Hello everyone! Not much to say but I hope you enjoy this one, so bye!
Uryu realised it was a bit arrogant to declare so whole heartedly that he would get into Class 1-A but it wasn't entirely presumptuous, he'd counted the points and unless the requirement was completely ridiculous he was well sure he had passed at the very least. Enough about himself though, Midoryia was what his mind was really focused on. He leaped Infront of the Zero Pointer and crushed it with relative ease, but such massive drawback. To so carelessly throw himself Infront of danger knowing the certainty he'd get hurt so much, it was utterly illogical, and it was exactly the mark of a hero. It reminded him of All might, a never ending source of heroism and idealism, such people were so hard to find in this boring grey world of apathy and sloth. People like him gave hope to the masses; a true hero. Ah...it sounds like he's fan boying, doesn't it? He should restrain himself, he's known Midoryia for all of 2 hours, he'll just have to wait and see him in action to get a real judge of character. Now though, he's just gonna get home. Sitting on one of the worn seats on the bus, he closed his eyes and really focused on the music from his earphones, specifically 'The Weight.' by The band. He'd heard the song a good thousand times before due to it being a personal favourite of Askin's, and yet it never got sick of it. Its country melody making him feel at ease and getting rid of what little anxiety he had. Eventually he found himself blacking out as he was sucked into the soft lullaby from his ear phones...
He was awoken abruptly by the feel of a cold and leathery hand on his cheek. Uryu jolted awake and looked around in a mild daze, being informed by the bus driver that they'd reached the end of the line and told not so politely to jog on. Uryu, slightly miffed at the elderly mans attitude, gathered his things and left the bus. As he exited the bus he saw a pair of familiar faces at the bus stop, Giselle and Bambietta who were preoccupied bickering with each other, but soon enough noticed Uryu and turned to him. Giselle stood on the left of Uryu and smiled cheekily at him, "Well how was our little heroes day~?" she said with a giggle. In return Uryu scoffed in annoyance and said "Don't patronise me Gigi." Giselle let out a faux-dramatic whine at this and responded with "I'm just showing concern for you Uryu!" Bambietta rolled her eyes at them before she turned her head to Uryu and raised an eyebrow "Well, how did you do?" Uryu mused how to respond for just a moment before answering, "I believe I passed, the written test was challenging enough but not unsurpassable and I'm almost certain I gathered enough points in the practical, but we'll just have to wait and see." Giselle giggled again at Uryu, "Oh please Yu, your his majesty's crown prince if you couldn't pass a simple entrance exam I'd be worried." Bambietta nodded in agreement. Uryu just shrugged, he didn't want to become another Icarus so he would temper his expectations. The trio of foster siblings continued walking back to their home talking about everything and nothing.
Izuku Midoryia was absolutely excited. I mean, who wouldn't be? It was his first day at U.A and the beginning of his hero carrer! Standing at the gates of the massive school he was in awe at its size and grandeur, despite the fact he's studied every facete of it endlessly from every possible source online and was here only a scant few weeks ago for the entance exam. He took a deep breath to calm himself, excitement only clouds the mind and he needed to be in top form for any possible challenges that may come! (Midoryia was kidding himself with that one, you could still visibly see his eyes flashing with a childlike excitement.) But, besides the becoming a hero part, he was excited about the possibility of seeing Uryu Ishida again. Although he had spoke to the boy for only a few minutes, he certainly made an impression. Just as the thought crossed the greenettes minds, he heard a mighty cry from behind him mostly likely at the gate. Turning around he saw quite an unusual sight, a group of around a bakers dozen was stood there at the massive gate with...Ishida at the center! Without much thought his legs moved towards the blue haired boy and his mouth called out "Ishida!" Like the flick of a switch the group surrounding Ishida moved their gaze to Midoryia, now making him the center of attention. Shit, Midoryia's social anxiety kicked in. Before he could stutter too much, Uryu spoke up. "Midoryia?"
"Ah! Y-Yeah Ishida, it's me! I-I just wanted to come over and...congratulate you for making it into U.A! Yeah, thats why!" A rough voice spoke up before Uryu could, "Eh? You think Uryu wouldn't be able to make it into U.A ?" Turning his head slightly to the side he saw a man with a...pink mullet? who looked to be around 20, and he had a large scowl on his face as he eyed up Midoryia. Once again before Midoryia could speak for himself Uryu spoke, "Would you hush up Bazz, he's just being pleasant, something I'm sure you have no clue about." The man now revealed to be Bazz looked like he was about to go off before a very tall and muscular (Oh my days, was he a bodybuilder or something-) blond got him in a headlock shutting him up. Taking the punks role in the conversation was a slightly younger, lankier man with pronounced cheek bones. "Sorry for our brothers rude words, he's like a wild boar." A muffled, but very noticable screech was heard at this. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your connection to our Uryu?"
