'm afraid I can't exactly see it right now, since you have shoved it in my face."

"Oh." The toy moved out of her personal space and she was met with Sasuke's apologetic smile. The dark haired boy had pink dusting his cheeks as he scratched the back of his head using his free hand. "Sorry about that.. I guess I was kind of over-excited.."

"No harm done." Her green eyes moved to the toy still grasped in the boy's hand. "Is this your favourite one?"

"Huh?"

"Earlier you said action figures. Plural. Which means that you have more, right?" The boy blinked before nodding his head.

"Uh-huh, I have a bunch, I even got some new shuriken! They aren't as sharp as Nii-san's though.."

"That's just because they're practice shuriken. We aren't allowed to handle the ones that could actual hurt someone until we're older."

The boy pouted. "Yeah but it's unfair!"

"Just be patient Sasuke-san, in a few years I bet you'll be able to throw a real shuriken at the center of a target without even trying."

"Really?" All the boy's attention was focused on her.

"Yup!" Sakura smiled. Her eyes moved to the toy still in Sasuke's hand and she reached out to grab it. The boy let go and she held the toy up to her face.

She examined it, turning it this way and that way, memorising each detail. It was overall well made. It was an anbu judging by the uniform and the mask he wore to cover his face was able to be taken off. The action figure donned a grey chest plate and a sleeveless dark, turtleneck shirt. On his left shoulder there was a red tattoo and he wore trousers the same colour as his shirt. Bandages were tightly wrapped around his right thigh under where a weapons pouch was. He had dark gloves on that looked to be made from the same material that his shirt and trousers were, the gloves reached just below his shoulders and he had on arm guards that ended at his elbows. Tied around his arm, just before the end of his gloves were bandages, they stopped the gloves from falling down his arms. He also had some kind of dark material tied round his shins, most likely there to keep his trousers from flapping around wildly. On the back of his hands, attached to the dark gloves was a piece of metal, Sakura wasn't sure what its purpose was though. On the anbu's back was a sheath that had a katana in it. The sword was able to come out of the sheath and you were able to put it in the anbu's hand. The anbu had wild, dark hair and pale skin. Sakura removed the male's mask to reveal equally dark eyes and an emotionless expression.

She handed back the toy to Sasuke who took it and looked at her, awaiting her opinion.

"I see why you like it." The emerald eyed girl nodded her head. "Whoever made it is talented."

The young Uchiha grinned before pouncing on her, his arms wrapped around her waist. Not expecting his sudden actions, Sakura fell back onto the ground a small, high-pitched sound coming from her throat.

"I knew you'd like it! It's really cool, isn't it? I mean you can act out a whole war with them! I even have one of the Hokage!" As the boy grew progressively more excited his arms tightened around Sakura's waist. This made the small pinkette extremely uncomfortable, not just because having someone hug you like a teddy bear was kind of embarrassing- and an invasion of personal space-but also because she had just eaten and was incredibly full. It felt as if her tummy was about to burst from the amount of pressure and she patted Sasuke's shoulder, relaxing slightly when his grip loosened.

The boy moved his head to look at her.

"I don't think a war is something to be happy about Sasuke-san.." Said boy pouted at her words.

"You know that's not what I meant! It's just cool how I can do so much with them! I mean, every one of them comes with different weapons and they're all so cool!"

"Right.. do you think you can get off me now?" The boy's face exploded into a bright red colour and he got off the four year old girl. Sakura sighed and stood up, brushing down the seams in her clothes. "Can you show me the rest of the action figures?"

Sasuke grinned.

He guided her towards one of the cabinets and opened the door to reveal multiple action figures standing up. One at a time the boy showed her each of the toys.

"This is the one of the Hokage I was talking about earlier!"

The toy was literally the action figure version of the Hokage. He was dressed in all his robes, sporting the Hokage hat, even his beard was carefully sculpted.

