Chapter 42: Itachi vs Sairaorg, Part 3!
The clash of two friends, rivals, two brothers. Itachi and Sairaorg both took a giant leap to the sky, and clashed their forearms against each other. The shockwave generated from their clash, was felt throughout the entire Rating Game Dimension. The two hovers in the air for a few moments, exchanging a smile with one another.
Sairaorg tightened his fist, as with his overwhelming strength he pushed forward. In a contest of brute strength, there was no question that Sairaorg had the advantage. A man born with no talent, who had worked hard to make his body impenetrable to most magical attacks and strong enough to take punches from heavy hitters.
Itachi, a man born with great talent, yet despite having talent he too had worked hard to better and improve himself. Together with Sairaorg, Itachi had made himself grow exceptional in power himself. His raw talent, was still a factor however. As three Itachi's jump out from the smoke screen left from the rubble that once was Itachi's skyscraper sized King chess piece statue.
Sairaorg gazes up at the three clones of Itachi and smirks. 'Through the obscurity of the smoke he was able to make three clones, huh?' Sairaorg realized Itachi's game plan in that moment, as the three water clones threw their dominant arms back, and unleashed large spinning currents of water down onto Sairaorg.
Sairaorg fell hard to the ground, the weight of the water pushing him to the arena floor. The clones didn't let up, as they each formed a yellow magic circle, unleashing a flickering current of lightning streaming into the water to electrocute Sairaorg. Itachi leapt down in front of Sairaorg, hearing the crackling sound of lightning and the heavy rain of water falls crashing down. Itachi wasn't surprised, as he saw Sairaorg tank it all with mild discomfort.
With a mighty battle cry, Sairaorg disperses the water around him, creating a spinning whirlpool. Throwing three collective air punches to the sky, unleashing shockwave cannons blasting into the three water clones causing them to explode in a brilliant explosion. "Starting off with your Hydrogenic Bomb clones, eh?" Sairaorg smirked as he looked ahead to Itachi who was standing there completely still. Seeing Itachi this relaxed, Sairaorg had caught on to the real hand at play here. "Nah, that isn't your style…" Sairaorg closed his left eye, his right pupil shrinking as he gazed on ahead. "You started off with an illusion during our first clash!" Sairaorg quickly bites into his own hand, he bit down so hard he even drew blood. The rush and surge of the pain through his body, woke Sairaorg up just in time to see the still standing Itachi before him vanish in a mirage.
As the real Itachi appeared in a flash behind him, wielding a blade made out of ice that he thrusted towards Sairaorg's back. Having woken up from the illusion in time, Sairaorg was given just enough time to counter, as he steps aside and grabs ahold of Itachi's wrist. Lifting Itachi into the air, Sairaorg body slammed him to the floor before him denting the arena with a small body shaped crater. Although that Itachi suddenly explodes, the fiery explosion burning Sairaorg's already bitten hand which effectively cauterized the wound.
Sairaorg stood there relatively unharmed, his ears perking up as he heard something coming from underground. Looking quickly down, Sairaorg saw the ground before him explode as Itachi rushed out like a mole and dealt an upper cut punch to Sairaorg's chin. The force of Itachi's punch didn't hurt as much as Bob's did, but it was enough to make Sairaorg throw his head backwards.
Regaining his bearings quickly, Sairaorg grabbed onto Itachi's arms, keeping him place. "Nowhere to run." Sairaorg smirked about to deal a dropkick to Itachi's chest like he had done to Bob. Although, another Itachi jumps out from behind the one he is holding. "Heh, sneaky bastard." Sairaorg smirks, as the Itachi hovering in the air fires off a Fire Shot blast into the clone Sairaorg is holding. Which turned out to be a Hydrogenic Bomb clone, the moment the fire shot hit, the clone exploded point blank in Sairaorg's face.
Itachi leapt back down to the ground, and gazed into the fiery smoke before him. Smiling, Itachi spoke to his rival in the burning smoke. "I see you have trained your mind as well as your body…" Itachi was pleased with Sairaorg's growth, seeing the muscular Bael heir step out of the fire with his shirt mostly burnt off revealing his rock-hard muscular body. Sairaorg's body was without any scratches from the explosion, just gathered patches of ash here and there. "Your body is even more durable than last time… to withstand such an explosion. And you seem to have grown resistant to basic Sharingan genjutsu." Itachi made a mental note, that Sairaorg had kind of managed to pull off a similar feat to his former fellow Akatsuki member Deidara, who trained his eye against visual genjutsu to get revenge on Itachi one day. Itachi smiled at his rival, as Sairaorg casually brushed off some dust from his shoulder. "It is nice to see our years of sparring together has paid off, hasn't it?"
Sairaorg returns with a smile of his own, as he bawls out laughing. "Indeed! But a sparring match doesn't beat the real deal! A real battle!" Sairaorg jumps at Itachi, as he throws a heavy punch that Itachi narrowly dodges by weaving to the side. Itachi grabs a hold onto Sairaorg's wrist, and tosses the Bael heir over his shoulder and crashing to the arena floor. Creating a second body shaped crater in the arena.
Sairaorg grins, as his lower body shoots up and his legs wrap around Itachi's neck. As Sairaorg body slams Itachi head first to the arena floor. "How many times are you going to use the same tricks?" Sairaorg asked, as the Itachi he had body slammed turned into a puddle of water. "Conserving your energy reserves by not using another Hydrogenic Bomb clone I see."
"Why bother? We just established it wouldn't work on you." Itachi appeared standing behind Sairaorg who had flipped himself back up. Cracking his neck by lightly bending it to the side back and forth.
"Heh, I suppose that is true. And I guess that is also why you are not trying to electrocute me right now?" Sairaorg playfully asked as he tapped his foot into the water puddle left by Itachi's clone.
In the stadium, Sona and her Peerage actively cheer for Itachi. Same with the Gremory group, although their mistress Rias is solely focused on observing the battle in silence. Yet she smiles warmly at seeing her cousin and boyfriend interact like this. The humans in the meantime, are all gasping in shock. "Amazing… my mind can hardly keep up with what is going on." Matsuda swallowed a lump in his throat, he and Motohama were amazed at the sheer durability and strength of Sairaorg. And how versatile and skillful Itachi was in combat.
"Itachi-senpai and Sairaorg-kun are both so cool!" Murayama and Katase practically swooned over the two young men. Murayama herself felt her face grow warm as she looked upon Sairaorg's bare muscular upper body. Aika sat in silence, her mind still focused on those two middle class devils that tried to assault her and Asia. Her body was still trembling at the thought, her trembling seized as she felt a strong comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Kiryuu, you okay?" Thinking it to have been maybe Asia or someone else, Aika was shocked to discover it was Issei of all people. Looking genuinely worried for her.
"Yeah, Hyoudou… I'm fine." She lied, although without a word, she leant in closer to Issei. Feeling safe as she sat there. "Not a word, got it?" She gave him a dangerous glare, causing Issei to get a bit flustered.
"Y-Yeah, sure…" Issei didn't voice any complaint, he looked next to him where Asia was sitting. Asia gave Issei a thankful smile for comforting her best friend.
Back in the arena, Sairaorg did some light stretches. "So, we done warming up? Because I have hardly even broken a sweat here."
"Heh, acting cheeky now, are we?" Itachi and Sairaorg shared a light hearted chuckle.
"Hehe, maybe~" Sairaorg smirked, although as he finished laughing. Itachi's smile dropped, as his body began glowing in a white fiery aura.
"Touki…" Immediately Itachi rushed at Sairaorg, dealing a spin kick into Sairaorg's neck. The sudden blow to his neck, had Sairaorg groan in pain as he budged and bent the knee. "You may know how to counter my illusions… But I know the weak spots of your sturdy dense body." Itachi added. Both having shown in this fight their individual knowledge on how the other fights, and how to counter it. Itachi knows a direct approach against Sairaorg usually doesn't turn out too well. But, with base Touki, Itachi also knows he can boost up his own attack power enough to do some damage to Sairaorg's body.
Meanwhile, the other battle between Harry and Regulus was raging on. The two heavy hitters were tearing up the arena on their side. Regulus having turned his hands into lion claws that emitted a golden fire, and Harry parrying off the claws with his Flame Sword of Pride.
Harry watched Regulus's claws carefully, from Regulus battle against Eto, Harry had gotten the idea that those claws or rather the flame emitting from them were bad news. As such, Harry closed his eyes and focused on his inner energy. His skin turning dark and black as iron itself, hardening. "Busoshoku Haki!" Increasing his defensive abilities, as well as his offence abilities with armament Haki form.
"You think this form will protect you?" Regulus asked, as his fiery claws actually slashed through the armor on Harry's chest leaving four nasty claw marks. "Mine claws can injure Gods! You cannot match my power!"
"Match it?" Harry's booming voice echoed, as he unleashed a strong pressure from his willpower. "No, my dear boy, my power does not match yours. It exceeds it." Harry's voice boomed with arrogance and pride, as he slammed the bottom of his swords handle down onto Regulus's head. The lion groaned, his eyes going white as blood erupted out from the top of his head. Harry then booted Regulus in the chest, launching the lion boy far back.
Regulus dug his claws into the arena, as he skidded backwards, dragging up the arena with his claws and leaving a fiery trail. Blood trickled over his eye, as Regulus growled like a feral beast at Harry. "Injure a God? Hmph, such a feat, matters not while standing before me. Gods are as common as grains of sand on a beach at this point." Harry pointed out, as he looked out on the crowd of Gods who began snarling at his arrogance. "I am a one of a kind, a unique existence. I am the mighty Harry Newgate." Harry lightly brushed his hand over the scratch mark on his chest left by Regulus' claws. "You should instead pride yourself on the fact, that you managed to leave a scratch on my body."
Regulus at hearing this, actually began laughing. "Ah, old man, you are a riot. I like it. I am personally not that big of a fan of the Gods. And you are right, I have never encountered such a prideful entity as yourself before!" Regulus barred his fangs at Harry, as he ran on all fours towards him. Moving at near blinding speed, Regulus launched himself towards Harry with his claws raised.
"Heh, it is good to face an opponent that understands such a fact. I shall give you the honor of seeing more of my amazing power." Harry smiled at the incoming Regulus, straightening his back, Harry slammed the boot of his foot to the ground causing the arena to crack. With a mighty war cry, Harry unleashed the full blunt force of his aura. "Haoshoku Haki!" Harry using the full blunt force of his willpower, exerting his willpower onto Regulus which knocked him to the floor.
Regulus facing the intimidating pressure of Harry's aura, like a proud lion Regulus got back on his feet and roared to the heavens. Regulus grew a majestic golden mane, and began entering his lion form. And as such, Regulus was able to brush aside the pressure of Harry's aura.
Harry smiles at seeing this, as his body begins catching ablaze. "Balance Breaker: Flames of Pride!" A fire samurai-like armor formed itself around Harry. His body emitting a strong blazing surge of fire that had even Regulus sweat. "Come then!" Harry challenged as the two charged at each other with a ferocious roar and battle cry.
