(A/N) What does insanity depicting insanity look like? What does a reflection of a reflection look like? When the time came to write this episode, I knew there was irony drizzled in everything that was said. And I was having a blast writing. But don't worry, to stop me from getting too meta, I got Deadpool pointing a gun at my head.
Deadpool: Hello, readers! Miss me? Don't worry, you'll see me in action again. (cocking gun) Or the writer isn't going to be finishing Secret Wars 2.
(A/N) I have plans for you, don't worry! You'll have a part in the finale.
Deadpool: I better.
(A/N) Now on with the story!
All was quiet in San Fransokyo. All quiet, that is, except for the roaring inferno engulfing the San Fransokyo Biometric Laboratory. Luckily, Big Hero 9 was ready to save the day. There was Chop Chop. Speed Queen. Flame Jumper. Arachno-bot. Flame Jumper. Tall Girl. Red Wing. Spider-Man. Red Panda. And of course, their fearless leader, Captain Cutie.
"My beautiful girlfriend is in there." Captain Cutie said. "We have to save her. Come on."
As Captain Cutie led his team inside, he felt not the burning of the flames, but the burning of his desire to save his one true love.
Chop Chop tried to open the door but gasped as it was too hot. " Too hot!"
Speed Queen looks up at the vent in the ceiling. "I see another way. I'll skate up that wall. Speed Queen Veloci-shot!"
They came out from the other end and ended up in an inferno. It was almost the end for Big Hero 9.
"We can't give up now." Captain Cutie stated.
"What do we do, people?" Red Wing asks.
Tall Girl then looked over to the water fountain. "Feeling thirsty, Chop Chop?"
"Hear you loud and clear, Tall Girl." Chop Chop said as he sliced the water fountain. "Time to make chop chop!
"Things are about to get muy caliente." Flame Jumper said. "Ice ball, Tall Girl."
"You can't teach tall." Tall Girl said as she threw an ice ball. "Red Wing! Give us a spin!"
Red Wing then flew into the air and used her wings to spread the gas and even picked up speed as she managed to get it everywhere. When Tall Girl threw the chem ball, it turned the fog into snow and put out the fires. They then reached the door where Captain Cutie's girlfriend was behind.
"It's the door to my beautiful girlfriend's very important office!" Captain Cutie said.
"Stand back." Red Panda said. "It's time for Overdrive Mode."
Red Panda then transformed and turned into a bulkier version of him and punched the door down. Inside her very important office was Captain Cutie's one true love.
Karmi.
They ran to one another and embraced one another and-
"Uh, what am I looking at?" Hiro asks.
"I don't know, but I don't know if I like it or resent it," Peter admitted.
"It's the coolest thing ever!" Fred cried as he was the one showing it to them. "Someone with the tag, "KheartsQT wrote FanFiction. About us, you guys!"
Hiro went over and moved the mouse over the name tag and a photo of Karmi showed up. "Karmi."
Meanwhile, at the San Fransokyo prison, there was a lot of chaos going on due to the whole situation regarding Venom. A lot of prisoners had to be moved around, and due to this fact, some of their higher prisoners such as Momokase. Momokase leaped onto the ceiling and quickly marked another tally to count the days she had been trapped.
When she landed, Obake strolled in wearing a guard's uniform. He slipped a small envelope into the cell and Momokase was confused when she then opened it and saw it was a piece of paper with a small fragment of her blade.
"You can thank me later," Obake said as he left.
"Lovely," Was all Momokase had to say.
It didn't take long for Momokase to escape her cell, leaving behind nothing but destruction with the small blade.
Baymax and Hiro were surveying the city for potential threats. While Baymax was more focused on the task, Hiro was engrossed in reading Karmi's story. Well, not much engrossed but more disturbed.
"Hiro." Bayamx got his attention.
"Huh? What?" Hiro broke out of his distraction.
"You seem distracted." Baymax noticed.
"Who would name a superhero "Captain Cutie?" Karmi's story is so stupid!" Hiro exclaimed in annoyance.
"Karmi's story is so genius," Fred stated, reading the story from the labs. Peter and Peni were enhancing the SP//DR with Wasabi's help to fix one of the legs. "She is clearly building towards an epic saga here."
"It is pretty cool to have fan fiction about us," Wasabi commented. "The name alone implies that we have fans."
"Meh, I am already used to it." Peter shrugged as he passed a piece to Peni, who started enhancing her computer board. "Fan theories, fanfiction, articles, I've read them all."
"Why?" Peni wonders, poking her head out to show SP was on her shoulder.
"It just sorta happened." Peter shrugged. "There were a lot of stories about me, and I always seemed to be paired with vague famous celebrities or someone I know."
Deadpool then backhanded the writer, causing him to cry in pain. "Oh, come on, that was organically said!"
"Too much!" Deadpool exclaimed.
"Okay, fine!" The writer started getting back to the main story.
News of the story seemed to spread to everyone as Teresa was with GoGo and Honey Lemon at their apartment. She was looking to enhance her wing's durability while Honey was reading the story.
"I feel like a celebrity," Honey exclaimed. "But I'm not that tall." GoGo and Teresa didn't even need to say anything as they looked over to their friend. "Okay, that's fair."
"Creative expression can be a positive way to connect with people," Baymax said as they landed on one of the blimps.