Sasuke put the toy back in its place and picked up another one as Sakura sat down next to him. This action figure was of a genin. She had short, green hair and big, brown eyes. She had mixed skin colour and was reasonably tall. Her outfit consisted of black crop top with pale pink frills at the bottom over a pink sleeveless shirt. The frills from the crop top continued on to form short sleeves whilst her shoulders remained bare. She had a black and white skirt that went down to her mid-thighs. Underneath her skirt she had on white shorts. Her weapons pouch was white and was secured on top of some bandages that were wrapped around her left thigh. She wore black ninja sandals and had on white arm-warmers. The greenette wore her Hitai-ate the normal way. Her pink lips formed a smirk and her expression was overall smug.

"I don't really know what she does but her teammates and sensei are really cool!" Sakura frowned thoughtfully as she took the female action figure from the duckbutt haired boy.

This one was a male and was a genin, most likely one of the green haired female's teammates. He had pale skin and short, dark hair and was around average height. He was wearing a dark blue jacket that had long sleeves which were rolled up above his elbows. Underneath the jacket he donned a fishnet shirt, he also had black shorts on that stopped above his knees. The dark haired boy wore dark ninja sandals and, like his female teammate, wore his Hitai-ate the standard way. His red eyes were blazing and Sakura noticed that he had three, black tomoes in each of his eyes.

"He's an Uchiha, that's why his eyes are red; his sharingan is activated." Sasuke smiled before putting the toy back in its original place. He moved onto the next action figure.

This one was another male and he had shaggy ginger hair that brushed his shoulders. He had warm brown eyes and peach coloured skin, he was much taller than his other two teammates and wore a bright, blue jacket. The jacket had long sleeves and a white zip, it also had a hood that you could put on his head or leave off. The ginger haired male had brown, baggy trousers that were tied down by white bandages. He donned blue ninja sandals and wore his Hitai-ate around his neck. The male held a long sword of which Sakura identified as a Tachi, she also spotted the sheath attached to his trousers via his belt.

Judging by the fact that he had a sword, Sakura guessed that he was a swordsman.

Next came the teams' Sensei. He had tanned skin and silver eyes. He wore the classic Jounin uniform and had bright red hair that was tied into a short ponytail on top of his head. A streak of his hair was brighter than the rest. His expression was stern but Sakura couldn't help but feel as if he was mischievous. The only blemish on his skin was a faint scar on his left cheek bone, it wasn't very noticeable but once you saw it, it became obvious that it was there. The red haired man was clearly good looking, he was slim, muscular and reasonably tall. The male wore his Hitai-ate tied around his left upper arm and in his right hand he was holding three shuriken.

"I got a piece of paper that had some information about each of them on it, but I've forgotten where I put it." The young boy's eyebrows were pulled together into a frown.

"Hm.." Sakura frowned as well. "Do you remember any of it?"

The young Uchiha took a moment to think before he responded.

"Well, it's not much but I know that the Sensei is called Maro Kiyama and the ginger haired boy is Takumi Abiko. The dark haired boy is Hideo Uchiha," Sakura could have sworn she saw the boy puff out his chest proudly. "I can't quite remember the girl's name but I think it was something like Kurumi Kiba?"

'That doesn't sound right.' Her frown deepened.

"They're obviously not real people... I think?" Sasuke scratched his head.

Sakura let out a sigh as her frown relaxed. She examined the female action figure in her hands before raising her gaze to Sasuke's form.

"When did you last see it?" The petal haired girl asked.

"Like.. a few days ago?" Sakura ignored the fact that the boy's response was more of a question and stood up.

"Do you know where you last saw it?"

The boy thought for a moment, his dark eyebrows scrunching up as a crease formed on his forehead. His expression told the young girl that he was trying hard to remember and so Sakura kept quiet to let him focus.

After a few moments it was as if a lightbulb lit up above the boy's head and Sakura met his sparkling onyx eyes.

