Emma smiled as she walked slowly through the hallways with her painting. Emma had acquired her artistic abilities from her mother, and she could as happy as a little ladybug with her brush and easel.
The only thing that could make it better was…. "Hi, Little Ladybug!" Emma gasped, as her father Adrien Agreste waited on the steps of school. "Daddy!" Emma dropped her painting and wrapped her arms around her father's leg. "Hey, don't drop your painting, you'll get it dirty. Here, I'll carry you and the painting! Going up!" Emma giggled as Adrien scooped her up into his arms. "I love you, Daddy," she whispered, snuggling down on his shoulder. "Me too, Little Bugaboo. And your going to love me even more when we head to the park." "And I can paint there?" Emma squealed. "Sure. After we pick up your supplies."
Emma did truly want to paint, but the swings and carousel were tempting. After a few rounds, Emma settled down, painting happily. Plagg and Nikki sat on the edge of her easel, while Adrien sat on a nearby bench. "Are you going to paint cheese?" Plagg asked, his eyes gleaming. Emma giggled. "Your so silly, Plagg. No, I'm going to paint a picture of the park!" "I just hope Andre shows up," Tikki licked her lips hopefully. "Its hot out, and we deserve a snack."
Emma dabbed and blotted at her canvas, finally finishing when she heard the sound of wheels coming closer. Andre the ice cream man was here! "Daddy, Daddy, can we get a cone?" Emma asked. Adrien grinned. "Emma I thought you were painting a picture, not face-painting. You have quite the design on your face!" Adrien showed her, and Emma giggled. "Don't worry, I love both. And since there's no paint on your forehead, I can do this." Adrien pressed a kiss to his daughter's forehead.
Emma fell asleep in her father's arm on the way home, but she was safe, happy and content. To Emma, Adrien was the best daddy in the world.
