Summary: The Lotus Ninjas stumble onto a plot to kidnap all the retired members of the superhero team, Justice Force.
In the Crete Fortress, Ellie began reading her Justice Force comic book on the couch inside the living room.
"General Genocide's malevolent mechanical marauders are no match for the Justice Force." Ellie narrated. "I'll make fast work of these lumbering tin cans, or my name's not Zippy Lad. You rusted ruffians should know better than to tangle with Joey Lastic and Metal Head. I feel so strange to be back with the team after being gone for so long. I just don't know if I can do this. Stainless Steve still keeps me at a distance. He only ever sees me as Battling Bernice, but we could be so much more. And even though Dr. Dome still has feelings for me, he'd never forgive me if he knew my secret. Steve, Dome, look out! Ah! Bernice, no!"
Ellie's eyes widened when she saw the "To be continued" caption at the bottom.
"To be continued? Oh, you gotta be kidding me!" Ellie exclaimed as she jumped off the couch.
Ellie snapped her fingers and conjured a large box of comic books on the coffee table right in front of her.
"It can't be the end!" Ellie said as she searched through her Justice Force collection. "I gotta know the real ending! Did Battling Bernice survive? Did she choose Stainless Steve or Dr. Dome as her lover?"
Unfortunately, Ellie couldn't find the latest Justice Force comic book in the box.
"Oh, that's just great." Ellie said with a groan. She grabbed her phone from the table and began dialing. "Now I'm gonna have to call every comic shop in town for that next issue."
Once every comic shop owners picked up the call, Ellie tried to explain to them about Justice Force #137. But none of the comic shops have that comic, making Ellie's face quickly go frantic.
"What?! Are you sure?! It can't be! It can't be! It can't be!" Ellie yelled. She collapsed on her knees to the floor and screamed angrily at the top of her lungs. "NNNNNNOOOOOO!"
Donna, Lee, and Ella instantly ran inside the living room as they stood in front of their frantic sister.
"Ellie, what's going on?" Lee asked worriedly.
"Is something wrong?" Donna asked.
"And this has better be good." Ella said as she placed her hands on her hips.
"No one has a copy of Justice Force #137!" Ellie yelled as she turned to her older sisters with an angry face. "I just finished reading #136 and I want to know what happens next so badly that I called every comic book shop in this city and that next comic is nowhere to be found!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Donna said as she stood next to Ellie and patted her sister's head. "Cool your jets, Ellie. We'll help you find that comic book."
"Well, there is that Steve's Comics some of my classmates were talking about two days ago." Ella suggested. "But that place is all the way up in Northampton."
Suddenly, Saldana walked out of the dojo as she sipped her jasmine tea.
"Excellent suggestion, Rafaela." Saldana said. "I think it would be good for Michelle to quiet her mind and calm her spirit if you all enjoyed the great outdoors for a little while."
"Oh yeah! Road trip!" The Lotus Ninjas yelled as they high-fived each other.
The Lotus Ninjas arrived in front of Steve's Comics. They entered the shop and looked around to see four customers were wearing costumes. One customer that was dressed up as Stainless Steve Steel saw Ella and winked at her flirtatiously, making Ella growl in annoyance as she rolled her eyes.
Lee began checking out comic books and Donna googled happily at the action figures.
Elle, on the other head, stood in front of the check-out counter towards the proprietor.
"Sorry, little lady, Justice Force #137 doesn't exist." Steve said.
"Say what?!" Ellie exclaimed in shock.
"What's sup, dudettes?"
Ellie, Donna, Lee, and Ella turned their heads to see the Turtles and Casey stepping inside the shop.
"Hey, Mikey." Ellie greeted with a smile.
"Are you here for the Justice Force too?" Mikey asked as he walked up to Ellie.
"Yeah, and guess what? He didn't have it!" Ellie replied. "He said the comic doesn't exist!"
"No way! I gotta know what happened to Battling Bernice!" Mikey exclaimed.
"She... didn't make it." Steve said with a frown as he closed his eyes.
"What? How do you know?" Mikey asked in confusion.
"I remember like it was yesterday. She sacrificed herself to save Dr. Dome and Stainless Steve. The Justice Force disbanded shortly after that." Steve explained.
"Boy, this guy takes this stuff seriously." Mikey whispered to Ellie as he jerked his thumb at Steve.
Ellie nodded in agreement.