"I put it on the table downstairs." He grinned.

"Then let's go and see if we can find it."

The two exited the boy's room and made their way downstairs. Sakura allowed Sasuke to lead the way to the table he had left the piece of paper on. When they arrived, they found a table that was bare and the duckbutt haired boy frowned in confusion.

"Where is it?" He asked aloud as looked under the table.

Sakura bit her bottom lip. 'It's not here but Sasuke-san did say that he had last seen it a few days ago, so it is highly likely that it's been moved. I'm sure Mikoto-san wouldn't have thrown it away if she knew what was on it and Itachi-san and Fugaku-san probably wouldn't have done anything about it. Shisui-san doesn't live here so he probably didn't do anything either.'

Deciding to ask Mikoto if she had seen the piece of paper, Sakura looked at Sasuke.

"I think we should go ask your mother if she's seen it."

"Good idea." The boy agreed and they rushed off together to go find the dark haired woman.

They found her in the kitchen, cleaning some dishes in the sink. Sasuke ran up to her, hugging her legs.

"Okaa-san!" He exclaimed as his mother turned around after drying her hands. She kneeled down and hugged him back, raising her head to smile at Sakura.

"Hello Sasu-chan, Sakura-chan!" She grinned. "Are you two having fun? I'm just waiting for the mochi to be ready!"

"Hello Mikoto-san, we were wondering if you've seen a piece of paper with information about Sasuke-san's action figures on it?" The rosette held up the green haired toy, making sure the Uchiha clan Matriarch knew what she was talking about.

"Well, I do believe I saw it when I was doing some cleaning.." She paused for a moment to think. "I think I might have put it away, one moment please."

The woman exited the room and Sakura and Sasuke waited patiently for her to come back. When she did, she had the piece of paper that the two had been looking for and Sasuke's grin lit up the entire room when she gave it to him.

"Why don't you two go back upstairs? I'll call you guys when the mochi is ready."

The two kids smiled at the woman before heading back upstairs to Sasuke's room. They sat on his bed and read over the information that was on the piece of paper.

"Name: Takumi Abiko

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: Genin

Gender: Male

Date of Birth: March 29th

Age: 13

Height: 168cms

Weight: 47kgs

Blood Type: A-

Favourite Food: Miso Soup

Notes: Takumi graduated at the top of his class, he specialises in kenjutsu and is able to wield a sword with deadly accuracy. He is competent in ninjutsu and genjutsu and he is extremely skilled in taijutsu. His chakra control however is not as good and he struggled with the chakra control exercises in the academy. He spends most of his time training and his academy teachers have all commended him on his good behaviour and positive attitude."

Sakura read the first profile on the piece of paper aloud and paused for a moment to let the information sink in to both her and Sasuke's brains.

'So, in short, he is well-rounded in everything but chakra control..' The fact that Takumi was apparently talented in kenjutsu proved her earlier theory of him being some sort of sword fighter.

She also assumed that the height, as well as the weight, listed on the profile was if they were life-sized or actual humans. They were, after all, small enough to be picked up and held onto with one hand.

She moved onto the next profile, reading aloud like before.

"Name: Harumi Chiba

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: Genin

Gender: Female

Date of Birth: December 22nd

Age: 12

Height: 154cms

Weight: 40kgs

Blood Type: B-

Favourite Food: Botchan Dango

Notes: Harumi graduated with flying colours, her genjutsu skills are outstanding as is her chakra control. Her ninjutsu is also very impressive however Harumi does not show much interest in learning jutsus other than the ones taught in the academy. Her taijutsu is good and she has excellent aim with weapons. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and can often be found out shopping."

The pinkette was surprised to learn that the greenette was more interested in genjutsu then ninjutsu or some other ninja art. It was quite rare for someone, especially for a child, to take an interest in illusions. Normally many would believe that genjutsu was lame or boring when it was actually powerful. It was an attack on the mind and could make people see, make people believe that whatever you were doing with the technique was real. Many people underestimate genjutsu and that could be their downfall.

