"Kelp Head, how do you accidentally vaporise a teacher?" Thalia asked, amusement lacing her voice.

Percy shrugged, "When you have no idea what in the Hades is going on,"

"Hey, don't use my name as a curse word!"

(Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood.)

"None of us did at first Percy," Will said gently, the Gods and Goddesses looked at each other.

(If you're reading this…and try to lead a normal life.)

"Not sure it would work though, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said. Percy nodded, his gaze distant. The demigods shared worried looks and Poseidon kept his eyes on his son, his thoughts drifting to all of his titles. Survived Tartarus? What have all these kids been through?

(Being a half-blood is dangerous…..killed in painful, nasty ways.)

"Check, check, check," The demigods chorused together, some smiling sadly as they remembered the friends they lost. The Gods shared concerned looks.

(If you're a normal kid…..they'll come for you.)

The demigods nodded in agreement.

"We all envy those who don't go through this," Chris said bitterly, Clarisse squeezed his hand in reassurance. Aphrodite and Ares looked around the room, Aphrodite could feel the love in the room, platonic love, family love, romantic love… she felt powerful as the love that each of the demigods had for each other filled every space around them.

Ares looked around for a different yet similar reason. He noticed all the scars that some of the demigods had, especially the ones who had fought in both wars, the two punks, Annabeth and Percy, had the most scars and the way that boy emitted power… well there was no doubt who's kid he was, it was obvious even without their similar (almost identical) appearances. But the way Percy held himself…well it was like he didn't have a good self-esteem and Ares started wondering just how bad that kid's self esteem was. And he seemed modest.

(Don't say I didn't warn you.)

"You didn't warn us!" The Stolls said at the same time.

"Nor me!" Nico added and Percy rolled his eyes.

"I was a bit busy saving your ass Nico,"

"Language Percy!" Sally reprimanded and Percy blushed as the demigods snickered.

"Sorry Mom,"

The Olympians were all staring at them in shock, they got on so well, I mean, they all got on really well with that son of Hades as well, something they hadn't seen in a very long time. Hades was glad that his children had friends here.

(My name is Percy Jackson.)

"I thought it was Hestia?" Travis said, staring at Hestia who chuckled.

"No, it's Perry Johnson," Dionysus said, flicking the page of his magazine. The Greek demigods smiled, shaking their heads in amusement.

(I'm twelve years old…..Am I a troubled kid?)

"YES!" All demigods yelled and Percy jumped at the sudden loudness.

"I'm not that bad!" He argued and he was given looks of disbelief.

"Mount St Helens," Annabeth reminded him and he blushed.

(Yeah. You could say that.)

"Even you agree, Water Boy!" Nico said, throwing his hands up, narrowly missing Jason and Will's face.

(I could start at any point in my short miserable life)

"Short and miserable?" Poseidon asked, his face riddled with worry as he looked at his son who wasn't looking at him.

(to prove it, but…..Greek and Roman stuff.)

"Sounds wonderful," Annabeth and Athena said in synchronisation, while the rest of the demigods groaned.

"Sounds like torture," The other demigods, a couple of Romans, and a few immature Gods said.

(I know – it sounds like torture.)

All the demigods laughed, and was only made worse when Grover yelled above everyone else,

"We think like Percy!" And everyone's laughter was worse, Percy had a fake pout on his face but was trying to fight the smile that tried to grace his lips as he looked on at his friends- no his family, the people he had grown up with, the people who he trusted with his life. Who had saved him so many times he lost count.

(Most Yancy field…..me to sleep)

"YOU SLEPT IN CLASS?!" Athena screeched, Percy was quiet. All the demigods and Sally were concerned, he was never this quiet, and he never didn't argue back in some way with an immortal so the fact that he wasn't saying anything about this…well it concerned them all greatly.

"Yes, he would have slept in class, and so did many demigods, because we struggle to stay awake and focus because of our ADHD and dyslexia, so instead of having a go at him, can you just lay off?" Thalia snapped at Athena when it was clear that Percy wasn't going to respond. Athena stared at Thalia open-mouthed, Artemis was concerned that her Lieutenant was talking out to a goddess like that, she understood that boy doing it but her? Hestia quickly continued before a fight could break out.

(I hoped…..you get the idea.)

Most of the people there were laughing, some had even fallen off the couches in laughter, Hermes looked at Percy and choked out "Please tell me there is more," Percy just grinned at him in response to the plea.

(This trip…..peanut butter-and-ketchup sandwich.)

Annabeth, Thalia and Percy scowled, it was a dangerous trio if they were all glaring at one thing but thankfully, they were glaring in different directions. Some of the Gods and Goddesses looked between Percy and Poseidon, they even had similar glares. Thalia's was more intimidating compared to Zeus' so they couldn't compare those two.

(Grover…..don't let that fool you.)