Over with Itachi and Sairaorg, Sairaorg was on the defensive as Itachi utilized the power of his Touki form to deal heavy, yet swift surgical blows to weak spots on Sairaorg's body. Such as his armpits, his neck and kidneys. Itachi turned up the heat, by going a gear higher. "Touki: Speed Mode." With crackling lightning surrounding him, Itachi moved at light speed dealing a series of swift strikes in a single instance.
Sairaorg's perfect temple of a body was left with bruises, damage having been dealt to his inner organs to the point where his mouth was filled with blood. Slowly and steady however, the tables began to turn on Itachi. As Itachi went in for a swift chop strike to Sairaorg's neck, the Bael heir titled his head backwards narrowly avoiding the strike. Sairaorg then begins going on the assault, throwing his own series of punches. Although Itachi with his enhanced speed and senses, weaved and dodged each blow as he simultaneously dealt an elbow strike to Sairaorg's chest.
Itachi sped around Sairaorg, circling him hundreds of times in a mere second before going for a low kick to Sairaorg's feet. The Bael heir however, reacted and leapt over the kick. As he landed back down, Sairaorg dealt heavy hammer strikes. Itachi weaved and dodges the first few hits, although was forced to block off the last strike with his forearm.
It was becoming clear to Itachi, although his speed was greater and he had a superior fighting style. Sairaorg was adapting as they fought, learning. What is more, it seems Sairaorg somehow sensed where Itachi was going to attack from before he did so.
Sairaorg dealt a heavy dropkick to the arena floor as Itachi sped around, causing a large chunk of the arena to split apart and disrupting Itachi's path. Sairaorg rushed at Itachi for a third time, throwing heavy and quick jabs. Itachi this time couldn't weave and dodge them, he blocked off the first two hits with his forearms. Although the third one hit its mark, hitting Itachi square in his cheek.
Itachi tumbled backwards a few steps, taking his hand to his cheek feeling something wet. Looking to his hand, he saw blood, his blood. Sairaorg had cut his face with his sharp destructive fists. "Is that it, rival?" Sairaorg shadow boxed the air, with a playful smirk on his face.
"I see…" Itachi narrowed his gaze at Sairaorg, having caught onto his little trick. "I can't say I am surprised, but I am happy to see you have improved so much when it comes to your own spirit. You used Senjutsu to sense where I was going to attack you from." Itachi revealed, and in fact it was true. Throughout the years of training, with teachings he and Itachi both had gotten from Kuroka. Sairaorg had been able to hone his spirit with Senjutsu, to the point where he could sense his opponents' patterns of attack. Sairaorg was by no means proficient when it came to Senjutsu like Kuroka. But in his own right, he was a natural prodigy, as Sairaorg through intense training before he even met Itachi, had stumbled onto Touki by accident. But through training with Itachi and Kuroka, Sairaorg was able to perfect his Touki and senses.
Itachi sighs, as this fight was getting steadily more interesting, yet also tiering. One thing Itachi was painfully aware of, was that his stamina was nothing compared to Sairaorg's who could run for days on end with no food, water or sleep. Itachi upped the gear of his Speed Mode, and rushed in directly at Sairaorg dealing a swift upper cut to his jaw. This time, Sairaorg did more than just reel his head backwards. Blood escaped from his busted lower lip. Itachi through speed, was able to gather up more force to his punches, but also with Touki his attack power was naturally boosted. "Not bad…" Sairaorg spat the blood out from his mouth, and dealt a knee strike to Itachi's chest.
Itachi however saw it coming, and blocked it off with his hands, pushing Sairaorg's knee down. Itachi sped around and dealt a spin kick to the back of Sairaorg's head knocking him down. Sairaorg quickly got up, and turned around to throw a heavy punch. Itachi moved out of the way, as the force of Sairaorg's punch created a strong shockwave that tore itself through the arena. Itachi appeared behind Sairaorg, elbowing him in his upper back while simultaneously kneeing him in the lower back.
Sairaorg falls hard face first to the ground, groaning as blood leaked out from his nose. "Heh, as expected of my rival…" Sairaorg took a leap, and jumped onto the towering rubble remains of his ruined King chess piece statue. "You really are fast, rival. Guess I will end the warm up." Sairaorg in his next move surprises Itachi, as Sairaorg rolls up his pants legs, revealing weights around his ankles.
'He's been fighting with weights this whole time?' Itachi was caught off guard, not having expected Sairaorg to take thing to such an extreme.
Sairaorg smiles, as he first removes his wristbands which were also revealed to be weights in disguise. Then Sairaorg proceeded to remove the weights around his ankles. Smiling, and letting out a sigh of relief Sairaorg stood up holding his weights out to the side. "I feel so much better!" Sairaorg declared as he dropped the weights.
From the infirmary, Kuroka watched along with the rest of the retired Sins. "Yeah right, like removing a few weights are going to make a difference…" Kuroka mumbles when suddenly she gasps in shock as the weights crashed so hard into the ground, they created two giant skyscraper sized dust clouds and left giant craters in the arena.
"Now then…" Sairaorg rotates his wrists a bit, and then he vanishes in a flash. Causing Itachi to widen his eyes, as he quickly turns around to be met with the destructive fist of Sairaorg to the face.
Itachi felt the vibration of Sairaorg's fist making contact with his face, and could only gasp in shock as Sairaorg appeared behind him in a flash. 'I can hardly react!' Sairaorg then kicks Itachi in his back, launching Itachi across the arena.
"Touki: Defense Mode!" Acting quickly, Itachi cloaked himself in an armor made out of water. As Sairaorg blitzed him again and threw another heavy hit, this time however the water armor of Itachi's Defense Mode softened the blow a bit.
"I knew I had to get fast! To get past your eyes! So, I steadily trained using weights! Starting off with roughly a ton on each limb! Then 3 tons! Then 6! 12! 24! And finally… I managed to train using over 500 tons on each limb!" Sairaorg's body then first now, began to glow in the white fiery aura of Touki. Sairaorg was moving as fast as Itachi in his Speed Mode, moving at light speed Sairaorg dealt heavy hits into Itachi's water armor. Each hit vibrating through the armor, and dealing damage to Itachi internally.
Quickly, the water changed into fire, as Itachi entered his Assault Mode. Catching Sairaorg's destructive fist, Itachi threw a hit of his own into Sairaorg causing him to bob his head backwards. Sairaorg smirked, as Itachi this time hit harder than Bob did earlier. Itachi increased the size of the fire around his free fist, and threw another hit although this time Sairaorg caught a hold of it. Both ended up in a power struggle, holding each other in place, their collective auras tore up the arena.
Itachi smiled as he gazed into Sairaorg's eyes. "Bastard, you've been holding out during our training sessions." Sairaorg returns with a smirk of his own. "Who is the sneaky one now?"
Sairaorg in return, chuckles. "Of course! I've been waiting for this proper rematch for years!"
In the stadium, several of Sona and Rias' peerage members stared in awe. "I've… never seen Itachi look like that during a battle before." Akeno mumbled out in awe, her boyfriend looking like he actually had fun fighting Sairaorg. "He's smiling…"
Rias sighs a bit, but smiles warmly upon seeing the battle. "Itachi may not show it often… But he still has some boyish tendencies to him. Itachi is more or less happy to see how much he and Sairaorg have both grown in power. Itachi is the type that loves seeing others strive to improve themselves."
"… In Itachi-senpai's memories, wasn't he sort of like this with that Shisui Uchiha guy as well?" Koneko asked.
"Heh, I guess he was. Although from what we saw, their sparring matches never reached such levels as this." Rias hummed a bit at the idea, Sairaorg and Itachi's relationship in some ways mirrored Itachi's relationship with Shisui more than she had expected. "Itachi and Sairaorg's relationship aren't as much as them being rivals… they are more like brothers if you ask me."
While Devils and Angels reacted in awe at the destructive force of the two prodigy young Devil combatants. The Gods, looked with mild interest at best at the level of power, some were envious at how close two Devil brats were to reach their power. But the higher-ranking Gods, as mentioned were mildly amused from this battle.
Amongst the Greek Pantheon Gods, Hades watches the game in silence and with a small interest. Zeus looks rather hyped up as he sees Itachi and Sairaorg duke it out. Poseidon on the other hand, looked relatively bored. "I can't believe other Gods want to compete in such games… Real Gods have no need for these team games, real Gods stand and fight alone." Poseidon sighed, nearly looking like he is about to fall asleep from boredom.
"Cheer up brother. We may not need to gang up on our opponents. But as a Pantheon, we do work together. Wouldn't you say so?" Hades looked to his younger brother, who groaned a little, but didn't seem to falter on the matter.
"You are far too lenient, brother… Gods have no need for schemes, no need for the herd, no need for support. Such things are meaningless, to those of us who have already attained perfection. However, elder brother… I will say fighting alongside you in the Titanomachy and Gigantomachy wasn't too bad. You weren't in the way like some people…" Poseidon commented throwing a look in Zeus' direction, who huffed and pouted at his older brother's comment.
"I said sorry, didn't I?! I just punched the guy, I didn't even see you fighting him already, alright?!" Zeus shouted in frustration, while Poseidon groaned with a sideways glare at his younger brother. While Hades chuckled at their antics.
"It is good to see you two act like children every now and then. How cute." Hades' comment irked both his brothers, who now collectively groaned at their elder brother.
"As always elder brother, you are troublesome fellow." Poseidon mumbled under his breath.
"A fricking busybody…" Zeus huffed.
As he enjoyed the spectacle briefly, the God of the Netherworld suddenly felt a presence of darkness from the corridor. Zeus slumped down in his seat as a result of this figures presence, and scoffed. "Great… she's here." Zeus groaned, really not wishing to deal with this person.
"Your level of fear for her, is something Hera should aspire to achieve brother." Poseidon let out a snarky comment to his younger brother, struggling to hold back a slight mischievous grin. Whereas Hera herself silently scowled as she gave a sideways glare at her husband Zeus.
"Hmph!" Zeus pouted and blew off Poseidon's comment, whilst also not even acknowledging the scowling face of his wife.
"I will go see what she is up to." Hades lightly chuckled, finding his younger brothers bickering and bantering of each other to be endearing. Leaving his throne, Hades walked towards the corridor. Hades with an indifferent look to this person approached her without care. "How come you are not watching the game?"
"I got bored…" The woman replied with a light yawn. "I don't care much to watch children during their playtime." The woman had hair as black as night, her skin as pale, smooth and beautiful as the moon itself. Her long black hair appeared to be glistening with small glints that resembled stars painted across the night sky. Her face resembled that of a cheeky child, and her ears were pointy. Dressed in a cute frilly dress some mortals would describe as "Godly Virgin Killer Clothes", she had a corset jumper skirt. And her body unleashed a tremendous dark aura, as she played around with a spinning spiral in the palm of her hand. "A fight between two kids always end up the same… too noisy and destructive." The Goddess added glistening stars and various planets and galaxies to the small spinning spiral.