She was also quite surprised since usually when Uchihas were put on a team they would fill the role of the genjutsu user.

Next up was said Uchiha and as she began to read his profile, she noticed that Sasuke once again puffed out his chest.

"Name: Hideo Uchiha

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: Genin

Gender: Male

Date of Birth: April 1st

Age:12

Height: 149cms

Weight:42kgs

Blood Type: AB+

Favourite Food: Sushi

Notes: Hideo, like his teammates scored extremely high in the academy. He is proficient in genjutsu and is extremely skilled in taijutsu and ninjutsu. He enjoys training and likes learning new jutsus. He has a fully developed sharingan of which he unlocked at the age of ten. He is very talented with fire jutsus, especially ones of which his clan taught him when he was younger."

Next was the red haired sensei.

"Name: Maro Kiyama

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: Jounin

Gender: Male

Date of Birth: July 6th

Age:25

Height: 186.8cms

Weight: 69.8kgs

Blood Type: A+

Favourite Food: Chicken Gyoza

Notes: Maro Kiyama is the Sensei of this team. He is extremely skilled when it comes to weaponry and his speed is unrivalled. He was previously in anbu but quit after deciding to train a team of Genin. He knows a wide range of different jutsus and is able to quickly memorise large amounts of information. Maro, despite his cheeky attitude, is a fantastic teacher. He takes his students' interests and skills into consideration when teaching them. He allows them to focus on what they like whilst teaching them new things and making sure they're well rounded."

The pinkette turned her attention to the next profile, this one was about the Anbu, Sasuke's favourite action figure.

"Name: Ren Chisaka

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: Anbu

Gender: Male

Date of Birth: January 1st

Age: 21

Height: 176.2cms

Weight: 67kgs

Blood Type: O-

Favourite Food: Smoked Salmon

Notes: His Anbu mask is of a rabbit and as a result he is called Rabbit when working. He is extremely skilled and can use a variety of water jutsus and can wield his katana almost effortlessly. He is an amazingly strong fighter and is never one to back down from a fight unless commanded."

She then moved onto the final profile: the Hokage's.

"Name: Hiruzen Sarutobi

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: Hokage

Gender: Male

Date of Birth: February 8th

Age: 62

Height: 163.1cms

Weight: 50.6kgs

Blood Type: A

Favourite Food: Hijiki and sardine fish balls

Notes: Sarutobi Hiruzen is the Third Hokage. He became Hokage at around the age of twenty two and is a natural prodigy. He is hailed as 'The God of Shinobi' and is the strongest shinobi produced from his clan as well as the most powerful of Kage during his lifetime. He is the student of both the first and second Hokage and has an unprecedented versatility in ninjutsu. Having mastered all the skillsets and combat forms of the shinobi arts. Sarutobi Hiruzen is reputed for his advanced knowledge and skill of all techniques to ever exist within Konoha, including the many Hiden techniques, and able to use each of them with the highest level of power and control."

There was a short description on each of the action figures, presumably so that whoever was reading it understood who was who.

Sakura reread the Hokage's profile, silently this time. She was surprised that whoever was selling the action figures was allowed to give out such information. Then again, there wasn't really too much and the toys were most likely only being sold inside the village.

'I wonder if the person who made these toys used to be a shinobi? They crafted the anbu with such detail I assume they were probably once one themself.' She was brought out of her thoughts when Sasuke started to talk.

"I'm pretty sure the Hokage is the only action figure based off of a real person but I do have a relative who I'm pretty sure is called Hideo now that I think about it.."

Sakura sighed. Even though the boy was talking out loud he was stuck in a world that was entirely his own. She stood up from the boy's bed, setting down the piece of paper where she had been sitting before (Sasuke had let her hold it so that she could read it easier).

