"a world beyond my understanding? what the heck is that supposed to mean?!" Roland ask as the princess has a confused look on her face. "there is a hidden world underneath your feet, a world of Trolls, Wizards, Goblins and Dragons." Erik said as Roland's eyes widen in confusion. "I, I need a minute." he said as he walk to a wall, trying to adjust to the information he had as Valentina tilts her head.

"Is everything alright Sir Whittingham?" she asked in concerned. "yeah. i'm just processing." Roland replied, Erik then rolls his eyes as Roland takes a deep breath. "ok, I think I'll be fine now." Roland said, as Valentina smiles. "so, your a princess?" Roland ask. "why yes." she replied.

"any way, enough about that." Erik said as he then looks at Valentina and he kneels down to her. "Princess, I would like to be the first to welcome you, in the 21st century." Erik said. "ummmm, thank you?" Valentina replied, feeling really confused and uncomfortable. "like I said before, my name is Erik Volturcius. I am a member of The Calibur Knights." he said as Valentina tilts her head. "you have been in that crystal for the past 800 years, princess."

"800 years?!" she replied in shock. "yes, and I was task to bring you back to England, for I am the descendant of Sir Lancelot" Erik said as Valentina's eyes widen. "what?!" she asked

"oh, it means a person, plant, or animal that is descended from a particular an..."

"I know what descendant means."

Roland was just watching them as he has no idea what to say. "ok then, now, princess." Erik then offer his hand. "come with me, you'll be safe." he said, as Valentina's face change to a annoyed as she look at his hand. "no" she said as Erik then had a confused look. "what?" he said. "I said no." Valentina replied. "come now, let's be reasonable here." Erik said. "I have no interest in going with you." she replied again as Erik's eye twitch, as he then takes a deep breath. "princess, you have to come with me, because it's not safe to be here, as when that idiot over there freed you, it caused a wave of energy, making all magic users to sense it" Erik explained, however Valentina had no interest on what he saying as she then went over to Roland, clinging on to him as she looks at Erik, Roland was confused and nervous. "I think I'd rather go with him instead" Valentina said.

"wait what?!" Roland thinks as he gets timid by Erik's glare. "ummmmmm, can't we just talk about this?" Roland asked, trying to not get anyone angry at him. "no one cares..." Erik replies. "you can't be serious, why him? he's not even supposed to be here, this fool just wandered in here by accident." Erik said "ummmm" Roland said.

"And he's the one who saved me from that crystal, to me he's a true example of a knight." Valentina said as Roland was surprised on her kind words. "now step aside and let us go." she said.

"but" Erik said before being interrupted by Valentina. "I'm the princess, and I order you to step aside." Valentina demanded as Erik grudgingly takes a step back and let's them go past, as Valentina holds Roland as he has a awkward look on his face as Erik gives a menacing stare at him.

"ok, so, that was nice for you to say those kind words, Valentina, but are you sure you want to go with me? I mean you don't even know me." Roland said. "maybe so, but I don't want to go with someone like him." Valentina replies. "do you even know where your going to stay?" Roland asked. "I don't" Valentina said as she thinks about it. "maybe I can stay with you? if that's ok?" she said, as Roland get's all red. "what? with me?" Roland said. "I don't know." he then sees that she is making a innocent look, her eyes widened like a adorable kitten as Roland rub the back of his head before giving in. "fine, fine, I'll let you stay."

Roland then opens the house door and see his mum on the couch watching T.V and drinking tea "oh, your back late?" she said as she turns to look at him, not sounding mad but more curious. "yeah, sorry about that mum, I... lost track of time?" Roland said hoping that she buy it as he sees Valentina at the window trying to get the backyard. "did you at least made some friends in Arcadia?" she asked. "ummmmmmm, sort of?" Roland replied awkwardly as he trying to keep his mother from seeing Valentina. "oh good!" she replied as Valentina made it to the backyard. "well, I think it's time for me to go to sleep, Night-Night mum." Roland said. "Night-Night." she replied.

as Roland went up stairs, he open a window and see Valentina "ok, now you need to climb to that outdoor table and I'll reach for you." Roland said as Valentina nod in agreement, as she climb on the table and try to grab Roland's hand, Roland lean on to the window, he grab her hand but nearly slipped, however he got a grip and the he pulls her in, however she fell on him.