"… So what? You decided to casually create a new universe?" Hades questioned as a single glance from his eye was enough to analyze the spiraling newly formed universe in this Goddesses hand. "The sheer weight… and the density of it. You created a universe as big as the mortal realm of the Core Worlds. Even for you, that is carless Nyx."
Nyx, the Greek Primordial Goddess of the Night. And after Hades himself, the second strongest God of the Greek Pantheon, and also one of the top 10 strongest beings in existence. Nyx with a childlike chuckle seemed to taunt Hades, as she added the finishing touches to the spinning black spiral of a Universe. Even though to the naked eye, it seemed like a tiny spiral that could barely fit into Nyx's tiny palm. The sheer weight, and the actual size of it rivaled that of the current mortal Universe. And like said Universe, it only continued to expand.
Nyx with her dark midnight blue eyes gazed into the fiery blue ember that was Hades' eye. Seeing the seriousness of the God of the Dead, Nyx sighed and presented the Universe in the palm of her hand to Hades. "Get rid of it for me, won't you Hades-kun?"
In the face of the snarky remark from Nyx, Hades lightly sighed as he reaches his hand out. The tip of Hades' finger touching onto the spinning black spiral of a Universe in Nyx's palm. As a pulsating energy emerged out from Hades' fingertip, the Universe in Nyx's hand began to collapse on itself, until it was erased completely. "You really shouldn't play around with creation that much. There are certain rules we Gods must follow."
Nyx snorted with laughter at the lecture. "Yeah right, like you ever cared about the rules." At Nyx's comment, Hades remained unamused and with a serious stoic expression on his face which caused Nyx to sigh. "You younger Gods are so uptight." Seeing Hades wasn't amused, Nyx let things be and merely smirked at the God of the Netherworld. "Well, are you here to drag me with you to where the rest of our Pantheon is seated?"
"I would, but I think your presence would only upset Zeus." Hades cracked a light smirk that he and Nyx shared. Knowing just how uncomfortable Zeus would be around Nyx. The Godfather of the Cosmos, wouldn't dare do anything to upset the Primordial Goddess of the Night.
"So, are we done here?" Nyx jumped to her feet, and gazed up on Hades who gave a mere nod. "Very well, see you, Hades-kun." Nyx turned her back and lightly waved her hand back at Hades.
"Ho? Don't tell me you aren't even the least bit interested in the Devil boy?" Hades gave a knowing smirk, knowing Nyx was bound to be curious like the other Gods.
"He shows potential. But I have already seen all I need to see for now. Bye now." Nyx had a menacing smirk as she gazed back to Hades, before vanishing in wave of darkness.
Hades' lip twitched up into a smirk, as usual Nyx remained unchanging. Being her typical self as usual. Hades with nothing more to do, casually returned to join his younger brothers in spectating the Rating Game.
Whilst Sairaorg in his Touki form bounces around the arena, in some cases outright out speeding Itachi. As Itachi has to switch between three of his Touki forms constantly. Switching between his Assault Mode to counterattack Sairaorg, his Defense Mode to block off Sairaorg's ferocious attacks. And Speed Mode to outmaneuver Sairaorg. Itachi might not think much of his own stamina, but it was clear from him switching between his Touki forms, that his stamina had gotten significantly better over the years.
Itachi uses his Senjutsu skills to sense Sairaorg, whilst also doing his best to use his Sharingan to track Sairaorg's movements. Itachi's Sharingan moves around, his gaze following every movement Sairaorg took around the arena although never catching sight of the man himself. Itachi reacted at hearing the faintest leap from behind him, rotating around to counter a blow from Sairaorg using his Assault Mode. Itachi brought up a wall of fire, but Sairaorg merely jumped through it and drop-kicked Itachi straight in the chest.
Itachi groaned, as he felt his ribs crack under the pressure of Sairaorg's kick. Blood erupting in a cough from Itachi's closed mouth. Sairaorg threw a destructive air cannon punch, the shockwave of the punch sending Itachi propelling into the air. Sairaorg took a giant leap, appearing behind Itachi as he threw another air cannon punch.
Itachi groaned as he was being kept in place mid-air, as Sairaorg kicked the air itself to bounce around Itachi and throw a series of air cannon punches to keep him locked in place. Fresh bruises appeared on Itachi's body, blood erupted from his mouth and broken nose as he continued to be bombarded with air cannon punches. Enduring the pain, Itachi swiftly switched over to Defense Mode, however the sheer force of Sairaorg's powerful fist shattered his defenses tearing a hole in Itachi's armor.
"Let's kick it up a notch! Rival!" Sairaorg declared as he made sure to pack more force into his next punch. Sairaorg's next air cannon punch suddenly turned into a flaming bullet that hit Itachi like a freight train. Itachi groaned and gasped in disbelief, feeling his Defense Mode already boiling.
From the stands, Marco Bael for the first time stands up looking in genuine shock. "Sairaorg… used fire?" Marco looked so stun locked, seeing his failure first born suddenly generate fire from his destructive fists. 'Did Sairaorg learn magic?' For a brief moment, Marco began to reconsider if Sairaorg wasn't such a failure after all. But no, his surprise quickly died down and turned into a look of disappointment and scorn.
"L-Lord Bael…" An elder looked confused as Marco sat back down. "I-I thought Sairaorg-kun, couldn't use magic-" The elder was met with a blast of Marco's aura that knocked him down.
"That isn't magic." Marco growled, having quickly seen past his son's deceit. Marco looked as Sairaorg continued to launce fire blasts from his punches into Itachi. "Sairaorg is simply punching the air fast and hard enough… that he creates a friction from his fists that sets the air on fire. There is no magic involved in that trick.
The elders' jaws practically hit the floor, as they realized how hard Sairaorg had to be punching if it meant he lit the air itself on fire from his punch. They all collectively looked impressed. They were about to praise Sairaorg's strength, but a quick look at the soured mood of Marco Bael was enough to keep them silent. "Failure…" Marco snarled under his breath. He took a deep breath, and calmed himself down. 'Be grateful you are my son, and been gifted with a strong body. But in the end, you are still a failure trying to mimic true power. But failure or not, no son of mine shall lose to such inferior blood.'
Itachi groaned being trapped in a fiery cage of air current cannons. Widening his eyes, Itachi unleashed a chilling aura as suddenly the flames Sairaorg launched at him froze into ice. Itachi stood there with ice armor, and an ice crown on his head. "Touki: Frost Demon Mode." Clearing the distance between him and Sairaorg, Itachi dealt a heavy gut punch to Sairaorg that had him buckle over in pain. Sairaorg clasped his hands onto Itachi's head, squeezing hard enough to crack the ice crown. Itachi flashed his Sharingan at Sairaorg, putting him in an illusion that had his arms melt clean off. Itachi then dealt a dropkick to Sairaorg's chest.
Sairaorg snapped out of the illusion, as the back of his head hit the ground. As Sairaorg gazed up, he saw giant skyscraper sized ice crystals raining down onto him. Kicking the ground, Sairaorg launched himself up towards the ice crystals, reeling his fist back Sairaorg smashed his fist into the first ice crystal causing it to shatter to pieces.
Itachi appeared in a flash before Sairaorg as the two exchanged a series of punches. The force of Sairaorg's punches carrying fire, and Itachi's sheer aura causing those flames to freeze. In this fight now, Itachi had the edge for now.
In the other fight taking place, both Regulus and Harry were evenly matched. The wild attacks of Regulus pushing Harry to utilize his full arsenal. From throwing miniature suns at Regulus, causing volcanic erupting earthquakes, space shattering punches. Regulus was durable enough to take it all. Harry's body appeared also to be badly injured, having suffered several more scratch marks from Regulus's fiery claws.
Harry leapt back, as he created hundreds of miniature suns around him. "Pride Ballade!" Unleashing a rain of miniature suns, Regulus weaved and dodged several of them, some he even tore through with his claws. But in the end, Regulus was overwhelmed and buried underneath the collected explosions of the mini suns.
Seeing the fight his pawn was going through, and realizing his own predicament as well. Sairaorg had to act with his new combo with Regulus. Whistling, Sairaorg signaled his pawn who quickly reacted. "Forgive me, Harry Newgate. Our fight will be brought to a halt for now." Regulus runs towards his master, leaving a bewildered Harry.
"Like I will let you team up against Itachi!" Harry kicked the ground bellow, launching himself on a giant rising pillar of earth that sent him flying across the arena at high speed.
"Regulus! Now!" Sairaorg called out, as Regulus began to glow as he pounced, not onto Itachi but rather onto Sairaorg himself. Itachi widened his eyes in slight confusion, as he saw Regulus sink his fangs and claws into Sairaorg. The two were enveloped by a golden light that blinded both Itachi and Harry momentarily. "The reason I kept Regulus around for this tag team battle… was because of this combo!" Sairaorg declared as the light cleared, revealing Sairaorg adorned with a golden Scale Mail like armor. A splendid golden lion's mane growing out from the back of his head, and a golden lion head at the center of his chest. "Regulus Rey Leather Rex!" Sairaorg announced his sub-species Balance Breaker form.
"That is… Balance Breaker?" Itachi was caught off guard for a moment, as Sairaorg a full-blooded Devil had a fused with a Sacred Gear like Regulus. Sairaorg cleared the distance between himself and Itachi, and punched Itachi straight in the face with a right hook.
Harry leapt over Sairaorg, and brought down his Flame Sword of Pride, only for Sairaorg to catch the flaming sword in his hand. Harry quickly acting reeled his free fist back, forming a spherical bubble around his fist of pure vibrating energy. Condensing the might of an earthquake into his fist, and fusing it with the fire of his Balance Breaker armor. "Shingen no Ichigeki: Fire Quake!" Ramming his hulking fist into Sairaorg's armor, Harry found first that his fire was countered by the flames of the Regulus armor. And what is more, Sairaorg caught the condensed spherical earthquake bubble fist.
Sairaorg reeled his own fist back, cloaked with the flames of Regulus. Harry stomped his boot to the ground, shattering the space between him and Sairaorg. Sairaorg smirked and threw such a powerful punch that he broke through the shattered space from Harry's Devil Fruit, and rams his fist in an upper cut to Harry's chest.
Harry buckled over, blood leaking out from his mouth and staining his white mustache red. That punch from Sairaorg vibrated through his very being, and unleashed a sheer sonic boom upon impact. Harry's ribcage was shattered, his heart and lungs also damaged as a result. Harry had never in his life, been punched that hard before.
Sairaorg pulled his fist out from Harry's chest, revealing a fist sized hole in the hulking old man's chest. Harry's pupils shrink, but he refuses to give in despite the intense pain. Harry grabs onto Sairaorg's head, and squeezes hard, whilst unleashing a giant firestorm around them. "I! Am! Harry Newgate! I yield to no man! Devil! Nor God!" Blood erupting from his mouth every time he spoke, followed by small wheezes.