The pinkette looked at the doll she still held onto in her hands and frowned slightly at the smug expression on the girl's face. She wondered what could have caused her to wear such an expression. Perhaps she had caught someone in an illusion or she had won some sort of spar.

"Hey Sakura-chan!" Sakura's emerald orbs moved to Sasuke who appeared to have come out of whatever daze he had been in previously. "Let's play!"

And so, the two four year olds began to play with the action figures. The pinkette controlling Maro Kiyama, Harumi Chiba and Takumi Abiko whilst Sasuke decided the actions of the Hokage, Ren Chisaka and Hideo Uchiha.

War settled between Konoha and the land of fantasies- a place where creatures of all kinds lived and roamed free. Said creatures were in reality, some of Sasuke's stuffed toys but they were large dragons that could breathe out fire and trolls that hid deep down in the caves underground in their imagination. Just as Genkei (the leader of the Dragons) and Hachi (the leader of the trolls) were forming an alliance to team up against the ninja, Shisui entered the room in a flash, picking up Sakura and cuddling her against his chest.

"Shisui!" Sasuke whined, he was annoyed at the older boy for entering his room without permission and for ruining his and Sakura-chan's concentration on the make-believe world they had created. "Put Sakura-chan down right now!" He yelled angrily as he stood up after placing the toys in his hands on the ground.

"Otouto do not shout. Shisui, put Sakura-san down." The forever calm voice of Itachi Uchiha sounded as he entered the room.

"Aww, c'mon 'Tachi-chan! Let loose a little! Chibi-chan here loves my hugs!" The curly haired boy grinned. He tightened his arms around the young girl as if to prove his point and all Sakura could do was let out a weak groan.

She still had a headache and the fact that she was the victim of Shisui's bone-crushing hug wasn't helping her in the least.

Poor Sasuke ran up to Shisui and started to claw at his arms, trying desperately to free his friend from his cousin's clutches.

"Hey! Sasuke!" Shisui screeched as he lifted the small rosette up higher. "Stop it you tomato lover!"

Just as those last words left the preteens mouth Sasuke pounced on him. The curly haired male let out a high-pitched noise as Sasuke's weight caused him to fall back onto the floor. He hit his head and let out a hiss of pain. Sasuke climbed onto his cousin's legs and tried his very best to rip away Shisui's arms from around Sakura. The older boy used his legs to try and kick away the male with the hairstyle that represented a duck's behind.

Sakura sighed as the loud yells of both the boys filled her ears. Itachi was simply watching the scene with a deadpan. He had no motivation to interrupt the useless scuffle and settled to simply wait until his mother heard the racket and came up to investigate.

Sasuke let out a particularly loud yell after getting kicked in the cheek. He moved his head to try and get Shisui's foot away from his face but ended up getting a foot in his mouth. He sputtered when the foot moved and let out a groan when it came back with a nasty kick to his chin. He wasn't even sure how one of his cousin's legs had managed to escape his grasp. He had been keeping a tight grip on them as he tried to free his pink haired friend. He held his chin with his free hand and let out another groan. His cousin's kick had really hurt and he was just thankful that he had been fortunate enough to have not bit his tongue.

"What is going on here?" The two males paused and looked up at the same time to see Mikoto standing next to Itachi, her hands on her hips. "Sasu-chan get off of Shisui-kun."

The duckbutt haired boy obeyed his mother's command and stood up, his hands clasped in front of him as his head was bowed, his dark eyes focused on the floor. Shisui stood up next to him, Sakura still in his arms. The poor girl was tempted to bite Shisui's arm in hopes of having him let go of her but she was too focused on the pain in her head. The small pinkette was also kind of grateful that he was carrying her since she wouldn't need to stand up by herself (she had a feeling her legs couldn't support her at the moment. She wasn't sure whether that was from the scuffle she had involuntarily been a part of, or if her headache had somehow made her legs go numb.).