"Thanks Percy," Grover glared at Percy but it was hard with the other Greek demigods muffling their laughter, including Percy.

"You're welcome, G-man," Percy choked out through his laughter. Sally shook her head fondly.

(You should've seen him run when it was enchilada day in the cafeteria.)

"Grover!" All the elder Greek demigods groaned, some face-palming. Grover blushed under the stares he got, while Poseidon was wondering if this satyr was a good Protector for his son.

(Anyway…..this trip.)

"Where's the fun in that?" Travis and Connor moaned, slumping back in their seats. Dakota and Gwen stared at them as if they were insane.

('I'm…..get myself into.)

"Foreshadowing, huh Percy," Grover says, both of them rolling their eyes as Percy kept himself as calm as possible when he felt the anger he felt during that situation with Nancy.

(Mr Brunner…..three thousand years.)

"More than that, Perseus," Artemis scowled at the boy.

"I know that now but I didn't then,"

(He gathered…..had a nervous breakdown.)

"Percy that isn't… is it?" Nico asked worriedly and at Percy's minute nod he groaned and flopped backwards, much to Will's amusement.

(From her…..It came out louder than I meant it to.)

"It always does in the worst times for it to be that loud," Chris agreed with Percy, some of the other demigods nodding in agreement.

(The whole group…..this picture represents?')

"I bet he won't know what it represents," Athena sneered and Annabeth turned to her mother.

"Alright, Lady Athena, I bet 30 drachma that he does know what it represents," Annabeth said smugly, having full trust in her boyfriend, even then.

"Okay then, 30 drachmas that he doesn't know what it represents," Athena answered and Annabeth got up, much to Percy's dislike as he pouted but Annabeth shook hands with her mother on the deal, then she went back to Percy who smiled and pulled her back into his embrace.

Silena and Aphrodite both went 'Aww' at them.

"Oh my Gods, are they actually, fully together now?!" Silena asked, looking from Percy to Annabeth with excitement in her eyes.

"Yeah, they got together after the first war," Will says with a smile.

"Finally," Beckendorf said and Percy and Annabeth blushed, they got that they took a while to admit they liked each other.

(I looked…..'Yes,' Mr Brunner said)

"Hand over the drachmas, Athena," Annabeth said, grinning as she got up to go get the drachmas from Athena who handed over the bag of drachmas reluctantly. Annabeth went back over to Percy and pocketed the drachmas as she snuggled back against Percy's chest, letting his arms wind their way around her waist.

(obviously not…..king god, and –')

"GOD?!" Zeus fumed, lightning flashing around him and Percy rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath and Hestia quickly continued.

('God?'...'and the gods won.')

Everyone was in a stunned silence, the elder six Olympians turning to look at him in wonder.

"Did you just summarise 10 years of war into 'big fight between the gods and Titans and the gods won'?" Athena asked in complete shock, staring at the 18 year old boy in front of her.

"Got the main point across, didn't it?" Percy shrugged and Thalia sighed, shaking her head in tiredness.

(Some snickers…..does this matter in real life?')

"Busted," All the Hermes and Apollo kids say at the same time and Grover and Percy muffled their sniggers at what they know is said next.

('Busted,' Grover muttered.)

"Damn it, we think like a goat!" Chris said, causing some of the demigods to laugh. Hestia was smiling warmly, her eyes reflecting the hearth as it crackles and emits a gentle even happy warmth. She loved the familial bond many of the demigods, satyr and mortals had with each other, the happiness they found within each other even through times where it wouldn't have been ideal for happiness. Her domain was family after all.

('Shut up,'...mixture of mustard and wine)

"Wait wait wait a second," Percy said, interrupting Hestia with an apologetic look but she just smiled at him and gestured for him to continue.

"It can't have been mustard and wine as wine wasn't invented yet, it was nectar and mustard, wasn't it?" Percy looked to Zeus and Chiron for confirmation.

"Yes, I fed him nectar and mustard not mustard and wine," Zeus confirmed, scowling.

(which…..Tartarus)

Percy, Annabeth, Will and Nico all shivered at the name and their friends looked at them all worriedly, would the reminder of the name send them into an attack? Thankfully, the four didn't have an attack but stayed sitting stiffly.

(the…..back outside?')

"Happy note?" The children of Kronus looked at Chiron incredulously.

"The fact that he was killed is a happy note?" He said.

(The class…..this girl's funeral.)

"I was," Chiron said sadly. Annabeth was rubbing her thumb over Percy's hand, she had an idea of how bad his self-esteem was and she doubted that this talk with Chiron helped him much.

(He told me…..I didn't have much of an appetite, so I let him take it.)

"Percy?" Annabeth asked worriedly, all the demigods were looking at him concerned, even Sally and Rachel. All demigods who knew him were well aware of his eating habits.