"So strong…" Sairaorg smiles with pride, thinking his Peerage member Gandoma faced someone like this made him proud. Sairaorg reels his fist back once more, ready to deal a finishing blow that would knock out the old man. A bursting fiery red aura exploded from Sairaorg. Throwing a heavy full powered punch to Harry's jawline like he had done to Bob, Sairaorg's punch echoed through the Rating Game dimension and even to the stadium in the Underworld.
The rattling of the punch, had given Harry a concussion. He couldn't even form words as he stood perfectly still. The red fiery aura around Sairaorg quickly died down, and Sairaorg looked in confusion as Harry did not fall. "He can take more?" Sairaorg questioned, and was about to throw another punch.
"No master!" Regulus however quickly voiced out a protest. "He is done for… this prideful old geezer… he passed out." Regulus revealed, as Harry had indeed passed out as a result of the concussion. But through sheer spirit, Harry had refused to fall before losing consciousness.
Itachi landed in time to see his strongest peerage member, get enveloped in a bright blue light. "Harry…" Now Itachi was in absolute disbelief, he had seen the red fiery aura from Sairaorg again. The same aura he had used to knock out Bob, Sairaorg had used again to knock out Harry.
"Itachi Sitri, Rook, retired." Grayfia announced as the hulking form of Harry vanished before their eyes.
Itachi, was now left alone to fight Sairaorg with Regulus armor. Itachi wordlessly stared at Sairaorg, who had turned to face Itachi with his newly adorned golden armor. "I can tell you know? I can tell just how curious you are as to what that aura was… You've been wondering ever since I defeated Bob."
"It's not that complicated. A power multiplier it would seem, increased your power roughly tenfold from what I have seen. And with the strength boost from that armor… I can't really say I am that shocked you managed to take down Harry as well." Itachi calmly addressed Sairaorg who smirked at how perceptive Itachi was.
"Indeed, my physical strength, durability and stamina all grew tenfold back there. And Regulus armor, already doubles my basic strength." Itachi could see why Sairaorg wanted Regulus for this team battle, although Itachi couldn't deny it was a good strategy.
"Heh, I see… You have gotten a lot stronger, Sairaorg. Far stronger than I had ever imagined…" Itachi praised his friend, his brother, and Sairaorg seemed to feel genuinely touched at such praise.
"And you have gotten a lot stronger as well, rival. So? You going to continue and hold back on me?" Sairaorg cracked his knuckles, him and Itachi sharing a knowing smile as Itachi closed his eyes.
"No…" Itachi slowly opened his eyes. "Not anymore." Itachi's Sharingan morphed first into a black pinwheel, then into a red flower, then into a black flower with the peddles being curved like the pinwheel. Itachi's Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. "Now, it is my turn… to show you my growth in power." Red orangey flames begin to burn around Itachi, and rising out from these flames was a skeletal ribcage that surrounded itself around Itachi.
The Gods, in particular the Shinto Pantheon gasped at what they saw. Four giant spectral skeletal arms slamming onto the arena floor, as the ribcage continued to grow into a torso and at the top rose a fiery skeletal head. "Susano'o…" Itachi's skeletal Susano'o roared a battle cry to the heavens, leaving the Gods, Devils, Angels and humans awestruck.
Sairaorg is quick on the attack, reeling his fist back as Itachi's Susano'o does the same. The giant spectral fist gains flesh and skin, as it's fist clashes with Sairaorg. Their collective fists creating a storm of the golden fire of Regulus, and the fiery aura of the Susano'o.
In one of its other three arms, the Susano'o forms a giant sword that it smacks into Sairaorg sending him flying backwards. Sairaorg skids backwards as he manages to stick a landing, gazing up in shock to see Itachi's Susano'o having created a giant spinning bead of some kind in its hand. Sairaorg had seen this in Itachi's memories in Itachi, Naruto and Killer Bee's battle against Nagato.
"Yasaka Magatama!" The red spectral skeletal warrior chucked the spinning bead at light speed spinning towards Sairaorg. Sairaorg groaned as the bead clashed into him, and dragged him high into the air before erupting in a brilliant destructive explosion that rocked the entire Rating Game Dimension.
Itachi stared into the burning smoke cloud in the sky, and narrowed his gaze as he heard something that sounded like a gunshot. Sairaorg kicked himself out from the sky, and dived straight for Itachi and his Susano'o. Sairaorg slammed his fist into the head of the Susano'o, blowing it clean off in one blow using Regulus' fire.
Itachi closed his eyes, as he focused on his own energy. "Touki: Frost Demon Mode!" Utilizing his strongest Touki form, the color of Itachi's Susano'o changed from a fiery red, into an icy shade of blue. Ice and snow along with blue fire exploding from the spectral warrior, intense heat and intense cold was emitting from the Susano'o.
The Susano'o threw a heavy punch into Sairaorg, creating cracks in his Regulus armor. Itachi knew he needed to get rid of that armor, so he was preparing for another attack. Focusing his energy into his right eye, the wind itself began shifting towards Itachi as he was building up his energy.
"Regulus! Gattling Fiery Impact!" Sairaorg threw a series of punches, creating a giant wall of air cannons that bombarded into Itachi's Susano'o. The spectral giant's defensive ability was showing, as it endured the flaming air cannons launched into its entire being.
Coating his leg in the fire of Regulus, Sairaorg dropkicked the Susano'o atop of its head, cracking its skull open. The Susano'o quickly recovered, and roared in Sairaorg's face unleashing a chilling yet hot sensation as blue flames burnt at Sairaorg's armor and ice was beginning to form on it as well.
"Do not underestimate me and master Sairaorg! Your lukewarm flames are nothing to us!" Regulus boasted, sounding almost as prideful as Harry himself.
"Alright. Then how about these flames?" Blood dripped down from Itachi's right eye, as the air current was pulled towards him Regulus and Sairaorg both gasped in confusion. Feeling the danger, Sairaorg began to sprint to the side.
Moving at near light speed levels, Sairaorg soared around the arena and around Itachi. Itachi steadily followed Sairaorg with his gaze, focusing intently on the Bael heir. However, a problem presented itself for Itachi, Sairaorg moved too fast for his eyes to catch a glimpse of his actual form. Itachi needed Sairaorg in full view for this to work. Focusing on using his Senjutsu, Itachi's senses were already heightened from the use of Touki.
Sairaorg as he was running, threw air punches at the Susano'o launching golden flamed air cannons into the roaring spectral giant as it began growing flesh and evolve. Itachi's eyes began to catch up to Sairaorg, as he saw Sairaorg's feet every time he would take a leap. And that was all he needed to follow. "Amaterasu!" Itachi widened his right eye onto his target, flickering black fire emerged out of nowhere. Catching everything within Itachi's line of sight on fire, the flames beginning to burn the remains of the arena itself, creating a giant ring of black fire around them. Then it finally hit the heel of Sairaorg's foot, and the Bael heir was quickly consumed by the black divine flames.
The burning flames had yet to affect Sairaorg himself, as instead it was Regulus who screamed in pain within the armor. "Regulus!" Sairaorg looks in panic, feeling the heat even get to him as well.
"Master Sairaorg! You need to separate yourself from me! At this rate, you will burn too! These flames! Are divine flames! I can't overpower them!" Regulus gave his word of warning, and Sairaorg acting quickly complied as he disrobed himself of the golden armor.
Regulus reverted back into his lion form, still burning her roared and rolled around on the ground. "Itachi! Stop the fire! Put it out!" Sairaorg called out in panic, but Itachi was already on it. Groaning as he strained himself by focusing his right eye on the burning form of Regulus.
Regulus eventually reverted back to his human form, and then the black flames vanished off from him. Regulus laid there with his skin burnt, his clothes burnt off as he laid unconscious on the ground. Regulus began vanishing away in a blue light as Grayfia announced it. "Sairaorg Bael, Pawn, retired."
Sairaorg lowered his head to his beaten Pawn. "Well fought, Regulus… I will take it from here." Sairaorg held his fists up, as he stood face with Itachi and his giant fiery spectral Susano'o.
Watching the game in awe, Sirzechs and the other four Maou watch with great pride. Sirzechs looked over to Serafall, seeing her smile yet she looked rather sad. "Are you alright, Serafall?"
"Yeah… Just… wished Behemoth could be here to see It-tan now. He would be so proud." Serafall sniffled a little, keeping on a brave face as she looked at her younger brother's back with great pride. "To think… a few years ago he was so small. Look at him now."
"Mm, I know how you feel. I think the same when I look at Rias… They grow up so fast." Sirzechs sighed.
"One thing is for sure…" Ajuka spoke as he carefully eyed the God's V.I.P section. "Itachi and Sairaorg… They have both reached the realm of Gods in power." Ajuka said as he overheard whisperers amongst the Gods watching these two young Devils fight. Despite these peaceful times, it seemed like quite a few Gods took it like an insult that two young Devils had reached their realm of power. While other higher ranked Gods like Zeus, Poseidon, Odin, Baldur, Vidar looked somewhat intrigued. While several of the highest-ranking Gods like Indra, Thor, Hades, Shiva looked indifferent.
At hearing this, Falbium Asmodeus nodded. The bald Maou rubbed his beard. "Both have certainly surpassed myself and Serafall here…"
"Yes, and they have surpassed Azazel as well. Both of them have grown so strong. And are excellent candidates for future Super Devils." Sirzechs smiles warmly, seeing two young Devils striving to grow stronger like this, showing such results and resolve, made Sirzechs feel pride in the new generation. "Both Itachi and Sairaorg, bring out the best in each other."
"Heh, yeah kind of like us." Ajuka lightly chuckled, as he compared the Sitri and Bael heir to himself and Sirzechs.
"They push each other to great new heights. They are best friends… rivals… and most of all, like brothers. Had one of them never existed, had the Unseen One not reincarnated Itachi into this world, they would never have reached this level of power in such a short amount of time. Without Sairaorg, Itachi would never have gained the interest to learn more about Touki and as a result, Senjutsu as well. Without Itachi, Sairaorg would never have pushed his body to such limits and learn more about Senjutsu. Each of them are on the level of a Maou, and that of a regular God." Sirzechs actually shed a tear, as he warmly smiled at the two young Devils fighting. "What a beautiful battle."
Just as everyone seems to think it is over for Sairaorg, as he seems to face impossible odds standing before the Susano'o. Sairaorg smiles, and further surprises everyone as his body explodes with the red fiery hot aura. "I still have one final trump card left to play! I am not out of this game just yet!" Sairaorg's muscle mass begins to expand, his skin turns fiery hot red and his eyes go pure white with no visible pupil. "Touki! Monster state!" Sairaorg explodes with a fiery red-hot aura, that nearly blows Itachi and his Susano'o down. "By learning to adapt my spirit more into my Touki form, I stumbled across this! A form which increases my power, the more my spirit gets heated up in battle! And you, Itachi! Have lit a fire under my spirit that won't be snuffed out!" This form that Sairaorg briefly used against both Bob and Harry to increase his own attack power tenfold. "But I am not done yet!" Sairaorg announced, revealing he was far from reaching his limit.
"This form… it looks like…" Itachi gasped as he got the image of a certain bowl cut fierce blue beast of battle from Konoha.