"Maybe, but not this stuff," Hiro exclaimed. "It's the worst! What she has us doing? It's not possible!"
"I've never tried skating vertically, but technically possible," GoGo commented.
"And the whirlwind idea isn't that bad." Teresa commented, "Though I would need a way to keep myself from getting dizzy."
"I wonder what the fans are gonna call Captain Cutie and Karmi as a couple," Fred commented. "Cute-armie? Karm-utie? I dunno, I dunno, but it's exciting."
"No!" Peter exclaimed. "Not after what you did with me and Teresa."
"How many times do I have to say I am sorry about that?" Fred wonders.
"How about for every fanfic there is about me and my sister because of you?" Peter dared him.
Then he got an alert on his phone, getting them to focus on that. "Breaking news. Prison breaking, that is. Master thief and renowned sushi chef, Momakase has escaped."
"I don't believe it!" Fred exclaimed.
Teresa then called, getting their attention. "Hey, you guys get the news?"
"Yeah, Fred's looking at it right now," Peter stated.
"They're demolishing Krei's old lab on Akuma Island!" Fred cried.
"What?! No! Momakase busted out of prison." Wasabi exclaimed.
"Yeah, what are you talking about?" Peni wonders.
"Ohh," Fred said as he looked at his news alert. "I must get different alerts than you guys."I'm very attached to Akuma Island."
"You mean the place we first got our butts kicked?" Wasabi asked.
"Exactly! It's a key location in our origin story." Fred tells him.
"Your origin, maybe." Peni scoffed. "Mine is my garage."
"Mine was at the school," Teresa called in.
"And you could argue mine was at a wrestling tournament," Peter replied.
"Can we get back to the crazy knife lady?" Hiro asked them. He then turned to face Baymax. "Baymax, can you find her?
"Scanning for Momakase," Baymax said as electronic whirring exited his helmet. "Momakase is currently heading south of Night Market Square."
"Show me, where it is." Hiro jumped on his back.
"Go get her, Captain Cutie." Wasabi was having fun with this.
"Wasabi!" Hiro was not a fan of that nickname.
Momokase was running down the street when she heard the rockets coming from Baymax. She scoffed as she saw he was coming for her.
"Hmph! Superheroes." Momokase scoffed.
Baymax flew to try to keep up as Momokase ran down the street and leaped over some walls to escape.
"Momakase is very fast," Baymax commented.
They flew into an alleyway that was too small for Baymax to move and got stuck. "I am stuck." He commented.
Hiro then jumped and began to persist her on foot. He managed to grab onto her leg before she could leap over the wall. "You're not getting away," Hiro promised.
Abruptly, the twang of a crossbow bolt slicing through the air caused Hiro to gasp and let go of Momokase. As he spun around to identify the shooter, Hiro's eyes stretched in astonishment at the sight of Kraven the Hunter wielding the crossbow. His amazement intensified when the arrow exploded, creating a smokescreen that facilitated Momokase's escape.
"I am still stuck," Baymax commented.
Hiro wandered the halls of SFIT, ready to discuss his latest adventures with the team. Currently, he was with Peter and Fred, narrating the incidents he had faced the previous night.
"Kraven is back and working with Momokase?" Peter was shocked to hear. "I thought that dude left after that whole incident in the woods."
"So they're working together now?" Fred asked.
"Yeah, this is not good," Hiro commented.
"Unless you're really into supervillain fan fiction, then it would be great," Fred stated. "I'd call them Momo-Kraven. Or Kra-ke."
"Fred, the last thing I wanna talk about is fan-" Hiro was not watching where he was going and ran into Karmi.
"Hiro! I was in the middle of my process." Karmi stated in anger.
"Your what?" Hiro was afraid to ask.
"Not that it's any of your business, but I'm working on chapter two of my Big Hero 9 fan fiction," Karmi tells him, showing she was writing on her phone. "And I just got to the part where Captain Cutie-"
"Um, that's okay, Karmi, I don't I don't really get fan fiction," Hiro said as he walked past her.
Karmi groans when she hears that. "Of course, you don't get it. You don't have a soul, but I do, and so do a lot of other people. Like Fredalicious24?"
Peter looked over to Fred and raised a brow. "That's what you went with?"
"What?" Fred shrugged.
"Do you really think it's you know, okay to write fan fiction about real people?" Hiro asks.
"Why would you care?" Karmi wonders.
"I don't!" Hiro tried covering his tail.
Karmi wasn't sure how to take that and shrugged. "Okay, then." She then looked over to Peter. "Peter, you wanted to see me about the...project?"
"Right." Peter nodded as this had to do with the Symbiote. They were going to try and destroy it for good, get it away for good. "The project. I almost forgot about that."
"Gotta run," Karmi said as she and Peter made their way to the labs. "Places to go, people who aren't you to see. Chapter two goes live tonight!"
The hallways erupted with cheers, demonstrating her story's significant impression on everyone.
"Yes! Chapter two! I'm so..." Fred saw Hiro's face. "I'm Maybe I'll read it, you know, eventually, if I'm bored."
Momakase was now in Obake's lab while pointing her knife at his throat. "So, what are you supposed to be?"
"Someone who finds Big Hero 9 tiresome," Obake tells her.
"Join the club." Momokase scoffed.
"Actually, that's what I was going to offer you," Obake commented with a smile, moving her knife out of his face. "A chance to eliminate our mutual enemies."