"I just had a lot on my plate at the time, Wise Girl, that was the only time," Percy tried reassuring his girlfriend but Thalia butted in.

"No, it wasn't, Kelp Head or have you forgotten the third quest?"

Percy blushed and hid his face in Annabeth's hair. "Annabeth wasn't there," He mumbled.

Thalia confirmed for the immortals, "Something happened to Annabeth on our third quest and she wasn't around and Percy kind of stopped eating, we had to literally force feed him," Grover and the other demigods who were around that winter nodded in agreement.

"Yes, even I could see thou wasn't his usual self," Zoe said in agreement.

(I watched…..she'd give me.)

"Oh Percy," Sally said softly and she got up and went to her son where she gave him a warm hug, one which Percy returned. The Olympians were all shocked to see a parent with such a strong bond with their kid, let alone a demigod. Amphitrite and Triton were watching curiously, what is so special about this mortal that caused Poseidon to cheat after the oath?

(Mr Brunner…..in Grover's lap.)

"She did what?!" Thalia yelled, electricity crackling around her to the point her peers who were sat next to her had to move away to avoid getting electrified.

Luke and Annabeth looked equally angry, though the smell of sea was slowly filling the room, everyone turned to look at Poseidon and Triton but both of them looked equally confused until they saw Annabeth calming Percy down, and soon the smell of sea was gone.

('Oops.'...roared in my ears.)

The sea gang smirked as Annabeth kept Percy as calm as possible as he went through the same emotions as described in the book. Then a small hurricane of water appeared at Percy's feet and everyone took in a shaky breath but the hurricane didn't do anything except swirl in the same spot, just beneath Percy's feet. Poseidon noticed that it was more like a protective dog would stand guard for its owner.

(I don't remember…..I gave her my deluxe I'll-kill-you-later stare.)

All the demigods, Grover and Rachel shivered, Percy looked at them confused.

"That stare is freaking scary as hell!" Leo exclaimed, fiddling with some metal and those who had been on the receding end of that glare nodded in agreement.

"It can't be that bad," Hera scoffed and those who knew about the glare took in a sharp intake of breath. Percy sat up straight and gave her one of those stares (which was easy with his current state) however they were worse than when he was 12, now, the glare showed shipwrecks, the sea angry, the ocean over taking islands, tsunamis, hurricanes, people with dolphin snouts, any sort of damage the sea had done, Hera was forced to see. She looked away, pale and shaky.

Percy smirked and waved his hand for Hestia to continue.

(I then turned…..my brain misinterpreting things.)

"I don't think so, Perce," Will said, grimacing. Nico nodded.

(I wasn't so sure.)

"You've got good instincts, punk," Ares noted.

"Yeah, the Jackson bloodline always seems to have had good instincts, comes in handy to know when to not do stupid things," An unknown male voice said before a slapping sound was heard and the same voice groaning. Everyone looked amongst themselves, wondering who that was.

(I went…..the gallery was empty.)

"That's not good," Jason spoke up, looking over at Percy worriedly who nodded, controlling the anxiety that raged through his body, apprehension filling him.

(Mrs Dodds stood…..I did the safe thing.)

"Sorry, did you say he did the safe thing?" Thalia asked in bewilderment and Hestia nodded. Those who knew him turned to look at him.

"Were you okay, Percy?" Nico asked, acting worry and Percy rolled his eyes at them all. Annabeth was smiling softly to see Percy interacting in some way with the others.

(I said…..slice me to ribbons.)

"YOU SENT A FURY AFTER MY SON?!" Poseidon bellowed, standing up, his eyes glowing a dark sea green as he glared viciously at Hades who gulped. Percy stood up, ignoring his own personal raging battle inside of him and stood in front of Poseidon.

"Dad, stop, he had a reason to send her after me, but it won't be revealed until nearer to the end of the book, please calm down," Percy placated his father and Poseidon nodded, reluctantly sitting back down where his wife tried calming him, Percy sat back down with Annabeth, pulling him to her gently.

(Then things….. dropped the sword.)

"Seriously? And you defeat all those monsters later if you can't even hold a sword?" Athena scoffed, no one paid her any mind. Percy's hands were shaking badly, even worse than they did when it happened to him the first time but he kept that bit of information to himself.

(She snarled…..still watching me.)

Once again, Percy shivered as he tried controlling his fear.

(I was alone…..with me.)

"Grover!" The elder Greek demigods groaned as he blushed.

"You can lie a bit better now," Annabeth tried to say reassuringly.

"Maybe we should give him lying lessons?" Connor supplied and him and Travis started planning on how to do it.

('Not funny…..feeling all right?')

"Now that's how you lie!" Travis exclaimed, some of the demigods sighed, shaking their heads at the two of them.

"The chapter is done," Hestia said with a soft smile, "Who wants to read next?"

"I will, sister," Hades said, standing and taking the book from his sister.