Sairaorg grinds his teeth, pushing himself further as the veins on his body grow visible. Although Sairaorg's veins looked like they had magma flowing through them, instead of blood as they began to glow. "Touki! Monster Overdrive!"
Itachi stood there absolutely baffled, as he couldn't help but think. 'D-Did Sairaorg just accidentally stumble across the Eight Inner Gates? No… but it seems to hold a similar concept.'
Sairaorg exhaled his breath, as he sprinted at full speed towards Itachi, leaving craters in his wake for every step. Space itself began bending around Sairaorg for every step he took, as he even began kicking the air itself to advance on Itachi.
Sairaorg dealt a fierce dropkick to Itachi's Susano'o, annihilating its entire torso in one swoop. Itachi gasped, and quickly acted by slamming the fist of his Susano'o into Sairaorg. However, the Bael heir easily held back the arm of the Susano'o, and crushed it within his grip. Sairaorg's Devil body seemed not to suffer the side effects of one who would use the Eight Inner Gates. Sairaorg's strong Devil body not taking any damage, no matter what risky move he pulled.
Sairaorg jumped down before Itachi, and dealt a blitzing spin kick into Itachi's Susano'o, shattering its entire ribcage, his kick continuing to plow through until he reached Itachi. Sairaorg's kick shattered the bone in Itachi's arm, and broke some of his ribs as well, as Itachi was launched out from his own Susano'o. "Not yet!" Sairaorg kicked the remains of the Susano'o, and flew towards Itachi dealing a fiery dropkick into Itachi's chest.
Blood erupted like a fountain from Itachi's mouth, although suddenly Itachi exploded in a fiery explosion. The real Itachi clawed himself out from a hole in the arena, out of breath he looked at Sairaorg emerging from the fiery smoke unharmed. "Frost Demon Domain!" Itachi used the power of his Frost Demon Mode to attempt to freeze the fiery aura around Sairaorg.
But, Sairaorg's flaming hot spirit caused the ice to melt around him. Itachi looked in disbelief, with this ability Itachi could freeze over a country larger than Japan itself, and Sairaorg's sheer aura melted the ice like nothing. 'How much heat and stress is Sairaorg putting on his own body?' Itachi thought, as he rebuilds his Susano'o, this time taking it to its fully armored upper body state.
Sairaorg gazed at the giant armored spectral upper body warrior before him, seeing it armed with a sword and giant shield. "Sairaorg… I will face you with my full power this time!" Itachi declared, causing Sairaorg to look with initial shock. Although that shock was replaced by a smirk of excitement, as Sairaorg's aura powers up even more.
"I wouldn't expect anything else! I will give you the honor of doing the same!" The magma flowed through Sairaorg's veins, as he launched himself forward like a flaming bullet. Sairaorg's aura glowed with such intensity and power, that it took the shape of a roaring lion.
Itachi's Susano'o was then cloaked in lighting, rotating wheels of fire and water spinning around it, and its color turning icy blue instead of its regular fiery red. Itachi slams the Yata Mirror into the charging Sairaorg, knocking the eager Bael into the air. Sairaorg twirled around midair, and threw an air cannon flaming punch into the Susano'o. Just barely getting past Itachi's Yata Mirror, as it crashed into the torso of the Susano'o, creating a large gaping hole going through the spectral warrior.
Sairaorg bounces around the Susano'o taking its back and dealing a destructive fiery kick that shatters its armor. Itachi groans as he rebuilds the damage to his spectral warrior, unleashing a blunt force of its aura that knocks Sairaorg back a step. Itachi threw his dominant arm back, and thrusted it forward at Sairaorg. Unleashing a streaming current of water, the water evaporated into steam upon contact with Sairaorg's fiery hot body.
"Inferno Fireball!" Itachi flashed his Mangekyou, unleashing a fireball mixed with the black fire of Amaterasu. The soaring fireball clashed into Sairaorg, blowing up in his face, with the black flames burning at Sairaorg's aura.
Sairaorg let out a mighty war cry, as he rushed at Itachi and threw a heavy punch into the Susano'o breaking another hole into it, with the force of Sairaorg's punch hitting Itachi square in the gut. Itachi collapsed to his knees from the force of Sairaorg's punch. Sairaorg's newly acquired strength was unreal. And yet, there was still realms upon realms of power they both had yet to reach. To various of the Gods present today, they could most likely take a direct punch from Sairaorg now and not flinch. Such a fact, was frightening to Itachi, frightening yet also intriguing at the same time.
Itachi smacks the Totsuka blade slashing to the ground between him and Sairaorg, even if Itachi was going all out as he was now. He still wouldn't use the Totsuka blade to attack Sairaorg. If Sairaorg ended up accidentally pierced by the blade, he would be sealed after all, and a slash from it might even kill him if not careful.
Ajuka watching the game awkwardly scratched his cheek. "You uh, you think we should have let Itachi use his Divine Weapons for this game?" Ajuka asked Sirzechs, as they had asked Itachi to not use the weapons here. Not just to protect Sairaorg from its divine properties, but also because they didn't want the Gods present to overact to seeing them.
"I don't think so. This fight is more than fair." Sirzechs declares, as with his experienced eyes he could see Itachi wasn't totally outclassed and neither was Sairaorg. At this rate, it came down to who could endure the longest.
Itachi was in deep thought, as he had his Susano'o continue to battle with Sairaorg. Unleashing torrents of lightning into the Bael heir to keep him at bay, and waves of fire. 'Sairaorg's body is too durable to damage with regular magic attacks. I could use Senjutsu to damage his blood cells and inner organs… but that might cause some irreparable damage. And I saw how Kuroka was after overusing Senjutsu herself. My best bet, is a Genjutsu. Sairaorg might know how to counter regular visual genjutsu. Luckily, I still have one card to play.' Itachi thought as he began focusing his energy into his left eye. 'Although Sairaorg's spirit could potentially last in the nightmare realm, I can still weaken him enough to win.'
Itachi having a game plan, slams the Totsuka blade into the ground, gathering up a large wall of earth as Itachi actually split the arena itself in two. Itachi had the two free hands of his Susano'o form belts of Yasaka beads. "Yasaka Magatama!" Tossing the spinning belts of beads into Sairaorg, the Bael heir was knocked around in the air as the beads exploded in a series of explosions.
Indra hums lightly at the battle, tilting down his glasses he smirks. "Interesting~" On the other hand, Indra's son Arjuna was genuinely shaken up. Itachi and Sairaorg were both just about as strong as him, maybe even stronger, and that infuriated the son of Indra.
While on the other Hindu Pantheon booth, Shiva looked with great interest. "Such lovely destruction~ These two boys are good~" Vishnu and Brahma calmly watched, but they had to admit that both young Devils showed great potential.
Then there was the Norse Pantheon. Magni, Modi and Thrud eagerly cheered at the battle, genuinely invested. Sif just focused on her husband, who looked relatively indifferent to the battle. Vidar and Baldur looked with intrigue. But Odin, Odin was watching with a frightful look in his eye. A great interest, and yet a great concern filled his heart as he sees Itachi's newly awakened powers in person. He was especially focused on Itachi's Susano'o. 'Flaming… sword wielding giant…' Odin had a visible cold sweat run down his wrinkly forehead. 'Groa said fire giant… she didn't mean Surtr at all. When she said fire giant, I had just assumed it was Surtr.' This experience solidified Odin's concern, that Itachi was indeed Ragnarök personified.
The Gods that watched with the greatest of interest, was the Shinto Pantheon. Amaterasu had stood up the moment Itachi had begun demonstrating his Mangekyou abilities. 'Those black flames… are like unrefined versions of my own. And that spectral warrior… just like Susano'o. He is from that world after all…' Amaterasu shakingly clenched her fist, the world her mother and father had made, the world of Shinobi. The Uchiha clan, those eyes, there was no mistaking it. Amaterasu governing all universes within the influence of Shintoism, recognized all these abilities Itachi was displaying.
"See sister?" Tsukuyomi smiled as he crossed his arms. "We need no further proof, than to claim Itachi as one of our own now. He is using God energy enhanced versions of the Uchiha clan's abilities after all."
"Are you behind this?" Amaterasu shakingly asks, visible anger masking her face. "Did you have the guts… to give a Devil our abilities? Or is it mother?"
"No, no sister. I would never. But Itachi is no mere Devil. Surely you see it. He is a reincarnated Uchiha, turned Devil. He was brought from the world father and mother made, the world of the Shinobi, and here to core world." Tsukuyomi denied any involvement in Itachi's reincarnation.
"A reincarnation? Then it must have been mother… Her land of Yomi is the afterlife, to all the universes under our influence after all… The after life, of all the universes us Shinto Gods have made. If he is a reincarnated, his spirit must have been taken from Yomi itself." Amaterasu revealed as it was the only conclusion she could reach.
"That's the thing sister…" Susano'o spoke up. "Mother isn't behind this. I traveled to Yomi shortly after the battle with Loki to uncover intel from her. Mother says two souls from her realm have gone missing in the last two decades or so. She didn't give it much thought… but without a doubt. Someone infiltrated Yomi, unnoticed, unseen from mother's eyes, and took those two souls." At this Tsukuyomi raised a brow.
"Two? There is another?" Tsukuyomi practically smiled, feeling like rubbing his hands together. As this information greatly intrigued him. Especially if this second soul had divine enhanced abilities like Itachi did.
"I didn't say anything before… because I wasn't fully sure myself. But now, there is no doubt in my mind. Itachi is one of those souls, and a reincarnation." Susano'o revealed, and this information greatly angered Amaterasu.
"Someone… went into my domain? And stole from us?" Shaking with anger Amaterasu unleashed white and black flames from her very being. "The nerve!"
"What about Itachi, sister?" Tsukuyomi changed the topic, and Amaterasu seemed to calm down.
"… It is a strange sensation." Amaterasu revealed, as she gazed onto the Sitri heir. "When I look at him… it feels like I am watching my own child. Seeing him use our powers like this, how could I not feel this way?"
"Then we will claim him?" Tsukuyomi asked looking rather eager.
"Brother, it is not our decision." Susano'o scolded his older brother for showing such eagerness.
"Why wouldn't he join us? He would become a God, who in their right mind doesn't want to be a God?" Tsukuyomi asked, showing a great deal what his ideology was with that question alone. "Besides, do we let the Devils keep someone with our powers?"
"They are our allies." Susano'o strictly opposed his brother's suggestion.
"… For now, we will do nothing." Amaterasu ended the discussion, both her brothers falling silent. Although Tsukuyomi looked upon his sister's back with scorn in his eye.
The Greek Gods watched with mild interest at best. Poseidon looked to Hades for some insight. "Do you think this Sitri Devil might be a new deity in the making? Some form of Devil God?" Poseidon expressed some form of curiosity to Itachi's origin.
"Hmm, certainly looks like it, doesn't it?" Hades hummed, rubbing his chin as he gazed onto the young Sitri heir on the screen. "He sure is something…" Hades mumbled.
