"I think it ran in here," Ladybug whispered to Cat, as they stood at the entrance to the corn maze. A farmer had gotten upset that the crows had been stealing his corn, thus turning him into a wicked scarecrow.

Cat gulped, eyes darting left and right. "Do we split up up, or stick together?" "Stay together. You could be lost for hours in this maze." Ladybug keep her yo-yo close as they wandered through the jungle of green. Every rustle they heard could be just the wind, or was the akuma watching them?

"Kinda wish you had some red ruby slippers right now, M'lady," Cat told her. "Then you could click your heels three times and we'd be home for dinner." Ladybug smiled, reaching out her hand. "Come on, Cat. We've been through more dangerous situations before." "Then why do I feel like the cowardly lion?" Ladybug thought for a moment. "Let me try something. Lucky Charm!"

Cat watched with a confused expression. "Okay, so you put it on like this….oh!" Ladybug helped Cat with his new mane, and burst into giggles. "Love, you are anything but a cowardly, but with your mane, you look like the Cowardly Lion!" "Come on, let me see." Ladybug slid open her compact, and Cat checked himself in the small mirror. "Meow. I'm feline more confident already."

They took off into the maze, going deeper and darker into the corn. A wicked cackle was heard, but either Cat or Ladybug knew were the sound was coming from. "I'll get you my pretties! And your little cat too!" The scarecrow jumped out in front of the heroes. "That's lion to you, and Bugaboo's no pushover."

"Looks like your forget your crow and your broom," Ladybug quipped. "Curse those crows, and curse ladybugs! Always munching away at my crops!" "Oh, come on. Us ladybugs keep down the aphid population." "Oh, really! Then you'll enjoy a little snack I've whipped up for you!"

Before Ladybug could move, the scarecrow was upon her, trying to get her to eat an aphid. Cat was about to dive into the fight when three crows circled him, pecking at their beaks.

Cat didn't want to end like this, and suddenly he realized he still had a bag of corn for when he and Ladybug had gone out to feed the ducks. But where was the akuma's object? Then it clicked. It was the scarecrow himself! "Snacks on me, guys!" Cat tossed the bag of corn in the air, ripping it with his claws as he ran over to Ladybug.

"I would never set fire to a scarecrow, but I have my Cataclysm!" Cat touched the straw, and it fell to the ground, leaving a surprised looking farmer in his wake. "What happened?"

After capturing the akuma, Ladybug and Cat sat in one of the apple trees, looking over the cornfield. "I guess we should look on the bright side, Kitty. At least we didn't have to deal with a scary witch!"

Cat's tail swished, and though he knew he shouldn't, he didn't anyway. "Are you going to cackle at me tomorrow if I don't bring Starbucks?" Ladybug scooted closer. "Depends on how fast I can chase you with a broom." Cat's eyes gleamed. "I love you," he leaned in for a kiss. "Glad I didn't lose you to the crows. Instead of cat food you would have been bird food!"