"Hmm, I'm listening." Momokase put her blade away.
"I've been doing a little research," Obake said as he pulled up all knowledge on Big Hero 9. "Well, aren't you thorough?"
"Everything about them," Obake said as he passed a shutdown Noodle Burger Boy. "Who they are, what they can do, who they fight. Oh, look. There's you. Does my club sound fun?"
Momokase throws her blade and shatters his computer screen. "I'm in. How many other members are there?"
"Two others," Obake said as he looked upward. "I believe you two have met."
Kraven then leaped down and landed in between Obake and Momokase. "Ah, Momo."
Momokase growled, drawing another blade and dashing towards Kraven, who remained unflinching even as the blade came perilously close to his throat. "Kraven! I wasn't aware you were even in San Fransokyo." She stated.
"I came here for the ultimate hunt," Kraven explained to her, moving the blade aside. "But I am happy to see you still have the same fire."
"That fire might just burn you," Momokase warned him.
"Now, now, kids, is this going to be an issue?" Obake asked them.
"No." They both replied, yet it didn't sound convincing.
"Good," Obake said, handing a wristband to Momokase.
"Hmm, scan-jammer," Momokase commented as she took it and placed it on her arm. "I like this club."
"Kraven has the details on the next assignment," Obake said as he took a seat. "Good luck.
"Try not to get in my way, Kraven," Momokase said as she placed her blade away and yanked it out of the computer screen. "That's how things went last time. When you allowed those cops to catch up with us."
"Kraven enjoys the chase," Kraven replied as he followed Momokase out.
"I didn't enjoy the night in jail I spent before I managed to get out." Momokase retorted.
"I was going to break you out," Kraven promised her. "I was planning-"
"The HUNT!" Momokase interrupted him in anger. "The hunt, the hunt, it is always the hunt with you!"
At SFIT, Peter and Karmi analyzed the data collected on the Symbiote. Karmi proposed several strategies to Peter for the permanent eradication of the creature. Meanwhile, the Symbiote continued its struggle to escape its confinement, appearing to reach out in an attempt to reattach itself to Peter.
"Yeah, I highly doubt we are going to get our hands on a rocket," Peter told her.
"Yeah, I kinda figured as much," Karmi admitted with a shrug. "Just a suggestion."
"You got any better options?" Peter asks. "Or at least any realistic options?"
"Well, since it survived the dark vacuum of space to reach us, I can safely say that freezing it won't do anything." Karmi shrugged.
"So, what about burning it?" Peter asks.
Karmi looked over her attempts to figure out how to kill it and saw that was a possibility. "Huh...why didn't I think of that?"
"And you have that room that heats up, right?" Peter asked as he gestured to the room where she kept her samples. "We crank up the heat in there, and in a few hours we would have nothing left, right?"
Karmi thought of it and shrugged. "I guess. But we are not killing A1-004, R69-5, L4-382, or 95-414."
Peter almost forgot that she viewed the viruses she researched as friends, which made him feel somewhat sorry for her. However, she wasn't much of a people person, so it wasn't entirely her fault.
"Okay...no problem," Peter promised.
After removing all her specimens and placing them around her lab, Karmi and Peter positioned the Symbiote in the center of the room and shut the door. They set the room's temperature to rise to 200 degrees to safely incinerate the Symbiote without risking a fire at the school.
"So, how long do you think it'll take?" Peter asks Karmi.
"Maybe an hour or two. It's programmed to lower the temperature in about thirty minutes." Karmi said as she watched Peter close the door. "That should be enough time to incinerate the creature."
"Let's hope so." Peter sighed and the two made their way out.
As Peter and Karmi exited the building, they failed to notice the janitor who was observing them. The man, who had been maintaining a low profile, was actually Eddie Brock in disguise. Using a fake ID, he had managed to infiltrate the school and shadow Peter's movements for the day. He found it strange that Peter was in that particular location, a place where he wasn't meant to be.
Eddie, now alone in the hallway, made his way towards a mop bucket where he had cleverly hidden a camera. He pulled it out and headed towards the labs, hoping to find something that would give him an advantage over Peter. Once inside, he began taking photos of everything he could, hoping to uncover something useful.
However, things took an unexpected turn. As Eddie was busy taking photos, the extreme heat caused by the malfunctioning air conditioning system caused the glass container holding the Symbiote to shatter. The sudden sound of glass breaking caught Eddie's attention, and he quickly made his way towards the source of the noise. C
"What secrets are you hiding in here, Parker?" Eddie asked as he raised his hand to open the door.
Driven by curiosity, he stepped into the room, only to be stunned by the sight of the Symbiote, now free from its confinement. It spotted Eddie and seized the opportunity, lunging at him. Eddie let out a shriek as the creature attempted to bond with him. He managed to tear off a small piece that had latched onto him. However, his attempts to flee only resulted in more pieces of the Symbiote clinging to him. His screams echoed in the empty space, unheard in the late hours of the night. Gradually, the Symbiote began to assimilate with Eddie, who continued to howl in horror. Once it overpowered him, the Symbiote enveloped Eddie Brock, deeming him a more fitting host than Peter Parker—a host that shared its intense hatred. United by their desire for vengeance, albeit for different reasons, they found a common purpose.
"Eddie Brock, we sense your fury. Your hatred and its taste is sweet."