Zeus on the other hand, is just excited as he jumps up and down in his seat. "At this rate I need a fight or a woman to calm myself!" Zeus looks down to his wife Hera, and smiles eagerly. "Hey Hera, want to meet me later in the bathroom or something?" At the question Hera's face flushes a little red.
"Like I would degrade myself into having sex in a bathroom stall." At Hera's comment, Zeus bellows laughing.
"Man, I just can't wait until we get home… Maybe I should just find someone else to calm myself with?" Zeus gazes down around the stadium in search of some nice-looking women. Ignoring the dangerous look Hera threw his way. While Hades only sighs at his youngest brother's antics.
With the arena collapsing around them, Itachi and Sairaorg were free falling into the void of the Rating Game dimension. "Let's end this!" Sairaorg declares, as he gets ready to rush forward. Latching onto a piece of the split arena, Sairaorg digs his fingers into the floor, bends his right knee forward while leaning his left leg far back.
"I agree…" Itachi had his Susano'o ready the Yata Mirror, ready to take on the full blunt force of Sairaorg's kick. The shield itself even began to expand, covering the entire front of the Susano'o as the Yata Mirror changed its properties and shape.
"Here I come! Finisher move! Bael Destruction Spear!" Sairaorg's aura turns into a roaring lion's head. Sairaorg kicks the floor beneath him shattering his split half of the arena to rubble as he rushes towards Itachi. Kicking the air to advance towards Itachi, whilst gathering immense power into his legs.
Sairaorg leaps up once within range, and deals a devastating kick into the Yata Mirror. Sairaorg's sheer power exploding in a blinding display, shattering any remains of the arena with its mighty shockwaves. And the clashing force of Itachi's Yata Mirror and Susano'o mixed with his Frost Demon Mode.
In this final clash, the combined powers of Sairaorg and Itachi was so destructive, that the empty void of the Rating Game broke apart and ended up destroyed. As Itachi and Sairaorg now merely floated around in a white void with no beginning or end. A violent display of electricity and fire power crackled and burnt in this empty void as a result of these two rivals clashing. The void itself begins to rapidly change color as a result of their collective powers. Burning bright red from Sairaorg's aura, and then a chilling blue from Itachi's aura.
The very Underworld itself began to tremble, as what was happening in the void affected the outside. The stadium itself trembled from an earthquake as a result, and looked close to collapsing. All anyone sees on the screen, is the giant spectral avatar of Itachi's Susano'o taking on the ferocious burning red lion of Sairaorg's aura. The shockwaves of Sairaorg's kick vibrated over the Yata Mirror, and even managed to reach the Susano'o behind the shield as well. The spectral warrior began to crack from this intense pressure, this was a classic case of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object.
Even with his Susano'o slowly gaining cracks in its armor, Itachi glanced up at Sairaorg and looked worried. "Sairaorg?" Itachi called out, as the Yata Mirror began to glow, yet Sairaorg made no effort to remove himself from the shield and only continued to push forward. The sound of a rapid beating heart reached Itachi's ears; it came from Sairaorg. The strain he was putting on his body, was affecting his heart. With his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, Itachi saw a large concentration of energy in Sairaorg's heart. At this rate, with the strain Sairaorg was putting on his body, his heart would give out.
The Yata Mirror fully absorbed the force of Sairaorg's kick, Sairaorg was smiling as he kept pushing forward. He and Itachi locked eyes, and they both were thrown for a loop down memory lane. Both getting an image of themselves as their younger selves from when they fought for the very first time. And both were thinking the same thing. 'We've come so far.'
As their collective clashing energies merged together, red and blue turned into a burning dark purple color of vibrating energy. Itachi's left eye was done charging, as he focused his gaze into Sairaorg's eyes. "Tsukuyomi!" Sairaorg widened his eyes, his heart beat growing steady, as suddenly the full blunt force of his kick was reflected right back at him through the effects of the Yata Mirror.
A large fiery explosion erupted within this void, and the screens on the stadium lost their signal. Leaving everyone gasping in shock, wondering what happened to the two young Devils. Their answer came, in the sudden form of a tear in space itself. Breaking out from the sky like it was made of glass, both Itachi and Sairaorg fell free falling down towards the stadium.
Itachi had used his Tsukuyomi, to not only knock Sairaorg out, but also calm down his alarming heartbeats. Itachi stared into the unconscious face of Sairaorg, as they were both falling down circling each other. Shakingly, Sairaorg regains his consciousness and stares into the black eyes of Itachi. Both looking tired, as they continued to fall for what them seemed like an eternity. Even though it was only for a few seconds.
Rushing in from the stadium, Rias flew to the sky along with Akeno. Kuisha rushed out from the infirmary, and took flight to the sky as well. Rias and Akeno caught the freefalling Itachi, and Kuisha caught the freefalling Sairaorg. "Itachi! Sairaorg! Can you hear us?" Rias asked frantically, and was met with a slow nod from Itachi and a shaking thumbs up from Sairaorg.
They landed onto the center of the stadium, where Itachi was the first one to sit up straight. Sairaorg couldn't move, the Yata Mirror having reflected the full power of Sairaorg's own kick back at him. And now, Sairaorg couldn't move a muscle. "Heh, had to beat me with another illusion, huh?" Sairaorg cracks a smile as he looks up on Itachi.
"You are not going to call it unfair, are you? I mean I did it also to save your life." Itachi jokingly asks, causing Sairaorg to weakly laugh.
"Nah, why should I be mad at you for just using a technique in your arsenal? It's my fault anyway, in the heat of the moment I forgot about that little move and shield of yours. I also ignored my own condition in order to continue the fight." Sairaorg looks up the sky with a satisfied smile on his face. "I admit defeat, I've lost this one. Next time, I need to look out better for those dangerous eyes of yours."
Itachi lightly chuckles, as he falls down next to Sairaorg looking up in the sky. "Right, and I will keep a look out for that destructive fist of yours. Seriously, you are the most destructive Bael out there." Itachi comments as not only their whole arena, but the entire Rating Game Dimension was destroyed as a result of their fight.
With a heavy sigh, Sairaorg smiles and looks a bit embarrassed. "You know, the old man ain't gonna like you for saying that." Sairaorg says referring to his father Marco Bael.
"His opinion doesn't matter to me, nor should it to you. You have gained this amazing power all on your own." At receiving such a compliment, Sairaorg shed a single tear as he weakly holds his arm out for a fist bump towards Itachi. Itachi stretches his arm out, and connects his fist with Sairaorg's.
"Thank you, brother…"
"Winner of the last semifinal match, and the one who shall advance to the finals. Is Itachi Sitri!" Itachi's victory was shortly announced by Grayfia.
Quickly rushing down to the stadium was Raven followed by Ravel Phenex and Asia. Ravel bringing Phenex tears, Raven ready with her magic, and Asia with her Twilight healing. All collectively began healing the two injured rivals. Itachi and Sairaorg both sat up, and exchanged a smile while everyone was fussing over them.
The sound of applause filled the colosseum, with the side of the higher-class Devils being mostly silent. The elders were profoundly sweating and gaping in terror. All the elders visibly flinched at the crunching sound followed by the intense rumbling of Lord Bael's aura. Shakingly the elders turned around to face the great Lord Bael. Marco's grip onto the armrests of his throne had splintered the wood, and a dangerous purple aura burned around him.
Marco Bael's eyes glared with anger, feeling as the mighty name of Bael had been dragged through the mud following Sairaorg's loss. "L-Lord Bael…" And elder flinched, and found himself blown back as Marco merely turned to glare at him. The force of his aura cleared all the Devils around him, leaving the area of the colosseum around him cracked and ruined.
At the far side, the stoic bored face of a young man who greatly resembled Sairaorg himself. Only a less muscular version, and slightly shorter. With a gentle pretty boy face, straight black hair and violet-colored eyes. Sairaorg's half-brother, Magdaran Bael watched their father's anger with light amusement. His indifferent gaze went over to the arena to his half-brother. Magdaran, unlike his older half-brother, was born with the power of Destruction. And originally, his father Marco had been proud of him for that. But then, Sairaorg challenged Magdaran for the title of heir to the Bael family, and won. And then, his father's once proud gaze turned into one of scorn and disgust. Disowned by his father, like his half-brother was, Magdaran took small pleasures in seeing his father seething with anger. But more than that, he also enjoyed seeing Sairaorg get beaten in battle. "I'm not surprised." Was all the young Bael had to say, as he turned his back to the arena and left.
Higher above where the high-class devils, were two other figures observing the game. A woman playfully giggled with a mischievous smirk. She was leaning back against a camel of all things. "Ah, it seems like your descendant lost~" The woman says in a devilish tone.
The man sounded calmer, yet his deep voice carried a sensation of great pride. "Yes, well that young Sitri Devil showed exceptional power. As did my descendant. I have no complaints." He sounded like a gentleman, and was seated on a throne next to the woman.
"Really?" The woman scratched her camel underneath it's chin, whilst feeding it a little. "Seems like your other descendant, the current Lord Bael feels differently… I wonder if he will throw a hissy fit over this." The woman brushed aside her long crimson red hair.
The man sighs, feeling there was indeed need for concern. "I will talk with Marco. He values my opinion quite a great deal." The man looked rather middle aged. He had black hair and peaceful violet looking eyes. Dressed in the attire of a nobleman, he carried a strong aura of dignity that exudes from him. Zekram Bael, the first and the founder of the mighty Bael family. A first-generation Devil. A man that carried more political power than either of the Four Maou, as he was the de-facto leader of the New Maou Faction during the civil war after the original Four Maou died. Zekram Bael, was the one who handpicked the current Four Maou for their individual titles.
Zekram looks to the woman, her long crimson red hair that were tied into twin tails. Looking to be around Itachi and Rias' age. Her eyes intently looked onto Itachi Sitri in the arena, with Rias Gremory crouched next to him tending to his wounds. The woman smiled, puffing out her huge bosom. Her body was nearly identical to that of Rias, only she was relatively shorter. And instead of blue, her eyes were lavender in color, her eyes upturned; a little strong willed unlike Rias' gentle ones. She had a small crown-like accessory on top of her head. She wore a female Kuoh Academy uniform topped off with black knee socks.
Despite her appearance, she like Zekram was a first-generation Devil. The originator of the house of Gremory. Zekram looked to her with a curious gaze. "I must say, I didn't expect you here. Your, well, our descendant I should say, has already ascended to the finals. I wouldn't have expected you to wake from your hibernation so soon." Zekram commented, to which the woman gave a mischievous giggle.
"Guess I wanted to see what my family's future in-law was like." Her lavender eyes focused intently onto Itachi with great interest. "Seems a bit too serious for my liking. But he is plenty strong. If Rias-chan is happy with him, then that is all that matters. I'm getting excited for the family reunion already~" Her beautiful youthful face smiled with excitement. "Waku~ Waku~" Her lavender eyes glinting, topped off with her smile made her seem sparkly. Runeas Gremory, first-generation of the Gremory family, felt giddy as she kicked her legs up and down.