"Would someone please explain to me why you two were a mess of limbs and screams a minute ago?" The long haired woman had a stern frown on her face.

"It wasn't my fault Kaa-san! Shisui interupted me and Sakura-chan when we were playing and he grabbed her! I was just trying to free Sakura-chan!"

"I was just trying to give Chibi-chan a hug and then Sasu-cakes suddenly pounced on me and started clawing at my arms! I've even got the scratches to prove it!"

The two boys spoke at the same time and glared at each other for a moment. Before Sakura could blink the two had started arguing again. Mikoto sighed, shaking her head, a disappointed frown etched onto her face. The woman turned to her eldest son.

"Itachi-kun can you please tell me what happened?"

"Shisui and I entered Otouto's bedroom and Shisui rushed over and picked up Sakura-san. Otouto then jumped onto Shisui and began to try and get Sakura-san out of Shisui's grasp." The boy explained with a straight face.

The woman turned back to the two males (and the pinkette) who had stopped their bickering. The boys were waiting with bated breaths for what she would say next. They both had a nervous aura surrounding them and the atmosphere was tense.

"Well, the mochi is ready but since you two were misbehaving I suppose Itachi-kun and Sakura-chan will be getting the extras." Shisui let out a whine and Sasuke puffed out his cheeks. "Now put down Sakura-chan, Shisui-kun and we can all go down and have some mochi."

The boy did as Mikoto commanded and they all went into the kitchen to feast on the sweet treats.

~{*.*}~

Sakura blinked down at the pink blob in her hands. Behind her Shisui was trying to hold in a laugh.

"I couldn't help but make strawberry mochi! Your hair is so unique Sakura-chan, I just couldn't help myself!" A sigh passed the pinkette's mouth and she bit into the mochi. Her eyes sparkled as she ate it. The green eyed girl loved anything sweet but this was simply scrumptious! She made a sound of enjoyment as she chewed with her eyes closed. Someone chuckled but she didn't pay any attention to who it was, her focus directed solely on what she was eating. Once she had finished her first one, she grabbed another, stuffing it in her mouth and savouring the taste.

She still had a headache but the food was providing her with a distraction. She quickly finished her second one and was about to reach for another when Shisui spoke up.

"Chibi-chan, aren't you going to save some for later? I'm sure you can take some home with you so don't just stuff them into each cheek and walk around like chipmunk."

Sakura huffed, a frown marring her face.

"Shisui-kun, don't say that! Sakura-chan may have as many as she wants." The dark haired woman turned to the pinkette. "Feel free to take as many as you want home as well."

The pinkette smiled gratefully, she hoped that Inner would be less grouchy when she woke up if she saved some mochi for her.

"I appreciate it, arigatou Mikoto-san."

"It's no problem Sakura-chan!" The woman smiled pleasantly and they all continued eating the delicious mochi.

Once they were done Sakura decided that it was about time she went home. Of course, the inevitable struck and Mikoto was desperate to have Shisui or Itachi accompany her.

"You can't go on your own Sakura-chan! It's late and it isn't safe for you to be out alone!" Sakura sighed.

"It really is alright Mikoto-san. Konoha is full of ninja and if I do run into trouble, I don't doubt that one of them will help me." The pinkette took a deep breath before continuing. "Besides, my parents are probably waiting for me somewhere. They usually stand by around the path I take home, one of them will probably see me and walk home with me from there. They may even be waiting outside the compound."

Technically she wasn't lying. She knew that plenty of ninja stood guard around the village all throughout the day and night. She had found out about this thanks to Inner, how her other half had known such information was a mystery but then again, how Inner knew most of what she did was unknown. The part about her parents was also kind of true. She had spotted her father keeping an eye on her whenever she went through the market to get home and her mother would often escort her around the village and would pick her up from the library all the time. She understood that it was because they were worried about her and she wished more than anything to have her father walk home with her even when his makeshift store was still open. She wished to have her mother fuss over her and fret over each crease in her dress. She missed her parents' warm embrace and the feeling of their kisses on her forehead as she fell asleep.

