"Super Smash Brothers The Movie!"

Prologue: "The Hand of Fate!"

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Eart- oh wait wrong story, but this is the beginning of something. Long ago, light and darkness lived in perfect harmony, creating countless legends of good and evil, like two Italian plumbers who were protected by a cute green dinosaur as babies saving a princess of a kingdom of mushroom people from a giant fire-breathing, spiky-shelled turtle, or a reincarnated hero of time fighting an evil overlord of darkness alongside the princess of the kingdom. An adorable but deadly pink warrior protecting an entire universe full of cute creatures from hyperdestructive threats, a world where pocket monsters are everywhere and are always trained to harness their powers or just remain wild animals. The story of an intergalactic bounty hunter destroying deadly parasitic aliens while seeking revenge against a giant purple space dragon who killed her family, or an alien fox who is a part of an intergalactic law enforcement who pilot highly advanced spacecrafts to stop a giant floating space monkey with floating hands, a giant brown gorilla defending his banana hoard from a pirate crocodile alongside his little buddy, the story of a thirteen year old boy with psychic powers who alongside his new friends destroyed a cosmic demon and saved the universe, and even the story of a racer turned bounty hunter from the future who destroyed a cold-blooded king of crime with extreme firepower.

But all of these legends pale in comparison to one, the story of how the fates of twelve heroes collided and how they joined forces to save the multiverse and then some. Our story begins on a small platform floating in the middle of space, where a giant floating white left hand is watching over events that happened across the multiverse, from a red-clad Italian plumber jumping around a world of bricks and mushrooms to a man with elf-like ears dressed in green holding a sword and shield slicing skeletons and demons. "Hmm." Pondered the hand, despite not having a mouth (A/N: Seriously how does he laugh or scream in pain in the game?), "Interesting, very interesting." He looked on and saw several more events, one consisted of a cute pink sphere with stubby arms and legs inhaling, swallowing and gaining the power of a pyrokinetic enemy, another a boy in his early teens fighting a silver alien with psychic powers with his three friends, yet another a battle between what appeared to be a small yellow mouse-like creature with electricity sparking off of it and a pink puffball with short arms and legs, anime-esque eyes and a curl on its head, another one showed a woman in a red and orange power suit with a green laser cannon on its right arm blasting at alien creatures, and the last one an anthropomorphic fox blasting at several oncoming attackers with a laser gun.

The hand was to say the least, intrigued by these events, "I wonder what would happen if these people met." It said, "Or what would happen if they fought." It then snapped its fingers, and soldiers that looked like they were made out of purple crystals appeared, "There will be several challenges, including my polygon army, target breaking, a race to the finish and much more." It then turned to the soldiers, "You will attack their worlds, give them a challenge, and then when you're done, I will bring them here for their final challenge, me, the Master Hand!" The hand, now known as the Master Hand, then cackled evilly, then stopped, "I'd say we should start in about an hour, and when that time comes, they will be pushed to the limit, and when all is said and done, I will destroy them from the inside out!" Master Hand then started laughing maniacally again, unaware that he was making the biggest mistake of his life.

"I don't think that's going to happen, Master Hand!" Called a voice.

The Hand turned around towards the source of the voice, "Who dares to defy the almighty Master Hand!?" He demanded.

"That would be me." The voice responded as its source made its presence known as a Japanese man in his early fifties with black hair, wearing a long black coat, black shoes, blue jeans, and a white shirt with four dots facing up, down, left and right, in different colors [up (red), down (yellow), left (green), right (blue)].

"Ah," Said Master Hand in surprise, "Masahiro Sakurai, Director of the Safehaven from Other Realms' Atrocities, what an unpleasant surprise."

"Cut the chit-chat, Hand!" Masahiro said in a serious tone, "I won't allow you to harm those people, nor the worlds and the heroes! You won't take any more innocent lives than you've already taken, my friends, my wife, Michiko!" He then pulled out a Nintendo Zapper and aimed it at the giant hand, "Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way, which one will it be?"

Master Hand then pointed a finger gun at the Director and fired a missile at him from his fingers. Masahiro dodged and fired his Zapper at the hand, and landed a direct hit, but it barely scratched him, "Fool!" Exclaimed the hand, "Do you really think you can stop me?! PAH! Don't make me laugh!"

Masahiro then smirked while breathing heavily, "No," he said, "But I can distract you." He then grabbed a glowing object from a control panel, one that created a massive portal leading to the other worlds, "Ciao." And with that he started to run away.

Master Hand then looked at his minions, well half of them had already gone through the portals to the other worlds to attack the heroes, but the other half just stood there wondering what to do, "Don't just stand there, you imbeciles! Don't let him escape!" He then realized something, "Wait! I just remembered, Sakurai! Do you realize what you've done?!"

Masahiro then looked at the portals and saw that they were becoming unstable, "That's not good." He said in worry.

Just then, the giant hand and the Director of S.O.R.A heard twelve different voices all screaming and then twelve silhouettes flew out of the portal and disappeared from sight as the portal then exploded. When the dust cleared, Masahiro and Master Hand then looked at each other, "What have you done?" Asked Master Hand, "You've ruined my plan!"

Sakurai's mouth then formed a smirk as he threw a smoke grenade and made his escape through the smoke, "At least I was able to give the universe a beacon of hope." He thought, "I know they can win."