The Gods all looked relatively impressed with the battle, some of them anyway. In particular Amaterasu's face radiated with a satisfactory smile at the result of the Rating Game. "As to be expected…" Amaterasu giggled, sounding a bit like a proud mother watching her child accomplish greatness.
"It was a splendid battle." Susano'o smiled like his sister, although unlike his sister and brother, Susano'o showed interest in not just Itachi but Sairaorg as well. "They are both quite exceptional Devils."
"Heh, both of them? Please, Itachi is beyond exceptional. Not to mention calling him a devil at this point is redundant." Tsukuyomi on the other hand completely dismissed the efforts of Sairaorg, and only sung Itachi's praise. "No Devil can wield that kind of Divine power. We all know it… And the Devil elders seem to catch on as well. He will be even more alienated from them than he already was as a result. It would be for the best if we just accept him into the fold already." Tsukuyomi pressed on his incentive of Itachi joining the Shinto Pantheon.
"What elders don't make young ones feel alienated? Every generation is different… We should know that better than anyone." Susano'o raised a brow at his brother's statement, he had a good idea what Tsukuyomi was plotting, but he doubted his brother would get his wish so Susano'o paid it no further mind.
"Enough yapping. Let's leave…" Amaterasu dismissed her brothers, and took the lead walking out of their booth. Both brothers sighed and reluctantly followed their sister.
As the three brilliant siblings of the Shinto Pantheon walked down the hall, the presence of another deity confronted them at the exit. "Leaving so soon?" It was the Hindu God of War, Indra. All three Shinto Gods stared upon the Lord of the Heavens with cautious eyes.
"What do you want, Indra?" Amaterasu was quick to get to the point, as she stared down the God of Storms and Rainfall from the Hindu Pantheon.
Indra gives the Sun Goddess a mischievous looking smirk. "I saw your boy down there, pretty impressive." Indra pointed out, referring undoubtedly to Itachi. "How did you manage to sneak him into the High-Class Devil society?" Indra's casual insinuation and suspicion of their involvement in Itachi's reincarnation irked the Sun Goddess as she frowned.
"We have no idea of that child's origin. He is not one of us." Indra doubted Amaterasu's words, as he put his hands into his pockets as he casually approached the three Shinto Gods.
"Is that so? No idea, eh? Weird, because here is how I see it. The kid has the power of all three of you, plus your mommy and daddy. And what is more, he has your silky-smooth black hair and demeanor." Indra said as he circled around Amaterasu, his stature towering over her as Amaterasu stood at barely 5 feet, even with her height boosting sandals, compared to Indra that was over 6 feet. "He has Tsukuyomi's resting stoic face." Indra looked towards the Moon God, and then finally over to Susano'o. "And the strength of Susano'o. I mean, how odd is that, am I right? Is he one of you two fuckboys illegitimate son? Huh, one of you get freaky in the sheets with Lady Sitri?" Indra walks over to Susano'o and casually puts his arm around the Shinto Storm God looking awfully chummy. "Come on, we're kinda like neighbor Gods, right? You guys, us and the Buddha. Be a friendly neighbor and let me in on the fun~"
Susano'o looks with his calm gaze at Indra, as he slowly brushes Indra's arm off him. Susano'o calmly looks to the Hindu God and smiles. "We both know you could read our minds to find out the truth. So, if you are so curious, why not take a peek?" Susano'o casually leaned in closer nearly placing his forehead against Indra's.
Indra drops his smile, and looks with cautious eyes as he can tell. As a fellow Storm God, Indra could tell by looking into Susanoo's eyes. The eyes of the Shinto Storm God radiated with pure power, his gaze fully focused, and by having leaned in so close to gain Indra's attention. Indra had barely noticed that Susano'o also held onto the handle of his blade, that was ready to be drawn at any given moment. "Oh, we about to clash Storm God of Shinto?" Indra regained his smirk, as his aura clashed with the aura of Susano'o. Both auras were so focused, that the area didn't tremble as a result. Their laser focused auras were meant to intimidate, not to destroy. It was the calm before the storm. "I'm down, but not sure how the rest will react to two of the Top 10 Strongest Gods fighting each other~"
Finally, Amaterasu puts her foot down. "Enough! Susano'o, leave that fool alone." At the command from his sister, Susano'o quietly backed down.
Indra chuckled. "You are right though. I could read your minds. But honestly grilling you to find the answer to such a scandal is far more amusing." The four Gods were suddenly alarmed as more footsteps approached them.
The Hindu God seemed not to be the only one who decided to confront the Shinto sibling Gods. "Despite his wording. Indra is right." The strongest out of all the mortal Gods, Thor arrived along with All Father Odin. "If you secretly plan to use that child for some sort of sick gain, spill it now or regret it later." Thor casually threatened, as he held Mjolnir firmly in his grip. Odin gleamed at the sight of nervosity from the other Gods at the presence of Thor.
Following the two Norse Gods, were the three brothers of Olympus. "Ohoho! Is there about to be a fight?" The shakingly old looking Zeus asked with a glint in his eye, as he seemed rather excited. Both his older brothers Poseidon and Hades by his side. Already, Poseidon was armed with his trident, and Hades although had his hands tucked into his pockets had created a magic restraining circle underneath all of their feet.
"Surprise, surprise, seems Indra has caused a lot of trouble as usual~" The giggling voice of the childlike looking Shiva had Indra flinch. The God of War turned a sideways glare, his pupil vibrating with pure rage as he glared at the God of Destruction. The three pillar Gods of the Hindu Pantheon, Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu also joined in on this little meeting. The blue haired childlike Shiva smirked, as he suddenly grew in mass and height. His hair turning messy, and his body growing very muscular. Growing from barely five feet, and to match Thor's own height at over seven feet. Shiva's skin turning blue, and his hair turned darker. Another pair of arms grew out from his body, and a third eye opened on his forehead. His eyes remaining half open and still emitted a sense of bottomless divinity and limitless superiority. His voice sounding deeper and more masculine as he spoke. "Are we going to have a problem here?" Shiva kept his eyes focused on three particular individuals, Thor, Hades and Indra those that he deemed as the strongest foes present.
The God of Thunder gave Shiva a cautious glare, the only other mortal God that rivaled his power. Odin also seemed to be annoyed at the presence of the God of Destruction for but a moment, as he quickly regained his composure. "Ho, no need to shy away back there…" Odin gazed behind him, as emerging out from the shadows were the Egyptian God Aten and the Celtic God Lugh.
At this Indra smiled from ear to ear. "Ho? Looks like several of the strongest Gods are together in one room~" Missing only the Greek Primordial Goddess of the Night, Nyx. And the Primordial fire Giant of the Norse, Surtr. All the strongest mortal Gods were present. "Missing only Fenrir, Surtr and Nyx… and we would have had all the strongest Gods here. Oops, oh no wait that's right… Surtr is dead, isn't he?" Indra shot Odin a knowing smirk, as he had heard that the Primordial fire Giant had perished during the Loki event.
"Indeed, Loki, Angrboda and Fenrir killed him before that group of Devils and Susano'o could step in." Odin calmly replied whilst stroking his beard, his laid-back attitude really seemed to irk Indra however.
"That so?" Indra chuckled, granted Fenrir wasn't that much weaker than Surtr so it would have been a possibility for Loki and Angrboda to team up with their strongest son to slay the giant. But Indra knew better, why would Loki kill a crucial player to his little Ragnarök? Without Surtr, Ragnarök could not happen according to Groa's prophecy. And Indra being a quick logical thinker, looked to the other possibility. Thor, the God of Thunder was more than powerful enough to slay Surtr.
Little did Indra know, that Groa's prophecy of Ragnarök had been nothing more than a lie. Odin however knew, and he didn't want Indra catching on, just yet. The Chief Norse God seemed not to be worried of Indra reading his mind on the matter. Nor worried that Indra might read Thor's mind.
Indra glared at the two Norse Gods, although slowly his expression lost its confidence, and was replaced with a feeling of confusion. '… I can't read their minds.' Indra looked dead serious, his smirk fading into a frown. Somehow Odin had found a way to block the sight of Indra's inner eye, he could not read the clouded minds of the Norse Gods.
The endless tension and silence amongst these all-powerful Gods, was broken as Amaterasu addressed why they were all here. "If you are all here to discuss the Sitri boy, we have no knowledge of his origin." Amaterasu answered the question that was on everyone's minds.
Indra having regained his focus on his original purpose here today, smirked. "That boy, regardless of your knowledge of him or not. Despite being a devil, wielded the power of Gods. You three to be specific. Not to mention… that he is reincarnated from one of your universes."
Amaterasu merely scoffed at Indra's words. "Please, they were unrefined versions of our abilities if anything. He had great control over those powers for a young man at his age, not to mention for a devil. Which should be impossible, as the holy energy in theory would have burnt his body alive and killed him from birth. Even if we take into account of his reincarnation from one of my Pantheon's governing universes, it shouldn't have been possible due to his now devil heritage. Believe me when I say this, we do not know of this child's origin. And are just as eager to discover the truth behind this scandal as much as any of you."
"If you are not behind this scheme… then who?" Poseidon speaks, and his chilling voice has many Gods fall silent. Even though many of the Gods present were stronger than the God of the Sea, his presence and voice still commanded their respect, and in some cases their fear. "Like you said, no Devil child should be able to wield such divine power. So, someone powerful must be behind it."
Thor hums in agreement. "I've made a few guesses of possible suspects. But I would have to say, the most likely are either Great Red or Ophis." The two Infinity Beings after all exceeded all of their powers.
Shiva looks with great curiosity. "You sure it ain't that Trigon? Seems like his type of deal to mess with the divine order of things." At this one of Shiva's fellow Hindu Pillar Gods shakes their head.
"No, Trigon doesn't do schemes. He would have made it clear if he was behind this." Vishnu spoke, his words had everyone almost instantly in agreement. "Besides, a creature of darkness like him couldn't possibly manage such a feat. Like giving a devil child, the power of Gods."
The wise All Father Odin then came with his own thoughts on the matter. "I agree with Thor. Great Red is certainly a possibility. But not Ophis. Judging from my last encounter with the Dragon God of Infinity during the attack of Khaos Brigade. Ophis made it clear that one who is behind this isn't her. And we are aware that no Devil could manage such a feat either, as the holy energy would have harmed or killed them as well." Odin shook his head. He was firm in deduction skills and had reached a conclusion. "No, it is either the work of Great Red. Or…" The tension rises as every other God in the room reaches the same conclusion.
"It is one of us in this very room." Susano'o sighs, and as he says this every God begins throwing suspicious glances around the room.
"Heh, I bet it is Indra." Shiva bluntly throws his suspicion out there.
"Then I bet it is you." Indra throws back with a snarl.
Shiva chuckles and appeals to the rest of the room. "Come on guys… Indra here could read all of our minds and find out who it is, if he wanted to. The fact that he doesn't just shows that it is him." Shiva pointed out, and that was a strong accusation.