Midoryia wasn't great at reading people, but the hostility the man had wasn't particulary conspicuous. It wasn't forward like the punks, but it could be seen clear as day through the sharp look his lilac eyes had. This time though Midoryia had actually worked up the courage to speak for himself, which Uryu raised a brow at in mild suprise. "I-I'm Izuku Midoryia, me and Ishida met at the entrance exam. He saved me from grave injury, so I wanted to repay it on kindness like a hero would." It hadnt come out exactly as planned, the stuter at the start wasn't great and it did sound a bit corny even to his hero loving self, but it did reflect how he was feeling. He could tell Ishida's...entourage? Wasn't particularly impressed, but Ishida had a different reaction. He hung his head a bit lower and sighing before rasing and meeting Midoryia's gaze and saying in a mildly cold tone, "I'll be late to form class if you continue to keep us. Come along Midoryia." Without looking at him, Ishida started to walk with full expectation that Midoryia would follow.
Midoryia, surprised by the command and how Uryu expected him to follow, followed him. For a few seconds there was deafening silence between the two boys before Midoryia decided to break it. "So, um...I assume that yours family?" Just a little question to break the ice. Uryu nodded, "Yes, they are." He said rather bluntly. Midoryia gulped, trying to think of a way to keep the conversation going. "Umm...If you don't mind me asking, are you adopted?" It was a bit of a risk, it could be taken wrong but Uryu doesn't seem the type to get offended easily. Uryu raised a brow in mild suprise at how quickly Midoryia asked it. Most people wait at least a few weeks before asking a question like that and the greeny didn't seem the type tp be so bold, but it didn't bother Uryu. "Almost, I'm a foster kid. There's only two people in my family related by blood,my little brother and sister Gremmy and Liltotto." Midoryia made an "Oh" sound in light of this revelation. It made sense, none of them looked particularly similar especially as they were all a mix of various races and Uryu was Asian (Probably should've clued in on that from the start-)
The rest of the walk was quite quiet until they reached the classroom. Both boys stood side by side, their eyes rising to take in the size of the massive door. With a deep breath Uryu put his palm on the door, feeling the material and pushed it open. The first thing the boys noticed was there not being a teacher present in the room, and due to this the students that were present were quite rowdy, they had also appeared to form potential friend groups. For Midoryia this was a reason for concern due to his social awkwardness, to Uryu it was merely an observation, if he grew attached to anyone in this field it would just make it harder. Additionally it seemed that enemies were also being formed, as a tall and broad blue haired boy similar to Uryu, was arguing with a boy who had sandy and spikey hair. Uryu noticed the Midoryia's eyes widened slightly at the sight of this boy, curious, Uryu will not it down for later. What an intresting first second in the class.
Just as they had stopped their analysis of their classmates, someone approached them, the girl with a brown bob from the entrance exam, Ochako Uraraka. "Hey, Ishida, Midoryia! I see you got into class 1-A." Midroyia answered first, "U-Uh, Yeah, we did! I'm glad we did honestly, I don't know anyone else here besides you two..." Uryu could tell it was a lie, but didn't press, it wasn't a strangers place to. "Yes, it would've been rather dull to not be able to talk with anyone." Uryu said rather coldly, he didn't want them (or him) to gain any form of connection. A rather unpleasant scream was heard, and the trio turned their heads to its source, who happened to be one of the boys arguing earlier the sandy haired one in specific. "DEKU! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" The boy looked feral, like many of the dogs that frequented Uryu's area. Who was he yapping at though? Who in their right mind would be called Deku? Suddenly, Midoryia spoke up. "K-Kachan! I can explain I swear-" He said, almost fearfully. What was going on here? "YOU BETTER YOU USELESS BASTARD! HOW DID-"
Uryu was sick of this. "Do you ever stop yammering?" Uryu said between gritted teeth, obnoxiously load people were one of his pet pet peeves. "Huh!? What'd you say you specky bastard!?" He'd calmed ever so slightly, but still too loud for Uryu's liking. "I said, you are barking like a feral animal, do you have rabbis or are you just an obnoxious bastard?" He didn't like this of course so he put himself in a fighting stance, although it was shoddy. What really concerned Uryu was the sparks from his hands, combustion? Explosions? What ever it was it had power behind it, so no point taking a risk. Uryu activated Blut Vene and got into his own stance, preparing to fight back if necessary, but before either could throw the first punch a voice spoke out from behind the pair, "Is this really the new crop of students I have to deal with?" The pair, and the rest involved, heads snapped towards the voice. It was low and tired sounding, sounded like it belonged to an insomniac and it looked like it did. Besides his head, the rest of the mans body was cacooned in a bright yellow sleeping bag, slowly he emerged from it and he looked like a bum off the street. Shaggy black hair and equally dark eye bags, and what in Soul Kings name was that scarf? He was a 'fashion disaster', as Candice would put it.