Eddie looked around in the same black void that Peter fought the Symbiote in not too long ago.
"Do you hate Peter Parker?"
"You have to ask?" Eddie asked in anger.
"No. But we have much to show." The Symbiote said.
Eddie witnessed the pivotal moments of Peter Parker's life unfold before him. He saw Peter's transformation into Spider-Man, his confrontations with the Shocker, and his skirmishes with the Jackal. He observed the repeated battles with the Shocker, the clash with Kraven, and the night Peter first merged with the Symbiote. When Peni first went out as a hero in the SP suit. Flashes of Peter's private life also appeared: his date with GoGo, time spent with friends, and even the identities of the entire circle.
"How could I have never seen it?" Eddie asked in anger. "Peter Parker is Spider-Man."
"We have a common enemy. The Spider sought to destroy us, too. Now join with us, Eddie Brock. Bond with us. Mind, body, and soul."
"Yes." Eddie submitted to the Symbiote.
"Accept the gift Parker rejected, and together we will have our desire!"
And so it was finished. Eddie was transforming into something far more terrifying than any foe Peter had previously encountered. He was becoming Venom. As he grew, he unwittingly made his way out of the school, completely metamorphosed into a monstrous entity.
"We will become dangerous. Deadly. We are VENOM!"
"When last we saw our heroes, they had just pulled Captain Cutie's beautiful girlfriend from a raging inferno." Fred was reading the recent chapter that Karmi posted.
"Oh, do you have to?" Hiro asked annoyed by the story.
"Aw, I was gonna do the voices and everything!" Fred groans.
"I don't even know why you're giving Karmi the clicks," Hiro said as he was trying to locate their crazed enemies.
"She's just having fun, Hiro." Honey Lemon defended her.
"Why do you care so much?" Teresa wonders.
"Because Captain Cutie's embarrassed about Karmi's crush on him." GoGo took an obvious guess.
"I'm not embarrassed!" Hiro denied.
"The increased blood flow to your cheeks is a common sign of embarrassment," Baymax said, showing examples on his screen.
Hiro nervously laughed and tried to change the subject. "Okay, Baymax, try scanning for Momakase or Kraven again."
"Scanning," Baymax said as he did a scan of the city. "Unable to locate Momakase or Kraven."
"Weird," Hiro said as he tried to find out if there was something wrong. "The diagnostics check out there's nothing wrong with Baymax's scanner."
"Scan-jammer." Peter took a guess. The same reason we couldn't find Noodle Burger Boy. She's got one."
"Must be, but what if Baymax scans for heat signatures?" Wasabi wonders. "Graphene conducts heat."
"Sure, sure," Fred said as he came up to them. "I know I understand what you're talking about, but maybe Hiro doesn't, you know?"
"Even if he can't find Momakase, he can find her blades," Peni explained.
"Baymax?" Hiro asks.
"Scanning for graphene heat signature," Baymax said. "I have detected graphene at SecuriTech."
"SecuriTech? Don't they make prison security systems?" Teresa asks.
"Wait. She breaks out of prison, and now her plan is to what? Break back in?" GoGo asks.
"And it doesn't really take much work to do that," Peter said, getting flashbacks to what he did. "Considering what went down when I was...Venom."
"Yeah, do us all a favor and refrain from saying that name again," Teresa asked of her brother. "I'd better wish to forget about it."
"I guess we're gonna find out why she's doing this," Hiro said.
The team all arrived at the company and what they found was the place was empty and the front door was unlocked.
GoGo scoffed as they went inside. "Some security company."
"Or some thief," Teresa commented.
"Baymax, where's Momakase?" Hiro asks.
Baymax began to search. "Scanning. A small amount of graphene is traveling south on Ichiba Street at a rapid pace."
"Not rapid enough!" GoGo stated as she immediately sped off to chase her down.
"Right behind you!" Teresa said as she flew off with GoGo to chase her.
"Wouldn't you think they'd have an alarm or something?" Hiro asks as he picks up a file.
"They're a security company. I assume they could get a good deal." Fred stated.
"Are we sure Momakase was here? I mean, there's no sign of her anywhere." Peni commented as they looked around.
Then when Wasabi touched one of the walls, they shredded into pieces, followed by fragments of the wall, and the glass itself shattering around them.
"You were saying?" Peter asks sarcastically.
Momokase was running down the streets while GoGo was hot on her trail, and Teresa was following close behind. They saw Momokase running into oncoming traffic and turning.
"You go this way, I go that way!" Teresa said as she flew forward and allowed GoGo to keep following.
Momokase then turned a corner into an alleyway with a dead end. "Got her!" GoGo stated. But Momokase quickly leaped and made it onto the roof and ran for it. "And I've lost her." Then she got an idea as she looked at her disks. "Unless..." She then spun her disks to have them build up speed, getting her a chance to get down and build up speed to then run up the wall. "Ha!" She cheered as she landed on the roof. "Hey, velocity-shot worked." She then spun her disk around. "Thank you, Karmi."
Fred was giddy with excitement as he looked around the secret room. "Ooh! This is the top secret room where they do top secret stuff."
Honey Lemon walked up to some strange-looking bars and touched them, causing them to shock her. "Ow!"