She blinked away the tears that had begun to form in her eyes as she came back to reality. Mikoto was looking at her, her face clearly expressing her worry and concern.

"Are you ok Sakura-chan?" The dark haired female asked.

Sakura nodded. "Sorry, I just have a bit of a headache. I'll be fine on my own." She smiled up at the woman, hoping that her excuse was believable. Inner always told her that the most effective way to lie was by telling half-truths.

"Well, alright.. do you have any medicine for your headaches?"

"Err.. yeah, they're at home though so I should probably go now." Now the pinkette was just flat-out lying.

"Alright Sakura-chan, take care."

"I will. Thank you for having me Mikoto-san." The little girl smiled.

Just before she could set foot out of the house she was scooped up into familiar arms. Shisui rubbed his cheek against her's, tightening his grip on her.

"I'll miss you Chibi-chan! Make sure to come visit the compound and when you come make sure to shout my name and I'll come to you in a flash."

"Shisui, let Sakura-chan go! It's my turn to say goodbye to her!" Sasuke whined, appearing from behind his mother and trying grab onto to the pinkette.

The curly haired Uchiha sighed but put the girl down all the same. The duckbutt haired boy gave his friend a tight hug before letting her go.

"Make sure to come round again soon, we can continue playing when you do and we can even do some ninja training!"

Sakura's lips twitched upwards into a small smile. Sasuke had been overjoyed when he discovered that she aspired to be a ninja. He had declared that they would train together in the future and that they would both grow up to be the best shinobi in the world.

"Sounds good." The boy stepped back, standing next to his brother.

"Sakura-san." Itachi dipped his head. "Have a safe journey home."

The petal haired female bowed her head in return and with one last smile, she exited the house.

As the small pinkette travelled home, a bag of strawberry mochi in hand, she was deep in thought.

'I wonder what brought on this headache? I was fine earlier but all of a sudden, I got a burst of pain and it felt as if the entire room was spinning.' Her pink eyebrows furrowed as she let out a yawn, rubbing her tired eyes. 'When I get home, I'll be going straight to bed, it's quite late after all.'

'You can say that again, cha! Pluss, maybe a nap will cure our headache!'

Sakura sighed; she knew that voice.

'You're back then.'

'Hey!' Inner Sakura screeched. 'What's that supposed to mean?'

The pinkette rolled her eyes as Inner continued to screech in their mindscape.

'Please quieten down Inner. I've already had enough socialisation for one day and your screaming is certainly not helping the headache go away.' There was a moment of silence before the screaming continued.

'Wait! You ate without me? I thought we had a pact! And you ate some of the Food Queen's cooking too! How could you?'

Sakura sighed, once again rubbing her tired, emerald eyes. It seemed like the memories of the day's events had finally reached Inner. She travelled the rest of the way home, her other half screaming and causing the pain in her head to worsen.

A/N: This took forever! I'm so sorry that you guys had to wait for this one but it is extremely long, I mean it's nearly 6000 words!

I'm going to try and lessen the amount of 'Cha!'s in Inner's speech from now on because many of you have said it's too much. (Thank you for telling me by the way!)

Anyway, I'm super tired right now so I'll make this quick.

I am so happy to announce that I now have over 100 followers on Wattpad! How crazy is that? I will be doing some sort of 100+ followers special so please let me know what you want for that! I could do a special chapter on one of my three stories or something else? I'm so happy, thank you all so much!

I'm planning to publish the first chapter of 'Barry Otter? Shannaro!' on Christmas day so keep an eye out for that!

I am also glad to say that my friend HelloWorld has a new account on Wattpad! Make sure to follow her, her new username is Pop-Queen!

Erm, I'll probably add more to this at a later date but erm yeah!

Sorry for any mistakes!

Hope you enjoyed!