Suddenly, the ringing sound of the entry bell caught everyone's attention. As the front door opened, two small mechanical robots with glowing red glass dome-shaped heads entered the shop.
"Whoa!" Mikey and Ellie said.
Another mechanical robot crashed through the glass window close to Steve. Two more mechanical robots followed with axes in their hands. As more mechanical robots arrived, the customers screamed and ran out of the store.
The mechanical robots inched towards the Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey. The Turtles and Casey started fighting the small robots with their weapons while the Lotus Ninjas blew them up with their elemental magic.
Two mechanical robots approached the short stock boy, but Casey leaped in front of him.
"Yo, dude, stand back. Little guy like you could get hurt." Casey said.
Two mechanical robots jumped on Casey and pinned him down to the floor.
The short stock boy's eyes suddenly flashed in white light, emitting with bluish-white sparks of electrical energy that altered him in his superhero suit with metallic gray hair.
"Get off me, you little tin cans!" Casey shouted as he struggled with the mechanical robots.
The short superhero stabbed two of the mechanical robots with his hair spikes and tossed them away off of Casey.
That immediately caught Mikey and Ellie's attention.
"I can't believe what I'm seeing! He's Metal Head! In the flesh!" Ellie beamed.
"Then the Justice Force is real?" Mikey wondered.
Mikey took his nunchuck from the mechanical robot that he was wrestling with. He then flung the small robot away that accidentally hits Steve in the head. Mikey screamed at what he just did.
"Real as this steel saucer on my noggin." Steve said as he rubbed his head.
Steve pulled off his hairpiece and revealed a round metallic saucer on his forehead
"And you're the real Stainless Steve Steel!" Mikey gasped in shock.
"No freaking way!" Ellie cried out.
Steve nodded in confirmation.
Then, one mechanical robot came zipping past Steve, who turned his head to see three more flying in his shop.
"And those are real Domeoids." Steve said.
Steve leaped over the counter and grabbed one Domeoid out of the air. He rolled over the floor and pinned it down before smashing the robot's dome head with his metallic saucer and destroying it.
Then, Steve placed a hand on his back with a groan just when Mikey and Ellie walked over to help him up off the floor.
"Whoa, I think I strained something." Steve said.
Metal Head had grabbed four Domeoids with his metallic hair. One of the Domeoids shocked the superhero with electricity, causing him to yell and pass out to the floor. The Domeoids grabbed Metal Head and lifted him up before flying out of the shop with him.
"Metal Head, no!" Steve yelled.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey exited the shop. They looked up in the sky to see the Domeoids are one. Mikey and Ellie were supporting Stainless Steve, escorting him outside with the others.
"Who could've done this?" Mikey asked.
"Only one fella I know with the brainpower to run those Domeoids, and that's old Doc Dome himself." Stainless Steve answered.
"Doc Dome? As in the Doc Dome?" Ellie asked. "But wasn't he one of the Justice Force, too?"
"Doc Dome's always blamed the rest of us for the demise of Battling Bernice. It was only a matter of time before his hatred turned to madness and revenge." Stainless Steve explained.
Stainless Steve pulled out and held up a button-like device with "JF" initials imprinted on it. He pressed it and a signal went out.
"The Justice Force emergency signal?" Mikey and Ellie said in recognition.
"Been carrying this around for almost forty years. I never thought I'd have to use it again." Stainless Steve said.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey arrived at Stainless Steve's home. Mikey and Ellie helped Stainless Steve out of the sidecar.
"I can't believe Dr. Dome would turn evil." Mikey said.
"You can't ignore the facts, Mikey." Stainless Steve said.
"You'd be amazed at what he can ignore." Raph replied.
Leo and Donnie approached the front door, but it suddenly opened by itself.
"Uh, Steve, you leave your door open?" Donnie asked nervously.
Stainless Steve shook his head no as a response.
Leo, Donnie, and Casey turned their heads to Lee, who understood with a nod. Lee closed her eyes with pure concentration and consciously sent out a ghostly wave of blue energy to identify living auras within the house.
"I sensed two good auras inside that house." Lee replied. "No need for weapons."
Leo, Donnie, and Casey quietly entered the house. The Lotus Ninjas and Raph followed behind them.
Then, an aged superhero pulled up in front of everyone.
"Aw, it's just some old dude." Casey complained.
"Old?" The aged superhero repeated.
The aged superhero shot forward with his wheelchair and circled around Casey, lifting him up into the air at fast speed. Then, he dropped Casey to the floor on his butt before darting back in front of the group.
