After a while of running, the cries of the Braviary and Golurk had quieted down and they slowed to a walk once they were sure that they had lost them.
The forest they were in wasn't as beautiful as Eterna Forest, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't still pretty. Reshiram couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the forest's wildlife as they traveled through the forest.
But even here, Reshiram couldn't take her mind off of why they were here. Kyurem was after them, and Reshiram knew he wouldn't stop at anything until he was able to gain his original form again.
Solgaleo turned suddenly, dashing away from Reshiram. "Solgaleo?" She called after him, running after Solgaleo. "Where are you going?"
"I think I've explored here before!" He said to her. "And if my memory serves me right, I think there might be something… Here!"
Once Reshiram was able to catch up to where Solgaleo stopped, she was immediately taken back by a breathtaking sight. Right in front of them, was a tree surrounded by a small pond of water. It reminded her of the Tree of Truth and Victory, but this one had long vines with small white flowers on each vine.
Reshiram's eyes widened. She thought she explored every inch of Unova, how could she miss this?
"It's beautiful!" Reshiram exclaimed, unable to keep her eyes off it. "I've never seen this many flowers on a tree before!"
She turned to Solgaleo, who had a proud look on him from his discovery. "I really can't thank you enough, Solgaleo." She said to him. "My only concern now is that even though we've gotten away from Kyurem, he'll just find us again, and he won't stop for anything until he's able to become his original form again."
Solgaleo thought for a moment before responding. "I can stay in Unova for as long as I have to." He said to her. "We can figure out a way to keep Kyurem from taking and fusing with you for as long as we need to."
Reshiram smiled and turned back to the tree. "You know… I have been frightened many times during this adventure. But I will admit, I've also had a little fun on this journey. No matter how many times I got scared."
"Sounds like being the Dragon of Truth isn't really easy." Solgaleo said to her. Reshiram turned back to him. "It isn't sometimes…" She said to him. "But I still do love the Unova Region. I swore that I'll do my best to protect the Pokémon of this Region. No matter what happens." She went quiet for a moment. "Solgaleo, once this is over and you have to head back to Alola, please, remember this place."
Solgaleo smiled at her. "I will. I definitely will."
Emotion from Solgaleo's promise started to come to her eyes. Reshiram turned away from Solgaleo and looked back at the tree.
"Reshiram?" She heard Solgaleo ask her. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, yeah…" She told him as the tears started to form in her eyes.
Reshiram took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. You mustn't cry. She told herself over and over again. You mustn't cry, you mustn't cry, you mustn't…
She ran over to Solgaleo and hugged him, still forcing herself not to cry as Reshiram held him.
"Reshiram, don't worry." She heard Solgaleo say to her. "Just smile."
Reshiram tried to smile, and she felt better once she was able to put it on.