Then they watched as the bars became electrical charging and turned purple. The lights began clanking as they turned on. Then all of the lab equipment began to shatter, causing them to become spooked. Then the only computer screen to not shatter turned on, and showed a digital Momokase laughing maniacally.
"Hmm, I mean, she didn't really capture her bone structure," Fred commented on the digital version of Momokase. "I can tell because it's so striking. I mean, we all have eyes, right?"
"Fred, I don't think she was going with authenticity," Peni replied.
"We now have to assume she has everything the security company was working on," Peter said in concern. "And with all of this, she definitely covered her tracks."
Honey Lemon however was still optimistic. "She hasn't escaped yet! No one outruns GoGo."
Momokase was still running when Teresa flew up and blocked her path. "Hey there! Going somewhere?"
"Yes," Momokase said with a grin. "Bringing you here."
Then something fired on her, causing Teresa to spin and see Kraven on a floating platform. "Ah, the Flying One."
"It's Red Wing!" Teresa cried as she drew her guns, only for them to split and fall into pieces. She then looked around and saw it was Momokase who managed to do that. "But...you...I...how?!"
Then Momokase hit a button, causing a ring of fire to swarm Teresa, and spread downward into the building. "Catch me, or save all of these people. Your choice."
Teresa growled as she knew she didn't have a choice and flew over towards the building, leaving Momokase to escape with Kraven. When she reached a window, she saw the fire hadn't spread too far quite yet. Then she remembered that thing that Karmi wrote about a wind tunnel and looked at her wings.
"Hm...let's see." Teresa started to swirl around slowly and began to build up speed. She then used her thrusters on full throttle and flew into the building, actually managing to cool down the fires easily. "Wow, why haven't I tried this before?"
Then when Teresa flung GoGo, the two of them were long gone. "She outran me."
Hiro was back at school and was distracted by the tons of people who seemed to have read Karmi's story and wouldn't stop talking about it.
"KheartsQT just posted chapter three."
"I stayed up all night last night rereading chapter two."
Hiro made his way to the cafeteria for some peace and quiet from people talking about her story.
"I'm so in love with Captain Cutie."
"Do you think any of this actually happened?"
"Obviously, it's on the Internet."
Hiro scoffed as he got up and walked off. But everywhere he went, it was always the same exact thing everywhere.
"Captain Cutie must be so handsome!"
"Karmi is so lucky!"
"Is it "Kar-mutie" or "Cute-armie"?"
"Either way, they're so cute!"
"I totally 'ship "Kar-mutie."
"Kar-mutie!"
"Aah!" Hiro finally shouted in the middle of the quad, getting everyone's attention. He then ran off from the embarrassment.
"What's up with that kid?"
Deadpool and the writer were a little weirded out as that was something they were thinking about.
"Do you think we have fans like that?" The writer asked Deadpool.
"I'd say about five of your readers are like that," Deadpool commented.
Fred was working with Honey Lemon at his place, working on the idea Karmi gave them in her story. They were preparing to try it out on the koi pond at his house.
"So, I steam up the pond, and you freeze up the steam." Fred reminds Honey Lemon.
"Uh, Freddie?" Honey reminded him of the koi in the pond.
Fred instantly got Heathcliff to remove the koi and put them in a tank for now. "So, I steam up the pond, and now you freeze up the steam."
"That's the plan," Honey said as she made a ball. "Ready, Freddie?"
"Born ready, HL," Fred said, preparing to burn the water.
Fred leaped into the air and scorched the water, turning it into steam as planned. Honey then slammed the chemical balls together, causing a giant mist to form, freezing everything. Including Fred
"Sorry!"
"Making Fred-sicles?" Hiro asked as he entered the area.
"We thought since Karmi got it right about GoGo's vertical skating, and Teresa's capabilities to create an air tunnel, maybe she was onto something about Fred and I being able to make ice showers too," Honey explained what they were doing.
Heathcliff started chipping away some of the ice to make snow cones.
"So far, it- it is not working," Fred said as he crawled out of the suit, shivering.
"But we're not giving up!" Honey said.
The thing last night was it was a lucky guess!" Hiro exclaimed.
'Hiro, maybe it would be easier if you just accepted the fact that Karmi has a crush on you." Honey tells him while Fred frees his suit from the ice. "And then you can appreciate she has something to contribute."
"Yeah, besides, it's not like you can get her to stop writing." Fred agreed.
That unintentionally happened to give Hiro an idea. "Oh, that's it! Karmi might not listen to me, but I know someone she will listen to."
Hiro was back at SFIT wearing his superhero attire, trying to sell his pitch. "You see, Karmi, you have gotten too much about us right. My name is Captain Cutie. Captain Jeff Cutie. And my team can't risk you exposing any more of our secrets.
"Jeff?" Wasabi asked.
}Would "Carl" work better?" Hiro asked.
"Listen, Karmi, you're not a very good writer." Hiro tried a new approach. "It'd be better if you just stopped."
"Harsh, and that's coming from me," GoGo commented.
"Karmi, Captain Cutie here." Hiro tried again. "Are you familiar with the phrase "copyright infringement"?" Baymax was wearing a suit and a briefcase in his hand. "Because my lawyer here is prepared to take action. Legal action."
"Mmm, I'm just not sure anyone would buy Baymax as a lawyer," Honey commented, reading a bit more from Karmi's story.
"Say your line," Hiro whispered.
Baymax held out his briefcase. "I object."