"Watch who you're calling old, slowpoke." The aged superhero said.
Mikey and Ellie walked inside the house with Stainless Steve.
"Awesome! It's Zippy Lad!" Mikey said in awe.
"You're looking well, Zip." Stainless Steve commented.
"No, I'm not. I'm a mess just like you." Zippy Lad retorted.
"Right here, fellas. I-I just need to..." Stainless Steve said.
Mikey and Ellie helped Stainless Steve lay down on the floor. The cracking sound of his back made him groan in pain.
"Stretch out is all." Stainless Steve finished.
"Did someone say stretch?"
Suddenly, another aged superhero stretched his neck out of nowhere and looked down at Stainless Steve. He pulled back his neck, but he rubbed it into the original position.
"Oh, snap! That's Joey Lastic!" Ellie gasped in surprise.
"What's the matter, pops? Not as Joey Lastic as you used to be?" Zippy Lad questioned sarcastically.
"I'll retract eventually. Just takes a little longer than it used to." Joey Lastic countered.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey stared at three aged superheroes with weirded-out faces. But Ellie and Mikey looked completely enthusiastic.
"Are these guys awesome or what? It's like we're part of history!" Mikey exclaimed ecstatically.
"Yeah, ancient history." Raph mumbled as he crossed his arms.
Mikey turned to his older brother with a confused face while Ellie rolled her eyes in annoyance.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey began hanging around the house while Zippy Lad was giving a back massage to Stainless Steve, who was now dressed in his Justice Force costume.
"Nothing like a superspeed massage to work the kinks out of your back." Zippy Lad.
"Thanks, Zippy. I feel decades younger." Stainless Steve said. He stood up and relaxed his flat gut, flopping his stomach out over his belt. "Now we need to figure out how we're gonna stop Doc Dome."
Joey Lastic rubbed his neck, crackling and retracting back in place.
"Ah, there it is." Joey Lastic said in relief.
"Hey, Stainless Steve. I have a question about Battling Bernice. Why did she quit the team for a year?" Ellie asked curiously.
"She never said, but I always suspected it had something to do with Doc Dome." Stainless Steve replied.
Everyone became startled by a sudden thumping sound from above. Lee quickly detected numerous auras coming from the roof.
"Guys, something's on the roof!" Lee called out in alarm.
Leo opened the dormer doors and looked outside of the window. He leaped out and landed on the roof's peak as he drew out his katanas. As he looked around, he spotted several Domeoids climbing over the roof from all directions and moving forward in his direction. Then, his brothers, Casey, and the Lotus Ninjas joined him on the roof.
"Here they come!" Leo called out.
"Let's kick some dome!" Raph shouted.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey charged as they started fighting and destroying Domeoids.
Inside the house, Stainless Steve began smashing a group of Domeoids with his steel saucer on the staircase. Zippy Lad spun his arms and created a strong wind that destroyed some of the Domeoids into pieces. Half of the Domeoids snuck up behind the superhero's wheelchair and grabbed it.
"Hey! Put me down!" Zippy Lad demanded.
The Domeoids started flying out through the front door with Zippy Lad. Joey Lastic took notice and ran to catch up to them.
"Zippy!" Joey Lastic cried out.
Joey Lastic stretched himself outside through the front door, but he couldn't go farther enough from the pouch. As he collapsed to the ground, two Domeoids rolled his body up and then carried him away.
Stainless Steve ran outside, but he was too late to save Zippy Lad and Joey Lastic,
"Zippy! Joey!" Stainless Steve hollered.
"They're getting away!" Mikey shouted.
"Not for long." Donnie stated. "I planted Turtle Trackers on the old guys earlier. Just in case."
"Great thinking, Donnie." Donna smiled.
Raph swung on top of the roof as he attacked the last Domeoid.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's roll." Raph said.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, Casey, and Stainless Steve arrived at a fenced compound after finally tracking down the signal that Donnie planted on the Domeoids. On the other side of the fence, they saw a dome shaped building. They quietly entered through the hole in the fence and hid in the bushes. They peeked over to see several Domeoids surrounding the entire building.
"Whoa, that's one mighty big dome." Casey whispered.
"You said it." Ella concurred.
"That's Doc Dome's fortress." Stainless Steve said.
"Look at all those Domeoids." Leo murmured.
"I gotta handed it to Doc Dome. His robots are amazing." Donna commented.
