"I hate heat! Why in Starclan is this so bad?" Crowshade muttered quietly.
"Let all able-bodied cats gather around the tall rock for dusk patrols!" Breezefang
yowled across the camp. The warriors started gathering, waiting to be sent off.
Crowshade nervously tried to hide the scent of her heat from the toms, but obviously didn't work as the toms were all staring at her trying to get a glimpse of her core. She'd hoped that her mate Breezefang would notice and get rid of it and it seemed like he didn't smell it at all.
"Halfmoon, Dustpelt and Bugclaw, you will go on hunting patrol. Antstep and Leaftail, you two will go on Thunderpath border patrol. Antstep will be leading. Crowshade and I will patrol the river border. Patrols dismissed!" He said seriously.
Breezepelt signaled with his light furred tail to follow him. He led her to the mating ground where no one patrolled because of lack of prey. "Huh?" Crowshade asked, seeing as they arrived at the mating grounds. "I could smell your heat a fox length away." He smirked, his member fully out. "Please take me! This heat is killing me!" She said, crouching and lifting her tail to show her soaking core.