Peter scoffed when he saw what Hiro was doing. "Come on, Hiro. There's no harm in anything she's doing. It's all good fun."
GoGo swirled over to what Honey was showing her and grinned. "Really? You sure?"
"Yeah, why?" Peter asked.
"Seems Karmi is a RedSpider fan," Honey explained.
"What?!" Peter shouted.
"As the night sky set on San Fransokyo, Red Wing took Spider-Man into the night sky where-" GoGo was reading when Peter webbed the phone over and turned it off.
Peter then turned over towards Hiro with a twitch in his eyes. "A lawyer is a good approach, but I know a real really good lawyer better than Baymax."
That night, Hiro was preparing to try to stop Karmi and was waiting outside her lab building. "Karmi gets out of the Bio Lab at 7:00, every night." So, where is she?"
Wasabi was on comms and was curious about that. "How do you know that?"
"Not the point!" Hiro cried as he sat down. "She's probably writing chapter four."
Honey Lemon came on comms and sounded worried. "Hiro, you're gonna wanna see this."
Returning to their labs, Hiro was shocked when they saw that Karmi was being held hostage by Kraven and Momokase. The background looked like the old labs of the teleportation labs from Akuma Island. She was tied to a chair in the middle of the room, with one light shining down on them.
"Captain Cutie, meet me at Akuma Island by nine o'clock or you'll never see your beautiful girlfriend again," Momokase said.
Karmi was struggling to try and break free of her restraints. "Let me go!"
The video then closed, but it was enough for them to recognize. "That's Krei's old lab on Akuma Island," Teresa commented.
"Isn't it set to be demolished tonight?" Peter recalled.
Hiro sighed as he grabbed his helmet. "Karmi needs us. And she's not my girlfriend!"
As they embarked on their mission to rescue Karmi, the team headed towards Akuma Island, a place filled with danger and uncertainty. Teresa skillfully landed on the island's rugged terrain, while Bayma aided in carrying the rest of the team. As they set foot on the island, Peni emerged from the water and made her way up towards the gate.
"Kraven and Momakase have to know we're coming," Peter stated as he looked around. "Knowing Kraven, he set this whole place up with traps."
"But they can't catch all of us if we split up," Peni said. "And we actually do have tech."
"She has a point," Teresa commented.
"Whoever gets to Karmi first, signals the others," Hiro said as they prepared to split. "Good luck everyone, and watch out."
"Hands in! Group cheer time!" Fred said, placing his hand in the middle, showing them what to do, but none of them followed. "Yeah, okay, good. We'll save the group cheer for after."
"Sure." Teresa rolled her eyes, even if nobody could see her eyes.
Peni and Teresa were on a mission to explore a highly secured laboratory. As they approached a side of the wall, Peni used her SP//DR and skillfully hacked into the systems, opening the doorway for them to enter. Peni's suit was equipped with advanced technology that allowed her to scan the area for traps and potential dangers. With her tech skills, she carefully entered the area, making sure to avoid any traps.
Teresa followed her sister into the lab, but as they walked, she missed the holographic tripwire hanging above her. As they entered a clearing, Peni's suit alerted her of impending danger, and she quickly looked around to identify the source. That's when Teresa noticed something falling from the ceiling. She immediately recognized it to be an electrified net and tried to fly out of the way, but it was too late. The net was too fast, and it electrocuted both Teresa and Peni, causing their tech to malfunction.
The weight of the net caused them to fall to the ground, rendering them immobile. They were completely trapped, unable to move their limbs or their suits. The electrified net had caused their advanced technology to malfunction, leaving them helpless and electrifying them to stop them from escaping.
As Wasabi and Fred ventured through the familiar hallways, memories of their first encounter with Yokai came flooding back. Fred couldn't contain his excitement, leaping around with joy as he reminisced about the time they officially became a team in these very same halls. Wasabi, on the other hand, was more cautious, attempting to move around with stealth and precision to ensure they wouldn't be caught off guard again. Despite their different approaches, both were determined to succeed and make it through the challenges that lay ahead.
"Big Hero 9 back on Akuma Island Where it all began." Fred sang quietly.
Wasabi followed after him as they reached where the labs were last time. "Just a little further, and we should be able to cut our way inside." He then took a stroll down the hall and reached a familiar doorway. "We should be far enough."
Wasabi then began to cut a circle for them to enter the room. Fred was being a little impatient with how long it was taking. "Can you do that any faster? Look, it doesn't have to be a perfect circle."
"Oh, I'd need a lot more tools to make a perfect circle," Wasabi replied.
But then someone did manage to make a perfect circle around the other wall behind them, spooking the two when they saw it was Momokase holding two blades. "Hello, boys."
As Honey Lemon and GoGo were making their way down, using the roof to avoid detection, they carefully approached the window. Honey Lemon, the chemist of the team, used a special acid to melt the glass and allow them to sneak inside quietly. Once they were inside, they began to make their way down the building. Honey Lemon then used her elastic polymer to carefully lower themselves down towards the ground.
However, their stealthy descent was interrupted by Kraven, who appeared out of nowhere and shot a crossbow bolt at them. The bolt sliced through the canisters of chemicals that Honey Lemon was carrying, causing them to plummet toward the ground. With a loud thud, they hit the pavement, dazed and disoriented. Kraven then landed gracefully, his spear impaling the ground as he landed. He let out a wicked chuckle, ready to face off against the two heroines.