"Maybe I haven't tried to read any of your minds yet, you ever think about that?" Indra says this as he begins to read the mind of the other Gods in the room. Several were believing in Shiva's words, that Indra was the one behind Itachi's reincarnation into Itachi Sitri and blessing him with the Godly powers. Indra knew he couldn't read the minds of Odin and Thor, so his suspicion remained strongly on them. "Come on guys! There are other Gods capable of doing this! What about Izanami?! Huh, she's the one who governs the realm of the dead for the universes made by the Shinto Pantheon. Which is where Itachi came from. How can we be so certain not to rule her out of the equation?! Or even Izanagi who isn't here either."
At this many Gods seemed to be thinking it over. "Hmm, he has a point." Zeus stroked his beard, his golden gleaming eye peeking up with great intensity. "After all, if that brat came from one of the Shinto universes, it would make sense that the Shinto Pantheon's God of the Dead was behind his reincarnation."
"Yeah! That is what I am saying! That's-" Indra suddenly tensed up, as he noticed something. Odin and Thor were not the only Gods present that he couldn't read the mind of. Indra tenses up, as he looks towards a certain God. 'I see… guess I will keep an eye on you too.' Indra thinks to himself. Even though Izanami was a strong possibility, the hooded figure of the entity that resurrected Itachi that Indra spoke with in his mind was a man. Though, for a God shapeshifting would be easy. Indra didn't even know what the entity was called, it hadn't given him any name or nickname to go off.
"Whoever it is, it is an impressive feat. Not only to gift a child, but a devil child no less the power of Gods. In theory, it would require immense power. So, I think we cannot rule out any Gods amongst the top 10 or top 20 strongest." Zeus deduces, not believing it to be possible for another entity outside of the Top 20 strongest beings in the world to manage such a feat.
"Mm, I agree little brother." Hades admits, seeming very interested in this matter, and more specifically in Itachi himself. "Regardless, the boy is impressive." Hades admits and Poseidon even nods in agreement, although has a scornful look when thinking of Itachi.
"Yeah, not only has he nearly become another Super Devil. He has surpassed many lower-level Gods like Loki as well." Thor openly admits, and none argued with him on this matter.
Indra on the other hand, arrogantly chuckled. "What are you all looking so worried about? Don't tell me some of you for a moment thinks that Devil brat would surpass any of us? Some mid-level Gods, sure. Maybe even some higher ones. But us? Please…."
"Can we truly rule out any devil?" Aten asks, as there were other strange anomalies at play that he had noticed today. And throughout this Rating Game tournament. "If you all recall, that reincarnated Devil Bob, wielded a replica of Thor's hammer Mjolnir. A Divine weapon, yet he, a Devil bent it to his will."
At Aten's wording, Thor himself frowned feeling insulted. "It was a mere replica. It is nothing like the original." Before Thor goes any further, Odin stops him.
"That is a valid point… Ever since the Biblical God went out of commission… The boundaries between Demonic and Holy have been brought into question many times. Less we not forget that Gremory Knight who made a Holy Demonic Sword which previously to have been believed to be impossible." Odin agreed, as this sudden issue brought forth many other suspects. Perhaps a Devil was behind Itachi's reincarnation after all? It wouldn't be any issue for a Devil to sneak into one of the various Netherworlds each Pantheon commands over after all.
"You think this may be a ploy by the Old Maou Faction?" Hades questions the All Father of the Norse Pantheon. "Could they truly take such advantage over the absence of the God of the Bible, to scheme right under our noses?"
At Hades' words, Indra snorted and rolled his eyes. "Come on. Yeah, the old Biblical God geezer was powerful. But all of us are Gods as well… the boundary between Holy and Demonic should remain."
"Then explain the replica of Mjolnir being bent to a Devil's will, and explain the Gremory Knight's Holy Demonic Sword." Shiva points out, and further annoys Indra.
Indra with a groan held up two fingers. "Okay, one… Like Thor said, that hammer was a mere replica, thus a fluke. And second, the Holy Demonic Sword thingy, I mean come on. That was connected to the Excalibur, something within that old geezer's own Pantheon. Meaning, it is one of his weapons. Therefore, it would show affects from his absence." Indra's words seemed to convince some of the other arrogant Gods. There was no way that the mere absence of the Biblical God caused such a fracture in the balance between Holy and Demonic.
Tsukuyomi then speaks up on another matter. "The obvious question we've all been avoiding… What is to be done about the boy?" At this everyone falls silent.
"If he is a tool in someone's grand scheme, should we kill him?" The Celtic Sun God Lugh suggests, but his suggestion was quickly turned down by Odin.
"If we kill him, it will without a doubt make Sirzechs Lucifer and Serafall Leviathan wanting to go to war." Despite his own personal issues in regards to the prophecy regarding Itach he got from the Norns, Odin couldn't let the boy die. As he knew, it would also mean the wrath of Ophis who desired Itachi to be her prized champion in the battle against Great Red. "Asgard has the back of the Three Factions. If the boy is harmed, we will join their side in a war." Odin declared and Thor seemed to also agree. At least, that is where they stood for now in regards to Itachi.
"I see no reason to kill him, he is far from being a threat as of yet. And shows no malicious intent." A nudge from Odin, had Thor voice out his agreement to his father. At hearing this, some Gods got a bit sweaty. Some of them didn't dare face Thor head on in a fight after all.
"The fate of the child, is not up to either of us." Amaterasu spoke up, showing she as well didn't want for Itachi to die. She was however furious at the potential possibility of someone having defiled their Pantheon's powers, by giving them to Itachi without permission.
"Oh yeah? I'm not scared of Sirzechs or his army." Indra declared confidently, as he even cast a sideways glare at Thor. "Although, I do agree on not killing him. At least not yet. I kinda wanna see what happens next with him." Indra revealed he merely desired the potential entertainment Itachi might bring in the future.
"Then it is settled, no one will lay a hand on the Sitri boy." Odin ended this little meeting of the Gods, as with that said he and Thor left the room. Many other Gods began doing the same. Although amongst them, some had other ideas. Susano'o, Odin himself, Indra, Poseidon, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Thor, Zeus, Hades all had a similar thought. 'Something needs to be done in regards to the boy.' Each having decided that they needed to do something about Itachi. Although, only a couple of them had any malicious intent in mind.
That's the end for now!
And that was Part 3, the end of the Rating Game between Itachi and Sairaorg. Now Itachi advances to the finals to face Rias in the final battle of this Rating Game tournament. I don't really have much to say, other than that I wish I had made Harry's fight against Regulus longer. But the chapter was already getting big enough, and I wanted the main focus to be on Itachi vs Sairaorg. So overall, I am happy with it. But what about you guys? Did you enjoy this three-part Rating Game? Any thoughts on the battle, or what some of the Gods might be scheming?
Let me know it in the reviews!
The Sins thoughts on Raven!
Kuroka: Like Itachi, she has a cute resting stoic face. She is also a good friend, and I sympathize with her issue of showing emotions. I know I could not bear not to show my affection towards Itachi every single day.
Bob: She is reserved to herself. And even though she can't show her emotions due to her power, I can tell she feels more love than anyone out of our group. Even more than Itachi.
Jack: She is smart, probably even smarter than mommy. Like a raven she holds great knowledge. I like spending time with her, as we sit in silence.
Harry: Her power is something else, I highly respect her and her struggle against her father.
Damian: Her robes might not show it well, but when she gets into her school uniform you can tell she has a hot body. A nice plump ass, and nice perky tits, and those legs oh mama! She is a cute introvert.
Eto: I love her~ She is cold like me, and cute. I want to see her go on a rampage.
Itachi: I greatly value her insight on certain affairs. And I hold her in high regard, not just for her control of her emotions and power, but also for her feelings of love for us. She reminds me of myself, and my days as a Shinobi where I was prohibited from showing my feelings on certain things. Although unlike me, she seems to have found a perfect balance of emotions and the needs of the mission.
-Later!

RazerGamer501: Thank you, I have been working tirelessly to finish this 3-part Rating Game.
Pandorawriters1605: You are welcome!
accel47: Both part 1 and 2 were posted in the previous update. Also thanks!
RAIZARO: Okay, I will.
velniar341: Sorry, lol, didn't mean to be sadistic, but I just hadn't finished part 3 until now. Good thing you guys didn't have to wait too long for it. Damian is like a true philosopher preaching true culture, lol.
DarkReaderSeiin: Thank you! Damian's final attack was something me and a friend thought of, not sure if he got the inspiration from somewhere. It was indeed a very difficult battle, a high difficulty level battle.
GuesT: Well… I won't confirm if you are right or wrong. But yeah, thank you for the praise. But yes, Hades is someone who in my opinion always gets misunderstood in media. And is always made into a malicious villain wanting to overthrow Zeus. I think it is possible to make Hades and antagonist, but he doesn't have to be malicious or downright evil. Hades is someone who greatly focuses on his job, and is one of the few Gods taking his job seriously. So, get in the way of his work and you will get into conflict with him. It is that simple Hollywood! And who is to say the Gods aren't aware of any potential lives on other planets? The Gods are just mostly attached to Earth, maybe because it is the planet filled with worshippers for them.
merendinoemiliano: Thanks!
Barbatus Lupus Rex: Well, yes in the supernatural world incest is a normal thing. Like, the Greek Pantheon is the biggest example. But Lucifer and Lillith aren't really siblings, at least not in DxD.
fallendemon248: Thanks! And no, the next antagonist isn't going to be Hades. Hades is too powerful for Itachi and the Sins at the moment. If he is going to be an antagonist, he is going to be one later on.
Ainz227: Well, Itachi's height in this story isn't something I have really thought of. But for the sakes of it, let us say he is 180 cm tall. And as for Raven, pretty much as in the Teen Titans show, Raven constantly holds back a lot. And her first fight, even though it was quick she ended up realizing too much of her pent-up feelings thus the power she tries to suppress comes out. Raven doesn't have that great control over it, we've already seen instances where she lost control. Yes, overall, Raven should have maybe won her battle, and some plot-based reason was part of the reason she didn't. That and Kuisha herself is relatively powerful, I mean she creates fricking black holes. So, Raven ended up also putting in a lot of effort to try and close the black holes without using the side of her that her father holds influence over. But yes, Raven vs Kuisha was one of the fights I wasn't satisfied with and wanted to write more, but the chapter was getting too long so here we are.
BOKCItachi: Yes, yes, he did XD
Gilgamesh50: Well, I will not get into a discussion about Koneko. I am not looking to change your opinion on it anyway. And what it meant, is that Itachi would owe Sona a favor. And I wouldn't really say Issei gave advice, more like his own insight on the matter. But yes, Issei isn't any kind of person to give people romantic advice lol.
Guest: Eto for the win!
zakan: Hehehe, glad to see you liked it.
Guest: Thank you for the praise. And yes, Raven was kind of nerfed. But she kind of constantly is, as she always holds back her true power due to her father. That and Kuisha is by no means weak either, so there is that. But yeah, it was also one the fights I wasn't personally satisfied with, but the chapter was getting longer than it needed to be.
EmilyGonzalez: Thanks, glad you enjoyed all the fights!