Lee, Ellie, and Ella gave Donna deadpanned looks.
"We're in luck. Doc Dome isn't controlling them right now." Stainless Steve said. He handed his binoculars to Donnie. "See those flashing blips in their domes? That means they're in automated defense mode. They'll attack anything that moves that doesn't give off one of those signals."
"Then we'll just have to give off one of those signals." Donnie said.
A group of six Domeoids turned around when they heard the buzzing sound coming out of nowhere. A remote controlled Silver Sentry toy suddenly flew over them, making the mechanical robots chase after it. Donnie used his remorse to control his action figure, turning and flying over the Domeoids that were trying to swing their weapons at it. Donnie then manipulated his action figure and led the Domeoids to their hiding spot, causing his toy to dive into the bushes. As the Domeoids followed, scythe-like blades of water came through the bushes and sliced through each mechanical robot's head by Lee's magic.
The Turtles, the Lotus, Casey, and Stainless Steve are now wearing a Domeoid's dome on their heads before walking towards the domed building.
"We look ridiculous." Raph muttered.
"We'll look even worse if we get our heads bashed in by a hundred Domeoids." Donnie pointed out.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, Casey, and Stainless Steve walked down the hallway, completely unaware that someone is watching them on a monitor. Once they reached an unknown room, Stainless Steve approached one of the glass-encased stasis tubes. He wiped the fog from the glass and saw his kidnapped, aged comrade, who appeared to be in a deep sleep.
"Metal Head! Doc Dome will pay for this." Stainless Steve said with a growl.
"Now, let's not jump to conclusions." Ellie said.
"She's right. We've read too many comic book stories where things are never what they seem." Mikey added.
Stainless Steve smashed the glass case with his steel saucer, causing a smoke of cold air to seep out through the opening. When the cold air slowly cleared, Metal Head opened his eyes.
Suddenly, an alarm started blaring out, causing the room to shake into a large cavern. As debris fell from the ceiling, a massive Domebot came bursting through the wall. It looked like a gigantic version of Domeoid, except it has a large blue glass dome on the head.
Sitting on the top of the Domebot was an aged superhero in front of the control pulpit.
"Cool! Doc Dome!" Mikey and Ellie exclaimed in awe.
"I want. That. Robot." Donna said with a wide grin.
"Surrender, Stainless Steve. You and your reptile flunkies may have succeeded in kidnapping the others, but you won't get Dr. Dome without a fight." Dr. Dome said.
As Dr. Dome pulled a lever, his Domebot stomped towards the Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, Stainless Steve, and Casey.
"You dare accuse us of your twisted scheme, Dr. Dome? This is your lab." Stainless Steve retorted. He ducked the swing of the Domebot's arm. "These are your Domeoids."
Dr. Dome's Domebot swung around and knocked the Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey down to the ground. It then grabbed Stainless Steve's cape and lifted him up to Dr. Dome.
"If you won't admit your treachery, then perhaps your captives will." Dr. Dome snapped.
Dr. Dome's Domebot marched over to the stasis machine and smashed the pods, causing the captured Justice Force members to wake up from their sleep.
"Man, what a strange dream." Zippy Lad murmured. He looked up to see Dr. Dome's Domebot in front of him. "Dr. Dome! You traitor!"
"What? No, he's the traitor. Can't you see he's trying to frame me?" Dr. Dome argued as he pointed his finger to Stainless Steve.
"Impossible. Only you could've unleashed those Domeoids. They only respond to your telepathic commands." Stainless Steve retorted.
Stainless Steve broke the Domebot's grip with his steel saucer and then jumped down just as his teammates joined behind him.
"I haven't used the Domeoids in years." Dr. Dome stated. "All that mental control was giving me super migraines. And isn't it convenient that you were present for all the kidnappings, yet you yourself were never kidnapped?"
Joey Elastic, Metal Head, and Zippy Lad turned their heads to Stainless Steve.
"Yeah, why is that, Steve?" Joey Elastic accuses.
"Guys, y-you don't really think…?" Stainless Steve stuttered as he backed away from his teammates.
Behind Stainless Steve was a raised shrine platform of Battling Bernice that contained statuettes and pictures of her.
"You could never hide your jealousy. You couldn't stand the fact that Battling Bernice loved me and not you." Dr. Dome argued.
"Are you out of your glass-encased mind? Battling Bernice couldn't stand you. She quit the team for a year just to get away from you." Stainless Steve countered.