"Ah, the pride come for their cub," Kraven stated as he pulled his spear from the ground. "As expected."
"Expect this!" GoGo cried as she threw her disks, causing Kraven to use his spear to knock it out of the air, slicing it in half at the same time.
"You think that will stop me?" Kraven asked as he watched the two split up and run around. "I am the Apex Predator! I am the perfect specimen!"
"You fell into a hole!" Honey Lemon reminded him as she threw a chemball.
Kraven then used his spear to impale the ball, only ending with a smoke screen. "I underestimated you. I will not make that mistake twice." GoGo tried to speed over at him, but Kraven used the spear to smack her inside the head, breaking her visor and sending her flying.
"GoGo!" Honey Lemon cried as Kraven ended up using the distraction to throw a bola and wrap it around Honey Lemon.
Peter and Hiro used a direct approach as they took the front door. Peter peaked his head in from above, looking into the room and trying to see if there were any traps. He then crawled his way inside and started to look around to try and find Kraven or Momokase.
"Looks quiet," Peter said as he dropped from the ceiling. "Too quiet."
"Let's take that as a good thing," Hiro said as they spotted the observing area. "Maybe we can use the old security system to find Karmi."
"It appears to still be functional," Baymax said as Hiro reactivated the system.
All of the cameras opened up, and they saw that Karmi was being held in the middle of the room. "There she is."
"No sign of Momakase or Kraven." Peter commented in concern.
"There is also no sign of the others," Baymax commented.
"Let's just get her out of here, and look out for Kraven's traps," Peter warns him. "That dude has an obsession with hunting."
Hiro made his way over towards Karmi first and saw her struggling to speak. "Karmi!"
Karmi kept trying to speak while Peter snuck around to make sure there were no traps or hunting traps. "Uh! Careful! It's a-"
"Trap." Momokase said.
Then Peter was shocked when bars came from the ground. The bars began to glow, just like they did back at the security building. Kraven and Momokase were then shown to be watching from the same security room Peter and Hiro were just in. Then lights turned on, revealing the entire team was in the trap.
"I gotta give my mask scanners," Peter commented.
"Welcome, Captain Cutie," Momokase said. "What a good boyfriend you are.
"I'm not..." Hiro stops and clears his throat to stay hidden from Karmi. "I mean, you're not getting away with this."
"I'd say I already have," Momokase stated. "To trap all of you, I actually had to break a sweat."
"Ah, but I enjoyed it," Kraven stated with a grin. He leaped down and stalked the group as they were set free. "Trapping the nine of you shall go down as my greatest Hunt ever!"
"Oh, here we go again." Momokase sighed in anger. "The Hunt. The Hunt. You never stop talking about the Hunt! You see, this is the reason why we broke up."
That revelation froze the entire group, and even Karmi. "Wait, what?" Peter asked.
"Momokase and Kraven dated?" Teresa was disturbed by the thought. "That is just...wow. That broke me."
"That's not all we're going to break," GoGo stated.
Wasabi ran over to cut the bars, but they zapped Wasabi backward.
Honey Lemon got to work creating a chemball. "The bars aren't the only way out."
She then dropped the ball, only for it to bounce upward and smack into the chair Karmi was tied to. The chair then sizzled and was destroyed.
Peter tried to punch the bars, only to be electrified and flung backward into Baymax. "Ow."
"On a scale of-"
"I'm fine!" Peter stopped him. He then stood up with a sigh. "I'm gonna say it, I miss the Symbiote."
GoGo smacked him upside the head for saying that. "Don't even."
"I deserved that," Peter admitted.
"This cell was designed specifically for you," Momokase explained, getting off of her argument with Kraven. "I thought of everything."
"You mean, Obake thought of everything." Hiro corrected her.
"His intel. The ideas are all me." Momokase corrected him.
"Us." Kraven corrected.
"One to take all the credit, one to be annoyed when the credit isn't shared." Momokase sighed in anger.
"What exactly do you guys call yourselves?" Fred wonders. "Is it Kra-ase? My money's on "Momo-Kraven" personally."
"Stupid last words," Momokase stated.
"A disintegration device is about to wipe out everything on this island," Momokase said as she approached the cell. "Was it worth it to reunite with your girlfriend?"
Karmi squealed as she ran over to Hiro. "She called me your girlfriend!"
"Prepare for disintegration."
"That's our cue," Momokase said as she and Kraven started to leave.
"Well, if no one else is going to say it..." Wasabi then begins to scream in terror.
Fred started to stroll and touch the bars. "Okay, we're locked in a super high-tech prison cell, made especially to contain us, and the building is about to be disintegrated."
"But?" GoGo asks.
"Oh, there's no but." I'm just stating the facts here." Fred said.
"This isn't good." Honey Lemon said as she held her hair in terror.
"Oh, boy," Teresa said in fear. "When you say it's not good, it's really not good."
"You guys know another way out, right?" Karmi asked them. "Right?!"
"Actually, I do," Hiro said as he showed a new card and placed it inside Baymax. "Red Panda, engage Overdrive Mode."
Baymax began whirring as his body began to shift and his tech began to converge. "My body is changing." Then his entire body shifted into a bigger version of himself, with glowing red eyes to go with it all. "Overdrive Mode engaged."
