The next day after Lee's death, Trunks had returned from his previous mission and finally decided to train hard again with Squad 17.
Trunks came to see Naruto at his home early in the morning. "I've returned from my mission of gaining intel on the Akatsuki." Trunks said. "What did I miss while I was gone?" Trunks asked.
Naruto sighed. "Itachi and Sasuke tried to murder us, but Lee sacrificed himself to save our lifes. Then Jesus Christ restored him, but now he's gone to heaven. Sucks huh?" Naruto said.
Trunks smiled. "He's probably gonna train with King Kai, and lighten up Naruto! We'll wish him back to life soon. Now go get Sakura and yourself to the training field. I'm going to go see Ino and my dad." Trunks said as he flew away.
Naruto and Sakura then met up at the training field before anyone else arrived.
Sakura looked deeply into his eyes. "N-Naruto..."
"S-Sakura..." Naruto said with a big blush on his face. They were indeed in love now, but only God knows who will make the first move.
Sakura smiled as she went to give him a hug. "Um... hey Naruto... where's your baby? Don't tell me you left her all alone!" Sakura yelled at him.
Naruto chuckled. "No no, Sakura, don't worry, Granny Tsunade is watching over her for today. I need to do some training if I want to protect my daughter from all the evil doer's like Itachi and Sasuke." Naruto said.
Sakura looked down at the ground. "Um... do you think Sasuke will ever change?" Sakura asked trying to hold in her tears, since deep in her heart she still had feelings for him.
Naruto sighed. "I feel you Sakura. I wish all of us could be-" Naruto was cut off guard as someone or better to say something appeared behind him.
This puppet figure tried to stab Naruto, who barely managed to jump away from the attack.
"W-What are these things!?" Naruto looked scared as even more puppet figures showed up.
Towa smiled while hidden away near a tree. "Sasori! My good boy, I shall give your puppets even more power! In exchange, you shall destroy Naruto and Sakura." Towa said looking over at Sasori standing nearby.
Sasori grinned. "If you really can do that, I don't see why not! Give them power, and I shall kill them all and then I'll go extract Shukaku from Gaara afterwords." Sasori said as he continued to unleash puppet after puppet to fight Naruto.
Then Trunks appeared as a Super Saiyan. "Naruto! Sakura! The training is postponed! Get out of here, it's too dangerous for you." Trunks said.
Naruto smiled. "Right on Trunks! Thank you."
"Thank me later, Naruto! Go!" Trunks shouted as he began to fight the dark ki enhanced puppets.
Sasori walked over at last. "So you are the mysterious Saiyan that appeared in the hidden leaf village 5 years ago. It's a pleasure to meet an actual alien." Sasori said.
"How did you know I was a Saiyan?" Trunks asked.
Sasori chuckled. "I know many things thanks to my third eye." Sasori said as an eye ball appeared on his forehead. "I usually have to keep it hidden, Satan doesn't like to be seen." Sasori said as he continued making more puppets.
Trunks sighed as he managed to defeat most of them with his sword.
Sasori grunted. "Seems like this will be harder than I originally expected."