"Don't you ever say her name." Dr. Dome snapped with a sneer.
Dr. Dome's Domebot lifted its foot and prepared to stomp Stainless Steve, but Mikey and Ellie quickly darted in front of him that halted the robot from moving its foot.
"Guys, stop! You're friends, teammates, remember?" Ellie shouted. She looked up to Dr. Dome. "Who saved you from the Living Volcano?" She turned to Stainless Steve. "And who cured you of that creeping alien rust?"
"Now what do you say we work together like the Justice Force and find out who's really behind this?" Mikey cried out.
Dr. Dome's Domebot lowered its foot. Then, several Domeoids began jabbering robotically and came running through a tunnel that caught everyone's attention.
"Aha! The Domeoids only glow like that when he's mentally controlling them." Stainless Steve concluded.
"Let's put a stop to this now!" Leo declared.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey charged towards Dr. Dome's Domebot. Donna lifted her glowing purple hands forward, sculpting two large hands to grab the Domebot's legs from the ground. Lee, Ella, Ellie, the Turtles, and Casey attacked the glass dome, shattering it into tiny pieces. Raph then reached and grabbed Dr. Dome by his shirt collar, pulling him forward to his face.
"All right, Crystal Ball, call off your attack bots or they'll be toasted by me!" Ella demanded.
Then, more Domeoids surrounded Dr. Dome's Domebot.
"But I tell you I'm not controlling them. If I was, then my domed head would be red, too." Dr. Dome pointed out as he pointed his finger to his glowing blue technological head.
"He's telling the truth." Lee said with glowing blue eyes. "I'm sensing another aura in here."
"If you're not controlling them, then who is?" Donnie asked.
"I am!"
Everyone turned their heads to see a woman walking forward as the Domeoids moves aside for her arrival.
Doc Dome gasped in a mix of shock and surprise.
"Battling Bernice? Alive?" Dr. Dome exclaimed.
"How's that possible?" Stainless Steve asked.
"Nobody stays dead for very long in comic books." Mikey commented.
"Look closer, Dome. What do you see?" The mysterious woman said.
Dr. Dome climbed down his Domebot and approached the mysterious woman.
"I see the woman I love and justice...young?" Dr. Dome said in surprise. He immediately realized his supposed lover was supposed to be around his age, instead of looking younger right in front of him. "You should be older. You're not Battling Bernice!"
"That's right." The mysterious woman confirmed as she walked up to the Battling Bernice shrine. "I'm her daughter, Ananda."
Everyone looked shocked by the mysterious woman's announcement.
"Whoa." Ellie murmured.
"You're lying. I would've known if Bernice had a daughter." Dr. Dome argued.
"She didn't want anyone to know. That's why she quit the team when she did. But you pulled her back in, all of you, and now I will have my revenge on those who took my mother away from me." Ananda explained.
The Domebot reached its robotic arms and grabbed each of the Justice Force members. The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey were still inside the Domebot.
"Not so fast, lady!" Casey called out.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, and Casey hopped down out of the Domebot. Ananda looked up at the Domebot and controlled it, causing it to break free from Donna's rocky hands and reached down to grab Raph and Leo. The Domebot then stomped its foot down on Mikey.
"Mikey!" Donnie called out.
The Domebot stomped its foot on Donnie and then caught Casey between its hands that was still holding Leo and Raph before lifting him. A group of Domeoids jumped and tackled Lee, Ella, Ellie, and Donna from different directions.
Two Domeoids grabbed onto Dr. Dome's arms.
"But how are you able to control all my robots?" Dr. Dome asked.
"I thought you would have figured that one out by now..." Ananda replied. She removed her helmet and revealed a glowing red dome on her head. "Daddy!"
Dr. Dome gasped in horror.
"That's right. I inherited all of your mental powers." Ananda continued. "I took control of your lab and your Domeoids and abducted your teammates, knowing everyone would blame you for the kidnappings. Nothing would have been more satisfying to me than watching you all destroy each other, but now I'll just have to destroy you all myself."
Ananda sent out a signal from her dome, sending the Domeoids to charge forward at the heroes. She laughed evilly as everyone was struggling to break free.
With a determined face, Dr. Dome's dome head started to glow blue.
"Must gain control." Dr. Dome murmured.
The Domeoids' domes changed from red to blue. Under Dr. Dome's control, his Domebot released Casey, the Turtles, and the Justice Force as the Domeoids moved off of the Lotus Ninjas.