they then sneak through the upstairs hallway and enter into Roland's room. "ok, well, this is my room." Roland said, a little nervous, as he never had invited a girl to his room before. "wow, this looks amazing." Valentina said as she sits on the bed. "so, I have some questions.. well actually I have a lot of questions, but that would take all night." Roland said as Valentina looks at him. "sure, ask away" Valentina replied. "ok, here goes are you really 800 years old?" Roland asked as Valentina thinks about it. "i'm not really sure? i'm really sixteen" Valentina said. "huh, so your the same age as me?" Roland replied. "ok, my next question, that Erik guy said your last name is Pendragon, as in like from the Arthurian legend, do you have any relation to Arthur Pendragon?" Roland ask. "I don't know what you mean on that first one, but the last one yeah, Arthur Pendragon is my father." Valentina replied.

"wait... HE'S YOUR DAD!?" Roland said in surprised as she tilts her head. "so that means the whole Arthurian legend is true?" Roland ask, as he then shake his head. "ok, next question, what were you doing in that Crystal and how did you get trap in it?" Roland ask, however Valentina couldn't come up with a answer for that. "I honestly don't know. i'm trying to remember, but I don't know how I got in there." Valentina replied, having a sad tone in her voice. "oh, ummmmm, hay, it's ok, maybe you'll get it back at some point?" Roland said, trying to cheer her up.

Valentina looks at him and smiles, before she started to yawn. "oh, I think we need to get some sleep. let me find you some clothes to sleep with." Roland said as he left the room. later he came back with a dark blue sweatpants and a blue sleeping tank top. "here, my mum always have spare clothes, just in case if we have guest over." Roland said, he then give it to her. "oh, they look nice, thank you." Valentina said as Roland smiles, however the Room then ends up being a bit quiet.

"so, not to sound rude but can you leave the room?" Valentina ask as Roland was confused. "what do you mean?" Roland ask. "well I can't change into them with you here to watch." Valentina said as she blushed, Roland thinks about it, until he realized what she meant as he then gets all red. "oh right! sorry I'll go now!" Roland said as he quickly leaves the room however he accidentally hit his face on the door, but quickly got up and went through the door. he then waited out side until one of his Brothers come through. he has brown hair and blue eyes with tan skin. he looks at Roland. "why are you standing there?" he ask. "oh, Laurens, I'm just.. thinking on.. what I'm going to do.. tomorrow?" Roland said hoping he buy it. Laurens shrug it off as he goes to his room.

Roland sigh in relief as he hears a quiet knock from his room. he went in to see that Valentina is in the sleeping clothes. "so how will this work?" she asked "do we sleep in the same bed?" as Roland hears this, he gets all red again. "maybe it's best you sleep on my bed and I'll sleep on the floor?" Roland suggested. "oh... ok." Valentina said as she yawn again, she then went in the bed as Roland take out a pillow and sleep on the floor. "well, good night." Valentina said. "night-night" Roland replied.

"oh, and Roland."

"yeah?"

"thank you for letting me stay here."

Roland smiles as they went to sleep. back at the cave, a group of Goblins came sniffing around. until a noise came and then a chains shows up and wrapped around on one of the Goblins as it then got pulled into the shadow, the other Goblins looked as they hears a squash sound. "Waka Chaka!" one of the Goblin said as they are prepare to attack.

then two red eyes appeared in the shadow as the sound of growls came, the Goblins eyes then widen in fear as a man came out of the shadow, he wears a black trench coat with black trousers, black boots and black fingerless gloves, he has chains around him and wears a iron mask on his face.

next to him are two Hellhounds, their eyes and mouth glow red, as smoke came out, the Goblins then tried to run away but the Hellhounds chase after them as the mask-man went in the cave, he sees a empty room with a pedestal and a shattered crystals.

"so this is were that magic wave came from." he said in a gravelly voice. his two Hellhounds came in the cave. "did you enjoy your dinner?" the mask man ask his Hellhounds not even looking at them as he pick up on of the shattered crystals.