"Whaaat?" Fred asks.
"Okay, that's cool," Peter commented with a hint of impression in his voice.
"Overdrive Mode, from my story! It's real!" Karmi said with glee.
"After..." Hiro clears his throat. "After I heard Karmi's story, I made a few tweaks to the armor. It'll drain his battery really quickly, but it's enough to..." Baymax's wings then turned into a giant sword that he used to cut into the bars, splicing them open and even creating a giant hole in the wall. "...do that."
Baymax then turned back to normal and began to slur his talk. "I did the thing!"
"Disintegration in four minutes."
"We've gotta go," Teresa said.
"Can you fly us out, Red Panda?" Hiro asked, seeing Baymax unable to stand.
"I can walk through anything!" Baymax stated and fell over.
"That's a no," Peni commented.
"And I can't fly all of us in time," Teresa commented.
"Ugh, I got Red Panda," Peter said as he picked up Baymax.
"Karmi." Hiro grabbed Karmi's hand. "Follow me."
They then ran towards the hole and made it as far away as they could.
"This is so cool!" Karmi called out.
"Disintegration in two minutes."
"Goodbye, Akuma Island!" Fred said in sorrow.
They ran over and found themselves stopped by a gate. Wasabi was about to break it down when Fred stopped him.
"Say your line, Chop Chop," Fred said.
Wasabi wasn't following but then figured out what he was saying. "Oh, yeah. Time to make chop-chop!"
They then ran towards the cliffside and saw there was no way out. "Should we swim?" Karmi asks.
"Not enough time," Hiro stated.
"Ready, Flame Jumper?" Honey saw what they needed to do and created a chem ball.
"Ready, Tall Girl," Fred said.
"If you want to rethink my name, I think I'd be okay with that," Honey tells Karmi.
Then Fred leaped into the air and started to scorch the water to create steam. "Things are about to get muy caliente."
"Can't teach tall!" Honey cried as they used the steam to create an ice slide for them to escape. "We should talk about the catchphrase too."
Then the bomb finally went off, and a giant wave of destruction was heading towards them. "Time to run!" Peni called out.
"She's right!" Peter said as they leaped down the ice slide.
"Buildings go bye-bye," Baymax said.
The explosion managed to destroy a portion of the slide, but they were able to ride the wave it created to get away and begin making it toward the mainland.
"Honeyzilla saves the day!" Fred said with a sigh.
"Honeyzilla?" Honey wasn't following.
"Oh, that's what we'd be called if there were people 'shipping us," Fred explained as he showed he created cue cards. "I've got them for everyone on the team. Gogosabi, Fredsabi, Honeysabi, GogoSpider, RedSP. I'm banking on Wasabi being a fan favorite. I mean, look at him. He's so cool."
Teresa immediately shot the cards, causing them to go up in flames. "No!"
"Yeah, I need therapy now because of you and RedSpider," Peter stated.
"I can't believe you created Overdrive Mode because of me," Karmi said with a squeal.
"That's right," Hiro confirmed. "You're really the one that saved the day back there."
"So then, you liked my story?" Karmi asked.
"Yeah, about that, Karmi I've been meaning to say to you, uh, that..." Hiro was going to finally ask her to stop writing but sighed in the end. He just couldn't do it. It did inspire them to create new tactics that helped save the day in the end. Well, their lives at least. "As long as there's a Captain Cutie, there will always be justice."
Karmi then squeals and giggles, and then pulls Hiro in for a hug. "This is the best day ever!"
And so our heroes saved the day.
"Yay, Karmi!" Big Hero 9 cries out.
"Yay, Karmi." Red Panda said.
Captain Cutie then approached her as the team moved aside. "We'd be honored if you became the newest member of Big Hero 9."
"Big Hero 10? I'm in."
"And I have one more question." Captain Cutie said as he got down on one knee. "Karmi, will you marry me?"
"Aah!" Hiro cried in terror. " I don't want to hear anymore."
Fred ended up laughing. "What? I was just kidding. It actually ends with them kissing."
Hiro froze and wondered if this was a good idea.
As Peter and Karmi were under the impression that the Symbiote had been successfully destroyed, little did they know that the creature was still lurking in the shadows, wreaking havoc throughout the city. Meanwhile, Venom was demonstrating to Eddie the immense potential that they possessed when working together.
With a mighty leap, Venom displayed his incredible power, launching himself onto the side of a nearby building. He then began to crawl upwards, showing Eddie the breathtaking view of the city from above. The skyscrapers and bustling city streets stretched out below them, a testament to the vastness of their surroundings.
As they surveyed the scene, Venom continued to demonstrate his incredible strength and agility, leaping from one building to the next with ease. Eddie was amazed by the creature's power and skill, realizing that together they could accomplish incredible feats.
"All of this power. Together, we can destroy Spider-Man." Venom promises.
"Then it seems we have a common interest." Venom snarled as he turned around and saw it was Obake who spoke. "Interesting." He then approached the creature without fear. "Very interesting. Do you remember me at all? I know we only met for a quick moment, but if I knew what you were then..."
"We remember." Venom snarled and Eddie revealed himself through the suit.
"And what do you know about what I want?" Eddie asks.
"You wanted to hurt Peter Parker. You want his girl. I can help you with that." Obake promised, his face glowing with a grin growing.