"Oh, no, you don't." Ananda said.
Ananda concentrated her technopathic power and sent out her own signal again, regaining full control of the Domeoids once their domes reverted from blue to red.
Dr. Dome tried to regain control of his mechanical robots, but his dome head started sparking and cried out loudly in pain that made him fall to the ground.
"Face it, Daddy. You're old, and you're weak." Ananda said.
Under Ananda's control, the Domebot then grabbed and picked up Dr. Dome. The Domeoids began to surround the heroes while lifting their weapons high in the air.
"Everyone concentrate your attack on Ananda!" Donnie called out.
Donnie smashed a row of Domeoids with his Bo staff. The Lotus NInjas blasted their elemental magic at the charging Domeoids. Stainless Steve wrecked two Domeoids with his steel saucer.
"There's too many of 'em. We can't even get close to her." Stainless Steve said.
"No, wait." Mikey said as he batted one of the Domeoids away with his nunchucks. "Don't concentrate your attack!"
"And then split her focus in as many directions as possible." Ellie added. "This way, she'll lose control on her robots all at once."
"Mikey, Ellie, are you sure?" Leo asked.
"Trust us." Mikey and Ellie replied.
The Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, Casey, and the Justice Force charged separately from each other as they started fighting and taking out several Domeoids in different positions, causing Ananada to lose her immediate focus.
"Too many happening at once! I can't control it all!" Ananda exclaimed.
Then, the Domebot began falling in front of Ananda.
"No!" Ananda yelled.
The Domebot landed on Ananda's leg, trappin her in place and destroying the Battling Bernice shrine. Ananda's control with the Domeoids stopped in an instant. As Ananda tried to free her leg, Dr. Dome freed himself from the Domebot's clutches with his technopathic power and then walked over to Ananda.
"Here. Let me help you, daughter." Dr. Dome said. He used his technopathic power to make the Domebot stand up. "Ananda, look at me."
Ananda slowly looked up at her father.
"No one forced your mother back into the Justice Force. She chose this life, and she chose to give her life to save others. But you still have one parent who's very much alive…" Dr. Dome said. He held his hands out, allowing his daughter to take his with hers before standing up on her feet. "And wants to be a part of your life."
With that, Dr. Dome and Ananda hugged warmheartedly as the Turtles, the Lotus Ninjas, Casey, and the Justice Force watched with smiles.
Later on, everyone stood outside of the dome shaped building. The Turtles and Casey sat on their motorcycles as the Lotus Ninja sat behind the Turtles on their Shell Cycles.
"I can't thank you fellas enough for your help. This could've easily ended in tragedy, but it looks like things will turn out okay." Stainless Steve said.
"Thanks to these young whippersnappers." Zippy Lad pointed out, slapping Mikey on the back.
"How'd you two ever come up with such a clever strategy?" Joey Elastic asked curiously.
"Don't you remember? That's how you defeated the Grim Repo in issue 57 when he took possession of Dr. Dome's brain." Mikey explained as he put his helmet on his head.
"We know that issue will work to our advantage." Ellie said.
"Well, what do you know? Mikey and Ellie's comic-book geekdom turned out to be good for something." Raph commented.
Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Casey started driving off with Ella, Lee, and Donna.
But Stainless Steve's voice halted Mikey from leaving with Ellie.
"Hey, Mikey. Ellie." Stainless Steve called out.
Stainless Steve tossed two Justice Force emergency signal devices to Mikey and Ellie, who caught them in their hands.
"Whoa! Is this…an official Justice Force super-secret signal device?" Ellie gasped in surprise.
"Consider yourselves honorary Justice Force members." Stainless Steve confirmed.
"Awesome!" Mikey beamed.
"Oh yeah!" Ellie cheered.
Ellie hugged Mikey and pecked a kiss on his cheek. Mikey's eyes widened in surprise before putting on a wide, happy smile.
"Yahoo!" Mikey hollered.
With that, Mikey sped away with Ellie on his Shell Cycle into the sunset.
Mikey and Ellie were reading a new Justice Force comic book together, which became an official 137th issue. They looked at the last page that showed them riding away on Mikey's Shell Cycle. Mikey closed the comic book as he and Ellie looked at the cover that revealed themselves, the Justice Force, and Ananda on it.
"Now that's a satisfying ending." Mikey said.
"You said it." Ellie agreed.