Uryu couldn't imagine he was just some random man who wandered into the classroom, so naturally he had to be a member of staff. Uryu quickly bowed towards the man to show respect and apologise, "I apologise, Sir. It was brash and immature to start a fight." The teachers eyes widen by the smallest margin at how easily Uryu complied, but quickly returned to his normal dead-pan state. The rest of the class copped on to who this man was from Uryu address to him, and quickly followed suit, even the loud mouth (Though with some grumbling.) The man just sighed and murmered out, "Get into your seats." and the class quickly complied, along with a few murmurs about his appearance and tone. After a few minutes of shuffling about into seats, the man observed the class for a few, silent seconds before speaking. "I am Shouta Aizawa," He began. 'Shit.' Uryu thought. He knew who his teacher was now, the underground hero Erasurehead. Not well known to the public for his hushed up hero work, but that was what made him scary. He dealt with the scum of the earth, and he dealt with them brutally and efficiently. Some of these people he'd pinched were from Uryu's own neighbourhood, one even being his upstairs neighbour. While they hadn't done anything too serious, they'd still got caught by the hero and there descriptions of him were like a real life John Wick. Uryu prayed to Reio that he was less harsh on his students.
While Uryu internally monologued, Aizawa continued to speak. "And I shall be your homeroom teacher for this year. Normally you'd be made to do an icebreaker, but I know how much teenagers hate activities like that, so get to know each other on your own time." In an instant, Aizawa's tone became much darker and serious. "This is U.A, you are going to be the top heroes of the world and so you fight in that world, I'm not going to baby you." The were a few looks about the classroom, but that was expected. Culture shock from the relatively relaxed middle schools to this. "So, instead of going to orientation, we shall be partaking in a special activity. Go down to the changing room, gym uniforms will be fond there, be snappy." Well, this is a mild surprise. From what Uryu knew about U.A, they were quite traditional and set in the rules so a teacher to against the curb like this was unexpected, but adaptable. What was concerning though was Aizawa's sinister grin, almost like he enjoyed the confusion that his new students were experiencing. Uryu wasn't easily shaken, but this man...he was something else
After awhile they all made it to the changing rooms, girls and boys obviously splitting up into their respective rooms. Uryu grabbed a set of clothes and choose a corner and stayed there, he really didn't want to converse with others while changing, his brothers already called him scrawny enough. Because of his quick speed, he got a chance to observe his other classmates builds, see possible competition. To Uryu's secret dismay, practically all of them were at least toned, some even built like a body builders. Uryu didnt think it put him at a particular disadvantage or anything, Blut made up for and more any physical shortcomings he may, he just wished it was a smaller amount of built people. No matter, if there was one person who was going to be slender like him, it was going to be Midory-and nope, he's built as well. 'Fuck my life.' Uryu thought scornfully.
After about 5 minutes Uryu had left the changing room and headed outside to the area instructed to go to by Mr Aizawa, being the first one there. After a few scant minutes the girls began to trickle out, and a few more later the boys came out, Uryu's eyes began to scan noticing some key features: a long jump, a hundred metre dash, shot put, and other various fitness tests. So that was his goal. Afterwards, he began to watch his classmates one more time (He wasn't a creep, just observant.) He saw all his classmates speak quite jovially with one another, a rud awakening was coming was all that Uryu could think about. Interrupting Uryu's train of thought was a tap on his shoulder, truning his head slightly he saw it was Uraraka smiling nervously at him. "Hello Uraraka, can I help you?" Uryu asked with a quirked eyebrow. Uraraka gave a half-hearted chuckle and shrugged. "Oh, nothing in particular, I just don't really have anyone to talk to." Uryu nodded in understanding, though silently he wished that he would've been left alone not due to any distain he had for Uraraka, but because he wanted time to formulate plans on how to dominate in the fitness tests.
After around half a minute of awkward silence, Uraraka took initiative. "Sooo, what do you think we're out here for?" "Most likely a fitness test. See all the different fitness equipment and tracks." Uraraka make an 'ah' sound, along with a small blush gracing her cheeks for not being able to deduce the simple truth by herself. Befow re anything else could be said between the pair a loud clap was heard, and them turning their heads soon revealed that it Mr Aizawa. "Alright, today we will be doing some fitness tests, so I can gain a sense of your physical attributes," Uryu hummed in faux-surprise, almost mockingly to those who hadn't figured it out. "but with a slight...quirk, compared to the rules you went through in Middle school." Uryu's eyes widened. Again Mr Aizawa had deviated from norms. "In Middle school, use of quirks in physical aptitude tests was strictly forbidden. I see that as pointless, your quirk is like an extra limb, to handicap yourself in such a way is idiotic. So today, you shall be permitted to use your quirks."
Naturally, this caused excitement within his classmates. A pair, a boy with electric yellow hair and a black streak, and a girl who was starburst pink, were particularly overjoyed at this, loudly proclaiming how much 'fun' this was going to be. Unfortunatley, this seem to have drawn the ire of their teacher, who glared sternly at them. "Oh, this is going to be 'fun', huh? You know what isn't fun? People dying because of you lack of appreciation of the situation you're in, and maybe there isn't such concerns in a test like this, how abouts I add some stakes to this? Whoever gets last overall, shall be expelled from U.A." Uryu was going to kill those neon bastards.
Well, there it is. Sry its been like 7 months since the last chapter, life was just busy for awhile. Will try and update more but idk. Anyway bye.
